It was night time at Hogwarts as the school stood peacefully quiet. Everyone in the school was asleep. All except for Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione, who prepared themselves for their mission to reach the Sorcerer's Stone before Snape and prevent it's theft. The Wizarding Trio changed out of their school outfits and changed into casual clothing.

Harry wore a red long sleeve sweater with khaki trousers and black shoes. Ron wore a plaid button long sleeve shirt with a blue shirt underneath, dark blue pants, and black shoes. And Hermione wore a multi-colored button sweater, black shorts, and long white legging socks with black shoes.

With their preparations made, Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione walk out of the dormitories and head downstairs to leave the Gryffindor Common Room. But they stopped when they saw a brown toad sitting on the left-arm of a red chair.

"Trevor. Trevor, shh! Go! You shouldn't be here!" Ron says

Neville leans out from the left of the chair and looks back at the four.

"Neither should you." Neville says

Neville stands up and faces Devon and his fellow students wearing his blue pajamas.

"You're sneaking out again, aren't you?" Neville asks

"Now, Neville, listen. We were-" Harry says

"No! I won't let you. You'll get Gryffindor into trouble again." Neville says

Neville brought up his fists like a boxer. Although he was a bit reluctant, he was willing to keep Gryffindor out of trouble, even if it meant standing up to his friends.

"I-I'll fight you." Neville says

"Neville, I'm really, really sorry about this." Hermione says

Hermione takes out her wand and points it at Neville. She then waves her wand and flicks it at Neville, casting a paralyzing spell.

"Petrifucus Totalus." Hermione chants

Neville's body instantly froze up with his arms snapped to his sides and legs snapped together. He falls backwards onto the floor with a thud, stiff as a board. With Neville down and immobilized, Hermione puts away her wand.

"You're a little scary sometimes, you know that? Brilliant, but scary." Ron says

"C'mon. Let's go." Devon says

The Keyblade Wielder and the Wizarding Trio move past the frozen Neville as he laid there on the floor, apologizing to him as they pass by.

"Sorry, Neville." Devon apologizes

"Sorry." Harry apologizes

"Sorry." Hermione apologizes

"It's for your own good, you know." Ron says

The four heroes moved through the halls of the school hiding out under Harry's Invisibility Cloak to keep them invisible. They soon enter the third-floor corridor and walk down to the door at the end of the hall. The door was locked, but Hermione brings out her wand to unlock it with her spell.

"Alohomora." Hermione chants quietly

The latch on the door unlocks and the heroes quietly enter the room. Upon entering, they saw the three-headed dog, Fluffy in the room infront of them. But just like their first visit, Fluffy was asleep. Not only that, there was the sound of music in the air.

"There's Fluffy." Devon says

"Wait a minute, he's..." Harry says

Fluffy exhales with it's strong breath, blowing off the Invisibility Cloak, revealing the four heroes.

"Snoring." Harry says

Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione look over to their right and they saw a harp playing by itself.

"Snape must've been here. He's put a spell on the harp." Devon says

The four turn back towards Fluffy and approach quietly, being very cautious not to wake the dog.

"Uhh! It's got horrible breath." Ron says in disgust

Devon looks down at the floor and saw the trapdoor with Fluffy's right-paw positioned right on top of it.

"There's the trapdoor. Under Fluffy's paw. We have to move it." Devon says pointing to the trapdoor with his left-hand

"What?" Ron asks

"Come on." Harry says

Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione lower down and grab hold of Fluffy's paw.

"Careful. And push." Devon says

Working together, they slowly move the dog's paw over to the left, away from the trapdoor. Once that was done, Devon lifts open the door and the heroes gather around the hole in the floor.

"I'll go first. Don't follow until I give you a sign. If anything happens to me, get yourselves out." Devon says

As they stood around the hole, they couldn't help but notice how quiet it was in the room.

"Does it seem a bit quiet to you?" Harry asks

The Keyblade Wielder and Wizarding Trio look over at the harp and notice that it stopped playing it's musical notes.

"The harp. It stopped playing." Hermione says

Suddenly, something wet and slobbery fell onto Ron's right-shoulder. It was drool.

"Ugh! Yuck! Ugh." Ron says in disgust

"Wait... If the harp stopped playing, doesn't that mean..." Devon says

Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione slowly glance up and saw Fluffy, now fully awake with all three heads growling at them.

