He wouldn't ever admit it- but he was a little scared. It was right there in front of him. Darker and more gruesome than any nightmare he could have possibly imagined. There wasn't a thing he could do- not in front of them. They all seemed to be enjoying themselves, but he didn't understand just what was so amusing? It wasn't amusing at all. It was creepy. It came close to his work partner and gave it one of his 'hideously colorful inflated creatures.' It's smile was menacing. It walked out to the middle of the gathering place.

"Now, I'll need a volunteer-" it said searching through the bobbing heads of five year olds, Himiko waving her arm impatiently through the air.

"Not me… " he thought eyeing his partner profoundly.

"You! Yes you, with the hat!"

His heart stopped. "Is it talking to me?"

It crossed the crowd of young children and Himiko with ease, much as Moses did to the sea. "He truly must be powerful…"

There Dr. jackal's horridly colored fears surfaced. He stood in the middle of the living room at Himiko's cousins birthday party with a clown. It had a bloody nose which could blind a man from miles, and a disgustingly colored wig and abnormally-deformed looking shoes.

It pulled a live rabbit with a ribbon around it's neck out of Akabane's hat. "How'd he do that?"
