Predacon Wars
Chapter 2
The Autobots and humans were gathered in the infirmary of the Ark, where they had Fowler laid down in the middle of an operating table.
Ratchet scanned him and then looked at the others as he said, "His suit suffered no serious damage, and it protected him from suffering severe injuries."
Knockout smiled arrogantly and then paused and showed a nervous smile while he said, "Thanks to the modifications I… I mean… WE made to his suit."
Ratchet turned back to Fowler as he said, "However he has suffered mild head trauma and needs time to recover."
Fowler than mindlessly babbled as he pointed his finger up and said, "That's my grandma's pancake."
Air Raid spoke out toward Ultra Magnus as he said, "You see, all these humans do is get in the way!"
Ultra Magnus narrowed his eyes as he said, "More Predacons were beginning Ground Bridge to us! Any one of us could have been injured."
Knockout showed a confused expression as he said, "I don't understand; the only Decepticon to master Ground Bridge technology was Soundwave."
Miko showed a confused expression as she said, "I thought Soundwave was stuck in the Shadow Zone?"
Ratchet put his finger on his chin as he thought and then took it off while he said, "Hmm… Shockwave must have found a way to free Soundwave from his dimensional prison."
Arcee narrowed her eyes in thought as she said, "And based on the evidence, he and Starscream have been cloning new species from Predacon bones."
Silverbolt showed an irrational expression as he said, "It doesn't matter who or what made those monsters! We gotta take them down before they cause more trouble."
Bumblebee had his left finger on his chin as he thought, then he narrowed his eyes as he spread out his fingers and said, "With Soundwave around to open Ground Bridge portals they could find more bones in half the time, and speed things up."
Bulkhead showed a nervous expression as he said, "We could have beast wars again."
Ultra Magnus showed a serious expression as he looked at everyone and declared, "We need to find Shockwave's cloning lab and put a stop to his experiments."
Bumblebee smiled as he got an idea and said, "Maybe we should ask a certain someone for help."
Jack showed a surprised, then reasonable expression as he understood who Bumblebee was talking about, while Miko and Raf showed slightly confused expressions.
Ultra Magnus showed a considerate yet skeptical expression as he said, "While he and his comrades would be helpful to our cause I highly doubt he would be willing to aid us in our task."
They all turned to Leadfoot and Topspin, who anxiously pounded their fists while Topspin said, "Well then let's persuade him, Wrecker style!"
Bumblebee narrowed his eyes in disapproval as he said, "No! We need to reason with him, not fight him."
They all looked down at Jack, Miko, and Raf as Jack smiled and volunteered as he said, "Maybe we should try to talk to him."
Air Raid showed a rejecting expression as he shook his head and then pointed at them while he said, "Uh-uh! Last time we brought you along one of you almost got squished and we had to retreat!"
Miko showed a slightly angry expression as she argued, "That was when you guys were fighting, we're just gonna try and talk to the guy!"
Jack showed a reasonable facial expression as he spoke logically and said, "Yeah and he never really showed any hate toward humans."
They all turned to Ratchet as he used the Ground Bridge terminal and said, "I have a lock on his coordinates. I should be able to open a Ground Bridge to him."
Bumblebee looked down at Jack, Miko, and Raf with a blank expression as he said, "Alright, you guys can come along."
Jack showed an expression of disapproval as he said, "No, you guys should stay here. We'll go alone."
Arcee showed a serious expression as she kneeled down in front of them and said, "No way, we are not putting you in harm's way!"
Jack showed a reasonable expression as he said, "If you guys come he'll think we've come to fight him."
Raf still did not know who they were talking about but understood where Jack was going with his statement and said, "But if we go alone he'll see we just want his help."
Miko smiled enthusiastically as she said, "Yeah! Let the humans do the talking!"
Ultra Magnus looked down at them with a convinced yet cautious expression as he said, "Alright, but at the first sign of danger we are Bridging all of you right back here!"
They smiled as they nodded their heads in agreement, then they turned around and walked forward as Ratchet opened a Ground Bridge portal. As they disappeared into the portal the Autobots showed worried and concerned expressions, especially Arcee, Bumblebee, and Bulkhead. A few seconds later they emerged from the other Ground Bridge portal and it closed behind them. They turned their heads to look around and see where they were; they were in a large clear metal field with debris around them, such as old wrecks from ships that were shot down and crashed.
Jack stared forward with a cautious and determined expression as he said, "Alright, let's move but keep your guard up."
They walked forward, toward a large metal mound shaped like a hill or levy, and Miko raised her eyebrow curiously as she looked at Jack and Raf and said, "Does anyone here even know who we're going to see?"
Raf looked at her with an unsure expression as he guessed, "I think we're going to see some old Autobot."
Jack turned to face them as they kept walking and said, "No, we need help in finding those Predacons, so we're going to see someone who would know how to find them."
Miko showed a confused expression as she walked next to him and said, "Wait, who are you…"
She stopped and they all dropped their jaws as they looked up and two large shadows were cast over them. Standing on the mound in front of them were Skylynx and Darksteel in their beast forms; Skylynx was standing on the left and Darksteel on the right.
They roared loudly as they stared at them and Raf said, "Predacons!"
All three of them took a small step back, Raf showed a scared expression while Jack and Miko narrowed their eyes bravely as they prepared for anything.
Skylynx and Darksteel transformed into their robot forms and Darksteel smiled and looked at them as he curiously and deviously said, "Well, well, what do we have here? Vermin?"
Skylynx smiled sinisterly as he said, "No Darksteel. They appear to be some sort of alien lifeforms. Which clearly need to breathe a certain odor to survive."
Jack, Miko, and Raf held their ground and did not change their expressions, but realized that their air suits provided them with a small disadvantage.
Darksteel put his left hand up as he moved his fingers deviously as he said, "Let's remove their suits and see what they look like on the inside!"
Miko took a step forward and pointed at Darksteel with a warning expression as she said, "Watch it birdy! I may be small but I took down a tuff Insecticon, Hardshell!"
Darksteel briefly showed a surprised expression but then laughed as he turned to Skylynx, then back to them as he mockingly said, "So, the little girl squashed a bug! Very impressive!"
Skylynx smiled deviously and enthusiastically as he put his arms up with his fingers out said, "Let's see if they're as fragile as they are small."
Suddenly he and Darksteel jumped and stared forward in surprise and fear as they heard a loud roar behind them. They turned their bodies sideways with their heads facing the direction they came from; a third shadow was cast over Jack, Miko, and Raf. Predaking walked onto the metal mound in his beast form and stood between Darksteel and Skylynx with his wings out as he roared and stared at Jack, Miko, and Raf.
Jack showed no fear, but more caution, as he narrowed his eyes and said, "Predaking!"
As Predaking stared at them Skylynx and Darksteel showed scared expressions; they respected and followed Predaking but they also feared him for his strength and power.
Darksteel smiled nervously as he put his hands together and then turned to face Jack, Miko, and Raf with his left arm out toward them and then looked back at him while he said, "Your Majesty! We just found these alien pests trespassing in our domain. We were just about to exterminate them."
