Tenacious Kaiju beats Cold Specialist Part 2

Another day and another mission Winter was on.

It had been a few months since her time back home in Atlas where she met Gojira and his best friend Anguirus.

After that time order was restored to Atlas after the White Fang attack and things for her family's company began to take a turn for the better.

Thanks to her, Weiss, Gojira, and some other influential people that her father made enemies out of her father's crimes were exposed and in doing so he was strip of his status as CEO of the company.

But unfortunately that left the position empty and seeing as she could not take due to her duties to the Atlas army, her sister Weiss despite being the heiress to the company could not take the position as she was still not legally an adult, and her Whitely was far out of the equation in the matter as well.

The Board of Directors could've taken over the company in her father's stead until Weiss became of age but all of those people were just as corrupt as her father, and with him to rein them in most likely they would tarnish the company's name even more than her father did.

Fortunately her grandfather stepped up and took back the position despite her mother's protest seeing how he was bedridden for years and didn't think it was a good idea to be so active after his sudden recovery.

But her grandfather was persistent and no one could stop him.

So after everything was settled things went back to normal and now here she was in Anima on a mission to investigate the disappearances of ships off the Scalebound coast.

The Scalebound coast was a couple of miles from the Dragon Straits a well known trade route that merchants use between Anima and the islands of the east like Menagerie, but for some reason ships have stopped coming through the route so Winter was assigned the mission to investigate.

A Huntsmen could've taken this job but an Atlas base was situated near the coast and receives supplies from the coastal settlements, so this was more of a military matter in a sense.

A team was sent a few days ago to investigate but they reported nothing unusual around the strait, still merchants still didn't go through it so the CO ask Winter to investigate instead believing that she'll have more luck finding the cause being General Ironwood's top Specialist.

Finally reaching the coast Winter surveyed the area before finding what looked to be a small encampment.

Reaching it Winter to take note of everything there.

'Crudely made tent, wooden crates broken must be cargo from the missing merchant ships, a pile of what looks to be fish bones but no fire pit, if a merchant made camp here why not make a fire pit? No why make camp at all there are settlements a few hours away from here they should've done that first once that took the necessary supplies for the trip.' Winter thought.

"I thought I recognize that smell." A voice said behind her.

Acting on instinct Winter drew her weapon and slashed at the one behind her but her swing was stopped when her sword was caught in the teeth of her thought to be assailent.

Looking up Winter saw a face she didn't think she'll see again.

"Anguirus?"

"Hi." He greeted still holding the sword with his mouth.

(Later)

After their little reunion Winter and Anguirus sat down in the shade of the palm trees.

Winter got a good look at the man and saw that he was still wearing his clothes in the same style like last time. Sleeveless shirt and shorts minus the cloak, the only difference was that the clothes he was wearing looked new unlike the tattered ones he wore.

Shaking her head to remind herself of the mission Winter thought that if Anguirus has been here then he might know something about the missing ships.

"Anguirus what are you doing here? I thought you'll be going to Vacuo." Winter started off.

"Yeah you told me that last time but I didn't know where the hell that was or that Vale place you mention so I just followed my gut and found myself here." He answered.

This made Winter pause for a bit thinking how Anguirus didn't know where Vale or Vacuo was located. Then she remembered that he didn't know where Mistral was when he told her that his friend came from the east.

She would've ponder more but heard a light growl come her stomach.

"Are you hungry?" Anguirus ask.

Winter wasn't hungry perse she had a very light breakfast this morning but already she could feel her hunger rising.

'Sign' "Yes I am." She said, she wouldn't be able to concentrate on her mission if she was hungry the whole time.

"Okay then follow me I know where to get some food." Anguirus got up and started walking.

Winter didn't know what he meant but followed him regardless.

The two walk along the beach for while until they turn the next corner of the many rock formations along the coastline that Winter saw it.

In front of them was a shipwreck lying the beach.

"This is where I've been getting some of my stuff like these clothes." Anguirus said heading inside the hole in the ship hull.

Following him in Winter saw crates everywhere some still intact but the rest were destroyed.

'Wait… these are trade goods.' Winter thought that this must've been one of the missing merchant ships.

'How could the search team miss this? Never mind that they'll be dealt with later for now what could've caused this?'

