Chapter 26:
The next day, Irma and Angelo dropped Chris off at his school where Maggie was waiting for him. Of course this didn't sit well with Lillian as she watched Chris and Maggie walk into school.
"Behave, Lillian.", Cornelia said to her little sister.
"I will.", Lillian said as she headed into school.
"Hey, Corny!? Need a lift!?", Irma asked her friend.
"Yeah, sure! And don't call me Corny!", Cornelia said before saying goodbye to her father before heading for Angelo's car.
"What's up, guys?", Cornelia asked as she got in the back of Angelo's car.
"You have no idea.", Irma said as Angelo drove to Sheffield.
Meanwhile, on the world of Kurot, our villains were eating their breakfast in the Dining Hall waiting for the news of the Lurdens return to the palace.
"I have to say that those Lurdens were able to make their way out of the palace quickly.", Crimson said. "They are most intelligent."
"They are easy to train.", Frost said. "You just have to show them who's boss."
"Well, they'll be back soon and see that this palace is the safest place to be.", Crimson replied before eating some of his meal.
"And why is that, my friend?", Phobos asked.
"The land this palace is built on is surrounded by mountains that keep some of this world's most dangerous creatures that walk on land. Hundreds of years ago there was a powerful group of warriors who wanted to test their might, so they began to build this palace. Those that followed these warriors helped build this palace.", Crimson explained. "When they were done, they found those willing to be servants in this palace seeing as the warriors planted special plants around the palace and the city outside the palace that keeps this land's creatures away from it. And I mean far away."
"Most impressive.", Cedric said. "This place not only keeps the wildlife at bay but any of your enemies won't come here for fear of the wildlife."
"Truly a great defence for you.", Phobos replied.
"Indeed.", Crimson said. "The people who live around here live a peaceful life and without worry of attack."
"Which makes them most loyal to you seeing as you're the new master of this place.", Nerissa said with a smirk.
"Indeed.", Crimson said. "I rule well without any problem from the people here."
"Yet you're willing to risk it all to rescue your family.", Phobos replied.
"Yes.", Crimson said. "I was only a child when they were defeated and sealed away on Kandrakar. I've trained for many years to rescue them. And that is what I plan on doing.", he said when one of the servants came into the room.
"Sir. The creatures hat were brought here last night have returned.", the servant said with a bow. "And they look rather tired and beaten."
"Thank you.", Crimson said as he finished his meal and wiped his mouth. "Have some food prepared and brought out to them."
"Yes, Sir.", the servant said with a bow before leaving.
"Shall we go welcome our Lurden home?", Crimson questioned as he got up and left the room with his allies.
Back on Earth, Angelo had just pulled up to Sheffield and parked his car as he and Irma told her about what happened last night with Maggie and what they talked about with her parents.
"I still can't believe Maggie and Lillian were friends.", Cornelia said as they got out of the car. "I'd tell the twerp off about how she did Maggie, but I'm willing to go along with your idea."
"Thanks. Now we just have to hope it works.", Irma said as they headed towards the school where the others were waiting.
"Hey, guys!", Hay Lin said to them as they walked up to them.
"Hey, Hay-Hay!", Irma said to her best friend before she turned to her husband. "Catch you later.", she said before they shared a kiss.
"Later.", Angelo said before Irma headed inside to do her job at K-SHIP.
"You know, I almost envy you two.", Will said to Angelo.
"How so?", Angelo asked.
"Well, you and Irma got to live eight years together on another world.", Will began to explain. "Four of which you two spent as a married couple. And now you two return as teenagers and still get to live together in your own apartment."
"I feel bless to be so lucky.", Angelo said. "And I thank the good Lord for letting it happen."
"I wonder how my parents would react it all of that had happened to me and Eric.", Hay Lin began to ponder.
"My mom would so freak out.", Taranee replied.
"Your mom? Please.", Nigel said. "My mom would faint come to, and then faint again once she saw that she wasn't dreaming."
"To be honest, I thought that Irma's parents would have freaked out about the whole thing.", Cornelia replied.
