Two months have passed since the Quidditch game between Gryffindor and Slytherin and the school was preparing for the holidays. Winter arrives as snowflakes falls onto the land, blanketing the ground in several feet of white snow. Hagrid drags a very large pine tree he cut down from the Forbidden Forest with rope over his right-shoulder and brings it with him to the castle. Alura, the unicorn helped Hagrid with the tree, pulling it with rope around her neck.

Hermione walks through the halls of the school, passing by other students as they head out to spend the winter break and Christmas season with family and friends. The ghosts float along the halls singing Christmas carols. Hermione soon comes into the Great Hall.

Just as it was during Halloween, the Great Hall was completely decorated for the grand holiday. Instead of fear and darkness, there was joy and light. Twelve large decorated douglas fir trees stood along the sides of the hall while a much larger and taller one stood at the very back of the hall. Mistletoe, and holly were placed throughout the hall. Professor Flitwick and few other staff levitate decorations onto the tall tree, adding ornaments making it look more beautiful. Snow fell from the enchanted ceiling, but unlike real snow it was dry and warm.

Hermione saw Devon, Harry, and Ron sitting at Gryffindor's table playing Wizard's Chess and walks over to them. Devon sat next to Harry, watching him and Ron play. Harry used the white pieces while Ron used the red pieces.

"Knight to E-5." Harry says

The white knight moves itself over to it's designated position, sliding along the black and white squares on the board, going up three and right two.

"Queen to E-5." Ron says

The red queen slides up three squares from it's side to the white knight's position on the board. Then, the magic animated chess piece stands up from it's seat, grabs it's chair, and swings it at the knight, smashing it to pieces. Ron smiled while Harry watched. Devon found Wizard's Chess to be rather fun. It was amusing to see the chess pieces destroy each other.

"That's totally barbaric." Hermione says

"That's Wizard's Chess." Ron says

"It's definitely more interesting than regular chess, that's for sure." Devon says

Ron looks at Hermione and noticed that she had her luggage all packed.

"I see you've packed." Ron says

"See you haven't." Hermione says

"Change of plans. My parents decided to go to Romania to visit my brother Charlie. He studying dragons there." Ron says

"Good. You can help Devon and Harry, then. They're going to look in the library for information on Nicholas Flamel." Hermione says

"We've looked a hundred times." Ron says

"Not in the Restricted Section. Merry Christmas." Hermione says

"Merry Christmas, Hermione. See you when you get back. We'll let you know if we find anything." Devon says

Hermione nods and takes her leave, heading out of the hall to spend the holiday season with her family while Devon, Harry, and Ron watch her go.

"I think we've had a bad influence on her." Ron says

The days went by as Devon, Harry, and Ron remained at the school. They tried to gain access to the Restricted Section for information on Nicholas Flamel but to no avail. The section was closed off and a special signature from one of the teachers was required to look in any of the restricted books, and they knew that they'd never get one. Soon, Christmas Day arrives with Ron calling out to Devon and Harry.

"Harry! Devon! Wake up! Come on, wake up!" Ron says

The Keyblade Wielder and wizard boy awaken to the sound of Ron's voice and they go out to meet him. The two boys leave the dormitories and look down and see Ron downstairs on the lower level. Ron was wearing a maroon knitted jumper with the letter 'W' knitted on it. Apparently, it was one of his gifts from his mother. Ron looks up at them and greets them with a smile.

"Merry Christmas, Harry, Devon." Ron says

"Merry Christmas, Ron." Devon says

"What are you wearing?" Harry asks

Ron looks down at his jumper.

"Oh. My mum made it." Ron says

Ron glances back at the Christmas tree in the common room, which had presents sitting around and underneath, then looks up at Devon and Harry.

"Looks like you guys got some too." Ron says

Devon and Harry share confused glances with each other.

"We got presents?" Harry asks

"Yeah." Ron says

The two boys share smiles with each other. This would be their first time spending Christmas with each other.

"C'mon. Let's check 'em out." Devon says patting Harry in the back with his right-hand

Eager to see their presents, Devon and Harry rush downstairs to join their friend, Ron.

"There they are." Ron says

Both Devon and Harry's presents were put into their own seperate piles. Devon sits down in a chair near the fireplace and looks over his gifts, counting at least four. Two were small while the other two were large. He starts with the small ones first. One was a package of Chocolate Frogs given to him from Hermione.

"Chocolate Frogs from Hermione." Devon says

The Keyblade Wielder sets the package of Chocolate Frogs down on a small table to his right and picks up his second gift, which was from Professor McGonagall and was sealed up with red, blue, yellow, and green wrapping.

"This one's from McGonagall." Devon says

Devon tears up the wrapping, revealing a small box. Opening the box, he found a pin badge made of solid gold. The pin badge was the Hogwarts House Crest displaying the four houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin with their colors.

"Cool badge. Thanks, McGonagall." Devon says

Devon places the badge on left-side of his jacket and grabs his third present, which was sealed up with blue wrapping. Tearing off the wrapping, the present was revealed to be a black textbook. The book had two creatures emblazoned in gold printing on the front and back cover. Both of them had long serpentine bodies and six heads, each different from the other. One had the head of a Warthog. Another had the head of a snake. A third head was an Ox. The fourth head was a bird. A fifth head was dragon. And the sixth was a bug-like head almost like a butterfly. Devon didn't know what to make of the creatures on the book. Looking it over, he read the title which was in gold letters on the cover.

"'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'." Devon reads

"Really popular book. It was published by Newt Scamander. It's got all sorts of information on every magical creature out there." Ron says

"Sounds interesting. I'd really like to see what kinds of creatures are in this book. I might just check it out later." Devon says

Setting the book aside, Devon unwraps and opens up his final present, which was a knitted jumper similar to Ron, but his was blue with the letter 'D' on it.

"From your mother, huh?" Devon says

Ron nods his head. Devon holds the sweater up against his body, lays it down on his lap, then stroked his right-hand across it's surface, feeling the soft cotton fabric.

"Nice fabric. I'll be sure to thank her next time I see her." Devon says

Devon folds up the sweater and sets it aside. Now, it was Harry's turn to see his gifts.

"Alright, Harry. Let's see what you got." Devon says

Harry nods his head and picks out one of his presents. He picked up one that was sealed up in silver wrapping and sat down on a chair. Attached to the package was a note that had no name. Harry picked up the note and read it.

"Your father left this in my possession before he died. It is time it was returned to you. Use it well." Harry reads

Harry looks over at Devon and Ron, who just shrugs. Going back to his present, Harry tears off the wrapping. The gift was revealed to be a cloak. The wizard boy stands up and holds up the cloak, which was long enough to cover his entire body.

