Chapter 14:
After telling Elyon what happened, she left special instructions for Raythor and her other captians before heading back to Earth with her friends. She gave Raythor a special amulet that aloud him to contact her if she was needed back on Metamoor. Once on Earth, everyone headed to their homes to do whatever homework they had to do. Once at her home on Earth, Elyon told her adoptive parents what happened.
"So, Cedric released the Lurdens to lure you and your friends to see how strong you all were?", Alborn questioned as he sat in his favorite chair.
"Yeah.", Elyon said. "All he did was attack Eric and drain Hay Lin of her energy."
"He must be up to something.", Miriadel said as she began to think about what Elyon told her.
"The question is, what.", Alborn said.
"I don't know.", Elyon said. "But now that he knows how powerful we all are, there might be trouble for us."
"Not to change the subject, but have you decided if you're going to tell Joel the truth about you?", Miriadel asked.
"I'm still thinking about it.", Elyon said. "But the others have given me some good reason as to why I should tell him."
"Well, whatever you decide, we'll be right behind you, Elyon.", Alborn said.
"Thanks, dad.", Elyon said as she hugged her father.
At the Cook's home, Taranee had just finished telling her mother about what happened at school and Metamoor.
"So, Eric and Hay Lin are okay?", Theresa asked.
"Yeah.", Taranee said. "Cornelia was able to heal Eric's arm, and Hay Lin just needs some rest."
"That's good to hear.", Theresa said. "But I must admit, that I'm going to be worried about you whenever you go to fight who knows what. But I guess all I can do is pray and hope that you'll come back safe."
"We're always careful, mom.", Taranee said. "That's one thing we always make sure of."
"I know.", Theresa said with a smile. "Now about Irma and Angelo being banned from Prom. I wish there was something I could do, but I'm only a judge, dear. Not the mayor."
"I know.", Taranee said. "I just had to get out how I feel about it all."
"Now, as for your Sex Ed project.", Theresa said trying to hold back her laughter. "Will there be a mock wedding for all the couples?"
Theresa then busted out laughing, surprising Taranee.
"Mom!", Taranee whined. "You don't have to poke fun!"
"I'm sorry!", Theresa said laughing. "It's just part of me finds that it's funny that the school is doing this to send a message, when it only does the opposite!"
Taranee then started to giggle after thinking about. Soon, she too started laughing along with her mother. Just then, Lione Cook walked past the room they were in and saw his wife and daughter laughing about something.
'What's so funny?', he thought to himself as he headed for the kitchen.
At the Vandom residence, Susan was just told first about what happened on Metamoor and then at school with the Sex Ed project. And well...
"It's not that funny, mom!", Will said as Susan was cracking up.
"To me it is!", Susan said. "For two weeks, you get to see what married life is like! Oh, this is going to be rich!"
"Gee, thanks for the support.", Will said while rolling her eyes.
"Aaaw! My poor baby.", Susan said as she lightly pinched Will's cheeks before busting out laughing again.
At the Lin's home, Hay Lin was resting in bed comfortably, while Eric was in a chair next ot her.
"You don't have to be here you know.", Hay Lin said to Eric as she laid under the covers of her bed.
"I know.", Eric said. "But I want to. It's the least I could do after what happened."
"That wasn't your fault.", Hay Lin said as she slowly sat up. "Neither of us was ready for Cedric. He's way stronger than us right now. There was no way for us to be ready for him."
"Maybe.", Eric said. "But that's not going to stop me from doing more training."
"Just don't over do it.", Hay Lin said. "Too much training can be a bad thing."
"Don't worry.", Eric said with a smile. "I won't."
Hay Lin then smiled back before giving him a kiss. Watching this from outside Hay Lin's room was her mother and grandmother.
"They really care for each other.", Joan said as they headed towards the living room.
"That they do.", Yan Lin said as they walked by Chen, who was coming out the kitchen. "After all, for the next two weeks they are husband and wife."
Joan couldn't help but giggle at that.
"I still don't understand what the School Board will gain by having the students do this project.", Chen said. "If anything, it'll give the students a look into married life."
"They believe that it will turn them from doing what Angelo and Irma did.", Yan Lin replied.
"Ah, but if only they knew the truth about them.", Chen replied. "They'd shut their mouths then."
"If only.", Joan said.
"Do not worry.", Yan Lin said. "Things will turn out well. Trust me when I say, they've all faced a lot worse than this."
"I hope you're right mother.", Chen said. "I truely hope you're right. Cause between the School Board and that Cedric guy, I think Hay Lin and the others may have their hands full."
In the Hale's home, Cornelia had just told her parents what happened in school and on Metamoor, when her mother had an idea.
"Well, seeing as you and Caleb are a married couple for the next two weeks, I think it's time we met his father.", Elizabeth said as she was flipping through channels on the TV.
"What?", Cornelia questioned.
"You heard me, young lady.", Elizabeth said. "Ever since we met Caleb, I've always wondered why his parents sent him here to live. But now that me and your father know the truth, it all makes sense."
