Chapter 9: Argument and Transformation!
A/N: I figured I'd update twice since I made you all wait for so long. Also, I goofed in the last chapter and called Kikyo and Kaede sisters - Kikyo is Kaede's Granddaughter so just pretend that the sister says granddaughter. And thanks for the review! Anyways on with the chapter.

"She's my-" Inuyasha started to say again but was interrupted by Kagome's hand stopping just a few centimeters from the front of his face.
"For the love of Kami, Inuyasha, don't be stupid and say it again! I already heard you and I'm five seconds away from snapping, so you better hurry up and tell me how she became your fucking intended!" Kagome shouted as she pointed an accusing finger towards Kikyo.
"Her and her grandmother-" Inuyasha started but was once again interrupted by Kagome.
"You know what? I don't want to fucking know! How could you, Inuyasha?" Kagome asked with tears threatening to escape her eyes. "How could you touch my face like that the other night!? How could you vow to never let anything happen to me when you already have someone else that vow should go towards!? How could you kiss the top of my head like you don't have a fucking intended already!? How could you let me fall in lo-" Kagome stop mid word as she realized what she was about to say and that made the tears run unchecked down her cheeks. Giant sobs left her as her chest burned and she felt as her heart broke in even more pieces. She couldn't love him, she just couldn't! Not after he chose his position in life over her. There's no way she could love him, nope not at all!"
"Kagome." Inuyasha whispered as he raised his hand up to caress her check only to get it smacked away by Kagome.
"Don't fucking touch me, Inuyasha!" Kagome screamed at him.
Inuyasha felt his own heart start to crack. He had never wanted Kagome to find out - shit he didn't even want to marry Kikyo that was one of the reasons that pushed him to leave and become a pirate in the first place. Inuyasha never really could show his feelings well, so his hurt came out as anger as he growled.
"Damn it Kagome! Stop fucking being a bitch and listen to me!" Inuyasha shouted back at Kagome.
"No! Fuck you, Inuyasha! I hope you enjoy your life here with your intended!" Kagome screamed at Inuyasha. "I'm out of here." She whispered as she turned around and gestured for Sango to follow her.
Kagome stomped out of the shack with Sango following her.
"Kagome, are you sure it's a good idea to leave? What about the world?" Sango asked in concern.
Kagome growled and stomped her foot like a five-year-old as tears still poured down her face. "This shit isn't fucking fair! Why do I have to be the only one that's able to save the world!?" She growled as she repeatedly stomped both feet and swung her fists around in a mild temper tantrum.
"Kagome."
Kagome froze her antics as she heard the one voice, she really wasn't ready to hear. "Inuyasha, right now isn't the best time to fuck with me." She growled out.
"But Kagome?" Inuyasha started again but stopped as Kagome's growl became louder as her hair started to dance around her.
"I fucking said leave me the fuck alone, Inuyasha!" Kagome screamed as she turned around to face Inuyasha making both Inuyasha and Sango gasp.
"Kagome, your eyes are completely white!" Sango said shocked.
Inuyasha's jaw dropped as he watched Kagome undergo her transformation. Her eyes were completely white, she had blue stripes coming up from her jaw line and stopping right under her eyes, her fangs and claws were twice as long than normal, and her voice sounded like she had swallowed gravel.
Kagome scoffed. "I don't give a fuck right now!" She growled and refocused her attention back on Inuyasha. "If you are smart you better leave my sight right now!"
"I'm not leave, Kagome! Not without you!" Inuyasha shouted. "I'm sorry that I didn't tell you before, but this is the reason right here that I didn't tell you! I knew you would react this way!"
"Yeah, because me finding out this way is any fucking better! This is the worst possible way that I could find out! And I have to have her as my fucking teacher! Your intended! Do you know how much this hurts me, Inuyasha? Or do you even care?" Kagome yelled out.
"How can you even suggest that I don't care about you!?"
Kagome scoffed once again. "Obviously you don't! Because if you did you would have been a man and told me that you had an intended!"
