Disclaimer: I certainly don't own any of the Nintendo characters… if I did, then don't you think I would be swimming in money right now instead of writing hopeless stories?

Dear diary,

The weirdest things have been happening around here lately! It all started with Ganondorf… that freak, always causing trouble everywhere. He likes to stare at Zelda a lot and that really bothers me, her being one of my best friends here ever since we arrived at the smash tournament. Maybe I'm too protective?

Anyway, so this is only what I've heard… ever since Ganondorf snuck out of the mansion (To do no good, obviously!), he went missing for more than a week. It was only a few days after we realized he was missing. Surprisingly, Zelda was first to notice. At first we would laugh at her for worrying about him since he seemed to take care of himself just fine. Link was first to become irritated with her worrying and once even accused her of being taken with him. Zelda was so mad at his accusation that she stopped talking to him for the rest of the day. Men say the most bizarre things whenever they're jealous…

So once we began worrying like Zelda, after a few days we received a call from a local police station… it said that they found Ganondorf. At first we thought he got himself arrested (How could anyone blame us? He was always a troublemaker!), but, to our greatest surprise he was taken to a mental institute. There was a bit of silence after we received the news. I could notice that everyone, including myself, were freaking out over it. Master Hand and Crazy Hand were not the ones to be scared. That would be rare; but I guess then was another rare moment. They were completely scared. It even showed and that's saying a lot since they're hands. It was uncalled for; how could someone become insane in such a small amount of time? It was obvious that something had happened to him.

We visited him a few days after hearing word of his condition. He was crazy alright. We could see the blankness in his eyes and the unforeseen movements like constant jerking and loud grunting as he paced around his spongy box. Once he saw us his grunts suddenly stopped. We didn't know what to say or do at that point. We just stared as he stared back. Then he took a few short steps towards us with his eyes round and blank. Then he whispered "it is coming". We started freaking out. Then he started screaming, "IT is coming and IT will kill us all!" Zelda couldn't take any more of the weirdness and began crying. We left right after she began crying. Visiting time was over anyway.

So that's about it. So now not only are we missing a smasher, Zelda is still freaked from the whole incident. We try to console her sometimes whenever we meet her in the halls but nothing works. She's even requested a 'break' from fighting. I'm worried for her. I (Nor did anyone for that matter.) didn't expect her to be so shaken up by the situation. We're all worried for her. I really hope she gets over it soon.

Yours truly,

Peach Toadstool

P.S. I'm still thinking about what Ganondorf said before. I bet I'm not the only one too. I'm sure the feeling will pass though. It's not as if he might have meant anything. After all, he has lost it. But even that still makes me wonder…