Predaking transformed into his robot form and looked at Jack, Miko, and Raf with shrewd recognition as he said, "I know these lifeforms. These human children were some of the Autobots' allies on Earth."
Jack did not change his expression but raised his eyebrow in a surprised and curious manner as he said, "How did you know who we were?"
Predaking did not change his expression as he answered, "When I served aboard Megatron's vessel I learned more than just the history of my own species. I also learned of the lifeforms of Earth and of the Autobots' human allies."
Raf's nervous expression increased as he leaned backwards; Skylynx and Darksteel smiled deviously at the three humans.
Skylynx then turned to face Predaking as he moved his left arm in front of his chest to refer to them then turned back to face them and clutched his fingers while he anxiously said, "I say we show our visitors from Earth how we do things here on Cybertron!"
Predaking did not take his eyes off the humans as he right hand up as he firmly said, "No!"
Skylynx and Darksteel looked up at him with surprised and confused expressions as Skylynx said, "What? Why?"
Predaking stared at the human children with a calmer expression as he said, "Though they are allies of the Autobots, we have no quarrel with them or their species. And they are no threat to us, so we have no reason to destroy them."
Jack, Miko, and Raf looked at each other with surprised expressions, then stood up straight with calmer expressions.
Predaking then showed a slightly angry expression as he warned, "However I feel inclined to inform you that you are not welcome here!"
Jack showed a brave expression as he said, "We're not here to fight you."
Predaking calmed down as he moved his left hand with his palm facing up to refer to them while he said, "I can see that. If you wanted to fight us you would have brought your Autobot partners with you, or at least some form of weapon that would give you an advantage."
He continued as he raised his eyebrow and curiously said, "So tell me, human, why have you chosen to invade my domain?"
Jack then showed calm and reasonable expression as he curiously said, "We need your help. Do any of you know about other Predacons or Predacon bones on Cybertron?"
Darksteel laughed in an amused manner as he said, "Indeed!"
Skylynx smiled proudly and amusedly as he said, "An army of them!"
Predaking turned his upper body sideways with his left arm out to refer to what was behind him as he said, "Behold, our ancestors."
Behind them was a large metal valley with Predacon bones scattered all over the ground; Predaking continued, "A vast quantity. Though greatly dwarfed compared to my previous kingdom. Driven to extinction eons ago by the Great Cataclysm of Cybertron. After Unicron desecrated the resting place of my previous subjects by raising them from the dead, I sought to find a new burial ground for our race. Darksteel, Skylynx, and I have spent all our time collecting Predacon bones from around our planet and bringing them here."
Raf then spoke honestly and curiously as he said, "Well Agent Fowler, Ultra Magnus, and a bunch of other Autobots got attacked by seven living Predacons. Do you know anything about them?"
All three of them showed shocked expressions as Darksteel exclaimed, "What?!"
Skylynx then gasped as he said, "Seven?!"
Predaking's eyes widened in shock and hope as he said, "How?!"
Jack showed a blank expression as he said, "We're pretty sure Shockwave and Starscream have been gathering bones to clone new ones. And something tells me they're gonna try to steal some from your kingdom."
Predaking angrily snarled as he said, "I should have crushed Starscream's spark when I had the chance!"
Miko showed little respect as she said, "Yeah and one of them, Dragotron, says that he's the ruler of all Predacons."
Predaking showed a shocked and angry expression as he exclaimed, "What?! I am king of all Predacons! Where are they?!"
Jack showed a sincere expression as he said, "That's why we need your help. We need you guys to help us find them."
Predaking narrowed his eyes at them as he said, "So that the Autobots may destroy them?"
Jack did not change his expression as he said, "No, to stop them from taking over Cybertron."
Miko smiled excitedly as she said, "Yeah, we want you to help them like you did with the zombie Predacons!"
Predaking showed an angry expression as he said, "You assume that because I aided the Autobots in the battle against Unicron, I can forgive the Autobots for destroying my brethren on your planet? I only joined forces with them for the good of our planet, nothing more! I would not even entertain the idea of a truce!"
He turned around and began walking but stopped as Jack curiously asked, "Why?"
He stopped and looked at him over his shoulder; Jack showed a curious expression as he said, "Optimus Prime gave his life so new life could exist on Cybertron."
Raf spoke sincerely as he said, "New life such as Predacons."
Predaking turned back around and showed a bitter yet respecting expression as he said, "I am fully aware of the sacrifice Prime made for our planet. And while I have found new respect for him and would pay my respects to his memorial to honor his brave sacrifice, I still refuse to join forces with the Autobots."
He continued as he spoke with a warning expression and tone as he said, "Now leave us immediately! And I warn you, do not be misunderstand my choice to let you live; if you return here again, there will be consequences!"
Jack had his arms folded with a friendly expression as he said, "Alright, but before we go, we also came to warn you."
Skylynx narrowed his eyes at them as he curiously asked, "Warn us about what?"
Miko smiled as she said, "That we've got vampire-cons running around!"
Darksteel showed a confused expression as he said, "What?"
Predaking raised his eyebrow in confusion as he said, "Explain."
Raf showed an uneasy expression as he said, "Earlier we encountered an undead Autobot who had Dark and unstable Synthetic Energon in his body. These things suck out Energon from you guys to survive."
Jack did not change his expression as he said, "And if they bite any one of you guys they'll turn you into one too."
Darksteel laughed with an amused expression as he said, "More undead beasts!"
Skylynx smiled arrogantly as he said, "We have no need to fear them!"
Predaking showed an impatient expression as he said, "Indeed, you worry about your own kind. Now leave and never return!"
Jack and Raf turned around and started walking while Miko smiled as she pulled out her cell phone and took a picture of them. Then she turned around and walked with them as a Ground Bridge portal opened and Predaking glared at them as they entered it.
Later at Shockwave's lab
It was nighttime and Shockwave was typing on a holographic computer terminal, scanning the CNA of a Predacon bone while Soundwave was typing on one of his computers with his tentacles plugged into it. In the center of the lab there was a tank containing a premature Predacon clone in Cyber Nucleic Acid. There were three other Predacons talking with each other: Hun-Gurr, Rippersnapper, and Windrazor. Including the seven Predacons the Autobots encountered earlier, Starscream and Shockwave had managed to clone exactly twelve Predacons since the defeat of Unicron.
Hun-Gurr was a Predacon who was red and silver with three yellow areas, on the sides of his shoulder and in the center of his chest. He had an upper body like Skylynx's but his shoulders were broader and armored like shoulder pads and his chest had smoother edges that were flat. His forearms were muscular like Breakdown's but his hands were shaped like Darksteel's. His legs were shaped like Predaking's but they were thinner, the thighs were silver and the rest of them were red. The front of his crus (look it up) had the foreheads and upper jaws of metal dragon heads over them and the calves had metal lower jaws of dragons on them. His forehead had two small red crests on the sides of it and it curved up between them. His face looked somewhat similar to Ultra Magnus' but his yellow optics looked like Bulkhead's. He would transform into a flightless, two-headed, bipedal dragon that had small dinosaur-like arms with three fingers and thumbs. The yellow areas of his shoulders would move to the front of his thighs. He would have no tail and his necks would be silver with red heads; his legs would be like those of a T-Rex; they would be red with three silver claws for toes. Personality-wise, Hun-Gurr was vicious with an appetite for destruction and he loved to fight. However, he also had a sense of pride and dignity and a small sense of decency.
