Chapter 28: Movie Magic

We find ourselves on a dark stormy night as a cloaked man approached a mountain when thunder struck causing him to lower his hood revealing a man with gray skin and dark hair.
"It is almost time. Once I have all three relics, no one will be able to stop me, and Marapore will fall! For I am Stalwart Stallion!" He declares pulling out a scepter.
"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" A familiar voice calls out interrupting it.
"Cut!" Zooming out we see this was actually a movie set.
And sitting behind the director we see the Shane Gang watching it.
"Again Rainbow." Sonata groans.
"I'm sorry but at this point in the book the Stalwart Stallion would be known as Mojo." Rainbow said.
"That's not what she meant." Twilight glares.
"What? You think he wants Daring Do fans to call him out for making a mistake like that?" Rainbow asks.
"You mean like what you're doing?" Luke asks.
Looking at them, a man with green hair, tan skin and a beard lets out a sigh. This was Canter Zoom, the director of the movie.
"Let's try one more time. And this time, say "Mojo" instead of "Stalwart Stallion", 'kay? And action!" Canter said into a megaphone.
After the scene was filmed, Canter was leading the Shane Gang through the movie studio.
"I can't believe we're really here!" Rainbow said excited.
"This place is so cool." Sonata said.
"Thank you so much for letting us come, Mr. Zoom." Twilight said.
"We promise we won't get in the way, again." Sunset said glaring at Rainbow.
"Right Rainbow Dash?" Luke glares as well causing Rainbow to chuckle nervously.
"As a fellow Camp Everfree alum, I was more than happy to afford the kids who helped save it the chance to visit the set of our little film." Canter said.
"Little? This is Daring Do we're talking about! This movie is gonna be huge!" Rainbow declares when a PA comes over.
"Uh, there's a problem in wardrobe. They can't find the costume Daring Do is supposed to wear in the nightclub scene." She said causing Canter to groan.
"If we're ever able to finish it, it will be. If you'll excuse me." Canter said walking away.
Taking out the schedule, Twilight examines it. "According to our visitor schedules, they won't start shooting the next scene for a while, which means we have time to—"
"Get my picture taken with Chestnut Magnifico, the actress playing Daring Do!" Rarity squeals.
"And ask her to sign my petition to bring more bird feeders to Canterlot High." Fluttershy said equally excited confusing everyone.
"Uh am I missing something?" Sonata asks.
"Well, Chestnut Magnifico is an avid supporter of a foundation that helps build homes for animals in need." Fluttershy explains.
"Oh, okay. But I was thinking that we could—" Twilight starts.
"Check out all the sets?" Sunset suggests.
"I'd sure like to check out that volcano." Applejack said.
"Same." Sonata smiles.
"Actually I thought we would—"
"Find the buffet!" Spike interrupts.
"And the cupcake fountain!" Pinkie said picking him up.
"I don't know what that is but I don't think they have one." Luke said as Burpy nods in agreement.
"Of course they do. I read it in my 100 Things You Didn't Know About This Movie Studio: Insider's Tour Guide." Pinkie said taking out a pamphlet.
"Is the number-one thing we didn't know that the guy who founded this studio was an eccentric oddball with a sweet tooth?" Applejack smirks.
Flipping through it, Pinkie smiles. "Yes it is."
"You mind Burpy?" Luke asks.
Chirping Burpy hops off Luke's shoulder and onto Pinkie Pie's.
"I guess we're splitting up." Twilight said as they all nodded leaving only her with Rainbow and Luke. "I don't suppose you two want to—"
"Check out the props that A. K. Yearling designed especially for the movie?" Rainbow interrupts.
"You read my mind." Twilight smiles.
"I'm in." Luke said as she took his hand and they went to check them out.
At Chestnut Magnifico's trailer, Rarity and Fluttershy were by the door.
"Maybe we shouldn't bother her when she's in her trailer." Fluttershy said nervously.
"Darling, please. Actresses love interacting with their fans." Rarity said when the door swings open and hits her in the face. Shaking it off, Rarity looks to it. "Ooh, Miss Magnifico—"
"Ugh! I don't care if I'm under contract! This is a joke, and I want this thing shut down! Do you hear me?!" Chestnut yells into her phone startling them as she storms off.
"Uh perhaps she didn't see us." Rarity said nervously.
At the movie set, Applejack, Sonata and Sunset were checking out the volcano set.
