God's Game – The First Inheritor
Summary: I was hyped when I learned I was getting Isekai'd, wondering what cool power I'd get to help me fuck shit up. Instead, I ended up an orphan in Italy, with no powers of my own to help me survive in the world of Devils, Angels, and Tits… But just because I wasn't sent to the world with power, doesn't mean I could obtain it after. 'Welcome to the Game.' SI/Gamer OC

I breathed heavily as I lay on the ground after another intense training session with Irene. With this training, plus the 3 points in all my physical stats I got from the daily quest, my lowest stat was currently my strength at 57.
It had been about a day since Irina and Xenovia had seen me, and I'd obtained Avalon. My daily quest that day was a studying quest, which gave me a common token and 4 INT with 3 WIS. Today, Irene decided that I could use some more training
Training might be hellish, but Irene was an amazing teacher. Brutal, but amazing. Flames of Earth didn't level up as much just because I didn't get much opportunity to use them, and I was still figuring them out myself.
It had been very satisfying to see the look of surprise on her face when I hit her with Holy Magic instead of my usual poison magic. Though my satisfaction quickly gave way to horror and fear when she gave me a sadistic smile, and I knew I'd made a mistake.
Sadly, while Irene knew how to use a sword, she admitted that she didn't know how to manage her physical strength terribly well in combat with a sword, so we decided it was safer if I practised on my own, or I used it on enemies instead.
"You're healing is faster today than usual," Irene noted. "On top of that, you used Holy Magic, you weren't using that before."
"I just… Picked it up," I told her, breathing heavily. Even with the enhanced healing and the enhanced stamina recharge, training was still rough as hell.
"You just picked it up?" She raised an eye, before she tilted her head. "Well, I suppose it isn't impossible. I pick up magics rather quickly myself, and there's every chance you train a fair amount whenever I'm in my workshop," she nodded, rationalising it in her own head and saving me the time explaining.
+5 Affection with Irene Belserion (30/100) for your dedication to learning magic
"Yeah… I wanna get stronger… After all," I told her, slowly regaining my breath.
"And your faster healing?"
"I have a conceptual holy artifact within my body," I told her. "It increases my healing. The reason it wasn't working last time is because I didn't have enough magic energy to supply to it to make it work, but I do now."
She hummed and nodded. "Yes, healing artifacts do require a substantial amount of magic energy, and your own reserves are coming along nicely."
I know she meant it genuinely, but it felt mocking given her own reserves were over 20x the size of mine, nearing 30x.
"Means a lot to hear that," I told her, slowly sitting up. "I've still got a long way to go though, lots of training to be done." A lot of training was needed if I wanted to come out the other side of the Supernatural World in one piece.
'Rhea, can you slap the 10 stat points I just got into LUK for me?'
Ping!
'Thank you.'
With that, my LUK was now sitting at 90. 10 more points, and Nidai Kitetsu could be used safely, and then I could get to work on using One-Sword Style. Maybe mixing it with Holy Magic, my Flames, or my Venom Dragon Slayer Magic? So much experimentation to be done!
"And those flames you used," Irene spoke up, drawing my attention back to her. "I've never seen flames like that before, they weren't magic. What were they?"
"They're called Dying Will Flames," I told her, lifting my hand and opening my palm. I concentrated, before flames with a yellow gore that faded into reddish-brown outlines burned to life in my hand.
"Fascinating," she murmured as she came closer, observing them with a keen eye.
"There are 15 types of dying will flame," I told her. "Seven Flames of the Sky, Seven Flames of the Earth, and the Flame of Night. Among the flames, Sky and Earth Flames are considered the rarest. They come from another world that isn't yours nor mine."
Her eyes lit up. "Another world, you say? How fascinating, what is it like there?"
"I'll tell you later," I promised her. "Anyway, Dying Will Flames are a form of high-density energy made from one's own life force. Using it doesn't shorten the lifespan, so don't worry about that." After all, Vongola Nono used these flames presumably fairly regularly, and he lived to be an old man. "It's similar to a battle aura, but it's similar to real flames and each possess their own characteristics and properties. You can determine how powerful a flame is from their 'purity,' how clear the flame is- or in the case of the lightning flame how 'Sharp' it is. As you can see, I only recently unlocked my flames because they're almost completely opaque."
