Also this chapter will have some well-known clichés so read if you guys are okay with it, if not then get out of here if you're just going to bash me on it.
Tenacious Kaiju beats Cold Specialist
Winter was not having a great day, correction she was not having a great possible week.
It has only been two weeks since the White Fang's attack on her grandfather's birthday along with her grandfather's miraculous recovery from his long-term dust exposure which let him bed-ridden for years.
The attack by the White Fang should've been expected they attack the Schnee Manor with the entire Schnee family along with many other influential people.
The attack was repelled but still left some damage that had to be fixed.
While a part of Winter wish that she could stay longer to with Weiss duty from the military came first before family and Weiss knew that.
And Winter first assignment is going after the White Fang.
This recent attack by the White Fang has just showed how bold and dangerous the terrorist group is getting if they are willing to attack a party in the middle of Atlas filled with a garrison of Atlassian soldiers along with her and General Ironwood.
Furthermore was the embarrassment the military has suffered due to being overtaken by the attack.
The attack left many wounded on both military personnel and civilians attending the parties and a few unfortunately died, the casualty count would've gone higher if it wasn't for the intervention of that Faunas they brought a few days prior.
The Faunas name Gojira was the whole reason why an entire military garrison was at her childhood home in the first place as the General made the grounds around the manor the testing grounds for an experiment for radioactive energy that Gojira seem to wield.
Winter didn't like the man for his attitude towards her and General Ironwood and her dislike for him continued to grow. But without his help the White Fang attack couldn't have been push back.
But the attack now lead her to this, intel came in from the scouts that were sent out into the western parts of Solitas to for possible White Fang activity. They reported some strange occurrence out in the nearby mountains where they saw a weird flash of light happening and heard something crash into the ground, the scouts would've investigated the site but the area where the crash happen was in Grimm infested territory.
General Ironwood was about to send out a team to investigate, but Winter volunteered this surprise the General but since the attack was on her family the General understood Winter's intention so he let her go on this with a squad of soldiers, but Winter preferred to do this alone.
After General Ironwood gave her permission to go on the mission, Winter took the necessary transport and supplies with her and headed off.
It wasn't long before she arrived at the location where the scouts made their findings, after battling her way through the usual low-level Grimm, Winter finally made it to the crash site.
There wasn't anything much than the usual with a large crater surrounded by broken down trees, Winter was about to investigate further but the sound of fight could be heard nearby.
Rushing to the source Winter found a battle going on with Grimm of various forms rushing towards something. What the Grimm were rushing towards was clearly pitted against them as Grimm were sent flying away with torn off limps.
And at the center of all this was a single man.
Upon closer inspection, the man was a faunas by the obvious appearances of his long tail with spikes at the tip and the patches of scales on his arms. He looked to be around Weiss's age but was almost as tall as the faunas Gojira only short of a few inches to the giant of a man. His body was lean but muscular like Gojira's, the man was poorly fit for the environment they were in a his only article of clothing he was wearing was a rag cloak, ripped jeans, no shoes, and a brownish colored shirt with visible tears all around it.
Another factor about the man was that he was handsome, his face look as though it was sculted by artisans from Mistral, yellow-brown eyes, his hair slick back with the same color as his eye and the way they were form look like spikes. With his face and his current wear the man look like some sort of rouge but unlike many rouges this one seem to be a diamond among the rough.
But if Winter's experience with handsome men has taught her anything is that handsome men are not great people she would want to associate with much less on a professional level if her interactions with Gojira were anything to go by.
Winter watch as the faunas dispose of every last Grimm by himself, she would've help out earlier, but the man clearly look like he didn't need help. Winter watch as he kill a Sabre Grimm the Alpha which was twice his size using only his teeth as she saw the man bite down on the Alpha's neck and effortlessly tear it off killing the Grimm.
Winter had seen Grimm die in various ways before due to her profession but never had she seem someone kill a Grimm in the most savage way possible.
Winter kept her guard up as she put down her pack and approach the man to question him but unfortunately the man attack her forcing Winter to fend for herself.
