Breakthru

Hardcore Tavern-Johnstown, PA

August 15th, 2020

The supposed 'New Normal' was anything but, with things changing on a daily basis. About the only thing that seemed 'normal' was Heart & Soul staying put inside their Hardcore Tavern. Although the invite-only crowd of about a 100 didn't reveal it, there was still indeed a big event atmosphere hanging in the air. Heart & Soul was back on pay-per-view after the dreadful experience of I Want It All. Things were far different. No despondent crowd fighting amongst themselves over how they want a character represented, no mud to slip and slide and throw bodies into cars. Heart & Soul had made a breakthrough, turning the bow of their ship head long into the oncoming waves to avoid being swamped.

Two things would be clear after the final bell tolled tonight. There would be a team of two wrestlers walking out of the Conemaugh Valley with the Heart Of Wrestling Tag Team Championships. But of equal importance would be the fate of the main event at Innuendo. Two of the fiercest brawlers in the Fiction Wrestling Multiverse shall tear each other apart until only man is left breathing. That man will have the honor of being the very first challenger for the Heart Of Wrestling World Championship. A championship that was currently locked tight around the waist of 'The Top Bill' Adam Price.

Gautier Pre-Show: Cyrus II vs. Unnamed Local Talent

Before the pay-per-view kicked off proper, there would be the second installment in Heart & Soul's sponsorship by Gautier CyberMeds. Just like at CyberDuoSlamo, one of the androids created by Dr. Matthew Brand's company would show off their strength in a exhibition match. While last month featured a established name, this time around was some unnamed talent. They had the unfortunate task on facing Dr Brand's latest CyberAide, Cyrus II. Unlike Cass, who seemed to be a bit more aware of the world they'd just been created into, Cyrus II was strictly a machine. Cyrus II went in and to destroy the unnamed enhancement talent. The octopus stretch better have been worth the $100 the unnamed wrestler was paid, because it had to be painful. The match ended with the quirky Dr Brand cutting a promo on how his CyberAides would be revolutionizing the lives of everyone in the coming for once to hear someone say things about androids without malicious intentions.

Lucia Siycron vs. Kaylie Kassiss vs. Dazzling Rose - Three Way Dance- Innuendo Women's Title Match

The first match set for the official broadcast aim to etch one of the championship matches at Innuendo in stone. Both previous pay-per-views had some considerable time allotted for determining the four participants in the upcoming Fatal Four Way to crown the inaugural Soul Of Wrestling Championship. The most prolific entrant had been Selena Richardson, coming out on top over 20 other women (in controversial manner). Leslie Haines & Sarah Ortiz had both fought hard in respective Three Way Dances to acquire their slots (the less aid about the mortifying show it occurred on, the better). The last slot still awaited one of the three women entering the Hardcore Tavern tonight (lets hope this time around it'll be clean of muck & controversy).

Lucia Siycron came out with a noticeable wave of support from the crowd. Out of all three, her name was the most familiar with the sample of the Johnstown Faithful. Kaylie was the most unknown to the crowd, and generated the least reaction as her lone Suits & Wildcard appearance had yet to be enough to make a impression. The masked enigma from the rising sun known only as Dazzling Rose generated a few bellowing cheers from those in the know on her prior history. Many others were now made curious to see what she could do now that she was in a less crammed ring.

Lucia Siycron was quite literally other worldly. The uncanny alien glare through the human flesh she used as camouflage was just one of several ways she was distant of the action in the first few seconds. She moved about just enough to be nothing more than a footnote to Kaylie & Rose, with the hothead from Southampton wasting no time trying to tear into the Flying Rose. Kaylie had a slight weight & clear height advantage. But she lacked the skill & grace Dazzling Rose possessed. Kaylie's lunges were constantly being avid. Lucia quickly made her mind up on who she was going to target first, taking Kaylie out for a moment with a diving clothesline before kicking her unceremoniously out from the under the bottom rope.

Dazzling Rose seemed to be wanting to set Lucia up for something with a full nelson but got caught by the Space Seductresses' chilling gaze. Almost comically Dazzling Rose kept her hands up high in the air, as if saying she was innocent. Lucia stalked her prey back into the center of the ring…before extending her palms up to Rose's, the two engaging into a power struggle through their tie up. Initially Dazzling Rose seemed to be winning the battle of strengths, but Lucia tapped into some alien strength to power up from nearly having her spine cut at a right angle. Though Dazzling Rose brought out appreciation from the crowd, the fans in the Tavern were more drawn to the mystique around Lucia. A Irish Whip is blocked into a hiptoss that's also blocked that then becomes a swinging neckbreaker to put Rose down to the mat.