"Did you do this?" Winter glared as if he was the culprit.

"No I found it like this when I got here." He answered. "I mean I could do this if I tried but it might take some time since these things are always in the water."

Winter doubted that but still what could've caused the ship to become shipwreck. Getting a closer look Winter inspected the damage.

"Hmm Grimm." Winter said.

"What you those black things around here?" Anguirurs ask to which Winter nodded.

"Yes no doubt a Grimm did this but what kind I don't know." She said, yes there were aquatic Grimm roaming the sea and anyone traveling by boat especially one as large as this would've been outfitted with defensives like cannons. Anyone traveling by sea would always have such things on large vessels when travel long distances.

"Anguirus come help me." Winter ask.

"With what?"

"Look for clues on what might've done this."

"I thought you said a Grimm did this."

"I did but what kind of Grimm is what I want to know." She said.

The two spent the next few hours searching the ship for anything that might indicate what kind of Grimm did this but so far their search became fruitless.

"Winter we've been searching for a while now why not take a break?" Anguirus ask.

"We can't."

"Why not?"

"Because we're on mission right now." She said.

"We? I'm not a soldier the only reason why I'm doing this is to help you out." He replied.

"Then help me keep searching for anything that could help know what Grimm did this."

"Why?"

"If the Grimm comes back then we'll to know what it is and formulate the best plan to attack it." She said.

"If it comes then we'll fight it no need for plans I never needed one."

"What a surprise." Winter mumbled sarcastically.

"But for now let's head back to the beach and have some fun." He said walking back towards his camp.

Winter knew that there was no convincing Anguirus to continue helping her so she reluctantly followed him back.

For the next few hours the two spent their time on the beach relaxing but Winter was having a hard time because she was still on a mission and never once slacked off during one, actually slacking off on a mission felt alien to her.

Anguirus tried to help her by doing some activities he does with his nephews.

He told her that since Gojira goes away for a time he leaves the duty of taking care of his sons to him. So everyday he would take them out to the beach to have fun.

Winter tried doing some the activities but she wasn't having much luck in them.

"Seriously my nephews have more fun at the beach than you and all they do is play in the water." Anguirus said seeing Winter fail at even having fun at the beach.

"Well I'm sorry but I barely had time to do such things when I was young." She said.

"Really I knew you military types are stuck-up but I didn't think you're this stuck-up."

"No it wasn't that… it was my father." She admiited.

"That guy again… did you punch him the face?" He ask.

"No why would you ask that?"

"Because the last time you brought him up you made it sound like he was an asshole that deserved getting punched in the face."

"Believe me he does but growing up I barely had such freedom as this because of him, and he rarely took us to the beach because he was too focused on his work."

"Well why didn't you just go to the beach then it's not like you need his approval." Anguirus said.

"That would've been nice if the beaches in Solitas weren't so cold."

"Solitas?"

"It the continent where my kingdom resides, it's where we met." She explained.

"Oh you live in the icy wasteland." He commented.

Ignoring the insult on her home Winter continued.

"Yes and now that I'm in the military I can hardly relax at all."

Anguirus thought for a moment until he perk up at an idea.

"Wait I got something." He said as he rushed back towards the shipwreck and no sooner came back with a pineapple.

"A pineapple?"

"Yep."

Using his claws Anguirus peeled off the skin of the pineapple and then proceeded to make for crudely made slices of them and handed two of them to Winter.

"What are these for?" She ask.

"Simple you put over your eyes and relax." He said.

"What?" Was he suggesting a spa treatment?

"You know just calm yourself relax don't focus on anything just feel the pineapples on your eyes listen to the waves just relax."

"I don't-"

"Look we've tried everything else what's there lose on this one?" He ask.

"Alright fine." Winter closed her eyes and put the pineapples over them and began to relax her mind.

While this was happening Anguirus began to slowly walk away.

Back on Monster Island Minya and Jr. would do this to him sometimes when they played on the beach, they would tell him to hide somewhere while they try to find him but actually they just did that so they could go to sleep, so he thought he can do the same with Winter.

Hopefully she wouldn't notice him gone for a while, but one can only dream.