Rippersnapper looked very similar to Cindersaur, but there were more than a few differences. He was aqua blue, yellow, and silver. His face looked similar to Cindersaur's but it was yellow instead of green and the rest of his head was aqua blue. The rest of his head was shaped like Ratchet's, but with a metal crest on top like Bulkhead's. His pelvic muscles were silver with small yellow areas in the middle, and the front of the lower half and center of his torso was aqua blue. His legs looked just like Cindersaur's but his toes were slightly thinner and longer and the lower halves of his legs were silver and his thighs were aqua blue. He had two of the curved spikes from his beast form sticking out of the sides of his shoulders, pointing up, almost like the crests of an Insecticon. His forearms were just as big but were more armored than his. He shared his beast form with Cindersaur but his was slightly bigger, his arms were slightly longer, and the claws of his toes were slightly sharper. The spikes on his back were slightly sharper and more curved; the sides of his spikes and cheeks were yellow. In his beast form he also had a shorter tail than Cindersaur's. He and Cindersaur were somewhat alike in their personalities; Rippersnapper had a savage nature and loved to pick fights. However, Rippersnapper was smarter and would sometimes be sarcastic.
Windrazor was a thinner Predacon; he was white, blueish green, purple, and yellow (aside from his eyes and the glowing yellow areas of his body). His torso was thin like Starscream's and was blueish green with the center of the front being shite and yellow in the middle. His shoulders were broader and the tops of them stuck up like shoulder pads but were smooth and curved with corners at the back. His thighs were bluish green while the rest of his legs were white; his legs looked similar to Starscream's but were thicker and his feet were shaped more like a man's shoes. His arms were thin like Starscream's but his fingers were shorter and rounder. His upper arms were blueish green while his hands and forearms were white. He had wings coming out of the bottoms of his forearms, but they were smaller in his robot form; they were white with purple metal between, at the ends the pieces of metal almost looked like the ends of feathers. His face was yellow and the rest of his head was white; his face looked similar to Knockout's but the rest of his head was somewhat shaped like Breakdown's. He would transform into a robot dragon that resembled a pterodactyl, but would stand like an ostrich with his wings up or to his sides. He would have a short blueish green reptile-like tail and two yellow talons on his wings; on his feet he would have talons like those of an eagle and the top his beak and his horn were yellow. He was much like Skylynx; he was ferocious and enjoyed fighting and was very cold-hearted, but he did have goodness in him.
Soundwave then opened a Ground Bridge portal and Starscream emerged from it with two other Predacons following behind him. Starscream was carrying a Predacon bone, as were the other two, and as he walked he smiled at Shockwave and Soundwave.
Starscream spoke in a friendly and evil way as he said, "We have returned, partners."
He showed an impatient expression as he turned to the two Predacons and exclaimed, "Blight, Twinstrike, set those bones down by the Energon reserves!"
They did as he said as they carried the bones and glared at him with hateful expressions. Starscream usually did not treat them or the other Predacons with the respect they deserved.
Blight was a large and muscular Predacon who was purple, silver, and yellow. His knees, shoulders, and a thin line down the center of his chest were yellow. His face, hands, thighs, feet, and pelvic muscles were silver while the rest of his body was purple. His torso was shaped like Predaking's but his legs were shaped like Darksteel's, except they had four silver toes. His hands and forearms were shaped like Skylynx's but he had five fingers. His shoulders and upper arms were smooth along the outside with corners like Ultra Magnus' but without his shoulder pads. His forehead was shaped like Ultra Magnus' but he had a face similar to Bulkhead's, but with a thinner jaw that had four corners at the bottom. Blight would transform into a robot troll with yellow elbows and yellow on the sides of his thighs. His face, hands, upper arms would be silver but his forehead would be purple along with the back of his neck. He would have a short snout like a lizard with sharp teeth; he would also have a hunched back and a muscular body and broad shoulders. He would have muscular legs with three thick curved toes; he would have hands and forearms like an Insecticon's but his forearms and fingers would be rounder and thicker. He would have a thin line of small curved yellow spikes down the middle of his snout and forehead and down his spine. In his robot mode he was as tall as Darksteel, but in his beast form he was as tall as Predaking. He was much like Breakdown in his personality; he had a temper and loved to fight, though he had the ferocity of Hardshell.
Twinstrike was a yellow and light blue Predacon with purple pelvic muscles and a thin purple line down the bottom of his chest. His legs were shaped like Shockwave's and a torso like Ultra Magnus' and his shoulders were just as broad. He had two large yellow pieces of metal sticking out of his backs like Smokescreen's doors. His arms were yellow and were rigid on all sides, the backs of his forearms had the upper jaws of dragon heads over them and the fronts of them had bottom jaws over them. He had hands shaped like Darksteel's that were yellow and silver. His shoulders were blue and so were his thighs, while the rest of his body was yellow. His face was grey and was shaped like Wheeljack's but his head was shaped like Dreadwing's. He would transform into a metal, flightless, two-headed dragon with two short reptile-like tails. He would stand on all fours with his heads leaning forward like Darksteel. His feet would be yellow with three toes with yellow thighs and blue calves. The forearms of his front legs were blue while his feet and upper arms were yellow; he would have paws with three fingers and a thumb on the side like a dog. His legs would be thin like Predaking's and his necks were long and he would have silver horns on his nose. He was arrogant and ferocious like Skylynx and enjoyed destroying things.
As the two of them did as Starscream ordered, Starscream put the bone he was carrying on a table as he smiled evilly and optimistically as he continued, "Soundwave's operation of Ground Bridge portals has enabled us to collect twice as many bones in half the time!"
As he continued Shockwave scanned another Predacon bone while Soundwave continued typing on a computer terminal while he said, "With this many bones we should have an army powerful enough to conquer Cybertron within the next few solar cycles!"
Shockwave turned to him and Soundwave retracted his tentacles and did the same thing as Shockwave indicatively said, "Starscream, your optimism is logical, yet premature. For we currently lack the equipment, resources, and location to raise such an army. If we are to clone an amount of Predacons powerful enough to conquer Cybertron we will need to find a new secluded laboratory with enough equipment to continue my work.
Starscream showed a shocked expression, which turned into a disappointed expression as he let out a weary sigh and said, "Yes, of course you do."
He limped toward a metal table and they all looked up as Laserbeak flew in and moved down and attached to Soundwave.
Starscream then looked at the tools on the lab table as he spoke grievingly yet optimistically as he said, "At least Soundwave's surveillance will give us the tactical advantage we need."
He continued as he picked up an electric rod and looked at it with a slightly bored expression as he said, "And at least your new clones have a suitable leader to keep them in line. The one who acts like Lord Megatron."
He then showed a surprised expression as he heard a loud sound and looked as Vertebreak, Lazerback, Grimwing, Ripclaw, Skystalker, and Cindersaur walked in.
They knocked over some Energon crates and they looked at Starscream as he angrily said, "Watch your step you brainless beasts!"
He looked them angrily as he said, "What have you been doing?!"