"What is it?" Ron asks

"Some kind of cloak." Harry says

"Well. Let's see then. Put it on." Ron says

"Yeah. Try it on, Harry." Devon says

Harry wraps the cloak around his body. As soon as he does, Devon and Ron stare at Harry with widened eyes and stunned expressions.

"Whoa!" Devon and Ron gasp in amazement

Harry looks down at himself and saw that his body had vanished.

"My body's gone!" Harry exclaims

"That ain't no regular cloak. Must be magic." Devon says

"I know what that is. That's an invisibility cloak." Ron says

"I'm invisible?" Harry asks

The wizard boy spins around, glancing down at his invisible body. He looked like a floating head.

"They're really rare." Ron says

Ron picks up the note that came with Harry's gift and looks down at it.

"Wonder who gave it to you." Ron says

Harry walks over with his cloak still hiding his body and looks down at the note.

"There was no name. It just said... 'Use it well.'" Harry says

"We'll definitely use it alright. Now, we've got a way to look into the Restricted Section in the library. But we'll have to be sneaky about it. Which means we have to go in at night when everyone's asleep." Devon says

Devon looks over at Harry.

"Harry, after Christmas dinner, you and me are going to pay the library another visit." Devon says

The wizard boy looks over at the Keyblade Wielder and nods his head in agreement.

Later that night, the school of Hogwarts was quiet as the students and staff rested for the night. All except Devon and Harry, who were now in the library heading for the Restricted Section that was in the back of the room. The two boys were covered with the Invisibility Cloak as they walked quietly through the library. Only Harry's arm was sticking out as he held up a lantern for light in the dark castle. Soon, Devon and Harry came upon a closed double door with a latch securing it. Above the door was a sign that read 'Restricted'.

"Here it is. The Restricted Section." Devon whispers

Harry lifts up the latch and pushes the doors open. The creaking of the doors echoes loudly, disturbing the silent peace of the library. The two boys approach one of the bookshelves and scan the books for anything starting with the letter 'F', hoping to find a book on Nicholas Flamel somewhere.

"'Famous Fire-Eaters'. '15th-Century Fiends'." Harry says

"Flamel. Nicholas Flamel." Devon says

"Where is it?" Harry asks

Devon and Harry take off the Invisibility Cloak and set it down on the side of the bookshelf.

"Here. Let's try this shelf." Devon says

Harry looks through the books in the shelf and sees one that catches his eye. The book was large, black, and silver, which the wizard boy believed to be promising. He pulls the book out and opens it. The book starts to shake and a human face stretches out from the pages, screaming loudly with a high piercing, blood-curdling shriek, splitting the silence in the library. Harry fights with the struggling book, slams it shut, and slides it back into the shelf.

"Who's there?" A voice says

Devon and Harry whirl around upon hearing the voice. It was Mr. Filch, patrolling the castle halls. No doubt he must've heard the screaming book.

"Shoot! It's Filch!" Devon curses quietly

Harry quickly grabs his cloak and pulls it off from the shelf's side. The lantern, which was ontop of the cloak, falls onto the floor and breaks into pieces. The Keyblade Wielder and young wizard run out into the main aisle and they saw a light and Mr. Filch's shadow approaching from the right up ahead.

"I know you're in there. You can't hide." Mr. Filch says

Not wanting to be caught in the library, Devon and Harry hide under the Invisible Cloak just as Mr. Filch comes from around the corner, holding up a lantern of his own.

"Who is it? Show yourself." Mr. Filch says

Mr. Filch walks through the Restricted Section, searching for any intruders in the library. Devon and Harry hide in one of the smaller aisles as the caretaker comes into view, both holding their breath as he walks past them with his ragged breathing.

Once Mr. Filch was gone, the two boys slip away and head out into the castle halls. They take a moment to catch their breath and sigh with relief. However, their moment was short-lived as they heard a meow. Glancing down, they saw Mrs. Norris at their feet. The two boys didn't know if the cat could see them through the Invisibility Cloak, but it looked as though she was staring right at them. The cat got up and started to walk toward them and Devon and Harry turn and quickly head down the hall to lose the cat. They manage to escape from Mrs. Norris and were coming up to another corridor ahead of them. But before they could turn the corner, they stopped right in their tracks when they saw Professor Quirrell being pushed up against the wall by Professor Snape.

"Severus, I-I-I thought-" Quirrell says

"You don't want me as your enemy, Quirrell." Snape says

"Wh-What do you mean?" Quirrell asks

"You know perfectly well what I mean." Snape says

Devon and Harry quietly move around behind Snape as he was threatening Quirrell. But then, Snape turns around and was looking right at them as he heard their breathing behind him. The two boys quickly cover their mouths to silence their heavy breathing and they back away from Snape. The Potions Master stretches his right-hand out towards them and goes to grab the cloak, but misses them by inches as they took a step back. Snape looks down at his hand, but immediately dismisses and directs his attention back towards Quirrell.

"We'll have another little chat soon. When you've had time to decide where your loyalties lie." Snape says

Mr. Filch comes from around the corner and stumbles upon the two professors.

"Oh, Professors." Mr. Filch says

The caretaker holds up the broken lantern that Harry dropped in the library.

"I found this in the Restricted Section. It's still hot. That means there's a student out of bed." Mr. Filch says

Alarmed by this discovery, Professor Snape and Quirrell goes to investigate the library with Mr. Filch. As soon as they were gone, Devon and Harry open the door to a room and head inside. They close the door and come out from under the cloak.

"Whew. Oh, man. That was close." Devon sighs with relief

"Yeah. It was." Harry says nodding in agreement

Devon and Harry look around as they find themselves standing in an empty room. And then, something caught their eye in back of the room. Standing in right-corner was a large, ancient, ornate mirror.

"A mirror? What's it doing in a room like this all by itself?" Devon asks

The two boys walk up to the mirror and examine it. Devon places his left-hand on it's side, feeling the gold metal in the frame. It felt like it's been here for centuries.

"Looks old." Devon says

Devon looks up at the top of the mirror and he saw writing engraved into it. It appeared to be in a foreign language, most likely a language that was probably dead. The inscription read: 'Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on woshi'.

"I wonder what that writing means?" Devon says

Glancing away from the mirror, Devon looks over at Harry on his right and noticed that he was looking straight at the mirror.

"Harry? What is it?" Devon asks

Harry found himself staring at the mirror as he saw two images appear next to him at his sides. On his left in the mirror was a woman, who looked beautiful, kind, and happy. And on his right was a man, who looked like an older version of Harry, and he, too, appeared to be happy. These two people were in fact Harry's dead parents, Lily and James Potter. As he stared at them, Harry felt that these must be his parents as they stared back at him with fond expressions. Harry glanced back behind him, but saw no one else in the room besides him and Devon. Looking back at his parents at the mirror, Harry gazes upon his mother and father with a smile on his face.

