(Hogwarts)

Night has fallen as the Hogwarts Express finally arrives at Hogsmeade Station after it's long journey from King's Cross Station. The station was in a pine wood clearing to the east of the Forbidden Forest. It had a small group of buildings and a larger one for the conductor of the train. Alura, the beautiful Unicorn, watched the train from the edge of the forest clearing as it arrives into the station. She was eager to see the first years. More than that, she was eager to see Devon again and meet the famous Harry Potter. Hagrid was already at the platform, waiting for the train as it comes and slows to a stop on the platform. The half-giant walks up to the train with a lantern in his left-hand for light and he calls out to the students as they step off the train.

"Right, then! First years! This way, please! Come on now! First years, don't be shy! Come on now! Hurry up! Come on!" Hagrid says

Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione exit the train and walk along the platform with the rest of the students. Hagrid saw Devon and Harry and he walks over to greet them.

"Hello, Harry, Devon." Hagrid greets

"Hey, Hagrid." Devon greets

"Hello, Hagrid." Harry greets

"Whoa." Ron says

"Right, then. This way to the boats. Come on now. Follow me." Hagrid says

Hagrid leads the group off the platform and down a path as they head for the edge of the lake to board the boats that would take them to the magic school. Devon looks over at his left and he saw Alura standing at the forest's edge. He smiles and nods to her while she smiles and nods back.

Hagrid, Devon, and the students all sat in a small fleet of little magic boats which sailed by themselves across the smooth waters of the large lake. Each boat held up to four students and a single lantern on a wooden post while Hagrid occupied one boat by himself, leading the group on their journey. Devon sat with Harry, Ron, and Hermione on one boat as they followed behind Hagrid's boat.

Up ahead on the other side of the lake was their destination. It was an amazing, breath-taking sight to behold. The large, majestic castle of Hogwarts sat upon huge rocks above the lake, glowing with lights from torches on the outside and inside, giving the school a magical atmosphere.

Eventually, the boats reach an underground harbor under the castle where Devon and the students disembark. They go up along a passageway to the gates of the castle and they head through the front doors. Devon was at the front of the group with Harry, Ron, and Hermione as they walk in through the entrance. They climb up a white marble staircase in the antechamber and saw someone waiting for them at the top. It was Professor McGonagall, who stood calm as she patiently waited to greet the group. Behind her was a large set of double doors that led into the Great Hall where other students and the Hogwarts staff were waiting for them. Soon, they reach the top of the stairs and meet with the witch.

"Welcome to Hogwarts. Now, in a few minutes, you will pass through these doors and join your classmates, but before you can take your seats, you must be sorted into your houses. They are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Now, while you are here, your house will be like your family. Your triumphs will earn you points. Any rule-breaking and you will lose points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points will be awarded the House Cup." McGonagall says

One of the students named Neville Longbottom saw a brown toad on the staircase near Professor McGonagall and right away he recognized it as his lost toad.

"Trevor!" Neville exclaims

Neville goes to grab his pet toad while the students laugh, except Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione. As he picks up his toad, Neville looks up at Professor McGonagall as she stared at him with her stern, yet calm expression. He gulps and stands back up.

"Sorry." Neville apologizes

Having found his toad, Neville goes to join his fellow students.

"The Sorting Ceremony will begin momentarily." McGonagall says

Professor McGonagall goes to prepare the Great Hall for the group's arrival, leaving them at the stairs. One of the students named Draco Malfoy looks over at Devon and Harry, taking an interest to them. He had heard about them from other students during their ride on the train to Hogwarts and he would certainly want to have them as his friends.

"It's true, then." Malfoy says

Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione look over towards Malfoy as he speaks.

"What they've been saying on the train. Harry Potter and a Keyblade Wielder has come to Hogwarts." Malfoy says

The students gasp in surprise and began whispering to each other.

"Harry Potter." Neville whispers

"A Keyblade Wielder." A girl whispers

Malfoy looks over at two boys standing next to him and introduces them.