Vertebreak smiled arrogantly as he bragged and said, "Exterminating Autobots."
Lazerback laughed with a sick and amused tone; he was deceptive like Starscream, but not as cunning and more trustworthy. However, he also liked to sometimes play tricks and laugh like Darksteel, unlike his twin Vertebreak. Vertebreak was hostile and enjoyed fighting like Skylynx and he was just as arrogant.
Starscream showed an enraged expression as he said, "What?! We ordered you to avoid detection and not to engage the enemy!"
He then shocked Lazerback with the electric rod and he screamed in pain; Starscream looked at Vertebreak with a stern expression as he said, "You would do well to look after your twin Vertebreak!"
Vertebreak angrily lunged toward him and tried to grab him, but Starscream angrily jabbed him in the chest with the electric rod.
Suddenly Grimwing took the rod from Starscream, who showed a scared expression as Grimwing threatened him and said, "Strike anyone of us again, and we will pierce your Spark with this rod!"
Grimwing was much like Dreadwing, he had a sense of honor but had a bit of a temper; however, he did not approve of the destruction of beings weaker than them. He only sought to resurrect the Predacon race, like Predaking did.
Starscream looked at him angrily as he said, "Then you would do wise to follow your orders, Grimwing!"
Ripclaw showed an angry expression as she exclaimed, "We made sure they did not pull any tricks!"
Ripclaw was protective of her fellow Predacons in an almost maternal way, somewhat like Arcee, and she also only sought to restore the Predacon species. However, she did fight with a vicious attitude, but she did not like to fight like most of the other Predacons did.
Starscream angrily looked at her as he exclaimed, "Ripclaw, you fool! Now that they know of your presence they will be more determined than ever to find us!"
They all turned their attention to Dragotron as he walked in and angrily vented, "They failed to destroy the Autobots! We should launch an attack on their feeble city and wipe them off the face of Cybertron!"
Starscream treated Dragotron with more respect than the others but he still abused him like he did them and saw himself as his superior.
Starscream showed a stern expression again as he said, "Dragotron, if you truly wish to be a leader like Megatron you must use your head. The Autobots outnumber us a hundred to one and their army is growing with each passing solar cycle."
Dragotron walked between the others and looked at Starscream angrily as he said, "The Autobots are weak! We have no need to fear them or their human pets!"
Starscream showed a surprised and curious expression as he said, "What?! Humans on Cybertron? How?"
He turned to Shockwave, who said, "It would seem that they have brought their human partners to Cybertron through a Space Bridge in order to aid them."
Dragotron smiled evilly as he said, "I disposed of one of their pets in battle! The Autobots fled like cowards to attend to their pet!"
Starscream still did not like that they disobeyed him but could not help but smile as he glanced up and said, "Humans, always the weak link."
Grimwing showed disapproval as he said, "There is no honor in attacking a weak or defenseless lifeform!"
Starscream looked at him angrily as he said, "This not about ethics Grimwing! This is about the destruction of our enemies!"
They turned to Soundwave as he stepped forward and displayed his picture of Jack, Miko, and Raf on his visor.
Soundwave then showed a line moving across his visor as he played a recording of Miko saying, "Enjoy the Shadow Zone dude."
Starscream smiled evilly as he understood what Soundwave meant and said, "Indeed Soundwave, we shall make those humans pay for imprisoning you in that dimensional nether realm. However capturing them could provide us with an advantage over the Autobots."
He then turned back to the Predacons with a stern and angry expression as he declared, "And to do so we must act as a whole and follow orders!"
Starscream turned his head to face Shockwave, who spoke with an indicative tone as he said, "In addition, it is also necessary that we locate a new facility that we may use as a new base and laboratory, so that we may clone more of you."
They all stared forward with surprised expressions as they heard a familiar voice say, "Shockwave, so the rumors are true, you are alive."
They turned around to see Airachnid walk in with several of her Insecticons behind her.
She smiled evilly and Starscream showed hatred as he exclaimed, "Airachnid!"
Airachnid continued to smile, though she showed a pleasantly surprised expression as she said, "Starscream. This is unexpected. I never thought I'd see the day when you'd willingly join forces with Shockwave."
Starscream did not change his facial expression as he said, "How did you get here? You were marooned on Cybertron's third moon."
Airachnid smiled evilly as she explained, "After Cybertron's restoration Autobot transports began returning to the planet. So my servants and I managed to lure one to Cybertron's moon, where we destroyed the crew and commandeered their ship."
Shockwave stepped forward and stood firmly as he asked, "How did you find my laboratory?"
Airachnid still did not change her facial expression as she said, "My servants and I spotted your new recruits. At the moment I did not know if these Cybertronians were Autobots or Decepticons, so we followed them here, where it would seem you are building a new army."
She showed a devious and thirsty expression as she continued, "It was a long journey and my servants and I have grown very thirsty."
Starscream suspiciously asked, "Thirsty?"
Her mouth transformed and she roared as she clinched the blades of her metal chord; Starscream jumped and showed fear as he knew what this meant.
The Insecticons behind Airachnid mindlessly said, "Energon!"
They opened their mouths and metal chords with four blades emerged from the backs of their throats, but their jaws stayed the same shape.
Starscream showed fear as he said, "Cylas infected Airachnid and she infected the Insecticons!"
Shockwave spoke with an annoyed and indicative tone as he said, "It would seem your failed experiment with the human who possessed the body of Breakdown, was not fully contained."
Airachnid transformed her mouth back to normal as she smiled evilly and moved her right hand up while she said, "No need to fear. I have no interest in terminating any of you. Besides, if we were here to feed on you Energon, you would already be Terrorcons by now."
Starscream's scared expression turned to one of suspicion as he put his wrists on his sides and asked, "Then why are you here?"
Airachnid did not change her facial expression as she said, "I have come to propose an alliance. You see I have recently found a new master to serve and I could use some help."
She knew that they would never help her if she told them she sought to free Unicron, so she decided to deceive them into helping her. She still despised Starscream and planned to betray him after she got what she wanted. She planned to do the same to Shockwave, for she despised him the same way Starscream did during the war.
She moved her hand down to refer to them as she continued, "I alone cannot perform the task my master has instructed me with, so I come asking for your aid and your resources."
Starscream showed no interest as he looked at his right hand with his fingers curled while he said, "As I recall, when I proposed an alliance to you, you attempted to terminate me."
He then showed an angry expression as he launched the missile on his left forearm at her; she narrowed her eyes as she quickly split apart her spider legs and transformed her legs into her abdomen. She dodged Starscream's missile as it blew up.
Starscream showed hatred as he said, "Consider that a 'no' answer."
Shockwave spoke with a bold tone as he said, "I would sooner intentionally nullify my own neural net than join forces with you."
Airachnid showed much rage as she said, "I'll drain all the Energon from both your veins!"
Shockwave and Starscream stepped aside as Soundwave stepped between them and walked forward, staring at Airachnid.
Airachnid showed fury and hatred as she said, "Soundwave! I have long waited for this rematch!"
Soundwave showed no fear as he stood tall and clinched his fists and Airachnid stood her ground as she threatened, "I'll rip out your Spark and show it to you!"