"Fascinating," she murmured, looking at the flame from all angles. "I'll have to write this in my book back in my lab. What characteristic do the Earth Flames carry?"
"The Earth Flame carries the aspect of Gravity. I can increase the power I have and increase the effects of gravity. If you ever felt a bit heavier than normal, that was me using the Earth Flame."
"And how would I go about obtaining these flames for myself?" She asked me.
"I honestly don't know," I told her. "They're called Dying Will Flames because they're all about your will. Your will to follow through with your ambitions, even unto Death. And when you've found your will, you must 'turn your resolve into flames.'"
"Turn my resolve into flames?" She asked, tilting her head.
"Yeah, it's kind of vague," I shrugged, watching as she lifted her hand and looked at it. "Don't worry if you can't get it-"
FWOOM!
"- right away… Eh?"
My eyes widened in dumb shock as I saw crimson flames blazing in her hands, dark sand swirling around them lazily.
"Oh, this is easier than I thought," she noted, humming as she looked at the flames. "What flames are these?"
I just stared.
"Tony?"
"W- What? O- oh, sorry," I shook my head. "Those are… Storm Flames, and the dark sand you see swirling around are Desert Flames. Storm Flames are part of the Sky Set, and Desert are part of the Earth Set. Storm Flames have the characteristic of Disintegration, while Desert Flames are Hallucination."
"Oh? How very interesting," she nodded, eyeing her flames curiously.
"You might want to learn how to differentiate between the two flames and call them up separately," I told her. "At least to start. Flames don't really blend well unless you've gotten some training in, plus Hallucinations and Disintegrations as concepts don't exactly mix all that well."
She hummed softly at my words. "Understood, thank you for the advice," she gave me a pretty smile that made a blush come to my cheeks. "Oh?" A teasing smirk came to her face. "Is my new little brother getting all flustered from his big sister?"
"Big sister?" I questioned.
"I adopted you as my younger brother rather than as my son," she explained. "I'm a bit too young to have children, so I thought adopting you as my little brother was more fitting."
"Oh," I blinked.
"Should I not have done that?"
"No, no," I shook my head. "That's fine, just…"
What are you doing step-bro?
We can't do this, we're related!
Not by blood.
"…My dreams are going to be very uncomfortable for the next few days."
She frowned in confusion, not seeming to know what I was getting at.
"Don't worry about it," I shook my head. "Anyway, Desert Flames are limited by your imagination, and the strength of your flames. The more imaginative you are, the better they'll be. If you train hard enough, you can even make your illusions real, to the point you'd be able to replace lost organs in people, though it would require almost constant effort from you in order to make sure they stay."
Her eyes widened, and she looked at the dark sand with a thoughtful expression on her face, having clearly thought it would only mess with the mind. But the idea it would be able to make illusions real? That likely made the Desert Flame far more valuable to her.
"As for Storm Flames, I can't really help you there at all," he told her. "It's Disintegration for a reason, easily one of the more dangerous Dying Will Flames. My advice is look for more durable items and try to destroy them."
"Thank you for the advice," she gave me another pretty smile, making me look away with my blush returning in full force. "Oh, you look so cute when you're all embarrassed," she laughed softly.
I guessed my affection with Irene was now high enough to the point that she felt okay teasing me rather than being as formal and serious as she'd been with me since I'd brought her to this world, which I was grateful for.
"Thank you."
"Huh?" I slowly turned my gaze to her.
"I was just thinking back, and I never really said thank you for summoning me to this world, giving me a second chance at living. There's so much in this world I'd have never thought possible, so many possibilities, new things to learn and… Freedom. Freedom from a lot of responsibilities I had back as a princess. And despite the wars present in this world, at least there are no dragons rampaging and causing so much death and destruction. So… Thank you, Tony."
I stared at her in surprise, I wasn't expecting something like that… At least, not so soon. I did imagine something like this might happen at some point, but at only thirty affection?
… Then again, thinking back, Irene as a young girl didn't really have many friends to my knowledge. The Princess of a Kingdom, put in a political marriage to protect her country and end disputes. Even though she believed in Human-Dragon coexistence, she lives in a hellish era where many dragons- like the Jade Dragon Zirconis- saw humans as nothing more than food and relished in killing them.