"Mum? Dad?" Harry says

Lily and James said nothing, but they both smiled at their son. Harry pressed his left-hand flat against the glass as though he was hoping to fall through and reach his parents. He felt a strong ache inside of him. Half of it was joy while the other half was sadness. Devon looks at Harry, seeing that he was completely entranced by the mirror.

"Harry?" Devon says feeling confused

"Devon... I can see them. My parents." Harry says

Devon stares at Harry in surprise. Could he actually be seeing his parents in the mirror?

"Really?" Devon says

Devon leans over and looks into the mirror and saw only reflections of himself and Harry.

"I only see us. Harry, are you sure you can see your parents in this?" Devon asks

"Yes. I see them clearly as I see you." Harry says

In the mirror, Lily places her hand on Harry's left-shoulder as if to offer him comfort. Harry places his right-hand on his shoulder, expecting to feel her gentle touch, but felt only his own. Despite the lack of feeling her, Harry looks at his mother with a smile, while she gives him a smile of her own. Devon stares at the mirror, standing right next to Harry.

"If you can see your parents in this mirror, Harry, then I believe you." Devon says

Harry glances over at Devon and smiles. The two boys then look back at the mirror.

"We got to show Ron this." Devon says

Devon and Harry return to the Gryffindor Common Room and they head up to the dormitories to wake up Ron, who was asleep in his bed. The door opens up by itself and the blanket covering Ron was pulled out.

"Ron! You've really got to see this! Ron, You've got to see this!" Harry says

The Keyblade Wielder and wizard boy appear next to Ron from under the Invisibility Cloak.

"Ron! Ron, come on! Get out of bed!" Harry says

Ron sits up and looks at his friends drowsily.

"Why?" Ron asks

"There's something you got to see. Now come on." Harry says

Moving through the halls of the castle under the Invisibility Cloak, Devon, Harry, and Ron head for the room where the large mirror was located. The door to the empty room opens and closes as the three boys enter. Then, they emerge out of the cloak and approach the mirror in the back corner of the room.

"Come on. Come." Harry says

Devon, Harry, and Ron stop infront of the mirror and stare at it.

"I only see us." Ron says

"At least it's not just me." Devon says

Harry already knew that Devon couldn't see his parents, but he wasn't gonna give up. He wanted to show his parents to his friends.

"Look in properly. Go on, stand there." Harry says

Harry moves Ron in the same spot where he was standing infront of the mirror. The trio waited for few moments but soon Ron was staring into the mirror just like Harry was earlier.

"There. You see them, don't you?" Harry says

"That's me. Only I'm head boy. And I'm holding the Quidditch Cup. And bloody hell! I'm Quidditch Captain, too! I look good." Ron says

Ron looks over at Harry and Devon on his right.

"Hey, do you guys think this mirror shows the future?" Ron asks

"How can it? Both my parents are dead." Harry says

Over the next few nights, Devon and Harry visited the room to look in the mirror, perplexed by it's mysterious power. Harry was able to see his parents in the mirror each time he visited. Devon went along with him to keep him company. He wondered that if Harry could see his parents, perhaps he might be able to see his parents too.

One night, Devon came to the mirror alone and looked into it. At first he saw nothing. But then, a few seconds later, two figures appeared in the mirror. On his left was a beautiful woman. And on his right was a handsome man. It was his own parents, Shara and Ducar. Shara was wearing her elegant outfit, consisting of her mini-dress, white top, white shorts, white low socks and black boots. And Ducar was wearing his outfit, which was his black open leather jacket, dark grey colored shirt, black jeans, black gloves, and black military boots.

Devon's reaction was exactly the same as Harry's when he saw his parents. His heart ached with joy and sadness. The Keyblade Wielder looked upon his parents with a smile on his face and they returned the smile back at him. Devon presses his right-hand against the mirror like Harry did, hoping to fall through and reach them. Now he understood why Harry was so entranced by the mirror when they first saw it. Knowing that he won't go through the mirror to reach his parents, Devon brought his hand back down. As he stared at his parents, a tear slides down the left-side of Devon's face. The Keyblade Wielder felt the tear going down his face and he watched with a surprised yet sorrowful expression. In the mirror, Ducar puts his left-hand on Devon's shoulder while Shara takes hold of her son's hand as they both offer him comfort. Devon takes hold of his crystal necklace with his right-hand. Then, he looks upon his parents with a determined expression and a smile and nods at them. Ducar and Shara both smile at their son, feeling very proud of him.

A few nights later, Devon and Harry visit the mirror again and stare at it. Harry sat infront of the mirror with his legs crossed while Devon leaned his back against the wall, staring out at the nearby window of the empty room to the outside magic world. Devon shifts his gaze over at Harry, watching him stare at the mirror, then he looks up at the mirror itself. He knew that Harry was thinking about his dead parents and he didn't blame him. Ever since he saw his own parents in the mirror the previous night, he couldn't stop thinking about them either. At first, Devon was reluctant to speak of the horrific tragedy that befell his parents and his world. It caused him too much pain to his heart. But now that he spent more time with Harry, he felt more closer to him than anyone. If ever he wanted to tell the wizard boy about his parents, he felt this would be the best time to do it.

"Hey, Harry? Remember when I said my parents were Keyblade Wielders too?" Devon asks

"Yeah?" Harry says

Devon walks over to Harry and sat down on his right next to him with his right-leg stretched out and his left-leg bent resting his left-arm on his knee.

"I think maybe it's time I told you my story." Devon says

Harry looks over at Devon, curious to hear his story. Devon looks down at the floor, thinking of where to start.

"My parents, my mom and dad, they were the best. As I said on the train, they were Keyblade Wielders like me. And like me, their duty was to protect innocent people who couldn't defend themselves. They fought against the Forces of Darkness. Helped to maintain peace. Healed those who suffered. Brought justice to those who deserve it. And ensured there was balance between Light and Darkness. They were the heroes that everyone looked up to." Devon says

Devon turns his gaze up towards the mirror.

"That was until my homeworld was invaded by the Forces of Darkness. A massive army of dark creatures and evil warriors that slaughtered anyone in their way. My parents fought them off as best they could, but they were overwhelmed. And then... they were murdered... by the most vile, evil menace of all. A dark being named Lord Thanatos." Devon says

"Lord Thanatos? Is he someone like... Lord Voldemort?" Harry asks

Devon turns to Harry.

"He's a Keyblade Wielder like me, but the complete opposite of what I am. I've fought him before and barely survived a few encounters with him. And let me tell you, he's not someone to be taken lightly. He's ruthless, sadistic, cunning, and extremely powerful. I don't know about Lord Voldemort, but I don't think I've ever faced anyone as strong as him." Devon says

Harry stares at Devon in shock.

