Clover Meadows might have it's problems that the rangers can handle, but it's not the only place. In the middle of the night, at a station that's just outside Clover Meadows, a train pulled up. Someone carrying a large bag jumped off the train and hurried into the cover of the darkness as fast as you can.

"It's no use! You can't run from me!" The guy looked up to the top of the train and saw a strange figure standing at the top of the train.

"You were destroyed! How did you come back?!"

"You of all people know the powers of the miraculous! There's no limit to what they can do! Akumas!" The mysterious figure summoned strange purple creatures that had some features similar to butterflies appeared. "Get him!" The creatures called akumas tried attacking him, but the man had some moves that allowed him to fight them off. When he was cleared, he took off into the dark to try and hide. "You can't run from me forever, Francis! You will be mine!" The man named Francis continued to run as he was trying to keep something safe, and he was heading straight for Clover Meadows.

Morning

It was just another day for Asta and his friends. They all worked at Timeless Meals and went on with the day. Finral did take a break when he looked on his phone and noticed something he found amusing.

"Listen to this, guys." Finral said. "Some people have been reporting strange figures around the area."

"Devils?" Vanessa asked.

"I don't think so." Finral said. "All these claims are somewhere outside of Clover Meadows, but none of them sound like devils or something."

"It's probably just a bunch of wild claims like Big Foot or UFOs. It's not really something we should be thinking about." Yuno said as he thought it was no big deal.

"Still, weirder things have happened. We of all people should know that." Noelle said. None of them were aware of the truth that was really happening.

"I'm with Finral and Noelle." Mimosa claimed. "There could be something weird going on out there, but I suppose it's not much of a problem if it's not in Clover Meadows. These sightings have happened in different areas. There's no telling where these strange things are."

"Everyone! Come up here!" Julius called for his team. Looks like they might have spoken too soon. All of them hurried upstairs to see what was going on.

"What's going on, Julius?" Asta asked.

"I'm detecting a strong power. It entered the city just last night." Julius said.

"Lucifero and the others are at it again. Figures." Yuno said as he believed they're the ones to blame for what's been happening.

"Actually, I don't think it's them." Julius said. That certainly sounded strange to all them. "The power I'm sensing is not that of a devil's. I'm not entirely sure what power it is. I've never seen anything like it before."

"A strange and mysterious power that even you don't know about? Sounds like it's a lot of fun!" Luck said.

"If it's not them, who could it be?" Asta questioned. "Liebe, do you know anything about it?"

"Can't say that I do." Liebe said as he appeared on Asta's shoulder. "If it's not devils, I've got no idea what it could be." None of them liked the sound of that. This all sounded rather strange to all of them.

"There's only one way to find out what's really going on." Asta said. Deciding they need to check this out for themselves, the rangers went on ahead to find what this mysterious power is.

Clover Meadows

Asta and the other rangers hurried to investigate this strange power. When the ran into town, they spotted something strange. Something they aren't use to dealing with. There was an entire squad of purple creatures that had butterfly features and carried sabers.

"What are those things? They don't look like spades." Vanessa questioned.

"I'm not sure. They don't look like devils at all." Yuno said.

"Look!" Noelle said as she pointed ahead and spotted someone was being cornered by them. "That man needs help!"

"Let's give it to him!" Asta said as they all reached for their morphers.

"Mana Morpher! Magic Calling!"

"Heaven's Morpher! Magic Calling!" All six of them morphed. They wielded their sabers and charged in. They may not know what those creatures are, but that didn't let that stop them from helping someone who needed it.

"Hang on! We're on our way!" Asta said as he slashed right through the strange creatures and tried to reach the man that needed help.

"I'm not helpless!" The guy said as he only looked corner. What he did was flip from the wall and got behind the enemy. He spun around and kicked them down. This guy clearly had some martial arts moves and it impressed the other rangers.

"Wow! That guy has some serious moves!" Finral said.

"Yeah! He would be one heck of a guy to fight!" Finral said.

"Later, Luck! Let's take these weirdos down!" Noelle said as they all kept their focus on fighting the enemy. The man flipped his way through the enemy until he stood next to Asta and kept his guard up.

"What's going on? Who are you?" Asta asked.

"Later." The man said as he was keeping his focus and made sure the bag on his back was secured. "These creatures are called akumas. I've faced them many times before. They want what's in my bag."

"What's in there?" Asta said.

"I told you I'll tell you later. We just need to get rid of them." Two akumas came at him, but jumped up and did a split-kick with Asta helping him out by swinging his sword against others. The rangers kept fighting against the enemy until the last akuma dropped to the ground and were defeated. The rangers weren't sure what happened, but their new friend could help with that. "What was that about? Who are you?"