After a couple of minutes Winter felt calm, her mind wasn't focus on anything not even her mission, she just stood there listening to the calming sound the waves.

"I'm surprise Anguirus this actually feels nice…Anguirus?"

Taking the pinapples off Winter saw Anguirus was nowhere in sight, anger filled her as she realized that she's been tricked.

"Gah I can't believe I fell for that!" Winter shouted walking off to find the man.

It wasn't hard to find him as he was just sleeping under the shade of a palm tree.

Gritting her teeth Winter was about to draw her weapon to stab the man but looking at the nearby palm trees an idea formed in her head.

Grabbing her weapon Winter went to work using her glyphs to make a board and carefully without waking him place Anguirus on the board and let him drift off into the incoming waves.

Once she saw a wave coming she used her glyphs and launch a coconut at Anguirus. Sensing the incoming danger he woke up and caught it with ease.

Blinking his eyes a few times Anguirus got up and saw Winter on the beach and disregarding the fact that he was now on a board.

"The fool." Winter smirked as she saw the incoming wave and watched as it wash the man overboard.

Anguirus manage to swim to shore now completely wet.

"Hahahahha!" Winter began laughing. She laughs so hard she ended up holding her sides.

"Oh so you're having fun huh?" Anguirus said shaking the water off.

Winter took a minute to compose herself. "Ahem yes I am, that was… fun."

"Oh well Winter you pass!" Anguirus said walking towards her.

"What?" Winter asks confused. But before she could ask further Anguirus had already picked her up in bridal carry.

"What are you doing!?" Winter began to blush at Anguirus bold action and the fact that they were close to each other.

"You're finally ready to have fun so let's go!" He said before running towards the water.

"Wait wait no put me down PUT ME DOWN!" Winter cried out but it was too late as Anguirus jumped into the water.

When the two rose up they were soaking wet.

"Hahahaha see how was that." Anguirus said smiling.

"My clothes are drenched." Winter said gritting her teeth.

"Yeah well so are mine." Anguirus replied not really bothered by it.

"I can't just walk around like this my movements would be sluggish from this."

"Then just take off your clothes."

"I didn't bring a spare change of clothes or a bathing suit, you expect to run around naked?" She asked.

"Winter I don't see the problem here. You've seen me naked already and I've seen you naked what's the big deal?" Anguirus asked confused as he seriously did not see the problem in this. "You want me to get naked, so you don't feel left out."

"What NO!" Winter denied. "That's because we were alone but now we're in a public place we can be seen by anyone."

"I don't know about that." Anguirus said. "No one really comes here."

"What makes you say that?" Winter ask.

"Because you're the only person I've seen all week." He said.

"What?"

"Yeah I've literally seen no one I don't even see a ship past by, you're the only one I've seen all this time." He said which made Winter curious until she facepalmed herself.

'That's right no ships have pass through here." Winter remembered why she was out there in the first place.

'Why do I keep forgetting that I'm on a mission right now?' She thought but she soon push the it behind her as she made her way towards the beach.

Once the two were made it back Anguirus began to strip himself.

As for Winter, as much as she didn't want to she began to strip as well but only her uniform as for her underwear she kept them on.

As for Anguirus he took off everything but after a great deal with Winter he kept his shorts on as him running around naked was the last thing Winter needed to see all day.

Winter using her glyphs made a makeshift rack for their clothes to dry on.

Turning she saw Anguirus staring at her.

"What?"

"Why do you keep your hair like that?" He ask. "Why not let it down?"

"Well because it will get in the way when I'm on a mission, I can't fight if my hair is in my eye." She explained.

"That sounds stupid I don't do that with my hair."

"My hair's long your is short that's the difference. Why is this an issue with you?" Winter ask.

"Simple I think you look better that way." He answers bluntly but as blunt as his answer was Winter felt a blush creep upon her face.

All her life she had to keep a prim and proper appearance due to her father wanting to keep up the family's image for the rest of Atlas's higher class and as a specialist she had to keep a dignified look of professionalism, the military didn't tolerate hair styles as there was no need for them why on duty.

Never once did she really have to let loose to just laze around.

But she thought that today can be an exception, it's not like the CO is gonna care about every little detail like letting her hair down on the mission report.