"Hmm. Wonder how long it takes to build something like this?" Applejack asks.
"Several weeks I bet." Sunset said.
"They sure do go all out making it look like the real deal, huh?" Sonata asks when Sunset steps on something.
Looking down she sees it appears to be a candy bar wrapper.
"Though I don't think the rainforest is known for its... Bon Mot peanut butter praline crunch bars." Sunset said.
"Better pocket that, wouldn't want that ruining the set." Applejack suggests as Sunset puts it in her pocket.
"Although those do sound good, maybe we can find some of them around here." Sonata said.
Nearby, Luke, Rainbow and Twilight were in the market set when they spotted three props, a staff, a sword and an arrow.
"Wow! These are the three Altoriosa Relics!" Rainbow said.
"Very well detailed they almost look real." Luke said in awe.
"The staff!" Twilight said.
"The sword!" Rainbow said.
"Don't forget the Arrow of Altoriosa." Turning around they saw a girl with long green hair in pigtails and glasses walk over. "You're from Canterlot High, right?"
"Yeah that's us, who are you?" Luke asks.
"I'm Juniper Montage, Canter the director's niece. What do you think?" She asks.
"They're awesome." Rainbow smiles.
"A. K. Yearling is very hands-on when it comes to the sets and props for the movie." Juniper said.
"Yeah they're very detailed." Luke said.
"Have you met her?" Twilight asks.
"Just once when she came to check out the relics. I did get her to sign a copy of the latest Daring Do book, though." Juniper squeals.
"So what do you do here?" Twilight asks.
"Mostly, I bring my uncle coffee and help get everything ready for shooting. I've been on the set for all the movies he's shot here. Pretty much know every inch of this place like the back of my hand." Juniper brags. "I tried to convince him to cast me as Daring Do, but...he really didn't go for that." Juniper said bitterly.
"Well this is a big movie, and acting is tough." Luke said.
"I guess, hey have you guys seen the set for Caballeron's secret lair?" Juniper asks causing Rainbow to gasp. "They usually lock the door to that set, but I've got keys that open just about every door in this place. Come on. I'll show you." Juniper said taking out a set of keys before leading them away.
Meanwhile, in the hallway, Pinkie, Burpy and Spike were sitting down looking at her map.
"Three lunch buffets, six different kinds of fondue, two rooms with nothing but candy, and still no cupcake fountain!" Pinkie groans when Burpy holds up a Praline Crunch Bar. "Yeah good point Burpy. At least we found those peanut butter praline crunch bars! They weren't in my guidebook, but they sure were delicious." Pinkie smiles eating it.
"I'll say. You think they got any more?" Spike sighs when they heard a groan.
Looking over they saw Canter and Chestnut over by the catering table.
"One more month, Chestnut! That's all we need! I'm doing everything I can to keep us on schedule! But with all the setbacks we've had, I don't think we can do it! If you could just agree to stay on for one more month." Canter begs.
"Unacceptable!" Chestnut said looking for something.
"But please." Canter said.
"Where are my imported peanut butter praline crunch bars?!" Chestnut asks causing Burpy, Pinkie and Spike to gulp.
"Now would probably be a good time to resume the search for that cupcake fountain." Spike whispers.
Nodding Pinkie grabs the dog and slug before slowly sneaking away.
Soon they were all back on the set as they were ready to redo the Volcano scene.
"So Burpy find the Cupcake fountain?" Luke asks as Burpy hops back on his shoulder and shook his head. "Yeah I figured."
"You guys should've seen the relics. They were amazing!" Rainbow said not able to keep it in when Canter shushes her.
"Quiet on the set, please." Canter whispers.
"Sorry. Maybe I'll just go take one more peek at them." Rainbow said before running off to see them.
"And action!" Canter said as the lightning and thunder effects went off when suddenly the top part of the volcano broke and crashed to the ground shocking everyone.
"Cut! Cut! Cut! What is going on around here? We just filmed on this volcano, and it was fine! This could set us back weeks!" Canter panics when Rainbow ran in.
"They're gone! They're all gone!" Rainbow panics.
"What's gone?" Canter asks confused when Juniper ran in.
"The relics!" Juniper said causing them all to gasp.
"I wanted to check them out again up close, and they weren't there!" Rainbow explains.
"This can't be happening! What are we gonna do?!" Canter asks.
"Can't you just make new props?" Sunset asks.
