Hey everyone, it's here! The first full episode of Total Drama Metamorphia. This is quite the behemoth as I really tired to get as much character time as I could. And I'm really proud of it. This is definitely my chance to really show off my writing abilities and how well I am with characters.

It came together a lot quicker than I was expecting. However, don't expect the second episode to drop soon like this one because I'll probably take a small break from this so I can finish up some chapters for my other projects. That's why this particular episode is quite beefy. I'm giving you a lot to enjoy and read.

EPISODE 1: GOODBYE PAHKITEW, HELLO METAMORPHIA

The camera faded in to reveal a full body shot of a lean man in his thirties standing on a rickety dock that was attached to some coniferous island. He wore a blue pocketed shirt with a white long-sleeved shirt underneath it. He also wore khakis with black sneakers and his hair was silky black. He smiled brightly at the camera, his mouth surrounded by a five o'clock shadow.

"It's me, Chris McLean again," greeted the all too familiar host. "Coming at you live at Metamorphia, formerly known as Pahkitew Island. Welcome to a new season!"

The camera pulled back, revealing a full shot of the island before zooming back in on Chris, examining his fingernails. "After the failed attempt to replace me with some wannabe," he said with a bit of pettiness. "I'm back as the host this time, as I always should be. And I've returned with a genius idea."

Chris smirked and began walking down the dock with the camera following. "Spoilers for the sixth season but Pahkitew was an artificial island," he said, giving a little shrug. "So when I got the go ahead to return here, I've made some improvements."

Chris then pulled out a bulky book and put on some reading glasses. "The name Metamorphia comes from the word Metamorphosis," he explained. "A process in the life cycle where some creatures change and grow." He closed the book and tossed it behind him as sounds of it crashing into something could be heard. "Well, that's what happened to Pahkitew. It changed and it grew. It grew a lot."

The camera flashed to Chris now standing beside a clear boxed room that seemed randomly placed. "I've fully embraced the transformative nature of this island," he further explained. "And now Metamorphia can 'morph' into much more distinct and separate settings than just a typical island."

Chris stepped inside the boxed room. "Such as this!" he revealed as the island suddenly shifted and moved around. Tall skyscrapers, taxis, streetlights and more all rose up from below. They did some mechanical magic and eventually a fully fleshed out bustling metropolis was the result.

Chris stepped out of the clear room, wafted in the city air and smiled at the camera. "Pretty amazing, right?" he rhetorically asked. "This is just one of the many locations that this island will morph into. And with each location, a separate challenge planned for our dear campers. Who, by the way, are all on their way here now." Chris got back in the clear boxed room and then the bustling city he was just in slowly came apart and retracted as the regular coniferous island setting reappeared.

The camera then flashed to Chris back at the dock. "All of the campers have been briefed on how the show works," he explained. "But for the audience watching, I'll keep breaking things down for you."

Chris pointed down at the palm of his other hand. "First things first, let's talk money," he stated. "As with all seasons before, the winner of this show will earn one million dollars."

Suddenly, a big burly black man wearing a yellow shirt, an apron and a toque showed up. Chris smiled and nudged the man in the arm. "Good to see ya, Chef," he said. "Although, you're late. Guess someone doesn't want that bonus." Chef rolled his eyes and grumbled something.

Chris then continued things along. "With money on the line, there'll be tears to suffice," he said, grinning deviously. "And with each challenge that we do, someone will be kicked out of the island afterwards. That is until we reach our final three and have our big epic finale."

Chris pointed back at the woods. "The campers will be staying in camps which we'll go into further detail later," he stated. "Food isn't provided for them. They'll have to hunt and scavenge for it on their own or win challenges to get a chance to have some hot tasty meals."

--

Chris: I'm in a confessional right now. It's inside the stinky outhouse again and when campers wish to share their thoughts to the audience, they can do it here.

--

The camera flashed to Chris at the dock again. "Alright, I think it's time we now await the campers' arrival," he suggested. "Just one more thing to note, I plan to be extremely strict when regarding the mechanical nature of this island. After dealing with a certain incident the last time we were here, I'll make sure to not let that happen again. So if I catch any camper trying to tamper with the island's inner workings, I will immediately disqualify them."

Chris smiled as he could see a boat sailing in the distance. "We're doing things the old-fashioned way," he stated. "By bringing all the campers individually by boat." Chris then waited patiently for the first boat to arrive.

"Here comes, Joshua!" Chris announced as it came to a stop by the dock. There was some awkward silence as nobody had really departed yet. Chris then scratched his head. "Uh Joshua?"

All of sudden, sounds of a skateboard hitting the ground and then rolling forward could be heard. Joshua came out of nowhere, airing himself off a makeshift ramp on the boat. He startled Chris in the process, causing him to duck and defensively hold his hands up. "Whoa!" Chris exclaimed.

The camera panned up to the skater as the footage went into slow motion. Joshua expertly nailed a Christ Air maneuver before landing safely back on the board with his feet, the footage resuming at normal speed when he did.

Joshua then pulled back his board and glanced back at the still cowering Chris. "Sup," he greeted in a very nonchalant manner.

"Okay, that was actually kinda sick," Chris remarked, recollecting himself by brushing off some dust on his shirt.

Joshua nodded. "I know," he agreed. "Glad to finally be here, man. Where's the others?"

"You were the first to arrive," Chris informed him. Joshua shrugged and kicked his board up to his hand, grabbing it swiftly. As the next boat was pulling in, Chris cleared his throat. "Our next camper to arrive is Meghan."

Meghan cheerfully hopped off the boat and waved. "Hey everyone," she said with a lot of enthusiasm and carrying a laptop case. "It's so great to be here." She then saw that only Joshua was there. "Guess I'm early."

"Yep," Chris affirmed, pointing at Joshua. "Why don't you say hello to your fellow competitor."

Meghan nodded and scurried her way over to Joshua. "Hey there," she greeted. "How are you?"

Joshua gave a slight smile. "I'm good, dude," he replied, holding his hand out to her.

Meghan furrowed her eyebrows, leaving Joshua hanging. "Um, I'm not a dude," she said dryly.

"My bad," Joshua apologized, retracting his hand. "I call everyone dude, man."

"Not a man either," Meghan countered, getting a bit agitated.

"My bad again," Joshua repeated, still chill in demeanor as usual. The next boat then arrived, dropping off Frank. He stepped out wearing a purple Planet Fitness shirt with a phone number below the logo.

"Hey Frank, what's up?" Chris greeted, holding his hand up.

"Shhh," Frank hushed.

Chris tilted his head in disbelief and placed his hands on his hips. "Excuse me?" he scoffed. "Did you just try to shush-"

"Shhhhhh," Frank hushed again. Chris flopped his arms in astonishment. The audacity of this man. However, Frank just straightened his shirt and smiled at the camera. "Today's episode of Total Drama Metamorphia is sponsored by Planet Fitness."

Chris furrowed his eyebrows, looking extremely befuddled. "Uhhh what?" he asked.

Frank ignored him. "Total Drama is definitely a show where you need quite a bit of athletic ability," he stated. "That's why I have my Planet Fitness membership to stay in tip-top shape. You can get yours right now. Just call the toll-free number on this shirt or sign up online at ."

Chris crossed his arms and frowned. "Okay, what the heck are you doing?" he demanded.

Frank turned to finally face him and gave him a disinterested look. "Advertising Chris," he answered bluntly. "How do you not know this?"

"You can't advertise products on my show like that without my permission," Chris said, stamping his foot on the ground. "Who do you think you are!?"

"I'm Frank," he said, rolling his eyes. "And I already did." He then walked along, leaving Chris to fume and frown.

"It's my show…" the miffed host pouted. Eventually, the next boat arrived and Chris regained his TV smile. "Welcome, Wayne."

Wayne stepped off the dock, holding a device and headset in his hands. He examined the setting around him. "Wow, can't believe I'm finally here," he said with a curious smile.

"Hey look, I know you're kinda the inventor type," Chris stated, pointing at the device Wayne was holding. "So if you accidentally blow yourself up, or whatever, it's not my show's responsibility to compensate for your medical bills."

Wayne nodded and gave a thumbs up. "Don't worry, Chris," he reassured. "I don't fail that often. I can test that out by letting you put on the thought transmitter."

Chris shook his head. "No thank you," he denied, pointing away from the dock. "You can go stand with the others now."

