God's Game – The First Inheritor

Summary: I was hyped when I learned I was getting Isekai'd, wondering what cool power I'd get to help me fuck shit up. Instead, I ended up an orphan in Italy, with no powers of my own to help me survive in the world of Devils, Angels, and Tits… But just because I wasn't sent to the world with power, doesn't mean I could obtain it after. 'Welcome to the Game.' SI/Gamer OC

I: Time for a Tutorial

Fourteen years.

I'd had nearly a decade and a half to come to terms with the fact that I would never be anything special in this world of angels, devils, and gods. That I'd always just be a mundane person. I hadn't made peace with it or been happy about it, but I'd come to accept it.

So, what was this? A gamer system? Why now? What could have possibly…

"… Last night wasn't a dream," I whispered, watching my own face pale in the mirror. "Oh god, it wasn't a dream…"

I looked down at my legs, frantically patting them to make sure they were still there. I couldn't feel anything different, but as I thought about it I could still feel the phantom pains of my legs being eaten. Oh god, it had been real. I'd almost died again.

I snapped my gaze up to the screen, which kept hovering there innocently, unchanging.

Welcome to the Game!

Taking a deep breath, I forced down the excitement that was starting to bubble up inside of me. I didn't know if this was a trick or something, though I doubted it. I should be dead, but I wasn't. It felt like some Solo Levelling shit right there, where after getting the game I got my legs back.

"Okay… Okay…" I took another breath and exhaled. "There's no use just sitting around, might as well check this thing out. Worst case scenario, I'm hallucinating. Best case scenario, I get to build my harem and join the supernatural… Please be best case scenario."

The screen in front of me changed as I accepted what was happening.

Would you like to begin the tutorial?
Y/N

"God please yes," I nodded rapidly. This was my life, not just a game, I wasn't going to play through without a tutorial to help me along!

Welcome, User, to the new and improved God System Version 2.3.2.

"… God System?" I questioned, raising an eye.

The God System is a unique system that can only be used by a being that is compatible with the system. The user is currently the person with the most compatibility with the system in the world, even surpassing the previous user who had a 76.3% compatibility with the system, at an astounding 98.64%.

"Previous user? Who was the last user?"

The previous user's name was Elohim. The previous user was better known under the name of 'Biblical God.'

My eyes widened in shock as I took a moment to comprehend that line for all it was worth.

The Biblical God was a fucking Gamer in this world? I mean, it kind of made sense? But at the same time, it was so mind blowing that I needed a moment to comprehend it.

Okay, so the Biblical God was a gamer. And I now had a 'new and improved' version.

… Awesome.

Before we continue with the tutorial, please select a person to act as your companion A.I. to help you with the game. Please note you may change your companion A.I. at any time.

"Companion A.I?" I questioned. "Like… I can pick anyone? Even like…" I raked my brain. "The Archangel Gabriel?"

Would you like to set the Archangel Gabriel as your A.I.?

My eyes widened when I read that. "What about Juvia Lockser?"

Would you like to set Juvia Lockser as your A.I.?

"C.C?"

"Hinata Hyuga?"

"Elizabeth Liones?"

"Princess Peach?"

"Shego from Kim Possible?"

I spent probably 10 minutes naming as many different female characters as possible, and each time the game asked me if I wanted to set them as my A.I.

My mind was blown.

With the experimenting done, I now had to really think. I had to set someone who had a voice the was soothing to my ears, but who's voice didn't arouse me, and who wasn't too teasing so that I wouldn't lament that I couldn't have sex with them-!

Once the user reaches Level 60, the Companion A.I. is able to be summoned to help the user relieve stress.

… I loved this System already.

I took a breath and decided on who to start with. It helped that I could change the A.I. at any time, so I didn't have to worry about it being locked in permanently. "Rhea from Fire Emblem Three Houses."

Would you like to set Rhea (Fire Emblem) as your A.I.?

"Yes."

Confirmed.

Thank you for selecting me, Tony. I shall aid you to the best of my abilities.

A pleasant shudder ran through my spine at the sound of Rhea's kind, soothing voice. I found myself relaxing, a small smile coming to my face. "Glad to have you on board, Rhea."

Once again, I thank you. Let us proceed with the tutorial. As you are likely aware, you have a status page. To open it, please say 'Stats' or 'Status.' You may also simply think it.

"Status!"