Lucia continued to struggle with Rose, who was finding several ways to break free from the grasp of the Space Seductress. Rose evaded back to one corner, getting up on Bret's Rope (2nd rope) to try and gain some higher ground over Lucia. She gets a good jab with her foot at Lucia, but a second kick is snagged. Lucia yanks her off the ropes and on even footing, both scuffle. Kaylie hops back into the action, scaling to the top of the turnbuckle and crashing down upon Dazzling Rose (Lucia had caught sight and sidestepped). Kaylie found herself landing in perfect position for a roll up pin attempt, but its quickly kicked out of.

Kaylie got a brief flurry of offense on Rose, but soon ran head on into a stiff lariat from Lucia. Kaylie didn't drop to her knees, but instead slouched into the grasp of Lucia who did whatever she wanted with the self-proclaimed Pharaoh. Lucia found the strength to pick Kaylie up and try to toss her as a dart at Rose. Kaylie managed to put her arms out to protect her head as her whole body went soaring into the top of the turnbuckle with Snake Eyes. But the impromptu missile missed its intended target, Dazzling Rose darted at Lucia to try and cut her legs out from under her. Going low fails so going high seems the next logical choice. She tries to springboard back into the ring for a roundhouse kick that Lucia manages to duck. But the springboard meteora on the second time around gets a pin effort, eking out for a 2 count.

Kaylie & Rose once again are locking horns, in fact spilling out to the floor for one moment. Kaylie manages to lay waste to Rose with a inverted DDT on the hardwood floor. Rallying some of the fans behind her, she returns to the ring with cross hairs on Lucia. Though Kaylie could get some softening moves over, Lucia was stubborn to late Kaylie get another inverted DDT. Being wrenched back allowed access to Kaylie's hair, which the Space Seductress pulled down on with all her might. Before anyone could fully react, Lucia let go and dropped to the canvas, weaving in between Kaylie's legs. She's lifted off the canvas, rolled back onto Lucia's shoulders who executes a Samoan Drop. Lucia's pin attempt goes to a little over 2 before Kaylie kicks out.

Rose would soon find herself in full control for a instant. Lucia took the full brunt from another meteora, giving Dazzling Rose enough time to get on the top buckle for a frog splash. Kaylie wasn't thinking straightly, wanting to make a impression rather than allowing Rose & Lucia to tire themselves out. Rose got no good pin attempt, but instead found herself caught in a attempted Tornado DDT. Rose managed to keep her feet firm on the canvas, however, finding the strength to power Kaylie off her feet. Kaylie manages to prevent the Elevated DDT she was being pulled in. But Lucia helps Rose get Kaylie off her feet, the impromptu due send the Pharaoh plummeting shoulder blades first upon two knees; one from either opponent.

Lucia & Rose become locked in a chain of switching as one woman tries to gain a edge over the other. Lucia manages to bring Rose to the mat with a headlock that's visually enhanced by Lucia trying to rub the top of Rose's skull back and forth along the silvery gray canvas. Kaylie throws herself back into the fight, sliding in with a very low double foot dropkick to Lucia's face. More 2 on 1 action transpires as Rose joins in with Kaylie dogpiling on Lucia. Kaylie is throwing palm strikes all over the upper body of the Space Seductress, while Rose delvers some kicks and knee strikes to the gut. Rose & Kaylie try team-up bulldog but of clearly not in sync. Lucia capitalizes by letting their momentum power her, tripping up Rose before casting Kaylie over the ropes.

Lucia hones in on the Dazzling Rose, taking considerable time to wear her out. Rose still is trying to find slick ways to break free. But what is normally her salvation, the ropes, turns into a prison. Whatever high octane move she was attempting was for not, as Lucia charged up to face her on the ropes. A flurry of fists spun the masked enigma into a trance. Lucia turned her back to Rose, allowing her opponent to rest upon her shoulders. She reached up to try and lock around the cranium, maybe a Falcon Arrow…

But A Tower Of Bodies Crumbled Into The Ring! Kaylie Jumped Up On The Top Rope, Grabbing Rose's Head And Drilling Her Face Into The Canvas Below With A Diving Bulldog! Most Impressive Was Dazzling Rose Having The Wherewithal To Tighten Her Knees And Facebuster Lucia During The Fall!