Wayne shrugged and did as told. He was then approached by Frank. "Hey there, are you thinking of selling any of your inventions?" he asked. "I can advertise them for you for a discounted price."

"Uh no actually," Wayne declined with a smile. "I typically make inventions just to make life easier for me."

Frank scratched his forehead. "Well alright," he said, pulling out something from his pocket. "But if you change your mind, here's my business card." He then handed Wayne a small black and red card with his business information on it.

Wayne observed it with furrowed eyebrows before shrugging and putting it into his back pocket. "Okay," he said as the next boat arrived.

"Looks like Tala is here," Chris announced.

Tala could be seen scratching her chin, observing the island closely. "Hmm, interesting, all the trees are all the same height," she said as she stepped off the boat. "How would anybody not know something wasn't right from the get-go? Seems kinda foolish to miss in hindsight but yet again season six did have quite a few less intelligent campers than usual-"

"Uh, excuse me, earth to Tala," Chris interrupted, folding his arms and looking annoyed.

Tala covered her mouth with her hand and gave an apologetic look. "Yeah sorry," she said with embarrassed cheeks. "Guess I'll be moving on…"

"Pretty good guess," Chris agreed as Tala awkwardly paced her way to the others. She took a spot next to Meghan who smiled at her warmly. Tala tried to smile back, even if it wasn't as prominent.

"I'm Meghan, I love computers," she introduced herself, holding out her hand. "You seem like a very smart girl, maybe we could be friends?"

Tala awkwardly shook hands with her and then shrugged. "Friends are certainly a necessity in a show like this," she stated. "Six out of the seven winners all were friendly. Heather being the exception."

"Interesting," Meghan remarked, sucking in her cheek a little. "Well, let's hope the trend continues because I would love to win."

"As would I," Tala agreed as the next boat had finally arrived.

"Woohoo!" cheered a voice. The camera panned towards it to see Ezra on the boat with his foot resting on an amp as he shredded on his guitar. He reached the highest note, letting it sit for a few moments before bringing it all together with a giant triumphant power chord.

"Sick guitar soloing, dude," Chris remarked, giving a couple claps.

Ezra hopped off the boat with all his stuff and pumped his fists in the air. "Alright, I'm here, woo!" he shouted, running up to Chris and giving him a big bear hug. "Such a pleasure to meet you, my man."

"Ezra...please…," Chris pleaded through his gasping breath.

Ezra released him and laughed. "Sorry, my man, I'm just excited," he apologized.

Chris took some deep breaths, rubbing his side. "Well good but don't ever hug me like that again," he said, pointing off the dock. "Take your stuff and stand over there."

Ezra gave a thumbs up. "Alrighty, bro," he said as he strolled past and greeted the others with a wave. "What's up, everybody?"

"Sup," Joshua greeted back with a nod. "I like your guitar playing. How long have you, like, been playing it?"

"Practically all my life, man," Ezra answered, giving Joshua a fist bump.

"Sick," Joshua nonchalantly remarked.

"Shush everyone," Chris hushed, pointing at someone. "Miriam's here." She had just arrived from her boat and seemed quite determined. Chris greeted her with a wave.

Miriam smirked and stepped forward. "Go ahead, just give me the money already," she boasted. "I'm gonna make quick work of everybody here."

"I like the confidence," Chris complimented before giving her a devious look. "I look forward to breaking it."

Miriam faked a laugh and then rolled her eyes. "You don't scare me, McLean," she said, jabbing a finger in his chest. "I will take down any obstacle you put in front of me."

"Well let's just wait and see then," Chris retorted, feeling quite smug. Miriam scoffed and walked away, stopping by the others.

"Easiest opponents of my life," she said, belittling them.

"Hey, why don't you shut your mouth with that arrogant nonsense," Ezra said, crossing his arms. "Someone should teach you some humility."

Miriam quickly snatched Ezra by his vest and yanked him up close to her face. "Say that again," she snarled, her eyes almost lighting up in flames.

Ezra looked frightened. "Geez, man, why so hostile?" he questioned frantically.

Miriam scanned his whole body and smirked. "'Cause it makes chumps like you wet your pants," she answered, letting him go and then walking away.

Ezra readjusted his vest and then soon realized that he had indeed wetted his pants. "Awww… " he groaned.

The next boat arrived shortly after and Chris greeted the ensuing camper. "Hello there, Colleen," he said, observing her anxious state. "What seems to be the problem?"

Colleen scurried frantically around the dock, holding her phone up in the air. "There's no cell signal here either," she whined.

Frank's eyes widened. "What!?" he exclaimed, pulling out his phone to see if he had any bars. "Oh no! This is not good!"

"Sorry everyone," Chris apologized with a defensive shrug. "Last time we allowed cell service here, some idiot attempted to take my job. So we implanted a legal cell jammer on the island."

Both Colleen and Frank got on their knees. "Noooo!" they hollered in unison.

"Alright, geez, you kids are so melodramatic," Chris groaned, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Just relax and stay quiet." Colleen pouted with her head down as she slowly strolled towards Frank, who mourned this devastating loss with her.

Meanwhile, the next boat had arrived and Shane leapt off triumphantly. "Never fear!" he boomed. "Super Shane is- OH GOD!" He missed the dock and fell into the really shallow water. He groaned as all the others, except Chris, looked shocked.

"Good to see ya, Shane," Chris said, ignoring the painful state the guy was in.

Shane poked his head up with some of his teeth knocked out. "I really should've practiced that more," he muttered, dazed and winded. He fainted as Chef picked his unconscious body up from the ground and plopped him by the others.

"Yippee!" came an extremely cheery voice from the dock. It was Luna and she had just arrived, carrying a big stuffed crocodile. "Me and Chomps are ready to win it all!"

Chris smirked as some of the other campers groaned. "Howdy Luna," he greeted.

"Well howdy to you too, Chrissy Poo," she greeted back, skipping all around the place. "I'm really excited to try this Total Drama thing, yessiree!"

"Good god, I hate her already," Miriam groaned, rubbing her temples and gritting her teeth.

Luna managed to overhear Miriam and ran up to her, pointing a shaky finger. "You watch it, varmint!" she spat. "I'll open a can of Bush's baked beans on you!"

"Ooh, they're one of my clients," Frank added, although no one paid him any attention.

Miriam laughed in total disbelief. "Is this girl for real?" she asked, sharing bewildered looks with Chris.

"I'm more real than that petty excuse of a fake rack that you got sagging on your chest," Luna snapped, tossing Chomps on the ground.

Miriam scoffed in a mix of awe and astonishment. "Oh you're a dead woman, now," she growled, attempting to snatch Luna by the neck. However, Luna dodged and ran away. "Get back here!"

As Miriam chased after Luna, attempting to brutally beat her, Chris eyed the camera and grinned ear to ear. "I love my job sometimes," he remarked to himself. "Can you take care of this Chef?"

Chef shook his head and grumbled some angry words. He went up to Miriam and Luna, picking them both up with ease. "Settle down you two," he mumbled. "Save the 'killing each other' for later."

He plopped them both down, grunting as he walked away. Miriam just stood there crossing her arms and scowling, while Luna carried on with her skipping.

However, she quickly stopped when she noticed an unconscious Shane still on the ground. "Why is there a dead fellow here?" she asked, observing him closely.

Suddenly, Shane woke up and slowly picked himself up. Luna freaked out. "Eeek, it's a zombie!" she exclaimed before bonking Shane in the head with her bare fist, knocking the hero out again.

"Since when did Shawn get here," Chris joked as the next boat arrived. He turned around and greeted the camper with a smile. "Good afternoon, Harper."

The camera cut to a slow reveal of Harper, from toe to head. He then gave a cute smile and blew a kiss. "It's a pleasure to finally be here," he said, prancing forward. "And a pleasure to meet all of you."

"Alright, more cute chicks," Ezra cheered to himself.

Harper giggled and scurried up to him. "Why thank you," he said, smiling and caressing his forearm. "And you're quite handsome." He then glanced down and noticed Ezra's pants. "Oh, did you wet yourself perhaps?"

Ezra covered his crotch area and groaned. "No…" he lied. Harper gave an amused smirk before walking along and stopping by Wayne. "Hello there."

