Frozen
Time passed slowly in this empty cavern, every moment stretching into an eternity as the cold penetrated every single inch of her body. The time seemed as frozen as the ground she laid on, moving as slowly as could possibly be.
Sighing, she lifted her head, and with great caution, laid it on his chest. As she did, she wrapped her body around his side, pressing every inch of herself against him.
Her mind screamed that it was to compound body heat to save them both, but her body just wanted to touch him. To know he was beside her no matter what, even if they died in this cursed place.
She could feel him breathe, his chest slowly rising and falling underneath her head.
The sound of his heart against her ear helped the frozen time pass faster.