"Oh... crud. Jump!" Devon exclaims

Moving quickly, Harry, Ron, and Hermione jump down into the hole. Fluffy bites down on the trapdoor, rips it off from it's hinges, and throws it to the right of the room. The door smashes into pieces upon impact with the wall. Devon was the last to jump down into the hole and he does it just as Fluffy goes to bite him. The large three-headed dog misses him by inches.

The four heroes fall through the air in a long and dark drop until they land in a chamber full of soft, springy tendrils and vines, which softened their landing. It was a chamber full of Devil's Snare.

"Whoa. Lucky this plant-thing was here, really." Ron says

Unfortunately, their moment of calm was soon short-lived when the vines and snake-like tendrils began to make their way towards the Keyblade Wielder and the Wizarding Trio.

"Whoa!" Harry exclaims

The plants started to twist around their bodies, catching them in their grip. Some vines wrap themselves around Devon's legs.

"Aah! What the-?!" Devon exclaims

Devon struggled to free his legs from the plants, but they were bound tight around them. His hands and arms were then caught in the vines. He tried to pull his arms out, but the plants kept a firm grip on them. Devon couldn't even summon his Keyblade to cut through the plants. Soon, Devon's entire body was constricted in the tendrils of the dangerous magic plant until he could move only his head. It seemed as the harder he struggled, the faster and tighter the plants wound around him.

"Gnh! Ngh! I can't get free!" Devon exclaims

The Keyblade Wielder looks around to see his friends constricted by the plants as well. Harry and Ron struggled against the plants like him, but Hermione just sat where she was, remaining still and calm.

"Stop moving. This is Devil's Snare. You have to relax. If you don't, it'll kill us faster." Hermione says

"Kill us faster?! Oh, now I can relax!" Ron says

As the boys continued their struggling, Hermione did her best to remain calm, maintaining a calm presence of mind. Then, she started to sink beneath the plants, disappearing from view of her friends. The three boys watched in shock as she sank. It looked as though the plants had devoured her.

"Hermione!" Devon, Harry, and Ron exclaim in unison

"Now, what are we gonna do?!" Ron asks

"Just relax." Hermione says

Devon, Harry, and Ron heard Hermione's voice in the chamber, but did not know where it was coming from.

"Hermione, where are you?" Harry asks

"There's a floor beneath you! Do what I say! Trust me!" Hermione says

"Okay... Okay..." Devon says to himself

Devon closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. He breathes in through his nose, then out through his mouth, trying to stay calm as possible. As he did, he felt the vines and tendrils easing it's grip on him. Seeing that it was working, he kept up with the calm breathing technique until he started to sink like Hermione did earlier. Harry followed his example and he, too, sank beneath the plants. Ron, being the most scared out of the four, watched in shock as his friends disappeared. Now, he was all alone, left at the mercy of the Devil's Snare.

"Aah! Devon! Harry!" Ron exclaims

Devon and Harry fall out from the Devil's Snare and they land on the floor down below. Hermione stood nearby and helped them up to their feet.

"Are you guys okay?" Hermione asks

"Yeah. We're fine." Devon says

"Help!" Ron exclaims

Devon, Harry, and Hermione look up at the Devil's Snare, knowing that Ron was still up there, trapped in the magic plant.

"He's not relaxing down, is he?" Harry asks

"No, he's not." Devon says shaking his head

"We've got to do something." Hermione says

"What?" Harry asks

"Hermione, is there anything else you know about Devil's Snare?" Devon asks

"I remember reading something in Herbology. Um..." Hermione says

Above them, Ron's mouth was soon covered by a tendril, which wraps itself around his head, silencing his screams. Hermione thought back to her lessons in Herbology.

"Devil's Snare, Devil's Snare, it's deadly fun... but will sulk in the sun! That's it! Devil's Snare hates sunlight!" Hermione says

Hermione takes out her wand and points it up at the magic plant.

"Lumus Solem!" Hermione chants

A bright, blinding flash of light shines forth from Hermione's wand, hitting the Devil's Snare. The plant lets out a loud roar as it hated the light and it's vines and tendril recoil and retreat. Ron is freed from the vines and he falls to the floor below, landing on his left-side. Devon and Harry help Ron up to his feet.

"Ron, you ok?" Harry asks

"Yeah." Ron says

Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione look back up at the Devil's Snare as now there was a large hole in the magic plant where Ron fell down.

