The Star

(Author's Note: This story takes place seven years after Together Again. Odd and Laura is married. Ulrich and Yumi are married, and they have a little boy. Jeremy and Aelita are married, and they have a boy and a girl. They all live together. NO FLAMES PLEASE! )
A small girl ran down a dark hallway. She was trying to out run the darkness, but the darkness kept catching up to her. The little girl trips, and she is swallowed by the darkness.

The little wakes up, and she gets out of the bed. She had tears in her eyes. She was only five years old. She walked to her parents' room. Her father wasn't in the room, but her mother was sitting on her bench. The little girl walked up to her mother.
"What the matter, Annie?" Laura asked.
"I had a scary dream."
"Come and tell me all about it." Annie climbed onto Laura's lap.
"Well, I'm running down a dark hallway. I was trying to out run the darkness that followed me, but I tripped, and it swallowed me. Is really true there is a monster of darkness?"
"Annie, listen to me. Inside us all, there is a star."
"A star?"
"Yes, a star that shines to keep the darkness away. Light and darkness are next to one another. If you show that you are scare, the darkness will try to take over the light. You must never let the darkness take over the light. Never lose love."
"I promise I won't let the darkness take over."
"That is my girl. Now back to bed." Laura said as she putted little Annie on the floor. Annie started to walk to her room, but she stopped, and she turned to face her mother.
"Thanks mommy." Annie said as he turned back to her room. Annie walked out of the room. Odd came out of the bathroom with a towel on his head.
"What is that all about?" Odd said as he walked over to Laura.
"Little Annie had a nightmare."
"What about?"
"Darkness, but I told her that we all have a star in us."
"A star?"
"Yes, a star that give us the power to destroy the evil in our hearts."
"This is what I love about you. You are kind, caring, and a very special person."
"I love you."
"I love you, too."
