Chapter 27:

There Angelo and Irma Vanders were standing in the ballroom of the Heatherfield Grand Motel where not only their families but their friends and the other Guardians' families and most of the student body. Including those that were going to Prom. Including Knickerbocker! Seeing all of them there shocked Irma and Angelo big time.

"You had planned all of this!?", Angelo asked his uncle.

"Ever since last week.", John confessed. "I book the ballroom here for the wedding, but then figured why not go behind your school's back and have Prom here as well. So, I turned to one of your school's most Junior and Senior classes biggest gossips to find those that would help spread the word about it yet keep it from you two."

"Cornelia.", Irma and Angelo said knowing who it was.

"Hey!", Cornelia said getting a laugh from those there. "The Grumpers helped, too."

"So, we're having a wedding and Prom where?", Angelo questioned.

"Yes.", Tom said.

"And we even got the man who married you two here to perform your wedding.", Susan said.

"Really?", Irma questioned when she and Angelo felt a tap on their shoulders.

They turned around to see Pastor James standing behind them with Angelo's grandparents.

"Hello, my friends.", Pastor James said with a smile that Angelo and Irma returned before Irma gave him a hug.

"It's so good to see you!", Irma said.

"Well, it's good to see the both of you.", Pastor James said as he and Angelo shook hands.

"Wow! This is great and everything, but aren't we missing something?", Angelo questioned. "Like... a wedding dress for my wife?"

"Not to mention dresses for my Bride's Maids.", Irma said.

"And a dress for Will as my Best Woman.", Angelo replied.

"Done, done, and done.", Anna said.

"We have all the dresses in a room for you all to change into.", Susan said. "Now let's hurry! We have a Prom after the wedding."

"Be right back.", Irma said before giving Angelo a quick kiss.

She then went up to John and gave him a hug.

"Thank you so much for this!", she said as John returned the hug.

"It was my pleasure, Irma.", John said. "You and Angelo deserve this, Irma. Now go get ready for your wedding.", he said making Irma smile before leaving with the girls and their mothers.

"Let's go boys. We have a room for you, too.", John said to Angelo and the guys. "Some of you need to changed your tuxedos.", he said looking at Eric and Nigel who were in white tuxs. "Plus, you all have to get in the right positions."

"Plus, I think my Son-in-law needs to gather himself.", Tom said looking at Angelo who looked a bit nervous.

"What can I say? I'm as nervous as I was the first time.", Angelo said with a grin getting a laugh out of everyone there.

"I can relate.", Tom said with a grin as he patted Angelo on the shoulder.

"We all can relate.", Chen grinned along with the other fathers there.

Now it didn't take the girls long to get dressed, seeing as their mothers were there to help them get dressed. Hay Lin, Cassidy, Taranee, Corny, Elyon, and Alchemy were all dressed in the same kind of dress which was light blue, satin, and strapless. The dresses creased a bit below the stomach, to create a flowing effect and the waist is a bit like a corset. Their shoes were the same color with short heels. They also had white satin gloves that went up to the middle of their forearms.

"You guys look great!", Will said as she got a good look at the dresses. "Irma did a great job with picking the dresses!"

"I'll say.", Cornelia said admiring her Bride Maid's dress. "It even feels comfortable."

"And your dress looks great, too Will!", Elyon said.

"Thanks.", Will said. "I feel quite dapper in this.", she joked.

"Glad you all like your dresses.", Irma said as she came out from the other room in her wedding dress. "So... How do I look?"

"Oh, Irma!", Hay Lin said feeling happy for her best friend. "You look so beautiful!", she said as she ran up to her and gave her a hug.

"Thanks, Hay-Hay.", Irma said before the other girls joined in making it a group hug.

The mothers let them have their moment knowing how close they were and had grown. But they also knew that they had to hurry. So, Anna cleared her throat getting their attention.

"I hate to break up this moment, but there are a lot of people waiting out there.", she said. "And we still have to do your make-up."

"And you have to do your duty as Best Woman and go see if Angelo is ready, young lady.", Susan said to her daughter.

"Oh yeah! Duh!", Will said as she slapped her forehead before her mother began to help her with her make-up.