"I don't think there's a need to thank me," I told her. "I helped you for mostly selfish reasons. You're strong, way stronger than me, and I wanted your strength to help me in this world. But I'm glad I summoned you to this world, because I like spending time with you. Even if all we've talked is business and been serious, I enjoy talking to you. And I enjoy sparring with you, even if you're a slave driving teacher. Watching your world and seeing what you've been through, I always considered your story to be one of tragedy. So, even though I summoned you here for selfish reasons, I'm happy that you're starting to find your own happiness here, and that I was able to give you another chance, because I care about you. So, thank you, and you're welcome."
+10 Affection with Irene Belserion (40/100) for being honest with her about your intentions, and for caring about her.
She smiled warmly at me and dusted her clothes off. "I'm going to go out and do a bit of shopping," she told me.
"Ah, before you go, how long will it take to finish enchanting my coat?"
"I should have it done before our raid on the next base."
"Okay, thank you," I smiled at her. "Have fun with your shopping."
She gave a nod and made her way upstairs, out of the training room. My eyes couldn't help but drift to her hips, my tongue flicking across my lips as my eyes stared at that round rear of hers. Her hips weren't swaying at all, but I was still staring. 'Fuck…'
You're staring a bit too hard there, Tony. It wouldn't surprise me if she could feel it.
'Not even mad if she realises I'm staring,' I responded to Rhea, Irene was a beautiful woman. While Erza beautiful in a warrior type of way, Irene held a serene beauty and kindness that made her very approachable.
I watched until Irene vanished up the stairs, before I stretched and lay flat on the ground, just enjoying the tranquillity of being alone for the time being.
Because I knew it wouldn't last.
~~God's Game~~
A warning has been issued.
You are about to enter a Dungeon. The minimum recommended level for this Dungeon is 25. Once you enter the dungeon, you will not be able to leave unless you clear the dungeon or use a Return Stone. Please bring all allies into the dungeon with you, or they will not be able to enter until you clear the dungeon, use a return stone, or die.
"This is it," I told Irene, dressed in my now enchanted Organization XIII coat, my Hollow Mask sitting on my face. With the hood up, it was impossible to make out any of my features, something that would definitely become useful in the future.
Thanks to Irene's enchantments, the coat was more durable, and provided a minor boost in both DEX and STR- 10 in DEX, 5 in STR- and also acted as armour to a small extent, which meant I'd be taking less damage if I ever took a brutal hit like last time.
"Yes… It's faint, but I can definitely feel some magic from this place," Irene agreed with her own distorted voice. "If you didn't bring me here, I don't think I'd ever notice."
She was dressed in her own Organization XIII coat, having decided to replicate mine and use it for herself since it covered up rather well, and the mask made it impossible to see her face- which was what we wanted here. We were going to go for being anonymous, unknown.
"How did you find this place?"
"I have the particular skill to divine locations with relative ease," I told her. "But the type of locations I can divine are limited, the bases of Inimicus Dei fall into the limited divination I can perform. I also get a general feel for the 'power level' of the location, we should be fine."
She gave a nod, ready to go in before I stopped her. "What?"
"Once we enter, a barrier is going to be placed around this place," I told her. "We won't be able to leave until we clear it out, but in exchange nobody will be able to enter either. It's a sort of death match barrier, we go in and either we're the only ones to come out, or we die."
I heard her take a deep breath before she gave another firm nod. "Last thing. Before we go in, we need code names- just in case they have some kind of recording devices."
She considered that before she agreed. "I'll be Enchant."
"Then I will be Zangetsu."
With our names decided, we stepped in through the front door.
A warning has been issued.
Due to the level difference between the user and his companion, EXP will not be shared.
I barely stopped myself from nodding. That made sense, otherwise, it would just be easy for me to lean back and let Irene handle everything. The System- despite being here to help me as Rhea said- had to follow certain rules, and it couldn't just hand me absolutely everything on a silver platter. I still had to put in some work.
"Let's go to work," I told her. "Leave nobody alive."
She nodded in agreement, and we both dashed in. My hands morphed into dragon claws, my mind obtaining a sense of calm as Intersect of Yin and Yang activated. My empathy muted, and we quickly came upon a group of exorcists.
I didn't even give them a chance to react as my claws were coated in my Earth Flames and I tore their throats out.
