Zagred has betrayed the Dark Triad. His true plan was to sacrifice them for the true devil lords to emerge into the human world. Zenon survived thanks to Yuno, but Dante and Vanica are gone. On top of that, something is happening to Asta. The others gathered Asta and tried to keep him covered from those three.

"Asta! Asta, wake up! Can you hear me?" Vanessa said as she tried to get him to wake up, but he wasn't doing anything.

"Guys!" All of them looked and spotted Noelle was able to find them. "What's going on? What happened to Asta?"

"We'll explain later, but we should get out of there." Finral said. They were all being cautious about the new devils, but they got a little freaked when the one named Lucifero turned to them. They readied themselves for anything.

"Don't bother, rangers!" Zagred claimed. "If you had a hard time against those three foolish humans, you don't stand a chance against these three."

"The human world... I actually forgot about all the smells and sounds." Megicula said as he took in what the world was offering.

"I must admit that I'm impressed, Zagred. I had my doubts, but you actually managed to pull it off." Beelze admitted.

"All I did was for you three." Zagred said as he bowed to them. "Now, if I may, I say we finish those humans over there off." The rangers readied themselves for a fight. Just before anything could happen, blasts of darkness came out of nowhere with a wall of wood forming in front of the rangers.

"Rangers!" They all looked to see Yami and Vangeance were arriving to help them.

"What are you two doing here?" Vanessa questioned.

"No time." Yami said as he lifted up Asta. "Can't believe this one is getting beauty sleep now. Open up a dang portal and let's get out of here!" Finral didn't bother arguing. He opened a portal and they all hurried inside just before the wall was torn apart. Luckily, they all managed to escape, but they have a brand new threat to deal with. As for Zenon, he kept a low profile and slipped away when he had the chance. With Dante and Vanica gone, what is going to happen to him now?

...

The Rangers' Base

The rangers brought Asta back to their base. Thanks to Vangeance and Yami helping them out, they were able to escape. However, Asta still hasn't waken up. None of them could understand what was happening to him.

"I don't get it. What's wrong with him? Now isn't really the time to be getting beauty sleep." Yami said.

"He passed out!" Noelle said to defend Asta.

"Where did you two even come from?" Luck asked.

"We detected the dark power and simply followed it. It would seem we got there in time." Vangeance said. "Julius, they have returned. Lucifero, Beelze, and Megicula have all now entered this world." Julius needed to sit down for that. This was the worst news he had to hear.

"Who are they?" Yuno asked.

"Lucifero, Beelze, and Megicula were the leading devils from when the Magic Knights fought them all those years ago." Julius explained. "All of them are powerful. I had no idea those siblings were connected to those three dangerous devils."

"How is it those three can even be here? The seal should have kept them back." Yami said.

"While that is true, I fear the seal that kept the devils away grew weak." Julius theorized. "The actions of the Dark Triad may have caused the seal to weaken, and the actions of this Zagred have made the situation worse. The Dark Triad seemed just as surprised and ended up being sacrificed, but it fits that of devil's nature."

"In other words, the Dark Triad were just being used for this moment." Vanessa claimed.

"These three are more dangerous than the Dark Triad." Julius said. "However, I believe we still might have a chance. I just hope that Asta awakes. It's going to take all of you to defeat them." All of them were hoping Asta would wake up, but what's wrong with him?

...

Asta

"Hello!" Asta called for he had no idea where he was. "Hello?! Where am I?! Anyone here?!" Asta had no clue where he was. All he could see was that the space was an ominous red.

"You finally came." Asta turned around and could see someone else. This guy was coated in all black with black eyes with him having white hair. However, he also had wings, a tail, and horns. This guy was clearly a devil. "I've been waiting for you."

...

The Underground Castle

"Here is where those foolish humans have been using their base." Zagred said as he showed his three bosses the base of the Dark Triad. It was their base now. "There's even a connection to the Netherworld here. Everything that is here now belongs to the three of you."

"Not bad." Megicula said. "I suppose it will service for now." The three of them took in their new home, especially Lucifero as he just took the seat on the throne. "It will certainly help us, but what are we going to do now? We might have been brought back to this world, but I feel our powers are limited."

"That might be true, but the more chaos, havoc, and fear that spreads through the human world, the more the gates will open and the more our power will return to us." Beelze claimed.

"That sounds interesting." Megicula said. "Through Vanica's eyes, I know those rangers will oppose us. They will certainly be interesting to play with. That is until we crush them. Lucifero, what shall we do about them?" They all looked to Lucifero, but he didn't seem interested.

"Do you send a king to crush the insects that pester the commoners?" Lucifero said as he spoke to the first time. He thought dealing with those rangers would be beneath him.

"In that case, allow me to go, Great Lucifero." Zagred said as he was already on his way out like a loyal soldier. "They are no match for me. It's time to finish them.

"In fact, I think I'll tag along just to see how this all goes." Beelze said as he followed after him.

...

The Rangers Base

The rangers all waited around for Asta to wake up, but nothing was happening. They had other things to worry about when they saw the crystal ball alerting them of danger. They all took a look and spotted Zagred spreading terror through Clover Meadows.