Name: Antonio Bianchi
Race: Human
Title: None
Level: 1
HP: 10/10
MP: 0/0
STR: 1
VIT: 1
INT: 1
WIS: 1
DEX: 1
LUK: 1

I stared. "Why the hell are my stats so low, and why am I only Level 1? And why is my MP at zero? Hell, why is my HP only a fucking 10!?"

Please, be at peace. This is only the tutorial. Once it is cleared, experiences from before you obtained the system shall be calculated, and levels and stats shall be added appropriately.

"Oh. Er, sorry, please continue."

It is alright, you were merely concerned. As you can see, this is your stats page. You are likely aware of how each stat works, but I shall give you a brief overview of all of them just to be safe.

STR – The Strength Stat. This is a representation of your physical strength, and it increases the damage dealt with your attacks, how much weight you can lift at once, and so on.

VIT- The Vitality Stat. This stat determines your physical health, increasing your defence as well as your health stat. Your maximum HP shall always be equal to your VIT x10. As such, with your VIT at 1, your HP is only 10.

INT – The Intelligence Stat. This stat determines how fast you can thank, and how well you can think. It helps you draw conclusions at a faster rate, and also affects the amount of information you can draw at a moment's notice. Your maximum MP is determined by your INT x10.

WIS – The Wisdom Stat. While intelligence determines how smart you are, Wisdom is the stat that helps you apply that knowledge. It is of no help to you if you have knowledge rivalling Tony Stark but have no idea on how to apply and use it. Applies a .1x multiplier to Magic based attacks per WIS.

DEX – The Dexterity Stat. This stat determines your accuracy, your flexibility, your speed and agility. After all, all the strength in the world is worthless to you if you cannot hit your opponent.

LUK – The Luck Stat. This stat determines just how lucky you are. It increases the drop rate of items, increases the rarity of item drops, while also increasing your chances of scoring a critical hit. And, of course, increases your odds of winning when gambling.

I gave a slow nod as I processed all of that. "Right, got it. But why is my MP locked? And how does levelling benefit me?"

The user's MP is locked until such a time as they unlock their magic. Worry not, while this would be difficult for a normal person, you are the gamer. As such, your MP shall be automatically unlocked when you obtain your first magic spell.

As for levelling, every level you go up, you shall receive 5 Stat Points to distribute as you please. You can obtain additional stat points from quests.

"Okay, cool, then please continue."

Next is the Skills Page, a page that lists all of your skills and abilities. They are broken into subcategories of Active and Passive skills. Skills that act as Active and Passive shall be listed in Passive. To open the page, please say or think 'Skills.'

"Skills."

Active

Cooking – Level 8 – Common
The skill that represents your cooking abilities. You are below average as a cook.

Cleaning – Level 17 – Uncommon
The skill that represents how fast and efficiently you can clean something. You are average at cleaning.

And on went the list of active skills with a bunch of mundane things filling the list. Meanwhile passive…

Passive

[Empty]

It was completely blank. I let out a sigh, but I wasn't too surprised.

As you can see, you have quite a few active skills, but no passives. This is because Passive Skills are often supernatural in nature, and you haven't had interaction with it until now. But do not be discouraged, you will certainly obtain many skills in the future. As you obtain more skills, they shall be placed into more and more subcategories to help you organise and find specific skills.

I nodded, watching as my skills were organised into subcategories like 'Household Skills' and such. "Thank you, that makes things a lot more convenient.

You are most welcome, Tony.

Moving on, next are your Perks and Traits. Perks are, as they say, abilities that are helpful to you that act in a similar way to passive skills. Perks can be obtained numerous ways, from raising someone's reputation, to finding it in a chest in a dungeon, to simply levelling certain skills or stats to a point.

I gave a nod, that was fairly straight forward. I was also glad for the confirmation I had a reputation and dungeon system.

Traits are similar to Perks, but they will not always be helpful to you. An example is the 'impotent' trait, which I am sure you are aware of what it does. Alternatively, you could also receive helpful traits that act similarly to perks and help you along your way. Almost all traits are able to be removed through hard work, determination, and magic if needed.

Your status page has been updated with your existing perks and traits.

I quickly opened the menu, looking below my stats at the new information below.

Perks

[Genius of Hard Work]
You have worked hard to train your body in hopes of breaking into the supernatural, never giving up your training even when you gave up hope of joining the true world.

+20% growth to all Physical Stats.

I let out a low whistle and smiled. I was glad that all of my hard work hadn't been for nothing, that something had come out of training my ass off.