"You and me both.", Angelo said. "I thought Anna would have slapped me while Tom would have tried to choke the life out of me."
"Anna?", Eric questioned.
"Tom?", Cassidy questioned.
"First name bases with the in-laws I see.", Matt said.
"Weird, huh?", Angelo questioned with a grin. "So anything on Crimson and company?"
"Not a thing.", Will said. "Where ever they are they're hidden, they're hidden good."
"Is it always like this when you have a new enemy out there?", Nigel asked.
"Pretty much.", Taranee said. "If we can't find them then we just wait for them to strike and hope we can defeat them."
"Or at least weaken them enough to find them and kick their butts.", Cornelia added.
"But what gets me is the dream you told us about.", Joel said. "I mean, if this Crimson guy is the bad guy, then why weren't those of you who could transform not transformed?"
"Maybe we should ask my Grandma and Kadma.", Hay Lin suggested.
"Worth a shot.", Will said.
"Then we ask them after school.", Angelo said. "They may know something.", he said getting a nod from the others.
"Or we could ask them to meet us here during Lunch.", Hay Lin suggested.
"That could also work.", Will said as the bell rang.
"And with that, it's off to classes.", Mat said as they all headed into the school just as Irma began to do the school announcements.
"I'll call Grandma and ask her and Kadma to come here during Lunch.", Hay Lin said as she pulled out her cell phone and began to call her grandmother.
Now on the world of Kurot, Crimson, Phobos, Nerissa, Cedric, Miranda and Frost stood before the five Lurdens that were brought there last night. All five were battered and bruised with some scratches here and there. They were tired and weak from their night in the wild running and fighting off the wildlife there.
"If you would take the form of a Lurden again, Miranda.", Crimson said to the female Shape-shifter.
Nodding to Crimson, Miranda transformed into a female Lurden gaining the attention of the five Lurdens.
"Tell them that what they went through last night was only a taste of the danger this world has to offer.", Crimson said. "And that they are safer here where we can make them stronger. As long as they do what we say."
Miranda then told them what Crimson had said. To this the Lurdens all nodded letting Crimson know that the Lurdens were ready for the next step. He then fires a small beam of energy at each of the Lurdens surprising his allies.
"What are you doing!?", Phobos questioned.
"Wait and watch.", Crimson said while looking at the Lurdens who were on their hands and knees.
As for the Lurdens, the reason why they were on their hands and knees was because, they were going through something of a change in their minds. For the beam Crimson shot at the Lurden went to their heads. And in those beams was a bit of Crimson's knowledge of fighting that the Lurdens's minds were accepting well. When the process was done, the Lurdens stood tall and ready for their first order.
"Now, they are ready.", Crimson said with a proud smile.
"What did you do to them?", Nerissa asked.
"I simply gave them a bit of my fighting knowledge.", Crimson explained. "And now I shall train them in my ATZ. Any of you are free to come with."
"I could use the training.", Frost said as he cracked his knuckles.
"As could I.", Nerissa replied.
"Very well.", Crimson said. "Then let us go and train these Lurdens.", he said as they all headed for the doorway to the ATZ leaving the rest of them to do whatever they felt like doing.
"What to do.", Phobos said as he took to the sky. "I believe I shall test my skills on the wildlife here.", he said before flying off.
"Which will give us ample time to spy on our enemies.", Cedric said to Miranda with a smirk that she returned as they left to prepare for what they had planned.
Back on Earth, Kadma and Yan Lin had come to Sheffield at Hay Lin's request, both wondering why they were called there.
"Okay, Hay Lin. Why call us here when you could have waited until after school?", Yan Lin asked her grand-daughter as she and Kadma sat with th young heroes and their friends on a bench under a tree for shade.
"Well, we've been thinking about Angelo's dream.", Hay Lin began to explain. "And the main thing that's been bugging us is that fact that, our enemies are on Earth and that those of us that can transform, aren't transformed."
"Ah. I see.", Yan Lin said. "Quite the problem indeed."
"So any ideas?", Taranee asked.
