"Leo! Get out of there now!" Raph yelled to his brother, whilst he held back a year's worth of tears.
"You're one to talk big bro. Hero moves are totally your style." His brother replies, clenching his broken bones.
Fear and tears streamed like a river down Casey Jones's face. "No please! I don't want to loose you again!"
"Hey. Old me would've been so proud of yo- I'm proud of you."
Leonardo punchedhimself and the crazy antagonist known as the Kraang, back into the prison dimension.
"Argh! Casey... now!"
"What? The Kraang shouted in anger and confusement. Casey was hesitant, but eventually did it.
The Kraang, was no longer. And neither were the good memories that the small army of Leo's friends had built.
" No... no... " Donnie was stuttering, as he felt for tears. For someone like Donnie to cry, it must have been heartbreaking. Raph walked slowly over to Donatello, and comforted him, even though he needed to help himself.
"If... if me and Mikey were able to get to the controls in time... I could've... we...
"It's not your fault Donnie. That's final. We need to mov-" Raphael bursted into loud and huge tears, just as he did when they tried to find the Hamato Nimpo.
Mikey, on the other hand, was trying to use those mystic powers that Casey said he had to open a portal. The droplets of water surrounding his eyes fell hard to the concrete surface.
"Come on..."
"Mikey. Stop. Its over."
"Leo never gave up on us, I'm not giving up on him!"
"Mikey! Come on! I wish he was here too. He's not. Let's go. We need to find Dad."
He didn't leave.
Donnie and Raph then left Mikey on his own, Donatello giving him one final look before running off to find their father. They sprinted everywhere to try and find him, and eventually did. He was surrounded by April and the others in no time, while Casey was sitting down, back lying on a wall.
Splinter cried "My sons! Is he really, gone?"
They all just exchanged looks with each other, before once again bursting into tears.
"Yes." Donnie replied in a hurt voice.
"It was supposed to be me! I was supposed to make sure no one died! I'm the older brother!"
Splinter stood up and limped towards his sons, giving them a hug.
"Raphael, Donatello, you may be the older brothers, but that doesn't mean you havethe burden of watching out for everyone else. That's their and the leaders job. Their was nothing you could've ever done to change the written future."
"Oh but we did sweet father! Laughs Donnie in a psychotic manner." We did! Raph didn't get turned into a Kraang servant in the doomed timeline. We did. We also saved the world from the invasion. But we couldn't save our own brother from his doom? We are the worst fucking brothers, and the worst heroes too!
Donatello, we saved the world, Leonardo would be proud of all of us. My son, don't let someone's misfortune change your life too. He would wan-"
"He's dead! How the hell do you know what he wants? Face it. Everything is shit now. Nothing will ever be the same!" Donnie was flooding his eyes with tears as they all walked back to the sewers. all except for one. Mikey.
Still crying, still trying, and still having hope, Mikey was desperately wanting his brother back. He had no plans of stopping, even when family members tried convincing him otherwise. He didn't even care about humans seeing him at this point. He wanted to get Leo back, and fast. He didn't know how long it would take before the Kraang finished their punch-up session with Leonardo. Little did he know, the punch-up had just begun.
