Chapter 29: Mirror Magic
Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter. The final one in the 3 part magic series. Sorry about the wait I ended up coming up with some crazy new ideas. I think you'll be surprised by what I have. Also to those who are asking if I'll be using characters from the MLP New Generation movie that was released today you'll have to wait on those, not sure just yet. Please Review and Enjoy.
At the mall, Juniper Montage was wearing a movie theater uniform when a video came on revealing the Rainbooms and Crystal Prep team's music video.
"Them again." Juniper growls trying to walk away but everywhere she went she saw them on TV. "First, they get me kicked off the Daring Do set. Now..." Juniper accidentally bumps into the movie poster and sees the Rainbooms on it causing her to growl annoyed. "They're everywhere! I bet they'll be at the premiere tonight. I bet I'll be the lucky one ushering them to their seats."
Suddenly her walkie-talkie turns on. "Juniper, where are you? We need you back at the popcorn popper stat."
Rolling her eyes, Juniper picks it up and imitated static. "What was that boss…can't hear you…losing you." She said before walking away to a sunglass booth. "If they hadn't shown up I would have been Daring Do. Tonight would have been about me. I would have been a star!" Grabbing some star shaped shades she put them on but the kiosk guy just shook his head.
Grabbing the mirror she looks at herself and cringed. "You're right, these are a bit much."
Looking around for another pair no one noticed some Equestrian Magic creep in and go into the mirror causing it to change into a crystal-like mirror.
When Juniper picks it up, the mirror makes her reflection look like a beautiful celebrity causing her to drop it startled. "What was that?" Slowly bending down she touched the glass and some magic emitted from it surprising her.
Bending down to pick it up, Juniper saw her celebrity reflection again and smiles.
"Keep the change. Something tells me this thing's worth it." Juniper said paying the man and walking away with the mirror.
In another part of the mall, Sunset was writing in her journal to Twilight.
Dear Princess Twilight, tonight's the night of the big movie premiere. All my friends are really excited, and I should be, too. Except I can't seem to keep my mind on anything other than our new powers, and the rogue magic that's loose in this world, and how scary but exhilarating it all is. How does it work? How can we be prepared for it? When will it show up again? Well, you see the problem. Not to mention I'm now sharing my boyfriend with all my friends. Luke is an amazing guy and I really love him but part of me worries when dangers from his world will show up again or worse if another girl falls head over heels for him. Oh why does he have to be so loveable? With the weight of all Equestria on your shoulders, you must have some advice on how to…
However Sunset couldn't finish because she ran out of room to write. "Shoot!" Sunset said annoyed.
Chirping Torch pops his head out.
"Sorry Torch didn't mean to wake you." Sunset said when Pinkie walked over.
"What's the matter, Sunset Shimmer?" Pinkie asks.
"Oh, I just ran out of pages in my journal. That's all." Sunset said.
"Chillax SunShim." Rainbow said as she, Luke, Rarity, Sonata, Applejack, Twilight and Fluttershy joined them.
"Who's SunShim?" Fluttershy asks.
"That's Sunset Shimmer's new movie star name. Just made it up." Rainbow said sipping her drink. "When we become famous should we go by Rainbooms or Shane Gang?"
"For sweet apples' sake, we only have bit parts in this flick. We're not movie stars." Applejack said.
"Yet, darling yet." Rarity said.
"I don't know if I'm cut out for movie life. I already have a lot on my plate." Luke said.
"Really? I bet we could make an awesome soundtrack to movies." Sonata said.
"Ooh I like you think Sonata." Rainbow said as they high five.
"There's more bothering you than just journal pages, isn't there, Sunset?" Twilight asks.
"Well." Sunset said uncomfortably.
"Come on! Share your troubles. It might help soothe your stressed nerves." Pinkie said.
"Uh, I don't wanna take any of the fun out of our big night—"
"I said spill it SunShim!" Pinkie said startling everyone.
"Pinkie calm down. You're scaring the slugs." Luke said.