"Well, we figured that your enemies will be coming to Earth in a peaceful manner.", Kadma said.
"Why would they do that, knowing we'd go after them?", Matt questioned.
"Because it's a law among the Known Worlds that states if one visits another world in a peaceful manner, they can't be touched.", Yan Lin explained.
"So it's like having Diplomatic Immunity.", Joel said getting a nod from Kadma.
"Only in this case, if they do anything wrong, they can be busted.", Yan Lin replied.
"Which we know they won't do until they feel that the time is right.", Caleb figured.
"Now as for why those of you who can transformed weren't transformed in Angelo's dream, that could be because you all are trying to keep your secret lives as secret as possible.", Kadma explained. "And to that I say don't do it. When the time comes go all out. There may be too much at stake for you all to hold back."
"No argument there.", Irma said.
"Okay. So let's say that Crimson and company do plan on revealing themselves to Earth in a peaceful manner", Cornelia said. "Do you think Phobos would out Elyon as his sister?", she asked getting a look of shock from Elyon.
"Perhaps.", Yan Lin said. "But then again, he may not as to keep much attention on himself."
"So in other words, Elyon has nothing to fear.", Irma joked getting a small laugh out of the others
"All joking aside, you all should be on your guard.", Kadma said. "They may still try to spy on you all not to mention test your metal. So to speak. Remember what Cedric did to Hay Lin and Eric."
"Don't remind me.", Eric said thinking back to that day.
"I mean no insult.", Kadma said to him. "I'm only say that you all should be careful. For I have a feeling that things will get worse before they get better.", she finished just as the bell rang.
"And now it's back to classes.", Taranee said.
"Oh joy.", Will said sarcastically.
"See, ya later, Grandma!", Hay Lin said as she hugged Yan Lin.
"Later, Kiddo!", Yan Lin said returning the hug.
"Thanks for coming, Grandma K.", Angelo said as he and Kadma shared a hug.
"Anytime, Angelo.", Kadma said before Irma joined in on the hug.
"Later, Granny K!", Irma said.
"I got your Granny K!", Kadma joked as she ruffeld Irma's hair before she left with Yan Lin.
"Do you really think they'll try to come here peacefully?" Yan Lin asked her friend referring to Crimson and his allies.
"I wouldn't put it past them.", Kadma said as they were walking towards her car. "We can only hope and pray that our grandchildren and their friends are ready for whatever comes their way."
"On that I'm not worried about, my friend.", Yan Lin said.
"Neither am I, old friend.", Kadma said. "Neither am I."
"Who you calling old?", Yan Lin questioned with a smirk. "I'm a young fifty!", she said getting a laugh out of Kadma.
But what none of them knew was that they were all being spied on by Cedric and Miranda who took the forms of a green humming-bird and a black raven.
'So they have a good idea of what we have planned.', Miranda said to Cedric through their telepathic link.
'So it would seem.', Cedric replied. 'We should tell this to the others.', he said as they flew off from the school.
Later that evening, on Kurot, Cedric and Miranda informed their allies about what they found out.
"I figured as much.", Crimson said. "But this can play into our plans."
"How so?", Frost asked.
"When we reveal ourselves to Earth, the Guardians leader will be shocked to find out that her own father is introducing us to Earth.", Crimson began to explain. "When she sees this, she'll want to tell him the truth about us."
"But we'll threaten to do her father harm if she or anybody else does this.", Phobos figured with a smirk that Crimson returned. "A very good plan indeed."
"Her friends will back off to protect the Keeper's father which will give us enough time to win the love the people.", Cedric replied. "And what better way to do that is to become their heroes."
"What of the Lurdens?", Miranda questioned.
"When they reach the level of power I feel comfortable with, we can send them back to Metamoor to gather more Lurdens to train for us.", Crimson explained. "And when the time is right, we'll strike and give our enemies the fight of their lives!"
"And we all will get what we want!", Phobos said with a sinister smile.
'Yes.', Crimson sad. 'What we all want.'