"The missing relics were personally approved by A. K. Yearling. We could have new ones made, but we can't use them until Miss Yearling has given them her official stamp of approval. You think it'd be easy to reach someone who is always holed up in her office writing, but Miss Yearling is a very difficult woman to track down." Canter explains.
"It'll be okay though, right?" Rainbow gulps.
"Chestnut's contract with us is almost up, and with Mount Vehoovius collapsing, and now this, I fear we'll have to stop production altogether." Canter said.
"B-But you have to finish this movie. Think of all the Daring Do fans who'll be so disappointed if you don't." Rainbow said.
"Are you sure there's nothing you can do to—" Before Twilight could finish they heard a crashing noise.
"I'm so sorry. Please excuse me." Canter said as he and Juniper went to deal with it.
"There was trouble with one of the costumes when we first arrived. A set that was fine yesterday just collapsed. And now, the most important props in the movie have been stolen. I don't think these are just coincidences." Twilight realized.
"Me neither, something is fishy." Sonata said.
"All the things that have gone wrong on set have put production on hold. It seems to me like someone is going to a lot of trouble to make sure this movie doesn't get made." Sunset said.
"But who would want to sabotage this movie?" Luke asks when Fluttershy gasps.
"Oh dear you don't think." Fluttershy asks looking to Rarity.
"Oh no, no, no. Certainly not." Rarity said.
"What is it?" Luke asks.
"When Rarity and I followed Chestnut Magnifico to her trailer, we overheard her saying something about shutting down the movie." Fluttershy said.
"Yes, but she said she wanted something shut down. We don't know that she was talking about the movie." Rarity said.
"Maybe she's just really mad that they're always running out of her imported butter praline crunch bars." Pinkie theorizes when Sonata, Sunset and Applejack look at each other before Sunset takes out the wrapper she found.
"Bon Mot butter praline crunch bars?" Sunset asks.
"Those are the ones." Pinkie points.
"We may have tried a few ourselves." Spike said.
"Burpy?" Luke looks to see Burpy rub the back of his head embarrassed.
"We found this on the Mount Vehoovius set right before it collapsed." Sonata said.
"It sure seems like all signs are pointing to Chestnut Magnifico as the one causing all the problems around here." Twilight said.
"I don't know who's behind this or what's going on, but the first thing we need to do is find those relics." Rainbow said.
"Since we just saw them before filming that means they have to be nearby." Luke said.
"If Chestnut Magnifico is behind this they should still be on set." Twilight adds.
"Chestnut Magnifico is an acclaimed actress! She'd never do something so dramatic!" Rarity said.
"An actress? Dramatic? Never." Sunset smirks causing Luke to chuckle.
"Well, she might do something like this if she was trying to get out of working on a movie she didn't want to do." Applejack said.
"Why don't Fluttershy, Sonata, Pinkie, Spike, and I follow Chestnut Magnifico and see if we can find anything out?" Sunset suggests.
"And we'll keep a lookout for the relics." Luke said as Twilight, Rarity, Applejack and Rainbow stayed with him.
"Where do we even start? It's not like there's some mysterious, thieving, cloaked figure we can chase after and say, Hey, tell us where you're keeping the relics." Applejack said sarcastically when almost on cue a mysterious cloaked figure tried to sneak by.
"You mean like that one?" Rarity points.
Looking over, the cloaked figure gasps before making a run for it.
"Stop right there!" Rainbow touches her geode and uses her super-speed to race after the thief forcing everyone to try and follow after her.
However as Rainbow Dash super speeds through the sets, the cloaked thief outmaneuvers her causing Rainbow Dash to lose sight of her.
Panting heavily, Luke, Rarity, Applejack and Twilight finally catch up with her.
"Thanks for stopping." Luke said as Rainbow groans.
"I can't believe I lost them! My geode gives me super speed, but I guess being awesomely fast doesn't help when the person you're chasing knows their way around better than you do." Rainbow said when Sunset, Sonata, Spike, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie come from another hallway.
"Hey guys." Sunset said noticing them.
"Any luck finding Chestnut?" Applejack asks.
"We couldn't find her either." Sunset said.
"But we did find the cupcake fountain!" Pinkie cheers holding a cupcake out.
"Then we got lost and somehow ended up here. What have you guys been doing?" Sonata asks.
"We spotted this super-suspicious cloaked figure, but they got away." Rainbow said.
