"You fools!" Lucifero shouted. "How is it two of the most powerful devils are not capable of defeating these mere humans?!" Lucifero has run out of patience. He sees no reason as to why they shouldn't have defeated the rangers yet.

"Easy for you to say since all you've done is sit on your butt." Beelze whispered, but it did not go unnoticed by Lucifero. That's why he brought some pressure down on him to try and crush him.

"Would you care to repeat that, Beelze?" Lucifero questioned.

"Lord Lucifero, please try to calm yourself." Megicula said as he stepped in. "We may have not defeated the rangers yet, but the gates have opened more and more. We're close and this world will be ours once it happens. Do try to keep that in mind. We just need to be a little more patient."

"I'm running out of patience, Megicula. You better have some sort of plan that unleashes the powers of the Netherworld." Lucifero said.

"I have, sir. May I present to you Manticrude." Megicula let in another devil. This one was a manticore-like creature with him having his horns curving behind his head and the tail of a scorpion. All he really did was snarl and snap like any other wild animal. "He might not be that intelligent, but what he lacks in intelligence, he makes up for it with power."

"You better be right about that." Lucifero warned.

"You'll see. Besides, I have something in mind for one of the rangers." Megicula said as he got something sneaky up his sleeve. "I do believe I might have some fun with this. Let us go, Manticrude." He was on his way out with Manticrude following.

"Beelze, what about that other human? Any sign of him?" Lucifero questioned.

"Not yet. He's alluded us so far, but he can't hide forever." Beelze reported.

"Very well. For now, just focus on assisting Megicula. I want those rangers gone." Lucifero said. Lucifero is tired of all the waiting and the defeats. He wants to see to it that the rangers are done for and this world is completely destroyed.

...

Noelle

Noelle was starting another day. She got herself ready and left her house. She just went out the front door and was heading for Timeless Meals. Only got about a few feet from her house when she was overcame with this sensation that she was being watched.

"Hello?!" Noelle called. She could just feel someone's stare at her...and she was right. Megicula was actually watching her from the top of her mansion. When she turned in that direction, he was already gone. "If someone is there, you're not going to scare me so easily!"

"Noelle..." She could hear someone say her name and looked around for it. She soon spotted Megicula by some trees before he ducked down behind them.

"I saw you!" Noelle called as she went right to where he hid, but saw he was already gone and didn't seem him anywhere. Not liking where this was going, Noelle hurried on her way and hoped she make it to Timeless Meals soon. While her back was turned, Megicula continued to watch her.

"Oh, Noelle... I just know we're going to have some fun together." Megicula said as he can just imagine how things were going to be when he encounters her.

...

Timeless Meals

Julius was trying his best to keep track of the actions of the devils. He had hoped Yami and Vangeance found something, but there was no wood from them yet.

"There you are." Asta said when he and the others helped themselves as they walked into the base. "What are you doing?"

"I must admit that I'm growing more and more concerned." Julius said. Julius being concerned has the others concerned. "The devils are growing stronger and stronger, but we're no closer to stopping them for good. While we have won all the battles, we need a more permanent solution."

"Are you afraid Lucifero and the other devils are going to plan something big?" Finral asked.

"We can take anything they throw at us." Luck claimed.

"Luck is right. We've done rather well so far." Vanessa said. "We just need to hear from Yami and Vangeance. They're the ones that are trying to find a way to seal those guys away forever. Once that's done, we'll be able to take them down for good." As long as they all remembered what they're fighting for, they have hope that this will all end one day.

"Hey, guys." Noelle said as she came up.

"Hey, Noelle. Are you okay?" Mimosa asked.

"Not really." Noelle said. "I think Megicula is stalking me or something. I thought I saw him on my way here, and I've been thinking about something he told me the other day. If I didn't know any better, I say Megicula has some interest in me."

"Why would that creep be interested in you?" Vanessa asked, but Noelle had no clue. However, there was no time to talk about it as they all saw they were being alerted of some trouble happening in Clover Meadows.

"Here we go again." Asta said.

"They never learn." Yuno complained. Once alerted, the six rangers hurried off to stop whatever threat they were dealing with now. When they left, Julius sighed and had his mind puzzled.

"Julius, are you sure you're okay?" Mimosa asked.

"Just thinking of something." Julius said, but he was rather concerned about something. "I'm worried Megicula is getting closer to Noelle." He spoke to himself. "If he does, I fear she might learn the truth."