"Now let's get you done up first.", Susan said as she began to apply some light make-up on her daughter.

As for Angelo, he was in another room still dressed in his tuxedo making sure it was okay. Part of him was getting excited about all of this. Yet part of him was getting nervous like he was when he first got married.

"Why the heck am I getting nervous?", he asked himself as he looked in the mirror at himself.

"Well don't we look dapper."

Angelo turned to see his grandparents and Uncle standing there smiling.

"Dapper yet nervous.", Angelo replied.

"Trust me when I say that there's nothing wrong with that.", Kadma said as she walked up to hir grandson. "I was the same way when I got married.", she said as she fixed Angelo's tie and brushed some small pieces of lint off his shoulders. "Just take a deep breath and move forward.", she said before kissing him on the cheek before giving him a hug that he returned.

"You look a lot like you father did when he got married.", Joe said with a proud smile. "And I'm sure that he and your mother are watching over you now.", he said before he gave his grandson a hug that Angelo returned. "And I know they're smiling."

"Thanks, Grandpa.", Angelo said as his uncle came up to him.

"Just think. You have another one with all of the family attending.", John grinned getting a small laugh out of Angelo. "But seriously, I'm proud of you, Angelo. You were able to live eight years on an alternate Earth where you found love and got married. I see how you and Irma look at each other and see the love you have for each other. It's a strong love. I'm happy for you both."

"Thanks, Uncle John.", Angelo said as they shared a hug before a knock came at the door. "Who is it?"

"You Best Woman making sure you're ready.", came Will's voice from the other side of the door.

"Dear Lord I hope she's not in a tux.", Angelo said as Joe went to open the door.

"Looking good, Kiddo!", Joe said as he saw what Will was wearing when he opened the door.

"Thank you!", Will said as she walked inside he room.

"Very nice.", Kadma said. "Not to formal yet formal enough."

"I think that's what Irma was going for.", Will said.

"Well, she did a good job.", John said. "And I'm sure Matt will like it.", he said with a grin making Will blush a bit.

"Thanks.", she said as her blush faded.

"Well, we'll leave you two to talk.", John said as he left with his mother and father.

"So... what do you think?", Will said as she turned around giving Angelo a good look at her dress.

Will was dressed in a black dress with one inch straps. The dress went down to just above her knees with black short heeled shoes. She also had a thing of black panty hose on and a black buttonless blazer jacket that went with the dress. The jacket that went down just above her abs yet had long sleeves. Around her neck was a thin gold chain holding a gold cross.

"It's okay.", Angelo said while waving his hand.

"Very funny.", Will said with a grin as she playfully punched her best friend's arm.

"I take it you like it.", Angelo said.

"Actually... yeah.", Will said with a smile before she saw Angelo's top hat and cane sitting on the bed. "And this can complete it!", she said as she grabbed the hat and put it on and then grabbed the cane. "Now this I can rock!"

"You look like one of those girls that do that Can-Can dance!", Angelo laughed.

"DaDa-Da DaDa-Da!", Will sang as she did said dance before busting out laughing with Angelo. "You know, I still can believe this is happening."

"What do you mean?", Angelo asked.

"You and Irma being married.", Will said as she placed the hat and cane back on the bed. "And now you two are having a wedding to renew your vows at Prom! This is just... WOW!"

"You're telling me.", Angelo said as they both sat in the bed that was in the room and laid back on it looking up at the ceiling. "I mean when we first got married, we wanted you guys and our families to be there so much. But we knew it wasn't happening. But we knew that we would return and knew we could have a big wedding and have all of our loved ones there."

"Only you didn't count on you and Irma becoming teenagers again.", Will replied with a grin.

"Yeah! That changed things big time!", Angelo said with a grin. "But then again, we can go to Prom with you all and graduate with you all as well. So it's not so bad."

"True,", Will said. "And you know Hay Lin is glad to be Irma's Maid Of Honor."

"And what about you, my Best Woman?", Angelo questioned as he sat up. "Are you proud of your title?"

"Proud and loving it!", Will said as she sat up. "You rarely see a woman as the Best Man, you know. Just like there being a guy as the Maid Of Honor.", she said with a smirk.