"There you are." Turning around they saw a PA running over. "Where are your costumes? We got to hurry! I'm gonna be so fired if you aren't ready! The director wants to shoot in three minutes!"
Grabbing them the PA helps the girls, Luke and Spike into costumes. When they came out on the set, Twilight was dressed as the Masked Matterhorn, Rarity as Radiance, Rainbow Dash as Zapp, Applejack as Mistress Mare-velous, Pinkie Pie as Fili-Second, Fluttershy as Saddle Rager, Spike as Hum Drum, Sunset as Mane-iac, Sonata was dressed in a black leather sleeveless suit with a denim jacket over it and a black mask, and Luke came out wearing a black and orange leather robin hood like outfit with a hood over his head and a blue mask over his eyes, and a bow and arrow strapped to his back.
"Uh, I think there's been some kind of mistake." Applejack said when the director noticed them.
"Wait a minute, who are they?" He asks.
"They're Slug Slinger, Dark Canary and the Power Ponies." The PA said but the director glared at him. "I'm fired, aren't I?"
"So fired." The director said.
Looking around Burpy sees the cloaked figure just behind the set and chatters loudly getting Luke's attention.
"Huh?" Luke looks over and gasps. "Over there!"
Racing after the cloaked figure in their hero costumes all of them chased her through multiple sets.
By the time they were running through their fourth set all but Luke and Rainbow Dash were so exhausted.
"Slow down." Pinkie pants bringing up the rear.
"Your hero has super speed, shouldn't you be at the front?" Sonata pants.
"You try running in spandex." Pinkie pants.
"Try running with a bow and arrow strapped to your back." Luke said kicking the door open only to see it was a city set but with what looked like tons of chocolate pudding all over it.
"What is this place?" Sonata asks as they all came to a stop to catch their breath.
"And where did she go?" Rainbow asks.
"She must be around here somewhere. Wherever here is." Twilight said as Pinkie let out a gasp.
"Are you kidding?! This is the set of Stormy with a Side of Pudding!" Pinkie said excited.
"Stormy with a side of what now?" Applejack asks.
"It's only my all-time favorite movie!" Pinkie declares causing everyone to pause not sure what they meant.
"Wait…yeah I remember this movie, the guy with the crazy invention that made giant food." Luke recalls.
"Yes! Thank you Luke! You're the only one who would. I've tried to get you all to watch it, like, a kazillion-billion times!" Pinkie said before walking to the wall. "I've heard they use real pudding." Taking some off Pinkie licks it. "Ooh they do." She smiles.
"Ugh! We're running out of time! We're supposed to be hunting down the missing relics and catching the bad guy, not eating pudding!" Rainbow groans frustrated.
Little did they know the thief was hiding right behind them.
"We're trying Rainbow." Luke said.
"Maybe we should head back to the Daring Do set, we might have missed something." Twilight said when a net was thrown down on everyone but Rainbow.
Turning around Rainbow sees the cloaked figure run out.
"Don't worry! I got this! Using her geode Rainbow ends up running over some pudding as she chases after the thief.
In the back area, Rainbow enters an empty set room.
"I saw you come in here. Where are you?" rainbow asks when the figure runs into the back room. Gulping Rainbow looks around. "Of all the times I chose to leave Racer at home."
Entering the room, Rainbow looks to see it's filled with props.
"Whoa." Rainbow said when she notices something in the locker in the back. Walking to it she sees a pretty dress inside it. "Hey, this is just like the outfit Daring Do wears in the nightclub scene. What's it doing in here?"
Using this chance the cloaked figure snuck out of the room and shut the door.
Gasping Rainbow tries to open it but it was locked.
"Hello? Anybody out there?" Rainbow calls out before getting an idea. "No problem I'll just call my friends to come get me…oh wait I can't because Security took our phones when we got here." Rainbow groans. "Help! I'm trapped in here!"
Back at the set, Luke manages to wiggle an opening through the holes. "Okay Burpy get us out of here." Using his bow, Luke fires Burpy allowing him to burn the net before transforming back.
"Nice shooting Slug Slinger." Applejack smirks.
"You know this isn't half bad. If I ever don't have my blasters having this around might not be a bad idea." Luke said looking at his bow.
"We have to find Rainbow Dash." Sonata said.
"I don't see how. She moves so fast, she could be anywhere on the lot by now. Why she felt it necessary to wear the geode that gives her super-speed to a movie set, I'll never know." Rarity said.