...

Factory District

Manticrude was attacking everything he could. The workers in the factory district were running for their lives and tried to get out of there. He rampaged through the area, but the rangers showed up in time with Luck firing lightning at him and blasted Manticrude to get his attention.

"Hey, ugly! Anyone ever tell you it's not nice to break everything." Asta said. Manticrude just snarled and growled at them. Looks like they weren't going to get much talking out of this one.

"What's wrong with this one? Cat got its tongue or something?" Vanessa taunted.

"I'm afraid you aren't going to get much talking out of Manticrude, rangers." All of them looked behind them and saw Megicula was there. "Manticrude isn't really the best devil to have a conversation with."

"I knew you were somewhere close." Noelle said.

"What can I say, Noelle? You're quite amusing to play with." Megicula said. "It's always fun when I get to do THIS!" Megicula unleashed some of his power with him blasting all of the rangers. He didn't stop there as he flew straight at them. He grabbed a hold of Noelle and carried her away.

"Let me go!" Noelle demanded.

"Very well." Megicula said. He let her go, but only after he smashed her against a wall and threw her down.

"Hold on, Noelle!" Asta called as the others hurried to help her.

"Manticrude, get them!" Manticrude stepped in the way of the other rangers. He fired green lightning from his eyes and blasted all the other rangers. "Let me add a little help. Spades!" Megicula called in for some spades to join in the fight and attacked the other rangers. None of them could get through to help Noelle.

"You're through, Megicula!" Noelle declared as she tried to fight him alone. She swung her saber at him, but he flew right over her and landed further down.

"Come and get me, Noelle." Megicula dared as he ran off.

"I'm going after Megicula!" Noelle called to the others before she chased after him.

"Noelle, wait!" Asta called as he tried to go with her, but Manticrude got in the way as he smashed his claw against Asta and knocked him to the ground. "You want to play it that way? Bring it!" He and the other rangers tried to force their way through the enemy, but that left Noelle to face Megicula alone.

...

Noelle

"Megicula, where are you?! Show yourself!" Noelle called as she searched around for him.

"Here I am!" Megicula called as he showed up right in front of her. He swung his claw at her and knocked Noelle back. He didn't stop there. Megicula grabbed her, threw her in a wall, and slashed his claw against her when she bounced against the wall. "Don't disappoint me, Noelle. I want this to be quite amusing."

"Why are you so interested in me?" Noelle questioned. "Are you and Vanica just that twisted or something? Is that why you lent her some of your power."

"Why don't you come and find out for yourself." Megicula dared.

"Fine! Have it your way!" Noelle said as she took Megicula's challenge and fought him alone.

...

The Rangers

While Noelle was trying to defeat Megicula by herself, the other rangers were trying to deal with Manticrude and the spades. They were trying to get through them fast so they could help Noelle.

"Move it or lose it!" Asta said as he tried slashing his saber against Manticrude, but Manticrude was a tough one. His claws also did some damage to Asta. Manticrude twirled around and used his scorpion stinger tail and smashed it against Asta. He got knocked down, but was able to get back up. "We need to get these guys out of the way to help Noelle!"

"Not a problem. They're going to drop like dominoes!" Yuno said as he used both of his swords to slash through the spades. "Time to go for a spin!" Yuno spun around and formed a twister with his wind magic to blow the enemies away.

"They really think these morons can stop us?" Vanessa said as she used her saber to deflect the spears that were thrusted at her and slashed against the soldiers. "You guys appeared to be all tied up." Vanessa cast a series of threads and tied them around the enemy. Once she did that, she smashed the spades against everything she could.

"Going up!" Luck said as he jumped on top of a truck. "This part is going to be fun." Once he gathered some power around his saber. He jumped right down and smashed his blade against the ground and unleashed an explosion of electricity against the enemy.

"Don't these guys know they shouldn't play in areas like this." Finral said as fought some of them off and pushed the spades together in one spot. "Here's what happens when you do." He opened a portal right under them. When they fell through, they ended up in the factory and crashed against a bunch of supplies and such.

"Time for you to get out of the way!" Asta said. He focused his power around his weapon. When he did that, he slashed against Manticrude and pushed it back, but Manticrude was still standing. He clearly wasn't going to go down easily. "Yuno, help me out with this guy. The rest of you go and help Noelle."

