A/N: No beta, and damn it, I still haven't found Death Note yet! Remember, due to the fact I never touched the books, I have no idea how everything works. So, I'm here to write things that never happened in the series, you all okay with that?

RAITO YAGAMI

Maybe it was the helpless sensation running down his spine as he felt the unseen glass walls around him with blind fingers. His eyes were wide with tears as he turned round and round his mental cage made of material never in the real world could be born. The floor beneath his feet disappeared and he fear the thought of falling- even though he was performing the amazing feat of floating. He was lost in this realm of nowhere just by staying in his spot. His mouth opened but no words came out. It was panic that provoked him to slam his fist on the walls around his cage. And in a very slow manner, they both met.

It took forever for his hand to get there, but it smashed the glass to pieces. This didn't prove anything, not even a show that he cast a dangerous mistake upon himself. The glass danced in the air all separated away from each other in shards, not moving down to gravity. Only hovering in the air, still as the whole atmosphere around him, he couldn't find an escape from this torment.

He tried looking around, for the first time he was loosing faith. All he could see was a rain of petals in the color pink appearing from the ceiling that has no beginning falling down to the dark pits of the floor with no end. He never fall short, he never falls short; that's what he always believe. But there was no answer in his brain that could satisfy the question represented to him now. This world of nothing laughed at him in a still mirth with the motions of the petals that looked like rain.

He felt his feet backing away. Fear lighting his always calm eyes, his back made acquaintance with the glass barrier that separated him from the whole world of this nightmare.

Then it started.

One little piece swung left and right, in front of his eyes. Going near his perfect face until it kissed his cheek. The shock of this world caused him to act late as he realized, the contact radiated a thin line of blood to his features.

Pieces of paper crawled down at him from within his glass chamber. And his mistake was looking up to be taken by another member of the white entity to take another strike at his cheek. He gasped, a sound that doesn't exist anymore, as he tried protecting his head from the onslaught of paper slicing him piece to piece. Letting his poor hands bleed and stripping a section from his clothing.

In a manner almost similar to an hourglass, the paper flooded him; discriminating not whether he feels the sting from their overwhelming presence.

Out of desperation he clawed higher and higher, even though his hands and body were screaming out pain. Clips and notes jabbed at his skin leaving marks of hate upon his body. There was a deep tinge of crimson from him as the papers surrounding him started to follow his color of red. They flooded around him wanting to take him deeper with them, his head poked out and so was the length of his arm all hurt and scathed with scars. He was saying a word over and over again, but words disappeared in this world. Sound was not conceived in this sphere. His hand reached out to something that will not help him.

His eyes began to drop. He was swimming along that sea of white and blood.

And the last letter met his palm and mercy of mercy; it didn't give him the last kiss of death. But instead, it gave him something else, a name:

'Raito Yagami'
