Chapter 15:
The next day after school, everyone was in Angelo and Irma's apartment. Angelo had them all come there when school ended for the day. For he had something to tell them.
"So, why are we here again?", Cornelia questioned.
"Yeah man.", Matt said. "What's going on?"
"I... had a dream last night.", Angelo said. "And it wasn't pretty."
All but Elyon and Peter gasped in surprise.
"Did I miss something?", Elyon questioned. "So, what if Angelo had a bad dream."
"Yeah.", Peter said. "It's only a dream."
Peter looked at Cassidy, who had a worried look on her face.
"Isn't it?", Peter questioned as he saw the look on Cassidy's face.
"Angelo is a Seer.", Cassidy said to Peter.
"A Seer?", Elyon questioned.
"He can see possible futures.", Cornelia explained. "For him it's when he dreams it."
"Really?", Elyon questioned as she looked at Angelo.
"Yep.", Angelo said. "And what I saw, scared me."
"What did you see?", Eric asked.
"Well, we all were there, ready to fight someone." Angelo began to explain. "And then Crimson showed up along with Cedric, Miranda, Frost, and a guy with long pale blond hair."
"That has to be Phobos!", Elyon said.
"I guess so.", Angelo said. "As we were standing there ready to fight, a woman stands with us ready to fight."
"A woman?", Taranee questions.
"Yeah.", Angelo said. "I didn't recognize the face, but she had long black hair."
"How long?", Will asked.
"As long as Cornelia's hair.", Angelo said as he pointed to Cornelia. "Only a bit longer, and with more volume. I think her eyes were green."
The girls along with, Elyon, Cassidy, Matt, and Caleb gasped after Angelo said that.
"Was it something I said?", Angelo asked.
Elyon then walked up to Angelo and formed a ball of light. Elyon then made the image Nerissa's face appear in the ball of light.
"Was this the woman that stood by us, in your dream?", Elyon asked Angelo as she showed him Nerissa's face.
Angelo's eyes went wide as he saw the face in the ball of light.
"That's her!", Angelo said. "She's the one I saw fighting by our side!"
"Are you positvie?", Caleb questioned.
"Heck yeah!", Angelo said. "She even took a major hit for you, Caleb."
Caleb had a look of shock on his face after Angelo told him that. After all that has happened in the past, the thought of his mother protecting him never came to mind.
"Did I miss something here?", Angelo asked.
"You guys never told him about Nerissa?", Elyon questioned.
The girls along with Matt and Caleb shook their heads.
"Hold up!", Cornelia said as she turned towards Irma. "You mean to tell me that during your eight years together on that alternate Earth, you never told Angelo about Nerissa."
"Of course I have.", Irma replied.
"You mean the former Guardian, who went bad, Nerissa?", Angelo questioned. "That's who was in my dream."
"That's the one.", Hay Lin said.
"Wow!", Angelo said. "I never saw her before. So, that's what she looks like."
"The main question is, why was she fighting by our side in your dream.", Nigel said.
"Who knows.", Taranee said. "It could be for any reason."
"Maybe she'll change her ways and join us.", Hay Lin suggested.
"Don't get your hopes up.", Caleb said. "For all we know, she may be planning to get on our good side to betray us later on."
"Maybe.", Cassidy said. "But then again, anything is possible."
"That's true.", Irma said as she sat next to Angelo. "I mean look at me and Aneglo. I never thought that we'd of gone through what we've been through. And believe me when I say, we've been through a lot."
"And then some.", Angelo said as he held Irma's hand and smiled at her.
"What happen during those eight years, anyway?", Eric asked.
"Sorry, but you'll have to wait until we finish our book.", Irma said.
"What book?", Peter questioned.
"The book we're writting.", Angelo said. "We're doing a story based on our eight year on the alternate Earth."
"When did you come up with that idea?", Will asked.
"Last week.", Irma said. "We had plenty of time to start it seeing as we weren't in school. We've already done year one."