"Okay, okay. It's just that things have been calm around here, magic-wise and slug-wise." Sunset said.
"And that's bad how, precisely?" Rarity asks confused.
"Yeah it's nice getting a break from all that." Sonata said.
"It is nice. It's just that instead of enjoying the fact that things are calm, I'm constantly thinking about things going wrong, even when they aren't. Not to mention there's our love life." Sunset said when Luke walks up to her.
"Take it easy you. You worry too much." Luke said wrapping his arms around. "You don't need to focus on stuff that hasn't happened yet. Just focus on right here, right now."
"You mean like this?" Sunset smiles leaning into the hug.
"Exactly." Luke said when Sunset's journal glowed.
"Look! Twilight's writing you back! Hey, everybody, Sunset's getting an Equestritext!" Pinkie said grabbing the journal.
Letting go, Sunset walks over and takes the journal.
"What's it say?" Fluttershy asks.
"Princess Twilight wants me to come to... Equestria." Sunset said surprising everyone.
"Whoa, didn't see that coming." Applejack said.
At the movie theater, Juniper was looking at her celebrity self in the mirror.
"It's like this mirror is the only one around here who gets me." Juniper sighs when her boss cleared his throat getting her attention.
"Popcorn spill at the condiment counter." He said.
"Does this look like someone who cleans popcorn spills?" Juniper asks showing him the mirror but all he saw was his reflection.
"No. It looks like someone about to fire somebody." He said handing her a broom and dustpan.
"Ugh!" Groaning Juniper walks over to the spill. "This is the worst. Hey, I know what will perk me up! A little Mirror Me time." Taking out the mirror she looked at it and saw her celebrity self signing autographs. "That's more like it. I wish this popcorn would just clean itself up so I could just stare at you all day." Juniper sighs when her mirror began to glow and sucked up all the popcorn.
"Wow? Done already? I'm shocked." The Boss said walking by.
"You and me both." Juniper said nervously.
At CHS, Sunset made her way towards the portal.
"Man been a while since I stepped through this thing. Maybe I should have asked Luke to come." Sunset said when Torch popped out of her pocket and chattered saying she still had him. "Thanks little buddy, but I don't think I'll be able to use my blaster in Equestria." Sunset holds up her hand. "Ponies don't have fingers."
Stepping through it Sunset and Torch were engulfed by the portal and sucked in.
When they came out the other side, Sunset was thrown into a pile of books in her unicorn form.
Groaning Sunset opens her eyes to see a purple pony looking down at her.
"Princess Twilight? Is that you?" Sunset asks.
"Nope." Coming into view it was a purple unicorn with purple and a green highlight. "Starlight Glimmer."
"Oh." Sunset said trying to stand up on her back hooves but wobbled creeping Starlight out before going down on all fours. "Whoa. That feels a little weird after all this time. Starlight Glimmer. You're Twilight's student, right?"
"Yep she wanted me to give you this." Using her magic, Starlight brought Sunset a new journal.
Sunset tried to pick it up but she was finding it quite hard to pick it up with no fingers.
Clearing her throat, Starlight gestures to her horn causing Sunset to smile remembering she could do that.
Using her magic she put the journal in her bag.
"Wait where's Torch?" Sunset said looking around.
"Torch?" Starlight said when the little slug popped his head out from under a few books startling her. "What is that?!"
"Torch." Sunset smiles seeing he was still his normal self.
Looking at her Torch chirps startled. "Hey buddy, don't worry it's just me." Sunset said holding out a hoove.
Pausing Torch looks at her smiling face and saw it was Sunset. Smiling he chirps and hops up onto her back.
"Hmm I guess Slug don't need to undergo changes from the portal. Wait until I tell Luke this." Sunset said.
"Wait, that thing is yours?" Starlight said surprised.
"Yeah, Starlight meet Torch." Sunset said holding him out.
Smiling Torch waved at her.
"Hey uh sorry about that. Never seen something like you before." Starlight said.
"That's because this little fella comes from a very special place. Twilight knows about it, maybe she can help me explain." Sunset said looking around for her.