"He's that strong?" Harry asks

Devon nods his head.

"Yeah. And that's not the worst of it. There's another dark being that's far more terrifying than him and much more powerful." Devon says

Again, Harry stares at Devon with an even more shocked expression.

"Is there actually someone more bad than Lord Thanatos and Voldemort?" Harry asks

"Unfortunately, yes. There's a demonic, evil entity of darkness who calls himself The Dark Lord of the Shadows. His real name is Makuta Teridax, and he's the worst sort of villain imaginable. He's also Lord Thanatos' master and a Dark Keyblade Master. He is pure evil, darkness, and chaos in it's truest form. He conquers worlds, enslaves innocent people, and destroys light and life. His ultimate goal is to conquer the entire Universe and enslave all life to his will." Devon says

Harry was at a loss for words. He just couldn't believe his ears. He thought Lord Voldemort was bad, but now Devon was talking about two villains that are many leagues above him. Just how could there be such powerful beings?

"Teridax was the one who ordered the attack on my homeworld, my friends, and my family. I was that main target, but my mother and father sacrificed themselves to save me. Lord Thanatos murdered both my parents, but I alone survived thanks to a being called The Inheritor." Devon says

"The Inheritor?" Harry asks

"A benevolent being, a Keyblade Master, and a powerful celestial god of light. He's an ancient enemy of the Dark Lord who fought to defend the Universe from the darkness and keep it safe. When Lord Thanatos tried to kill me, he came and saved me. He's watched over me my entire life, guided me along every step of my journey, and kept me safe while I was being hunted across the Universe." Devon says

"You're being hunted?" Harry asks

"Yep. By Lord Thanatos, the Dark Lord, and the dark creatures they send after me." Devon says

"Why?" Harry asks

"As it turns out, I'm part of an ancient prophecy. My destiny is to fight the Dark Lord of the Shadows in the ultimate battle of Light Vs. Darkness and bring balance to the Universe. While Teridax seeks to conquer the worlds, I fight to protect them like my parents. While he fills hearts with despair, I deliver hope." Devon says

The Keyblade Wielder shifts his gaze back to the mirror infront of him.

"I'm currently training to fulfill my destiny. Teridax believes that darkness is everything, which is somewhat true since it is half of everything, but I intend to prove him wrong. I'll make sure he sees the error of his ways and show him that the light is far more stronger than darkness. I'll see to it that he pays for all the hurt and suffering he's caused, the people he's killed, and I'll give back the freedom he stole from the worlds and every single person he's enslaved." Devon says

Devon grips his left-hand into a fist, clenching it hard as he thought about punishing the Dark Lord for his countless crimes against the Universe. Harry felt a mixture of emotions. Determination to help Devon in his quest. Sympathy for his hardships in losing his mother and father. And stunned amazement at Devon's life as a Keyblade Wielder. He wasn't sure if he'd ever be capable of doing incredible things like him. Sure he'd turn out to be a great wizard, maybe even the best, but it's nothing compared to being a Keyblade Wielder. Someone who's a guardian to the entire Universe.

"Wow, Devon. I... I had no idea." Harry says

"I know. Crazy story, right?" Devon says

"No. I just can't imagine how much you've been through. You might just have it more worse than me." Harry says

Devon shrugs his shoulders with a grin on his face.

"Well, story of my life." Devon says

As the Keyblade Wielder and wizard boy sat together in the room, an elderly voice speaks out to them.

"Back again, boys?" The voice says

Devon and Harry turn around and they saw Professor Dumbledore standing behind them.

"Oh, Professor Dumbledore." Devon says

The two boys rise up to their feet and face Dumbledore as he walks over to them.

"I see that you, like so many before you, have discovered the delights of the Mirror of Erised. I trust by now you both realize what it does. Let me give you a clue. The happiest man on Earth would look into the mirror and see only himself exactly as he is." Dumbledore says

"So then it shows us what we want? Whatever we want?" Harry asks

"It shows us what our heart desires." Devon says

"Yes... and no. It shows us nothing more or less than the deepest and most desperate desires of our hearts. Now you, boys, who have never known your families, you see them standing beside you. But remember this, this mirror gives us neither knowledge or truth. Men have wasted away infront of it, even gone mad." Dumbledore says

Devon and Harry both look at the mirror in surprise.

"This mirror drove people insane?" Devon asks

"That is why tomorrow it will be moved to a new home." Dumbledore says

The two boys glance back at the headmaster.

"And I must ask you not to go looking for it again. It does not do to dwell on dreams. And forget to live." Dumbledore says

"Hey, Professor? If you don't mind me asking? What exactly do you see when you look into the mirror?" Devon asks

Dumbledore looks upon the mirror for a moment, then looks back at Devon.

"A pair of socks." Dumbledore says

"A pair of socks?" Devon asks with a raised right-brow

Devon and Harry shared glances with each other, then they start chuckling. Dumbledore chuckles along with them.

Months later, the term resumes at Hogwarts as the students return to their classes and studies. Devon, Harry, and Ron sat together at a table in the library, reading through books. Hermione walks over and joins them.

"I had you looking in the wrong section. How could I be so stupid?" Hermione says

Hermione drops a large book down on the table, which slams loudly against the surface due to it's large weight, making Ron jump.

"I checked this out weeks ago for a bit of light reading." Hermione says

"This is light?" Ron asks

Hermione gives Ron a stern look, then turns her attention to the book. Examining it's pages, she manages to find information on Nicholas Flamel.

"Of course, here it is! Nicholas Flamel is the only known maker of the Sorcerer's Stone." Hermione says

"The what?" Harry and Ron say in unison

Hermione shifts her gaze up at the two boys.

"Honestly, don't you two read?" Hermione says

"What it's say about the stone?" Devon asks

Hermione goes back to the book and reads more about the Sorcerer's Stone.

"The Sorcerer's Stone is a legendary substance with astonishing powers. It can transform any metal into pure gold and produces the Elixir of Life, which will make the drinker immortal." Hermione reads

"Immortal?" Ron asks

"It means you'll never die." Hermione says

"I know what it means!" Ron says

"Shh!" Harry says

"Anything else?" Devon asks

"The only stone currently in existence belongs to Nicholas Flamel, the noted alchemist, who last year celebrated his 665th birthday." Hermione reads

"665 years old?! Nicholas Flamel must've made himself immortal in creating the stone. So that means..." Devon says

"That's what's Fluffy's guarding on the third floor. That's what's under the trapdoor. The Sorcerer's Stone." Hermione says

"And that must be what Snape is after." Devon says

Devon shares glances with the wizarding trio. Each of them knew what they were thinking.