"And I'm going to be looking nice, too.", Angelo said. "Picture me in a white tuxedo, tie, and shoes with the shirt being the color of the Bride Maid's dresses."

"Nice!", Will said. "I'm thinking of making the dresses lily pad green."

"Don't tell Corny that.", Angelo said with a laugh getting Will laughing before there came a knock on the door.

"Who is it?", Angelo asked.

"It's just me letting you know that it's time.", Anna said from the other side of the door.

"Okay! We'll be right out.", Angelo said before turning to Will. "You ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be.", Will said before giving Angelo a hug.

"Will?", Angelo questioned.

"I never got to do this when you first got married.", Will said with a sob. "I'm losing one of my best friend to another woman.", she said with a small laugh.

"Oh, Will.", Angelo said returning the hug. "You and I will be best friends for as long as we live. That's something you don't have to worry about.", he said before he gave her a kiss on the forehead making her smile. "Now let's go do this.", he said with a wink that she returned before they headed on out of the room.

Now in the room Irma was in, all but Irma and Hay Lin had left to get in their positions to get the wedding started. But everyone knew that, like Angelo and Will, Irma and Hay Lin needed their moment alone as well.

"This is so exciting!", Irma said as she looked in the mirror making sure everything was okay.

"Yeah.", Hay Lin said in a semi-excited way as she smiled at Irma while she was looking in the mirror.

"I mean not only are we having a wedding but Prom as well!", Irma said as she fixed her hair a bit. "This probably one of the best days of my life!"

"I'm happy for you.", Hay Lin said trying to hold back her tears.

But Irma noticed the change in her best friend's voice as she looked at her in the mirror.

"You okay, Hay Lin?", Irma asked as she turned to look at her.

"I'm fine.", Hay Lin said forcing a smile. "It's just that I'm so happy for...", she said before she burst into tears.

"What's wrong, Hay Lin?", Irma asked as she went up to Hay Lin and hugged her.

"It's just that... I know you and Angelo are already married but now that we're doing this, I finally see that I've lost my best friend!", she cried as she held on to Irma.

"Aw, Hay Lin. Sure I'm married but that doesn't mean that you and I aren't best friends anymore.", Irma said as she stroked her best friend's back. "Yes, Angelo may take up a bit of my time, sometimes. But that doesn't mean I won't make time to spend with you, the girls, and my family."

"Yeah but..."

"No buts, Missy!", Irma said as she looked her best friend in the face. "You and I have ben best friends for a long time, Hay Lin. So don't you dare think any different. Okay?"

"Okay.", Hay Lin said with a sniffle before they shared a hug when a knock came at the door.

"Hate to interrupt you two, but it's time.", Cassidy said through the door.

"We're coming!", Irma said as Hay Lin wiped her tears away. "You ready, Hay-Hay!?"

"Yeah!", Hay Lin said with a beaming smile before they headed out to get the wedding going.

In the ballroom, everyone was sitting in rows of chairs that left enough space for an aisle that led up to where Pastor James was standing with Angelo. In the front row on the groom's side was Angelo's uncle and grandparents along with Susan and the Lin family while Irma's mother and brother were on the front row on the bride's side with the parents of the other girls.

"Never saw this coming did you?", Pastor James asked Angelo.

"Heck no.", Angelo said with a grin getting a laugh out of Pastor James. "But I'm glad it's happening."

Just then the doors of the ballroom opened a bit to show a gloved hand of one of the Bride's Maids doing a thumb's up. Seeing this, Pastor James turned to the person that was at the piano and nodded to them letting them know it was time. The piano player nodded back before playing the piano. Outside the ballroom, everyone was in their right spots they were suppose to be in to march down the aisle.

"Everybody ready?", Tom asked getting a nod from everyone. "Then let's go!", he said as doors were opened by the two waiters that were asked to open the doors.

