Despite all the ore-sama bragging, when it came to it, Tokito was actually quite shy.
Katsuragi found it almost adorable, the way he squirmed behind his tall friend's shoulder, cheeks red and eyes averted.
Kubota was the cheekier one in fact, standing there half-shielding Tokito with a poker face and a hand raised in greeting, "Ah, hello."
Her classmates had been speculating about it all the time, of course, but Katsuragi had believed that when two people went around throwing innuendoes without a care like that, the truth tended to be that nothing of the sort was actually taking place.
She still believed that. This could be a new development.
She saw Matsubara coming from the corner of her eyes, frowned and said, "Would you two stop it with the suggestive conversations already!"
She walked into the room, her back carefully turned to give Tokito time to pull his collar straight.
"The usual, huh?" Matsubara asked with amusement as he stepped in to the normal scene of Kubota seated with a cigarette on one hand and the school newsletter on the other, with Tokito reading over his shoulder.
Katsuragi huffed in affirmation.
She could care less about the gossips, but she couldn't very well change sides on the bet now, so.