"My name is Francis, and I'm glad I found fellow rangers."

"Fellow rangers?" Noelle questioned.

"I was once a ranger myself. I'm the Red Miraculous Ranger." Francis said. All of them were amazed since this is the first time they're meeting another ranger. "Listen, I need your help."

"You won't be going anywhere." All of them were faced with a monster that looked rather fancy.

"Hawk Moth..." Francis said.

"You've alluded me for too long. Even if you have other rangers here to back up you, I will not stop hunting you down." Hawk Moth claimed. "I even have a couple friends to help me with that." He snapped his fingers and two new monsters arrived. One was all white like snow with white armor and white wings. She also had short blue hair that curled out. She even carried a bow-like weapon. The second one was dark and black with a red cape. He also looked like he had dark skull-like extensions on the side of his head. "I like you to meet my two new royal servants. She's Cransell and he's Trisku. It's amazing what you can create these days."

"I don't know what's going on, but you're clearly bad news." Asta said as he and the other rangers readied themselves for a fight. "You're not going to do anything without getting through us."

"That won't be a problem." Hawk Moth claimed as he wasn't backing down. "Attack!" Hawk Moth's two monsters charged right at the rangers with the rangers facing all three of them. The girls tried fighting Cransell. They tried using their sabers, but Cransell blocked each attack. She even swung her leg around and smashed it against both of them.

"Come on, ladies. You have to do better than that." Cransell taunted.

"No problem!" Vanessa claimed. She and Noelle jumped up and tried to strike her, but Cransell jumped back at the last second. She used her bow and fired energy arrows with both of them getting blasted. Finral and Luck tried fighting Trisku, but he was a tough one. His skin was like stone and he was able to deflect each of their attacks. Luck tried attacking him with his saber again, but he grabbed Luck's arm and twisted it in a painful manner.

"Stop that!" Finral demanded as he tried to stop him, but Trisku painfully grabbed him to. He smashed them against each other and threw them back.

"Let me give you a hand." Trisku said as he unleashed energy hands to grab both of them. He unleashed a serge of power and they both took even more damage from it. That left Asta and Yuno to fight off Hawk Moth himself. They tried to fight him off, but he used his cane to block every one of their attacks. When Yuno swung both of his swords, Hawk Moth blocked it. He moved both swords away and smashed his cane against Yuno with him getting knocked down. Asta tried attacking him, but Hawk Moth blocked that attack and held him back.

"What do you want with him?" Asta said.

"That's really none of your business. Just know that I will destroy everything and everyone!" Hawk Moth declared as he pushed Asta's saber away and used his cane like a sword. He slashed against Asta a few times before he jabbed him with his cane and sent him flying. All six of them took some damage as these were powerful opponents. Francis hurried over to them and tried to help them stand.

"Forget about winning this fight. We need to get out of here." Francis said.

"I'm with him. We need to figure out what's going on." Vanessa said.

"Give me some cover." Finral said.

"Luck, back me up." Yuno said. They both used their magic to try and keep the enemies away. That allowed Finral to open multiple portals for all of them to dive in and were able to get out of there.

"They're gone!" Trisku claimed.

"We'll find them, Master." Cransell claimed.

"I know we will. Rangers can't stay away forever." Hawk Moth said. The three of them got moving, but none of them noticed Megicula and Beelze hanging back and saw the whole thing unfold.

"Those are some interesting characters." Megicula said.

"Indeed. Perhaps they might be of some use to us." Beelze said. The devils joining forces with Hawk Moth would be nothing but trouble for everyone.

...

The Ranger's Base

Thanks to Finral, all of them were able to make it back to their base. The rangers were luckily able to recover, but they don't have a clue what was going on. They were interested that there was another ranger, especially Julius.

"Amazing! This is the first time we're meeting another ranger!" Julius said.

"Uh... Okay... Could you maybe back up a little?" Francis said as Julius was making him uncomfortable.

"Okay, no more stalling. I think it's time you told us what's going on." Yuno said. "Who or what were those things? Where did you even come from?"

"I will. Let me start from the beginning." Francis said as he was explaining. "First of all, I come all the way from Paris."

"Paris?! That's quite a journey from all the way here in clover Meadows!" Mimosa said.

"Seeing as how you all know about magic, have any of you heard of magic gems called miraculous?" Francis questioned, but none of them did. "They are the manifestation of a power called the Miraculous Power., a power with the ability to reshape reality."

"Reshape reality?!" Asta said as none of them could believe a power like that actually existed.

"I've heard of them, but I never believed they were real." Julius said.

