welcome to the second chapter of my modern AU fanfiction of Disney's instant classic of 'Frozen 2013'. in this chapter Anna and Freya meet who a duo of dreamy guys who appear to both be the epitomes of their ideal men. while Anna experiences love at first sight with her dreamboat, Freya is her usual self and takes a bit more time to warm up even to a guy who looks like Sitron. what does Sitron Dukeson do exactly to win over Freya Nigari? how does their first meeting with their hunky men go? to find out read the second chapter of my fanfiction, 'Frozen Face Down: A Modern Take on Disney's Frozen 2013'. a chapter which I like to call 'Meeting Hans and Sitron'.
disclamation: I do not own Disney's 'Frozen' except for owning the film on Bluray and DVD. in the movie's production, I'm afraid that 'Frozen 2013' still belongs solely to the Walt Disney Studios Company in Hollywood right in Southern California. I also admit to owning only a little bit of this fanfiction's storyline. this fanfiction was actually inspired by another blogger's work on this website by the penname of classicdisneyFTW. the only things in this fanfiction which are truly mine are my OC, Freya Nigari, the inclusion of Prince Hans' horse from the movie, Sitron, in human form and a bit of the plotline is my own.
Anna and Freya turned to enter the building in which their first class was located, the 'Castle' Building. It was the most enormous building the two of them thought they had ever seen.
"How are we supposed to find one class in this enormous building?" Anna asked.
"My thoughts exactly," Freya said in response. "This place is massive. We should've at least asked Olaf for directions while we were still socializing with him. Well, it's not like it would do us any good now, since he's most likely at his own class now as we speak. So, we might as well try to find it on our own."
"Exactly, Freya," Anna replied to her friend. "How hard can it be to find one classroom? Who knows? Maybe, it'll wind up being one of the first doors we see when we walk in."
But, Anna and Freya's hopes for an easy find were suddenly completely crushed by the time they made it into the building. Doors upon doors upon doors, students rushing everywhere in every which way. there were also several staircases going in each direction.
"Me and my big mouth," Anna said. Then, she looked at her phone while Freya looked at her watch. "At least, we still have fifteen minutes to get to our class."
"I just hope it's an easy class to find," Freya said to Anna. "Come on, let's at least try to look at some of the doors."
They found room 115, but they were both looking for room 404. They were not even close. "Me and my big mouth," Freya repeated what Anna had said when the two of them first entered the building.
"Where are we even supposed to go?" Anna asked as more to herself than to her girl friend.
"How should I know?" Freya answered anyway with a question which was more sarcasm than a real question. "I don't even know where to go on this campus."
"I'm not even sure that we're in the right building," Anna replied, desperate to figure out this whole enormous campus.
Students bumped into the two of them left and right, and before they even knew it, they were not even in one another's line of vision anymore. That is exactly correct! They managed to lose each other in the crowd and get themselves as good as separated from one another.
They both desperately called out to one another in the hallway. "Anna!" Freya called out. "Anna, are you there?" Freya cried out like a lost kitten. "Anna, Please, I can't look for you and our classroom at the same time." Freya seemed close to tears.
A/N: that's right. I'm basing Freya and her hesitance to make friends at the same rate as Anna on the actions of a stray cat.
Anna heard her high school friend loud and clear. "Don't worry, Freya," Anna began. "I promise that you won't have to look for both at once. But, please, let me know where you are, and I can come to you," Anna told her friend.
Anna tried to keep her word to Freya, but she just could not get through the crowd. Freya could not either, apparently.
The two of them were almost lost to one another when both of them were greeted by a handsome stranger from both of their ends. While it might have been love at first sight for Anna with her encounter, Freya was naturally a bit hesitant about trusting a complete stranger with her safety, never mind getting her back to her friend.
Anna's handsome stranger was at first seen as an obstacle, however, and even caused her to fall to the cold, hard floor of the hallway. "Hey!" she said to him as soon as he bumped into her.
Luckily for him, he happened to have the most dazzlingly dreamy green eyes she had ever seen in her whole life. "I'm so sorry," Anna's handsome stranger apologized. "Are you hurt?" he asked her after his apology.
Naturally, Anna felt blown away by his more than attractive facial features. "Hey, I uh-no, no," she said nervously. "I'm fine, I'm OK."
"Are you sure you're alright? That was a pretty nasty fall you took," he stated as soon as he helped her pick up her binder and her schedule.
"I'm fine. I just wasn't looking where I was going because I was trying to find my classroom," Anna began to say. "And making matters urgent, I also lost my friend who has my same schedule," Anna stated as soon as she realized she still had to find her high school friend, Freya. "Freya, where are you? Freya, please answer me. Freya!" Anna cried out into the hallway once again.
Her handsome stranger offered his help in locating Freya. "Well, maybe I can help you find your friend?" he offered her.