"This is Crabb and Goyle." Malfoy says

Then, the blond-haired boy walks over and stands infront of Devon and Harry as he introduces himself.

"And I'm Malfoy. Draco Malfoy."

Ron snickers, which causes Malfoy to glance over at him.

"Think my name's funny, do you. No need to ask yours. Red hair and a hand-me-down robe? You must be a Weasley." Malfoy says

Malfoy looks back at Devon and Harry.

"You'll soon find out that some wizarding families are better than others, Potter. You don't want to go making friends with the wrong sort." Malfoy says

The blond-haired boy glances over at Ron for a brief moment before looking back at Devon and Harry.

"I can help you both there." Malfoy says

Malfoy offers his right-hand out to shake with Devon and Harry, but they just stand there, reluctant to shake his hand. After just observing his bigotry, rude attitude towards their friend, Ron, they could tell that Malfoy was a selfish, arrogant boy, who believed himself to be superior to others and cared for no one but himself. Nothing more than a spiteful bully and a pushover. In a way, Malfoy reminded Harry of his cousin, Dudley, because of his narcissistic nature, but less sympathetic and much worse. And so, they reject his friendship and advice.

"I think I can tell the wrong sort for myself, thanks." Harry says

"Thanks, Malfoy, but I'd prefer to stick the friends I already have." Devon says

Professor McGonagall soon returns and she taps Malfoy's left-shoulder with a rolled up scroll. Malfoy looks back at the witch and goes to join his gang of bullies, but not before giving Devon and Harry a nasty glare.

"We're ready for you now. Follow me." McGonagall says

And so, the doors to the Great Hall open wide and Professor McGonagall leads the group inside. The hall was large, long and wide, housing four long tables that stretched from the doors of the room to the far side where the staff table was. From left to right, the tables went according to their houses with Gryffindor on the far left, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw in the middle, and Slytherin on the far right. Other students were already in the room, seated at their tables as the group entered. There was enough space to house every student as well as the main staff and guests. There were small windows around the sides of the hall and a large window behind the staff table. Thousands upon thousands of candles floated in midair throughout the hall. Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione glanced up and saw a velvety black ceiling dotted with stars, mimicking the night sky outside the castle.

"It's not real, the ceiling. It's just bewitched to look like the night sky. I read about it in Hogwarts: A History." Hermione says

"Wow. It's just like the ceiling in the Celestial Temple." Devon says

The party soon came to a stop at a raised two level wooden platform at the end of the hall where the entire Hogwarts staff sat at their table. In the center of the table was the headmaster of the school, Professor Dumbledore. To the left was an empty chair where Professor McGonagall would often sit next to the Headmaster, Professor Fillius Flitwick, a Charms Master, Madam Rolanda Hooch, a Flying Instructor, Professor Quirrell, teacher for Defense Against The Dark Arts, and Professor Severus Snape, a Potioneer, a wizard with a moustache and goatee, another wizard wearing a brown square academic cap, an Asian witch, To the right was Professor Aurora Sinistra, a dark-skinned witch and professor of astronomy, a white-bearded wizard, a wizard wearing a beret next to him, a grey-haired witch wearing brown robes, Madame Pomona Sprout, a Herbology teacher, Professor Septima Vector, a fair-skinned witch and professor of arithmancy, a bearded wizard wearing purple clothes, a witch wearing a big hat, and Hagrid, who sat at the end of the table closest to Gryffindor's table. Each of them sat at the table as they waited patiently for the new arrivals.

A wooden stool sat on the platform with an old, battered wizard's hat, which was patched, frayed, and extremely dirty. Professor McGonagall steps up onto the platform and gestures to the bottom with the scroll in her hand.

"All right, would you all wait along here, please?" McGonagall says

Devon and the students gathered and stood at the foot of the platform.

"Now, before we begin, Professor Dumbledore would like to say a few words." McGonagall says

Dumbledore stands up from his large golden throne-like chair in the center of the staff table and speaks out to those inside the hall.