"Hey," Wayne greeted before leaning in to whisper. "He did wet himself. Miriam scared him." He pointed towards Miriam who stood there still upset and seething.

Harper chuckled briefly as he glanced over to her. "She seems like a friendly girl," he quipped, causing Wayne to shrug in response. Then the next boat had arrived.

"Up next, Robin!" Chris announced.

Robin stepped off the boat and grinned brightly. "Hey Chris," he greeted before switching to an impression of him. "I'm ready for Total Drama Metamorphia!"

Chris squinted his eyes a little. "That's creepily uncanny, honestly," he admitted.

Robin laughed, returning to his normal voice. "I get that sometimes," he said, patting Chris on the shoulder. "Anyways, nice to be here."

Robin then walked along to go meet up with the other campers. He stopped by Tala first. "Oy, g'day there, mate," he greeted with a Jasmine impression.

"Aren't you a comedian," Tala sarcastically retorted.

Robin chuckled, back to his normal voice. "Indeed, I am," he affirmed, pointing at himself with his thumbs. He continued walking along when he then noticed Shane regaining consciousness.

Luna shrieked. "The zombie is getting up again," she gasped, getting ready to pound the unsuspecting Shane on the head once more.

"Oh no you don't," Chef said, quickly restraining her from doing so. Luna kicked around a bit and pouted. Meanwhile, Shane mumbled some stuff to himself as Robin went over and knelt down to check up on him.

"Oh, that's not a zombie," Luna said disappointedly, nudging herself off of Chef's grasp. "That's just a superhero."

Robin helped Shane up. "You alright there?" he asked.

Shane shook his head rapidly and then saluted. "Thank you kind stranger," he said. "I shall be just fine, don't worry."

The next boat then arrived and dropped off Light. She carried herself in such a stern way that she almost intimidated Chris even. "Hey, Light," he greeted carefully. "Welcome to the show."

Light scanned the area, then at Chris. "Tch," she smirked before stepping her way through the dock in a stiff and stoic manner. She reached the other campers and analyzed them coldly.

Colleen ran up to her with her hand out. "Hi! I'm Col…leen…" she greeted which quickly turned into a gulp as she immediately retracted her hand, fully intimidated by Light's presence.

Light stared her down with menacing eyes before she walked away, disregarding Colleen completely. She then stood sternly with her arms crossed, showing no emotion whatsoever.

"Ladies and gentlemen," Chris said as the next boat arrived. "Meet our final camper, Van!"

"Heyyy, wassup y'all," Van greeted, posing in front of the camera. "I'm hyped to be here and meet all of y'all." She then walked along the dock, reaching her way to the others.

"Wow, six boys and eight girls," Robin remarked to himself. "Talk about disregarding gender equality, amirite?"

Ezra chuckled, nudging him in the shoulder. "Hey, that just means more chicks for us," he added, giving Robin a swift high-five.

Van first stopped by Light, who still had her arms crossed and her body stiffer than a rock. "Ayy, wassup wit you, girl?" Van greeted, trying to be friendly. Light acknowledged her with only a stern glare, leaving Van to be pressed. "So, it's like that, huh?" Light remained still and unresponsive.

Van rolled her eyes, brushing the interaction off and then walked up to Tala. She waved at the nerdy girl with some swag. "Heyyy, how you doin'," she greeted her. "I like your hair, girl. It looks nice."

A shot from Tala's perspective showed Van smiling in front of a pink, rosy background and small hearts bubbling all over. Tala blushed a little and covered her face with her notebook. "Th-th-thanks…" she said, barely getting the word out.

Van tilted her head. "You aight?" she asked, furrowing her eyebrows.

"Y-y-yeah, yeah, I'm fine," Tala answered, almost to the point of shuttering. "I'm just v-v-very nervous to be here…"

"I feel ya, sista," Van said before walking along. Tala peeked over her book to get a small glimpse of Van as she stepped away from her.

--

Tala (shaking her head and looking extremely anxious): No, no, no, not this again… (stops her head shaking and takes a deep breath) So quick too… This isn't right. You do not have feelings for her. You do not have feelings for any girl. Stop it, Tala… (she slumps down and groans)

--

One last boat had arrived except it wasn't bringing another camper. It was bringing camping equipment that was packed into big bags. Chef boarded the boat and then tossed all the bags on the dock, one of them nearly knocking over Chris.

"Watch it, Chef!" Chris groaned. Chef responded with some obscenity-filled grumbling. The others watched along as Chris took a bag of equipment and tossed it to a random camper. "Catch!"

The bag collided with Shane, who laid there crushed beneath it. Meghan quickly pulled the heavy bag off and helped him up. Shane gave a thumbs up to her, assuring that he was fine.

"Inside these bags," Chris said, tossing another one to Light. She caught it swiftly with one hand, not even flinching as it approached. "Are sleeping bags, blankets, firestarters and anything else you need for camping. Some even have tents." He tossed another bag to Ezra, who failed to catch it and was knocked over.

"Camping, you say?" Robin remarked, catching the next bag that was tossed. "Like the Sucky Outdoors challenge but permanently."

"Exactly," Chris affirmed, tossing a bag to Colleen, who shrieked and ducked. The bag flew over her and Light caught it with her other hand while she glared intensely at Colleen. Chris laughed a little and grabbed another bag. "Yep, you guys will live on this island like actual campers."

He then tossed a bag to Miriam, who caught it and then plopped it down right on Wayne's foot. He yelped and hopped on one leg as he massaged the foot that was just crushed.

"So where're we finna camp?" Van asked as she caught the next bag that was tossed.

Chris grabbed another bag. "You'll find that out shortly," he said, tossing it to Tala, who failed to catch it and was knocked back.

Meghan ran up to her and helped her up. "You okay there Tala?" she asked. Tala responded with a nod.

"Hey Meghan, catch!" Chris called, chucking a bag towards her. Meghan freaked out and ran to avoid it, causing it to collide with Tala again. Meghan immediately ran back and profusely apologized to Tala as Chris snickered some more.

Eventually, all bags were tossed and then Chris gathered the campers attention with a swift whistle. "Well, well, well," he said, grinning ear to ear. "Looks like we're set and ready for our first challenge."

Ezra scratched his goatee. "Dang, already?" he asked.

"Yep," Chris affirmed as he pointed towards the deep coniferous woods behind them all. "There are two separate campsites somewhere on this island. Your first challenge is to find them."

"Is there any cell signal at these campsites?" Frank asked, still checking his phone for bars.

"No," Chris denied, folding his arms. "Now, here's the deal. Each campsite can only serve seven campers. So it's first come, first serve, ya dig?"

Joshua nodded. "Yeah but, like, why?" he asked.

"Because this is how we will determine your teams," Chris explained.

"Suh-weet," Van cheered, swagging a bit. "No elimination today then."

Chris frowned. "I didn't say that," he said, making some of the campers nervous. "But yes, no elimination this episode. You guys just got here after all. We need time for you to settle and get to know each other so that when later challenges come, you'll be already biting each other's heads off."

"You and your lust for drama," Miriam scoffed, rolling her eyes.

"I know right?" Chris quipped back. "So, it'll be up to your own intuition to find these camps. If you are first to arrive at any camp overall, you'll be rewarded with a nice rotisserie chicken. All the others will be left to find food for themselves."

"Just like the old Pahkitew, I see," Harper remarked.

"Oh yeah, I love scouring for my own food!" Luna cheered, pumping her fists in the air. "It be like hunting leeches for gumbo, hallelujah!"

Chris gave a befuddled look. "Right…" he said, nodding his head slowly. "Anyways, are there any questions about how this works?"

Colleen perked her hand up. "Um yeah," she said, hopping up and down a little. "What happens if you arrive at a camp and there are already seven people?"

"Gotta find that other one then," Chris answered with a devious grin. "And quick, because the last one to find a camp will be forced to drink one of Chef's famous smoothies, or should I say, infamous."

The camera cut to a vignette of Chef wearing a hazmat suit. He put some gross, grey and bulging slop into a blender with ice and a rotten banana. He then blended it all up, creating a foul concoction of disgusting odors. He poured it into a glass, the liquid grey-ish green in color and handed it to an unlucky intern.

The intern plugged his nose and drank a bit of the smoothie. Immediately, his face turned green and he barfed all over the place, some of it splattering onto Chef's suit. Then the intern fainted as Chef gave a grumbly chuckle.