Rose would have for sure been eliminated, had she not had landed so close to the edge of the apron. She allows the impetus of the impact to barrel herself over the lip of the ring's edge and out of sight. Kaylie may have trigged the collapse, but paid for it by landing bad on her knee. She crawls to the only one left prone, Lucia. It's a near fall, but the Space Seductress stays alive. The self-proclaimed Pharaoh takes a few jabs to soften up Lucia, but the first of the two knee strikes for her finisher cause her a great deal of pain. Kaylie takes a moment, considering if its worthwhile permanently damaging her knee now and then be in terrible shape to go after the Soul Championship…

….

It's A Delay That Costs Her Any Reason To Think Of That Belt. Dazzling Rose Soars Back In Over The Top Rope, Taking Kaylie Down With The Blooming Rose (Dragonrana). Kaylie Is The First One Eliminated From The Contest!

The playing field was even in terms of numbers, but one was standing tall over the other. Dazzling Rose just knew Lucia was agonizing through several internal bruises that could be made all out lethal wounds. She plays some mind games, recalling to the full nelson attempt from earlier. She slowly holds up one palm after the other before whipping her foot into the side of Lucia's neck. A Full Nelson facebuster as Lucia down but doesn't satisfy the Dazzling Rose. She wants Lucia down and immobile to cement the victory….

The Pedal Spin (630 Senton) Is Beautifully Cast Out, But Lucia Rolls To Safety!

Rose would continue to try and find ways to wipe out the Space Seductress. It was immediately apparent, however, that she had crippled her chances of the success after the missed Senton. Lucia was regenerating strength that the Dazzling Rose could no longer match. One last bid of a Flying Spinning Heel Kick is caught by Lucia, freezing the masked enigma with horror of sensing her time was up. Lucia roped her foe up, planting the Dazzling Rose with the Black Hole Slam to win the Three Way Dance! 'The Space Seductress' Lucia Siycron will fight amongst 'The Female Enigma' Sarah Ortiz, 'The Heiress' Leslie Haines & 'The Auburn Beauty' Selena Richardson; All four vying to be the inaugural Soul Of Wrestling Champion at Innuendo.

Gospel Of Wealth vs. Sword & Shield Heroes - Semi Finals

Referee Mike Attitude would be taking charged of the next contest of the official pay-per-view card. The first of the two critical Semi-Final matches in the Heart of Wrestling Tag Team Championships. Both teams had some curiosity about their placement in the tournament. There was the fact that the duo known as Sword & Shield Heroes were the only mixed team involved in the championship pursuit. There was also the matter that the Gospel of Wealth were a team from obscurity who had displayed unanticipated dominance in their debut and first round bout. The question therefore was, who was going to trailblaze to the finals?

Raphtalia & Carnegie are the first two that square off. Raphtalia starts off full throttle, much as she had done in the first round. Carnegie lapsed into ducking & avoiding bicycle kicks and clotheslines. Unfortunately for Raphtalia, most of her shots were not really hitting the mark. Carnegie was too quick in the first couple of minutes for the Kanata Sword Hero. Carnegie soon gets caught and rattled when Raphtalia transitions out of some sort of attempt of a armlock, jumping up and hitting him in the jaw with two high knee lifts. It was enough for the Gospel of Wealth to quickly reconsider their strategy.

Carnegie redirected a spinning heel kick, Raphtalia got her left leg tangled up in the upper two ring ropes. By the time she'd freed herself, Wilson Clay Frick came a honing across the ring. Clubbing forearms smashed into her neck and shoulders, she was trapped between Frick & the ropes. Frick's short powerhouse image is justified as he casts Raphtalia across the ring with a german suplex. He hits a second german with shorter distance but more impact for a bridging pin attempt. After a bit more of attempts to get quick finish, Frick got frustrated by Raphtalia continually kicking out and chose to instead throw her over the ropes….but a skin-the-cat back in lead to Frick being briefly taken off his feet by a spinning heel kick. She kept the momentum to her corner, tagging in Naofumi.