"I have a few start-of-term notices that I wish to announce. The first years, please note that the Dark Forest is strictly forbidden to all students." Dumbledore says

Continuing his announcement, the Headmaster gestures his left-hand to a man standing at the entrance doors with a scrawny, dusty-colored cat sitting at his feet. This was the school's caretaker, Mr. Filch, and his cat, Mrs. Norris.

"Also, our caretaker, Mr. Filch, has asked me to remind you that the third-floor corridor on the right-hand side is out of bounds to everyone who does not wish to die a most painful death." Dumbledore says

"Yikes." Devon says quietly

"Thank you." Dumbledore says

Having said that, the elderly wizard sits back down. Professor McGonagall unrolls the scroll in her right-hand, which had the names of the first year students, and she holds up the old hat in her left-hand.

"When I call your name, you will come forth, I will place the Sorting Hat on your head, and you will be sorted into your houses." McGonagall says

Professor McGonagall looks down at the scroll and calls the first name on the list.

"Hermione Granger." McGonagall calls

Hermione lets out a nervous sigh and she steps up onto the platform.

"Oh, no. Okay. Relax." Hermione mutters to herself

"Mental, that one. I'm telling you." Ron says

"She's just nervous." Devon says

Hermione sits on the stool and the Sorting Hat was placed on her head. The hat came to life as tears along the brim open up like a mouth with another tear up top like eyes.

"Ah, right, then. Hmm... Right. Ok... Gryffindor!" The Sorting Hat says

The students sitting at Gryffindor's table clap and cheer as Hermione steps down and joins them. Professor McGonagall moves onto the next name on the list.

"Draco Malfoy." McGonagall calls

Malfoy steps up onto the platform and sits on the stool. Professor McGonagall goes to place the Sorting Hat on his head until it calls out the house right away.

"Slytherin!" The Sorting Hat says

The hat never even touched Malfoy's head. It's like it already knew what house to put him in. Those at Slytherin's table cheered as the blond-haired boy joined them.

"Wow. That was a fast call." Devon says

"There's not a witch or wizard who went bad who wasn't in Slytherin." Ron says quietly

Moving on, Professor McGonagall calls the next name on the list.

"Susan Bones." McGonagall calls

A young witch steps up onto the platform to be sorted into her house. As she goes up, Harry notices one of the teachers at the staff's table giving him peculiar looks. This teacher was Professor Snape, who was head of Slytherin house and the Potions teacher of Hogwarts. Suddenly, Harry felt a sharp pain coming from his lightning-shaped scar, causing him to hold his forehead as he winces in pain.

"Ahh!" Harry hisses quietly

"Harry? What's wrong?" Ron asks concerned

"Are you alright?" Devon asks also concerned

"Nothing. I'm fine." Harry says

The three boys turn back to the Sorting Ceremony as Susan Bones was placed into her house.

"Let's see. I know. Hufflepuff!" The Sorting Hat says

The students at Hufflepuff's table clapped as the young girl stepped down and joined them.

"Ronald Weasley." Professor McGonagall says

"You're up, Ron." Devon says patting Ron in the back with his left-hand

Ron steps up onto the platform and sits down on the stool. Professor McGonagall places the hat on his head. As soon as the hat came down on his head, it instantly spoke, making Ron jump in the stool with a start.

"Ha! Another Weasley. I know just what to do with you. Gryffindor!" The Sorting Hat says

Ron let out a sigh of relief and got up to join the other students in Gryffindor. Professor McGonagall calls out the next name on the list, which everyone was eagerly to hear.

"Harry Potter." McGonagall calls

Dumbledore leaned forward a bit as he heard Harry's name being called. Harry stepped up onto the platform and sat down on the stool as Professor McGonagall places the Sorting Hat on his head.