"Remember what we had to go through the first week there?", Angelo asked Irma.
"I remember how the people were when they saw us flying.", Irma said with a grin. "That was priceless!"
"No more talk about that!", Cornelia said. "Write you book. Then we can read it."
"Fair enough.", Irma and Angelo said.
"Let's get back to the matter at hand.", Will said. "What do we do about Crimson and his allies?"
"Actually we have other things to worry about.", Angelo said getting their attention. "There's more to my dream."
"What else is there?", Matt questioned.
"In my dream, you girls wasn't in your Guardian forms. And Matt wasn't in his Regent form.", Angelo said surprising the others. "And we were on Earth."
Meanwhile, on the world where Crimson and company were hiding, Crimson had just finished meditating in the Courtyard of the palace they were staying in, when Nerissa, who was dressed in her training Gi, walked out.
"Well, look who's decided to come out from the palace.", Crimson said with a grin. "Finished reading your book?"
"That one I am.", Nerissa said as she did some stretching. "I have a few more to read."
"Find anything interesting, in the one you read?", Crimson asked.
"Maybe.", Nerissa said.
"I have to ask.", Crimson said. "What do plan on getting out of all of this?"
"What do you mean?", Nerissa asked.
"Well, I know that Phobos wants power, just like Cedric.", Crimson replied. "And ten-to-one, they'll fight each other for it, like a two dogs over a scrap of meat. As for Miradna, I know she'll stick with Cedric, while Frost may side with whoever is the strongest. But you're different. All you've ever wanted to do was end all war. And you might of achived it if the Guardians hadn't use Phobos to stop you."
"Perhaps.", Nerissa said. "But that's in the past. If we do beat the Guardians and their allies, and get what we want, I'll deal with Phobos and Cedric then."
"Speaking of of the Guardian's allies, what of your son?", Crimson questioned.
"What does he have to do with this?", Nerissa questioned.
"Now you and I both know that he'll be by their side when the time comes.", Crimson said. "What do you plan to do when the time comes?"
"I can stop my son without hurting him.", Nerissa said as she finished stretching. "So, you have nothing to worry about. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to do some training."
Nerissa then took to the air to find a spot to do some training. As she flew off, a smirk came to Crimson's face as he watched her fly off.
"We shall see what happens when the time comes, Nerissa.", Crimson said as he headed back into the palace. "We shall see."
Back on Earth, in the apartment home of Angelo and Irma Vanders, Angelo had just told the others that in his dream, they all were about to fight Crimson and his allies, with Nerissa on their side. But the big shocker was that it was happening on Earth and W.I.T.C.H. wasn't in their Guardian forms. Nor was Matt in his Regent form.
"So, those of us that could transform, weren't transformed, and we were on Earth ready to fight Crimson?", Cornelia questioned.
"And don't forget about Nerissa fighting on our side.", Hay Lin added.
"Yes. Yes. And Yes.", Angelo said. "That's what was in my dream."
"And let's not forget that the dream he had about me getting eaten almost came true.", Irma said.
"So, what do we do now?", Nigel said.
"What I don't get is why were we on Earth?", Taranee questioned. "Could Crimson really be thinking about coming to Earth to fight us?"
"Maybe.", Will said. "And if that's the case, we'll just have to be ready for them when they come."
"But why weren't we transformed?", Matt questioned.
"This is just a theroy, but maybe you guys didn't transform to keep the whole Guardian, Regent thing a secret.", Elyon figured.
"Makes sense.", Irma said. "I mean look at what we can do because of all the training we did, with Uncle John and Grandpa Joe."
"This is true.", Cornelia said. "Hey! Maybe if we find out where Crimson and the others are hiding, we can stop them right then and there!"
"But finding them is the problem.", Caleb said. "And if Kandrakar can't find them, then what chance do we have of doing it?"
"Caleb has a point there.", Angelo said.
"I say that we get ready for whatever happens.", Irma suggested.
