Chapter 18:
Soon Friday came and it was the last class for the gang. To bad it was Sex Ed with Mr. Williams. Normally they'd be in the classroom ready for whatever they had to do for their project. Throughout the week, they just had to tell Mr. Williams what they all did as couples. But today they were in the assembly hall where the parents of the classes student were sitting as well.
"So it's true.", Alchemy said.
"What do you mean?", Elyon asked.
"I heard that the parents of students in the other Sex Ed classes all met in the Assembly Hall.", Alchemy explained.
"And we're the last class of the day.", Irma said as she saw her parents sitting with Angelo's Uncle John, along with Kadma, Joe, and Yan Lin along with the parents of the girls and guys.
"This should be fun.", Angelo said as he and the others sat with their parents.
"Can I have your attention please?", Mr. Williams said getting everybody's attention. "As you parents all know, your childern are involved with a speacial project about being married at a young age. This due to certain events that have happened two weeks ago."
"So why are we here?", Mr. Ethel questioned.
"Dad!", Alchemy whined.
"I'm sorry, Alchemy, but this is ridiculous!", Mr. Ethel said standing up. "The only reason the School Board is having the students do this STUPID project is because of Irma and Angelo Vanders getting married. And in my opinion, that's their business! The School Board got off my nerves when I was in school, and they're getting off my nerves now with this crap!"
"You're dad is so cool.", Angelo said to Alchemy making her smile as she looked back at her dad who was sitting back down.
"He's right!", Mrs. Tubbs said as she stood up. "Their parents let them get married. So, that must show they approve of what they have. So, I say leave them be!"
"Thank you Mrs. Tubbs!", Irma said.
Soon, some of the other parents began to voice thier opinions as well. Some were on Irma and Aneglo's side while others weren't.
"You all make good points, but if those two love each other so much, then they should of been able to wait until they turned eightteen!", Mrs. Tomkins said. "It may not look it now, but this could set a bad example for younger students!"
"Mom!", Gina Tomkins said to her mom. "You're embarressing me!"
"Well, it had to be said!", Mrs. Tomkins said as she sat back down.
"I notice that those related to the young couple haven't said anything.", Mr. Williams said.
"There's nothing to sat.", Anna Lair said. "My daughter and son-in-law are happy! And if the School Board is doing this to make a statement, it's not working! Cause from what I've heard none of their fellow students have turned against them!"
The students then clapped after Anna said what she had to say.
"And might I add, the stunt the School Board pulled when they banned my nephew and neice-in-law from Prom, is just plain wrong!", John said having student yelling in agreement.
"Now why were we all asked to come here anyway?", Tom asked getting annoyed with what the School Board has pulled so far. "Like for a few of the people here, this is my day off! Not to mention the beginning of my vacation."
"Very well.", Mr. Williams said as he picked up a remote control. "I asked you all to come here, to show you how the project was going so far."
Mr. Williams then pressed a button on the remote and a large projection screen lowered down along the wall in front of them.
"During the classes this week, I filmed the students and their answers and reactions to the many question that I asked them.", Mr. Williams said as he pressed another button. "And these are your children."
Everyone watched as the video played.
On the Video...
"Okay couples. Once I ask the question, you have at least five miutes to come up with an answer.", Mr. Williams said.
The person holding the camcorder aimed it at the students as they were sitting with the person they were coupled with. They then pointed it at Mr. Williams as he cleared his throat.
"Here's the first question.", he said as he looked down at the paper. "Which collage do you plan on going to?"
The film then flashed to five miutes later.
"So, who will go first?", Mr. Williams asked as he looked out at the sudents in the room to see Taranee raising her hand. "Yes, Mrs. Cook?"
"I hope to go to either Yale or Harvard.", Taranee said proudly on the video.
"That's my girl!", Lione said as he ruffled his daughters hair from the seat he was sitting in, behind Taranee making her blush a little as she smile.
Back on the video, Mr. Williams was looking for another student to answer the question. But out of all the students that were raising their hands, he decided to ask one of the few students that didn't have there hands raised.