Naofumi comes into the match with adrenaline equaling his partner's. Frick tries continually to try and cut Naofumi's legs out form under him with mixed results. His attempts at a Biel Throw are thwarted, the Shield Hero got enough stamina to lock his legs on the mat. He manages to counter into a Irish Whip, but quickly is given a receipt via a shoulder tackle. Frick makes a quick tag back to Carnegie, Frick being courteous to his partner to do a flapjack so Carnegie may bring Naofumi's head down with a bulldog. Frick goes a bit dirty, dragging Naofumi with him on his way out of the ring. While Referee Attitude catches that, he seemingly can't notice Lauren Pitcairn on the outside drilling her elbow several vicious times into Naofumi's Achilles Tendon! The Shield Hero struggles stand from there on, trying to throw his arms up in bids to protect from Carnegie's attacks.

Naofumi now is embroiled in an intense struggle to tag Raphtalia back into the match. The entirety of the Gospel of Wealth make such a struggle a nightmare. Aside from Lauren pecking at the bad leg like a vulture whenever the ref isn't paying attention, Carnegie's arsenal is perfect for exasperating such a injury. Leg Chops, Drop Toe Holds, Boston Crabs (of both the single & double variants), anything & everything to tear at the tendons in the ankle. Naofumi almost looks like he'll be able to tag Raphtalia, but gets dragged in for an attempt at Carnegie's Steel Rivet (Cloverleaf). But Naofumi manages to offset Carnegie's balance before he can sit into the submission, rolling him over into a roll-up pin attempt.

Carnegie kicks out, and darts to tag Frick back in. Naofumi tries in vain to crawl to his corner, but seemingly is ran over by a freight truck. The Shield Hero is stomped into a metaphorical mud-hole, Frick's feet landing precisely on that crippled Achilles, all the while Raphtalia is forced to watch. Unless, that's until she can't take no more. To Hell With The Rules, Raphtalia races to the rescue. Frick's firm stance takes a sag as he gets blasted in the face with a bicycle kick. It's the lariat on the rebound that puts him down to the canvas. Mike Attitude quickly interjects himself between Frick & Raphtalia, continually chastising her. All of this while Carnegie quietly drags Naofumi from salvation to the Gospel of Wealth's corner. Raphtalia tries getting the referee's attention, but he continually berates the Katana Hero until she begrudgingly gets back out on the apron.

Carnegie stomps on Naofumi's leg, which just over the apron. Lauren approaches the leg with more devilish intentions…

But While Lauren's Materialistic View Of The World Wouldn't Be Changed, Her Literal View Went Dark After A Charging Bicycle Kick From Raphtalia! The Katana Sword Hero had raced from her corner after being berated by the referee, taking her frustrations out on the source of all the interference. Nora Mellon & Cyrus D Morrell, the other two associates in the Gospel Of Wealth, charge down upon Raphtalia immediately after. She manages to fight off Nora, who goes a ricocheting into the arms of a few fans, but Cyrus is just too much to battle. Carnegie hops down, surprisingly wanting to keep things a bit clean and tries to get Cyrus away from Raphtalia. Frick looked to want to spill to the outside to stop Raphtalia as well…

But Naofumi Had Found The Time To Partially Recover, Slipping Under Frick's Legs And Throwing Him Back Into The Middle Of The Ring With A Olympic Slam! The crowd pops, the tables had suddenly been shifted back into the favor of the heroes. Naofumi wrenched Frick's leg close for a secure grapevine. Attitude was still observing whatever was occurring on the outside, until Naofumi shouted for him….

CARNEGIE JUMPS IN TO BREAK IT UP!

The crowd sours, wanting the Sword & Shield Heroes to get a surprise comeback to spite all the shenanigans that had occurred throughout the match. Venom was spat at both the Gospel of Wealth and Mike Attitude (Because referees are always the punching bag of upset crowds). Raphtalia had gotten back to her corner, extending her hand out as far as she could without tipping over the ropes. Frick clung desperately to Naofumi's leg, but at last made the hot tag. The crowd came out of their slump from moments earlier when Frick's face is spiked by a face smash kneebreaker. The spinning heel kick wipes Frick clean off his feet, the momentum is firmly behind the Heroes. After a short run of offense from Raphtalia, Frick tries to reach for Carnegie's hand to tag in….and it is extremely satisfying for everyone to watch Raphtalia drag Frick away at the last moment. Frick tries to get back to his feet, hoping up and down on one leg. He whisks toward Raphtalia with a closed punch that she ducks, trading the leg for the wrist. Frick is whipped back into the Heroes corner. Raphtalia was tagging Naofumi back in, but Carnegie CHARGED into the same corner. Raphtalia is smashed into the corner pad, Frick drops to the canvas and crawls away to safety. Naofumi begins wailing on Carnegie to try and get through the ropes. Carnegie sags from enough shots, and is taken down by Naofumi's Discus Shield Shot (Modified Discus Elbow). Carnegie isn't the legal man, that's Frick who slides both boots right into the back of Naofumi's injured ankle. The Shield Hero collapses in a instant. Frick tosses Naofumi back onto his head with the Strike Breaker (Cobra Clutch Slam). 1,2,3 And Just Like That, The Gospel Of Wealth Go To The Finals Of The Championship Tournament.