"Uh sorry but she's not here. She wanted to give it to you herself, but then she and her friends were called away to solve a friendship problem. That happens a lot around here." Starlight frowns.
"That must be stressful, huh? Never knowing when you might be called on to save the day. Dropping everything at a moment's notice. How does she do it?" Sunset asks.
"Sorry. She just told me to give you the journal." Starlight said.
"So, are you sure she won't be back anytime soon?" Sunset asks.
"Pretty sure." Starlight said.
"Well…then I guess we'll be going now." Sunset said as she and Torch headed towards the portal.
"What's it like back there?" Starlight asks curious.
"It's pretty different. And not so different at the same time. It's kinda hard to explain." Sunset said.
"Guess you kinda have to go there to really get it, huh? I, uh, don't suppose…" Starlight hints.
"You really think Princess Twilight would be okay with that?" Sunset asks.
"I don't know for sure she wouldn't be okay with it." Starlight said.
"That's not a particularly compelling argument." Sunset said.
"She wants me to learn as much as I can about friendship. And I'm not learning a whole lot just hanging out here in her castle." Starlight said.
Nudging her, Torch shrugs saying why not.
"Well, I haven't ever seen you in that world. So chances are you aren't gonna run into yourself." Sunset said.
"Is something you don't hear every day." Starlight said a little creeped out.
"So, just lay low. Don't draw too much attention to yourself." Sunset said.
"You'll barely even notice I'm there." Starlight scoffs.
"Introducing you to Luke and my friends could be a nice distraction." Sunset adds.
"But you'll also totally notice I'm there, and it will keep your mind off of other things that might be bothering you. So? What do you think? Can I go back with you?" Starlight asks excited.
Smiling Sunset and Torch nod.
Leading her through the portal Sunset walks out first in her human form.
"Oh man this is much better." Sunset stretched allowing Torch to hop on her shoulder.
Chirping Torch smiles saying he liked this form better.
"Ugh what happened?" Turning around Sunset saw Starlight as a human with a pink beanie on the side of her head, a black vest over a light green shirt and torn black jeans.
"It's all pretty weird at first, but try to roll with it." Sunset said helping her up.
"What are these?" Starlight asks looking at her hands.
"Hands." Sunset said.
"What happened to the rest of my hooves?" Starlight asks.
"Those are feet. Remember the whole thing where I said you need to lay low? Now would be a good time to play it cool." Sunset reminds.
"Oh. Right. Heh. Play it cool. "Starlight said before she got down on all fours and tried walking like a pony.
Running over, Sunset helps her up.
"You did say I'd make a good distraction." Starlight points out.
At the movie theater, Luke stepped away from the girls.
"You go on in and get some snacks. Burpy and I are gonna make a quick call to home." Luke said.
"Don't take too long." Twilight said as they walked in.
At the concessions, Juniper decided to test her mirror again and dropped some popcorn.
"Mirror, pick up this popcorn!" Juniper orders but nothing happened. "Mirror, I command thee, pick upeth this poppage of corn!" But again nothing happened. "Ugh. Why won't this work?"
"Like…we were gonna eat some of that." Some customers said looking at her weirdly.
"Mirror, make these annoying people go away." Juniper said as the two just walked away annoyed. "Well that kinda worked."
"Juniper Montage?!" Pinkie said startling her into dropping more popcorn.
"What in the blazes are you doin' here?" Applejack gasps as they turned to face her.
"Were you invited to the Daring Do premiere? Ooh, that's exciting! No, crazy! No, concerning! No! Just no! No offense." Pinkie said.
"I wasn't invited to the premiere. My uncle Canter Zoom felt bad for firing me, so he pulled some strings and got me this job." Juniper explains.
"You work here?" Fluttershy asks.
"As little as possible." Juniper said wiping popcorn off the counter.
"You know if you hadn't tried to sabotage the movie, you could be celebrating with us." Rainbow said making her angry.