"How about you, Angelo?", Mr. Williams questioned. "Which collage do you plan on going to?"
"Now this is where I'm thinking 'Why ask me when ther are other students with their hands raised.'.", Angelo whispered to Irma.
"And then you say...", Irma said knowing what was coming.
One the video...
"Well, I hope that me and my wife end up going to the same college.", Angelo said as he and Irma were looking at each other smiling.
"And I guess your wife feels the same way.", Mr. Williams said in a somewhat bored tone.
"Uh-huh.", Irma said as she and Angelo continued to smile at each other.
"Aaaaaw!", the students and some of the parents said as they watched the video.
"I meant that, you know.", Angelo said to Irma.
"Me too.", Irma said.
Back on the video...
"That's all well and good, but what if you two end up in different colleges?", Mr. Williams asked Angelo and Irma.
"And this is when we have our fun.", irma said as she and Angelo were watching the video.
"Man did we have fun.", Angelo said with a grin.
"To much if you ask me.", Will said with a smirk.
Back on the video...
"Well, if we end up in different colleges, we'll just be in different colleges.", Irma said. "It may be tough at first, but we'll make it work."
"So, you two would be will to be apart for up to four years?", Mr. Williams asked.
"We may not like it, but yeah.", Angelo said. "This is our education we're talking about. Besides, we'll have the holidays to be together. And if our colleges are close together, we can visit each other every other weekend."
Mr. Williams said nothing as he went to asking other students what collees they were going too. After a few minutes, the video flashed to the next day.
"Okay, kids. Today we're going into an important subject.", Mr. Williams said as he stood in front of his desk. "Safe sex."
Irma suddenly, busted out laughing which caused their friends and other students to laugh. Mr. Williams then blew his whistle to get the students attention.
"This is a serious subject!", Mr. Williams said. "It's no secret that some of you are thinking about sex, seeing as Prom is next week! So, I figure that's it's best you know about the dangers of unprotected sex."
Everyone was silent, he standing before them.
"Now, as I was saying.", Mr. William said as he looked around the classroom at the students. "As you all know, it's around this time of year, most students think about having sex seeing as it's Prom time."
"Excuse me, sir.", Taranee said as she raised her hand. "Should you be talking about this to us. If anything you should be trying to get us not to have sex."
"That's my girl!", Theresa said proudly making Taranee smile.
Back on the video...
"I would, Ms. Cook, but let's be honest.", Mr. Williams. "Due to certain events, I doubt anyone would listen to me talk about not having sex."
"And this is where we have our fun.", Irma whispered as she and Angelo continued to watch the video.
"Oh yeah!", Angelo whispered with a grin.
Back on the video...
"And what events would that be, sir?", Elyon asked in an innocent voice.
"Why I think he's talking about Irma and Angelo getting married.", Cornelia replied.
"Really?", Irma questioned. "I didn't know it was that big of a deal."
"I know.", Angelo said. "Couples get married all the time."
"But not at your age.", Will said.
"Most wait until they are adults.", Matt added.
"This is true.", Irma said. "But I love Angelo."
"And I love Irma.", Angelo said. "And we're happy."
"Very happy.", Irma said.
"So, you say.", Mr. Willians said. "Well, seeing as we're talking about safe sex, do you two use it?"
"Ooooooooh!", the students said after hearing that.
"Did he just ask what I think he asked?", Tom questioned.
"Yep!", Irma said.
"That's just wrong!", Susan said.
"But wait!", Angelo said. "Here's the fun part!"
Back on the video...
After Mr. Williams asked his question, Angelo and Irma looked at each other somewhat surprised. They then smirked at each other and cracked their knuckles as they looked back at Mr. Williams.
"First of all, Mr. Williams, what me and my wife do in the privacy of our home is our business!", Angelo said. "Not yours!"
"You go boy!", Hay Lin cheered earning a few laughs from the other students in the class.
"Second, we all know the reason you're asking all these questions is to try and bug us!", Irma replied. "It's quiet immature if you ask me!"
The view of the camera shifted to Mr. Williams, who was quite surprised with what Irma said, seeing as she was the one to be quite immature sometimes.
