I let out a small grunt as a tracker is placed into my arm and it's a little creepy seeing it light up under my skin for a moment before it dims back out. That stung a little bit more than I expected but with that now out of the way, it's time to take in the surroundings as we're now on our way to the arena where the fun will commence. I can't help but look across from me and see the busty deaf girl sitting right across from me with her little knight in rusting armor nowhere to be found, he must've been placed on a different heli.
I can see how nervous and terrified she is as she tries her best not to look at me but she knows I'm here and I will certainly make my presence known when we're in the arena together. Such a shame that I have to kill her, such a fine and well developed lady she is and it's such a waste, but I need to teach her punk boyfriend a lesson and with Hunter backing me up, I'm practically untouchable. She looks at me for a split second and I make sure to blow her a kiss which seems to unnerve her even more. Don't worry sweet cheeks, you and your boyfriend will be seeing each other in the afterlife soon enough!

"Owww!" I cry out in pain after a tracker is injected into my arm, I'm of course exaggerating to continue my act and I literally have to force myself to make my eyes water.
"What a cry baby…" the peacekeeper mumbles to himself before going off to inject a tracker into another tribute's arm. I've managed to keep a pretty low key profile for the most part and that works in my favor of course. So far everyone probably thinks I'm a weak and desperate girl and most of them won't pay me any mind. There may be a few who thinks they can target me for an "easy kill" but I won't hold back on them if they decide to do that, if it comes down to it, I'll kill any and everyone as brutally as I have to. I think of life at home, wondering if things can ever be normal again, if maybe me and Paula can start a new chapter but I shake that thought out my head. There's 23 other people I need to get through and that needs to be my focus right now.
I wipe some of the crocodile tears from my eyes and look around the heli, for some reason most of the careers are on here with me, District 1 and 2, most of them are paying me no mind but Blyana is only shaking her head mumbling comments, I look on the far end of the heli however and see the girl from district 3 is there staring at me with an ominous grin and her eyes just refuse to look away from me, how long was she staring at me? I look at her for a moment but her grin slowly grows wider and wider until she lets out a creepy chuckle and I turn away from her, that look she's giving me…it looks like this plan didn't go off without a hitch after all and it's ofcourse one of the most dangerous tributes here I managed to get the attention of. Ok I get it Emmerane, it's a fight you want, but you better be ready to come at me with everything you've got.
Hayden Topper,17, District 6 male
An injector is placed into my arm and I mostly dismiss the sting looking around the heli and seeing neither Paisley or Dio are here, dammit. I just hope she's ok and she's not on the same heli as that moron. I clench my fists as I envision that punchable face of his, he's made it no secret that's he's coming right for us but it's not him I'm worried about. Like I said before, my father made sure to teach me some self defense techniques and I'm confident I can hold my own against Dio, but it's his "partner" that has me a little nervous. Hunter, the guy is at least four times my size, he even makes the careers look puny and that's why I can't waste my time fighting Dio. If Hunter closes in on me...it's over. I need to find Paisley and get away from the cornucopia as quickly as possible. Paisley I know you're afraid, I know you're terrified, but just hang in there, I'll find you soon!
Paisley Stitchell,15, District 6 female
I try so hard to pretend Dio isn't sitting right across from me, but I can feel his aura, it's so…malicious. I think of Hayden and just wish he was here sitting next to me, I'll feel so much safer that way, but no, I'm all alone now. I know Dio is going to try and hurt me and Hayden. I've been training with Hayden but Dio also has Hunter with him and that's why we can't afford to get into an altercation with them. Those monsters, they're both monsters and I hope they both get what's coming to them but I need to find Dio and we need to escape from them as quickly as possible. Even if me and Hayden team up together, I know there's no way for us to beat Hunter and that's why the only option is to run…

"Whoa BeauBeau! We both get a seat next to each other!" I cheer aloud as I'm seated next to her but she has a very focused look on her face.
"Uh BeauBeau?" I try to get her attention and she gives me a look of slight irritation.
"Yeah?" she asks.
"Uh, you ok?" I hesitantly ask.
"Why wouldn't I be?" She quickly counters as I remember that fight they had yesterday. I mean sheesh they've been going at it the entire time and now, there's not going to be any peacekeepers or anyone around to break up their fight, it's anything goes in that arena. I know BeauBeau is strong, but this is a career she's going up against, I can't help but be at least a little worried, not to mention Blyana has allies to back her up.
"Well uh…" is all I can really say, I wanted to try and convince her that it's not worth it, to just grab a bag from the cornucopia and make a run for it, but I know there's no stopping her, she'll fight to the bitter end.
"Azazel, don't bother waiting for me, just get out of there as quickly as you can and I'll catch up with you later." she suddenly informs me.
"What? No! We're allies to the end so where ever you go, I go!" I proclaim and she rolls her eyes.
"All you're going to do is get yourself killed, so just take my advice dammit!" she barks at me.
"What about you though? Isn't there a good chance you'll die out there too?" I counter and she scoffs.
"I'm going to settle this Azazel and I won't be able to fight at my best if I have to look out for you too, so just go…please." She gives me a stern look and her voice is much softer this time, almost desperate and I can't help but give her a hesitant look. I thought she was just trying to get rid of me but no, she just wants me to be safe and I'll respect that.
"OK fine, but you better catch up." I state.
"Thank you Azazel and I will." She vows, just stick to your word please BeauBeau…
Beauregard 'Beau' Faran,17, District 7 female
Azazel agreed to stay out of this, good. He shouldn't have to get himself killed following me on my potential one way flight. I know the reality out there, that I can get seriously hurt, or even killed, but that doesn't scare me. I know I'm not going down without the fight of my life and I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure Blyana is under the ground as well a any of her allies that wants to intervene. I've already made it no secret how much I can't stand those careers and the more of them I put down, the better it'd be for me and everyone else. I'm going to do what needs to be done and I'll be at my best, knowing I don't need to look out for anyone out there. Al you're going to witness me do some awful things, but I'm willing to do all of this a hundred time over in order to get back to you!

Now I'm back to envisioning what it's going to be like out there. People are going to die, I might even be one of them but as long as my allies make it out safe, that's all that matters to me. I've just felt so worthless ever since Masie died, I believed I deserved whatever happened to me out there in the arena, and part of me still does but my two allies Genevieve and Acer, I feel like I have a new meaning in life because of them. I will be their shield and even if it costs me my own life, I will make sure they both leave the cornucopia alive. If there's one thing I'd like to do right in my life for once, it's this…

It's almost surreal that we're going to be in the arena soon. I swear it just seems like these last few days just zoomed by and now this is when the chaos truly begins. I'm glad me and my allies managed to keep a relatively low profile. We got a real bloodthirsty cast of tributes this year so maybe we can make a run for it while these other tributes are busy ripping each other's heads off, that'll be wishful thinking though, I know someone is going to decide to mess with us. I take a deep breath however as I think my mother, Mandel and how they're both in the clutches of horrendous beings and j just cannot allow things to be this way, no I have to find a way back and set things straight. Mom and Mandel, I'm not going to let you guys down.
Yay my monthly update streak has finally come to an end and I hope to keep this up! Ok guys this was the second part of the final thoughts and obviously next chapter will be the final part of the final thoughts before the bloodbath commences. Just like in the last story, I want to apologize in advance if any of your character(s) die in the bloodbath, i enjoyed writing all of these characters but unfortunately some of them will be meeting their end very soon.