"I wish I brought mine. One touch and I'd be able to see Chestnut's memories and get to the bottom of this whole thing." Sunset said.
"A few slugs would have been nice to have as well." Fluttershy said.
"I know how to find her. Follow the pudding!" Pinkie points to the footprints.
"Follow me." Spike said leading them.
"Pinkie you're a genius." Luke said giving her a kiss on the lips.
"Aww I know." Pinkie giggles loving this.
"Come on, this way!" Sunset said as everyone ran out.
Luke and Pinkie were about to follow when Pinkie grabs a bucket of pudding and puts it in her hair.
"Hey for the road." Pinkie shrugs before they followed after.
Following the trail, it came to an end right in the empty set.
"There's no more pudding. Which means she must be here somewhere." Pinkie said as they looked around for her.
"Hello? Is anyone here?" Twilight calls out.
"Rainbow Dash? You around?" Sonata calls out when they heard a banging on the door.
"Help! Somebody! I'm trapped in here!" Rainbow's muffled voice calls out.
"Hello? Rainbow Dash? Are you in there?" Fluttershy asks walking to the door.
"Yes! Help! I'm locked in!" Rainbow calls out.
"Hang on Dashie, we're here." Fluttershy said pulling on the handles but it wouldn't budge.
Chirping Burpy looks to Luke and then to the bow.
"No I'm pretty sure if we melt their door we'll have to pay for it." Luke said.
"Hang on, let me try." Twilight touches her geode and uses her magic to unlock the door.
"Boy am I happy to see you guys." Rainbow smiles falling out.
"Did you just make that lock unlock itself?" Luke asks impressed causing Twilight to blush.
"Maybe we should all start wearing our geodes and bring our slugs around. Never know when our new magic might come in handy." Applejack said.
"How did you find me? I gave up banging on the door five minutes ago." Rainbow asks.
"Pudding never lies." Pinkie said eating some.
"Hey, is that the costume that went missing when we first got here?" Sunset asks noticing Rainbow holding it.
"Yeah. But I didn't see the person who locked me in, and there's still no sign of the relics." Rainbow said.
" Huh. I say we head back to the scene of the crime. Maybe there's something there that could lead us to the relics." Applejack suggests when Twilight realized something.
"Or…we could let the culprit lead us to it." Twilight said.
"How? I just told you I didn't see who locked me in here." Rainbow reminds.
"She means she has an idea who it is." Luke said.
"But we're gonna need Canter Zoom's help to catch her." Twilight said.
Returning the hero costumes, all of them returned to the Daring Do set to bring Canter the dress they found.
"You found this in a supply closet?" Canter asks surprised.
"We didn't find the relics. But we don't think the thief has had a chance to take them off the lot yet. We wanted your permission to search the Tricorners Village set from top to bottom. Maybe we'll find a clue that would lead us to where they're hidden." Twilight requests.
"Of course. Chestnut, I need you to get into hair and makeup. As soon as we get the relics, we're gonna start shooting again." Canter said.
"Hmm we'll see." Chestnut said as a nervous look appeared on Juniper's face.
"Juniper, can you do a smoothie run? I'm sure all this sleuthing is gonna make everyone thirsty." Canter asks.
"Absolutely." Juniper said very eager.
In another part of the set, the cloaked figure snuck over to a box and opened it to reveal the missing relics, but when she pulled them out her hood came off revealing her to be Juniper.
"I told you it wasn't Chestnut." Turning around Juniper sees the Rainbooms coming out of hiding and glaring at her.
"Look! I found the missing relics!" Juniper said trying to get out of this.
"Because you're the one who stole them." Luke said as Burpy growls at her.
"She, she wouldn't." Canter said not believing this.
"She would. And she did. What she didn't expect was for Rainbow Dash to come to the Tricorners set before she was able to sneak them off to a safer hiding place. So, she was forced to hide them in the first place she could find, but she knew she couldn't leave them there. So, the first chance she got, she tried to sneak them away. Unfortunately for her, we spotted her. We tried following her but Juniper knows "every inch of this place like the back of her hand" and was able to trap us and lose Rainbow Dash. When Rainbow Dash managed to figure out where she'd run off to, she locked her in a closet with a set of keys that gives her access to "just about every door in this place" which gave her the time she needed to hide the relics here." Twilight explains.