The battle should've been easy for Winter as the fight with the Grimm should've exhausted the man but no the man clearly had a lot energy to spare.
Winter was confident in her skills and abilities but whenever she tried to land a strike on the man he swiftly dodge all of them, this was nothing new to her this just meant that the man had a good reaction time.
It was hardly over an hour into the fight and one was for sure, this man annoyed Winter.
With Gojira Winter hated the way the man got under her skin, but this man just outright annoyed her.
He was constantly taunting her as he kept getting back up as though my attacks weren't anything serious.
The man clearly had no regards for his own personal safety as he kept charging at her. This recklessness served as nothing more an advantage Winter used against the man to make strike all over his body.
But despite managing to down the man a few times he just kept getting back up like all the pain she inflicted on him were nothing. He easily brush all of them off and just kept on fighting.
Winter couldn't believe how tenacious the man was, the amount of pain she'd inflicted on him would make any lesser man even a veteran Huntsman and Huntress forfeit the fight, but like before the man kept getting back up with no sighs of exhaustion.
Eventually Winter became exhausted, too tired to fight that she was left defenseless as the man came in and sent one punch to her face knocking her out.
When Winter came too, she found herself in a cave and across from her was the man that knock her out. On instinct she reach for her weapon only to find it gone, she turned to the man to find that her weapon and her pack were with him.
In her current state Winter couldn't possibly fight the man in such an enclose space even without her weapon, maybe her summons could help her but her options were severely limited by the space provided.
Seeing the futile situation she was in, Winter sat down as the man explained the situation, after the fight he brought her to the cave as a blizzard was approaching, this was evident by the blizzard itself raging outside. Blizzards were a common occurrence that happen out in the wilds of Solitas, but if a blizzard was coming this way then why wasn't she informed about this?
Questions aside the fact remain that this blizzard had trap both her and the man inside the cave they were in.
Food wasn't an issue as she brought enough rations to last her a week and as for water she can simply boil the snow outside with the fire dust crystal she brought.
Unfortunately for her the man didn't have any food of his own, she could've denied to share hers but the fact remain that the man spared her and brought her to safety so for the sake of repaying her debt to him and getting answers Winter relented and shared supplies with him.
A few days in the cave and the blizzard doesn't seem to letting up. Winter could try to make her way to a nearby settlement, but the closes one is only a few miles away and with the blizzard it'll be hard for her to navigate given the limited vision the blizzard is producing.
But in that time she got to know the man, turns out his name is Anguirus strange name and that he was a dinosaur faunas a rare species of faunas that are very secluded to one island in the world and they hardly every leave so no one ever meets one in their life.
Anguirus explained that he doesn't know how he ended up here in Solitas or even know where Solitas was located which was odd as Solitas is one of the five continents if the Island of Menagerie was included in the world and home to the Kingdom of Atlas, everyone knew this but Anguirus didn't.
Winter tried to get as much info out as she could, but everything she ask was met with the same response that Anguirus didn't know. It surprise her that this man didn't know a single thing about Remnant where literally everything that everyone knew was basic knowledge, questioning Anguirus further would be a wasted effort, so Winter stop questioning him for the remainder of the blizzard.
It wasn't until later that Winter notice something about Anguirus.
"Wait…why are you wet?" She ask curiously.
"What?"
"I ask why are you wet?" Winter repeated.
"Oh that well because I just took a bath." He answered.
"What?"
"Yeah
"That's because your always asleep when I take one so you never notice." He replied
"But how do you take bath there's no settlement nearby."
"Oh actually this cave is connected to an underground hot spring, that's where I go to take a bath."
"What!?"
Winter could not believe this man it was one thing to have beaten her which wounded her pride as a Specialist, it was another thing to annoy the whole time they've been together during this blizzard but for him to not inform her that they had access to a hot spring this whole time while she's been getting filthy and he's been getting clean was completely unacceptable to her.
When Winter ask him why he didn't tell of this before his response was the damning cliché of "You never asked."
(Later)
Right now Winter is currently bathing in the hot spring, after Anguirus showed her the path to it she quickly went to it wanting to finally rid herself of the dirt and grime on her.