They yelled in shock, but they were swiftly beheaded by the Exorcist Blade Irene held in her hand. I had so many of them, it was a simple matter to take one out and hand it over to her, It would make this more efficient, simpler.
We both gave each other a sharp nod before we split up, her going down one hallway, me going down the other way. I brought an Exorcist Blade out of my inventory.
'Requirements cleared…! Time to test this out!'
"Hey, stop there!" An exorcist yelled as another group entered my view.
"One-Sword Style…"
A purple miasma covered my blade as I prompted my poisonous magic to coat the blade of light, the flames of earth blending in and making the blade take on a more orange appearance.
"Venom Blitz!"
I watched as every exorcist stumbled from the Flame of Earth's Gravity- now up to 2x at Level 5- bore down on them. It wouldn't stop them, but it did startle and stumble them.
And I used that moment to strike, driving my sword through their chests, cutting off their heads, driving it through their skulls, stomachs, all with incredible speed.
They all lay dead in a mere five seconds, and I continued on without pausing.
Another group of enemies appeared to my left, aiming their guns.
"One-Sword Style: 36 Pound Phoenix!"
I jumped and twisted my body in mid-air, barely dodging their bullets, before I swung my sword and body down with a huge amount of force, unleashing a vicious spiralling shockwave straight towards the group that made them crash into the wall.
I blitzed forwards, my flame covered claws ripping out throats, as my sword stabbed through hearts.
My ears picked up a noise behind me and I whirled around, dodging to the side as a sword passed by where I was moments before, and my clawed hand lashed around the person's throat.
"Please!" They cried out. "Don't-!"
"Holy Eraser."
A pillar of light covered their body, and my hand lost its grip as not even ashes were left behind.
It became a massacre as I used everything at my disposal to just kill. Venom, Light, Gravity, Sword, it all came together in a hauntingly beautiful symphony of death.
All the death and killing blended together as I lost track of time as my only focus was on killing my enemies and surviving.
I don't know how long passed until I made it to the other side of the building, where Irene was waiting for me, arms crossed under her chest.
"Took you long enough."
"We can't all be- pant- as strong as you."
With how much work I'd put into fighting, I was feeling exhausted, though Avalon was healing me up quickly.
"Need a moment to take a breath?" She asked, tilting her head.
"Avalon will have me- pant- back to full in a minute," I told her, taking a deep breath before exhaling.
She gave a nod, keeping her guard up and scanning the area for any enemies that might be looking for a sneak attack.
'Rhea, have I gone up any levels?'
Two.
'Invest all 10 points into LUK.'
Ping!
Perfect.
I sent my exorcist blade into my inventory, before I took out the sheathed Nidai Kitetsu. Instantly, I saw Irene's guard rise.
"What is that? It feels… Evil, wrong."
"It's a Meito, a cursed blade. If your Luck isn't strong enough to resist the curse, you'll inevitably meet your death. But I'm very lucky, this blade won't hurt me- I promise you that."
I could feel her weariness, but she finally nodded. With that settled, I looked over to the set of double doors that no doubt led to the 'boss' of the dungeon.
"I want you to let me handle the final enemy," I told her. "As I am now, they won't be able to kill me- I promise that. But I want to deal with them myself, can you promise me you'll only step in if you think my life is in danger?"
She was silent before she sighed. "Very well. Better do it now than against a more dangerous enemy."
I nodded. "Then let's go!"
We walked forwards and I kicked the doors hard enough that they flied off the hinges and crashed into the opposing wall.
We made our way into the room and looked around. It was huge… Some kind of conference room, likely to deliver messages to everyone or to hold large meetings for gatherings.
"So, you're the snakes that have been interfering with us," a voice sneered, making us snap our gaze over to where a tall man was stood, holding a sword that once again struck somewhat familiar to me. His hair was black, eyes green as he glared at us.
"And you're a member of Inimicus Dei," I responded, stepping forward. "We're here to kill you."
"Heh, you'll try," he smirked, lifting up the sword. "Let's see how you deal with my Galatine!"
My eyes widened behind the mask. That was why the sword was familiar, it was Galatine! Not from the Fate series, but the DxD version of Galatine! But I thought the church was in possession of… No, this wasn't the canon universe, I had to be open to the idea that my knowledge wasn't infallible.