The first to walk into the ballroom and down the aisle were Hay Lin & Eric followed by Will & Matt. After them it was Cassidy & Peter, followed by Taranee & Nigel, Corny & Caleb, Elyon & Joel, and finally Alchemy & Martin. All were walking arm in arm. At first most of the people were wondering why Will's dress was different from the other Bride's Maids. That is until they saw her join the groomsmen and stood where the Best Man stood and understood everything. Once they were all in position, the piano player then began to play the Bridal March music. Hearing that Irma and Tom knew they were coming up soon. But first, was Lillian and Maggie who Chris had asked to come and be the flower girls. Lillian was more than happy to do it, but wasn't to happy about Maggie being there but didn't say anything seeing as Chris asked her to try and be nice to Maggie. Both girls were wearing light blue dresses for girls their age with little white gloves, hairbands, and shoes. Both had little baskets with blue and white rose pettles that they threw out as they walked down the aisle with Chris right behind them wearing a white tuxedo with matching shoes. In his hands was a light blue satin pillow with the wedding rings on them. When they reached the end of the aisle, Lillian and Maggie stood with the Bride's Maids while Chris stood with the groomsmen. Finally, it was time for Irma and her father to make their entrance.

"You ready?", Tom whispered to his daughter.

"You bet!", Irma whispered back.

"By the way, you look beautiful.", Tom said to his daughter who smiled.

"Thank you, Daddy.", she said which got her father a little misty eyed before they began their march.

When they entered the ballroom, everyone saw Tom in his tuxedo as he walked with his arm linked with his daughter's as they marched down the aisle. Everyone there marveled at Irma's wedding dress. It was an off white, strapless dress with the top half being of a corset/bodice type to show off her figure with sleeves that aren't connected to the dress. And the bottom half of the dress is long and flows out like most wedding dresses do. On her head is a silver tiara with some pearls in it. Of course the veil is connected to the tiara. And the dress has a train that's long yet not to long. As for her shoes, they're short heeled and comfortable for her. In her hands, like the Bride's Maids, was a small boutique of blue and white rose tied with a light blue silk ribbon. Once at the end of the aisle, they stood their waiting for Pastor James to begin.

"Who gives this woman away on this day of marriage?", Pastor James asked.

"I do.", Tom said as took Irma's hand and placed it in Angelo's. "Proudly.", he said giving Angelo a proud smile that he returned before standing with his wife.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered this day to this man and this woman in holy matrimony.", Pastor James said. "Let us pray.", he said as everyone bowed their heads. "Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for letting us have the oppertinaty to be here to celebrate the union of these two people and hope that the love they have for each other will last for as long as they both shall live. In Jesus name we pray, Amen."

"Amen.", everyone said as those that could sit down took their seats.

"Now both Angelo and Irma have written their own vows to each other.", Pastor James said gesturing for Angelo to say his vows.

Angelo then took Irma's wedding ring from the pillow Chris was holding and took his wife's hand ready to say his vows to her.

"This ring has no beginning and no end.", Angelo said as he slowly places the ring on Irma's finger. "In goes on forever. Just like my love for you. No matter what some people might say about our love. I vow to love you and give you comfort when you need. I vow to do my best to protect you from anything that would do you harm with all the strength I have in my body. I love you Irma Lair Vanders. Now and forever. And with the good Lord's help, I don't want to lose what we have. Not now, not ever. Not for as long as we both shall live.", he says as he places the ring on Irma's finger making her smile as some tears run down her face.

"And now, Irma has her vows for her husband.", Pastor James said.

"Give me a minute here, folks.", Irma says as she wipes away some tears. "I need to gather myself.", she says with a small laugh getting some small laughs from those there.

"Take your time.", Angelo whispers to her.

"Thanks.", Irma whispers back as she calms herself. "Okay. I'm ready.", she says as she took Angelo's wedding ring from the pillow Chris was holding and took her husband's hand ready to say her vows to him.

"This ring represents the love we have for each other.", Irma said as she slowly placed the ring on Angelo's finger. "Something this small represents something so big. There are those out there that think we're to young to know what love is. But they're wrong. We know how we feel about each other. And I won't let anyone tell us different. Not now. Not ever. I vow to be there for you through the good times and the bad times. For your problems are my problems. And my problems are your problems. And we can face them together. The good Lord brought us together. And I want to keep it that way. I love you Angelo Vanders. And don't you forget it.", she says as she places the ring on her husband's finger causing him to give her a smile that she happily returns.