"I'd say it's time we paid Hagrid a visit. Tonight." Devon says

Later that night, Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione head down towards Hagrid's Hut, which was at the bottom of a hill in the grounds. They step up to the door and knock. Hagrid comes to the door and opens up for the four. Hagrid was wearing an apron and oven mitts on his hands, much to the confusion of the Keyblade Wielder and the Wizarding Trio. Was Hagrid cooking something inside?

"Hagrid!" Harry says

"Oh, hello. Sorry, don't wish to be rude, but I'm in no fit state to entertain today." Hagrid says

Hagrid goes to close the door, but the Devon and his friends speak out to the half-giant.

"We know about the Sorcerer's Stone!" The four say in unison

Upon hearing that, Hagrid re-opens the door and looks down at the quartet.

"Oh." Hagrid says

Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione step inside and made themselves comfortable. Harry and Ron sat together on one side of the hut while Hermione sat down in a large chair that was twice her size. Devon stood behind her and leaned on his right-side against the chair. Hagrid's Boarhound dog, Fang, sat near Harry and Ron. Fang was a giant dog with black fur with a friendly, affectionate personality as he greeted Ron with licks to his face.

The hut was made of stone and was small with only two rooms inside. Hams and pheasants hung from the ceiling. In one corner of the hut was a massive bed with a patchwork quilt over it.

"We think Snape's trying to steal it." Harry says

"Snape? Blimey, you're not still on about him, are you?" Hagrid says

"Hagrid, we know he's after the stone. We just don't know why." Harry says

"Snape is one of the teachers protecting the stone. He's not about to steal it." Hagrid says

"What?" Harry says

"You heard. Right. Come on now. I'm a bit preoccupied tonight." Hagrid says

"Hold on a sec, Hagrid. One of the teachers?" Devon asks

"Of course! There are other things defending the stone, aren't there? Spells? Enchantments?" Hermione asks

"That's right. Waste of bloody time, if you ask me. Ain't no one gonna get past Fluffy. Ain't a soul knows how. Except for me and Dumbledore. I shouldn't have told you that." Hagrid says

Suddenly, Devon, the Wizarding Trio, and Hagrid heard clanking in the hut. It was coming from the pot, which was in the nearby fireplace rattling and shaking. Hagrid walks over and reaches into the pot with his mitts. He takes out a large dark brown egg, which was extremely hot. Hagrid fumbles to keep hold over the egg as it burnt his hands, even with the mitts on. He quickly brings the egg over to a nearby table and sets it down. Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione gather around the table to have a look.

"Uh, Hagrid, what exactly is that?" Harry asks

"That? It's a-It's, um-" Hagrid says

"I know what that is! But, Hagrid, how did you get one?" Ron asks

"I won it... off a stranger I met down at the pub. Seemed quite glad to be rid of it as a matter of fact." Hagrid says

The egg starts to shake on the table as something inside seemed to be hatching. Then, cracks began form on the egg's surface. The Keyblade Wielder and Wizarding Trio start to back up as the shaking in the egg increased with each passing second. It looked like it was gonna burst at any second.

Within moments, the egg bursts open, sending pieces of the shell everywhere. Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione shielded themselves while Hagrid jumps with a slight start. From the egg emerged a small dragon, specifically a Norwegian Ridgeback. It had a green skin color, large wings, a skinny body with ridges on it's back, a long snout with wide nostrils, horn stubs and bulging, orange eyes, two legs, and a long tail. The young baby dragon shakes the remnants of it's egg off itself and looks around the hut, taking in it's new surroundings. Then, it lets out a cute little squeal. Everyone stared at the baby dragon. Hagrid absolutely adored his new pet.

"Is that... a dragon?" Hermione asks

"Wings. Long tail. Scaly skin. Definitely looks like a dragon to me." Devon says

"That's not just a dragon. That's a Norwegian Ridgeback. My brother Charlie works with these in Romania." Ron says

"Isn't he beautiful? Oh, bless him. Look, he knows his mummy." Hagrid says

Hagrid chuckles and brings his left-hand down to the baby dragon, stroking under it's chin with his finger while it let out a happy squeal.

"Hello, Norbert." Hagrid says

"Norbert?" Harry says

"Yeah, well, he's got to have a name, doesn't he?" Hagrid says

Devon smiled while Ron smiled and laughed under his breath.

"Don't you, Norbert?" Hagrid says

Hagrid twiddles his two fingers under Norbert's chin. The baby dragon lets out a hiccup and shoots a small fire blast at the half-giant's beard, which burns up.

"Ooh!" Hagrid exclaims

Hagrid quickly pats his beard with his right-hand to put out the smoldering embers.

"Ooh, ooh, ooh! Ooh! Well... he'll have to be trained up a bit, of course." Hagrid says

Norbert lets out another hiccup and some small sparks exit his mouth. The baby dragon sniffs the air, taking in all the new scents in the hut. His gaze soon turned to Devon and Norbert approached him with a curious expression.

"Hey, Norbert." Devon says

Devon lays down his right-hand flat infront of Norbert. The small dragon sniffs his open palm and nuzzles himself against his hand.

"You like me, huh?" Devon says

The Keyblade Wielder gently strokes his hand along Norbert's head and back. Norbert lets out a happy squeal and climbs up along Devon's arm. The baby dragon perches himself on Devon's shoulders like a cat with his lower body on Devon's right-shoulder and his head and wings over on his other shoulder. Norbert nuzzles Devon's face with his snout while the Keyblade Wielder smiles.

"Aww. He really is cute." Devon says

Harry, Ron, and Hermione all smile at the cute moment. Hagrid smiled as well. But then, something caught his eye which caused his expression to change. Hagrid looks over the four and saw someone outside at the window of his hut.

"Who's that?" Hagrid asks

Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione turn around and look at the window behind them. At the window was Malfoy, who was peeking inside to spy on them. Once they all turned toward him, Malfoy quickly ran out of view.

"Malfoy." Harry says

"Oh, dear." Hagrid says

After being spied on by Malfoy, Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione began making their way back to the Gryffindor Common Room, not wanting to be caught wandering the school after hours. They walked through the castle grounds, talking about Norbert and Malfoy.

"Hagrid always wanted a dragon. Told me so the first time I ever met him." Harry says

"It's crazy. And worse, Malfoy knows." Ron says

"I don't understand. Is that bad?" Devon asks

The four friends quickly stop when they saw Professor McGonagall standing in their path. She had come out from her classroom holding a candle in her right-hand, expecting Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

"It's bad." Ron says

"Good evening." McGonagall says

Malfoy steps out from behind Professor McGonagall and gives the Keyblade Wielder and the wizarding trio a wicked grin. He was going to enjoy watching his rivals receive their punishment.

Inside the Transfiguration Classroom, Professor McGonagall stood at her desk while Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione stood before her. Malfoy sat at one of the seats at the front of the classroom, enjoying the show.