Armed Vanguards vs. Team FCKU- Semi Finals

The first Semi-Finals may have featured two teams that puzzled the micro-crowd invited in the Tavern. The teams who had made it to the second Semi-Finals had clear cut perspectives amongst the crowd. The Armed Vanguards burst onto the scene with the admirations of all hundred inside, with the home audience for sure backing them also. Frank Woods pumped up the crowd as also, while Mason dosed off into concentrating how he was going to break the bones of their opponents. Team FCKU came out to receiving the same level of disgust they normally throw at a audience. Christopher Auburn, Fabio Aureo, both were vile yet cunning men. Both were poised to become one of the biggest names in tag wrestling. Both were gunning to be the inaugural champions. Both had no problems tearing the beloved veterans in two and leaving the fans to clean up their entrails when the final bell rang.

The first two men pitted against one another was Frank Woods & Christopher Auburn. Both were having a heated exchange of insults that once could only wish would have been audible. The verbal war seems to be going in Woods favor, pushing and walking over more and more of the ring. Christopher is in a corner, and the only perceptible words spoken end with "Make My Day, Make My Day Kid!"…

The Slap Of Hand Hitting Shoulder Echoes, Fabio Wastes No Time Hoping In As The Legal Partner. Christopher grins while snaking away, having pulled Woods into a ambush. The barrage of fists has Woods staggering into the ropes, where he's swamped and nearly pushed out of the ring entirely. Only Senior Official Mamoru Unno's interference keeps the action in the squared circle. That doesn't save Woods from a horrifying running headbutt! Woods in then taken through a whirlwind of power moves, each one widening that grin on Christopher's face.

The fighting does spill out to the floor, where Fabio got a bit ambitious with a diving suicide dive over the top rope! What's even more stunning, is watching Woods redirect Fabio HEAD FIRST INTO THE HARDWOOD FLOOR! Woods tries capitalizing with a brainbuster, but get piled on by a Christopher racing to the far side of the ring where the action was. Mason breaks up the pile-up, taking out both of Christopher's legs and ramming his spine into the ring post. Both Mason & Woods crack Fabio's back into the edge of the ring with a Two Man Exploder Suplex.

Christopher continues to scuffle with Mason a bit longer on the outside, but the action primarily shifts back inside the ring. After some softening up, Woods put Fabio up into the 115 (Argentine Backbreaker into a Double Knee Gutbuster). The Gold Experience wasn't tied up another, whoever, and TWISTED Woods ear until he let him loose. He gets a discus elbow square in the jaw, beginning a onslaught of Fabio offense. Woods is chewed all to hell, his sternum is shot to pieces by the Bonecracker Boot (Running Big Boot while tied in the Tree of Woe).

Mason nearly gets the hot tag to Woods who becomes netted into a figure-four, but Christopher runs the length of the ring to bonk Mason in the forehead. Fabio is not anticipating just how much pain Woods is able to endure. The Gold Experience in fact grows furious when Woods sits up and grins sadistically. Something like you'd see between Brock Lesnar & Undertaker. Fabio gives up on the figure four, quickly locking Woods for the Lumbar Puncture (Belly-To-Back Suplex into a Backstabber)…

Mason Saves Woods, Grabbing His Legs And Yanking Him Back To The Canvas When Fabio Attempted The Throw Over!

The match breaks down into sheer chaos. Christopher charges back in, piling upon Mason. Fabio also gets his shots in, Team FCKU are punching and kicking Mason down against one of the silver corner pads. They try to whip Mason across the ring for some sort of double team move, but never get the chance to execute it on the rebound. Woods swings his arms around Fabio's waste, throwing him over with a Belly-To-Back into a Reverse STO! Christopher tries piling on Woods, but soon gets a knee to his back from Mason. Woods then puts him to the canvas via a double team bulldog. The Codebreaker rolls to safety on the floor, while Mason rushes to his corner to legally tag Woods into the match.

