Summary: Yuuri has lost something, but Wolfram can't figure out what.
Wolfram frowned when he saw the unhappy look on Yuuri's face, who was frantically searching through his pockets. "What's wrong now?" There was a hint of exasperation in Wolfram's voice. Yuuri had just come back, in the usual flashy fashion, soaked from head to toe, and Wolfram was worried that Yuuri would catch a cold. Not that he would ever admit that.
Yuuri's voice was even unhappier than he looked. "I think I lost it."
"You lost what?" Wolfram rolled his eyes.
He almost regretted his impatient tone when he saw Yuuri's shoulders slump, and the young maou wouldn't meet his eyes. What was it that Yuuri had lost that could make him so upset? A sting of jealousy pierced his stomach, but for once he managed to keep his temper under control. He needed to get Yuuri home and into dry clothes as soon as possible.
"Well, it is Valentine's Day on Earth, and I thought I..." Yuuri trailed off.
"I have no idea what you're talking about. We need to get you to back to the castle now. I'm sure the others are already waiting." With those words Wolfram dragged Yuuri over to his horse, urging him to get on first, then climbed up behind the young maou. He grabbed the reigns and slid an arm around Yuuri's waist to keep him from slipping.
As Yuuri silently leaned back into him without complaint, the wet clothing slowly soaking Wolfram's own, the blond suddenly had the nagging feeling that he had missed something important.
Maybe he should ask Conrad about this Valentine's Day thing when he got home.