Days passed and it was finally Friday. Which meant that one, it was the last day for the female students, that were taking Sex Ed, to be rid of those belly packs. And it was also a half a day due to the fact that it was Prom Night. Unfortunately, Irma and Angelo were banned from Prom, but they still decided to go all out and get prepared for a romantic evening. Right now, Irma as well as any of the other female students that were taking Sex Ed were turning in their belly packs.
"Good riddance!", Cornelia said as she dropped her belly pack in the box it came in followed by Alchemy.
"So long belly!", Will said doing the same thing.
"I hope not to have a belly like that for a looooooong time!", Elyon said as she dropped her belly pack in the box followed by Taranee and Hay Lin who were glad to be rid of their belly packs.
And finally there was one Irma Vanders who was the last one to turn in her belly pack. As she walked up to one of the boxes the packs came in, she could see the smug look on Mr. Williams' face knowing he was thinking about how she and her husband were banned from Prom and how she would have something smart to say. But this was a different Irma. And she proved it by simply dropping her belly pack into the box and walking off with her head held high.
"What? No smart remark, Mrs. Vanders? No joke?", Mr. Williams questioned causing Irma to stop in her tracks. "I figured you'd have at least a joke or two to give us."
"As fun as it would be to bust out a joke or two, I have to go and prepare for a romantic night with my husband.", Irma said in a calm and friendly voice. "We may not be going to Prom, but that doesn't mean we can't have a good time tonight.", she said as Angelo walked up to her.
"So in other words, you and the School Board didn't really win.", Angelo said. "And if the School Board goes and bans us from our Senior Prom, we'll still have a great time that night as well. Good day, Mr. Williams.", he said as he offered his arm to his wife who took it as they walked off with their friends.
"Good for you, Mr. & Mrs. Vanders.", Mr. Williams said as a small smile formed on his face. "Good for you."
What he didn't know was that a certain student heard him. Around Noon, it was the end of school seeing as it was a half day. Our young heroes waited no time leaving school to get ready for Prom. Well, those that were going. But they all decided to do what they planned to do to get ready for Prom.
"First stop is the salon for us girls.", Cornelia said ready to have her hair done.
"And the barber shop for us guys.", Matt said.
"Not for me.", Angelo said. "I'm heading to the salon with the girl."
"Same here.", Peter said.
"Say what now?", Nigel questioned.
"Barber shop doesn't do dreads.", Peter explained as he pointed to his hair which he had his dreads undone so his hair could breath just like Angelo did.
"So it's off to the salon.", Angelo said. "It sounds so weird saying that."
"But it has to be done.", Peter said. "The things we do to look good."
"Hold up!", Cornelia said. "That's our line!", she said getting a laugh out of the girls as Hay Lin came walking up to them with Eric.
"What's so funny?", Eric asked.
"We'll tell you later.", Matt said. "You ready to hit the barber shop?"
"Yeah.", Eric said. "But first, you guys won't believe what Hay Lin overheard earlier today!"
"What did you overhear?", Will asked her friend.
"Well...", Hay Lin began to say as she remembered what had happened earlier.
Flashback

"Get out!", Taranee said surprised by what Hay Lin told them.
"I will not!", Hay Lin said proudly while smiling.
"Who'd of thought Mr. Williams would side with us.", Angelo said.
"Think it was what your grandmother said to him last Friday?", Caleb asked.
"Never know.", Angelo said. "But hey! The more on our side the merrier."
"Amen to that.", Irma said in agreement. "Now let's go get ourselves pampered!"
And so as most of the guys went to the barber shop for their haircuts, the girls along with Peter and Angelo went to the salon. Once there, they all took their seats ready to have what they needed done. Peter sat in between his sister and Cassidy, while Angelo was in between Irma and Will.
"I still can't believe you two are here to get your dreads done.", Taranee said to her brother and Angelo.
"It was either this, or go to Prom with an afro.", Peter said.
"And as funny as going to Prom with an afro is, I'd rather go with dreads.", Angelo replied.
"Besides. Aren't you getting your hair done in dreads?", Peter asked his sister.