"I have a question, Mr. Wiliams.", Taranee said getting Mr. Williams' attention as she raised her hand.
"What is it, Ms. Cook?", Mr. Williams asked with a tired sigh.
"You asked Angelo and Irma if they use safe sex.", she said. "Shouldn't you of asked if they've had sex at all?"
"That is the proper question to ask.", Will said.
'You should know if we do, Taranee!', Irma said to her telepathiclly with a grin.
'Like I said before, bad timing on my part.', Taranee said with a grin.
"So, you think me and Irma are some sex hungry maniacs?", Angelo questioned pretending that his feelings were hurt. "That hurts, Mr. Williams! That just hurts!"
"I apologize.", Mr. Willimas said. "I should of asked the proper question."
"Thank you.", Irma said calmly.
"So, I'll ask it now.", Mr. Williams said. "Do you two have sex?"
"Are you assuming that me and my husband don't have sex?", Irma asked. "I mean we are a married couple after all."
"So, you do have sex.", Mr. Williams said thinking he had the upper-hand.
"Well, of course we do!", Angelo said. "We are a married couple after all. I mean look at my wife! She is very good looking!"
"Thank you, husband.", Irma said with a smile and a blush. "You're very good looking, too."
"Thank you, wife.", Angelo said smiling. "I don't know why he would ask me if we made love."
"Maybe he doesn't think Irma good looking enough.", Elyon said with a smirk.
"You don't think my wife is beautiful?", Angelo questioned.
"That's terrible!", Hay Lin said playing along. "And mean!"
"That's cold man!", Eric said.
"I can't believe he said that!", Nigel said.
"It's a dang shame!", Matt said.
"Y-Y-You don't think I'm pretty?", Irma questioned pretending to be hurt as she made her eyes water.
"N-n-no!", Mr. Williams said nervously as he shook his head. "I think you're very attractive! It's just-"
"Hold up!", Angelo shouted as he stood up from his desk. "You're a grown man and you find my wife, who like me is a teenager, attractive? Oh you're just sick!"
"She's only sixteen, sir!", Taranee said playing along with the others.
"I can't believe I'm hearing this!", Cornelia said.
"I didn't know you were like this, Mr. Williams!", Will said pretending to be shocked. "I'm... I'm... I'm shocked!"
"So, this is why you became a Sex Ed teacher!", Matt said. "That's just twisted man!"
"I wouldn't be surprised you were undressing my wife with your eyes right now!", Angelo said. "Cover youself woman!"
"You prevert!", Irma screamed as she jumped up from her desk and covered herself playing along.
Soon the other students were getting in on the act as the girls of the class were doing what Irma was doing.
"Now see here!", Mr. Williams said with a red face, having enough of what the students were doing.
Just then the bell rang signaling the end of class.
"Whoop, there's the bell!", Angelo said with a smile as he and Irma grabbed their bags. "Got to go!"
"See ya!", Irma said smiling as they, along with their friends, left the classroom laughing.
Mr. Williams just stood there not knowing what to think. He then turned towards the guy holding the camrea.
"Turn that thing off!", Mr. Williams snapped as he reached out to the camrea.
The video then went black. Mr. Williams then stood in front of the large projection screen looking out at the students and the parents that were assembled in the assembly hall. At first no one said nothing. But Mr. Williams saw that some of the parents were holding back their laughter along with the students. But then Anna Lair busted out laughing at what she saw. Soon her husband, Tom, started laughing as well, along with all the parents of the Guardian and their boyfriends. As well as the parents of their close friends along with the other parents that were there. Mr. Williams just stood there waiting for everyone to calm down. After a few minutes, everyone had calmed down, allowing Mr. Williams to speak.
"As you saw, some of the students weren't taking the lessons well.", Mr. Williams said.
"I've had enough of this!", Chen Lin said as he stood up. "Be honest, Mr. Williams! This whole project you have the our children doing is because of Irma and Angelo Vanders getting married. Just like Mr. Ethel said."
"Thank you!", Mr. Ethel said.