"It is. Any wish the wielder has can be granted. I was part of an order of guardians that are meant to protect that power; me and Wang Fu, my teacher." Francis said. "A power like that does not come without a price. The greater the wish, the greater the price must be paid. So, in order to help protect this power, the guardians found a way to combine it with ranger powers."

"That's how the Miraculous Rangers were formed." Finral said. "What about this Hawk Moth?"

"Hawk Moth was the identity of a man named Gabriel Agreste. He had his own miraculous gem, but you need the ones of the rangers to unlock their full power." Francis said. "Gabriel's negative feelings and thoughts corrupted his miraculous and it caused him and Hawk Moth to become two separate entities. This Hawk Moth is pure evil. He successfully drained us of our powers, but we still managed to defeat him and we thought he was gone for good."

"So, if you defeated him, how is he here?" Noelle said.

"I don't know. Somehow, he used the powers of the miraculous to bring himself back from oblivion, and formed those two monsters." Francis said. "There's no telling what damaged he's done from that alone."

"But if your powers are gone, why is he after you now?" Mimosa asked.

"He has no human consciousness. All he lives for is destruction." Frances said. "Now, there's one thing he wants more than sheer destruction: revenge. He wants revenge on me and my team, and it's not enough just to make us disappear. He wants us to suffer."

"What about the rest of your team? Are they all okay?" Vanessa asked.

"They are. He's starting with me." Francis said.

"But what do you have that he's after?" Asta questioned. Francis reached for his bag and pulled it out: his old morpher.

"I held on to this for sentimental reasons." Francis said. "This was my morpher, but it doesn't have power anymore. However, Hawk Moth knows how a ranger acts. He knows I'll try to find someway to restore my powers. He's trying to prevent me from doing that."

"Is there a way to restore your powers?" Yuno asked.

"I really don't know." Francis claimed as he is in a tough situation.

"Maybe there is." Julius said surprising everyone. "Maybe I can transfer some magic power to your morpher, but I'm not sure if I have enough."

"Wait. What if we helped? We each can transfer our own powers to help with that." Asta suggested.

"Would that really work?" Francis questioned with some hope.

"Only one way to find out." Julius said. All of them were in full agreement with that. Francis held up his morpher with all the rangers and Julius holding their hands over. Each of them focused their magic and transferred it into Francis' morpher. Magic was flowing into it and it looked like there was some sort of reaction out of it. That's when the true results showed as Francis morphed into his red ranger attire right there.

"I can't believe it! It really worked!" Francis said as he was amazed he actually got his powers back. All of them were happy that they were able to help. However, the crystal ball was alerting them of the danger again.

"It's them again." Mimosa said.

"Well, now that I have my powers back, let's try to even the odds in our favor." Francis said as he was offering to help. All of them were ready to get back out there.

...

Hawk Moth

Hawk Moth and his two monsters were doing what they did best: causing sheer destruction and not caring who got hurt. He knew that would surely draw out the rangers. That was when they saw a portal opening up and seven rangers hurried out of it.

"That's far enough!" Asta said.

"You want me, Hawk Moth? I'm right here." Francis said.

"I see you managed to restore your powers." Hawk Moth said. "No matter. I shall still have my revenge from when you and your friends attempted to stop me."

"That's what you think!" Francis said.

"Francis and his team stopped you once, and we'll help finish the job!" Asta claimed as all of them went straight for the attack.

...

Timeless Meals

When the rangers are in action, Timeless Meals is usually closed. However, someone ignored that and walked in. A group of people came walking right in and made their way straight up to the second floor.

"Do you think the rangers can beat them?" Mimosa questioned.

"I sure hope so, but we're dealing with a force we're not familiar with." Julius said as they watched things unfold, but Mimosa looked and saw whoever it was that was there.

"Julius..." Mimosa alerted him of their arrival with both of them being surprised that anyone was there.

The Fight

Francis tried to stop Hawk Moth once and for all with help from the Magic Knight Rangers. While the others were fighting his two henchmen, Francis and Asta fought Hawk Moth directly. Francis tried striking him, but Hawk Moth caught his fist and smashed his cane against him and threw Francis to the ground. He was about to attack Francis some more, but Asta blocked his attack.

"Miraculous Slasher!" Francis pulled out a massive sword. He swung it straight at Hawk Moth. He was able to block the attack, but was pushed back. Seeing that, his two monsters regrouped with him to defend him. "Give it up, Hawk Moth!"

"Never!" Hawk Moth denied.

"We'll just take you out then." Asta said as all seven rangers charged straight at them, but they played into the enemy's hands. Cransell and Trisku unleashed a combine attack that blasted all seven rangers. Hawk Moth joined in as he unleashed a devastating attack of his own by firing a powerful energy blast. All seven rangers got caught up in it and took serious damage. Even with seven rangers, they could be in real trouble.