Soundwave said nothing, but his visor turned blue as it displayed a purple and red smile emoticon in the middle of it.
Airachnid understood what this meant and she showed even more rage as she stood tall on her spider legs and said, "So, I amuse you?"
Soundwave's visor went black again as he waited for her to make her move; she briefly screamed in rage as she shot a web from her left hand toward his head. Soundwave did not flinch at all; he merely tilted his head to his left. The web missed his head and stuck to the tank containing the Predacon clone. Airachnid gritted her teeth and clinched both her fists in fury and she angrily yelled as she charged toward him. She jabbed all her spider legs toward him but he used his arms like blades and blocked every single attack. After seven failed attempts, Soundwave grabbed one of Airachnid's legs and threw it to the ground; Airachnid fell to the ground on her front and she let out a small cry of pain. She quickly rolled onto her back but Soundwave stomped his right foot on her chest, pinning her to the ground. She made sounds of struggle and exertion as she tried to push his foot off her with her hands, while also trying to hit him with her spider legs. Starscream showed an evil smile of joy as he let out a small chuckle of satisfaction. Soundwave then kicked his leg forward, sliding Airachnid on the ground as sparks flew with the sound of her metal scraping the floor.
She got up and showed even more rage as she exclaimed, "I will tear you apart like I did Breakdown!"
Soundwave's visor turned blue and red and white Cybertronian letters and codes moved down it while he broadcasted a loud sonic pulse. The sonic pulse caused everything in the lab to shake; Airachnid closed her eyes as she put her hands over her audio receptors as she grunted in pain. Starscream did the same thing while he struggled to maintain his balance; Shockwave put his hand over his right audio receptor as he also struggled to maintain his balance, and while he did not grunt one could tell he was in pain. All the Predacons grunted in pain as they closed their eyes and covered their audio receptors as they bent over; even the undead Insecticons did the same thing as they squealed in pain.
Soundwave stopped and Airachnid took her hands off her audio receptors and gradually moved her head up while she angrily said, "It will take more than that to extinguish me!"
When she finished she showed a slightly alarmed expression as she noticed that Laserbeak was no longer on Soundwave's chest. She turned up and saw him flying toward her as he fired at her; she dodged his first three shots and jumped onto the wall. She walked on the wall with her spider legs and fired the blasters in her hands to try and shoot down Laserbeak. Laserbeak evaded all her shots and then shot her, thus stunning her; she fell to the ground and grunted in pain as Laserbeak flew down and reattached to Soundwave. Airachnid's body shook as she got up and looked back at Soundwave and clinched her fists in rage. She charged toward him, but Soundwave stood still as he stretched out his tentacles toward her. She stopped and swung her spider legs at them, to try and destroy them, but they dodged them and moved like snakes. His right tentacle whipped her in the face, knocking her backwards and the claws on his left tentacle clinched and spun like a drill. It quickly moved toward her face but she moved sideways and jumped toward him. He quickly put his right tentacle up and used it to grab her chest; she stopped and the tentacle slammed her onto the ground. She screamed in pain as it shocked her and then threw her across the room.
Soundwave retracted his tentacles and Airachnid got up and showed much rage as she exclaimed, "Enough! I'm through playing! I will destroy you here and now!"
She charged toward him as she screamed in rage; Soundwave stood still as his tentacles emerged from his chest and his left one held the Resonance Blaster, which he had with him the day he was imprisoned in the shadow zone. His tentacle placed the Resonance Blaster on his left arm; he stood in a fighting stance and when Airachnid came close he fired a sonic blast at her. She groaned in pain and the blast forced her backwards, through the air, and straight into the wall.
He stood straight and a line moved across his visor as he spoke, "Soundwave superior. Airachnid inferior."
Airachnid looked up at him with a shocked expression as she dropped her jaw; Starscream showed a similar expression but then smiled evilly and gloatingly as he clapped his hands and said, "Bravo Soundwave."
Airachnid showed a furious expression as she said, "Perhaps I cannot defeat you Soundwave, but my subjects can!"
She stood in front of her Insecticons and exclaimed, "Insecticons, feast upon their Energon! Then tear them to shreds!"
The Insecticons opened their mouths and roared as they moved their metal chords and ran forward with their arms out.
Starscream narrowed his as he moved his left hand in their direction while he yelled, "Predacons attack!"
All of them ran forward with determined expressions as they were ready to fight; Airachnid's eyes widened in shock, confusion, and alarm as she said, "Predacons?!"
Skystalker, Hun-Gurr, Twinstrike, Blight, and Windrazor transformed into their beast forms while Dragotron, Ripclaw, Grimwing, Vertebreak, Lazerback, Cindersaur, and Rippersnapper activated their weapons in robot mode. They were all larger in their beast forms than they were in robot mode; two dozen of Airachnid's Insecticons stood on the other side of the laboratory, with mindless and ravenous expressions.
Starscream did not change as he said, "Predacons, keep your distances and destroy their sparks! It's the only way to defeat them!"
The Insecticons charged toward them as they roared with their bladed metal chords out; the Predacons battled them with great ferocity. Two approached Skystalker as he roared at them; he launched a fireball at the one two his right, causing an explosion that knocked him backwards, destroying his Spark. He then turned to the other one and breathed a stream of fire onto it; the Insecticon squealed in pain as the fire damaged every part of its body, including its Spark. He stopped and the Insecticon fell backwards dead, with smoke coming from its body.
Cindersaur stood tall as an Insecticon stared at him and roared as it looked up and stretched out its pincer arms. It ran toward him but Cindersaur had his right hand and forearm transformed into an Energon cannon that had a large circular nozzle with long curved metal blades on the top and bottom of the nozzle, shaped like a bow. He fired three yellow Energon blasts at the Insecticon, leaving a hole in the front of the chest. The Insecticon briefly squealed and then fell backwards dead, with its Spark destroyed.
Lazerback and Vertebreak stood back to back as two Insecticons slowly walked toward them, both snarling with their chords sticking out of their mouths. Lazerback and Vertebreak fired the Energon cannons on the backs of their forearms and with three shots each, they destroyed the Insecticons' Sparks and knocked them over dead. An Insecticon ran close to Rippersnapper and tried to grab him, but Rippersnapper jumped back and dodged him before he could do so.
Rippersnapper narrowed his eyes as he fired his left Energon cannon, which looked like Cindersaur's but with shorter blades on the nozzle. With one shot he destroyed the Insecticon's spark, causing it to fall backwards dead. Suddenly a second Insecticon jumped behind him and roared as it put its arms out to grab him. Cindersaur quickly turned around and fired his Energon cannon down at the Insecticon's Spark, knocking it backwards and killing it.
Hun-Gurr and Twinstrike stood side by side in their beast forms as four Insecticons walked toward them, snarling mindlessly. Hun-Gurr launched fire balls from each of his heads, one at a time, as two of the Insecticons approached him; they hit them in the chest, exploding them and launching them backwards dead. Twinstrike sent streams of fire from both his heads, toward both Insecticons coming toward him. He burned their whole bodies and they squealed in pain; they fell forward dead with their chords hanging out of their mouths.