"Are you saying you can't do this without me?" Yuno taunted.

"Is now really the time for this? I just don't like that Noelle is facing Megicula alone." Asta said.

"Don't worry. We've got this." Vanessa said as she, Finral, and Luck tried to get their way around the fight. However, they didn't get very far as another figure came out of nowhere and attacked the three of them, preventing them from going anywhere. They took a look and saw it was Beelze.

"Beelze? What is he doing here?" Finral said.

"Did you really think I was going to let Megicula have all the fun?" Beelze said. He shot bone-like projectiles and blasted all of the rangers with them. "None of you will be going anywhere." With Beelze helping out, the rangers can't get to Noelle to help her. Why is it Megicula wants Noelle alone?

...

Noelle

Noelle continued to fight off Megicula on her own. He was a tough opponent, but Noelle pushed through anything he could throw at her. Megicula fired more attacks at her, but Noelle rolled towards him. She avoided the attacks and got ready to attack. Noelle swung her saber at him, but Megicula used his saber to block her attack.

"Not bad." Megicula commented.

"I'm just getting started!" Noelle said as she broke away from him and kicked him back. "I've had enough of your games, Megicula. What exactly do you want with me?"

"Keep trying, Noelle. You'll get your answers soon." Megicula taunted. Noelle didn't like this. She feels like there's something he's not saying, but when he does say it, she believes she's not going to like it.

...

The Rangers

Yuno and Asta tried to defeat Manticrude while the other rangers were busy dealing with Beelze. Both of them tried swinging their sabers at him, but Manticrude blocked their attacks and blasted the both of them.

"He really is one tough...whatever he is." Asta said.

"You can say that again." Yuno said. The others weren't doing much better against Beelze as he was able to hold off on all three of them. When close combat wasn't working, Luck jumped back.

"Eat this!" Luck called as he shot lightning from his saber, but Beelze jumped up and avoided it. He aimed his hand right at Luck and fired bones from his fingers. Luck got hit by the attack and was knocked down. When Beelze landed down, Vanessa and Finral tried attacking him from behind, but Beelze had his bones shoot out like spikes and smashed against both of them.

"How is he doing that with his bones?" Finral questioned.

"I don't know, but I'm getting sick of it." Vanessa said. Despite how things were looking for them, they refused to give up. "Come on, boys! Let's kick it up a notch!"

"Saint Power: Saint Magic!" All three of them unleashed their Saint Power and changed forms.

"Even that won't be able to save you." Beelze claimed.

"You guys have the right idea. Liebe, are you ready?" Asta asked. Liebe appeared right on Asta's shoulder.

"Always!" Liebe claimed.

"Black Knight Amor!" Asta changed and was now in his own armor. Asta flew right at Manticrude and tried attacking him, but Manticrude was able to catch his attack. "You've got to be kidding me!"

"I've got this!" Yuno said as he managed to get behind Manticrude. He slashed both of his swords against Manticrude's back and forced him to let go of Asta. That allowed Asta to slash his sword against him and knocked him down. Even after that, Manticrude still managed to get back up.

"Up we go!" Asta said as he flew up into the air. "Magic Destructor!" Asta fired his beam from his sword and blasted Manticrude with it. Manticrude took some serious damage from that attack and ended up destroyed. The other rangers tried to fight off Beelze. All three of them tried attacking him, but he eventually shot his bones out like porcupine quills with all three of them getting struck.

"This was Megicula's idea, but I suppose I should lend a hand in it." Beelze claimed. He used his powers and caused Manticrude to rise again with him being a giant. Manticrude didn't waste any time with destruction. He launched his attack from his eyes and blasted around the rangers with him already causing destruction to the city. "Let's see how you deal with him now."

"This could be a problem." Finral said. "We can't form any megazord without Noelle."

"It looks like it's you and me, Yuno." Asta said.

"Got it." Yuno said.

"Creation Magic!" Both of them used their magic and formed both of their megazords. That left the other rangers to deal with Beelze.

"Haven't you all had enough, yet?" Beelze taunted.

"Not even close! Saint Magic: Fateful Threads!" Vanessa unleashed her magic threads at him, but moved to the side and avoided the attack.

"We've got to get this guy out of the way so we can help Noelle." Finral said.