"Hmm... Difficult, very difficult. Plenty of courage, I see. Not a bad mind, either. There's talent, oh, yes. And a thirst to prove yourself. But where to put you?" The Sorting Hat says

Harry looked over at the table where Ron and Hermione were seated, then looked over at the table where Malfoy sat with his gang of bullies. Afraid of being put into the same house as Malfoy, Harry closed his eyes and quietly begged not to be placed in Slytherin.

"Not Slytherin. Not Slytherin." Harry whispers

"Not Slytherin, eh? Are you sure? You could be great, you know. It's all here in your head. And Slytherin will help you on the way to greatness. There's no doubt of that. No? Well, if you're sure..." The Sorting Hat says

"Please. Anything but Slytherin." Harry whispers

"Better be..." The Sorting Hat says

Everyone held their breath as they waited anxiously for the Sorting Hat's judgement.

"Gryffindor!" The Sorting Hat says

Upon hearing that, everyone seated at Gryffindor's table cheered loudly. Harry smiled as he was now in the same house as his friends, Ron and Hermione. Harry steps down and heads over to join his friends and his fellow classmates. Before sitting down, Harry looks over at Dumbledore, who smiles and raises his cup to him. Harry smiles and sits down at the table.

Several minutes later, all of the remaining first years were sorted into their houses. Neville, the same boy who lost his toad, Trevor earlier, was placed in Gryffindor. He was intimidated by Gryffindor's reputation for bravery, something he believed he lacked. He begged to be put in Hufflepuff as he knew those in that house were kind, modest, and fair, but ultimately, the Sorting Hat won and placed him in Gryffindor.

With all the students seated at their tables, the only one left on the wooden platform was Devon as he stood in-between Professor Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall at the staff table. Hundreds of plates were set on each of the four tables in the hall as everyone prepared themselves for the Welcome Feast, which would announce the start of the new year for Hogwarts. Before the feast could begin, McGonagall clinked her cup with a fork four times, making dinging sounds with the glass to gain the attention of the students.

"Your attention, please?" McGonagall says

The hall fell silent as the Headmaster of the school rose up from his chair.

"Long ago, in times of yore, the world was filled with light and life was peaceful. But then, darkness was introduced to the world and it threatened to consume all in it's shadow. Thus, endless conflicts between light and darkness raged on across all corners of the known and unknown Universe for a terrible, long count of years. To ensure the survival of the light and life, powerful warriors were created to preserve peace and justice against those who wielded the evil darkness and fight to maintain the balance of order against chaos. These warriors wielded ancient weapons of great magic and unimaginable power, and were capable of extraordinary feats and performing many miracles. The power of these weapons were so great they would rival that of gods and ancient beings. This weapon came to be known as the Keyblade. And those who wielded such marvelous weapons were called Keyblade Wielders. For many centuries, they have visited Hogwarts as guardians, peacekeepers, and friends to wizards, witches, and many magical creatures and were greatly revered as heroes. Until a great war took place which cost the lives of nearly every Keyblade Wielder in existence, driving them to the verge of extinction. Since then, tales of the Keyblade and it's wielders have passed into legend and myth. To many, the Keyblade was a symbol of hope and salvation. Yet, there were seldom few who feared it's incredible power and saw it as a symbol of death and destruction." Dumbledore says

Devon looks left at Professor Dumbledore who nods his head to him. Dumbledore gestures his right-hand at Devon as he goes around the staff table and stood out on the wooden platform for everyone to see him.

"This year, we have a very special visitor that Hogwarts has not seen for a long count of years. And so, allow me to introduce to you all: Devon, the Keyblade Wielder of Light." Dumbledore says

Devon brings his right-hand to his chest and closes his eyes in concentration. He soon opens his eyes and stretches his right-hand out, summoning his Keyblade: Soul Calibur in a bright flash of blue light for everyone to see. Every student in the hall gasps in surprise as the crystal Keyblade appears in Devon's hand.

"As our guest, he is free to partake in school activities and classes here at Hogwarts and learn more about the magic of our world. And as he is a surviving member of an ancient legacy of warriors, I humbly ask everyone here to treat him with respect and let us all help him feel welcome here at Hogwarts." Dumbledore says

All the students and teachers in the Great Hall give Devon a round of applause while he smiles and bows to them.