The camera then cut back to the campers, who had sickened looks on their faces. "You guys better find those camps fast because night's approaching also," Chris informed them. "So I think I said what needed to be said. The challenge begins now, get to it!"

Everyone scrambled with their bags and luggage, all going separate ways. Joshua sped up ahead, due to riding on his skateboard while Light was preparing to jog her way through the woods by stretching her legs.

Colleen quickly stopped her, however, and pressed her pointer fingers together nervously. "Um, hey," she greeted. "Could I, like, have my bag now?" Light glared at her, causing Colleen to nervously step back.

"You don't deserve it," Light said sternly. "You could've caught it yourself but you were too much of a coward." She then jogged off with both of their bags, leaving Colleen alone with saddened eyes and empty hands.

"O-oh okay…" she sighed, rubbing her forearm for a bit of comfort.

--

Light: Was I mean? Maybe. But in a show like this, any kind of weakness should be condemned and all I see are a bunch of weaklings. Maybe this thing will be easier than I thought.

--

The camera flashed to Miriam, who walked by herself with her bags. She seemed determined, pacing herself with a decent speed. All of sudden, she heard some leaves crinkle behind her.

Miriam stopped in her tracks and quickly turned around. She noticed Wayne standing behind her with his head down. "What are you doing?" she interrogated, glaring at him.

"Going with you," Wayne answered modestly. "Do you know how dangerous it is to be alone in the woods?"

Miriam rolled her eyes. "Fine," she conceded. "Just try not to get in my way, okay?"

"You got it," Wayne assured, perking his head up and holding his hand out to her. "Nice to meet you, by the way." Miriam shook his hand with a stern expression and then dragged Wayne along with her as they searched for a camp.

--

Wayne: Miriam seems like a very competitive person. If I could have her on my good side, maybe we could be a strong alliance. Guess I'll have to wait and see.

--

The camera flashed to Frank, who was pacing around with his cellphone out. "Dangit," he cussed to himself. "Why is there no signal at all? I have to talk with my clients…"

All of sudden, Shane came running in. "Greetings, my fellow camper," he said with a valiant smile.

Frank barely looked up at him. "Hey, what's up?" he grunted, his eyes remaining locked to his phone.

"Would you like to be my sidekick?" Shane offered, strolling along with him.

Frank stopped in his tracks. "Is there money involved?" he asked, putting his phone back in his pocket.

"Of course!" Shane reassured, giving him a salute. "I'll always make sure my fellow associates are treated well financially."

Frank smiled. "Then it's a deal," he agreed, holding his hand out to Shane. They shook hands and then Frank pulled out a pen and some agenda book. "Alright, so how do you want me to advertise?"

"Huh?" Shane remarked bewilderingly as he scratched his head.

Frank gave him a look. "I'll advertise your superhero thingy you're trying to sell," he explained, tapping the pen on the cover of the agenda. "Part of the deal."

"Oh actually, can you advertise for my orphanage?" Shane requested, pointing at Frank's agenda book. "Tell everyone that the kids are very sweet and deserve a family."

Frank raised an eyebrow as he wrote Shane's request down. "Weird thing to advertise but alright," he agreed, putting away his pen and agenda. "I expect payment within the next week, got it?"

"Absolutely!" Shane boomed with a mighty salute. "Now, come on my sidekick. We have a camp to find!"

"Yeah sure," Frank said with a disinterested shrug as he followed Shane into the deeper woods.

Meanwhile, an observing Harper strolled along by himself, examining the foreign landscape around him. He pondered on where a campsite could be before being stopped by Luna.

"Howdy," Luna greeted with much excitement. "Gosh darn, yer purdy!"

Harper gave her a warm smile. "Why thank you," he appreciated.

Luna quickly crouched down to her knees. "Say, you don't think we could team up, can we?" she offered, carefully looking around. "Boy, is it sure spooky here for some reason. I could really use a friend."

Harper shrugged. "I suppose I have no reason to decline," he agreed. "So sure, let's team up."

Luna quickly hugged Harper and squealed. "Oh thank you, thank you, thank you," she said, squeezing his body pretty tightly. "You and I will be the bestest friends!"

Harper admittedly looked pretty flustered but managed to fake a smile. "That sounds great," he said, trying to nudge her off. "Can you please let me go now?"

"Oh sorry about that, missy," Luna apologized, releasing Harper from her grasp. "I just get all excited and huggy sometimes. But come on, we can find a camp while singing some campfire songs together, weeee!"

Luna then dragged Harper by the arm, singing along to some random nonsense about pudding and baked beans while Harper just looked like he was regretting everything.

--

Luna: I'm really liking this Total Drama thing. I already got a new best friend and she's so dainty and purdy too. Maybe she knows a lot of big muscly men that she can hook me up with. That be darn tootin' fantastic, yay!

--

The camera flashed to Robin, who like many of the others, was walking by himself at first. That's when Ezra showed up and tapped on his shoulder. Robin turned his head and nodded.

"What's going on, my man?" Ezra greeted, strolling along with him.

Robin smiled. "Not much," he said before switching into a Lightning impression. "Just trying to Sha-find where this Sha-camp is."

Ezra chuckled. "That's really impressive, man," he complimented. "You should be a voice actor or something."

Robin shrugged. "Maybe," he said in his normal voice. "Guess that's a possibility for me."

"Well what would you do if you won the million?" Ezra asked.

"Gee, I don't know, eh?" Robin said with an Ezekiel impression. "Just hopping I don't drop myself and the briefcase into lava again, eh?"

Ezra laughed, greatly enjoying Robin's antics. He then quickly thought of something. "Hey, can you do Geoff?" he asked as a request.

Robin nodded. "Totally, dude," he said with a perfect Geoff impression. "Let's get this party started!"

Ezra cackled. "Man, you're funny," he remarked, wrapping an arm around him. "I think I could use you as a buddy."

Robin beamed. "That'd be cool," he said in his normal voice. "Let's go find a camp, shall we?"

Ezra let him go and gave a thumbs up. "Right on," he agreed. The two then quickly scouted the area together, searching for signs of a camp nearby.

--

Robin: Ezra seems like a good guy. I just hope he isn't deciding to be friends with me just because of my impressions. I'll admit I'm very good but I'm a lot more than just them.

--

The camera flashed to Tala, holding a small notebook and scribbling some words down with a pen. She seemed to be mumbling to herself as she did. Meanwhile, Joshua was riding along the area with his skateboard.

He spotted Tala slowly walking along, deep in her note taking. He kicked his way towards her and pulled back when he arrived. Tala stopped what she was doing and stared at him.

"Sup," Joshua greeted with an aloof nod.

"Uhhh, hey," she meekly greeted back.

"Wanna, like, help me find a camp?" he asked.

"Umm, actually, I'm busy with something," she said.

"Alright, man," he said. He pushed himself with a kick, propelling his board forward. "See ya, dude."

Tala tapped her chin with her pen. "How are you able to skateboard on the grass?" she asked as he skated away.

Joshua glanced back and pointed down at his board. "Specially designed trucks and wheels, man," he explained before continuing on into the depths of the coniferous woods.

Tala rubbed her chin as she watched him eventually disappear amongst the distant trees. "What an interesting fellow," she said to herself. "Anyways, I suppose I should be finding a camp too. I really don't want to destroy my stomach on the very first day on this island. No, no, that would be a disaster."

"Who you talking to, girl?" said a sudden voice. Tala jumped in her tracks and quickly turned around to see Van standing there. The party girl smiled, nearly letting out a chuckle. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare ya."

Tala was too embarrassed to speak so Van grabbed a hold of her hand. "Come on," she said, cocking her head towards the woods. "Let's find a camp together." Tala simply nodded, her face flushed with red.

--

Van: I'm not gonna lie, y'all, I have a thing for nerdy girls, eyyy. They jus' so shy and bashful but so smart and chill too. Oh yeah, I'm bisexual. This party girl can have fun both ways, fo sho.

--

The camera flashed to Colleen now. She slowly paced forward in the woods, hugging herself with her head hung low. "You're gonna be just fine, Colleen," she assured herself. "Stay calm…"

All of a sudden, some noises from a nearby bush were heard. Colleen nearly shrieked at the sound but regained composure. Then Meghan popped her head out from the bush and both of the girls sighed in relief.