"Nothing, I repeat, nothing gives a student the right to walk about the school at night. Therefore, as punishment for your actions, 50 points will be taken." McGonagall says

Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione stare at the Transfiguration teacher with widened eyes and open mouths in shock.

"50?" Harry asks

"Each. And to ensure it doesn't happen again, the four of you will receive detention." McGonagall says

Malfoy's smug expression quickly changed once he heard that. She couldn't have been talking about him, right? After all, Devon was in the room. Still, he wanted to be sure he was off the hook. Malfoy stood up and approached Professor McGonagall.

"Excuse me, Professor? Perhaps I heard you wrong. I thought you said the four of us." Malfoy says

"No, you heard me correctly, Mr. Malfoy. You see, honorable as your intentions were, you too were out after hours. You will join your classmates in detention tomorrow night." McGonagall says

Malfoy looks over at Devon and the Wizarding Trio, who look back at him with smug expressions of their own.

"Mmm. Guess you didn't take that into account, huh, Malfoy?" Devon says with a smirk

Malfoy gives Devon a nasty look, then glances back at Professor McGonagall.

"What about Devon? He was out of bed, too." Malfoy says

"You forget that Devon is a special guest here at Hogwarts. Although he is not a regular student, he has a right to the grounds be it day or night." McGonagall says

"I appreciate it, Professor McGonagall. But wherever Harry goes, I go too. And if he's going to be in detention, then I'm going with him and his friends." Devon says

Harry, Ron, and Hermione smile, happy to have Devon's support.

"If that is what you wish, Devon, then so be it." McGonagall says

The next night, Devon, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Malfoy served out detention together as Mr. Filch escorts them across the castle grounds, heading for Hagrid's hut at the bottom of the hill. Their detention would be a job in the Forbidden Forest.

"A pity they let the old punishments die. There was a time detention would find you hanging by your thumbs in the dungeons. God, I miss the screaming. You'll be serving detention with Hagrid tonight. He's got a little job to do inside the Dark Forest." Filch says

They soon reach Hagrid's hut, which had a small campfire made just outside. Standing outside the hut was the female unicorn, Alura LightHeart, who was very pleased to see Devon and his friends. Just like in the sunlight, her body glowed with light under the moonlight, making her appear even more beautiful. Hagrid came out of his hut just as the group approached with a lantern in his right-hand.

"A sorry lot this, Hagrid." Filch says

Hagrid said nothing as he picks up his crossbow and his quiver, which sat next to a stump near the fire, getting ready for his job in the Forbidden Forest. The group saw that he had a sad expression on his face.

"Oh, good god, man, you're not still on about that bloody dragon, are you?" Filch asks

"Hagrid? You okay?" Devon asks

Hagrid let out a sniffle, then turns to the group.

"Norbert's gone. Dumbledore had him sent to Romania to live in a colony." Hagrid says

"Well, that's good, isn't it? He'll be with his own kind." Hermione says

"Yeah, but what if he don't like Romania? What if all the other dragons are mean to him? He's only a baby, after all." Hagrid says

"Ron's brother is there. He can look after Norbert." Devon says

Mr. Filch rolls his eyes.

"Oh, for God's sake, pull yourself together, man. You're going into the forest, after all. Got to have your wits about you." Filch says

"The forest? I thought that was a joke. We can't go in there. Students aren't allowed. And there are..." Malfoy says

A howl sounds off in the forest.

"Werewolves!" Malfoy says

"There's more than werewolves in those trees, lad. You can be sure of that." Filch says

Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Malfoy share nervous glances with each other, not knowing what sort of creatures were lurking in the Forbidden Forest.

"Nighty-night." Filch says

Having done his job of escorting Devon and the four students to detention, Mr. Filch heads back to the castle, leaving them with Hagrid and Alura. The group watch him go, then turn to each other. Alura looks over at Devon and she smiles, happy to see him.

"Hello, Devon." Alura greets

"Hi, Alura." Devon greets

Devon walks over to the female unicorn and strokes his right-hand along her neck. He then turns to Harry, Ron, and Hermione and introduces them to Alura.

"Guys, this is Alura LightHeart. She's the unicorn I met when I first arrived to Hogwarts." Devon says

Devon turns and introduces Alura to the Wizarding Trio, gesturing his right-hand to them.

"Alura, these are my friends: Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and Harry Potter." Devon says

Alura looks over at Harry with great interest. She had been wanting to meet him since he arrived at Hogwarts.

"So you're Harry Potter. I've been watching you and Devon since your arrival on the train. It's a pleasure to meet you and your friends." Alura says

Harry, Ron, and Hermione wave their hands in greeting to Alura.

"Hi." Harry greets

"I wished our meeting would be under better circumstances, but there's trouble in the forest. Hagrid and I could really use your help." Alura says

"What kind of trouble?" Devon asks

"We'll explain later once we're in the forest." Alura says

"Right. Let's go." Hagrid says

And so, the group venture into the Forbidden Forest, heading through the trees and into the darkness.

Compared to as it was during the day, it was very difficult to navigate the forest at night. The forest was almost near pitch black at night. The tall trees stretched up to the night sky. Fog and mist covered the ground, hiding away the paths through the forest, not to mention tree roots and stumps, which were barely visible.

Hagrid and Alura led the group through the forest until they stop at a clearing. They notice something on the ground. A thick pool of silver liquid, which had a reflective surface. Hagrid sets down his crossbow and lowers down to the silver pool. He runs his left index and middle fingers through the liquid, rises back up, and examines it.

"Hagrid, what is that?" Harry asks

"What we're here for." Hagrid says

The half-giant shows the group the silver liquid covering his two fingers.

"See that? That's unicorn blood, that is. I found one dead a few weeks ago. Alura came to me because she was worried about her kind." Hagrid says

"There's an unknown predator lurking about in this forest. It's been hunting and killing off my fellow unicorns since the start of the school year. And each were drained of their blood. It began first with my sisters going missing. Then, my father. Now recently, my mother has disappeared. I fear she may have fallen to this evil menace." Alura says

Eerie howls echo in the forest, causing everyone to look around in silence.

"So, it's our job to go and find the poor beast." Hagrid says

Devon summons his Keyblade: Soul Calibur in a flash of blue light.

"Then, perhaps we should split up. We'll cover more ground that way." Devon says

Hagrid nods his head in agreement as does Alura.

"Right. Ron, Hermione, you'll come with me." Hagrid says

"Okay." Ron says nervously

"Devon, you go with Harry, and Malfoy." Hagrid says

Alura walks over to the Keyblade Wielder and the two young wizards.

"And I'll go with you." Alura says

Devon nods his heads in understanding.

"Okay, then I get Fang." Malfoy says

"Fine. Just so's you know, he's a bloody coward." Hagrid says

Fang lets out a whine, which causes Devon, Harry, and Malfoy to look over at the large dog.