"And given the brave, courageous nature of his heart, I hereby assign Devon to Gryffindor house." Dumbledore says

The students in Gryffindor cheered loudly as they were more than happy to have the young Keyblade Wielder as part of their family house. Those in Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw clapped along with them, but those in Slytherin remained silent as they weren't favored by any of the other three houses, which was not surprising as Gryffindor and Slythern had a rivalry between them and Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw were in alliance with Gryffindor. Devon walked over to the table where Harry, Ron, and Hermione sat and took a seat next to Harry on his right. He was glad that he was able be in the same house as his friends just as they were happy to have him. Everyone soon settled down as Dumbledore was still standing.

"Now, let the feast begin." Dumbledore says

Dumbledore spreads his hands out and all the empty plates on the tables were filled with food as they magically appeared out of thin air, causing all the students to gasp in surprise and amazement. Even Devon was amazed.

There was a sheer variety of food. Roast beef, chicken, pork and lamb chops, sausages, bacon, steak, joints, steak and kidney pie, boiled potatoes, roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, thick strips of deep-fried chips similar to French fries, Yorkshire pudding, peas, carrots, gravy, ketchup, and peppermint humbug.

For dessert, there were blocks of assorted ice cream, apple pies, spotted dick, chocolate gateau, treacle tart, pumpkin tart, chocolate eclairs, jam doughnuts, trifle, strawberries, jelly, and rice pudding.

"Whoa. That's quite a spread." Devon says

And so, the feast began as everyone grabbed food of their choice. Devon had himself some chicken, bacon, chips, and sausages. During the feast, the students at Gryffindor table were eager to meet Devon. Most of them looked over at him as he ate his food. They just couldn't believe they had an actual Keyblade Wielder in their house.

"So, you really are a Keyblade Wielder. That's amazing." Neville says

Devon looks over at Neville on his right.

"Oh, you're Neville, right? Hermione mentioned you on the train. The boy who lost his toad?" Devon says

"Yeah. That's me." Neville says slightly embarrassed

"I'm Devon. Nice to meet you, Neville. Are you from a wizard family, too?"

Neville nods his head.

"My dad's a wizard and my mum's a witch. I live with my grandmum, who's also a witch." Neville says

An Irish boy sitting next to Neville on his right looks over at Devon and introduces himself, waving his right-hand.

"Hi. I'm Seamus. Seamus Finnigan. Pleased to meet ya."

"Hey, Seamus. What's the story behind your family?" Devon says

"I'm half and half. Me dad's a Muggle. Mum's a witch. Bit of a nasty shock for him when he found out." Seamus says

"Yeesh. I can almost imagine his reaction to that. Are they still together?" Devon asks

"Yep. They still are. Dad accepted her as she was. Found her to be quite beautiful as a witch." Seamus says

"That's good." Devon says

While everyone else was eating, Harry looks over at the staff table and saw Professor Snape sitting with Professor Quirrell as they spoke with each other.

"Say Percy? Who's that talking to Professor Quirrell over there?" Harry asks

"Oh, that's Professor Snape, Head of Slytherin house." Percy says

"What does he teach?" Harry asks

"Potions. But everyone knows it's the Dark Arts he fancies. He's been after Quirrel's job for years." Percy says

Harry looks over at the potions teacher and couldn't help but feel that there was something suspicious about him. As everyone continued to enjoy themselves to the spectacular feast, Ron picks up a chicken leg to add more food to his stomach when a ghostly head pops from the table infront of him, causing him to drop the chicken leg in his hand and jump with a start. The ghost was Nicholas de Mimsey-Porpington or Sir Nicholas, as he would've preferred. He was a wizard from the 1400s who died centuries ago and was currently a resident ghost of Gryffindor Tower at Hogwarts.

