Notes: Valentine's Day drabble for Hex
At the sound of bare feet padding over the tiled floor, Quatre slowly looked up from where he'd been staring at the envelope with the two concert tickets, eyes still wide with surprise. The steps had stopped, and Quatre noticed Wufei standing in the door, leaning his head against the smooth wooden frame, hair loose and still damp from the shower.
"You surprised me," Quatre stated as calmly as he could.
A slow smile spread over Wufei's features, so smug that Quatre wasn't sure whether he wanted to punch or kiss the grin off his lover's face.
Maybe the latter. It was Valentine's Day, after all.