"It's Zagred again. He's back." Vanessa said.

"Not now. What do we do?" Noelle said.

"What else? Go and kick butt." Yami said like it was that obvious.

"Don't worry about Asta. The rest of us will remain and watch over him, but this is your battle." Vangeance encouraged them. The other rangers understood the situation and took off, but they do hope Asta awakes for him to join soon.

...

Clover Meadows

Zagred made his way to Clover Meadows. He caused all the chaos and havoc that his bosses wanted. It also got the attention of the rangers as the five of them arrived.

"Rangers! I was hoping you would show!" Zagred said. "I can finally finish playing with all of you. You're a bunch of fun toys ."

"We're not your toys, and play time is over." Yuno said.

"It's only over when I say it's over." Zagred said as he took out his spear and went on the attack. The other rangers took his challenge with the five of them fighting him off. While they were fighting, Beelze remained out of sight and watched. He was rather curious to see what the rangers can really do.

...

Asta

While the rangers were all fighting for their lives, Asta was facing his own devil. He didn't have a clue as to what was going on, but he wasn't afraid.

"You want a fight? You got one." Asta said as he reached for his morpher, but he noticed it wasn't with him.

"You can't morph here because we're inside you." The devil said. "Besides, if I was here to fight you, don't you think I would have attacked you already?" Hearing that voice, Asta felt like he heard it before.

"Hold on. You're the same voice I've been hearing, say you wanted to be let out." Asta said. He was getting a strange feeling about this, but he's loosing the desire to fight this guy. "Who are you?"

"My name is Liebe. I'm actually here to offer you my help. When I kept saying I wanted out, I meant I wanted out to help you fight those devils." Asta couldn't believe what he was hearing. A fellow devil was offering to help him fight devils? "Are you that surprised? Just because I'm dark and black doesn't mean I'm evil."

"I don't understand. How are you inside me? You're a devil but you want to fight devils." Asta said.

"I'm about to share with you you're origin." Liebe said as he was showing images, starting with a woman that looked similar to Asta. "This is Richita. This woman is actually your mother." Asta couldn't believe it. This was the first time he ever saw his mother. "Your mother was actually kind and carefree. She even helped me out."

"Helped you?" Asta questioned.

"You see...I'm a devil, but I was weak." Liebe explained as he showed images from when he was younger and being attacked by other devils. "I was much weaker and smaller than most devils. In the Netherworld, power truly is everything. Most devils are practically animals. The seal that keeps them in the Netherworld is designed to resist their power. That's where I differ since I was greatly weak, and weaker after getting beaten around. It was almost like I wasn't even there." Asta saw an image of a small Liebe being thrown to where the seal was. He passed through easily since he didn't have much power. "I soon found myself in the human world."

"And my mother found you." Asta claimed.

"Wow, you are smart." Liebe said as he showed images of a hurt Liebe in the woods where Richita found him. "I was surprised that she helped me. She thought I was a hurt child, but she saw I was a devil and still managed to help me. It didn't matter to her at all what I was. Since I had nowhere, she took me in." The images changed around with Richita taking care of Liebe like any mother would take care of their child.

"My mother really did all that for you?" Asta questioned.

"She was as kind as they get." Liebe said. "She even touched the heart of me, a devil. However, all those times would soon end. Richita became very sick and didn't had much time left. She didn't have the money for medicine. It was only a matter of time, but she did leave something behind."

"Me..." Asta said.

"That's right, but she didn't have much time after she was born." Liebe said as he showed Richita leaving Asta at the church he was raised in. He could also see Richita had tears in her eyes on letting him go. "She hated to do it, but she did if for your sake. She had hope that you would have a good life."

"But what about you?" Asta questioned.

"As if there would be any other human that accepted me." Liebe said. "I wasn't welcomed where I cam from, and the rest of the world wouldn't have accepted me. Richita... My mother... Our mother...wanted to make sure we were both safe. So, using whatever little power I did have, I merged myself with you." The final images were showing Liebe merging himself inside a baby Asta's body. "I've been inside you, watching you. I know what you're up against. I felt my power grew, and a time like what happened now is what allowed me to finally speak with you for the first time."

"You were watching over me all this time." Asta said as this story amazed him. "You want to help me fight these guys? Those fellow devils were cruel because they thought you were worthless." That's the sort of thing Asta hates. "If everything you're saying is true, let's work together." He held out his hand as he feels that he can actually trust Liebe.

"Just like that? You believe me?" Liebe said. "I am a devil, and you fight my kind."

"Yeah. It's just a feeling, but you said it yourself. Just because you're dark and black doesn't mean you're evil." Asta said. Liebe felt like he was staring right at Richita, the closest thing he had to a mother. Liebe took Asta's hand as the two of them formed a bond that awakened a new power. With that, Asta awoke and felt stronger than ever.

...

Clover Meadows

The other rangers tried their best to fight off Zagred, but it wasn't looking good for them. Zagred attacked each one of them and they all dropped to the ground.

"This is almost too easy." Zagred said as he feels he already won.