"Hello!" Sir Nicholas greets

The ghost turns and looks over at Ron, greeting him with a friendly smile.

"How are you? Welcome to Gryffindor." Sir Nicholas greets

More ghosts began appearing in the Great Hall, joining in on the feast. Helena Ravenclaw, a resident ghost of Ravenclaw glides into the room through the ceiling near Slytherin's table. The Fat Friar, the resident ghost of Hufflepuff flies up from the floor in-between the tables of Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. The Bloody Baron, resident ghost of Slytherin flies in through the wall and glides over Slytherin's table, laughing and swinging his sword around like a wand.

"Hello there, Sir Nicholas. Have a nice summer?" Percy says

Sir Nicholas floats up into the air and turns to Percy.

"Dismal. Once again my request to join the Headless Hunt has been denied." Sir Nicholas says

"I know you! You're Nearly Headless Nick." Ron says

"I prefer Sir Nicholas, if you don't mind." Sir Nicholas says

"Nearly headless? How are you nearly headless?" Hermione asks

"Like this." Sir Nicholas says

Sir Nicholas grabs his head and tilts it to the right, showing the poorly done job of decapitation on his head as it was connected by half an inch of skin and sinew. Ron screamed while Hermione looked away disgusted. Devon saw her grossed-out expression and leans over to her.

"You had to ask, right?" Devon says

Sir Nicholas shifts his head back into place and floats away to join the other ghosts.

After the feast, Devon, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and the other Gryffindor students followed Percy as he led them through the hallways in the castle. They were followed by the students of Ravenclaw.

"Gryffindors, follow me, please. Keep up. Thank you." Percy says

The two parties soon came into the Grand Staircase, which was a massive chamber that had hundreds of stairs going up and down to different levels of the castle. Also in the tower were hundreds of portraits covering the walls. Ravenclaw's house went on their own way, going down a separate set of stairs, while Percy and his party stop for a moment in the room.

"This is the most direct path to the dormitories. Oh, and keep an eye on the staircases. They like to change." Percy says

Devon and the students look up and they saw the many stairs above them, going as high as the eye could see. There were wide stairs and narrow stairs, some of which were moving from one position to the next.

"That's a lot of stairs." Devon says

"Keep up, and follow me, please. Quickly, now. Come on." Percy says

The group follows Percy as they go up left along the stairs. During their ascent, they saw many portraits of different individuals. Most were witches and wizards while others were artists, professors, inventors, astronomers, scholars, animals, kings, queens, knights, noblemen, and many sorts of characters. Some were in groups while others were by themselves. Each of the portraits were alive as they moved around and looked down at the group.

"Hey, the picture's moving!" Neville exclaims

Devon, Ron, and Harry look up at one of the paintings and they saw a girl wearing a white dress, holding a bouquet of flowers in her right-hand. The girl smiles and greets the group, waving her left-hand.

"Look at that one, Harry." Ron says

"I think she fancies you." Harry says

Devon was definitely amazed by the moving portraits. He had seen many things in his life as a Keyblade Wielder, but this was certaintly new to him. Hanging next to the portrait of the girl was the painting of another individual, who was a male scholar reading through a book with a magnifying glass. He looks down at the group and greets the newcomers politely with a kind smile.

"Welcome to Hogwarts." The scholar in the painting greets

Moving on, the group continue climbing up the stairs as they follow Percy. Eventually, the Gryffindors reach the seventh floor where a large painting hung on the wall infront of them. In this painting was a fat lady, who wore a white dress and appeared to be living in the classical period somewhere between the 8th century BC and 6th century AD. She had a calm, but dutiful expression as Percy stood at the front of the group.

"Password?" The Fat Lady asks

"Caput draconis." Percy says

The Fat Lady smiles and gestures her left-hand to welcome the group inside as the painting swings backwards, revealing a hole in the wall, which led into a cosy, round room.

"Huh. Open sesame." Devon says

"Follow me, everyone. Keep up. Quickly, come on." Percy says

Devon and the Gryffindors follow Percy inside and they glance around at the room.