"No worries. I think I have a way to get the drop on him." Luck claimed. Meanwhile, the Yuno and Asta were trying to fight off Manticrude. Yuno tried thrusting his megazord's spear forward, but Manticrude caught it. He smashed his claws right against Yuno and knocked him to the ground. Asta came from behind and grabbed a hold of Manticrude, but he used his stinger and smashed it against Asta's megazord and got free. Even with both megazords, they can't seem to stop this monster.

"Give it up, rangers." Beelze taunted.

"Not a chance! Asta showed us what happens when you never give up!" Vanessa claimed as she kept fighting against him. She charged him and tried to strike him with her sword, but Beelze blocked her attack and kicked her back.

"Face it, the more chaos and havoc that spreads in this world, the stronger we get!" Beelze said.

"But not smarter! Saint Magic: Thunderbolt Destruction!" Luck unleashed his attack at him, but Beelze jumped in the air. He avoided another attack, but Luck expected that. "Now!" Finral opened a portal right in front of Luck's attack and redirected it. The attack came back around and blasted at Beelze at point-blank with him getting knocked out of the air.

"Nice plan, Luck." Finral said. Meanwhile, Yuno and Asta were still struggling against Manticrude. He unleashed powerful blasts at both megazords with them taking some damage.

"I've had enough of this! Yuno, let's put an end to this!" Asta said.

"I'm right with you on that." Yuno said. He was the first to charge in. Manticrude unleashed more of his power, but Yuno endured and kept going. "Light Spear Strike!" Yuno gathered all the power he could and thrusted his spear right against Manticrude. Asta joined in as he unleashed his megazord's finishing move and slashed right through Manticrude and destroyed him.

"It looks like it's time for you to give it up, Beelze." Finral said.

"Not quite. This isn't over just yet." Beelze said as he retreated for now.

"That takes care of them, but what about Noelle?" Asta questioned.

...

Noelle

Noelle continued her fight with Megicula. She wasn't backing down or giving up. The two of them kept striking at each other until they were forced to separate from each other. Megicula just couldn't stop laughing from amusement.

"What are you laughing about?" Noelle said.

"I'm just feeling nostalgic!" Megicula said. He unleashed another attack and blasted Noelle hard that she was force to demorphed. Despite the damage she's taken, Noelle was still standing. "You're a persistent one, Noelle. You're just like someone else I know, in looks and in skill."

"Huh?" Noelle questioned. "Who are you talking about?"

"I believe I already know the answer, but I have to ask." Megicula said. "Are you related to Acier Silva?"

"That's my mother's name?! How do you know my mother?!" Noelle questioned.

"Oh dear... You really don't know the truth, do you?" Megicula questioned.

"The truth about what?" Noelle questioned as she doesn't like him talking about her mother.

"The truth of the matter is your mother was a Magic Knight." Megicula claimed.

"What? That can't be true." Noelle said.

"Oh but it is." Megicula said. "You're mother was indeed a knight, Noelle. She was quite powerful as she was graceful, and I was the last opponent she faced."

"No... You're lying!" Noelle said.

"Am I? How else would I know about your mother if I was lying?" Megicula said. Noelle wasn't quite sure if she could believe him, but she doesn't see a reason he would lie. Megicula remembered that battle well as Acier was a powerful opponent. "Your mother was a powerful opponent, but I left her a little something before I was sealed away: a curse."

"A curse?" Noelle questioned.

"That's right. When I placed that curse, I sensed a small bit of life inside her. I'm now starting to believe that was you." Megicula claimed with Noelle having a hard time coming to grasp with this. "That curse was meant to drain away her power. She must have used every bit of strength she had to keep you safe from my curse. Already in a weakened state giving birth, I can only imagine that leading to her ultimate demise." Noelle was beginning to think this was all true if Megicula actually knows all this.

"Hold on... That means... That means what really happened to my mother was all your doing!" Noelle claimed.

"I suppose it is. She was one of my favorite opponents." Megicula taunted. "I can't imagine what it must of been like for you, her, and your family. To a devil, it all sounds...wonderful." His laughter taunted Noelle and she couldn't handle it. A lifetime of misery was standing right before he, and he's taking pleasure in all of it.

"You... You monster!" Noelle shouted as she blindly charged at him to attack, but he just vanished and disappeared. His laughter at Noelle's misfortune could be heard echoing all around. A painful truth has finally been learned.