"Oh thank god," Meghan said, placing a hand on her chest. "I thought you were a bear or something."

Colleen smiled a little. "I thought the same about you," she confessed.

"Are you lost too?" Meghan asked, stepping out of the bushes and cautiously approaching her.

"Yeah, unfortunately," Colleen answered with a saddened sigh. "I would use my phone's GPS but, no cell signal, remember?"

Meghan nodded and patted Colleen on the back. "We can help each other find a camp then," she suggested.

Colleen perked her head up and beamed. "Okay!" she chirped. "Where should we go?"

Meghan pointed off to the right. "I think I saw that skateboarder zoom by there," she explained. "Maybe he knows where one is."

Colleen nodded with glee. "Awesome, let's get to it," she said, skipping towards that direction. Meghan closely followed behind as the two girls searched for any signs of the camp.

Meanwhile, Miriam and Wayne were still searching together. Miriam led the way while Wayne seemed to be tinkering with something. "Hey Einstein," Miriam berated, noticing her partner's actions. "Pick up the pace and keep a lookout."

"Just a second," Wayne pleaded, fumbling around with a screwdriver. "I'm trying to make sure I do this right."

Miriam looked back and smirked. "What're you working on anyway?" she asked.

"A way to reverse the cell phone jammer," Wayne explained. "I'm sure Frank and Colleen would appreciate it if I did."

Miriam seemed to be quite impressed. "You know, that's kinda thoughtful of you," she admired. "You're not bad, kid." Wayne grinned ear to ear in response.

--

Wayne: Alright, things are going well with me and Miriam. Maybe that alliance will happen soon.

--

The camera then flashed to Shane and Frank walking together. Frank was nervously checking his phone, still hoping to possibly find any sort of service. Shane seemed to be blissfully unaware of this as he marched forward with glee.

"It's just me and my sidekick," Shane sang happily. "Searching for a site to live. Making our way through these woods. Fighting danger 'cause we're good!"

Frank groaned and shook his head. "This is just awful," he sighed.

Shane stopped his singing and quickly eyed Frank with concern. "What's the matter, sidekick?" he questioned.

"I'm missing out on so many opportunities," Frank explained. "I could be getting calls from multiple companies right now and can't do anything about it. All that missed money… Screw Chris for installing that jammer."

"I'm sure I can find a way to get you cell service," Shane offered, trying his best to help.

"You can?" Frank asked, his face lighting up a little.

"Absolutely!" Shane affirmed, giving him a salute. "Now follow me!" He then marched on triumphantly with Frank following him excitedly.

--

Frank (fist pumping in the air): Yes! Okay, we're gonna be back in business soon. Thank you, Shane. I'll definitely give him a discounted price for his orphanage advertisement.

--

The camera flashed to Harper and Luna now. Luna was still dragging Harper by the arm and singing some nonsense campfire songs. Harper just looked completely exhausted.

All of sudden, Light showed up. She jogged her way past them before coming to a halt and turning to face them. "Tch," she smirked, noticing the drastic differences in demeanor between the two.

"Please don't leave me alone with her," Harper begged, giving some puppy eyes and holding her hands together.

Light crossed her arms. "Sorry, I do things solo," she stated bluntly before jogging off again, leaving the sad Harper to pout and groan.

Luna tugged on Harper's arm with much excitement. "Come on, bestie," she said, oblivious to Harper's distressed state. "Let's go follow that big strong lady."

Harper sighed and looked like he was about to cry but ultimately obliged. The two continued their search by following the path that Light had jogged through.

Meanwhile, Ezra and Robin were cracking jokes together, enjoying their time as they searched through the woods. Robin then picked up a rock and chucked it up in the air.

Ezra tilted his head. "What was that for?" he asked.

Robin shrugged. "Just felt like doing it," he admitted.

Ezra laughed. "You crazy, man," he said playfully. "Hey, how about another impression, that always cracks me up."

Robin looked a little reluctant at first but then nodded his head. "Alright then," he said before doing an Owen impression. "Hey guys, it's me Owen."

Ezra smiled a bit. "Cool, make him say something funny," he requested.

"Something funny," Robin said, causing Ezra to giggle. Robin switched to his normal voice. "Alright, but let's try to find a camp now."

Ezra nodded and patted his back. "Sure thing, bro," he agreed, leading the way.

--

Ezra: I could listen to Robin do his impressions all day. He's almost like my brother, Beardo. Y'know, the one who does all the sound effects. Both he and Robin are creative and funny dudes.

--

The camera flashed to Tala and Van now. Tala seemed to be a bit less flustered than before but still a little anxious around Van. The party girl seemed pretty chill as she still clung to Tala's hand escorting her through the woods.

"So what kinda music do you like?" Van asked.

"Oh you know," Tala said, trying her best to not seem too awkward.

Van raised an eyebrow and pursed her lips. "Know what?" she questioned.

"Oh uhh, I guess I like some pop music," Tala answered, meekly rubbing her forearm.

"That's cool, I like it too," Van responded, although she couldn't help but notice that Tala was still very anxious for some reason. She stepped back a little and tilted her head in concern. "Okay seriously, girl, are you sure you aight? Am I making you nervous?"

"No, you're not. I'm fine, don't worry," Tala reassured, being able to get a bit of her anxiety out of the way. She looked around the woods, thinking of anything to stop the awkwardness. "Um, since we already are in the woods, you think we could try to find food along the way? Just in case we don't make it to a camp first."

"I like that idea, sure," Van agreed with a comforting smile. "I'll keep a lookout for some grub."

--

Tala: I really just need to not worry so much about my feelings right now. Just focus on finding a camp and avoiding coming in last. Van is just a helper, that's it.

--

Meanwhile, Meghan and Colleen were skipping together as they wandered through who knows where. They seemed quite cheerful, however, not really worried about much. That is until Joshua came rolling past them, greeting the two girls with an aloof nod before zooming along without a care for the world.

Colleen pulled Meghan close to her. "Wait, didn't you say the skateboard guy already went here," she asked nervously.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure of it," Meghan pondered. "Unless we made an accidental misstep or something."

"Aw face it, Meghan," Colleen whined, hanging her head down. "We're both lost. We don't know where the heck we're going…"

"No, no," Meghan denied, lifting up Colleen's head. "You and I are gonna find a camp soon. Don't worry, okay?" Her comforting words seemed to have a pretty good effect on Colleen, who smiled warmly and gave Meghan a hug. They patted each other's back as they shared a nice moment together.

Colleen then let go of the embrace. "Thank you," she said, grabbing her hand. "Let's do this, friend."

"Agreed," Meghan nodded, sharing a thumbs up. The two carried on as usual, their confidence fully back.

--

Colleen: Meghan seems to be much better at staying positive than I am. It definitely spreads a bit on me though so I'm glad she's my friend now.

--

The camera then flashed to Miriam, keeping a close eye out for any signs of a campsite and Wayne, who seemed to be a bit flustered with his device. "This is honestly tough to figure out," he admitted. "Whatever jammer Chris installed seems to be really advanced and tough to counteract with."

"Hmm, I don't know what to tell you," Miriam said. "Might as well put that away for now."

Wayne nodded and slid the device and his tools into his personal bag. "I'm sure when we make it to a camp I'll figure it out eventually," he said.

Suddenly, Miriam halted in her tracks, holding out her hand to stop Wayne. She grew a smirk and glanced back at him. "Well, good news," she said. "I found a camp."

Wayne's eyes widened. "Really?" he asked.

Miriam nodded and then rolled her shoulders. "I'll race ya," she challenged before she sped off in a sprint. Wayne quickly scurried, fumbling around a bit but unfortunately Miriam was way ahead. He could see the camp, however, and he developed an idea.

Wayne clicked the heels of his boots and suddenly, exhaust tips appeared on them. "Knew these would come in handy," he said to himself. "Go!" Within an instant, he propelled himself with his rocket shoes, going at a blazing quick speed.

Miriam was still mid-sprint, grimacing with confidence. "That rotisserie chicken is mine!" she gloated, clenching her fist in triumph. Then she noticed Wayne zooming past her, much to her dismay. She growled, realizing what was happening. "A technological advantage in a foot race? Are you kidding me, Wayne!?"

Wayne had no time to respond as he rapidly approached the campsite. Chris was there waiting for him. "Goodness, he's coming in quick," he remarked.