"Whew! Lucky we didn't panic." Ron says

"Lucky Hermione pays attention in Herbology." Harry says

Suddenly, there was a fluttering sound in the air that caught the attention of the heroes.

"Hey, you guys hear that?" Devon asks

"What is that?" Hermione asks

"I don't know." Harry says

"Sounds like wings." Devon says

They glance over at a downward sloping passage where the sound seemed to be originating.

"It seems to be coming from that way. Let's keep moving." Devon says

Having survived the Devil's Snare, the Keyblade Wielder and the Wizarding Trio continue onward through the chambers to the next room, curious as to what awaited them next.

Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione enter a brilliantly lit chamber with a very high ceiling. Above them were glittering creatures that were flew around slowly through the air in a massive flock. At first, they appeared to be small birds. But, in fact, they were silver and gold keys with bug-like wings.

"Curious. I've never seen birds like these." Hermione says

"They're not birds, they're keys." Harry says

Devon looks across the room and he saw a large, old-fashioned wooden door with a silver lock. It was more than likely that this door led further into the underground chambers.

"Betcha one of them fits that door." Devon says pointing to the door ahead of them

The four heroes walk through the chamber and they saw a broom floating in the center of the room. Each of them looked on in confusion.

"What's all this about?" Hermione asks

"I don't know." Harry says

"Go check and see if you can open the door. Me and Harry will check this out." Devon says

Ron and Hermione nod in acknowledgement and they go over towards the door to try and open it. Harry placed his right-hand on the broom, stroking the long handle as he examined it.

"Strange." Harry says

Ron tried to open the door, but it was locked. He then tried the Unlocking Charm with his wand.

"Alohomora." Ron chants

Still, the door would not open. It seemed as though the door was impervious to magic. It became clear that the only way to proceed was to find the key that would unlock the door. But that was easier said than done as there were dozen keys flying around in the room. Ron and Hermione turn back towards Devon and Harry in defeat.

"Well, it was worth a try." Ron says

"Uhh! What are we gonna do? There must be a thousand keys up there." Hermione says

"We're looking for a big, old-fashioned one. Probably rusty, like the handle." Ron says

Devon and Harry look up at the huge flock of keys and they soon spot one that seemed like the one they were looking for.

"There! I see it! The one with the broken wing!" Harry says

A silver key flies overhead with it's left-wing broken.

"Yep. That must be it. The key definitely sticks out above the rest." Devon says

Harry looks down at the broom and he felt something was odd about the task at hand. Here was a broom floating in the middle of the room with a flock of keys flying around and he was expected to fly up and fetch it? It seemed a bit too easy.

"What's wrong, Harry?" Hermione asks

"It's too simple." Harry says

"I'm with Harry on this one. This looks almost too easy." Devon says

"Oh, go on, Harry! If Snape could catch it on that old broomstick, you can. You're the youngest Seeker in a century." Ron says

Harry and Devon share glances with each other, knowing that they had no other options. Devon pats Harry in the back with his left-hand for encouragement.

"Just try and think of this as Quidditch. The silver key is like the Golden Snitch." Devon says

Harry nods his head and faces the broom. He stretches his right-hand forward and grabs hold of it. As soon as he grabs it, the winged keys began flying erratically. The large flock flies down and attack Harry like stinging insects. Devon was forced back away from Harry as the keys attacked him. He shielded himself with his arms.

"This complicates things a bit." Ron says

Harry swings his left-arm around, trying to fend off the keys as he takes to the air on the broom. He pursues the silver key with the broken wing, chasing it around the room while the other keys kept on their attacks. Despite it's broken wing, the key flew swift and fast like the Golden Snitch in a Quidditch game. The chase went on for one or two minutes until Harry was able to grab the winged key in his right-hand. He then flies down to his friends, who watched him from down below.

"Catch the key!" Harry says

Harry throws the silver key down to his friends and flies back up to lure the attacking keys away. Hermione catches the winged key and goes to unlock the door. The task became difficult as the key struggled in her grip. Everytime she would try to insert the key into the keyhole, the key would shake around, making her miss.

"Hurry up!" Ron exclaims

Eventually, after a minute of struggling against the key, Hermione manages to unlock the door and get it open. Devon, Ron, and Hermione head on through, but keep it open for Harry as Devon calls out to him.