"I thought about it and decided not to.", Taranee said. "I don't have enough hair.", she said as hair dresser at her chair began to wash her hair.
"Well, I just want a good washing for my hair to go along with a manicure and pedicure.", Cassidy replied.
"I believe that all of us are getting a manicure and pedicure.", Cornelia said as she relaxed herself as her hair dresser began her thing.
"All but the guys, that is.", Will said with a grin getting a laugh out of the other girls.
"Dang straight!", Angelo said.
"Awwwww... But I think you two would look great with a manicure and pedicure.", Hay Lin joked.
"Not going to happen.", Peter said as his hair dresser was doing his dreadlocks.
"Don't you two have to pick up Chris later today?", Hay Lin asked Irma and Angelo.
"Not today.", Irma said. "My mom called this morning letting us know that she and dad have returned home."
"So we can take our time and get ready for tonight.", Angelo said. "So I say we kick back and let the hair dressers do their thing."
"Now you're talking.", Will said as she, like the others, was getting her hair done.
A while later, all of them got their hair done and paid their bill. Angelo and Peter then went to meet up with the guys while the girls went to the Vanders' apartment building to finish preparing for Prom. As for Angelo and the guys, you couldn't tell by looking at them, but they got some good hair cuts. And as much as they wanted to hang out, they all knew they had to head home and get ready for their special night. Well... all but two. But Angelo and Irma Vanders still had a special evening planned. But right now, the guys had gotten their tuxedos for Prom and were now at the local diner waiting on their meals that they ordered.
"I can't believe you got a cane and top hat with your tux.", Matt said to Angelo as they were waiting on their food.
"I would have gotten a monacal with it as well, but they ran out.", Angelo said getting a laugh out of the guys. "Besides. Eric got a top hat and cane with his white tux, too."
"Hay Lin's going to flip when she sees it!", Eric said as two waitresses came up to them with their orders.
"Here's your orders.", one of the waitresses said as she and the other waitress placed the food on the tables the guys were sitting at. "Enjoy your meal."
"Thank you.", the guys said before saying grace and eating their food.
"I still can't believe that I'm going to Prom at the age of twenty-one.", Peter said as he sipped some of his soda. "I mean, I'm graduated college for crying out loud!"
"The things you do for the woman you love.", Angelo said. "Even when she's three years younger than you.", he said with a grin.
"Well, at least this is Cassidy's Senior year.", Peter said.
"So, besides Angelo, do any of you guys plan on... you know. Doing... it?", Joel asked getting the attention of the guys.
"I have no idea.", Matt said. "I mean Will and I talked about it. A LOT!"
"And?", Nigel asked.
"And... we decided to see how the night goes.", Matt answered. "I have some condoms just in case."
"That's the best thing you can do.", Angelo said as he bit into his sandwich.
"So have you and Cassidy...", Nigel began to ask Peter.
"Nope.", Peter said surprising all but Angelo and Matt. "What?"
"Well, we figured that seeing as you're twenty-one...", Martin said.
"Tha I've had sex.", Peter finished. "Sorry fellas. But I'm still a virgin. And so is Cassidy, who's eighteen. Heck! I'm only five years older than Taranee and I know she hasn't had sex."
"True.", Nigel said. "But..."
"You've been talking about it.", Peter finished.
"How...?", Nigel began to question.
"She's been asking me about it.", Peter explained. "And she too was surprised to find out that I was a virgin."
"I'm going to take a wild guess and say that all of you talked with your girlfriends about having sex at Prom.", Angelo said getting nods from the guys. "Okay then."
"You're going to give same kind of speech?", Caleb asked.
"Nope.", Angelo said. "I say do what you and your girl feel is right."
"That's it?", Nigel questioned.
"That's it.", Angelo said. "But know that if you have sex, there's no undoing it. So make sure that you're ready for this tonight."
"That's the same thing my father told me when I talked to him about it.", Caleb replied.
"Same with my dad when I asked him years ago.", Peter said. "Followed by, if you get her pregnant, you better take care of her and the baby."