"And now, by the power invested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife.", Pastor James says with a smile. "You may kiss the bride!"

Angelo then lifted Irma's veil and flipped it over her head to see her smiling face. The both then shared a loving kiss which got everyone applauding and cheering for them.

"I would of dipped you and kissed you, but that would have been showing off.", Angelo said with a wink.

"I wouldn't have complained.", Irma said as they headed down the aisle with their friends behind them as pictures were being taken of them.

Once that was done, the chairs that everyone sat in were moved around in the ballroom so that the Prom could begin. But first, there was the tossing of the boutique and garter that needed to be done. First came the tossing of the boutique in which Irma was standing at the doors of the ballroom.

"Okay, girls!", Irma said as she had her back turned to her Bride's Maids and some other girls that wanted in. "Here goes!", she said as she tossed the boutique of flowers over her head.

Try as all the teenage girls did the boutique flew over them and landed in the hands of little Maggie Rogers who had a blush almost as red as Will's hair. Next came the garter toss in which Angelo had to take said garter off of Irma's leg.

"Be gentle.", Irma said with a wink as she sat in a chair and lifted her dress enough for Angelo to remove the garter.

"Heeeeeeey!", Angelo said as he reached for the garter and slowly took it off of his wife's leg as some of the guys there let out some wolf-wistles and cat-calls.

Once he got the garter off of his wife's leg, Angelo got ready to slingshot the garter to the group of guys as he had his back turned to them.

"Here it comes, fellas!", Angelo said as he slingshotted the garter over his shoulder.

Oddly enough, the garter went over the guys and landed on Chris' head.

"So... What do I do with this?", Chris asked as he grabbed the garter from on top of his head getting a laughs out of everyone there.

"Hmmmm... Good question.", Angelo said as he was rubbing his chin. "Seeing as both you and Maggie are kids."

"I know!", Irma said. "Instead of her thigh, how about Maggie's ankle."

"I can live with that.", Mrs. Rogers said.

"What does my ankle have to do with this?", Maggie asked as her father had her sit in a chair.

"You'll find out when you're older, Sweetheart.", Mr. Rogers said as Chris came walking up to them with Angelo.

"So, I just have to put this on her ankle?", Chris questioned.

"That's it.", Angelo said.

"Okay.", Chris said as he got on one knee while facing Maggie.

Chris then took Maggie's left foot and lifted it up a bit and put the garter on her right ankle. Granted, he had to double loop it seeing as Maggie's ankle was way smaller than the garter. But as Chris was doing this, Maggie's blush returned but faded a bit when she and Chris were looking as each other and smiled.

"Please tell me you got that on film.", Anna said to Mrs. Rogers as she was recording it al on her camcorder.

"Every second.", Mrs. Rogers said as she too was recording it all on her camcorder.

Just then, the DJ for the Prom began to play some slow dance music.

"Okay folks! Let's have the husband and bride do the first dance along with our little couple as well.", the DJ said.

"Shall we?", Angelo asked his wife as he offered her his hand.

"Let's.", Irma said as she took his hand and walked out onto the dance floor.

But before they began to dance, Angelo gave the Dj the sign to cut the music for a minute. Angelo and Irma turned to face those that were there.

"Before we have our dance, we would like to thank all of you for being here.", Angelo said. "This means a lot to us. I mean who can say that they've had a wedding and a Prom in the same day?", he said getting a laugh out of those there.

"But honestly, thank you so much for all of this.", Irma said as everyone there applauded. "Hit it, DJ!"

The DJ then played some slow dancing music to which Angelo and Irma danced to as Chris and Maggie were being guided out onto the dance floor by their fathers.

"Why do we have to go out there?", Chris questioned.

"Because you and Maggie caught the garter and boutique.", Tom explained to his son. "Don't worry, it won't be long."

"Besides, your mother is really enjoying this.", Mr. Rogers said to his daughter.

"Fine.", Maggie said as she and Chris went out onto the dance floor.