"Harry! The door's open! C'mon!" Devon shouts

With the winged keys still following him, Harry flies down from the high ceiling and shoots through the doorway, zipping past his friends. Devon quickly shuts the door as the winged keys fly toward him and his friends. All the keys crash into the door.

Continuing onward, Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione enter a dark chamber. It was so dark that it was impossible to see anything. They could barely make out some large shapes in the room and black and white squares on the floor.

"I don't like this. I don't like this at all." Hermione says

"Where are we?" Devon asks

"Looks like a graveyard." Harry says

"This is no graveyard. It's a chessboard." Ron says

Braziers light up from all sides of the room, illuminating the chamber. The heroes could now see more of room. The floor of the chamber was a huge chessboard with giant black and white faceless chess pieces standing on their respective sides. The Keyblade Wielder and the Wizarding Trio walked out onto the chessboard from the black side and looked around. Past the white chess pieces was the door that led further into the underground chambers, possibly to where the Sorcerer's Stone was.

"There's the door." Harry says

"C'mon. Let's keep moving." Devon says

Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione move forward towards the door, but were stopped by the pawns, which were enchanted as they drawed their dual swords and held them at their sides, forming line of 'X's to block their path and preventing them from going any further. The heroes took a couple steps back and the pawns sheathe their swords.

"Now what do we do?" Hermione asks

"It's obvious, isn't it? We got to play our way across the room. All right, Harry, you take the empty bishop's square. Hermione, you'll be the queen's side castle." Ron says

"What about you, Ron?" Devon asks

"As for me, I'll be a knight." Ron says

"Then, I'll be a knight, too." Devon says

Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione took up their spaces on the board on the black side. Harry stood on an empty bishop square on the right-side of the room. Hermione stood at the far right-side of the board. And Devon and Ron both rode the two black knights, sitting on the horses.

"Now what?" Hermione asks

"Well, white moves first. And then... we play." Ron says

The white side makes it's first move with a pawn moving up two squares. Ron looks over the pieces to plan his strategy when Hermione speaks to him.

"You don't suppose this is gonna be like... real Wizard's Chess, right?" Hermione asks

Ron glances over the black pieces, then commands a pawn two columns to his right to move up as an experiment.

"You there! D-5!" Ron says

The black pawn moves up three squares and stops close to the white pawn. The white pawn draws it's swords and strikes the black pawn down with a single strike, smashing it to pieces. Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione watched in shock and stare at the destroyed chess piece.

"Yes, Hermione. I think this is going to be exactly like Wizard's Chess." Ron says

And so, the game began. Ron called out the positions for the black pieces as he was the most experienced player in Wizard's Chess.

"Castle to E-4!" Ron commands

Some of the black pieces were able to destroy a few of the white pieces, giving some ground for the black pieces. Devon, Harry, and Hermione jump with a start as each piece, white or black, was destroyed.

"Pawn to C-3!" Ron commands

The game went on for several minutes with the black and white chess pieces destroying each other. It was a brutal game as the life-sized pieces exploded left and right across the board. The most lethal player was the white queen, which personally took out three black pieces. The white queen adds onto it's count by stabbing it's sword into a black rook standing on it's castle, shattering it to pieces, then strikes the castle down with a swing of it's sword, knocking it off the board and onto the side.

By this time, most of the black pieces were destroyed, leaving only a few on the heroes' side. The game was in white's favor. After destroying the rook, the white queen spins around to face the heroes. Devon, Ron, and Hermione were still positioned on the black side while Harry was over on the right-side of the board. Harry looks around at the layout of the board and notices something.

"Wait a minute." Harry says

"You understand right, Harry. Once I make my move, the queen will take me. Then, you're free to check the king." Ron says

Harry realized where Ron was going and reluctant to go through with it. The last thing he wanted was his friend to get hurt.

"No. Ron, no!" Harry says

"What is it?" Hermione asks

"He's going to sacrifice himself." Harry says

Devon and Hermione both shared shocked expressions and they look over at Ron.

"No, you can't! There must be another way!" Hermione says

Ron looks back at Hermione over his right-shoulder.

"Do you want to stop Snape from getting that stone or not?" Ron asks

He then looks over at Devon and Harry.

"Devon, Harry, it's you two that has to go on. I know it. Not me, not Hermione, just you two." Ron says

Devon and Harry share glances with each other and they knew that Ron was right. Looking back at Ron, they nod their heads to him to give him the go ahead. Ron turns back to the game, takes a deep breath to calm himself, then makes his move.