"Dude, that's what every father tells their son.", Martin replied getting some laughs out of the guys.
"I have a feeling that tonight will be a night to remember.", Eric said as he raised his glass.
"Here! Here!", the guys said as they raised their glasses and clanged them together before finishing their meals.
Once they finished their food, they paid their bills and left for their homes to go get ready for Prom. Of course this had Angelo and Caleb heading for the apartment building they stayed in. Once there, they were walking up the set of stairs that led to the second floor of the building, when they suddenly heard a familiar scream.
"Taranee!?", Caleb questioned before he and Angelo dashed up the stairs.
Once up the stairs, Angelo opened the door to see that the girls along with the mothers of W.I.T.C.H. were sitting in the Living Room of the second floor dressed in nothing but robes with four young women dressed in tan shorts, blue short-sleeve shirts and white sneakers.
"Hey, guys.", Hay Lin said with a beaming smile before one of the young women quickly pulled off what looked like a wax strip off her leg causing the young Air Guardian to let out a scream.
"What the heck!?", Caleb questioned. "What are you all doing?"
"Getting some waxing done.", Theresa said before a woman pulled a small strip from her eyebrow. "OW!"
"Waxing?", Caleb questioned.
"Some some people do to remove hair from parts of their bodies.", Angelo explained.
"I thought one shaved for that.", Caleb replied.
"True, but waxing makes sure the hair doesn't grow back for a very long time.", Elizabeth replied before a woman pulled a strip from her leg making her scream.
"It looks painful.", Caleb replied.
"Painful but worth it.", Susan said.
"Where's Taranee?", Angelo asked. "We heard her screaming when we were coming up here."
"She's in the Den with Cornelia and Irma.", Joan answered when a scream came from the Den.
"Cornelia!", Caleb yelled as he headed for the Den.
"Caleb, wait!", Will said as she jumped in front of Caleb. "She's okay!"
"But I just heard her..."
"Trust me, Caleb, Cornelia is okay.", Elizabeth said when another scream was heard from the Den.
"And that would be Irma.", Angelo said. "I'm guessing that they're getting that 'special' waxing done.", he said getting a nod from Will. "I'm guessing that some of you already got it done or are waiting to get it done."
"Pretty much.", Cassidy said with a shiver when they heard Taranee scream again.
"If it's just waxing that they're getting done, then why do they have to go into another room to get it done?", Caleb asked getting odd looks from the waxers.
"He's new to the whole waxing thing.", Elyon said to them who only nodded.
"Caleb. The area they're getting waxed is private.", Anna tried to explain to Caleb who only raised a confused eyebrow before he suddenly realised what she was talking about.
"Ooooooooh.", Caleb said. "Does it really hurt that badly?", he asked before he heard Cornelia scream again. "Never mind.", he said before heading up to the fourth floor where his apartment was.
"I think he handled that pretty well.", Alchemy said before Angelo headed for the Den.
"What do you think you're doing?", Susan questioned.
"I'm not going in.", Angelo said. "I'm just going to say hello to my woman.", he said as he knocked on the door. "Hey, Baby!"
"Angelo?", Irma questioned. "When did you get back?"
"A few minutes ago.", Angelo said. "How you doing in there?"
"I'm doing... YEOW!", as a strip was pulled off with some hair. "Okay.", she said with a sob.
"I would come in there to comfort you..."
"YOU BETTER NOT!", Taranee and Cornelia yelled.
"But, I know you're not alone in there.", Angelo said. "Geez! Relax you two! You need to be glad Will stopped Caleb from busting in there. Dude heard you scream, Corny, and was ready to come 'save you'."
"Oh brother.", Cornelia said. "Don't call me Corny!", she said before a strip was pulled. "YEOW!"
"Priceless!", Angelo grinned. "Any way, I'll see you upstairs, Babe."
"See ya!", Irma said when a strip was pulled off of Taranee.
"OW!", she cried.
"And with that, I'll leave you ladies to do what you do.", Angelo said as he headed upstairs to get some rest. "Happy waxing."