Four undead Insecticons approached Blight in his beast form; Blight could not breathe fire in his beast form, so he had to use hand-to-hand combat to defeat them. He charged toward one of them, roaring loudly, and pinned it to the ground. The Insecticon hissed with his bladed chord out, but Blight viciously dug his left claws into its chest and ripped out its Spark, killing it. The second Insecticon snuck up on him from behind but Blight quickly turned around and punched it in the chest hard enough to destroy its Spark. It fell down with a hole in its chest and Blight turned to the other two; he ran forward and roared as he pounced on the one to his left. He dug his claws into it and savagely began ripping out its metal; the fourth one climbed on his back but Blight grabbed it and threw it down to the ground and sunk his claws into its chest, destroying its Spark.
Airachnid showed a scared expression; these Predacons were destroying her undead Insecticons with ease. Grimwing showed a hostile expression as he stared at two Insecticons that were snarling at him; he had his right hand and forearm transformed into a plasma cannon that looked like a black and green metal eagle head, with the throat as the nozzle. He quickly aimed and fired at both the Insecticons' Sparks, blasting holes in their chests, causing them to fall over dead.
Ripclaw showed an angry expression as she faced two Insecticons that charged toward her, roaring. She had her right hand and forearm transformed into her plasma cannon, which was light blue with a large circular nozzle that had three short red metal crests on the sides. They were arranged in triangular position and bent forward, like a three-fingered claw. She fired yellow plasma blasts at all three of the Predacons, killing each of them with a single shot.
Windrazor was in his beast form as he flapped his wings and flew around the ceiling of the laboratory while he roared. He then flew down toward an Insecticon and launched a fireball at it, causing an explosion that launched it backwards through the air dead. Dragotron had both his arms transformed into his fusion cannons as he blasted an Insecticon standing before him, sending it flying across the room. He turned around and saw another Insecticon roaring as it charged toward him with its arms out.
He transformed his arms back to normal charged toward the Insecticon as he yelled with rage and ferocity; Starscream saw him and showed a scared expression as he said, "Dragotron! What are you doing?! Keep your distance!"
Dragotron ignored him as he kept running; he and the Insecticon grabbed each other's hands and tried to overpower each other. The Insecticon was only slightly bigger than Megatron, so the Predacons were bigger than them in their robot forms, except Lazerback and Vertebreak who were slightly shorter than them. Before long Dragotron got his left arm free and punched the Insecticon in the chest so hard that his fist went right through it. A third Insecticon quickly climbed onto Dragotron's back and roared loudly, but Dragotron grabbed it by the left arm and pulled it off. He held it in front of him and it roared while he quickly transformed his right arm into his fusion cannon. He fired it at the Insecticon's chest, blowing it across the room without its left arm, which was still in Dragotron's hand. Dragotron threw the arm down and turned to face the remaining Insecticon. He then quickly transformed into his beast form and roared as he pounced on the Insecticon. He grabbed its torso in his mouth and shot a fireball at it while it was in his mouth. This caused the Insecticon to fly through the air and land in front of Airachnid dead with a huge hole in its chest. Airachnid stared at the dead Insecticon with shock and horror and looked up as Dragotron approached her and roared threateningly.
Airachnid turned to Starscream, Soundwave, and Shockwave as she exclaimed, "I vow that you will all pay for this!"
She turned around and ran out and Dragotron transformed into his robot form, as did all the other Predacons in their beast forms.
Dragotron smiled evilly, arrogantly, and victoriously as he said, "She and her army of bugs are weak."
Suddenly he cried in pain as Starscream shocked him in the back with his shock rod.
He stopped and Dragotron turned around and furiously exclaimed, "How dare you!"
Starscream pointed his shock rod at Dragotron's face as he said, "I told you to keep your distance! The Insecticon Terrorcons could have infected you!"
Dragotron clinched his fists in anger as he exclaimed, "The bugs were weak! We had no need to keep our distances! They were no match for us!"
Starscream lowered his shock rod as he said, "It does not matter Dragotron! We must act as one and cooperate with each other if we are to rebuild the Decepticons and conquer Cybertron in my name."
Dragotron furiously asserted himself and insulted him as he exclaimed, "Your name?! You are no better than the Autobots! You are all weak! Any new era of either of your choices would be a disgrace! Cybertron would be better off a barren wasteland! The Predacon species should rule this world!"
Starscream showed an angry and stern expression as he said, "Dragotron, the Predacon species will exist to serve the Decepticons! You shall rule your own kind and nothing more!"
Dragotron showed much rage as he exclaimed, "Enough! I serve no one! Especially not you!"
He turned around and walked past the other Predacons while he said, "Come, we shall mount an attack on the Autobot city and set out to conquer the planet."
He walked past them but they did not move, then he stopped and turned around with an impatient and angry expression as he said, "Well?! What are you waiting for?!"
Grimwing showed a disrespectful and asserting expression as he said, "I seek to aid them so that our mighty race may be restored to its glory. I have no interest in conquering this or any world."
Ripclaw showed a similar facial expression as she said, "And even we are no match for an entire army of Autobots."
He looked at Skystalker, who showed a similar expression as well, as he said, "I see no reason why we should follow you."
Skystalker was one of the more intelligent Predacons; in terms of personality, he was somewhat like Skylynx. He was prideful and took pleasure in fighting and hunting, however he also had a small sense of duty.
Dragotron furiously yelled at all of them as he said, "I am your master! I am your leader! I command you to follow me!"
Grimwing narrowed his eyes with a skeptical and honorable expression as he said, "You are not fit to lead our kind."
Dragotron was slightly shocked, but he was more angry; he insulted them all as he said, "You are all weak! You are all a disgrace to our species! I deserve true power! The power to destroy all who oppose me with a single blow!"
He then turned around and ran outside, then changed into his beast form and flew off into the night sky. He flew onto the roof of an old damaged building and pointed his head straight up as he roared loudly in rage, his roar echoed throughout the region.
He turned his head in response as Airachnid showed up with the Insecticon hive, she smiled evilly and flatteringly as she said, "You truly are a great warrior."
Predaking turned his body around and took a step forward as he roared at her angrily and threateningly.
Airachnid did not change her expression as she said, "Someone as great and powerful as you should have so much more."
He showed a slightly surprised expression and transformed into his robot form; he narrowed his eyes in anger as he said, "Flattering will get you nowhere bug!"
She still did not change her facial expression as she said, "Tell me, Dragotron, wouldn't you like to crush those weaklings under your mighty heel?"
He did not change his expression as he said, "I would tear them apart and use their parts to upgrade my body!"
Airachnid smiled maliciously as she said, "You seek to rule this world, but no one will follow you. What would you do if you could not rule Cybertron?"
He still showed rage as he said, "I would rather see this world destroyed than ruled by any of those fools!"
Airachnid smiled deviously as she said, "I can give you something that would allow you to do so. I can help you in your quest to destroy this world and all those that you despise."
Dragotron showed a skeptical yet curious expression as he said, "And what could a feeble insect such as you possibly offer me?"
Airachnid showed the same expression as before while she said, "You crave power for yourself; I can help you receive ultimate power, the power to destroy this world and those who mistreated you and refused to follow you."