"Not yet." Noelle said as she tried to get back up, but Zagred stepped down on her and kept her from going anywhere.

"Don't bother. There's nowhere to run now." Zagred said as he was ready to finish her off. With him raising his trident, he was set to end this.

"Let her go!" All of them looked with the rangers surprised but happy to see Asta was up and about with him morphed and set for a fight.

"You? Am I suppose to be scared now that you're here?" Zagred said.

"You will be with my new partner. Are you ready, Liebe?" Asta said. Out of nowhere, a small dark creature jumped right on Asta's shoulder with none of them having any idea what that is. "Let's do this together like my mother wanted. Black Knight Armor!" He called upon a new power with him and Liebe joining together. Asta was given new armor. He was given dark horns and devil wings on his back. Black gauntlets and armored boots were placed on Asta. Black armor was placed right over his upper chest with a face of devil placed on it. He was even given a new massive sword.

"What is this?!" Zagred said as all of them couldn't believe what they just saw. "What power am I sensing? It's similar to that of a devil?"

"That happens to be my adoptive brother: Liebe." Asta said.

"I don't know how you got this power, but you still can't beat me! Tempest of Blades!" Zagred unleashed his attack, but Asta easily deflected the attack with impressive strength. Asta showed off what he could really do when he took to the sky and could actually fly. Zagred tried blasting him, but Asta flew out of the way of each attack. Asta flew straight at Zagred and held out his massive sword. Zagred tried stopping him with his trident, but Asta smashed right through it and struck Zagred with it.

"Let's see how you fly without using the wings." Asta said. He gave Zagred another powerful slash and sent him flying down the street.

"You can't beat the likes of me that easily." Zagred said as he got back up. "There's no way a human could defeat me."

"Oh yeah?!" Asta taunted as he flew up to the sky. "Demon Slayer!" Asta swung his sword a couple times and unleashed powerful slashes that blasted against Zagred. "Magic Destructor!" Asta decided to finish this as he gathered energy in his giant sword and unleashed a powerful red beam. The blast hit Zagred with much destructive damage. Zagred couldn't believe this was happening to him as he actually ended up being destroyed.

"Asta, that was amazing!" Finral said.

"Way too cool!" Luck said.

"This is rather interesting." Beelze said as even he was fascinated by what happened. "Let's see how he deals with this." Beelze was using the same spell that was used before, but without the use of the words. Zagred was revived as a giant.

"Now I'm mad in a big way!" Zagred claimed.

"This guy just doesn't know when to quit." Vanessa said.

"Time for the megazord." Yuno said.

"Wait. I've got this one." Asta said as he stepped forward and faced him alone. "Let's do this, Liebe! Creation Magic: Black Knight Megazord!" Asta flew straight into the sky and formed his own megazord. He formed a megazord that looked like a black knight with wings and horns. Asta was placed in a red orb inside to allow him to control the megazord. The surprises just keep coming and the rangers are all impressed by it.

"You think you're bigger and better? Think again!" Zagred called as he charged right at him. He tried attacking him, but Asta took his megazord's giant sword and swung it against Zagred and knocked him back. "I don't understand this! What is this power?! How can you have the power of a devil?!"

"Long story, but it's not an evil power. It's a power that will help me destroy you." Asta said. He swung his giant sword again and smashed it against Zagred. Zagred tried fighting back by blasting at him, but Asta was able to push through the attacks. Asta gave Zagred a powerful punch and knocked him down.

"This can't be happening! Not to the likes of me!" Zagred said as he refused to accept what was happening.

"Time to finish this!" Asta said as he gathered power into his megazord's sword. "Black Knight Vengeful Slash!" His megazord swung down the sword and it slashed right through Zagred in one clean strike and it was able to finish Zagred off.

"You can't do this to me! You will never destroy us devils!" Zagred called before he ended up destroyed and was finally out of the picture thanks to Asta and Liebe.

...

The Rangers' Base

"He is so cute." Mimosa said. After the fight, the rangers went back to the base. They all had so many questions for Asta. Especially ones about Liebe. They all kept poking and petting him like he was a little hamster, and it was really getting to him.

"Knock it off!" Liebe shouted as he was getting annoyed by all of it. "What do I look like?"

"Sorry, but this is all rather weird. A devil was inside Asta and he wants to fight with us?" Finral questioned. "Just when you think things can't get any crazier around here."

"I'm just glad for the help." Asta said as he took Liebe and placed him on his shoulder. "Mom was right about you, Brother." This turned out to be one crazy adventure so far.

"This new power you have is impressive. Too bad I can't stick around to see it." Yami said as he and Vangeance were ready to leave.

"Yami and I will be gone for a while." Vangeance said. "We're going to look for a way to seal the devils away for good. Now that Lucifero and those other two are roaming free in this world, it's imperative that we stop them for good."

"Vangeance has a point." Julius claimed. "The Dark Triad might be gone, but the situation has become much more severe. Lucifero and the other two devil lords will be just as challenging, if not more so, to defeat than they were." The rangers can see that things have changed around, but they're not backing down.

"We can take it." Asta claimed.

"You said it, Brother." Liebe claimed.