Sometime later, Irma, Taranee, and Cornelia came out of the Den in their robes looking weak.
"Next!", called out one fo the two waxer women said letting the others know that they were ready for their waxing.
"Our turn.", Will said a she along with Susan and Alchemy headed into the Den.
"That was one of the most painful things I've ever done.", Taranee said as she sat next to her mother.
"Painful but worth it.", Irma said sitting next to her mother.
"It'll be a long time before I do that again.", Cornelia said as she sat next to her mother. "The things we do for our men."
"No one held a gun to your head and told you to do this.", Elizabeth grinned. "You decided to get some waxing done down there."
"And none of you are even sure that you going to do 'it' tonight.", Joan said with a grin.
"Mom!", Hay Lin whined.
"Well it's true.", Joan said.
"Well... We're just doing it so we'll look good just in case.", Elyon said with a blush when they heard Will scream from within the Den.
"Do you think your boyfriends really care about what your Hoo-Haa's look like when they first see it?", Anna questioned.
"Nope.", Irma said getting odd looks from her friends. "What!? Angelo didn't care. He was just as nervous as I was to be making love for the first time. And believe me that took a lot of pressure off of me."
"You could have told us that before we decided to do this.", Elyon said.
"I tried, but none of you would listen.", Irma said in a calm yet dull tone getting a laugh out of the mothers before the waxing continued.
After all the waxing was done, the ladies that didn't live there paid the bill got dressed and headed home for the girls had to get ready for Prom. After saying goodbye to her mother, Irma headed up to her apartment like Cassidy to get ready for her romantic evening. Once in her apartment, Irma saw that Angelo was sleeping on the couch and decided to take her shower. She made sure to wear a shower cap to keep her hairdo from getting messed up. Once she got cleaned up she woke Angelo up so he could take his shower. When he got cleaned up, he got dressed in his tux and was ready to go. Angelo was dressed in a black tuxedo with a tail. With the tux was a black top hat, shoes, and cane that had a silver dragon handle. On the jacket of the tux was a white lily boutonnire. He then looked over at his wife and what she was wearing. Irma was wearing a teal strapless dress with matching mid-heeled shoes. The dress had a slit going up its right leg and up to the center of Irma's thigh to which she had black sheer stockings. Around her neck was the same silver angel necklace Angelo gave her on her birthday along with a pearl necklace her mother gave her with a thing of pearl earrings. On her left wrist was a white lily corsage. As she looked in the full body mirror they had in their bedroom, Irma couldn't help but smile at how she looked. But soon that smile turned into a frown as she realised that she wouldn't be able to spend Prom with her friends. It was then that a set of loving arms wrapped around her from behind to give her comfort.
"You look great.", Angelo said making his wife smile.
"So do you.", Irma said as she placed her hands over his. "I just wish that we could be with the others."
"So do I.", Angelo said. "But at least we can spend the weekend with them at the hotel."
"I know.", Irma said. "But it still sucks.", she said.
"I know.", Angelo said as he kissed her on the cheek. "Come on. We still have to get to the hotel. Where we can eat our dinner and dance in the ballroom with the other people there."
"How do you know there'll be dancing there?", Irma asked.
"Well, when I made reservations to have dinner there, the person I was talking to said something about there being music being there tonight.", Angelo explained. "So, we'll be doing some dancing tonight after all.", he said making Irma smile before she gave him a loving kiss. "I take it that you're happy."
"Well, DUH!", Irma said making a goofy face getting a laugh out of Angelo.
"Shall we, Mrs. Vanders?", Angelo asked as he offered his arm to his wife.
"Yes we shall, Mr. Vanders.", Irma said as she linked her arm with Angelo's.
Once at the door to their apartment, Angelo took the white long coat he had for Irma and helped her put it on. He then put on a black coat and the two of them left to catch the limo that was hopefully outside for them. Once outside, they saw that both of their families were outside waiting for them.
"What are you...?", Irma began to question.
"You two may not be going to the Prom at school, but that doesn't mean we can't take some pictures.", Anna said smiling.