Anna was touched by his gesture. "You would do that?" she asked.
"Anything to help a girl as beautiful and alluring as you," he told Anna. She giggled in response. She had never before been called beautiful by any man at all. Cute by her father, for sure, and all of the male servants back at home, maybe, but never beautiful… or even alluring.
Meanwhile, Freya was looking desperately for her friend, Anna, when she ran into her own handsome stranger while she called out to Anna, crying. "Anna! Anna! Anna!" Freya was soon crying her heart out at the thought of being alone without Anna.
That was when a mysterious hand reached out to touch her shoulder as though the owner of it were trying to offer her comfort. "You OK, girl?" he asked her. Sure he was a stud-muffin with a unique hair color combination of blonde on one side and brunette on the other, and yeah she did have sort of a weakness for unique hair colors, but that was not going to be enough to distract Freya from her mission to find her best friend since their high school days, Anna.
She was not one to fall for someone as easily as her high school friend, anyway. "I'm sorry, stud-I mean, dude," Freya began, blushing when she openly called him a stud before correcting herself. "I don't have time to chat. I've gotta locate my friend from whom this stupid crowd separated me and after that, the two of us have to pinpoint our joint classroom."
"I'm sure you'll find your friend and your classroom. Maybe I could even help you look," he offered.
Freya was only suspicious of his kindness, and the feeling made her hesitant to accept this stranger's offer. "I don't know," she told him. "Are you just gonna use this offer to get me alone, get me to go out with you, and get me drunk against my will?" she asked a little paranoid.
But, her handsome stranger soon proved that he just wanted to help her out of his own good will. "No, I really do wanna help you find your friend, this I promise you," he offered her a golden rose to illustrate his point. Freya blushed a slight shade of pink at this, knowing that a golden rose was a symbol of friendship in the language of roses.
With that, Freya finally gave into her own covert impulses to spend time with this handsome stranger a mere second after she smelt his rose. "OK, fine. You talked me into it," she told him. "You're just lucky that the way to my heart is through my friends who I hold the most near and dear."
"Your dedication to your friendship with this other girl is so alluring, babe," he said. "I like that in a chic."
Freya was impressed with him to say the least. Normally from her previous experiences, guys would always make her choose between them and her family/friends. They would also become too forward with her too quickly in the past. This stud-muffin she had just now met, however, did not seem like that type.
Back with Anna, she was talking with her own handsome guy. "Is the campus always this packed?" Anna asked her hunk.
Suddenly, someone else answered for Anna's handsome stranger. "Well, this is the Castle Building. It's also the main center of the campus. Usually in the morning, especially at the beginning of the year when everyone's trying to find their classes, it can get pretty crazy on these grounds." It was Freya's stud-muffin. The two girls had reunited with one another thanks to these two dreamboats.
"Are you two models… or something?" Anna asked, but blushed not long after she asked the two hunks her question. "Sorry about the assumptions, boys. It's just that you two kinda look like you could be models." Anna tried to fix her statement, but it did not come out any better that time, either.
Anna's hunk took over. "No, we're not models," he began. "other than whenever we model for our fellow students in the on-campus design classes. Speaking once again of the school, the way the Castle Building works is that the first number of the room number is that that number is the floor number. Actually, that's pretty much the exact way this whole thing works in basically every building on campus. In a way, it's sort of like when you'd be vacationing at a hotel, if you will. So, ladies, if your room number is…?"
Freya took over for Anna, who was still flustered and slightly tongue-tied. Granted, Freya was slightly flustered and a little tongue-tied, herself, but she figured that someone had to tell these two hunks the number of their joint classroom.
"Eh, 404," the raven-haired girl stated to the two of them in spite of her own new found flushed cheeks and speech impairments that would be just clumsy enough to rival even that of Anna's own clumsiness when it came to socialization.
It was Freya's hunk's turn to speak. "404, huh? Your class is on the fourth floor then," he pointed out to the two ladies present.
Anna nodded as soon as she heard what the room number was while Freya breathed out a sigh of relief. "Well, that should certainly make things easier," Anna said. "I just hope we won't have this much trouble finding our other classes."
"My name is Hans Southerton, by the way," Anna's hunk finally introduced himself. "And this gentleman who helped the pretty and petite raven-haired girl is my friend, Sitron Dukeson."
"A pleasure, m'lady," Sitron greeted Freya.
A weird thought suddenly came over Freya's mind. "You guys aren't royalty adjacent, are you?" she asked as though she were fearful that an orphaned commoner such as her who was merely adopted into her friend, Anna's, own aristocratic family would never be fit to even breathe the same air as her dreamboat, never mind be in a relationship with him.
"Well, um, actually we are, Miss…" Hans began.