Storming out from the counter, she faces them. "This should be my night! I would have found a way to be in the film if you all had stayed out of it! I would have been Daring Do! Everyone would've loved me! See?" Juniper holds out the mirror causing the girls and slugs to look at her confused.
"Can't you see what's right under your noses? Ugh! I wish you'd all just go away and leave me alone!" Juniper snaps as a bright light engulfs the girls causing Voltz, Dazzle, Racer, Shield, Suds, Knuckles and Pieper to fall out and see their owners get sucked into the mirror.
Gasping the 7 slugs look to see a small trail of magic made its way to Juniper's eyes causing them to glow green.
"Hmm. Looks like I may be finally getting the hang of this." Juniper grins.
Quickly hopping away before she saw them the slugs see Juniper pick up Fluttershy's butterfly pin and put it on.
In a small empty alley, Luke and Burpy got a signal and on screen Eli appeared.
"Hey dad." Luke smiles.
"There's my boy." Eli said as Burpy waves. "And my favorite slug. Hey guys what's up?"
"Just calling to check in, things are a little quiet up here. How are things on your end?" Luke asks.
"Surprisingly the same, we haven't found any new Dark Clan member sightings in a while." Eli said.
"I guess that's good." Luke said.
"By the way we ran into some of your old friends. They're asking about you." Luke said surprising him.
"Oh wow, I haven't gotten to talk to any of them since I left." Luke said.
"They miss you, but don't worry I told them you're working on your secret mission." Eli said.
"Thanks dad. Our movie is premiering soon, I guess I better go grab my seat with the girls." Luke said.
"Have fun, talk again soon." Eli said hanging up.
Chirping Burpy looks at Luke.
"I wonder how they're all doing back home?" Luke asks.
In another part of the mall, Sunset and Starlight were walking together. As Sunset was checking her phone Starlight had a triple scooped ice cream cone.
"Well Luke's line is still busy, but the other 7 are straight to voicemail." Sunset said.
"'m sure they're around. What's the worst that could have happened?" Starlight asks licking one scoop off her cone.
"Magic is on the loose here now, and it does not work the same way it does back in Equestria. Any number of terrible things could have happened. Especially when it mixes with Slugterra power." Sunset groans. "And I spend about 80% of the time thinking about it. My friends are probably fine. I'm overreacting. But maybe not. I can't tell anymore."
Looking at her Starlight had a concerned look.
"This is the problem you wanted to talk to Princess Twilight about, right? Because you can still talk it over with me if you want." Starlight offers as Sunset took out the journal. "Or you could just journal with Princess Twilight about it. Whatever works."
"It's just…I know my friends and I have been given special powers for a reason, and I want to be ready for whatever is gonna be thrown at us. I guess knowing that is making me feel like I could never really relax and let my guard down, so I end up obsessing about it and can't get out of my own head." Sunset said.
"That is a toughie. Guess my advice would be to just trust things will work themselves out in the end. If you spend too much time worrying about the bad things that might happen, you'll miss out on all the good things that are happening." Starlight said dropping another scoop.
"Like how Princess Twilight's student is teaching me a lesson?" Sunset smiles.
"Come on I bet there's something you would really love to do right now." Starlight said.
"Well, I'd really like to spend time with my boyfriend." Sunset admits.
"Ooh a boy, what's he like? Is he cute?" Starlight asks interested.
"Oh yeah, but our relationship is a little different than most. I kinda have to share him with others and I worry another girl will swoop in and make things hard." Sunset said.
"Does he care about you?" Starlight asks.
"Yeah, quite a bit." Sunset nods.
"Then what's the problem? As long as he's still in love with you does it matter if he gives it to someone else as well?" Starlight asks.
"You are good." Sunset said wrapping an arm around her. "Come on let's head to the movie."
In a large blank white room, the 7 girls looked around in shock and confusion.
"Uh…Any clue yet where we are or what just happened? Anyone?" Rarity asks.
"I uh…I got nothing." Sonata said looking around. "Hello!" Sonata yells at the top of her lungs but all they heard was an echo.