Once out on the dance floor Chris and Maggie began to slow dance together like Angelo and Irma were. As they dance together, Angelo and Irma were getting lost in each others eyes as they were enjoying the moment.

"I love you.", Irma said to her husband.

"I love you, too.", Angelo said when he felt a tap on his shoulder.

"May I cut in?", Tom asked.

"Yes you may.", Angelo said as the two of them began to dance together getting a laugh out of Irma and all those there. "That was fun.", Angelo said as he let Irma dance with her father when he felt another tap on his shoulder. "Huh?", he questioned to see Anna standing there.

"Shall we?", Anna asked with a smile.

"It is tradition.", Angelo said in a regal tone before he and Anna began to dance.

"I still can't believe this is all happening.", Tom said as he was dancing with his daughter.

"It is something, huh?", Irma asked her father. "But see it like this, Dad. At least you don't have to worry about being to old to dance with your daughter on her wedding day."

"That'll never happen.", Tom said. "For I'd never be too old to dance with my little girl.", he said with a smile that Irma returned before they shared a loving hug as they danced.

"I know I said this before, but thank you for making my daughter happy.", Anna said to Angelo. "I see how happy she is when she looks at you and how happy you are when you look at her. You two truly love each other.", she said making Angelo smile.

"Yeah. We are.", Angelo said as they continued to dance. "We just didn't think that we'd be coming back as teens.", he said with a grin.

"Yeah. Irma told me and Tom the same thing.", Anna said. "It does make things a bit complicated for you two. But always know that you have family and friends that will be there for you.", she said with a kind smile.

"Thanks, Anna.", Angelo said. "Man that's still going take some getting use to.", he said getting a giggle out of his mother-in-law before he felt a tap on his shoulder.

"May I have my wife back, now?", Tom asked.

"Yes you may.", Angelo said as he let the couple of dance together. "Now where's my wife?"

"Dancing with your uncle.", Tom said as he and his wife danced together.

Angelo looked to see his Uncle John dancing with Irma.

"Break time for me then.", Angelo said as he went to stand on the sidelines.

"Thank you for all of this.", Irma said to her uncle-in-law. "This means a lot o me and Angelo."

"I'm just glad I was able to pull it all off.", John said with a smile. "No kid should miss their Prom of they can help it."

"Not to mention a wedding with most of our friends.", Irma said with a smile. "Now we just have to get through the one with both of our families. And I know that won't be easy.", she said with a worried look on her face.

"Don't worry about it.", John said. "Right now, just enjoy the moment. We all can worry about that later."

"Thanks.", Irma said as she hugged her uncle-in-law who returned the hug just as the music stopped.

"Okay people! It's now time to start your Prom!", the DJ said. "So let's get this party started!", he said as he began to play some music to get the Prom going.

Once the music started, the students hit the dance floor and danced to the music. As they were doing that, Angelo, Irma, and all those that changed for the wedding left the ballroom to change back into the clothes they wore for Prom. As the parents left for home leaving the kids to enjoy Prom. All except John who had to stay seeing as he had planned the whole thing.

"Thank goodness I hired some security.", John said as one of the security guards he hired came walking up to him. "What's up?

"I'm just came here to let you know that things are going good.", the guard said. "We have at least two guards in each corner and two guards in the center along each side of the room and two at the DJ stand."

"Good man.", John said. "Keep up the good work. I'll be back after I get a bit to eat."

"Yes sir.", the guard said before heading back into the ballroom.

"This turned out pretty well.", John said as he went to get to the hotel restaurant to get something to eat.

As for our young heroes, after those that needed to get changed got changed, they all met up at the ballroom doors. All ready to have some fun at Prom.

"Let's do this people!", Cassidy said. "It's Prom time!"

"Yeah!", they all said as they headed inside to take part in Prom.

A/N: Well, the wedding is done and now it's time to party! And with all that's happened they deserve it. But soon Prom will be over with and it'll be time for our young heroes to hit the hotel rooms. Now Angelo and Irma won't have any trouble with this. Unlike their friends. I know some of you can guess what might happen. And if you can't then you'll have to wait and see. Later!

Please review.