"Oh, right, I'm Anna Fjordsen and the raven-haired girl your friend helped out, Hans, is my high school friend, Freya Nigari," Anna told the two of them.
"I'm sorry," Freya said suddenly out of nowhere, bowing her head and falling to her knees. "I'm so sorry if I happened to offend you with my own question, and I know I deserve to be punished for it. It's just that I'm not anywhere near as royalty adjacent as my friend, Anna. I was an orphaned commoner who was only adopted into my own high school friend's aristocratic family."
Sitron could suddenly see where this went. So, he decided to calm Freya down. "As long as you do try too hard to act like an aristocrat, I'm sure that Hans and I can always turn the other cheek with you around. Besides, your refinement makes it difficult to know that you were ever a commoner at all, anyway," Sitron concluded to Freya.
Freya was slightly taken aback by her crush, Sitron's, willingness to accept her the way that she was. It made her turn a slight pink on her cheeks.
Back with Anna and Hans, Hans suddenly got the impression that he had heard Anna's surname before. "Wait a minute, did you say your last name was 'Fjordsen', Anna?" he asked her.
"Yeah, it's 'Fjordsen'," Anna told him. "Why?"
"You're not related to Elsa Fjordsen, by any chance, are you?" Hans asked her.
Alright, Anna had not been expecting that. "Yeah, actually," she told Hans. "She's my sister. Well, she's my biological sister, anyway."
"Yeah, I thought that family name sounded familiar," Hans nodded.
"Wow!" Anna exclaimed. "I didn't even think anyone knew my sister here, she's such a recluse." She raised her eyebrow.
Hans just smiled at this. "Yeah, lots of people knew her before she went into seclusion," he said. "She used to come around here a lot until one day, she disappeared for reasons unknown."
"So, did you, you know, talk to her… at all?" Anna asked Hans.
"Not much," he told her. "Maybe once or twice. I merely remembered her for her stunning platinum blonde hair and pale blue eyes. I'd never seen anything like it before that."
"Oh, I know," Anna said. "I actually don't even know where she gets it. Everyone in our family has either dark or red hair."
"Judging by yours, I'd say that you take after the latter in hair color," Hans said to Anna.
Anna eyed one of the braids hanging at the side of her head. "Well, red isn't exactly any platinum blonde," she said.
Hans smiled at her once again. "You know, I've always liked a redhead," he commented.
Freya saw where this was going from where she stood. "Well, you're kinda a redhead, yourself, aren't you, Hans?" she asked.
Hans knew what Freya was talking about. "I suppose I am, Freya," He began. "Your hair, however, Anna, is a much better red by far," he finished, although it was to Anna.
Anna could feel herself blush at this. "It's not like it's totally red, though. In retrospect, it's more of a reddish blonde," she told him. "And, what about this one random streak of white in it?" she asked, pointing to the white streak.
Hans and Sitron both looked to the side of her hair. "I didn't even notice that part," Hans remarked.
"Whoa, how did that even happen?" Sitron asked.
"She told me she was born with it when we were fifteen," Freya told them.
"Although, I did dream that I was kissed by a troll, as I remember telling you, Freya," Anna chimed into her friend beating her to what she wanted to say for herself.
But, it sounded horrid when Anna realized in front of whom she was talking to Freya. 'Ugh, you did not just mention that little memory to Freya in front of such exquisite hunks, Anna,' Anna scolded to herself in her head. 'you did not just tell two totally good-looking guys that you dreamt of kissing a troll at one point of your life.'
Hans and Sitron just chuckled, however. "Well, this is your class, ladies," Hans told them.
Anna and Freya looked away from the guys just long enough to look at the door. "Yep!" Freya commented. "This is us, alright." Then, she realized that she could not have worded her sentence worse, and she blushed up a storm of red. "I mean, this is my friend, Anna, and me. Of course, that's what I meant by 'this is us', not that this is all four of us." It was now Freya's turn to make a complete and total idiot of herself in front of the two hunks that helped her and Anna get to their classroom. 'How did we even get here so fast?' Freya thought to herself, wondering why she and Anna were at their classroom already.
A/N: oh well, at least Anna got her wish to meet someone special after all. not only that, but that special someone even came with an equally handsome and attractive friend for Freya, herself, to like that way.
"Well, ladies, I guess this is where we leave you," Sitron said.
"Yeah, I guess," Freya said sadly for both herself and for Anna, believing that her beloved Sitron and his friend, Hans, wanted nothing more to do with the two of them, seeing as how they both made fools of themselves in front of two incredibly good-looking guys.
"But, we'll see you two later, I suppose," Hans said to them both.
This surprised both Anna and Freya to say the least. 'They would? These two hunks actually wanted to see the two of us again?' Anna thought. "Yeah?" she asked the two dreamboats.
"Of course," Hans told them.
"Have fun in economics class, you two," Sitron wished them well.
