"Let me go after the rangers again! Just don't give me some weakling to get in my way!" Vanica said. "I would have had them all crushed if I didn't had those weak fools to get in my way."

"Easy, Vanica." Dante said. "I think it's rather enjoyable that it's lasted this long. It will make their defeat that much more delicious. Zenon, you haven't had a shot in a while. How about you go?"

"You're the one that enjoys fighting so much. How come you don't go?" Zenon questioned.

"I would, but we have to keep in mind that this isn't a mere fight." Dante said. "This is meant to destroy all of humanity. Clover Meadows is just the starting point. A general leads the troops into battle, remain back until the final battle where victory will be claimed. If we want humanity's end to come, we must get the gates to open wider. That's another reason we keep sending these devils." Dante made his way over to the magic circle engraved in the ground and activated its power. "Plus, it's just too enjoyable seeing both sides go at each other. The end result is always someone's destruction." Dante called upon the Netherworld again. This time, a gargoyle-like creature emerged out of it with a spear in his hand.

"The name is Gargirk! Tell me who I can tear apart!"

"How does a team of rangers sound?" Dante said. Dante is quite psychotic as he was taking pleasure in all of this. As long as havoc and destruction is caused, he seems to be having the time of his life.

...

Vanessa

"Vanessa, it's time to wake up!" Vanessa tried getting up and out of bed. She tried getting up like it was one of the toughest things around. Once she got up, she made her way down to the kitchen where her mother was waiting for her with breakfast.

"Thanks, Mom." Vanessa said as she had a quick breakfast and was ready to go out the door.

"Wait just a minute, young lady." Her mother said. Vanessa had an idea as to what this is about and she didn't like it. "I want you to come down to my work later."

"Gee... I would, but I have work today too." Vanessa claimed.

"Vanessa, you can't seriously want to work at that small business for the rest of your life." Her mother said. "You need to start getting serious with your life. That is why you need to sign up for business classes soon. I'm not going to be around forever, and as my only daughter, I need to make sure you're ready to take it over."

"I know, but..." "Vaneessa!" Her mother interrupted.

"This is not negotiation." Her mother said. "Since you seem interested in these "mystical ways" for whatever reason, think of it as fate." This was not the kind of fate that Vanessa wanted. However, she couldn't talk to her mother much about it as she heard her morpher going off and alerted that there was danger.

"We'll see, Mom. Right now, I have to go." Vanessa said as she hurried out there. She's actually hoping this fight will take a long time.

...

Clover Meadows

Once all of them were alerted about the trouble in town, the team hurried into it and tried to find the danger they were alerted about.

"Anyone see anything?" Asta questioned.

"Nope, but there has to be something around here." Finral said as they all kept their guard up. They didn't know what to expect until attacks started coming out of nowhere and started to knock them around.

"Rangers!" They all looked into the sky and spotted Gargirk with him flying. "What's the matter? Haven't you seen a flying gargoyle before?"

"Only the ones that are statues, but you'll crumble like they would." Asta said as they all got back up so they can fight. "Are you guys ready?!"

"Ready!" The team shouted as they all pulled out their morphers.

"Mana Morpher! Magic Calling!" The rangers morphed with them pulling out their sabers and were now ready for a fight.

"Come down and join the party!" Luck called as he shot lightning at Gargirk, but he kept flying around and avoided all of his attacks. Gargirk being able to fly around was a problem.

"Finral, a portal!" Asta said. Finral opened one up with Asta jumping through. Asta reappeared in front of Gargirk and slashed his sword right against him. Noelle helped out as she fired a blast of water and it splashed against him with Gargirk being blasted out of the sky.

"That will teach you, you mutated rock." Noelle insulted, but it wasn't over. Something moved incredibly fast and slashed against all five of them. They each took a look and spotted it was Zenon.

"Zenon? What do you want?" Finral said.

"The same thing as the others: your demise." Zenon claimed as he held out his spear and was ready to join the fight. One more opponent made no difference to the rangers. They all took on their opponents and tried to fight him off. Noelle and and Finral tried to fight off Zenon. He blocked both of their sabers with his spear and pushed them away with Zenon getting a good strike against them. Zenon attacked Finral, but he teleported out of the way. Noelle used her saber and tried to hold down the spear. Finral reappeared behind Zenon and tried to attack, but Zenon gave him a powerful kick and knocked him down. Zenon freed his spear and gave Noelle a powerful slash.

"Come on!" Luck called as he tried attacking Gargirk, but he blocked his attack and pushed him away. The other three tried attacking him together, but Gargirk kept maneuvering his way around their attacks. All three tried attacking together, but Gargirk jumped into the air and the three of them missed.

