well, just like the title of this chapter says, Anna, and surprisingly even her high school friend, Freya, both need a tutor... or two. this fanfiction is still titled 'Frozen Face Down: A Modern Take on Disney's Frozen 2013' and I still don't own even this fanfiction's storyline. I saw this storyline on this very website and had even favorited the fanfiction it was written under, titled simply 'Face Down', title based loosely upon the hit song by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. the only thing about 'Frozen Face Down: A Modern Take on Disney's Frozen 2013' which is truly mine is that of the fanfiction, itself.

disclamation: I do not own 'Frozen 2013' in any way, shape, or form unless owning it on Bluray and DVD would ever count, though I highly doubt it. I believe I had admitted to not even owning this very storyline in the previous paragraph, and somehow I feel like I should say it in this one, too, much to my annoyance. I also do not own even this fanfiction's storyline. the storyline is originally from the mind of classicdisneyFTW's own 'Face Down' fanfiction.

anyways, I hope I'm not copying off of their fanfiction too much. at least, I'm admitting to it, though. I hope that confessing to it counts for something, at least. enjoy.

Anna sighed in disappointment at the grade she had just recently received from hers and Freya's joint math professor. "I can't believe this! Two weeks into the semester and I already need a tutor?!" the semi-blonde redhead exclaimed as more of a statement that a question.

Olaf and Freya looked over at the math paper their friend was fretting so much over. It was none other than her second math exam. Sixty-four percent, it said on the score. It also included a note from the two girls' joint professor which had said, 'Possibly get a tutor before you fall behind.'

"I did, however, manage to get a C on our first math exam, though, Freya!" Anna told her high school friend, pulling out the exam sheet she used from their first math exam.

Freya looked at her high school girl friend's first math test. It was not a C like Anna thought it was, though. Sixty-nine percent actually put her friend at a 'D+' average originally. The ivory-skinned, raven-haired former orphan was just looking for a tactful way to tell her semi-blonde redheaded friend that she was mistaken about the first exam in her mind.

Unfortunately, however, Olaf beat Freya to the game of telling Anna the truth about her grade point average in math upon him looking at their friend's first math exam sheet. "Nope! Sixty-nine percent is actually a 'D+'," the little pudgy college sophomore told the semi-blonde redheaded freshman girl.

Freya had to admit it was a bit tactless of Olaf, and she was surprised to hear him be so blunt. 'He told her!' the raven-haired, ivory-skinned girl shouted in her head about Olaf telling her semi-blonde redheaded high school friend the truth about her grade point average in math class.

Anna, however, only responded to Olaf's slightly tactless statement with a groan a defiant thump with the act of dropping her head onto the table.

"You think that your meltdown could be a little quieter, Anna?" Freya suggested to her semi-blonde redheaded high school friend.

"Yes, Freya's right, Anna," Olaf interjected. "This is the library after all. Besides, a tutor isn't so bad. You do get the chance to make a new friend, anyway."

Anna just groaned inwardly and turned her head to face her newer friend, Olaf. "Who would make friends with their tutor?" Anna asked the pudgy little guy. "Don't they just get paid to help you out with your homework?"

"Cheer up, Anna," Freya told her high school friend. "It's not like having to get a tutor is the end of the world, and Professor Northuldra did say that you needed one in order to at least pass this next exam so that you don't flunk out of the entire class. There is only one more math exam left before the mandatory break in December, and she did say that you need to get at least a tutor if only to help you," the ivory-skinned, raven-haired girl finally finished with her little speech to her semi-blonde redheaded high school girl friend.

A/N: you see what I did by naming Anna and Freya's math professor 'Professor Northuldra'? that was my own personal homage to 'Frozen II', the sequel to 'Frozen' which was released in 2019.

"She's right again, Anna," Olaf told the semi-blonde redhead. "This is something you need to do if you wanna actually have the break to relax," the pudgy, little sophomore finished.

"You don't even have to actually make friends with your tutor if you find that you're unable to, Anna," Freya told her high school friend. "You don't even have to get along with the person in order to learn what they have to teach you. You only have to listen to what they're telling you to do with your homework and studies."

"And if you could find the ability to make friends with your tutor, you might just start to think they're fun to be around," Olaf said in support of the alternative to Anna not getting along with her tutor as Freya had said.

Anna finally saw just how right they both were and decided that she was not willing to give up on hers and Freya's joint math class. "You know what? You're right, guys. Maybe, I should try it out," the semi-blonde redhead told both of her best friends. "And maybe, just maybe, you could be my tutor for math class, Freya? Please," Anna asked to her ivory-skinned, raven-haired high school friend in desperation for it not to be a stranger.

"Don't wanna disappoint you, Anna, but there are three reasons I can't be your tutor," Freya told her high school friend, while blushing at the part about there being three reasons instead of just one or two like she was hiding something from the other two.

Anna and Olaf naturally grew curious at her mention of there being, "Three reasons?" the two of them both asked their friend, Freya, simultaneously.

Freya knew that she would have to let the truth fly free sooner or later, and she finally figured that she needed to tell them at that moment. "Well, reason number one is that I would need a math scholarship to help Anna as a tutor instead of just as a friend. Reason number two is more apparent to both Olaf and me since it would kinda derail just what Olaf had told you about the probability of making a new friend in your tutor, Anna," the ivory-skinned, raven-haired girl said, starting off by only telling them the first two reasons why she could not be her friend, Anna's, tutor in math.