Traits

[Isekai'd Soul]
While your body is of this world, your soul is not, and those of the supernatural are able to feel that, considering you an outsider.

Start with -5 Affection with all Supernatural Beings.

Grants knowledge of canon of the world you are in (provided you at least knew the name of that world in your past life.)

[Anti-Social]
You are not a social butterfly, finding it difficult to interact and connect with others at first.

Halves Affection gains between 0 – 10 affection.

I winced as I read the two traits I had… Those were decidedly not the best traits. Starting with negative reputation with every supernatural I met, plus my affection gains were halved from 0 to 10 affection. Thankfully, I imagined the Anti-Social trait would be removed as I increased affection with multiple people, because then I'd be considered 'Social.'

Worry not, Tony. I am sure you will make plenty of friends and remove that troubling trait.

Next is the Affection System. As the name implies, it determines the strength of your friendship or relationship with someone. Affection goes from -100 to 100. Once your affection with someone hits 100, it is locked there and cannot be increased or lowered. At 50 and 100 affection with people, you shall obtain a Skill or Perk based on that person. For example, if you increased your affection with Rias Gremory to 50, you might obtain a perk that increases reputation gains with large breasted women, princess-like people, red-heads, and so on. If you receive a duplicate perk, it shall instead randomize what you receive, which could be anything from an item to a skill. If you receive a duplicate skill, the level of that skill shall increase by 1.

Alongside affection, you also have an 'obedience' score with people. The higher the obedience, the more likely they are to obey your orders. Even if you have -100 affection with someone, so long as they have a high obedience then they shall do as you say.

To open your Affection Menu, please say 'Relationships.'

"Relationships."

Relationships

Emilia Romano: Affection: 5/Obedience: 0

I blinked as I saw that was my only relationship and I groaned, face palming. I mean, it made sense. I didn't really interact with anyone else and kept to myself, but I'd hoped I had some affection with other people.

Please don't be discouraged, many gamers start out without any affection or relationships whatsoever. I am sure you shall form many bonds as you progress through your life, and you will look back on this day with amusement.

"Thank you for the vote of confidence, Rhea," I told her, splashing my face with water again. "Okay, next?"

Next is the Store. I shall go into more detail about the store when it is unlocked at Level 20, but it is self-explanatory. The store is where you are able to buy items, such as Skill Orbs, equipment, or even clothing and food. The higher rarity the item, the more expensive it is. It can be accessed by saying 'Store.'

I sighed but gave a nod, fair enough. If the store was unlocked right away, there'd be little stopping me besides lack of funds from getting some decent gear and grinding with that. This way, I would actually have to work hard in order to progress.

The Quest System is next and is rather self-explanatory. As you place clear goals within your mind, or certain events come up, the system will give you quests. There are four types of Quests: 'Main,' 'Side,' 'Daily,' and 'Emergency.'

Main Quests are just that, quests that are relevant to the 'storyline,' which will help you progress. Story quests will often have a time limit to clear them. If you fail to clear the Main Quest in time, a punishment shall be placed upon you. The punishment placed upon you shall vary depending on the importance of the Main Quest you failed.

I gave a soft gulp at that, a small shudder of fear running through me. I would have to make sure to not fuck up and fail to clear my Main Quests then.

Next are Side Quests. Side Quests are optional quests that can lead you to 'Side Stories' and interesting storylines that can have incredible benefits to the player. Side Quests tend to not have a time limit; however, it is suggested you clear any Side Quest you receive as soon as possible.

Hm… That sounded about right. A lot of games had side quests that led you to amazing loot that would then make the main game easy, so no wonder it wanted me to clear side quests if possible.

Daily Quests are quests that pop up almost every day, such as going to school, doing a daily workout, and so on. Daily Quests have a time limit depending on when in the day they are needed (after all, there's no point going to school in the middle of the night). You shall receive rewards or penalties for clearing or failing the quest, depending on the quest.

Nothing to really comment on here, just standard stuff.

Finally, there are Emergency Quests. Emergency Quests are important quests that pop up for a very limited time. All other quests are immediately to be put on hold, and the Emergency Quest is to be cleared as soon as possible. Failure to clear an Emergency Quest will result in harsh penalties.

I gulped again, feeling myself pale a little. Harsh penalties? God, that did not sound pleasant.

Don't worry, Tony. The System is here to help you, it will never give you a quest that you cannot do if given time.