"Knight to H-3." Ron says

Ron and his black horse move up three squares from their position, then move left three squares, stopping only one square infront of the white king.

"Check." Ron says

Once Ron was settled in his position, the white side makes it's move. As predicted, the white queen turns to Ron and his horse and slides toward them, going all the way across the board to them, moving over seven squares. As soon as it reaches him, the white queen picks up it's sword and stabs the black horse, throwing Ron off it's back. Ron screams and falls backwards onto the board unconscious. The black horse tilts over on it's left-side and falls off the board.

"Ron!" Devon and Harry exclaim

Hermione was about to rush over towards Ron until Devon and Harry speak out to her.

"No! Don't move!" Harry says

"Remember, Hermione, we're still playing." Devon says

Hermione nods in understanding and she stands back on her position.

"Go on, Harry. Make your move. Check the king and end this." Devon says

Harry nods and does as he is told. He moves diagonally across the black squares from his position, then advances toward the white king. Once he reaches it, Harry calls the game, finishing it with one word.

"Checkmate." Harry says

The white king's sword slips out from it's hands and it falls onto the board with a loud clang. With the game finished, Devon, Harry, and Hermione rush over to Ron and kneel down to him. Luckily, he was alive, but was injured and unconscious.

"Hermione, get back up top. Take care of Ron. Then, go to the Owlery. Send a message for Dumbledore. We'll handle things from here." Devon says

"Ron's right. It's up to me and Devon. We have to go on." Harry says

"You'll be okay, Harry. You're a great wizard. You really are." Hermione says

Hermione looks over at Devon.

"And Devon. You're an amazing Keyblade Wielder." Hermione says

"Not as good as you." Harry says

"Heh. Me? Books and cleverness. There are more important things. Friendship and bravery. Harry, Devon, be careful." Hermione says

Devon and Harry both nod to Hermione, then rise up to their feet and continue onward, leaving both their friends behind.

The Keyblade Wielder and wizard boy traveled down the passages of the underground chambers, walking side-by-side with each other, continuing their mission to find the Sorcerer's Stone. They go down some stairs and soon began approaching the final room in the chambers. Hopefully, where the stone was waiting for them. As they got closer, Harry's scar started burning up and he brings his right-hand up to his head and gasps from the pain.

"Ahh!" Harry gasps

Devon looks over at Harry with a concern, noticing his pained expression.

"Scar acting up?" Devon asks

"Yeah. We must be getting close." Harry says

The two boys enter the final room and to their surprise they saw the Mirror of Erised in the chamber. But they also saw someone standing before the mirror, gazing into the reflective glass. Devon and Harry were both surprised and shocked by who it was.

"You?" Harry says

The mysterious figure turns around and reveals himself. It was none other than the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher.

"Professor Quirrell?" Devon says shocked

"No, it can't be. Snape-he was the one-" Harry says

"Yes, he does seem the type, doesn't he? And next to him, who would suspect p-p-poor st-t-tuddering Professor Quirrell?" Quirrell says

"But-but that day, during the Quidditch match, Snape tried to kill me." Harry says

"No, dear boy. I tried to kill you. And trust me, if Snape's cloak hadn't caught fire and broken my eye contact, I would have succeeded. Even with Snape muttering his little counter-curse." Quirrell says

Devon and Harry were baffled by what Quirrell said. What did he mean by counter-curse? Was that what Snape was muttering with his mouth at the time?

"Counter-curse?" Devon asks

"Snape was trying to save me?" Harry asks

"I knew that you, Potter, and you, Devon, were a danger to me from the off. Especially after Halloween." Quirrell says

"Halloween?" Devon asks

Devon and Harry were confused as to what Quirrell meant. But soon, the realization hit them. That night when Quirrell came running in, screaming about the troll. It wasn't just a coincidence after all. He planned it.

"Wait... The troll! You let the troll out of the dungeon and into the castle as a distraction so you could steal the stone!" Devon says

"Very good, Devon. Yes. Snape, unfortunately, wasn't fooled. While everyone else was running about the dungeon, he went to the third floor to head me off. He, of course, never trusted me again." Quirrell says

Quirrell turns back to the mirror and continues speaking. Harry's scar burns up again and he brings his hand back up to it, gasping in pain.