"That's nice," I feigned disinterest. "Let's see how it fairs against my Nidai Kitetsu."
No more words were spoken as he roared and charged towards us. Irene dodged to the left, while I dodged to the right, the blade slamming onto the ground where the both of us had stood and leaving a sizable crater in the ground.
I held out a hand, increasing the gravity around him to try and restrain him for an easy kill. It wasn't so easy this time as, while the ground did cave around him, he only grit his teeth and glared at me.
"You must have Gravity Jail as a Sacred Gear!" He declared confidently, mistaking my power. "A little extra weight won't bother me!" He snarled as he charged through and out of the gravity field, swinging his sword at me again.
This time, I rapidly drew my blade and stopped his swing. I struggled a bit- his strength stat was clearly more than mine- but I held my ground firmly.
"Tch…! For such a little guy, you sure have a lot of strength!"
My eye twitched behind my mask… My venomous magic flooded over my blade, along with my flames of Earth. I knew I was 5'3, but that was average for my age, damn it!
"What the hell-!?"
"I'm average height for my age you fuck!" I snarled as I lashed out with a fist, giving him a gravity enhanced punch.
His eyes widened and he doubled over, coughing up blood from the force of the blow- his grip slacking on his blade.
I didn't hesitate to bat the sword aside and lift my own sword above my head. "One-Sword Style-!"
"Stop, don't-!"
"Splitting Heavens!"
I swung straight down.
And with it, the body split too- straight down the middle, blood and organs spilling out onto the floor as my coat and mask were both covered in an excessive amount of blood- though luckily none got in my eye.
You have successfully cleared the dungeon.
I took a deep breath and stumbled away from the body, before sitting on the ground. I didn't de-activate Intersect of Yin and Yang yet, I didn't want to throw up or remove the mask quite yet.
"He was the last one," I told Irene confidently.
She nodded. "Yes, I can't sense any more in the building… But I sense a lot of people outside."
"The church investigating the huge amount of magic," I told her. "Suppress our magic please, and then teleport us home."
She nodded and wrapped an arm around me. Instantly, I received the 'Suppression' status condition again, and a magic circle flared to life under us before we vanished from the building, re-appearing down in the training room of the house.
"Blood?" I asked her.
"Blood." She confirmed.
Yeah, getting the training room bloody was fine. The house? Not so much, that shit would take forever to clean out.
I lowered my hood and pulled off my mask, finally de-activating my skill. Instantly, I felt the weight of what I had done once again hit me, falling to my knees and dry-heaving as Irene crouched down and rubbed my back.
But this time, I didn't throw up. I dry-heaved and felt like crap, but I didn't throw up this time.
Once you killed enough, I suppose you started to get used to it. While it wasn't healthy, I would likely reach the point that one day I wouldn't need to use Intersect of Yin and Yang in order to be able to kill without issue.
A sad reality, but a real one.
I finally took a deep breath, rolling over to sit on the ground. I looked up at Irene. "… Water… Please…"
She nodded, removing her own mask and coat and hurrying up the stairs to get me something to drink.
While she did that, I checked out my rewards.

I took a breath as I looked at the rewards, with what caught my attention the most being the fact that my race had changed to Dragon-Blooded, just like Irene, and the monster buff that my HP and MP just got, quickly bringing up my status.

Damn… My HP and MP weren't even breaking a thousand, and now my MP was at 3k, and my HP was at 2.5k. Yeah, I was definitely leaning towards becoming a Dragon and just learning transformation magic if these were the kind of beefy buffs I got.
The only thing I was weary of was Samael's Poison, but even that wouldn't be a problem. If I had to guess, Samael's Poison would definitely be considered Godly Tiered Poison. That meant if I got my Venom Dragon Slaying Magic to Level 100, that would hopefully make it Godly Tier. Do the same with Poison Magic Resistance, and I would be the one dragon in the world immune to Samael's poison.
The next thing to catch my eye was the Galatine (Fake) and I brought it up.
Galatine (Fake) (Rare)
A copy of the Holy Sword Galatine, made by Inimicus Dei. Still a Holy Sword carrying an aura, but one that isn't even 1/10th of the original.