"I think that's all we can do.", Taranee said.
"I think you're right.", Will said.
"Well, this puts a damper on things.", Eric replied to which everyone agreed.
"What if they attack during Prom?", Hay Lin questioned.
"I wish they would!", Cornelia said. "They'd get the beating of a lifetime!"
"Looks like Corny has her priorities in check.", Irma joked getting a laugh out of the others.
"Again with the calling my Corny!", Cornelia said while rolling her eyes.
"It's one of life's pleasures.", Irma said smiling.
Just then, the phone rang. Irma when and answered the phone.
"Hello, Vanders residents.", Irma said as she answered the phone.
"Why do I get the feeling she loves saying that when she answers the phone?", Peter questioned.
"Cause she does.", Angelo said with a grin. "Whenever she answers the phone, that's what she says."
"Like you don't like it.", Will said.
"I'd be lying if I said no.", Angelo said as Irma hung up the phone.
"That was Uncle John.", Irma said. "He wants us to come downstairs to the Living Room. Says it's important."
"Okay.", Angelo said as they all headed downstairs.
Once downstairs, they saw that Susan and Anna were there along with Chris.
"And now that I've done my part in getting you all down here, I'm off to take care of some business across town.", John said before he gave Susan a quick kiss and headed out of the room.
"So, what's all this about?", Irma questioned.
"Well, I know it's early, but then again, the sooner you plan this the better.", Anna said.
"Plan what?", Angelo asked.
Anna and Susan then pulled out some magazines. These magazines were either about weddings, bride's dresses and other things for weddings.
"Your wedding!", Anna said happily.
Angelo saw as a bright and happy smile grow on Irma's face.
"As you can see, Irma is pleased with this.", Angelo said as Irma walked up to her mother and hugged her.
Soon the other girls gathered around to look at the magazines, leaving the guys standing there.
"I say we go hang somewhere.", Angelo said.
The boys all agreed as they left the place and went to chill somewhere, while John left to take care of some business across town.
"Look at all these dresses!", Elyon said as she flipped through a magazine. "How are you going to pick your dress, Irma?"
"Simple.", Irma said as she was flipping through a magazine. "I'll just find one that looks like the one I wore at my wedding."
"That does make sense.", Taranee said. "But what about us when it comes to our Bridesmaids."
"Not to mention, what Will's going to wear as Angelo's Best Woman.", Hay Lin added.
"As my Bridesmaids, you'll be wearing at the Bridesmaids wore at our wedding.", Irma said. "And don't worry, the dresses will look great. And as for you, Will, your outfit will look great too."
"How can we be sure?", Cornelia questioned.
"You just have to trust me.", Irma said in a sing-song voice.
"See, now I'm scared.", Cornelia said getting a laugh out of the other girls along with Susan and Anna.
"Hey! Where are the boys?", Cassidy questioned as she noticed that they weren't there.
"They left a few minutes ago.", Irma said as she was looking through another magazine. "Didn't you guys notice them leave?"
"Um... no.", Will said. "How did you?"
"I saw them leave before I started looking through the magazines.", Irma replied.
"Wonder where they went off to.", Hay Lin pondered.
"Who knows.", Cornelia said. "They're probably out doing whatever it is guys do. Now I have a question for you, Irma."
"Shoot.", Irma said.
"How did you and Angelo pick your wedding date?", Cornelia asked.
Anna couldn't help but giggle at that question along with Will and Taranee.
"What's so funny?", Hay Lin asked.
"They know from when we used the Heart to boost Taranee's telepathy so she could connect me and Angelo's minds to my parents to show them what we've been though on the alternate Earth.", Irma replied.
"Oh yeah.", Hay Lin said.
"So, how did you and Angelo pick the date?", Cassidy asked.
"Actually, that was kind of easy.", Irma said. "What we did was this. We first took our birthdays and counted the days between them. Counting the birthday as well."
"Let's see.", Hay Lin said. "Irma's birthday is March 13."