"He rarely left me alone. But he doesn't understand. I'm never alone. Never. Now... What does this mirror do? I see what I desire. I see myself holding the stone. But how do I get it?" Quirrell says

In that moment, a sinister voice whispers throughout the room. It sounded almost snake-like as it echoed all around Devon and Harry.

"Use the boy." The voice whispers

Quirrell turns to face the boys, then points up at Harry.

"Come here, Potter! Now!" Quirrell yells in a demanding voice

Harry walks down the stairs in the chamber towards Quirrell while Devon stood where he was at the top of the stairs. He soon came up to Quirrell and stops at his right-side.

"Tell me. What do you see?" Quirrell asks

Harry looks into the mirror and saw both himself and Quirrell. However, in the glass, Harry's reflection reaches into the right-side of his pants and takes something out from his pocket. His reflective self holds up an uncut red jewel in his hand and shows it to himself. It was the Sorcerer's Stone. The other Harry gave himself a wink with his right-eye, then places the stone back into his pocket. Harry puts his hand to his pocket and began to feel something inside. His head quickly looks up in surprise as he felt a drop in his pocket. The stone had actually transferred into his real pocket through the mirror. Quirrell became impatient and demanded Harry to tell him what he saw.

"What is it? What do you see?" Quirrell asks

Harry spoke to Quirrell, telling him a lie.

"I-I'm shaking hands with Dumbledore. I-I've won the House Cup." Harry says

The snake-like voice spoke in the room again, sensing Harry's deception. It knew he had the stone and was not fooled by his lie.

"He lies." The voice whispers

"Tell the truth! What do you see?!" Quirrell shouts

"Let me speak to him." The voice whispers

Quirrell turns to the mirror and speaks into it.

"Master, you are not strong enough." Quirrell says

"I have strength enough for this." The voice whispers

At that moment, Professor Quirrell began unwrapping his turban from his head. Devon walks down to Harry and stands by his right-side as they both watch Quirrell slowly remove his turban.

Soon, the turban came off, revealing a living face hidden in the back of Quirrell's head. It had red eyes and a snake-like slit where the nose should be. It was a weakened Lord Voldemort, living in a non-corporeal and parasitic state, using Quirrell's body as his host. Devon and Harry stared with widened eyes and shocked expressions. The Dark Wizard, Lord Voldemort, was finally revealed.

"Harry Potter, we meet again." Voldemort says

"Voldemort." Harry says

"So, you're Lord Voldemort." Devon says

"Yes. See what I have become? See what I must do to survive? Live off another. A mere parasite." Voldemort says

"You mean like the unicorns you've been feeding off of in the Forbidden Forest? You murdered innocent unicorns, most of whom were family to one!" Devon says

"Unicorn blood had strengthened me these past weeks. It's powerful essence can sustain me, but it cannot give me a body of my own. But there is something that can. Something that, conveniently enough, Harry, lies in your pocket." Voldemort says

Harry looks down at his pocket, then looks up at Devon.

"Run!" Devon yells

Devon and Harry turn and run back up the stairs to make a run for it.

"Stop them!" Voldemort says

Quirrell snaps his right-middle finger and a wall of flame appears infront of the two boys, cutting off their escape. Soon, fiery walls began surrounding the entire chamber, blocking off all the exits to the room. With nowhere to run, Devon and Harry turn and face Quirrell and Voldemort.

"Don't be a fool. Why suffer a horrific death when you can join me and live?" Voldemort says

"Never!" Harry says defiantly

Voldemort laughs.

"Bravery. Your parents had it, too. Tell me, Harry, would you like to see your mother and father again?" Voldemort says

Harry looks down at the Mirror of Erised and he saw the images of his parents in the reflective glass, appearing next to Voldemort as he spoke.

"Together, we can bring them back. All I ask is for something in return." Voldemort says

Devon gives the two villains a defiant stare, then looks over at Harry. Already, he could see he was reaching for his pocket, where the stone was kept inside.

"Harry, don't. You know he's lying." Devon says

Harry looks at Devon for a brief moment, then takes the stone out from his pocket, holding it in his hand.

"That's it, Harry. There is no good and evil. There is only power and those too weak to seek it. Together, we'll do extraordinary things. Just give me the stone!" Voldemort says

Devon took a step forward and held out his left-hand infront of Harry, standing infront of the wizard boy to protect him.