"She's right about that, you know, Anna," Olaf told the semi-blonde redhead. "It would kind of derail the possibility of you getting to make a new friend like I had said could happen in getting a tutor."

"Touché, you two!" Anna said, crossing her arms and closing her eyes, yet with a sad look on her face. That was when she actually remembered that Freya actually had three reasons for not being able to be her tutor. "Wait! That just leaves one reason more as to why you can't be my tutor instead of some stranger, Freya."

Freya's normal ivory complexion turned a slight tint of pink when she realized, "OK, Anna. You caught me, and you're right. There really is a third reason. I kinda hoped that you would've at least forgotten that I mentioned there being three reasons instead of just one or two, but I guess I couldn't even get it past you," Freya told the both of her friends. "I also have a confession to make to you two," Freya finally told them, digging through her own backpack. When she pulled both of the papers out, Olaf and Anna were openly shocked to find that Freya had her own problems with falling behind on her own math exams.

"You're failing math, too, Freya?" Anna asked her high school friend like she could not believe what was going on. "How could this happen to you, Freya? You're supposed to be the smart one in our friendship. You always had all the answers when we were in high school together. What's going on with you?" Anna asked Freya, finally finishing up with practically interrogating her own friend.

"Calm down, Anna," Olaf tried to tell the semi-blonde redhead to keep her cool. "I'm sure that it was an accident, and Freya didn't meant to fall behind on her own work," the pudgy, little sophomore told Anna, coming to Freya's defense.

"I promise that Olaf's telling the truth when he says that I didn't fail the last exam on purpose," Freya told her long-time high school friend.

"Then, how did you go from eighty-two percent, which is obviously a 'B-', to sixty-nine percent, which is apparently a 'D+'?" Anna basically interrogated her own friend further. "If it was so much of an accident, why did you flunk the last math exam, too, Freya?" Anna asked her ivory-skinned, raven-haired high school friend further, only this time it was out of worry instead of anger.

"You're right about me being the smart one in our friendship, Anna, and it's pretty obvious that I shouldn't have failed the second exam in math," Freya told her friend before taking in and out a deep, cleansing breath. "You know how I have the window desk in Professor Yelena Northuldra's classroom, Anna?" the ivory-skinned, raven-haired girl asked her semi-blonde redheaded high school friend.

A/N: and that, my loyal readers, is my homage to 'Frozen II' in this same chapter being taken a step further with Professor Northuldra's first name being Yelena.

Anna nodded her head in response to the beginning of Freya's explanation to signify that she was listening to where her friend was going with it. "Well on the day of the first exam, I didn't get any distractions from being in the desk closest to the window, as you can see from my first exam sheet," Freya confessed to her accidental transgression on the second exam in hers and Anna's joint math class by choosing to casually lead into it. "On the day of the second math exam, however, I got distracted my concentration in the middle of the exam by what, or rather who, was just outside the window in my line of vision." It was right then and there that Freya suddenly wore a dreamy look of infatuation on her face.

Anna suddenly saw where her friend's tale of slowly failing math was going; Freya was so very obviously in love with someone. Anna did not know who this guy was that could distract her high school friend enough to fail her exam, but she decided to at least be happy that Freya had found someone she was in love with. "Who was it? Who? Who? Who, Freya?" Anna asked her friend. "I just gotta know who you're finally in love with." Anna was more than eager to find out just who it was who her friend since high school, Freya, was so in love with.

"Chill, Anna! Chill! I can tell you if you can calm yourself down even if only a little bit," Freya promised her high school friend. Anna shut her mouth by taking in a large breath of air. Freya, herself, started to freak out a bit just after telling Anna to calm down. "It was Hans' friend, Sitron Dukeson. I'm in love with your own pretty boy's dual hair-colored friend," Freya finally told Anna, freaking out like nobody's business.

Anna sighed in dreaminess at her friend, Freya, finally finding love in university at the same time as she had. "I guess love truly is in the air for the both of us, Freya," Anna told her friend.

Olaf was so happy for the both of them. "Aw, that's so sweet," the pudgy, little sophomore said to his two new friends.

It was right then and there that Freya suddenly realized that her mediocre grade on her second math exam meant that she was going to need a tutor in addition to her own friend, Anna. "I guess that last reason was why I was on Olaf's side about needing a tutor for math. I kinda didn't wanna be in it alone," the ivory-skinned, raven-haired girl told her best friend from their high school days.

Anna, having finally understood that the both of them needed a tutor whether they wanted one or not, decided that if her high school friend was gonna be in it with her, she supposed she could grin and bear it. "Cheer up, Freya, at least we might just be lucky enough to get the same tutor if we register for one early enough," the semi-blonde redhead told her ivory-skinned, raven-haired high school girl friend.

"I guess you're right, Anna," Freya told her best friend from high school. "Maybe we could get lucky enough to get the same tutor."

"See, girls?" Olaf asked his two female friends. "Now, it'll be just as fun of an experience for the both of you so long as you're in it together, and I'm pretty sure that you two can apply for a tutor at Student Services in the Castle Building."

Anna just nodded in response. "Yeah, you're both right. We should make sure to do that later, Freya," the semi-blonde redhead said her ivory-skinned, raven-haired high school friend.

A/N: sorry about this chapter being longer than I had anticipated. I guess I just didn't expect to use so many words. I guess the author's notes in the middle of this and all of my other fanfictions might as well be more like author's comments to the same fanfictions I actually write.
