Chapter 63. The fickle seer

On Monday.

Snape knocked on the door, pushed it open without waiting for a sound, and went into Headmaster's office. When he strode inside, he saw Dumbledore standing in front of the window.

Snape: "There you are!"

Dumbledore didn't mind his breaking in, he gave a glance of him, then moved his sight out of the window at the game on the Quidditch court.

"Slytherin's game has always been so rude." Said him.

Snape was sharp and remembered the seer Della Bush who said that Slytherin had left when fighting against the Dark Lord.

He didn't think all of them were traitors, but he wasn't sure whether they would or not leave at that time.

The most irritating thing was that Della Bush, who made such an important "prophecy", couldn't remember the names of those Death Eater!

The only person she remembered was Malfoy!

And him.

As well as a "mad woman".

He should say, the description was so accurate that they immediately figured out who the mad woman was.

At least when she couldn't make more detailed predictions, Dumbledore guessed that the Dark Lord must have gone to Azkaban and released all his men when he was free.

Ms. Black, at the same time, was the second one in the Black family to be put in Azkaban, Bellatrix Black.

She adored the Dark Lord.

Snape used to think she was insanely in love with him, that cruel devil.

Dumbledore recently had been attacking Fudge, the Minister of Magic. He had found many people to comment on Fudge in the newspaper, and even scolded him.

Their goal, of course, was to find out the person in Della Bush's prediction that "an official from the Ministry of Magic who had become a professor".

She didn't remember the name!

Even man or woman was not clear!

She said she remembered it's a woman, but it could be a man. She had no confidence in her memory.

Dumbledore was gentle to her as if he was doting on his little granddaughter. He never forced her to remember, would not let her drink potion nor cast spell to her to help with her bad memory.

So he turned around and attacked Fudge.

He thought as long as Fudge hated him more, he would send the man in the prophecy to Hogwarts.

"If he… should have survived, I must push Fudge to arrest him, but he won't believe me. Yes, we will certainly have a conflict, and then, well, he will send one of his cronies, who he trusts very much, to watch me." After Dumbledore said that, the Daily Prophet became Fudge's execution.

The cockroach lady also play a huge role. Although she was mediocre when she was a beetle, her combat effectiveness in the newspaper couldn't be underestimated after she was released. She could write the report as if people had been persecuted, his actions had caused serious consequences if people continued to condone him, sooner or later he would take away the fried eggs on the children's breakfast plate.

It's really scary.

Everyone began to resent Fudge furiously.

"I got a letter from the Ministry of Magic." Dumbledore pointed to the table, "they said they would send a high inquisitor."

Snape: "For what?" Dumbledore: "Fudge found a reason, they come to investigate whether there was any violation in the Triwizard Tournament."

Snape sneered, "it must have labour his wits a lot, maybe he drank a lot of Wit-Sharpening Potion!" As the Minister of Magic of the UK, he initiated an inquisition into a tournament held in the UK, in which the British gained the champion, was whether legal or not.

……

Surely Fudge was going to be mad.

He was suddenly attacked, and Dumbledore himself hinted that he was behind the scenes, so Fudge immediately prepared to move in on him.

"When are we going to start with Azkaban?" Snape asked.

Dumbledore shook his head, "as long as there's no Dark Lord, Azkaban is safe. It comes the last. Did you find that spell?"

Snape: "I have a clue."

This was the answer in Snape's modesty.

Dumbledore was finally willing to ask him to sit down, "what's it?"

Snape took out the magic book and pointed to the spell on it: "…Bone of the father, flesh of the servant, blood of the enemy… would gain new life and strength…"

Because Della mentioned the cauldron, Snape had to find all the incantations related to the cauldron, which narrowed down the scope, but was not clear.

—He certainly couldn't expect more information from Miss Seer!

—She remembered Harry Potter's puppy love, Hermione Granger, with whom to go in her first dance, but didn't remember the spell that brought the Dark Lord rise again.

If all the seers were like this, he thought, he could understand why they had been criticized so much in history.

"I think the fresh of a servant is easy. It's not hard for the Dark Lord." Snape spoke very fast, he was a little excited, "and this also explains why Potter would participate in the Triwizard Tournament. There will be a lot of people in the game, and for the sake of fairness, he will leave his friends, stay alone for a long time, it's easy to be caught. There's no one better suited to be the enemy of the Dark Lord."

"As for his father, I don't think anyone in the world knows…" Snape shook his head.

Therefore, to prevent him from coming back to life, you had to find out where the body of the Dark Lord's father was buried, destroy his bones, get rid of all his servants, or continue to guard Harry Potter.

Dumbledore nodded and stood up. "It's very helpful. The inquisitor will be here in a few days. Tell Minerva to receive her well."

Snape got up, too. "You already knew who he is? Are you going out?"

Dumbledore didn't respond him anymore, "close the door when you leave, and I may be away for a few days."

Snape had to go out.

On Saturday.

Hermione was reading the newspaper.

She never skipped any page, even if it's full of articles criticizing Fudge, it's useless.

But this may be her only "weakness".

She must have been OCD when she was reading.

Della looked at the later editions first, since the later contents were more interesting.

She happened to see an article about a black wizard who destroyed two Muggle cemeteries. One was in a small village, the other was a Catholic cemetery in London. The minor victim was the Catholic cemetery, with only one grave destroyed, while all the coffins in the family cemetery in the small village suffered.

"Why did the black wizards blow up Muggle graves?" Della was puzzled in the new hobby of those black wizards.

Fred immediately responded, "it might be fun. They all hate Muggles — who's the woman up there?"

Everyone raised their heads and looked up at where the professors were sitting.

A woman in a pink suit made quite a performance of sitting down next to Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape, both of whom were not looking very good.

Professor Snape also took time to stare at Gryffindor's long table.

Della felt that Snape was staring at her.

Why?

Who's this woman?

She cast an uninterested look and continued on her breakfast.