Her clothes were neatly folded nearby as she allowed to herself to sink into the water that was heated to the perfect temperature.
"Aahhh this feels great." Winter said.
"You said it."
Turning her head Winter saw Anguirus naked with his lower body submerge into the water sitting across from her.
"What are you doing here!?" Winter shouted as she instinctively covers herself with her hands.
"Uh what does it look I'm doing? I'm taking a bath same as you." Anguirus says obviously as if the situation was normal.
"But I'm currently using it so get out!"
"This spring is big enough for the both of us I don't see why you have to hog it to yourself." Honestly Anguirus didn't know what Winter's deal was, he thought that humans bathe together all the time.
One of the few humans he interacted with back on Monster Island told him how his kids bathe together as well as him and his wife in the shower, hell even his fellow kaiju King Caesar(Caesar for short) told him that where he comes from humans bathe together all the time in places called bath houses.
As for Winter she couldn't believe what she was hearing, did this man not know anything about common decency. A man can't just be in the same bath as a woman it was common knowledge.
"Wait didn't you take a bath earlier? Why are you here now?" She ask.
"Can I not take more than one bath?"
"Wha-."
"Look Winter I don't see what the problem is I mean a friend of mine told me that people in his homeland take baths together all the time."
"What?" She question.
'What kind of friend told him that?' She thought as this friend of his must've been some sort of pervert.
"Yeah my friend Caesar told me that people go to these bath places and take baths together all the time, so I don't see what's the big deal is here."
Wait now that Winter thought about it there was a trend in Mistral of places called bath houses where people can just go and take a bath with separate sections for each gender and even having a section where people of both genders can take a bath together.
Honestly when Winter heard such a thing she thought it was completely absurd on why people would want that, the men would enjoy it for their perverted reasons but woman? This was one of the things she would never understand about Mistral.
But it now made sense why Anguirus was so unfazed by being in the spring with her, he thought that she would be okay being in the same bath as her because of what his friend Caesar told him.
This made her believe that his friend was probably Mistralian.
"Where does your friend come from?" Winter ask.
"I don't really know just that it somewhere East." He replied.
That just confirmed that his friend was Mistralian.
While it was understandable that Anguirus would believe such thing due to his lack of knowledge about the world that still doesn't excuse him of the fact that he was in the spring with her.
Letting her anger get the best of her Winter stood up forgetting that she was naked and the address the man.
"I don't care what your friend said about humans bathing together I want you out of here now!" She shouted.
Anguirus dive down into the water, Winter was unprepared as he came bursting in front of her grabbing her arms in a tight grip with his face an inch away from hers.
Winter face blush red and it wasn't due to the heat but rather by the close proximity she was and by the fact that when she look down below Anguirus waist to see his…extra member, Winter eyes went wide at the sight of it.
Winter sometimes had fantasies about men's extra appendage from her ahem…favorite novel 'Cold Heart, Hot Love'. But she only such fantasies in her most private times when there wasn't work that needed to be done.
But when she saw Anguirus 'part' she couldn't believe how big it was and most shocking of all it wasn't even erect!
This made Winter shudder at the thought if the whole thing became excited.
But Winter then remember the situation and stared back at the man thinking that he might assault her but he didn't and instead just stared right into her eyes full of determination.
"What the HELL is your problem!?" He shouted. "I want to take a bath simple as that, if you're angry that I didn't tell you about the spring then I'm sorry but don't start bitching during bath time."
"Now here's what we're gonna do, we're going back into the water and we are just relax and enjoy the bath okay."
Winter simply nodded as Anguirus slowly drag her down back into the water. Seeing that Winter wouldn't try anything Anguirus let her go.
"See we're just here to enjoy a bath no need to get hostile about." Anguirus said remembering all those times he went to Caesar's bath house and bathe with some of the other kaiju, it was one of the few pleasures he and the other kaijus had on the island before it got destroyed by that asshole Kaiser Ghidorah.