The room was decorated in several shades of red and gold, associated with the house. On the walls were tapestries depicting witches and wizards, but also various animals. There were squashy armchairs, tables, bookshelves filled with various novels, and a bulletin board where there were school notices, ads, lost posters, etc. Many windows in the room offered a grand view of the school grounds down below. From the entrance on the right of the room was a large fireplace, which already had a warm fire burning inside. Adorned on the mantle of the fireplace was a portrait of a lion. And a door in the right-side of the common room lead off into spiral staircase that led to the dormitories for boys and girls.

"Welcome to the Gryffindor Common Room. Boys' dormitories, upstairs and down to your left, Girls', the same on your right. You'll find all of your belongings have already been brought up." Percy says

That night, everyone in Gryffindor dormitories was asleep. All except for Devon, who laid on his bed, spinning Soul Calibur in his right-hand over his head as it dimly glowed with it's benevolent blue light. He soon stopped and looked over to his left, seeing that Harry was also awake as he sat in a fetal position at the window sill next to his bed with his owl, Hedwig next to him. The wizard boy gently stroked the snow owl's soft feathery body and glances out the window, taking in sight of the lake as the light from the glowing white moon glistened on the water's surface. Devon gets up from his bed and quietly walks over to Harry, trying not to wake the other students in the room.

"Hey." Devon greets

Harry looks up at his right and saw Devon leaning his left-arm against the stone wall.

"Can't sleep, huh?" Devon says

"No." Harry says

"Yeah. Me neither." Devon says

The Keyblade Wielder sits down on Harry's bed.

"It's okay. I'm sure it takes a while to get used to your first day in a magic school. So, what do you think of all this so far?" Devon says

"I think it's all very amazing." Harry says

"Definitely better than living with your relatives, right?" Devon says

"Yeah." Harry says

Devon smiles and looks out the window, gazing out at the peaceful night as he recalled the start of his journey as a Keyblade Wielder. Visions of him, Sora, Riku, and Kairi flashed through his mind. The first was of them running together along the beaches of Destiny Islands. Then, another vision appeared of them hanging out together by the bent Paopu Tree as the sun sets over the sea's horizon.

"Before I wielded the Keyblade, I never knew much about magic. I was just your average, ordinary teenager, always looking to explore. Dreaming of adventure. Seeking out other worlds. Being a hero. I have friends who share in the same dreams as me." Devon says

Visions of Soul Calibur played out in Devon's mind as he remembered how it came to him when he needed it whether it was fighting Heartless, using magic, or locking away keyholes to the heart of a world.

"Then, the Keyblade appeared in my hand. And like you, I was thrust into a world different from mine. At first, I had trouble adapting to my new life, but I soon learned to embrace it." Devon says

The young teen glances up at the full moon in the night sky as visions of his friends went through his mind. Luna, Spyro, Cynder, Hiccup, Toothless, Astrid, and the many other friends he made on his journey. In some visions, they talked and laughed as they enjoyed each other's company. In other visions, they stood together and fought bravely against Heartless and Nobodies.

"I was able to visit many worlds, meet all sorts of people, make new friends. The Keyblade helped awaken the light inside me. It helped shape me into what I am, what I was meant to be: A legendary warrior of the light. With the strength in my heart, I was able to fight against the darkness and help people." Devon says

Looking down at Harry, Devon gave him a pat on the right-shoulder with his right-hand.

"You're gonna be a great wizard, Harry. And I'll be here to help you every step of the way." Devon says

The Keyblade Wielder covers his mouth with his right-arm as he let out a yawn.

"Well, tomorrow's the start of our classes. We'd better get some rest. Wouldn't be good to be late on the first day. I'll see you in the morning." Devon says

"Okay. Night." Harry says

Devon returns to his bed and heads to sleep while Harry still sat at the window with Hedwig as he continued to gaze out at the magical outside world. Tomorrow would be the start of his new life as a wizard.