'And Anguirus said he I look better that way.' Winter's eyes widen at the thought as she shook her head. 'No that's not why I'm doing this, the sea water is already irritating my head so it's best to just let my hair down to avoid it.'

Taking her pin out of her hair Winter let the bun on her unfold letting fall down.

"See what I'd tell ya you look better this way." He said smiling.

Winter turned letting her hair hide the blush on cheeks.

With that done the two resume their day at the beach.

(Later)

The sun was beginning to set, Winter now dress back into her uniform after drying for a couple of hours in the sun was about to head back to base.

Looking back she saw that Anguirus was asleep against a palm tree.

She smiled a bit as this reminded her of the week they first met. They were both in the hot spring together, Anguirus told her of Gojira's sons and on how they became his nephews and soon after he was done, he fell asleep next to her.

Now here she was time she spent with the man again during a mssion. He was still obnoxious like a certain crow she knows… but now she tolerated him more now that she was okay being near him and not get a headache.

But now that she looked at him, she took up all of Anguirus features. Like she thought before he looked like a handsome rogue, a great body, tall, strong though his sharp teeth and nails made him a little intimidating but that only added more to his charm.

The longer she looked the more she felt her unrestrained womanly instincts take over as her eyes moved towards his lips.

Winter didn't know why but Anguirus lips looked very enticing right now and the fact that he was asleep added something to that as she drew her face closer to him.

Winter's lips were only a few centimeters away from his but before she could do anything she forced herself back.

'No…this isn't right.' She thought. 'This is only the second time we've seen each other a relationship can't blossom from this.'

And for all knew Anguirus could be doing this because she's a Schnee, for a long time before joining the military many sons of other high-class families have tried to smooth talk her with their charm and family name. She learned early that all those sweet words of theirs were nothing more but a façade because she was a Schnee and having a connection with her family meant their families would have a huge advantage in society.

She spent years listening to the lies behind their honeyed words but then realized that Anguirus has never once lied to her, ever since they first met he had always been straight with her never once telling her a lie. Yes he was rude but he never beat around the bush in their conversations always straight to the point.

Not many people acted that way around her and despite people like him being blunt with her, to Winter it was a nice change to have someone that can act like a normal person without faking kindness because of her family name.

With her thoughts busy Winter failed to notice that something was making it way towards shore. By the time she took notice it was already too late as something shot out of the water and wrap itself around her.

"What!?" Winter shouted as she was being lifted into the air. Turning her head she got a look at what was holding her and saw that it was tentacle, trailing down her eyes widen at what it belong too.

Rising from the shallows of the sea with hit's skin as black as night, red eyes staring at her with a bone mask cover parts of it face was a giant octopus like Grimm.

Regaining her senses Winter struggle to get out of the restraint but the tentacle tighten themselves around her to the point that her aura shattered from the strain.

"Gah!" Winter felt her bones being crush, she had to get of this soon before the Grimm squeeze the life out of her.

She couldn't reach for her weapon and even if she did her arms were restrain by the tentacle.

But before she could even think of death coming for her something came bursting from the ground and latch itself onto the Grimm.

Turning Winter saw that her savior was Anguirus attacking the Grimm.

She watched as Anguirus bit into the Grimm's eye and use his claws to rip it out from its socket.

Screeching in pain the Grimm threw Winter into the rock side as it flailed it tentacles around before rapping one around Anguirus.

"Woah!" Anguirus was being lifted into the air and soon the tentacle around him began to tighten as the Grimm began to squeeze the man.

"Ha you call this a hug my nephews hug tighter than this." He taunted.

Whether the Grimm understood what he was saying or not it didn't care as it wanted to squeeze Anguirus like a grape.

But it didn't happen as Winter came and slice the tentacle free Anguirus from the Grimm's hold.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome, attack the tentacles it won't be able to anything without them." Despite the pain she was feeling she couldn't rest until the Grimm was dealt with.

"Got it." He said as he jump towards another incoming tentacle and began to tear it off.

For the rest of the fight the two tore or sliced off every tentacle off the Grimm's body rendering it defenseless at the loss of its primary method of attack.

Creating a glyph Winter pushed herself to summoned a King Taijitu, the summoned version of the double snake Grimm wrap itself around the Grimm's body and squeezed until it burst into ash.