While it sucks to lose his home Anguirus was just happy to be in a bath again, so he wanted to enjoy this while it lasted, he didn't need Winter to ruin this for him.
"Winter why can't you be more relaxed about things?" Anguirus ask.
"I can't afford to be relax not when I'm needed."
"Needed?"
"Yes as a specialist of the Atlas military I can't let myself fall below standards."
"Ah your military, figures only you military types are this stuck up." He said.
"It was either join the military or be stuck under my father's rule."
"What do you mean?" He ask.
"My father has made my life a nightmare ever since I was born, joining the military was my ticket to freedom and the only way I can stop my father from making others suffer like me."
"Then why not kill the guy?"
"I can't do that."
"Why?"
"Because one it's illegal and two he's my father, with the amount of power he wields he's basically untouchable, I can't do anything with suffering the consequences and he gets off scot free."
"Winter that's your problem here you're too stuck up, you're how you human say 'by the book' I mean you gotta learn to follow your gut like me."
"Pfft as if I'll ever be like you."
"Winter if a guy is being an asshole especially if that guy is your dad and your gut tells you to punch him in the face, then punch him in the face okay do not hesitate to punch that guy in the face. Show that guy that he needs to learn to shut the fuck up or else a fist is coming his way not just for him but his friends too because by the sound of it your dad is a coward always making other do his dirty work." He tells her.
"I can't do that you don't know what it's like to spend your life with a man like that as your father and with the way you are clearly your parents aren't like mine."
"Winter… my parents are dead." Anguirus said shocking Winter. "They died years ago."
"I'm sorry I didn't know." Winter apologize regretting what she said earlier.
"I don't need your sympathy Winter it's all in the past now and I'm way past grieving."
"To be honest I can hardly remember my parents." He says. "After they died I've been doing nothing more but fight, that's all I ever cared about. When was my next fight gonna happen, who will I face, is my opponent going to be a challenge?"
"I've been fighting for so long that I can't even remember their faces." Anguirus admitted.
Even though Anguirus said that he didn't need sympathy Winter couldn't help but feel sorry for the man. Winter figured that Anguirus grieved for his parents by constantly fighting but in doing so he lost the memory of his parents.
"Don't you want to remember them?" Winter ask.
"Not really." He answered. "Don't really see the point in remembering them, not like it's gonna help me in any way. Being part of a family never really interested me even before my parents died."
"But I think that all change when I became an uncle to Gojira's sons."
"What?" Winter surprise at the information she was given.
"Well like I said I became the uncle to Gojira's sons."
"He has sons?" She ask. Winter remember Gojira mention something about his family at one point but never really talked about. Maybe this was a good chance to find out more about that man's history as well as Anguirus relation towards him.
"Yep their names are Minya and Jr. mischievous little guys, always playing around but always ready to fight like their old man."
"I remember when Gojira first introduced me to them, at first they were a bit scared of me because I was a stranger but they eventually warm up to me and in time they began to see me as their uncle."
"…It's nice you know… having someone look up to you knowing that you're very being is an inspiration to someone else to help them strive to become better than they are."
"I mean never much care about being part of a family only thinking of my next fight, but when I became those boys uncle things just felt different for me." He said.
"I felt for the first time in ages that I was actually needed by people, to be apart of something greater than myself, to actually have a reason to fight instead of fighting for the sake of it. And my reason were for those boys, they admire their father for being strong while for me they admire my will to never give up."
"I became a symbol for those boys, another role model for them and the feeling for that never goes away, I can finally feel proud of myself for something." Anguirus turn to Winter. "Did you ever get that feeling Winter? The feeling that you're someone else's inspiration, their role model?"
Winter looked down at the water, she did know what it feels like to be someone's inspiration. When Weiss was born Winter knew that she would be expose to the same cruelty their father gave her when she was growing up, she spent years protecting Weiss as best she could but even she knew that she was still powerless against father.
Still all those times spent with Weiss made her younger sister look up to her and Winter felt happy that she became a strong female role model for Weiss in their childhood. Unfortunately the same couldn't be said for their little brother Whitely as Winter grew older she strive to become stronger and in doing so she had a lot more priorities on her mind with her attending Atlas Academy to become a warrior like her grandfather Nicholas Schnee and leaving for the military after graduating.