Next is the Inventory System. The Inventory can store anything except living creatures. This does not include things like plants and flowers which are technically alive. You can open it up at any time simply by saying Inventory. Right now, it is empty, but I'm sure it will be a staple part of your gameplay.

To finish the tutorial, we have the Gacha Menu.

I paled. "… No."

The Gacha System holds every single item, Perk, and skill that you could ever want within it, separated into rarities. The rarities of the items are Common – Uncommon – Rare – Epic – Legendary – Godly. To roll the Gacha, you need Gacha Tokens. Gacha Tokens can be obtained by clearing quests, enemy drops, and other tasks. You can exchange ten of one previous rarity token, in order to obtain the next rarest token. So, 10 Common Gacha Tokens can be exchanged for 1 Uncommon Gacha Token, and so on. Be warned, you cannot exchange one higher rarity token for lower rarity tokens.

I took a deep breath. Okay… That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Still not great, but reasonable at least.

With that, the tutorial has finished. The system will now calculate your previous experiences and increase your Level and stats appropriately.

I gave a soft gulp as I waited, wondering just how far all my training, studying, and hard work had come.

You have Levelled Up x6.

+8 STR. +11 VIT. +6 INT. +7 WIS. +6 DEX. +2 LUK.

I let out a soft sigh of relief. I had no idea on if 6 Levels in 14 years was good for a normal human, but I would take it. And my stats had gone up a decent amount too, so I didn't feel quite so powerless.

As a reward for clearing the tutorial, and an apology for the hardship you have felt because of being Isekai'd to this world with no additional abilities, the System has granted you 3 Rare Gacha Tokens.

"Really?" I blinked. That was awfully generous, but I wasn't going to turn down such a gift. "Thank you so much."

It is my pleasure to help you achieve your full potential, Tony.

"Even so, thank you Rhea. Please, roll the Gacha with all three tokens for me."

Certainly.

Gacha Results

Skill Orb – Charisma (Rare)

Skill Orb – Venom Dragon Slayer Magic (Epic)

I gave a small grin as I read the second one, eyes lighting up. While it wasn't necessarily the most useful things right away since even when I unlocked my magic it would still be low, it was still literal Dragon Slayer Magic, in a world where Dragons were considered the strongest beings. Hell, given this was Venom dragon rather than just Poison, there was a chance that my poison might even reach the same level as Samael's Poison.

The only downside was the inevitable Dragonification, but I held hope I'd be able to find a way to stop that. Or maybe not, after all Ophis could turn into a human form, so could other Dragons in the 100 Year Quest story, why shouldn't I be able to do the same.

All my thoughts ceased when I saw the next item I'd rolled.

Companion Gem – Irene Belserion (Young) (Legendary)

I sucked in a deep breath as my eyes widened in pure shock.

Irene Belserion. The mother of all Dragon Slayers, the originator of what would become the foundation of Natsu's power. This was perhaps one of the most insane pulls I could have gotten.

I quickly opened up my Inventory, checking the Item's Description.

Companion Gem – Irene Belserion (Young) – Legendary
A Gem that will summon forth an alternate version of a Young Irene Belserion. This version of Irene died in battle against Acnologia alongside the Dragon that helped her create Dragon Slaying Magic. As a result, this is a version of Irene from before the Dragonification has begun, and before she has gotten pregnant with Erza Scarlet.

Okay… It might not be the exact same Irene, but she was still incredibly powerful. After all, she was a Sage Dragon Slayer, which had the feature of amplifying magic or magic power to absurd levels, which was basically akin to Ddraig.

I couldn't exactly summon her out here though, so I decided to hold off on that. Instead, I brought out the two skill orbs I obtained and checked them out.

Skill Orb – Charisma (Rare)
A skill orb containing the Skill 'Charisma.' Starts at common rarity.

Skill Orb – Venom Dragon Slayer Magic (Epic)
A skill orb containing Skills associated with 'Venom Dragon Slayer Magic.' Starts at Uncommon Rarity.

I took a deep breath before I squeezed enough to break both orbs in my hands. The shards turned into pure light that surged into my body, a shudder rushing through my spine.

Skill Obtained: Charisma

Skill Obtained: Poison Magic Proficiency

Skill Obtained: Poison Resistance

Skill Obtained: Venom Dragon Slayer Magic

Due to obtaining a magic-based skill your MP has unlocked, and you can now use magic.

I smiled eagerly as I opened up my skill tab to check out my new skills. Conveniently, all my new skills were sitting right at the top for me to check out.

