Chapter 3: At class

One night in class, The Ekg instructor named Pat and phlebotomy instructor Doris have their class come together as team to get sticks in and ekgs in before the

holidays hit. Peaches and Juilian were partners in ekg as they are putting stickers on the students of phlebotomy as they are trying to get their 10th ekg in

before class in. The others were doing the same thing too as Doris and Ranisha and Pat were watching and talking as well as Doris said, So what you ladies going

to be doing over the holidays? I'm going to see my family over the next island. Pat said as Ranisha added, I'm going to be working in the morning and then go

to see my mom also with my husband and my kids. I hate working on the holidays every time and rotations every year. I know. It stinks every time too and it

hurts the families that everyone goes to see every year. Doris said as she opens her locket that she got from her grandmother a long time ago before she died

from fighting the hunters and it had a picture of her and her whole family in it. She soon closes her locket as she tucks it in her scrub shirt as she watches her

student Peaches got her successful ekg at last as she cheered loudly and happily and so did the others. YES! Thank goodness for that! Peaches yelled happily

to Pat and gives her the last ekg. Pat smiles and said, Yes. All done indeed. High five! Peaches and Pat high five as they are happy that Peaches got her last EKG

in. Now she has 10 of them now so far that she has to hand them in and keep going on. Soon she hands in 10 of them to Pat and then went back to the same

students for the sticking part for them so that they can get their 100 sticks in. The students had 85 sticks and they need to get 15 in before the holidays in.

The students were switching groups now as they are done with their thing and now ekg students has to sit and let the phlebotomy students get their sticks

from them so that they can have 100 sticks in or more than 100 if possible. Peaches and Juilian and the other ekg sat down as the phlebotomy students lined

up in front of them as Ranisha comes up in front of everyone as she started to say, Ok everyone, now ekg students got their ekgs from you guys now so that

they can reach up to 10. Now all of you have 85 or more sticks in and now you need to reach 100 sticks. You guys will stick the ekgs and try to get a nice

successful sticks from them if possible. Do your best and do not speed. Slow and steady wins the race and do not fish the needle in the arms. It will cause a

problem if you fish and it really hurts too. Once you get a stick in, move to the next student and keep going until you reach 100th stick. Once you reach it,

You are free to go for the night and after we come back after the holiday break, we will discuss on how the exams are gonna go and how to pass it and the

final stick also. The final stick is not going to be easy for my students. The ekg students will not be with us at the time and they have different exams in their

class and we do not have to worry about the ekg stuff after the holidays. Now, Let's get started now on getting the sticks in from the ekg students now. Doris

then comes over to them as she said, On your mark, set, GO! Then the students of phlebotomy started to stick the ekg students as Peaches groans in pain as

the needle went in her trunk. Ouch. Peaches said as Doris walks over to her and asked, Are you ok? Yep. I'm good. Peaches replied as she bites her lip to not

say anything bad. After everyone got their sticks in, Peaches and Juilian helps Doris and Pat and Ranisha clean up the lab from the mess as they put the stuff

away as Peaches puts the needles away carefully as Juilian puts the gauze away and the other washed the tables after each use every time. After they got

done for the night, Ranisha and Pat both left for the night as Doris and Peaches and Juilian were almost done cleaning up the lab. After they got done, They

put on their sweaters as the weather is really cold with the snow as Peaches said, Better bundle up now, tempertures are really low at this winter night now.

That and plus it is not safe for every females out there to be alone in the dark and things can happen too. Juilian said as Doris puts her scraf on and her cozy

sweater on too as she added, Yeah. My husband and my 6 year old daughter told me do not walk home alone in the dark and my sons too. We'll walk with

you. It's no problem. Peaches said as Doris smiles at her as she added, Good idea. Thanks Peaches. You know, I'm really glad that we worked together as a

team to get the lab cleaned up and now we can relax for the holidays too. Yep. All right. We should head home now. Come on. Juilian said as he and the girls

set off for home for the night.