"Pinkie Pie's on the case!" Feeling around she tried to find a wall but everywhere she ran she just ended up back with her friends. "Nope, no wall over here. Come out, come out, walls, wherever you are! I don't get this place!"
Suddenly they saw a large circle floating above them that looked like Juniper's mirror.
"Somehow, someway, that dang Juniper sucked us all inside of that mirror of hers." Applejack said.
"Or some kind of limbo behind it." Twilight said.
"I think I might be freaking out a little bit." Fluttershy said.
"That's freaking out?" Rainbow asks raising an eyebrow.
"It's sort of a deep-down-inside freakout." Fluttershy said.
"On the upside, there's popcorn in here!" Pinkie said holding some up. "Hmm sticky."
"How could this happen on the evening of my very first movie premiere? Of all the nights! Curse you, cruel fate!" Rarity declares.
"Not our number one problem right now Rarity." Rainbow points out.
"Mmm, true. But perhaps we can agree it's in the top five." Rarity points out.
"If we had our slugs, I bet we could blast our way out." Sonata said.
"Wait where are our slugs?" Rainbow asks as they felt around.
"They must not have gotten sucked in." Twilight said.
"Even so, how do we get out?" Sonata asks when the circle glowed and something shot out.
Yelping all of them braced themselves as small brown objects pelted them.
"Oh my heavens! What's that?" Rarity asks making a small diamond shield to protect her.
Grabbing one, Rainbow examined it. "Chocolate-covered almonds?" She said confused.
Using her magic Twilight stopped them all in midair.
"Dibs!" Pinkie yells as she started eating the candy like Pac-Man.
Outside the mirror, the 7 slugs spotted Sunset and Starlight enter the room.
Quickly hopping over the 7 slugs chattered getting their attention.
"Whoa, there's more of them." Starlight said surprised.
"What are you guys doing?" Sunset asks bending down. "Where is everyone?"
Pointing the concessions, Sunset gasps seeing Juniper.
Grabbing Starlight and the slugs, they ran behind a crane game.
"It's Juniper Montage." Sunset said.
"No... who's that?" Starlight asks.
"She's trouble." Sunset said when Torch points to the butterfly. "Huh? That's Flutterhy's." Taking Torch off, Sunset handed Starlight the slugs and bag. "Hold these."
As Juniper was looking at herself in the mirror she saw Sunset walking over.
"Sunset Shimmer. I was wondering if you'd show up. Where's that boy who hangs out with you?" Juniper asks.
"I'm, uh, looking for my friends. I don't suppose you've seen them." Sunset asks touching her geode causing Juniper to giggle mischievously. "Where are they?"
"I'll never tell." Juniper said.
"You don't have to." Sunset touches Juniper's arm and her eyes glowed seeing her memories.
The first was when her Uncle got her the job.
"You're lucky I offered to get you this job after the stunt you pulled on my set!" Canter Zoom said.
"I just wanted to be Daring Do. I just wanted people to like me." Juniper frowns.
And then the next memory showed Juniper sucking everyone into the mirror. Gasping Sunset lets go.
"What?" Juniper asks confused.
"I know you want people to like you. But trust me, the magic in that mirror is only gonna make things worse for you." Sunset said.
"You're just saying that because you want the mirror for yourself." Juniper said protecting it.
"What I want is my friends back. Please, Juniper. You wished them into that mirror. Maybe there's a way you can wish them out." Sunset said.
"Or maybe…I wish you'd join them!" Juniper said zapping Sunset and sucking her into the mirror.
"Sunset!" Starlight gasps when the slugs covered her mouth and she hid before Juniper spotted her.
In the mirror, Sunset flew in and crashed nearby.
"Sunset Shimmer!" Twilight gasps.
"Hooray! We're all together!" Pinkie cheers.
"But wait. If we're all together, then nobody out there knows where we are." Twilight said.
Looking down Fluttershy saw her geode was glowing. "Uh girls."
"Luke isn't here so he knows." Sonata said.