Dismissing the summon Winter cursed herself for being so careless if she was a bit more on guard then she would've have been attack like that.

"Wow haven't had a fight like that in a long time." Anguirus said watching as the last of the Grimm's ashes floated away. "What was that thing?"

"A Kraken." Winter answered.

"Hmm?"

"That Grimm was a Kraken Grimm." She elaborated.

The Kraken Grimm are one of the rarest Grimm in the world and can only be found at sea, but for one to be this close to shore was completely unheard of.

"This explains what happen to the ships." Winter concluded, Kraken are easily able to destroy ships with little to no effort at all.

Turning Winter saw that Anguirus wounds have around started to close as steam was being emitted from every wound, while he was okay Winter saw that he was looking at her with concern.

"What?"

"You're hurt." He pointed out.

"What?" She ask where he simply pointed at her cheek.

Placing her fingers where the wound was Winter saw that she was bleeding. That was to be expected since she was thrown into a cliffside after her aura went out during the fight and it'll be some time before it recharges.

'Sign' "So it seems."

"Here let me help." Anguirus said as he got close to her.

"What are you-"

'Lick'

"Ahh." Winter's eyes widen as she pushed Anguirus away.

"What are you doing?!" She ask holding her cheek.

"What does it look like I'm doing I'm cleaning it." He stated as if it was obvious.

"By licking it?!" Winter ask.

"Yeah if we don't get it clean you might sick or something that seems to be a thing with you humans and open wounds."

"I understand but licking it won't help so…" Winter's words fell on deaf ears as Anguirus leaned back in and started licking her face again.

"Ah I said stop!" She shouted but Anguirus ignored as he kept licking her wound clean.

Winter tried to push the man away but he wouldn't budge an inch as if he was a brick wall.

But soon the heat on her face began to rise as Anguirus began kiss her cheek and started trailing down to her neck becoming loss in what he was doing.

"Anguirus stop ahhh this…now I aaahh." Winter tried to resist but the fight earlier left her weaken especially since she push herself to use her summons without aura plus the shocks of pleasure course through her body as Anguirus kept placing kisses on her neck made her knees weak as the two fell to the sand.

Placing her hands on his head she attempted to push him off but instead she pulled him deeper into the nape of her neck.

She didn't know why she did it only that the pleasure she was feeling felt good too good that she didn't want it to stop.

'Why didn't you let him take you before?' A voice in the back of her mind said.

Icy blue eyes widen as Winter finally found the strength to push Anguirus off of her, blushing from absolute embarrassment and arousal Winter quickly turned around and left the beach.

Anguirus watched as Winter left thinking back to what he did, right now he felt aroused foe his action but doesn't feel any regret because right now he was too focus on the taste on his lips.

"Hmm she taste like vanilla." He said.

Winter made it back to base and reported her finding of a kraken being the cause of the ships disappearing.

When ask why it took her so long she merely said that there were some complications during the mission and left it at that.

Once everything was taken care of and she was dismiss Winter went to her room despite the CO urging her to go to see the medic for her injuries, took a quick shower and went to bed wanting to forget everything that happen today with Anguirus.

'This is the second time he was so bold with me.' Winter thought as she remembered her first meeting with him where he got in the hot spring naked with her and later touched every part of her body to dry it off as she was asleep.

Her face heated up every time she thought about what could've happen and after what happen today that too can also be added to it if she had allowed Anguirus to continue and if she was being honest thinking about it excited her.

Part of her scolded herself for thinking such things but another part encourage her to follow through the next they met and Winter felt that the next time they do meet she might actually indulge that side of herself to what could've been.

Hey everybody Nicrdragon8 back with another chapter of Kaiju Connections.

Originally I was gonna do King Caesar for this chapter but felt compelled to do another Anguirus X Winter chapter.

I got the idea for this chapter after watching some old movies.

Anyway like before if you guys a ship you want me to write then write it in the reviews and I'll consider it.

Just know that this story is not my main focus so don't chapters to come out often. And I really didn't want to put much into the fight scene so sorry that the fight wasn't much but like I said I didn't want to put to much into it just enough to show Winter and Anguirus growth with each other.