"But that doesn't mean we still don't want to meet him.", Harold said.
"I guess that makes sense.", Cornelia said. "So, when do you want to do this?"
"What ever day is good for him.", Harold said. "From what Caleb tells me, his father has been busy lately."
"I'll talk to Caleb and see what his father says.", Cornelia said.
"Good.", Elizabeth said. "Now, let me tell you a few things about being married."
'Oh boy.', Harold thought to himself as he saw the smile on his wife's face. 'I feel for Caleb.'
Harold then got up and headed for his den, not wanting to hear what his wife was going to say. At the Vanders' home, Irma was on the phone with her parents, who were on different phones, telling them all that happened. And as she figured, her parents reacted the way she thought they would.
"The nerve of them having you all doing that stupid project!", Anna said.
"It's not so bad, mom.", Irma said. "As far as I'm concerned, they others will get to see what me and Angelo go through. And Dad? It's not that funny!"
"Yes it is!", Tom laughed. "They've given you a project that you'll get a "A" on! Maybe an "A+"!"
Irma then busted out laughing with her father. Even her mother was laughing.
"What's so funny?", Angelo asked as he was flipping through channels.
Irma told him what her father said, making him laugh as well. Irma then slapped his arm playfully before talking to her parents on the phone.
"So, have you two decided on going on that vacation yet?", Irma asked. "You both know you need it."
"I don't know, Irma.", Anna said. "We'll be gone for at least five days. Are you sure, you and Angelo will be able to handle Chris?"
"Angelo? Mom wants to know if we'll be able to handle Chris if my parents go on vacation.", Irma asked her husband.
"Tell my loving, mother-in-law that we can handle Chris!", Angelo said loud enough for Anna to hear through the phone.
"Okay! Okay!", Anna said with a grin. "I get it! You'll be okay woth Chris! We'll take the vacation."
"Good!", Irma said. "So, when will you two be leaving?"
"This weekend.", Tom said. "We'll be gone for a week."
"I know, dad.", Irma said. "Don't worry. Once you drop Chris off here, this weekend, all you and mom will have to worry about is what you two will be doing once you get to Cormorran Beach."
"Okay. You win.", Tom said. "Me and Anna will make plans for our vacation. We'll call you tomorrow."
"Okay.", Irma said. "Love you guys."
"We love you too, Irma.", Anna said. "Bye."
"Bye.", Irma said before hanging up the phone.
Irma then went over to the couch Angelo was on and flopped down in a laying position and rested her head in Angelo's lap.
"So, are they going on vacation?", Angelo asked as he finally found something to watch.
"Yep.", Irma said smiling. "They'll be leaving this weekend. So, expect Chris here on Friday."
"Next week is going to be fun.", Angelo said with a grin.
"Chris won't be so bad.", Irma said. "From what dad tells me, the twerp has been pretty good since he and Lillian have been training with Grandpa Joe and Kadma."
"I wonder how strong they are.", Angelo pondered. "Cause with Gramps and Grandma, you never know what to expect."
"Who knows.", Irma said as she stretched her arms. "As long as he behaves when he's here, I'm happy."
"We'll be alright.", Angelo said. "As long as you behave too."
"What?", Irma questioned as she sat up and turned to face Angelo.
"Don't what me!", Angelo said with a grin. "You forget, I know how you and Chris can be sometimes."
"Well, I guess you'll have to spank me if I'm bad.", Irma said as she stradled Angelo's lap.
"Oh, I think I can handle that.", Angelo said as he looked into his wife's eyes.
Angelo saw the look in Irma's eyes and knew what she wanted as she looked at him seductivly. Giving it no second thought, Angelo gave his wife a passionate kiss. One she returned with the same amount of passion, if not more. Angelo then reached for the remote and turned the TV off and tossed the remote on the couch and stood up while holding on to his wife as she wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms around his upper body. Angelo, while making-out with Irma, made his way to their bedroom and closed the door. He then went to the bed and laid down on it with Irma, who unwrapped her legs from his waist. They then looked into each others eyes smiling.
"I love you, Irma Vanders.", Angelo said to Irma.
"I love you too, Angelo Vanders.", Irma said to Angelo before they shared another passionate kiss.
Later that evening, Angelo and Irma slept in their bed after doing... well, you know. It! They were sleeping peacefully, when Irma woke up needing to use the bathroom. She got up and grabbed her nightgown and put it on and went to the bathroom. After handling her business she got a glass of water and went to bed after drinking it. Once she was in the bedroom, she saw Angelo stirring in his sleep. She slowly went up to him and gently touched him and shook him.
"Angelo, wake up!", Irma said as she shook him.
Angelo's eyes opened up wide as he sat up quickly, and took a deep breath. He looked around to see that he was in his bed with Irma looking at him with worried look on his face.
"You okay?", Irma asked with concern.
"We have a problem!", Angelo said. "A really BIG problem!"
A/N: Well, looks like Angelo's Seer powers have come into play. Wonder what he saw? Well, you'll have to find out in the next chapter.