Winter can only blame herself for not being there for Whitely unlike what she did for Weiss
Winter was so focus on her desire for Weiss to be her own person that's not tied down by their father's cruelty and greed but to be free to find her path in life like she did, that she completely ignored her younger brother.
Well with what happen weeks prior she aimed to fix that as best as she could.
Looking back at Anguirus, Winter saw that he'd fallen asleep with a relax smile on his face as he savored this moment of comfortability in the hot spring.
Seeing his relaxed face Winter decided to do the same, she closed her eyes and just let body sink into the perfect temperature water of the spring enjoying it for as long as she wanted. Eventually she fell asleep and became unaware that her body ended up leaning on Angurius and reacting on instinct grab hold of him as if he was a body pillow.
It won't be until later that Angurius woke up to find the Specialist holding him and for a kaiju with new human-like instincts that finally kicked in he reacted…as expected for guy in certain…areas.
He carried her out of the spring, dried her with the only absorbent thing they have, their clothes and with great difficulty dress her after drying the clothes of course.
When Winter woke up later and found out what the man had done…let's just say happen next is a story for another time involving swords and claws.
It was the end of the week and the blizzard has finally ended allowing the two cave-dwelling occupants to leave.
The two made their way to Winter's transport, it was still there but the blizzard had left the vehicle frozen, Winter could warm the vehicle and with time get it back to working order, but she preferred to report back to the General as soon as possible.
"So Anguirus what do you plan to do now?" Winter ask curious.
"Well I plan to go somewhere warm; I can't stand the cold of this place anymore." He says.
"Well if it's somewhere warm you want then how about the Kingdom of Vacuo that kingdom has nothing but hot temperatures, if not that then Vale would suffice with mild climate." Winter said.
"Hmm…I don't know maybe I give them a shot."
Anguirus was about to turn before Winter called out to him.
"Wait before you go please lean down a bit I have something for you." Winter told him.
Anguirus lean down as instructed and when he did he felt something on his cheek.
What he felt was Winter's lips press against his face as she place a kiss on him.
Reeling back from the action Anguirus stared at Winter with wide eyes as for Winter she gave him a small smile with a light blush on her face.
"I'm sorry but that is the best I can do to give you thanks right now for saving my life." She says.
"Well shit you didn't have to do that I mean it wasn't much it just felt right." Anguirus said with a slight blush of his own, he may be a bit dense, but he knew a sign of affection when saw one and Winter just showed hers to him.
Seeing the man's reaction Winter gave a small chuckle something that Anguirus hasn't seen her do in the past week.
"Well despite everything it was a pleasure to meet you Anguirus."
"Yeah well it was nice meeting you too Winter." The tenacious kaiju replied before he began to burrow himself into the ground and tunneled his way to the coast.
Winter stared at the spot the man dug into wondering how he could dig so fast with only his claws before turning around and heading for the nearest settlement wondering if the two of them will meet again.

Hey every this is Nicdragong8 coming out with a one-shot.
Pardon any grammar mistakes I may have made. I know I could've done this better but I want to get this out.
Take note that since this is a collection of one shots it will not be a full-on story so don't fuss about it. And yes Winter did seem OOC in this, I'm not great in keeping people in character so deal with it.
I was inspired to write this after reading one of my favorite fanfics 'The God of Destruction comes to Remnant' by DragonKingDragneel25
Check out his story it's awesome with every chapter making you want more.
Anyway I was interested to see which kaiju from the possible perspective of his story will make a great pair with someone from RWBY.
This does not mean that this is actual canon with that guy's story, this is just for fun.
Also for the whole bath thing going on with King Caesar, I look up some other Godzilla media stuff and found the show Godzilla Island and in the wiki I think it said that King Caesar open his own bath house that all the kaijus went to.
Anyway let me know in the reviews on which kaiju you want to see pair up and I'll consider making a chapter for it.
