Chapter 5: Meeting the family
On the way home, Doris, Peaches and Juilian were walking home from class for the holiday break as it is cold outside and dark out and they are not alone this
time due to a safety issue at the point. Once they reached Doris' home, her husband Dave comes out and said, Hey Doris. Hey hon. Doris said as she is happy to
see her husband as they kissed. So how was the kids while I was gone? Doris asked as she puts her bag down and Peaches and Juilian both walked inside the
cave as Dave said, You two come on in. Don't be afraid. The kids were good. No issues. Cynthia did all her homework and I have good news about her. She has
got a award from school from her teacher and her teacher said to me about our little Cynthia. She got her award of most likely not to miss any assignments
and homework award. She is very smart that one. Doris said as she smiles at the good news at that. Best of all, No discipline actions or issues from Cynthia,
No problems with her and willing to do the work at all cost no matter how difficult it is too. Dave said as he added, Also, she has no homework for the holiday
break. She gets a break this time. That is awesome sir. Very happy about this. Juilian said. Excuse us for that. I'm Peaches and this is my fiance Juilian. Doris'
and Pat's students. Peaches said as Dave replied, Nice to meet you two. I'm Dave. Dave said as they shook trunk. Soon 16 year old mammoth Anthony came
inside from his shower after playing sports for after school as he smells clean. Doris smells him as she added, mmmmmm. That smells good. Strawberry soap
helps and it keeps me clean and shiny. Uhhh, Mom, Who are those two strangers? Anthony said as Dave replied, Those two are not strangers, Those are your
mothers' students. Peaches and Juilian. Nice to meet you and sorry about that. Anthony said as Peaches added, All good kid. Happens too. We never talk to
strangers at all. Our parents taught us that when we were little too. Julilan said as Anthony added as he walks to the cave, I'm going to hit the hay now.
Night everyone. Night Anthony. Everyone said as 13 year old Nick came inside also as he said, Ok this cave better be on fire because I was taking a shower
after pea brain used the strawberry soap and Alex was waiting for me to come but I slapped him after I came out of the shower because he was rude to me as I was coming out. Dave replied as he rubs
Nick's head, Nick, the cave is not on fire and second there is no hitting your brother and three, what did your mother and I tell about talking like that? Sorry
dad. I'm in really bad mood and I just wanna slap someone. Nick said as Doris slaps her son as she said sternly, Will you stop it? We have my students here.
Oh those are your students? Nick asked. Yep. Peaches said as she added, I'm Peaches and this is Juilian. Nice to meet you both. Nick said as he added, all
right. I'm going to hit the hay too. Nice meeting you two. Night everyone. Night Nick. Everyone said as he went inside the cave. 10 year old Alex came over
with an ice pack as he has it on his forehead as Doris asked, Baby, what happened? Nick smacked me after he came out of the shower because he was rude
to me about the strawberry soap and he did not want to use and he uses the mango soap that we use but I don't mind using all fruit soap to shower in and
I got rude at him and he smacked me really hard on my head and I feel really sore right now. Alex said as he had tears in his eyes as he is really sore from
the hit that Nick gave him. Doris rubs his face as she soothes him, Don't get upset honey. Go lay down and I will have a talk with him tomorrow morning
when he gets up after that. Peaches and Juilian waves at Alex as he added, Nice to meet you two. Night everyone. Then he went to go to sleep for the night.
Soon 6 year old Cynthia skips to her mother as she smiles as she said, Hi Mommy! Doris turns and sees her daughter coming to her as she smiles and said,
Hey sweetie! Then she lifts her daughter up and swings her around and kisses her forehead as Peaches giggles at the moment as she added, I remember my
mom doing that too when I was Cynthia's age too. Dave lifts Cynthia up also as well as he hugs her too and Doris giggles too. How was school today? Doris
asked as Cynthia replied, It was good. I got an award from my teacher today. The most likely not to miss any assignments and homework award. That is
great sweetie! Doris said happily as she holds her daughter in her trunk. Cynthia looks at Peaches and Juilian as she asked, Mommy, Daddy, Who are they?
Those are mommy's students Cynthia. They are not strangers. Dave said as he smiles at them. I'm Peaches and this is Juilian. Peaches said as Cynthia adds,
Nice to meet you two. and that is a pretty name by the way. Peaches blushes as her face got red. We should probably get home now. Peaches said as Juilian
added, Yeah, your dad is gonna have a heart attack if we don't get home soon. See you guys tomorrow. Peaches said as they headed for home and Doris
and Dave said, see you two soon. Doris and Cynthia and Dave went inside as Cynthia went to bed for the night. Doris and Dave went to bed as well to sleep
for the night as Doris said to him, We need to get on Nick about his attitude. It's getting out of hand. He's only a teenager and he's 13. We'll figure it out soon
tomorrow morning. Dave said as he drifted to sleep and so did Doris. Cynthia walks over to her mother as she cuddles with her to keep warm as Doris wake
up to it as she smies at her daughter and puts a blanket on her to keep warm and went back to sleep after that.