Fabio may have taken extensive damage but is astonishingly back into the thick of it in a hurry. Mason & Fabio are eventually caught in a exchange of fierce chops that de-evolve into a open palm strikes before Fabio knees Mason hard in the gut. Mason is thrown into the ropes; the Golden Experience hopes to get a running big boot. Mason holds tight on the purple wires, barreling at Fabio and tacking him down with a lariat! Mason & Fabio both exchange pinfalls while they are in the ring, the last of which Christopher dives into break-up.

Anothe melee revs up the crowd and the pace of the match, ending with Mason's head being SMASHED by simultaneous knee smashes: Christopher's springboard pushing the back of the head into Fabio's running high knee! Fabio would have made the pin, but he was clearly exhausted, caving back into his corner and allowing the Codebreaker to tag himself into the match. He hits a Codesault upon entering the ring, covering Mason…

MASON KICKS OUT, The Crowd Is Aghast Positively!

Christopher has to hit Mason with several more powerful strikes. Some of which are nearly countered out of, forcing the Codebreaker to think on the fly. He eventually gets Mason's leg are crossed up in what Christopher titles the FaunusTamer (Cloverleaf Liontamer). Mason gripping facial expressions say all about the agony he is enduring. Twice he looks ready to tap out, the crowd pleads against it…

Mason Manages To Muster Through The Pain And Get To The Ropes For The Break! Christopher lets the legs loose, stomping on the back of both of Mason's knees immediately after. After some more messing around, Christopher tags in Fabio. The Gold Experience may not be 100% but he certainly feels he can put Mason away. Christopher pulls Mason up in a full-nelson, holding him for a running big boot from Fabio. Mason Manages To Duck His Head, The Boot Destroys Christopher's Face Accidentally! Mason Drops To The Canvas, Throwing Christopher To The Canvas With A Hiptoss. He still gets his face blown in by a Fabio's running knee. Yet ANOTHER brawl breaks out between the two, this time spilling out on the stage. Mason is being beaten down by Christopher & Fabio, with then looking to try and ram Mason's head into the brick wall…

WOODS TAKES BOTH FABIO & CHRISTOPHER OUT WITH A SUICIDE DIVE! Woods Hooks Christopher's Head, UNLOADING HIS FIST INTO HIS SKULL! Fabio gets to his feet, his partner had taken the brunt of the dive, and hooks his fingers into Wood's facial orifices. Woods is cast back over the ropes and into the ring, rather nastily too as he released by Fabio hooking of the face. Fabio rubs his hand on his trunks, allowing Mason to blast him in the face. He takes Fabio OFF the stage with a Rolling Fireman's Carry Slam!

Mason is running on pure adrenaline, rolling Fabio into the ring but drops to his knees in exhaustion. Mason looks up to see Fabio starting to rise back to his feet…

BUT GETS CAUGHT BY WOODS, WHO HITS THE BAY OF PIGS (Wheelbarrow Lift Into An Elevated Neckbreaker)! Mason uses the last of his adrenaline to dart into the ring to make the cover…

2…

3!

Woods slides into the ring at the sound of the final bell, trying to shake Mason out of his stupor. The Armed Vanguards had so much to look forward and prepare for. They were heading to the Finals Of The Heart Of Wrestling Tag Team Tournaments…but had a little more than a hour to get prepared for that match.

Christopher House vs. Johnny Alvarez….

"The Following Contest Is A No Disqualification Two Out Of Three Falls Match." Holo announces. "The Winner Earns The Right To Challenge For The Heart Of Wrestling Championship At-"…

"What's He Doing Out Here?" Bennett asked, the camera cutting to show the best view of Renton Thurston trudging out onto the stage. Eureka is immediately behind him, being pulled along as she's holding Renton's hand.

"Oh, He Just Took A Wrong Left On A Date With The Coralien. Of Course." Critic sarcastically sales.

"of course." Bennett deadpans, as Renton gets a hand on Holo's microphone. The deity is stubborn to let it go, trying to tug it back and hopefully stay the course for the remainder of the pay-per-view. But Eureka steps forward, asking more kindly for the microphone to be given up. Holo at last abides, leaving the ring purely to the two.