"We're not going to get out of this, are we?", Angelo asked.
"Not a chance.", Kadma said with a smile of her own. "So let us take some pictures and get it over with."
Angelo and Irma couldn't help but smile as they posed for the pictures their families wanted to take of them. Once they were finished with taking pictures, Irma and Angelo said their goodbyes to their families and left for their romantic evening in the limo. As they drove off, the Vanders and Lairs got in their vehicles and drove off to take care of something important. About thirty minutes later, Angelo and Irma had arrived at the Heatherfield Grand Motel where they were having their romantic evening at. Once inside, they headed for the motel's restaurant to have their dinner. The hostess took them to their table and handed them their menus to order their food. A few minutes later, the waiter came back to get their orders.
"Are you ready to order?", the waiter asked the couple as he was ready to take their order.
"Hmmmm...", Angelo said as he was still looking over the menu. "I think I'll have the... H-Hey!", he said as Irma snatched his menu from him. "What gives, woman!?"
"We shall be having your steak and shrimp dinner.", Irma said to the waiter with a smile as she handed him the menus.
"Very good, Madam.", the waiter said before he walked off with their orders.
"Steak and shrimp?", Angelo questioned. "Why does that sound familiar?"
"Think about it.", Irma said as she played with her silver angel necklace for Angelo to see.
"Oh yeah!", Angelo said with a smirk remembering the night they got together. "That night. Wow! I can't believe you remember what we ate that night.", he said before he drank some of his glass of water.
"That was a special night for me.", Irma said as she picked up a bread stick and shuddered a bit. "Plus, I never had so many bread sticks in my life.", she said getting a small laugh out of Angelo.
Once the meal came, they thanked the waiter and said grade before they ate their food happily, while talking about the things they went through during their eight years on the alternate Earth. After their meal, they had some cheesecake, like they had before. Both were quite full after their meal, yet were ready to go and do some dancing. So after paying the bill, Angelo, like before, got up, walked over to Irma, and offered his hand.
"Would you like to dance, Mrs. Vanders?", he asked with a smile.
"It would be my pleasure, Mr. Vanders.", Irma replied returning the smile as she took his hand.
The couple then headed for the ballroom, ready to do some dancing. Once they got to the ballroom doors, they saw John Vanders, Susan Vandom, And Tom & Anna Lair. Both John and Tom were in tuxedos and black shoes. Susan was in a blue dress with matching short-heeled shoes and a gold necklace with diamond earrings and a gold bracelet on her right wrist. Anna was dressed in a red dress with matching short-heeled shoes with a pearl necklace with matching earrings, like she gave her daughter and silver bracelet on her right wrist.
"What are you all doing here?", Irma said as she and her husband walked up to them.
"We're just here for your special night.", Anna said to her daughter smiling.
"Say what now?", Angelo and Irma said together.
"Well, seeing as you two were banned from Prom, we along with your friends and many of the students at Sheffield thought you two got a raw deal.", Susan began to explain.
"Not to mention how you two were worried about some of your friends may not be allowed to be there when you renew your vows.", Tom replied.
"Yeah.", Irma said still not knowing what was going on.
"Well, I decided to do something about it.", John said.
"Which is?", Angelo questioned.
John and Tom then opened the ballroom doors allowing Angelo and Irma to enter and when they did they saw that not only were their friends there but the other Guardians' families and most of the student body. Including those that were going to Prom. Even Knickerbocker was there! Seeing all of these people there shocked Irma and Angelo.
"What the heck!?", Irma and Angelo questioned.
"SURPRISE!", everyone shouted.
"Angelo and Irma Vanders, welcome to your Junior Prom/Wedding.", Anna said with a beaming smile surprising the happy couple.
A/N: Well now you know what John was planning. And what a surprise! Not only are Irma and Angelo getting to go to Prom but they get to have a wedding where all of their friends and a good amount of students can attend. Take that School Board! I know I don't have to say what's going to happen in the next chapter, so I'll leave you to review and read the next chapter after I write it and post it. Later folks!