Deals (STR * 1.5) Damage
Then somehow that grunt I faced in the dungeon before this one must have been holding the actual Galatine, that would explain why the person who attacked me was so determined to make sure I didn't get it. I didn't know why they had it, but it was the only thing that made sense. A fake wouldn't have been as big of an issue.
Those documents I ended up with would likely be important too, I'd have to read up on them later.
Now, to open the chest…
Opening Dungeon Chest…
Item Obtained - Gale Force Reading Glasses (Uncommon)
Ah, I knew those. From the Fairy Tail Universe, the glasses that let the user ready at a rapid pace. Those would be useful if I ever got stuck doing paperwork and needed to read everything to make sure that there were no loopholes.

Skill Orb – Gale Dragon Slayer Magic (Fairy Tail) (Epic)
Item – Gura Gura no Mi (One Piece) (Legendary)
Blessed by the rolls from the Gacha Gods!
Another type of Dragon Slayer Magic, and the strongest Paramecia Devil Fruit? My rolls were too fucking fire man, what the hell!?
Though I decided not to use them. The trade off of not being able to swim was a bit too much for me, purely because I liked swimming. If I found a way to modify the fruit somehow and remove the 'Sea Devil's Curse,' then I'd absolutely eat it. But until then, not for me.
Meanwhile, Gale Dragon Slayer Magic did sound nice on paper, but I'd rather become a pure Venom Dragon before I started adding Slayer Magics. On top of that, Gale Dragon Slayer and Venom Dragon Slayer didn't really seem to synergise all that well? Maybe I was being naïve or stupid, but I wasn't really a fan of becoming a 'Gale Venom Dragon Slayer' or 'Venom Gale Dragon Slayer.'
Still, good rolls overall, very much worth.

Skill Orb – Moon Dragon Slayer Magic (Legendary)
Minor Bottle of Poison (Uncommon)
Minor Potion of Restoration (Skyrim) (Uncommon)
Minor Potion of Mana (Skyrim) (Uncommon)
Now this? This is what I expect out of my Gacha, some relatively poor roles…
Or it would be if Moon Dragon Slayer Magic wasn't in the fucking lot!
Moon Dragon Slayer Magic was the magic used by one of the Five Dragon Gods in the Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest Arc. And, as seen in the manga, it was one hell of a powerful magic.
I know I said I'd rather be a pure Venom Dragon moments ago, but I'd be a fucking Venom Moon Dragon!
… But I held back.
As cool as it would be, I really liked the aesthetics of my purple scales, and I didn't wanna mess it up by adding onto that. If I changed after obtaining the slayer magic, that was fine. But I'd rather have a full transformation into Venom Dragon before then.
Part of me told me that not doing it for something so mundane as that was a stupid move, that more power was exactly what I needed if I wanted to make sure I stayed alive. But I restrained myself and kept the orb in my inventory.
Though I was still hoping to roll transformation magic. I'd buy it if I had to, it was a fairly common magic within Fairy Tail so it should hopefully be fairly cheap if it came to that.
I heard footsteps and looked up to see Irene coming back down the stairs. I stored my coat, mask, and Nidai Kitetsu into my inventory, leaving only my hands bloody from all the people I'd killed with my bare hands.
She handed me a damp cloth first, which I used to clean the blood from my hands, before handing me the water.
"Thank you," I told her softly, lifting the water to my lips.
"It wasn't a problem at all," she told me. "Did you find anything?"
"Yeah," I nodded. "I picked up three documents. I didn't have a chance to go through them, but we should hopefully find out something by reading them."
She gave a nod. "We'll go over them later then," she agreed. "Are you okay? I know you've done this before, but I imagine it doesn't get any easier."
"It does," I told her. "Threw up the last two times, this time I just dry-heaved… It doesn't mean I like that it gets easier, but if it gets easier then it just happens. I don't want to get used to killing, but we're not left with much choice…"
She took a deep breath and nodded in understanding of my words, clearly having gone through something similar herself- though not on my level. She grew up in a world of blood and death, I didn't.
"Can you hold me?" I asked her quietly.
She didn't hesitate to sit beside me and pull me into a side hug, rubbing my back without saying a world.
I closed my eyes as we sat there together, enjoying the silence.
Three bases down. Three more to go until Inimicus Dei was done, and we would reveal ourselves to the Supernatural World.