"Take this!" Gargirk called as he launched more attacks from his spear and caused some damage around them.

"This isn't looking good." Vanessa said. "If this guy can fly, we can't get a clear hit on him."

"Finral, get us another portal!" Asta called. Finral was about to open one, but Zenon slashed his spear against him and kept him from doing anything. "No good. Zenon won't give Finral the chance."

"I think we should pullout for now." Vanessa suggested.

"I guess you're right." Asta said. Knowing they're going to need a plan, the five of them tried to get out of there.

"You're not going anywhere!" Gargirk called as he launched more attacks at them. They pushed through until Finral opened a portal and the five of them were able to retreat. "They got away!"

"Don't worry. They'll be back." Zenon stated as he knew they would.

...

The Rangers' Base

"That gargoyle is going to be a tough one." Noelle said. "The fact that he can fly is going to make this difficult. How are we going to beat this one?"

"Easy. We just try to lure it into a trap, somewhere in a closed space." Luck said. When he said that, the rest of felt like morons for not thinking that.

"Brilliant idea, Luck. You certainly have sharp battle instincts." Julius said.

"Yeah, and then we wham him when we got him." Asta claimed as they all certainly like that idea. All of them were on board with this plan, but they had a change of plans when Vanessa's phone alerted them. She saw it was his mother and she wasn't looking forward to this.

"I've got to go." Vanessa said with annoyance.

"Now? Vanessa, we need to get that monster." Finral said.

"I don't have a choice." Vanessa said. "It's my mother. She wants me to meet her at the community center to look at business classes or something."

"Your mother? Business?" Noelle said as none of them really understood what was going on.

"She wants me to go into business like her, says I need to get serious with my life, and all that other stuff parents tell their kids about." Vanessa said. "I get she loves me, she wants what's best for me, but I don't want to go into business like her."

"Did you tell her that?" Asta questioned.

"She wouldn't listen." Vanessa said. "I'm fine with how my life is now, and I know I might need to make some changes in her life. I just wish she would trust me."

"We get it, Vanessa." Noelle said as all of them really understood. "Parents can come down pretty hard on us about getting a job and such, but it's still your life in the end. You've got to live the life you want. As long as you're satisfied with your life, know you will have to make some changes, it shouldn't matter what someone like even your mother says. You've got to do what makes you happy, at your own pace, and it's your mother's problem. Don't let her make it yours." All of them felt the same as Noelle on that. Vanessa has to do what she wants, how she wants.

"Thanks guys, but I still have to go. Keep me posted." Vanessa said as she headed on out.

"I hope she can work things out with her mother." Asta said. They all are hoping the best for their friend, but they were all alerted that Zenon and Gargirk were back.

"They're at it again by the warehouses." Julius said.

"Should we let Vanessa know?" Finral questioned.

"Sounds like she's already in a tough position. Let's try to handle this without her." Noelle suggested. The guys were on board with it and went on without Vanessa.

...

The Underground Castle

"No fair. Zenon is having all the fun." Vanica complained.

"Let it go, Vanica. No one likes a crier." Dante said as he watched things unfold on the surface. He did notice something else going on as he spotted Vanessa with her mother. "Interesting. The Pink Ranger is away from the rest of the team. Maybe we should send down some spades to keep her company."

...

The Community Center

"I know you may not like the life of business, but it's time you got serious with it." Vanessa's mother told her as they were walking around. "I'm not talking about a small business either. I mean a big and guaranteed successful one."

"But what if I don't want to go into business?" Vanessa said.

"You will." Her mother claimed like Vanessa doesn't have a choice, something Vanessa doesn't want. They were about to go inside and have Vanessa check out the business related courses and such, but that was put on hold when a set of spades showed up and was looking for a fight with people getting scared. "What are those things?"

"Just stay back, Mom." Vanessa said as she went on the attack despite her mother being against it. The spades surrounded her, but she fought back. One tried thrusting it's spear, but she moved it aside and kicked it back. She gave another one a roundhouse kick and knocked it down some stairs. Some of them tried attacking her, but she jumped down some stairs and avoided them. A couple came at her and grabbed a hold of her, but Vanessa kicked off from one and flipped over. She got her arms free and smashed the two against each other. When one attacked her, she moved past the weapon and smacked it right in the chest with her giving it another good hit. When two more came at her, she jumped up and did a split kick to knock them down. She made sure that was the last of them and it looked like it was.