Dragotron had his eyes narrowed with an interested and curious expression as he said, "And how could you grant me such power?"
She walked toward him as she said, "In the vaults of Iacon there is a relic containing something of great significance that will give you power that you could not even begin to comprehend."
He showed an interested but skeptical expression as she walked up to him; he showed a confused expression as she handed him the Dark Energon shard she got from the warship.
He looked at her with a confused expression as he said, "What's this?"
She smiled evilly as she said, "Dark Energon. Its properties will be very useful to you. You will need this in order to acquire the contents of the relic."
She turned around and changed into her helicopter form and flew off; the Insecticons watched her and transformed into their beetle forms as they followed her. They were mindless as vampires but they had enough mental power to transform, especially under Airachnid's command. Dragotron watched them fly away and then stared at the Dark Energon shard; he smiled evilly as he sensed that this would be useful to him.
Meanwhile at the Decagon
Raf was standing on a computer terminal with Knockout standing behind him with his arms folded as he showed an annoyed expression.
Raf looked down at the buttons as he stepped on them while he said, "Knockout, plug in the Energon transducer."
Knockout groaned as he turned around and walked to the Energon transducer while he complained, "Wonderful! First I'm a doctor's lapdog and a human's chauffeur, now I'm a child's own personal assistant!"
He grabbed the cable and plugged it into the computer terminal and Raf briefly looked up at him with a friendly smile as he said, "Thanks."
Knockout showed a slightly surprised expression as he showed a small smile of appreciation as he said, "You're welcome."
Raf stepped on five buttons and looked up at the holographic screen as he pushed the buttons on it with his hands.
The screen then displayed Cybertronian letters and Raf smiled and said, "Yes! The Iacon automatic defenses are back online."
Knockout looked at the screen with his arms folded again and his eyes widened with a surprised expression and then he smiled at Raf with a slightly impressed expression while he said, "Hmm. Not bad. For a human I mean."
Jetfire was standing behind them in the middle of the room with a slightly impressed expression as he watched them work, and he said, "At least these humans display some intelligence."
He turned to his left and walked to the exit with a blank expression, and while he exited Ratchet and Agent Fowler entered the room. They looked around and saw the Autobot technicians typing at the computer terminals around the room, the two of them showed proud smiles.
They turned to face Raf and Knockout, who were looking at them, and Raf smiled as he politely said, "Feeling better Agent Fowler?"
Fowler smiled with appreciation as he said, "Yeah, thanks. After a short little trip back home and a cup of jo I'm ready to fight again."
Ratchet briefly Bridged himself and Agent Fowler back to Earth so that he could recover, get out of his suit for a while, and regain his strength.
Ratchet and Fowler walked toward them as Ratchet curiously asked, "How is it coming on the Iacon network?"
Raf showed a small frown with a modest expression as he pointed his right thumb at the screen while saying, "I managed to get the automatic defenses back online but I'm having trouble getting the city's scanner up."
Knockout briefly chuckled with an amused and arrogant smile.
He then stepped in front of the terminal and continued to smile arrogantly as he moved his left arm sideways, gently shoving Raf to the side of the terminal as he said, "Step aside boy, let a real genius show you how it's done."
He kept smiling as he typed on the computer terminal and then it displayed more Cybertronian letters.
Raf looked up at him and smiled as he said, "Good job."
Knockout looked down at him and smiled graciously and said, "Thank you."
Jetfire was now flying over the city and he transformed and landed on the roof of a round building and stood in front of Silverbolt and Air Raid.
Silverbolt curiously asked, "So, how's it coming?"
Jetfire put his hands out as he said, "One of the human children managed to get the Iacon defenses back online."
They both showed surprised and impressed expressions and Air Raid said, "At least they're good for something."
Silverbolt showed a serious expression as he walked between them and said, "Well come on, let's see if the scouts have anything to report."
Suddenly Jetfire pointed up at something and said, "Wait, something's coming toward us!"
They all looked up and saw Dragotron flying through the air; he roared loudly and Silverbolt narrowed his eyes as he said, "Dragotron!"
He flew down and transformed in front of them and showed a threatening expression as he exclaimed, "Ignorant pests!"
The three of them stood in fighting stances with determined and prepared expressions as Air Raid said, "So, you've come to lead your kind in an attack on our city?"
Dragotron angrily replied, "My fellow Predacons are weak! I come to claim what should be mine, the power to crush all of you under my mighty heel!"
He did not change his expression as he continued and demanded, "Bring me to your city's vaults so that I may claim my prize!"
None of them showed fear as Silverbolt pulled out his plasma cannon and aimed it at him while saying, "No way! You're not getting anything out of there!"
He fired a plasma blast at Dragotron's chest, but though he grunted he showed no severe pain. He charged toward them, yelling in rage, and he immediately knocked the plasma cannon out of Silverbolt's hands. It slid on the roof and Silverbolt turned back to Dragotron, showing no fear as he quickly pulled out a large sword. The sword had a handle like Dreadwing's but the blade was shaped like one of Optimus' old swords. He swung his sword at Dragotron, but Dragotron grabbed the blade and pushed it aside and then grabbed Silverbolt by his right shoulder and lifted him into the air. He then punched him hard in the chest and Silverbolt screamed in agony; Air Raid fired his Energon cannons at Dragotron's back, but Dragotron quickly spun around and threw Silverbolt at Air Raid. Silverbolt hit him and he cried in pain as they slid on the roof, both unconscious. Dragotron turned to Jetfire, who showed no fear as he transformed his hands into swords like Ratchet's. He charged toward Dragotron, swinging his blades at him, but Dragotron quickly jumped up and did a back flip, kicking Jetfire in the head. Jetfire flew backwards, landing on the edge of the roof unconscious.
Dragotron immediately transformed when in the air and flew over more buildings; he flew over a road between two metal buildings. He spotted the vaults of Iacon; the entrance was an enormous metal door. Five Autobot flyers flew toward him in their vehicle forms; they looked like Decepticon flyers but had rounder bodies and four tailfins, two on top and two on the sides. He jerked his to his right while breathing a stream of fire; he burned three of the flyers and they groaned in pain as they crashed to the ground. One of the remaining two came close to him and he hovered as he roared and bit down on the vehicon. He held the vehicon in his mouth and threw it at the other one, causing them both to blow up. He flew toward the door but two huge fusion cannon turrets came out of the roofs of the buildings at the side. They fired at him but he dodged every attack; he launched fireballs at both of them, destroying each with one shot. He launched a third fireball at the door, blowing it open; he transformed and ran through the hallway. Autobot vehicons fired their Energon guns at him but they had little effect; he crushed one, then threw one at another one, destroying them both. He grabbed one and smashed him on another one. Then he transformed his left hand into his fusion cannon and destroyed one with a single shot. As he continued turrets fired at him but he destroyed them all with his fusion cannon. He blew the vault door open with his fusion cannon and walked through it; he transformed his hand back to normal and stared forward at the items in the vault.
There were only two items: the Star Saber and the container holding Unicron; Dragotron furiously yelled, "What is this?! I see nothing in here of great significance to me!"
He suddenly showed a surprised and confused expression as he heard Unicron's voice say, "Warrior."