"How would I even tell you something like that!?" Inuyasha roared. "I couldn't figure out how to say it without getting this reaction right here!"
"Easily! You should've opened your fucking mouth and told me the truth instead of being a scared little boy over my reaction!"
"That is enough!" Inuyasha and Kagome heard a voice in the background, and it made Kagome growl even louder than before.
Inuyasha sighed and rolled his eyes. "You're not making this situation any better Kikyo."
At the sound of the name Kagome snapped completely and lunged at Inuyasha with murderous intent but before she could do any harm to him Kikyo had shot Kagome with a mild does of purification power.
Kagome screamed in pain and fell to the ground panting trying to catch her breath.
"What did you do to her!?" Inuyasha roared as he turned deadly eyes towards Kikyo.
"Oh, relax! I simply hit her with a small dose of purification power to make her transform back into her half demon state." Kikyo replied. "Now, hurry up and get back in the shack, we've got a lot to go over."
"How did you know she was a half demon?" Inuyasha asked.
"I know a lot more about her too, but right now the world is in jeopardy and if we don't get this training underway there won't be any chance of saving it and we all will die. Now, come on and let's get started." Kikyo said as she turned around and started walking back towards the shack.
*BREAK*
Sitting around a circle, Inuyasha sat next to Kikyo who sat next to Kaede who sat next to Kagome who sat next to Sango who sat next to Miroku - Shippo sat on Sango's shoulder. They all could feel the tension as Kagome sent Inuyasha daggers with her eyes as he sat right across from her taking delight as he squirmed uncomfortably.
"Kagome!" Kikyo demanded the young woman's attention.
"What!?" Kagome growled at Kikyo for taking her focus on trying to make Inuyasha as uncomfortable as possible.
"You need to let go of this harbored hatred if you ever desire to acquire the skill to sense the sacred jewel and restore the world!" Kikyo ordered. "If you don't, we all will die!"
Kagome was just about to argue before she heard the small whimper of a small child. Turning her eyes toward Shippo as he sat on Sango's shoulder, she sent one more hate filled look toward Inuyasha before taking a deep breath and letting everything go for now.
Nodding to herself Kagome looked up. "Okay I'm ready. How do I sense the jewel shards?"
Kikyo nodded. "I've learned through visions and dreams to fuse the jewel shards together but don't possess the ability to do it myself. I then searched through the whole of the world through my mind's eye to find the one who I was to teach this ability to. I found you. The only one on this Earth that is able to help and save the world! I was born to be your guide and teacher, Kagome Higurashi - but you need help through your friends. It is with all four of you that the jewel will be restored, and the world rejuvenated. Though this won't be easy and probably will bring more heartache through this process. Are you all okay with that?" She asked looking around the room at each person.
Everyone nodded. "We don't have much of a choice now do we?" Kagome asked with a sigh.
Kikyo nodded and closed her eyes taking in a deep breath through her nose. She kept her eyes closed for a while as a strange feeling crept into Kagome's chest. Kagome brought her hand up to rub her chest and took her eyes off of Kikyo to see the others rubbing at their chests as well.
Taking another deep breath Kikyo opened her eyes and looked around the room taking in the way the ground let out a breath and their hands drop from their chests.
"What was that?" Sango grunted.
"I looked inside of all your hearts and found each of you hiding a secret that's blocking the paths within yourselves from reaching your true power. Each of you will have to let go of this secret to ever hope to accomplish this quest." Kikyo instructed.
"Why do we have to let go of our secrets when Kagome's the one that's supposed to save the world?" Inuyasha wanted to know.
"Because, to help her, you have to be burden free. Secrets and lies creates burdens within you and with this quest you have to be on your toes, or you will die and if you die then we all die." Kikyo answered.
"So, don't die. Noted." Miroku said.
"We'll do whatever it takes." Sango added.
Kikyo looked at Kagome and waited for her que to continue and that came with a quick nod of Kagome's head.
"Okay." Kikyo sighed. "Let's get started.