"Starlight Glimmer does too." Sunset said.
"Uhm girls." Fluttershy said again.
"You mean Twilight's student back in Equestria?" Rarity said ignoring her.
"How would she know where….oh." Pinkie smirks.
"You didn't…she isn't." Twilight panics.
"I kinda told her she could come back here with me." Sunset admits.
"Sneaky move Sunset." Sonata smirks.
"Uhm I hate to interrupt…" Fluttershy walks over.
"Whoa check out our geodes." Rarinbow said as they looked to see they were glowing.
"That's what I was trying to say." Fluttershy sighs.
"Something's changed. This wasn't happening before." Twilight said.
"Maybe it's because with the 8 of us in here now." Sunset said.
"Is this a good thing or a bad thing?" Applejack asks when all 8 geodes fired a beam causing the circle to glow brightly.
"I'm gonna go with a bad thing." Rarity panics.
On the other side, the magic the mirror stole started to flow through Juniper causing her to grow in size and her outfit changed to a fancy dress to mimic her celebrity self.
Dropping their jaws in shock, Starlight and the slugs quickly hid to avoid her.
"Now everyone will recognize me as the real star." Juniper grins walking out.
Just outside, Luke and Burpy were making their way over ot the theater when they heard screaming.
Following the noise, Luke and Burpy ran out to see Juniper's new form.
"Whoa what is that?" Luke gasps when Starlight and the slugs ran out behind him.
Chattering the slugs pointed Starlight to him.
"Uh are you Luke?" Starlight calls out getting his attention.
"What in the?" Luke turns to see Starlight running over and his eyes widen in shock.
"Hey you don't know me but I know you. I'm—"
"Starlight?" Luke gasps.
"Wow, good guess." Starlight said surprised.
"How did you get up here? How did you find out about this place? Who else is with you? What's with the outfit?" Luke asks.
"Uh Sunset brought me here, no I came alone and this just kinda appeared on its own." Starlight said.
"Wait Sunset…that means. You're from Equestria." Luke realized.
"Yeah where'd think I was from?" Starlight asks confused.
"Uh not important right now. What's going on?" Luke asks.
"Long story short, our friends are in trouble, and we need to get that mirror away from her." Starlight points.
"Got it." Luke nods as they tried sneaking up behind her.
As Juniper walked around thanks to the mirror's magic it made it look like everyone was treating her like a star but really everyone was afraid of her.
Blowing a kiss to someone on the upper level, Luke ran in and tried to grab the mirror.
"You!" Juniper growls trying to yank it free.
"Burpy!" Luke yells as Burpy and Torch leaped onto Juniper's arm.
Growling both slugs lit up in flames burning her.
Screaming in pain Juniper lets go making the mirror hit the ground causing it to crack.
Turning to it, Juniper tried to grab the mirror when the other slugs leaped in and grabbed onto her face allowing Starlight to grab it.
Inside it, everything around the girls was cracking.
"The mirror is breaking!" Twilight said as they all huddled together.
"Wait if the mirror breaks while we're still inside it what happens to us?!" Sonata asks causing all the girls to panic.
"If Luke and Starlight don't find a way to get us out of here soon, I don't know what's gonna happen!" Twilight said.
"I hope they know what they're doing." Sunset gulps in fear.
Outside the mirror, Luke and Starlight were hiding as Juniper was after them.
"You have any idea how to get them out?" Luke asks.
"Not a clue." Starlight cringed when Juniper rips the plant they were hiding behind away.
"Give that back!" She yells.
"Juniper! I don't what's going on but whatever this mirror is doing is not worth it!" Luke said.
"This mirror is nothing but trouble. You have to realize that." Starlight agrees.
"What I realize is that you two are just like those other girls! I wish you'd join them!" Juniper snaps.
However nothing happened with the mirror.
Seeing this chance, Luke grabbed Starlight and ran.
"Looks like she can only make wishes when she's holding the mirror." Starlight said.
"All the more reason to not let her have it!" Luke said when the slugs chirped loudly.