Devon, Harry, Malfoy, Alura, and Fang walk together through the forest having split up from Hagrid, Ron, and Hermione as they search for the wounded unicorn. Malfoy held up the lantern while Devon had Soul Calibur out. The light from the lantern, Alura's glowing body, and the glowing crystal Keyblade helped light the way through the forest.

"Wait until my father hears about this. This is servant's stuff." Malfoy says

Alura looks over at Malfoy on her left with an annoyed look on her face and she whips him in the head with her tail.

"Hey!" Malfoy says

"Hmph. I've seen how you treat other students, Malfoy. Maybe you should have more respect for creatures lower than yourself." Alura says

"If I didn't know any better, Malfoy, I'd think you are scared." Harry says

"Scared, Potter?" Malfoy scoffs

A loud howl sounds off in the forest, causing the five to stop and look around.

"Did you hear that?" Malfoy asks

"Yeah. Whatever that was, it sounded close. We'd better keep moving." Devon says

Devon and his group continue onward, moving deeper into the forest. Walking along the path for several minutes, they come to a small hill with a clearing down below. They head down the hill and into the clearing. Suddenly, Fang starts to growl, which catches everyone's attention.

"What is it, Fang?" Harry asks

The three boys and unicorn look ahead of them and they were horrified by what they saw. Ahead of them was a dead unicorn laying on it's left-side near a large tree and a broken tree trunk. And feeding off it's corpse was a hooded figure, who was down on all fours, sucking out the blood of the slain unicorn through it's neck like a vampire.

Alura gasps in shock. As they stared at the horrific scene, Harry's scar started burning, which caused him to gasp in pain and hold his head with his right-hand. The hooded figure sensed their presence and glances up at the group with the unicorn's blood dripping from his mouth, letting out a menacing growl. Terrified by what he was seeing, Malfoy lets out a scream and runs away.

"Aah! Help!" Malfoy screams

Fang, being the cowardly dog he was, runs away with Malfoy, leaving Devon, Harry, and Alura behind as they run back the way they came. The two boys and unicorn watch as they flee, then glance back at the hooded figure, who glides along the ground towards them.

The mysterious figure flies up to his feet and began to slowly walk towards the trio, setting his sights on them. Devon, Harry, and Alura back away as the menacing stranger approaches them. If this was who they thought it was, then they were in some serious trouble. Harry trips on some roots on the ground and falls backwards. Alura backs up only to have her left-hind leg get caught in some roots, leaving her stuck. Seeing that both his friends were in trouble, Devon moves infront of Harry and Alura and points Soul Calibur at the hooded figure, who continued to approach them. Devon's grip on his Keyblade tightened with each step the figure took and he braced himself for whenever he decided to attack.

Suddenly, there was the sound of hoofbeats and the mysterious stranger immediately backs away. Devon, Harry, and Alura look up to see a large figure flying overhead. It was a centaur, who had come to save them. The centaur confronts the sinister figure and rears up on his hind legs, kicking his forelegs at him to fend him off. The hooded figure turns and flees the area, flying up into the darkness of the night.

Once the hooded figure was gone, Devon lets out a sigh of relief and de-summons his Keyblade. He helps Harry onto his feet, then the two boys help Alura free her leg from the roots. The centaur turns to the trio and approaches them. It was a male centaur named Firenze, who immediately recognized Alura once he saw her.

"Alura, what are you doing out here in the forest? It isn't safe for you, especially with that vile creature hunting your kind. I thought you would be staying close to the school." Firenze says

"Well, hello to you too, Firenze. I'm investigating these attacks just like you. This forest is my home, too. I couldn't just sit by and watch my sisters and my family fall victim to this evil. Besides, I have my new friends watching out for me." Alura says

Devon and Harry step forward as Alura glances over at them on her right. Firenze recognized the two boys and was a bit surprised to see the Keyblade Wielder and wizard boy with Alura, but he approaches them and speaks.

"Harry Potter, Devon, you must leave. You are known to many creatures here. The forest is not safe at this time. Especially for you two." Firenze says

"But what was that thing you saved us from?" Harry asks

"A monstrous creature. It is a terrible crime to slay a unicorn." Firenze says

Alura turns to the two boys.

"It's true. Unicorn blood has very potent magical properties. Drinking the blood of my kind will keep an individual alive, even if they are an inch from death. But it comes with a cost." Alura says

"Indeed it does. For you have slain something so pure that from the moment the blood touches your lips, you will have a half-life. A cursed life." Firenze says

"But who would choose such a life?" Devon asks

"Can you think of no one?" Firenze asks

"Do you mean to say that that thing that killed the unicorn, that was drinking it's blood, that was Voldemort?" Harry says

"Do you both know what is hidden in the school at this very moment?" Firenze asks

Devon and Harry share glances with each other as realization struck them. If Voldemort was lurking close to the school, there was only one thing he'd want.

"The Sorcerer's Stone!" Devon and Harry gasps

At that moment, Hagrid, Ron, Hermione, Malfoy, and Fang arrive at the clearing from behind Firenze.

"Harry! Devon!" Hermione exclaims

"Hello there, Firenze. I see you met our young friends, Devon and Harry Potter." Hagrid says

Hagrid looks over at Alura.

"You okay, Alura?" Hagrid asks

"Yes. I'm fine." Alura says

Then, Hagrid looks over at the two boys.

"You alright there, boys?" Hagrid asks

"Yeah. We're alright." Devon says

"Harry Potter, Devon." Firenze says

The two boys turn to the centaur.

"This is where I leave you. You're safe now. Good luck." Firenze says

Having said that, Firenze walks off, heading deeper into the forest, leaving the group at the clearing. Everyone looks over at the dead unicorn as it laid there on the ground. It was a tragic scene, especially for Alura. She walks over to fallen unicorn and hangs her head in sadness, mourning over the death of one of her kind. Devon walks up to Alura and stands alongside her as they stare down at the corpse.

"My mother. She was a unicorn who was fair and kind to many creatures in the forest. It's because of her she made me into what I am. She wanted me to be fair and kind just like her." Alura says

Devon places his right-hand on Alura's side, offering her comfort.

"I'm sorry, Alura. I wish we could've saved your mother. But don't worry. I'll find a way to put a stop to these killings. I promise you. No more unicorns will die." Devon says

Alura looks over at Devon with a hopeful smile on her face.

"Thank you, Devon." Alura says

Everyone continues to stare at the fallen unicorn as it laid on the ground. They had found the poor creature and solved the mystery behind the killings. But there was one thing still unknown. Who was killing the unicorns? Was it really Lord Voldemort trying to sustain his life? Or was it someone else?