Wayne then zoomed past Chris, making it first but was unable to stop in time. He ended up crashing face first into a tree as his rocket shoes then propelled him up against it. His face hit multiple branches before he was finally able to turn them off. Immediately he fell back down, landing back first next to Chris' feet.

"Ten points for the landing," Chris joked. "And congrats on being the first to arrive at the camp."

Miriam made it to the camp next and was absolutely livid. "That's not fair!" she protested. "He cheated!"

"Not like I really care," Chris replied, rolling his eyes. "You're still in second." Miriam frustratingly growled in response.

--

Miriam: (roars and punches the confessional wall) If there is one thing that I hate more than anything, it's people who cheat to win. (roars again and smashes a nearby spider with her bare fist) Wayne is officially on my enemy list.

--

Wayne eventually rolled himself to his knees and looked up at Chris, a little dazed. "So, I was first overall?" he asked, slowly getting up to his feet.

"Yes," Chris affirmed. "Your rotisserie chicken is on the way. As for you Miriam, you'll have to find food elsewhere. There's some berries and fruit around here somewhere."

Miriam growled intensely, darting her eyes right at Wayne, who grew nervous. "You are a goner, you hear me Einstein?" she threatened, pointing an irate finger at him. Wayne fearfully gulped in response.

Chris smirked and folded his arms behind his back. "Anywho, I think someone might be arriving at the other camp," he explained. "Try not to kill each other when I'm gone, or do it, I don't care." Chris then suddenly disappeared, surprising the two.

The camera then flashed to the other camp and indeed, Chris had predicted correctly as Light had just finished up jogging her way there. Chris appeared and then congratulated her on being the first to arrive for this particular camp.

"I was first overall, right?" Light asked, taking a sip of some of her bottled water.

"Nope," Chris denied. "Third overall."

"Drat!" Light cursed, feeling disappointed in herself.

Chris then grew a devious smirk. "Hey, how's the cosplaying Light?" he said to her with a baiting tone.

Light stiffened up and snarled her teeth. "Don't you dare bring that up," she seethed, clenching her fists and crushing her water bottle in the process.

"Oh what's the matter?" Chris mocked. "Don't want any of the others to see you as weak?"

Immediately, Light swung her fist at him with full force. She was determined to crush Chris' gut with one swift blow but to her surprise, her hand went right through him. Her eyes widened in disbelief and she retracted her hand, giving the host a confused look.

Chris laughed mischievously. "Luckily for me, I've mastered the art of hologram-jitsu," he quipped, smirking with complete confidence. Then he crossed his arms and frowned. "Although if you ever attempt to hit me again, hologram or not, you'll no doubt be immediately disqualified. Got it, cosplayer?"

--

Chris: Yeah, I knew she would try to hit me if I brought that up. But I had my reasons for my brave sacrifice. (snickers and rubs his hands deviously) Just watch…

--

Light calmed herself down and sighed, dropping her crushed bottle to the ground. "At least no one else is here to hear that," she muttered.

"Think again," Chris countered, pointing behind her.

Light quickly snapped back to see Joshua standing there nonchalantly with his skateboard. "Oh no…" she whispered to herself.

"Sup," Joshua greeted. "Guess I'm, like, your teammate now."

"You certainly are," Chris affirmed as Light looked absolutely petrified. "Now, if you excuse me, I need to see what the others are up to." His hologram then flashed and disappeared, leaving Light with just Joshua.

Light was frozen in fear, realizing that one of her teammates could potentially know about one of her secrets. She stepped closely and calmly to him. "You didn't hear what Chris said about me right?" she asked carefully.

"What? The cosplaying thing?" Joshua replied. Light immediately groaned and punched down at the air. Joshua held his hand up. "Relax, man. Your secret is safe with me."

Light hugged herself for comfort. "Thank you…" she sighed, looking down at the dirt.

"No problem, man," Joshua said, placing down his skateboard so he could take off his bag that withheld a packed tent. "Just so you know, I think cosplaying is, like, pretty cool, yeah. You don't have to feel ashamed about it, bro."

Light shook her head. "Just don't talk about it," she demanded.

Joshua shrugged as he placed his bag down. "Alright, dude," he conceded. "Wanna, like, help me set up this tent?"

Light looked up at him and nodded. "Sure," she said.

The camera then flashed to Shane and Frank, who both were now singing together. "We're gonna find a camp," they sang. "And then make some bank. Give cell service to Frank. And help the orphans, hooray!"

Shane suddenly stopped in his tracks and pointed ahead. "I think I can see a camp sidekick!" he announced. "Hurry, if we're first we can split that chicken." He sprinted off with excitement.

"You got it, Shane!" Frank cheered, running along with him.

The two eventually made it to a camp, panting and catching their breaths. Chris greeted them with a smile. "Our fifth and sixth to arrive at a camp," he informed them.

"Shoot, no chicken," Shane pouted.

"Yep, sorry," Chris said, pointing behind him with his thumb. "Wayne here claimed that prize."

Shane and Frank glanced over to Wayne, who sat on a log bench near an unlit campfire pit, tinkering with one of his inventions. He noticed them and waved while Miriam, who sat on a separate bench, had her arms crossed and seethed.

"Well, that's alright," Frank said, looking over to Shane. He pulled out his phone and frowned. "So where's the cell service you promised to find me?"

Shane gulped and passively put his head down. "Oh yeah, about that…" he murmured. "I may have lied a little to keep your spirits up. I didn't know how else to do it. I'm sorry."

Frank rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "Well bad news, I'm not your sidekick anymore," he spat. "And you can also forget about that orphanage advertisement too." He then quickly stormed off in frustration.

Chris smirked a little as he observed the situation. "Well, looks like you messed up, superhero," he stated. "Anywho, I gotta go. See ya!" His hologram then flashed and disappeared, leaving Shane to further look down in disappointment.

--

Shane: Oh no, I let my sidekick down… (hangs head in shame) I must make things up for him… somehow.

--

Meanwhile, Chef arrived at the camp with a hot container filled with the prized rotisserie chicken. He handed it to Wayne and smiled. "Here you go, kid," he said before walking off, whistling the Total Drama theme song.

Wayne opened up the container and the scent of juicy well-seasoned chicken filled the camp area. Both Shane and Frank drooled at the smell of it. Wayne noticed this and smiled. "You guys want a bit of this?" he asked.

"Absolutely!" Shane agreed.

"That'd be great," Frank added.

The two went up to Wayne and he tore off a wing for each of them. Frank and Shane both thanked him and ate with delighted eyes. Wayne then glanced over to Miriam and held out the container. "You want some too?" he offered.

"I'm not taking any pity from cheaters," Miriam refused, not even bothering to look at him. "Now don't talk to me, you twerp." Wayne just shrugged and then took a bite out of his chicken.

--

Wayne: Welp, there goes my chance of an alliance with her. (places hand on stomach) But that chicken was goooood, tho.

--

The next campers to arrive at one of the camps were Luna and then Harper. They showed up, one excited, one absolutely drained. Chris greeted them and then congratulated them for making it. Luna squeezed a tired Harper with a cheerful hug before realizing who was their teammate.

"Oh look, the big strong lady is on our team, bestie," Luna said, quickly running up to Light. "Wow, look at dem muscles." Light grunted and kept a stern face as Luna continued to gawk at her appearance.

Meanwhile, Harper immediately went inside one of the tents where Joshua sat inside by himself. Harper plopped his sleeping bags down and then crashed to the floor, sitting up after and moaning in distress.

"What's the matter?" Joshua asked with concern.

Harper rubbed his temples and groaned. "She would not stop singing," he explained with a lot of agitation. "I swear to god, one more second with that Luna girl and I would've killed her."

"Brutal," Joshua said with a slight smirk. "Anyways, I'm gonna, like, be your teammate now."

Harper sighed. "Well there's no way you could be worse than her at least," he said, fiddling with some hair strands.

"Don't make any bets yet," Joshua countered with a sarcastic wink. Harper rolled her eyes and then laid down to get some rest.

The camera then flashed to Van and Tala, who were still pretty deep in the woods. They each collected a decent amount of fruits and berries while on their search. "We are stocked," Van remarked with a giggle. "Still have no clue where this camp is."

Tala squinted off to the distance. "Perhaps I do," she shared. "Follow me."

Van nodded. "You got it, girl," she agreed.