Turning around they saw Juniper gaining on them.
"Luke catch!" Starlight threw to him.
Leaping up Luke caught the mirror but when he did Juniper threw a plant at him forcing him to drop down making the mirror hit the ground and crack more.
"Uh I wish everyone trapped inside was free!" Luke said holding the mirror out but nothing happened.
"Looks like you can't use it either." Juniper smirks.
Yelping Luke rolled out of the way to avoid her grab.
Looking over, Luke saw Burpy and all the slugs gesturing for him to throw it.
"Here it comes!" Throwing it, the slugs stacked themselves up and caught the mirror.
Running to Starlight they handed her the mirror.
"Please our friends are trapped in there!" Starlight begs.
Juniper was about to answer when the Dance Magic video played behind her.
"They ruined my one chance at being famous!" Juniper snaps destroying the TVs playing the video.
'She's still angry about the movie?' Luke thought.
As she made her way towards Starlight she leaped into the sunglass hut for safety.
Looking around Luke spotted Dazzle and Racer.
"Guys I need your help." Luke said grabbing them both allowing his geode to glow.
Using Racer's speed Luke sprinted towards Juniper before using Dazzle to make a crystal dome over the roof to protect them.
"Whoa." Starlight said blown away.
"I can't hold her for long. If you have an idea, best do it fast." Luke said as Juniper started to rip the roof off.
"Is fame really what you're after or are you looking for something else?" Starlight asks.
"Like what?!" Juniper asks.
"Like…a friend?" Starlight asks hopeful.
"Who would be friends with me?" Juniper asks putting the roof down.
"I would." Starlight said.
"Why?" Juniper asks.
"Because I understand you, Juniper. You think getting revenge is going to make you feel better, but it's not! Please, don't make a mistake that you'll end up regretting for the rest of your life." Starlight said making Luke smile.
"I've already made too many mistakes. What I've done is...is...unforgivable." Juniper said.
"Hey." Luke said getting her attention. "Look I know what those girls are like. They're kind, and friendly but more than that they're willing to give you a second chance and so am I. Just set them free."
Looking at him Starlight smiled. 'I'm starting to see why Sunset loves this guy.'
Holding out the mirror, Juniper slowly takes it.
"I-I wish I could make up for my mistakes." Juniper said as the mirror glows turning her back to normal and freeing the girls.
"Luke! Starlight! You did it!" Sunset said hugging them both.
"We make a pretty good team." Starlight said.
"Oh believe me I know." Luke mumbles that last part.
Looking around they saw a crowd muttering about them.
"So much for laying low." Starlight said.
"I'm sure even Princess Twilight would understand." Sunset giggles.
"I-I'm so sorry." Juniper apologizes.
"It's okay, we've all been there." Sunset said.
"Really?" Juniper asks surprised.
"Manipulated an entire town into giving up their talents so they wouldn't think they were special." Starlight said.
"Overpowered by a magic I couldn't control and created a rift between two worlds, almost destroying both of them in the process." Twilight said.
"Tried to put everyone under my spell with my hypnotic singing and feed off their negative energy to make me stronger." Sonata said.
"Turned an entire school into my own personal zombie army in hopes of conquering a distant pony world." Sunset said causing Juniper to look at them in shock.
"Wow, we are really a forgiving group." Pinkie said.
"No kidding." Luke said.
"Hey Luke by the way, how did you know who I was back there?" Starlight asks.
"Wait you knew about Starlight?" Sunset asks.
"Well sorta, not that version. This world's version. That Starlight is down in Slugterra." Luke said surprising them.
"Starlight is from Slugterra?" Rarity said surprised.
"So you two were friends?" Rainbow asks.
"Sort of you. Starlight is my best friend we've know each other since we were kids and uh… You see before I left to come up here and deal with the Dark Clan me and Starlight. We kinda used to uhm…date." Luke admits.
Instantly everyone even Starlight dropped their jaws in shock at this declaration.
"WHAAA?" Pinkie said blown away.