He looked at the container holding Unicron and stared at it intently; he was then in a trance.
In his mind he was standing in an endless black void as he heard Unicron repeat, "Warrior."
Dragotron looked up and saw the enormous giant standing in front of him and he showed a baffled expression as he said, "Who-Who are you?"
Unicron had his eyes narrowed with a stern expression as he said, "I am Unicron, the chaos bringer."
Dragotron showed a slightly scared expression as he said, "I am Dragotron. Why do you speak to me now?"
Unicron showed the same expression as he said, "I call upon you to serve me! I demand that you free me from my prison and grant me your husk, so that I may destroy my lifelong foe!"
Dragotron then curiously asked, "And who might that be?"
Unicron still did not change his facial expression as he answered, "Primus, the one who lives in the center of this world."
Dragotron looked down in thought as he spoke to himself and said, "Destroying him would destroy all of Cybertron."
He looked up at Unicron, who still showed a stern expression as he said, "And begin the age of chaos!"
Dragotron showed an unsure expression as he thought, then Unicron said, "There is greatness in you, warrior. I sense great power and darkness within you. But in order for me to enter your husk, my lifeblood must flow through you."
Dragotron showed thought as he said, "The Dark Energon."
Unicron still showed a stern expression as he demanded, "Release me and pledge allegiance to your new master!"
Dragotron smiled deviously as he liked the idea and he smiled evilly at Unicron as he said, "I will release you. But in exchange for my services, I ask for a few small things."
Unicron narrowed his eyes with a vexed expression as he said, "And what do you feel a god such as I should grant YOU?"
Dragotron smiled evilly with respect as he said, "I humbly ask for only a few things: a fair share of control over our shared form, a small amount of my freewill, and a small portion of your godly power after our shared form is no longer of use to you."
Unicron then angrily said, "And why should I grant you such virtues?!"
Dragotron smiled deviously as he said, "You plan to use our shared form to destroy your hated enemy, Primus, but what after that? I can offer you something of great value and significance; something you happen to lack, that I happen to have abundance of."
Unicron showed a skeptical expression as he humored him and said, "And that would be…?"
Dragotron did not change his expression as he answered, "Imagination, creativity, and idealism."
Unicron raised his eyebrow, he was not entirely convinced, but it did seem like it could be of use to him.
Unicron showed displeasure as he said, "Very well. Release me from my prison and allow me to enter your form, and I will grant you what you desire."
Dragotron snapped out of his trance and smiled evilly as he pulled out his Dark Energon shard; he stared at it as he chuckled evilly. He then jabbed it into his chest, uniting it with his Spark.
His eyes now glowed purple as he said, "Yes! Dark Energon, grant me your power!"
He then immediately put his arms out with his fingers up as it flowed through his veins and Dark Energon fire burned throughout his body.
He could feel that he was now connected to Unicron as he exclaimed, "Ha ha ha! I can feel it! Symbiosis! THE POWER!"
His body stopped burning and he walked to the container as he smiled evilly and picked it up while saying, "Now, my master, I shall grant you your freedom!"
He smiled evilly as he pulled the lid off and peered into it; Unicron's Anti-Spark remained motionless for a moment but then it moved toward him and phased into his body. Dragotron stared up with his eyes wide open as he screamed as if he was in agony, and then his body transformed and changed colors. He was now silver, brown, and purple; his forearms and lower legs were brown while his torso and face were silver and the orange parts of his body were now purple, including the membranes of his wings. His body then changed shape to where he looked like a combination of himself and Unicron. His torso now had small spikes on the front, sides, and top pointing up. His thighs and upper arms were purple and his wings slightly changed shape. The membranes were purple while the rest were brown, and they now had three fingers like a bat, almost like Unicron's.
His face was now silver with some black lines on it, while the rest of his head was brown. The crests on the sides of his head changed shape like Megatron's did; the spike on top if his head was now purple and the crests on the sides of his head grew taller and were more curved. They were now curved like the horns of a Viking helmet, like Unicron had, and they stretched above the spike on top of his head. The curved spikes sticking out forward from the sides of his face curved further inward toward each other. His forearms now had small spikes on the backs and sides and his lower legs were more rigid with sharper toes and large brown spikes on his knees. The smaller spikes on his shoulders were purple but the large horns on them were brown and stretched to farther lengths and curved higher, like the spikes on Unicron's shoulders, but not as long. His hands and fingers stayed the same shape but were now silver. All the glowing yellow areas of his body now glowed purple like Dark Energon and he now had a purple star in the center of his chest. He stared forward with an expression of fury and rage.
Deep within his mind Dragotron stared forward as he smiled evilly with Unicron behind him; he turned around as Unicron said, "Now let me peer into your inner thoughts and desires and see if your mind truly has anything to offer me."
He then fired a beam from his eyes directly at Dragotron's eyes; Dragotron stared forward as Unicron saw a series of images. First he saw an image of Cybertron glowing purple from Dark Energon, and then an image of him raising all the dead in their shared form. Then he briefly saw an image of Earth, which he recognized as his original form, and then an image of it exploding and changing shape into an enormous version of his own body. Then he saw an image of streams of Dark Energon moving to different worlds, destroying them. The final image he saw was one of Dark Energon spreading out to the vast reaches of space.
Unicron stopped and stared forward with an evil smile as he said, "Ah, I now see an even greater future than just destroying Primus. This entire universe shall know the true meaning of chaos!"
Suddenly several Autobot vehicons entered and saw them; Unicron angrily spoke (with Dragotron's voice) as he said, "Followers of the Prime, prepare to meet your demise!"
He then transformed into his new beast form; it looked almost exactly like Dragotron's original beast form but the horn on his nose was now purple and longer and more curved. He had more spikes along his body and the horns on his shoulders now stretched upwards diagonally and curved backwards. His legs were more muscular and so was his tail, which now purple and silver with a brown spiked club on the end. His head and face were brown accept for his fangs which were silver and the two large horns on the back of his head which were purple. He now had a larger upper body, like Skylynx in his beast form, and his neck was thicker at the bottom. In addition to the large purple horns, he had several small brown curved spikes between them and down the sides of the back of his head. He roared with great ferocity as he breathed a stream of Dark Energon fire on all the Autobot vehicons. They all cried in agony as it killed them.
Unicron then put his front left foot forward and in his mind Dragotron smiled evilly as he said, "Yes! Now let us go and destroy this world forever!"
Unicron looked at him with a stern expression as he said, "No! Our new shared form is truly powerful, but I still require a greater instrument of destruction if I am to destroy Primus!"
Dragotron then looked forward with a determined expression as he said, "Then let us go search for our new weapon of great power!"
Unicron then flapped his wings as he quickly flew out of the vault and into the skies of Cybertron, away from Iacon. Silverbolt, Jetfire, and Air Raid regained consciousness and faintly saw him flying away, but he was so far away they could not see the differences in his body and thought he was Dragotron.
Author's note: I originally was going to call Dragotron Galvatron, but I read online that fans called Megatron that when he was possessed by Unicron. I read online that Dragotron is supposed to be Predaking's nemesis so I chose him. I made Predaking not hate humans personally because in the show he never really interacted with them. Please review.