Charisma – Level 1 – Common
A skill that represents the user's charm and naturally speaking ability. The higher the level/rarity of this skill, the more charming and compelling a speaker the user becomes.

+1% chance to charm women upon them seeing your face.

+.5% chance to convince someone with one of your speeches.

Poison Magic Proficiency – Level 1 – Uncommon
A skill that represents the user's ability to use poison based magic.

+10% extra damage to any poison based magic

-1% cost to any poison based magic

Poison Resistance – Level 1 – Uncommon
A skill that grants the represents how well the user is able to resist poison.

Immunity to any poison up to the rank of this skill and below.

+40% resistance to any poison above the rank of this skill

-50% poison duration

Venom Dragon Slayer Magic – Level 1 – Uncommon
The Magic of Dragons that is used to kill them, an ancient and lost form of magic. Allows the user free access to Venom Dragon Slayer Magic.

User obtains the ability to eat poison of a lower rarity than this skill and convert it into MP.

Deal [(MP cost/5) + (INT * 2)] Damage

+100% extra damage to 'Dragon' enemies

+10% chance to poison per hit

Poison Damage = INT + WIS every 5 seconds

Poison Duration = MP Cost x 12

I gave a low whistle as I saw all my new skills. The poison resistance and Venom Dragon Slayer Magic skills were definitely the most immediately useful skills to me.

Venom dragon was somewhat weak at the moment, but it could only grow stronger with my stats. If I used 10 MP for an attack, then I would currently deal about 16 points of damage… Oh wait, 17.6, 18 if it rounded up thanks to my poison magic proficiency.

I blinked as I realised something important. "Hey, Rhea?"

Yes, Tony?

"What about MP and HP regeneration? How do those work?"

I left those out? My apologies, I didn't mean to. Your HP regen is equal to your VIT x2 per minute, while your MP Regen is equal to your WIS x5 per minute. So, currently, your HP regenerates 24 every minute, while your MP recovers 45 every minute.

That was kind of crazy, that meant my MP was recovering almost half of my current MP.

Luckily, I had stat points to spend.

I opened up my stats page and began to think. I had 30 stat points to allocate. First, I would focus on bringing all my stats up to 10.

Name: Antonio Bianchi
Race: Human
Title: None
Level: 7
HP: 120/120 [24 per minute]
MP: 100/100 [50 per minute]
STR: 10
VIT: 12
INT: 10
WIS: 10
DEX: 10
LUK: 10

Stat Points: 15

That left me with 15 points to use as I liked. Strength could be raised with training, so could Dexterity. INT and WIS would be harder to raise up, and probably my VIT to. So, with that in mind, I put 3 points in VIT, 5 in INT, and 7 in WIS.

HP: 150/150 [30 per minute]
MP: 150/150 [95 per minute]
STR: 10
VIT: 15
INT: 15
WIS: 17
DEX: 10
LUK: 10

I nodded in satisfaction as I looked at my newly buffed up stats, feeling much more comfortable. Now my Dragon Slaying magic would do at least 33 points of damage, and up to a current maximum of 66 including my poison magic proficiency. And my magic would be back in just two minutes thanks to my WIS stat.

I believe you have made a good choice in preparing yourself for the future. Are you ready to receive your first quest?

I hesitated, before I nodded. "Yes, I'm ready."

Main Quest Assigned! [Become Supernatural]!

Main Quest: Become Supernatural
You were Isekai'd into a dangerous world with no powers, and were attacked by a stray devil, almost dying in the process. But fate smiled upon you and, not only did you survive, but you also obtained a powerful gamer system. Now, it is time for you to join the greater world that has been hidden from you.

Objectives
-Reach Level 20
-Increase all your stats to 20 or higher

Split Objective
-Join the Church
-Join Grigori
-Join the Devils
-Join the Hero Faction
-Join Vali's Team
-Join Old Satans
-Join the Norse
-Join the Egyptians
-Join the Greeks
-Join the Khaos Brigade

And on went the 'split' objectives, making my gaze swim… Wow, the system was really giving me complete and total control over my future with this, giving me so many options. I really appreciated it, actually, free will was nice to have.

With that in mind, I accepted the quest, and stripped down, heading into the shower to actually wash up, a smile on my face.

For fourteen years I'd lamented the fact I'd had no powers and wasn't supernatural.

And now, I could finally live the life I wanted in this world. I'd do my best to make the most of it.

Will be trying to put these out weekly, every Tuesday, rather than rapid firing whenever I finish a chapter.