Tala led the way where she could see a bit of a camp in the distance. Van followed behind and soon was able to see it too. They both picked up the pace and eventually arrived. They were then greeted by Chris.

"Fifth and sixth to arrive at this camp," he informed them, pointing at the food they were holding. "And I see you thought ahead."

"All Tala's idea," Van admitted, giving her partner a gracious smile.

Chris nodded his head. "Well, your fellow campers are waiting," he stated, pointing behind him with his thumb.

Van peeked over and could see Shane and Frank setting up a tent, Miriam sitting on a log bench, looking peeved and Wayne in the bench next to her with his chicken, smiling at them. "Wassup?" she said to the techno.

Wayne lifted up his container. "Chicken," he replied. "Want some?"

"Heck yeah, mane," Van cheered. "Come on Tala, bud's saved us some good grub."

Van and Tala went over to Wayne, who handed them the whole container. "You can have the rest," he said. "I've had enough."

"Good looks, cuz," Van thanked. She then handed him an apple. "Here you go."

Wayne took the apple while Van and Tala took a seat down together. Van tore off a piece of chicken and handed it to Tala. "We make a good duo," she said. "You earned this."

Tala blushed and took a bite. "Thanks," she said.

"You feelin' better now?" Van asked. Tala nodded her head and Van smiled. "Good."

--

Tala: The initial anxiety has seemed to wear off for now but I still haven't fully repressed all of my romantic emotions. At least I can speak without making myself look stupid now. (groans) Why can't I just be normal…

--

Suddenly, another pair had arrived at their camp. This time it was Meghan and then Colleen, who made it there by running. Once again, Chris was there to greet them.

"Well, well, well," he grimaced. "Seems like we have one camper too many now." He then pointed at Colleen. "You were technically the eighth one here. Meaning only Meghan is allowed in this camp."

Colleen shared looks with Meghan and then shook her head. "Are you for real?" she asked nervously.

"Yep," Chris affirmed with a snicker. "Guess you gotta find that other camp by yourself now." Colleen looked crushed after hearing this. She began to hug herself and stare at the ground again.

"No, I'll go with her," Meghan offered, grabbing Colleen's hand.

Chris shook his head. "Won't allow that," he denied.

Meghan stamped her foot on the ground. "Well why not?" she protested.

"Because I said so," Chris snapped, crossing his arms. "Now get with your teammates already. Colleen, get the heck outta here."

Meghan shared sad eyes with Colleen and gave her a hug. "Sorry…" was all she could say.

Colleen patted her on the shoulder. "It's fine, don't worry," she reassured. "I'll find that other camp."

"Good luck," Meghan wished before Colleen eventually left the camp to search for the other one.

Chris snickered behind her. "Our first break up," he mocked.

Meghan snapped back and glared at him. "You're a jerk!" she yelled, pointing an angry finger at him. She stormed off, giving him the cold shoulder.

Chris just stood there with a wide grin on his face. "I know," he said.

--

Meghan: Well I just hope Colleen will be okay. It's gonna get dark soon but I know she can do it. Also screw Chris, he can get bent.

--

Chris now stood in front of all seven of the campers. "Congratulations on finding a camp," he announced. "The seven of you will be known as the Bionic Beasts."

Shane saluted and beamed. "The Bionic Beasts, what an excellent superhero squad name," he remarked.

"You're not even a superhero," Miriam countered.

"But I am," Shane refuted, pointing at his outfit.

Miriam smirked. "Oh yeah, then what's your superpower?" she interrogated.

"Being a liar," Frank interjected.

"I said I was sorry, sidekick," Shane pleaded.

Frank glared at him. "I'm not your sidekick anymore. I already declared that," he spat, causing Shane to slump down in sadness.

Chris seemed amused by all of this. "Alright, I think I'll leave you alone now," he told them. "I got another camp to keep an eye on. Peace." He then flashed and disappeared, startling the closest camper that was next to him, Van.

"What kinda hollywood magic is he using?" she quipped.

Meanwhile, Meghan sat by herself, not paying any attention to her team. She was no longer angry but instead depressed. That's when Tala decided to sit down with her. "Hey friend," she greeted.

Meghan looked at Tala and grew a small smile. "Hey," she greeted back. "Glad to have you on my team, at least."

"Sorry about Colleen," Tala said, patting Meghan on the shoulder. "But I think now's an opportunity to make new friends."

Meghan shrugged and looked over towards the rest of her team. Van gave her a thumbs up. "You gon be aight, girl," she reassured. "We chill here so we'll get along."

Meghan's smile grew bigger and she picked herself up. "Thanks," she said as Tala stood up with her. The two walked up back to their team, where Van sat between them, wrapping her arms around their shoulders.

"The squad is all here," Van said, swaying her and the two side to side a bit.

Shane perked his head. "Am I in the squad?" he asked with hopeful eyes.

Van nodded. "Of course, boo," she assured. "We all are the squad." Shane jumped up from his seat and saluted, making Van giggle.

"Yeah, I like this team a lot," Wayne shared. "You all seem easy to get along with…" He quickly glanced over to Miriam. "Well, almost all of you."

Miriam glared at him. "Shut your mouth, cheater," she grumbled, gritting her teeth.

"I don't know why you think I cheated," Wayne deflected.

"You used technology to gain an advantage in a foot race," she explained, pointing an irate finger at him. "That's the pure definition of cheating!"

Wayne crossed his arms and shook his head. "I don't remember anything about that not being allowed," he defended. "Maybe you're just salty that me, a geek, outbeated you, the jock!"

Miriam jolted up, stamping her foot on the ground. "You know what?" she snapped, looking like she was about to tackle him. "Screw you and screw this team! I'm going to bed!" She then stormed off inside a nearby tent, leaving all the others to be bewildered by her outburst. Van especially, who seemed the most upset by it.

--

Van: What is that girl's problem? Out here tryna ruin the vibe, like who she think she is?

--

Back at the other camp, Light had set up a campfire, warming up her fellow teammates for the night. She placed a pot over it, letting it heat up. Both Joshua and Harper sat and watched her in boredom, while Luna played imaginary samurai fights with herself.

Chris then appeared, startling everyone but Light, who just rolled her eyes. "Bad news," he said. "The other camp already has all their campers. So whoever is last to arrive here will drink the smoothie. See ya!" He then disappeared in a flash.

"Why does he keep doing that?" Light grumbled to herself before shaking it off. "Nevermind, we need food. Will you help me?" She glanced at Joshua first.

"Nah, man," Joshua declined with a little shrug. Light then moved her glance towards Harper.

Harper rolled his eyes. "I thought you said you did things solo," he returned.

Light growled and shook her head. "Lazy weaklings," she muttered to herself.

Luna then ran up to Light and tugged on her overcoat. "I'll search for food with you," she offered. "Let's go!"

Light shrugged. "Fine," she said, dragging Luna with her and leaving the camp.

Joshua laid back, enjoying the warmth of the fire. He looked over to Harper and smirked. "So, like, what do you wanna talk about?" he asked.

Harper gave him a look before shaking his head. "Screw this, I'm sleeping in the tent," he said, picking himself up and leaving Joshua to be alone.

Joshua stared back at the fire and shrugged. "Bad vibes from her, man," he said to himself.

The camera then flashed back to Ezra and Robin, both of them having no clue where they were. Ezra rubbed his goatee. "Gee, it's getting dark," he observed.

"Yeah, we really need to pick up the pace," Robin said, scouring the area by sniffing around. "I think I smell smoke or something. A campfire maybe?"

Ezra shrugged. "Or a forest fire," he added.

"I'm assuming my suggestion," Robin said, giving him a look. "Come on, let's follow that scent. It could take us where we need to be."

"Just hope we won't be last or something," Ezra muttered to himself as he carefully followed Robin.

--

Robin: If it hits nightfall, we're screwed. I've heard horror stories about what happens to the woods at dark. I want no part of it.

--

Luna and Light were now by a stream that ran through the island. Light crouched right by it, observing the waters closely. Luna tiptoed up to her. "Whatcha doin', big strong lady?" she asked.

"Shhh," Light hushed. "Gonna try to catch a fish." She then held still for a few moments as Luna eagerly awaited to see what she would do. Suddenly, Light swiped straight at the water, snatching a fish and yanking it out.