"Please don't let me your blood lust distract you from the injustice plaguing Heart & Soul." Renton requests. "Please don't let your solidarity with a psychopath distract you from the fluke that was allowed to transpire. Please don't let your admiration with a Spoiled Fighter distract you from the fact the wrong man was allowed to go over. Please don't let your hatred of The Top Bill make you forget that someone else would be rightfully holding that championship….had it not been for the injustice of allowing a fluke like Bow eek out his sole win in this company!"

"Sore Loser Renton out in full force." Bennett grimaces in frustration. The invite-only crowd in the Tavern were having none of Renton's venting.

"The Heart Of Wrestling Champion Should Be Me! I Am The Greatest Mecha Pilot Whose Ever Took The Plunge Into A Squared Circle!...We Are The Greatest Couple Of Mecha Pilots In The Ring!" Renton declares, forcefully raising the hand of Eureka up in the air. The coralian was silent and a bit perplexed. "The Right Thing That Heart & Soul Can Do Is Put Me In This Match!"

"what?" Bennett asked over the airwaves.

"Make This A Triple Threat. A Three Way Dance. A Fearsome Threesome. Whatever Its Called. Its What's Right. Its What's Just!" Renton proclaimed, visibly serious while the boos peaked.

"He knows he's burning through our pay-per-view time? We go dark at the 3 hour mark, no remorse." Critic asks.

"He knows." Bennett grumbles.

"CUT HIM OFF! CUT HIM OFF! CUT HIM OFF!" The small but impactful crowd insists.

Renton didn't have a word to say afterwards. He and Eureka just remained in the center of the ring, holding hands. If this symbolism of their love was a bid to win sympathies with the crowd, it was failing miserably. But there are no signs the two are going anywhere until Renton gets some kind of response. A response that at least isn't telling him to pack his bags and go…

Someone has been drawn by the 'Best Mecha Pilot', but not someone anyone was expecting. It's Vash The Stampede! He lacks any musical fanfare, but the bright redcoat is instantly identifiable. He's pace is slow & cautious, plagued by confusion as to what Renton's rambling plans to achieve. He pauses on the stage, looking across at Renton and mouthing "what are you doing?".

"Vash The Stampede. First we've seen of him since I Want It All." Bennett states.

"Where he lost to Adam Price at the end of the tournament. Maybe he's come out to cry as well." Critic tacks on, purposefully demeaning Vash to gain that little bit of heel heat.

Vash is in the ring, Renton pulls Eureka behind his shoulders. Vash is armed with his own microphone which he most likely politely asked for backstage. There's no malice in Vash's eyes nor his stance. Renton however looks to be hiking up and ready for any reason the retaliate.

"Renton." Vash begins, quickly getting some verbal jabs from back. "Renton, Renton. Im out here not to berate but to explain. I can't stand to sit back there and watch someone as bright & promising as you self-destruct over one loss."

"That's Easy For You To Say. You Were In The Main Event!" Renton snaps back.

"You're right. I was…I was and I lost. Im not Heart Champion, I failed to achieve that in June. Now I am watching carefully the competition and seeing where I can back into the thick of the fight. It could be a few months, it may be a year or two." Vash states.

"I Can't Wait That Long!" Renton shouts.

"You Can't Wait That Long? You're going to be waiting even longer if you come out here every show and senselessly take someone out. Nobody is going to award you for being a sore loser. Just about the only thing you're going to get awarded is a kick to the face." Vash bluntly replies at the enraged mecha pilot. "It Hurts Because It's the Truth, Renton. This is 2020. Nobody has gotten what they want. Everyone is at varying degrees of bitterness over what's happened to them. But kicking & screaming & causing mayhem isn't going to make things any better."

"It Got Your Attention." Renton reminds Vash.

"You got my attention because you have so much potential. I would hate to see it wasted by frustration. Nobody wants to put up with someone who thinks they are better than everyone else. If you want credibility, you got to earn it. Its not easy, Renton, its not easy. But patience & endurance are two of the biggest attributes one can admire in this day and age. If you can have those two attributes, you'll get your title shot one day." Vash tries to assure Renton.

The fans are mixed on Vash trying to pacify Renton. Everyone would just like to get to the hotly anticipated 2 Out Of 3 Falls. They'd much rather jump into the ring themselves and take Renton out quickly rather than this longer and more peaceful route Vash is attempting to open up for the troubled kid from Bellforest. Renton is keeping his mouth shut, hoping his glares are enough to answer. He does at last give some type of response.