"Vanessa...!" Her mother said as she didn't know what to say. "What was all of that? Where did you learn to fight like that?"

"That's...complicated." Vanessa said as she wasn't sure how to answer. Thinking her friends might need some help, she knew she had to go. "I've got to go."

"Go where? Vanessa, you need to grow up." Her mother said as she was putting her foot down, but Vanessa couldn't take it if she's preventing her from helping her friends.

"Mom, stop!" Vanessa said. "Look, I'm sorry if you don't like ot, but I'm quite fine with my life. I know I might need to make some changes, but what I don't need is a parent coming down on me. It's my life, and there's somewhere I need to be now." Vanessa just left it at that and ran off despite her mother's protest.

...

The Rangers

The other rangers followed Zenon and Gargirk to the warehouses. They tried their best to fight the two of them off, but they were both tough and powerful. All four of them were beaten to the ground and could be in real trouble.

"No getting away this time." Gargirk claimed.

"I told you they would be back, straight to their demise." Zenon said as they were ready to finish the rangers off.

"You boys haven't forgotten about me, have you?" They all looked and saw Vanessa joining in the fight. "I just got in a bad mood, and I feel like taking it out on the two of you."

"Careful, Vanessa." Finral said.

"Get them, girl." Asta cheered.

"Are we suppose to be scared? You pathetic rangers can't beat me." Gargirk said.

"Let's find out. Come and get me if you dare." Vanessa said as she took off.

"Is that a challenge? You can't escape me!" Gargirk said as he unfolded his wings and went after Vanessa.

"Wait!" Zenon called.

"We're not done yet!" Asta said as the other four got back up. He and Noelle tried attacking him, but he blocked it with the spear. Luck and Finral took the chance as they both slashed against him and kicked him back. Noelle and Asta slashed against him and were able to keep him out of the way. As for Vanessa, she kept running as Gargirk kept launching attacks at her, but she kept running.

"Stand and fight!" Gargirk called, but Noelle was leading him somewhere as she turned a corner between buildings. "I have you now!" He flew in after her and thought he had her, but he suddenly found himself in a trap. He flew into some sort of web from Vanessa's threads. "Hey! What is this?!" He tried getting out, but he was like a fly trapped in a spider's web.

"A little trap my friend suggested." Vanessa said as she stood before him. "Ever heard of the red thread of fate? Well, I'm changing the color to pink. Why? That's because this is my choice." She cut the thread and caused a power surge through the trap and it ended up with Gargirk being destroyed.

"Vanessa!" Asta called as the rangers regrouped.

"You beat that monster on you own? Awesome!" Luck said.

"Yep. Pink is a tougher color than most people think." Vanessa said.

"You'll need to be tough." Zenon challenged as he showed up and cast his magic. "Urae Methros Cataros!" Once the spell was cast, Gargirk came back as a giant.

"Creation Magic: Titan Power!" The rangers called upon their magic and soon formed the megazord. They wasted no time as they charged right at Gargirk, but Gargirk flew into the sky again.

"You can't reach my level!" Gargirk taunted as he continued to attack them from the sky with it being hard on the rangers.

"He thinks he can't? Let's prove him wrong." Noelle said. They had their megazord take to the sky and fought up there. The two forces fought each other in the sky, but Gargirk was more adapted in the sky and had the advantage.

"What do we do? This guy is a tough one." Finral said.

"I have an idea." Noelle said. Taking control, the megazord flew off and dived into a set of clouds. Gargirk flew in after them, but he easily lost sight of them.

"Get out and fight, cowards!" Gargirk called out as he searched around for them. That was when he felt something grabbed him by the tail and threw him down hard. The rangers weren't done with him just yet as they had power build around the sword. They chased after Gargirk and gave him one powerful slash and ended up destroyed. That marked another win for the rangers and another successful day.

...

The Rangers' Base

"Another win, another day all wrapped up." Finral said as they all regrouped back at their base and savored their victory.

"I loved the part that we flew around, slash against the monster, and he ended up going boom." Luck said.

"You all did well." Julius said, but he kept his eyes on Vanessa. "What about you, Vanessa? What exactly happened with your mother? Is she being more accepting of your choices?"

"I don't know about that, but it doesn't matter." Vanessa said as she was satisfied with things. "I'm not going to let her push me around with what I do with my life. I'm satisfied with it, I've got people care about, and I'll be just fine." Vanessa knew that is true because all her friends supported her. Some parents might come down hard on their kids, even if it is out of love, but all they really should do is just trust in their kids. As long as the child is satisfied with their life and willing to make changes, there shouldn't be much to worry about.