"It's rather stupid if you ask me!", John Vanders said.
"Is it now?", Mr. Williams questioned.
"Yes it is!", Susan said as she stood up. "Isn't it bad enough you banned Angelo and Irma from Prom, which is just plain stupid!"
"And one more thing!", Anna said as she stood. "Last I checked, me and my husband allowed my daughrt to marry Angelo! And if you want to know why, I'll tell you!"
"Oh please do tell me why you allowed your teenage daughter to marry her boyfriend!", Mr. Williams said with a sneer in his voice.
"It's because they love each other!", Kadma snapped as she stood up from her seat.
"Oh-oh!", Angelo, John, and Joe said.
"Oh-oh?", Irma questioned.
"Just watch.", Angelo said. "If you think Corny has a temper, you ain't seen nothing yet!"
"Hey!", Cornelia whispered to Angelo. "Don't call me Corny!"
"Oh, brother.", Angelo grinned while rolling his eyes.
"And another thing!", Kadma said as she walked towards Mr. Williams. "If Irma's partents along with Angelo's Uncle, my husband, and myself didn't approve of those two getting married, then it wouldn't of happened!"
Now Kadma was face to face with Mr. Williams, who looked like a deer caught in the headlights!
"So, you can go and take this message to the school board!", Kadma said as she poked Mr. Williams in his chest. "Back off! What our family does is our business! If you all don't like it then that's just to bad for you! Do I make myself clear?"
"Y-Yes, Ma'am.", Mr. Williams said softly.
"I can't hear you!", Kadma yelled.
"Y-Y-Yes, Ma'am!", Mr. Williams said louder and nervously.
"Good!", Kadma said as she turned around and walked back to her seat earning cheers from the students.
"Way to go, mom!", John said with a grin.
"That's my Grandma!", Angelo said with a smile.
"I love that woman!", Joe said smiling.
"Wow!", Irma said with a smile. "I didn't know Kadma had it in her!"
"She was an Earth Guardian, Irma!", Yan Lin whispered to her. "They're known for their tempers."
"Really now?", Will questioned as she, Elyon, Taranee, Irma, and Hay Lin looked at Cornelia.
"What?", Cornelai asked as seh saw them looking at her.
"Nothing.", the girls said as they looked another way.
Just then the bell rang, signaling the end of the school day.
"And we're out!", Angelo said as everybody exited the assembly hall.
Once everyone was out of the school, Irma said goodbye to her parents, seeing as they were leaving for the vacation they needed to go on.
"Are you two sure you can handle Chris?", Anna asked Angelo and Irma. "It's not to late to call your aunt and drop him off there."
"Mom, relax!", Irma said. "We can handle Chris!"
"You just focus on relaxing and having fun.", Angelo said. "We can handle Chris."
"You heard them, Anna.", Tom said with a smile. "They know what they're doing. Now let's get going!"
"Call us if you need anything.", Anna said as she hugged Irma and Angelo.
"We will.", Irma said as her parent got in the family van. "See ya next Friday!"
"See you!", Anna and Tom said before Tom drove off.
As they drove off, a happy yet worried smile on her face. Tom noticed this a smiled.
"Don't worry, Anna.", Tom said. "Irma and Angelo can handle Chris. Everything will be okay."
"I guess you're right.", Anna said as her smile grew. "I should just relax and enjoy our vacation."
"That's right.", Tom said. "A whole week of rest and relaxation."
"And we'll be back in time for what John said what he was going to do.", Anna said with a smile. "I still can't believe he was able to pull it off!"
"Me neither.", Tom said. "But he did. I wonder how Irma and Angelo will react when it all goes down."
"I think they'll be very happy.", Anna said smiling as Tom drove down the road and out of the city of Heatherfield.
A/N: Well, that was a fun Sex Ed class they had. And Mr. Williams learned that you don't mess with a Vanders and those close to them. Or you'll face Kadma! Now Tom and Anna are leaving for their vacation, while Irma and Angelo will be watching Chris. For a week! This should be good! But what does John have planned? And will Angelo and Irma really like it?
