It's my Life
Disclaimer: I hate these darn things, but I'll deal with them anyway. I don't own Smallville or it's characters.
Author's notes: Okay I'm back, please keep the reviews coming. I may also be re-doing my other Smallville story "Past Mistakes" so please keep an out for that as well.

Chapter 2: She follows the beat of her own drum
"Clark, I thought we've already had this discussion. You treat her with respect, she's probably already confused enough as it is. She doesn't need some else adding that to her stress level" Jonathan warned
"I know all of that, I... Oh I don't know why I'm nervous. I guess I'm just a little nervous because I'm now walking into uncharted territory" Clark said.
"Just remember to treat her the way you would you would like to be treated" Jonathan said.
"Sure dad" Clark said as he ran to school.
Clark could always count on his dad to use some of the oldest clichés in the book to make him feel better.
The reason he left so early was so that he could give her a tour of the school before everyone got there.
He walked inside the school to see a teacher waiting with a student.
The student was a girl with a brown mop of hair. She wore a tie-die t-shirt that said "Washington DC". She had blue denim shorts on. Green hazel eyes looked up at him. She was about 5 feet 6 inches. She had white with a pink stripe sneakers with were tied in a sloppy fashion. There was obvious confusion in her eyes.
The teacher placed his hands on the girl's shoulders. He stepped in front of her.
"Katy this is Clark, Clark this is Katy" he said.
"Hi, Clark" Katy said as she hesitantly held her hand out to shake his hand.
"Hi, Katy" He said as he took the extended hand and shook it.
The teacher looked to Katy.
"I'll be back after homeroom okay?" he said as waited for an answer.
"Okay" She said softly.