Unknown to the group, another hooded figure watched them from a distance, standing up on a fallen tree. This figure wore a black coat. It was the same stranger that Devon and his friends met on the train. He watched them for few seconds, then disappeared into a dark corridor.

After surviving detention in the Forbidden Forest, Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione sat together in the Gryffindor Common Room, discussing what they saw that night. Devon leaned against the fireplace on his right-arm while the Wizarding Trio sat down in chairs nearby.

"You mean You-Know-Who's out there, right now, in the forest?" Hermione asks

"But he's weak. He's living off the unicorns. Don't you see? We had it wrong. Snape doesn't want the stone for himself. He wants the stone for Voldemort." Harry says

"Of course. The stone can produce the Elixir of Life. With that, Voldemort can revive himself and he'll become strong again." Devon says

"But if he comes back, you don't think he'll try to kill you, do you, Harry?" Ron asks

"I think if he had the chance, he might have tried to kill me tonight." Harry says

"And to think I've been worrying about my potions final." Ron says

"Hang on a minute. We're forgetting one thing. Who's the one wizard Voldemort always feared?" Hermione says

Devon, Harry, and Ron shared puzzled glances with each other.

"Dumbledore. As long as Dumbledore's around, Harry, you're safe. As long as Dumbledore's around, you can't be touched." Hermione says

"That's pretty much true. After all, Dumbledore's one of the greatest wizards of all time. I'm sure he's more than a match for Lord Voldemort. He wouldn't dare go up against him." Devon says

Harry nods his head in agreement.

The next day, Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione walk through the castle grounds, passing by other students in the courtyards as they continue on with their classes.

"I'd always heard that Hogwarts' end-of-the-year exams were frightful. But I found them rather enjoyable." Hermione says

"Speak for yourself." Ron says

Devon, Ron, and Hermione look over at Harry and notice that he was holding his head with his right-hand.

"All right there, Harry?" Ron asks

"My scar. It keeps burning." Harry says

"It's happened before." Hermione says

"Not like this." Harry says

"Do you think maybe you need to see the nurse?" Devon asks

"I think it's a warning. It means danger's coming. Uhh!" Harry says

The four friends soon heard music in the air. It sounded like a flute playing. Looking down the hill, they saw Hagrid sitting at the steps of his hut, playing his flute. As he stared at Hagrid, Harry realized something.

"Oh. Of course." Harry says

"What is it?" Hermione asks

Harry began heading down the hill toward Hagrid with the rest of his friends following behind him.

"Don't you think it's a bit odd that what Hagrid wants more than anything is a dragon and a stranger turns up who just happens to have one? I mean, how many people wander around with dragon eggs in their pocket? Why didn't I see it before?" Harry asks

"Now that you mention it, Harry, it certaintly is odd. It can't be a coincidence. Whoever gave Hagrid Norbert wouldn't have done it from the good of his heart. He'd must've wanted it for information. Probably on how to get past Fluffy and get the Sorcerer's Stone." Devon says

Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione run over to Hagrid and talk to him.

"Hagrid, who gave you the dragon egg?" Devon asks

"I told you. It was a stranger I met in the pub." Hagrid says

"What did he look like?" Devon asks

"I don't know. I never saw his face. He kept his hood up." Hagrid says

"A hood? Was he wearing a black coat?" Devon asks

"Actually, yes. He was." Hagrid says

A black coat could only mean one thing. The stranger that spoke to Hagrid must've been the exact same figure that Devon and his friends encountered on the train.

"This stranger, though, you knew he must've talked." Harry says

"Well, he wanted to know what sort of creatures I looked after. I told him. I said, 'After Fluffy, a dragon's gonna be no problem.'" Hagrid says

"Did he seem interested in Fluffy at all?" Devon asks

"Well, of course he was interested in Fluffy. How often do you come across a three-headed dog, even if you're in the trade?" Hagrid says

"Not often, I'm sure." Devon says crossing his arms

"But I told him, I said-I said 'The trick with any beast is to know how to calm him.' Take Fluffy for example. Just play him a bit of music, and he falls straight to sleep." Hagrid says

The Keyblade Wielder and the Wizarding Trio share shocked glances with each other. If Hagrid told this to the stranger that gave him Norbert, then he'd be able to slip past Fluffy. The Sorcerer's Stone was in danger! Hagrid saw their expressions and realized his mistake

"I shouldn't have told you that." Hagrid says

Without a word, Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione rush back to the castle.

"Where you going? Wait!" Hagrid says

The four heroes run through the halls and head for the Transfiguration Classroom. Inside was Professor McGonagall, who was sitting at her desk, doing some paperwork. Devon and his friends enter the room and run up to the professor's desk.

"Professor McGonagall! We need to see Professor Dumbledore immediately." Devon says

"I'm afraid Professor Dumbledore isn't here." McGonagall says

"Please. Where did he go?" Devon asks

"He received an urgent owl from the Ministry of Magic and left immediately for London." McGonagall says

"He's gone? Now? But this is important! This is about the Sorcerer's Stone." Harry says

Professor McGonagall stares at the Keyblade Wielder and the wizarding trio with a surprised expression.

"How do you know-" McGonagall says

"It's a long story. We've been doing some research, but the point is someone's trying to steal the stone." Devon says

"I can assure you, it is perfectly well-protected. Now would you please go back to your dormitories? Quietly." McGonagall says

Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione sigh with disappointment and they comply with Professor McGonagall's request.

"Okay, Professor. Sorry to have troubled you." Devon says

The heroes leave the classroom and head back out into the hall. Devon thought about what they had just learned. A figure wearing a black coat gives Hagrid Norbert as trade for information on bypassing Fluffy. And it was likely that he was working with Snape to help revive Lord Voldemort back into power. To Devon, a black coat could only mean one thing: Organization XIII was back.

"That was no stranger Hagrid met in the village. Remember that figure we met on the train? The one wearing a black coat? I think it was him. He must've tricked Hagrid into telling him about Fluffy and given that information to Snape." Devon says

"Which means that Snape knows how to get past Fluffy." Harry says

"And with Dumbledore gone-" Hermione says

"Good afternoon." A voice says

Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione turn around and saw Professor Snape standing behind them with a suspicious look on his face.

"Oh, hello, Professor Snape." Devon greets sheepishly

"Now what would three young Gryffindors and a Keyblade Wielder be doing inside on a day like this?" Snape asks

"Uh-We-we were just-" Hermione stutters

"You want to be careful. People will think you're..." Snape says

Snape looks over at Harry.

"...up to something." Snape says

Snape stares at the heroes for moment, then turns and walks off down the hall.

"Now what do we do?" Hermione asks

"It's pretty clear what our next move is. It's up to us to ensure the Sorcerer's Stone does not fall into Voldemort's hands." Devon says

"We go down the trap door. Tonight." Harry says
