36. Afterward

The day after the last events described in the interviews, the defendant turned himself in to authorities. He does not deny any of his crimes during the war, and willingly gave testimony against himself and others.

In passing judgement, I hope the court will consider my client's pivotal role in bringing down the dark wizard who styled himself as Lord Voldemort. Like all of us, my client is neither good nor evil. However, his actions show that he realized the error of his ways, and sought to right the wrongs he had done at great personal risk.