Luna's jaw dropped. "Wow!" she gawked, watching the fish attempt to scramble out of Light's grasp but to no avail. "How'd you do that?"

Light held up the fish and then gave a swift chop to its head, killing it instantly. "Lot's of training," she responded sternly.

Luna looked at the stream and grew a smile. "I wanna try!" she squealed. Light crossed her arms and smirked, finding Luna's enthusiasm to be a bit amusing.

Luna watched carefully for fish. When she saw one close enough, she swiped at it but slipped and fell into the stream. Water splashed all over, soaking Light in the process. She stood there sternly and frowned in disappointment.

Luna pulled herself out of the stream, noticing Light's glare. "Oops," she gulped with a nervous chuckle.

Meanwhile, Colleen was trudging through the forest by herself. Daylight was growing thin and she continued to get more scared and helpless. She moaned and hummed quietly, trying her best to comfort herself.

She walked along, slowly but carefully until she accidentally stepped in something that made her sink a bit. Startled, she took another step and now both her feet sunk a little. She looked down to see that she had just walked into a big puddle of mud.

She tried to yank her feet out but struggled, unable to escape. Her boots were trapped in the mud. She had no choice but to abandon them. She slipped one foot out but then made an error and tripped, falling face first into the gross puddle. The impact loosened up her other boot, fortunately, so she managed to wiggle it free.

She pulled herself out and attempted to yank out the still trapped boot. Unfortunately, when she stepped forward, her just freed boot got trapped again. That's when she decided to give up and carry on barefoot, leaving her boots in the mud. Then all of sudden, a bird dropped a turd on her head.

Colleen's eyes twitched. Her bottom lip quivered and her body grew hot. Everything was finally boiling over for her. "Screw it, let it all out Colleen," she grumbled to herself before releasing a big mighty scream of frustration, terror and agony that could be heard across the entire island.

Chris (the real one, not a hologram) was sitting on a lawn chair near the dock, drinking a cup of hot cocoa when he heard the scream. He snickered to himself. "Someone's not doing so well right now," he said, taking a sip and laying back with ease.

Colleen (with teary eyes and dried mud on her face): First, I have no cell signal so I can't use my insta. Then I'm called a coward and have my bags taken. Then I get lost in the woods. Then I end up being the odd one out and can't be in the team with my friend. And now (sniffs) my boots are ruined and I'm covered in freaking mud and bird crap. Ohhh, it just hasn't been my day today (curls up and cries)

The camera flashed to the currently team-less camp. Joshua sat alone by the fire, adjusting the trucks on his skateboard. He stopped when he heard Ezra and then Robin approaching, the two sharing laughs and sighs of relief.

"Sup bros," he greeted, nodding towards them.

Ezra smiled and walked on over. "Josh, my man," he said, taking a seat next to him. "Are we on the same team? Awesome!"

"Yeah, dude," Joshua confirmed, flipping his board and resting it by his side.

Robin plopped down his bags. "Alright, we're the second and third people to make it to this camp," he said, sitting next to Ezra.

Ezra gave Robin a high-five. "Sweet, I knew we'd be cool," he said, enjoying the campfire. "This is pretty cozy, not gonna lie."

Robin grinned and switched to a Cody impression. "What did you say about me?" he asked.

Ezra laughed really hard. "I meant cozy, Cody," he said, playing along. Robin chuckled with him as Joshua quietly observed the fire in front of them.

Harper then poked his head out of the tent that was set up behind them. "Um fellas, could you keep it down," he pleaded.

Ezra looked back and shrugged. "My bad, Harper," he apologized before turning to Robin. "Guess we're actually third and fourth."

"No you're not," Harper denied. "Me and Luna were."

Robin shared a worried look with Ezra. "So are we last or what?" he pondered in his normal voice.

Just then, Colleen finally showed up. She was barefoot and covered in mud. Her face told a story no words could describe. "Alright…I made it…" she panted, sighing in relief.

Harper furrowed his eyebrows and stepped out of the tent. He walked over to Colleen and eyed her with mild concern. "Oh my god, what happened to you?" he asked.

Colleen shook her head. "I don't wanna talk about it…" she moaned. "At least I'm not last…"

Chris suddenly appeared, startling her. "Yeah about that," he said, pointing off to the distance. "They got here before you."

Colleen glanced over to where he pointed and saw Light holding a big fish in her arms while Luna carried some vegetables. She then groaned, realizing what this meant as Chris snickered.

Luna quickly scurried towards the group and smiled, hugging tightly to her vegetables. "Look, big strong lady," she said as Light followed behind. "Our whole team is here now. Just in time too. I am gonna make us all fish stew with the turnips, carrots and garlic we found lying around. Yeah, it won't exactly be like a gumbo but it sure will be tasty, mmm mmm!"

"Just lying around, huh," Robin remarked, smirking at the host.

Chris rolled his eyes. "It's an artificial island," he reminded him. "We can plant whatever we want. Who cares about proper agriculture anyway?"

"I do," Joshua muttered to himself.

"Anywho, you guys will be known as the Twisted Titans," Chris informed them before turning to Colleen and grimacing. "As for you, you were last overall. It's smoothie time!"

Colleen's eyes saddened and she held her hands together. "Do I really have to?" she pleaded. "I've been through so much already."

Chris shook his head. "That's too sad," he mocked. "Chef will be here to give it to you soon."

"I won't do it!" Colleen shouted, stamping her bare foot on the ground.

Chris laughed provocatively. "Oh, yes you will," he sternly demanded. "Unless you wanna be kicked out early. And you really wanted to be on this show too. Are you really gonna blow it all away over this? Just drink it and you'll be fine."

Colleen stood there thinking over things. She shared looks with her fellow teammates, all with differing demeanors. Then she gulped and nodded her head. "Fine, I will," she conceded.

"Perfect!" Chris cheered. "Looks like Chef is here now. That's my cue." He then disappeared as usual, leaving Colleen face to face with Chef, who held a blender full of the gross liquid and a few cups.

"Just pretend it's lemonade or something," Chef suggested, pouring her a glass. He handed it to her and stepped back, awaiting for the disgustingness to ensue.

Colleen held the glass in her hand, shivering a little. All of her teammates watched with varying degrees of intrigue. She gulped and closed her eyes before chugging the entire thing much to the dismay of everyone around her. She finished it all up and immediately dropped the glass. Her body twitched and her face froze. She groaned heavily and then her face shaded green. Chef did the sign of the cross gesture to himself. Many of her teammates looked away in disgust.

Colleen felt her stomach curdle badly and she winced in pain. She stormed off to a bush and then barfed all over, gasping and crying between each wave. Everyone was horrified…except Luna, who ran up to Chef with glee.

"I want some of that lemonade," she begged. "Can I pretty please have some?"

Chef gave her a look of complete dumbfoundment. "You're one crazy lady," he grunted as he poured her a glass. She snatched it swiftly and then chugged it all the way down.

Luna burped and rubbed her tummy. "Delish!" she said before immediately barfing and fainting head first into her mess.

Meanwhile, Colleen finished her business and stepped away from the bush, looking completely dead in the eyes. She sat down with the others, hunched over and groaned.

Chef chuckled. "Good night, kids," he said, leaving the team all alone at their camp.

Colleen (looking very pale and green): I… hate it here…

The camera flashed to Chris on the dock. The sky was dark and the stars above were glistening. "It seems one of our campers is already in terrible spirits," the host said. "Excellent!"

Chris then let out an evil chuckle. "There will be more souls to crush soon," he reassured. "When we return to reveal our first morph of the island. What type of location will we see? And who will be the first camper to get eliminated? All of that will soon be answered next time on Total Drama Metamorphia!"

And that's a wrap for the first episode. A lot happened so I don't expect everything to be mentioned but please tell me what you thought. And for the users with OCs in this story, am I doing things right enough? Anyways, here's a more clear cut list of the teams, ordered by arrival.

The Bionic Beasts: Wayne, Miriam, Shane, Frank, Tala, Van and Meghan

The Twisted Titans: Light, Joshua, Luna, Harper, Ezra, Robin and Colleen

Now since each episode onwards will be based on a unique location. I'll give a hint to what it is by sharing the name for the next episode. See if you can guess what location it is...

EPISODE 2: SOMETHING SMELLS FISHY

With that being said, stay hydrated and I hope you have a wonderful day :)