"And Angelo's is March 16.", Will said. "That makes it three days all together."
"Right.", Irma said. "We then counted a month afterwards for each day."
"April, May, June.", Elyon said. "You got married in June!"
"Yep.", Irma said.
"But what was the date?", Susan asked.
"Add our birthdays together.", Irma said.
"13 plus 16... You got married on the 29th of June.", Taranee figured.
"And there you go!", Irma said smiling. "Four years ago, on June 29th, I became Mrs. Irma Vanders."
Elsewhere, Angelo and the guys were in the park tossing around a football as he was telling them about when he and Irma got married. And he had just told them how they picked their wedding date.
"That has got to be the most interesting way to pick a date.", Peter said as he tossed the football to Angelo.
"Maybe so, but it worked for me and Irma.", Angelo said as he caught the ball.
"You know if Irma tells the girls this, they'll want to do the same thing when they get married.", Caleb said as Angelo tossed Eric the ball.
"Those will be some interesting dates.", Nigel said as Eric caught the ball.
"I just had a thought.", Matt said as Eric tossed the ball to Caleb. "What's Will going to be wearing at the wedding?"
"Irma said she had that all picked out.", Angelo said as Caleb caught the ball.
"How's the marching order going to be?", Peter questioned as Caleb tossed the ball to Matt.
"Well, me and Irma really thought about that, and came up with something that works.", Angelo said as Matt caught the ball. "First will be Hay Lin and Eric seeing as Hay Lin in Irma's best friend."
"I figured that.", Matt said.
"Next will be Will and you.", Angelo said to Matt as he tossed the ball to Nigel. "But when you two get to the end, Will will get closest to me, followed by Eric, then you."
"Sweet!", Eric said.
"Dude!", Matt said.
"Sorry, man.", Angelo said. "But, Eric's my boy! I hang with him more than you guys. Just like you hang with Nigel more than the rest of us."
"You got a point there.", Matt said. "I can live with that."
"Cool!", Angelo said. "After you and Will it's Cassidy and Peter, followed by Taranee and Nigel, Corny and Caleb, Elyon and Joel, and Alchemy and Martin. Now mind you guys, Irma picked everyone after Will and Matt."
"Figures.", the guys said together.
"Aw, man! I have to head to head home!", Eric said as he checked his watch. "My mom wants me home on time for dinner."
"Same with my mom.", Nigel said as he checked his watch. "I better head home too."
"What time is it anyway?", Matt questioned as he checked his watch. "Whoa! I only have twenty minutes to get to my grandpa's pet shop! I promised him that I'd help him with the deliveries that were coming today! I got to go guys!"
"See ya!", Angelo said as Matt, Eric, and Nigel took off running for home leaving him, Peter, and Caleb in the park.
"So, what do we do know?", Caleb asked.
"I have no idea.", Peter said.
"Well, I'm going to the store to get something and then head back home.", Angelo said. "Cause I'm afraid of what the girls might be trying to get Irma to change about the wedding."
"And with Cornelia anything is possible.", Caleb said as they three of them left the park.
Meanwhile across town, John Vanders was meeting with someone at a resturant taking care of something important. Well, important to him anyway.
"So, can we do this?", John asked the man as as were eating their food. "I have the cash. And I know that there's plenty of room here."
"I don't see why not.", the man said as they finished their food. "This may be fun."
"Then it's settled.", John said as they stood up and shook hands. "You have no idea what this'll mean for all of them."
"It's our pleaseure.", the man said before John paid the bill and left the building.
"That's the main part taken care of.", John said as he got in his car. "Now I just have to take care of everything else."
John then started the car and drove off.
"And I think I know what to do!", he said with a smile.
A/N: Well, Angelo told the others about his dream and they were shocked at what he told them. Let's hope they can pull through in the end. But what of Nerissa being in the dream fighting on their side? Will she really be on their side or is it just a trick to fool them? And what's John up to? Guess you'll have to find out in later chapters.