"You raise some points…it sounds like you want to lead me down your path of success." Renton reacts rather calmly.

"You could call it that…" Vash cautiously replies, some shadows shuffle across the wall opposite the viewfinder of the hard camera.

"I don't want to trip in your potholes." Renton spats back after much delay…

THE KING OF VINYL CLOBBERS THE HUMANOID TYPHOON FROM BEHIND!

"Atticus Brown! Atticus Brown Just Jumped Vash!" Bennett exclaims.

"Paying Renton For His Services Last Month!" Critic proclaims.

"I'd Like To See That Receipt. Whatever It Was, Its Too Much!" Bennett retorts, Vash is pummeled flat down on the canvas.

The crowd is furious at such a sight, seeing The Humanoid Typhoon being stampeded over by the feet of Atticus & Renton. Atticus had been followed into the ambush by Isla Woods, The Flower Girl soon gets an equal amount of stomps in. A 3-on-1 mud stomping, with Eureka timidly inserting her foot in just once. No barricades in such close quarters leads to the mad crowd rushing to the very edge of the apron. Fans are slamming their hands on the canvas, and shouting profanities at the four ambushers.

"Get Someone Out Here!" Critic exclaims. "Before The Tavern Gets Trashed!"

"Save Vash, Dammit!" Bennett shouts, the beatdown continues with the calls of aid seeming to fall on deaf ears.

Isla shoos Atticus away, opening Vash up to be yanked off the mat by Renton. The so called "Best Mecha Pilot" Slams Vash On The Back Of His Neck, Snap Dragon Suplex! He then makes some adjustments, being calculating in that Vash is dead center of the ring. Renton's finger aim guides all eyes onto Atticus Brown. The King of Vinyl makes a bee-line for the nearest corner.

"These Two Make A Hell Of A Ad-hoc Team." Critic hails Atticus & Renton. "They've Been Denied Their Rightful Admiration Their Entire Lives."

"Oh what the hell are you babbling on about?" Bennett dismisses.

"Renton Is The Best Mecha Pilot! Atticus Is The Maestro Of The 450 Splash! But They Won't Let You Know That!" Critic proclaims, as Atticus is above everyone in the Tavern.

"Whose They? Nauscaa? Varrick? Zhu-Li?" Bennett asks dumbfounded, listing off the first executive figures that come to mind in Heart & Soul.

"All The Above! Now Watch This!" Critic exclaims, as Atticus is perched high up for the Record Flip (450 Splash)…

A GOLD ARROW FLIES INTO VIEW, SPEWING OUT A NET THAT TIES UP ATTICUS!

"He Just Shot An Arrow!" Critic shouts, not addressing anyone by name. But we can see form the right of the hard camera Bow & Glimmer rushing into the ring. Atticus is tied up from a net from one of Bow's Net Arrows. He struggles to get free, but only ends up falling off the turnbuckle.

"Bow & Glimmer, At Least Somebody Showed!" Bennett exclaims, the crowd popping at the sight of Renton & Eureka fleeing in the ring. Isla darts under the bottom rope to wherever her boyfriend had tumbled to.

"…He Shot An Arrow!" Critic repeated, this time more angered than shocked.

"It Was A Net! To Stop Them From Injuring Vash!" Bennett defends.

"…HE SHOT AN ARROW!" Critic hollers.

In the ring being rushed by friendly help, Vash had managed to pull himself to the set of ropes nearest of the hard camera. Glimmer helps Vash up to his feet the rest of the way, while Bow has raced to the top of one of the corners eyeing the perpetrators like a hawk. The quartet of disgruntled Heart & Soul talent storm through the tight quarters of the Tavern, meeting resistance from just about every fan.

"Renton may come to rue the day he ambushed Bow & Glimmer." Bennett declares over the sight of Vash & Glimmer both standing tall in the ring. Bow is standing even higher on that turnbuckle, staring with a smile across the Tavern to Renton. The Flower Power couple had already bailed through the front door, never to be seen for the rest of the night. Eureka tugs on Renton's arm, snapping him from his irate staring contest with Bow. The 'Best Mecha Pilots' depart from the Tavern also.

"….HE SHOT A FREAKIN ARROW AT HIM!" Critic shrieks, as the live feed faded to a series of Heart & Soul promotions.