"When did you figure out it was her?" Sonata asks interested.
"I started to piece things together when I unlocked the door to get you out of the supply closet. But I knew Juniper would never admit she was the one who had taken the relics." Twilight said.
"Unless, of course, she was caught in the act of trying to move them again." Sunset realized.
"Which is why I told you to send her on that smoothie run. So she'd think she had the opportunity to get the relics off the lot where we'd never find them." Twilight said looking to Canter.
"But instead of searching the Tricorners set, you all were secretly following me here." Juniper realized.
"Bingo." Luke nods.
"Why would you do this?" Canter asks.
"I'm sorry! Okay? I'm sorry. I just can't stand Chestnut! She's always eating all the peanut butter praline crunch bars, which are the only candy bars I like." Juniper said as Pinkie was about to pull one out of her hair to eat but Burpy leaps up and pushes it back in shaking his head.
"That's hardly a reason to—"
"And I was mad at you for casting her as Daring Do! I mean, I have told you over and over again how badly I wanted to play Daring Do, and you just ignored me!" Juniper interrupts her uncle.
"But, Juniper, you're too young! You don't have any experience." Canter explains.
"I know! But I thought if enough things went wrong, Chestnut would maybe back out of the movie and then... you would give me a chance." Juniper admits.
"Not only did you jeopardize the production, endanger the safety of the actors and the film crew, but you also lied to me and took advantage of my trust!" Canter snaps.
"I know. A-And I'm sorry. I never meant to hurt anyone, and I was going to return all the props, just as soon as Chestnut quit. I hope you can forgive me." Juniper frowns causing him to sigh.
"You're my niece, Juniper, so, of course, I can forgive you, but I'm sorry to say you're no longer welcome on the set, and it'll be a long time before I consider allowing you back here. I'll need your keys." Canter said as Juniper handed him her keys before she was escorted out.
Turning around Juniper glares at the Rainbooms just as she was about to leave when Chestnut walks in.
"Canter, there you are. So sorry I'm not in makeup, but I've just gotten a call from my agent. I no longer have to work on that ridiculous documentary about nests next month. I swear, when they approached me, I thought they wanted to do a documentary about my organization for homeless animals, not on various "nests" around the world. Completely misleading! But no matter. That's all behind us." Chestnut explains.
"Does that mean?" Canter asks hopeful.
"No more scheduling conflict. I can extend my contract and continue filming Daring Do." Chestnut said when she noticed the props. "Hey are those the missing relics?"
"Yes and I don't think we'll have to worry about them disappearing again. And it's all thanks to our visitors from Canterlot High. First you save Camp Everfree, now the Daring Do movie. Y'all are certainly on a roll." Canter smiles.
"It's what we do." Luke chuckles.
"Uh, speaking of roles... Don't suppose you've got any extra parts my friends and I could play? You know, heh, as a reward for saving the day?" Rainbow asks.
"I think we can work something out." Canter smiles causing them all to grin.
On the set, Chestnut was dressed as Daring Do and was running through the marketplace with the sword of Altrosia on her hip.
At one stand, Rarity was selling fabrics to Sunset who was examining when Chestnut ran past Applejack who was carrying a basket of apples.
In the main square, Pinkie Pie and Spike were juggling balls as some citizens were enjoying the show.
Twilight was carrying a stack of books when Chestnut catches one that was about to fall and puts it back.
At a table, Luke was playing cards with some thugs with Burpy on his shoulder as Chestnut ran past him Luke placed a winning hand down causing the thugs to groan in agony while he and Burpy grin taking all their money.
As Sonata and Fluttershy were walking together Daring Do pushes them out of the was as Stalwart Stallion readied the staff causing everyone to scream.
"You will give me the Sword of Altoriosa!" Stalwart orders as his staff glowed red.
"I don't think so, Stalwart!" Chestnut said
"Have it your way!" Stalwart said before doing a chant. "Give up, Daring Do! The Sword shall be mine!" Using the staff the sword was yanked off her and into the air.
Hearing a whistle, Chestnut looks to see Rainbow Dash toss her a whip allowing Daring Do to whack the scepter out of his hands stopping the spell.
"This is so—" Before Rainbow could finish Luke yanks her into a kiss on the lips stopping her from saying anything else that could ruin the take.
Looking over, Luke sees Canter mouth "Thank you" to him allowing them to finish the movie.