"You're wrong, Voldemort! It's what a person does with that power that defines them! You used power to set yourself above others. To spread fear and chaos amongst innocent people! And you used power to destroy your enemies! That alone tells me what you truly are. A power-obsessed, evil tyrant who cares about no one and nothing but himself! A tyrant who murders, lies, cheats, and abuses others for your own sick purposes. It's what you did to Harry and his family! To Alura and the unicorns! And it's what you did to so many other people in this world! All you offer is false promises and twisted lies!" Devon yells

Harry stares at Devon, surprised by his words. Then, the wizard boy glances over at the mirror and saw his parents fade away. Devon was right. Voldemort was lying.

"You liar!" Harry shouts

"Kill him!" Voldemort says

Quirrell flies up to Harry and tackles him to the floor. Gripping his hands around Harry's throat, he proceeds to choke the life out of him.

"Harry!" Devon exclaims

Devon summons his Keyblade: Soul Calibur into his right-hand in a flash of blue light and runs up the stairs to help Harry. But before Devon could reach them, Quirrell thrusts his left-hand toward him, blasting the Keyblade Wielder away with telekinetic force. Devon was thrown backwards and he slams hard against the nearby wall of the chamber. Upon impact, he drops his crystal Keyblade, which falls and disappears in a flash of light. Then, he falls and lands flat on his stomach, stunned and dazed, reeling in pain.

With Devon out of the way, Quirrell focuses back on Harry and continues to strangle him, tightening his hands around his throat. Harry wheezes as he struggles to breathe. The stone had been knocked out of his grip and was only inches away from his right-hand. He tries to reach for it, but was unable escape from Quirrell's grip on him. Eventually, Harry finds the strength to fight back and he grabs hold of Quirrell's right-hand. Upon contact, his touch burns Quirrell's hand, causing him to scream in pain and shock.

"Aah! Aaaaaaahhhh!" Quirrell screams

Quirrell backs away from Harry, grabbing hold of his hand, which was now turning to dust and crumbling away. Harry sits up and looks at his hands with a surprised expression. Did his hands hurt him? Devon pushes himself up and looks out infront of him to see Quirrell backing away from Harry, glancing down and holding his hand as it turned to ash and slowly crumbled away.

"What is this magic?!" Quirrell asks in terror

"Fool! Get the stone!" Voldemort shouts

Harry glances back at the stone on his right, then looks back at Quirrell as he went for the stone, reaching out with his remaining hand. The wizard boy stands up and grabs Quirrell's face with his hands, causing his face to blister and burn up.

"Aaaaaaah!" Quirrell screams

Quirrell backs away from Harry until he was up against the wall behind him. His whole body turns to ash and he starts to crack. Quirrell stretches his left-hand out towards Harry and advances toward him as his body crumbles away, but his legs crumbles and he falls down. Then, his head breaks apart until finally he falls onto the floor and disintegrates into dust, leaving only his robe as the last remnants of his existence.

Devon manages to recover from Quirrell's attack and he rises up and walks over to Harry.

"Devon? Are you okay?" Harry asks

"Ngh... Yeah. I've been dealt worse." Devon says

Devon and Harry stare at the pile of dust that used to be Quirrell, still in shock by what they saw.

"I guess that's the end for Professor Quirrell and Lord Voldemort." Devon says

The two boys turn around and they look down at the stone as it sat on the steps of the staircase. They walk over and Harry picks up the stone in his right-hand.

"Well, at least were able to get the stone before they did." Devon says

Suddenly, there was the sound of wind in the air. Devon and Harry knew that something was wrong and they slowly turn around. What they saw was a ghostly cloud hovering infront of them. As they stared at the cloud, Devon and Harry saw a face appear. It was Voldemort in the form of a disembodied soul. Voldemort flies forward at Harry, letting out a scream as he attacked him.

"Aaaaaaahhh!" Voldemort screams

The Dark Wizard's ghostly soul flies through Harry's body, causing him to scream as his scar burns up with intense pain.

"Aaahhhh!" Harry screams

Harry falls backwards and collapses on his back while Devon stares in shock and horror. Devon watches as Voldemort's soul flies around the chamber, then ducks down as he flew towards him. The disembodied soul flies over Devon and goes up the staircase. Devon rises up and watches as the disembodied soul passes through the wall of flames, then disappears out of sight within the underground chambers. After he was gone, Devon immediately turns to Harry, who was now down on the floor unconscious.

"Harry!" Devon screams

Devon rushes over to Harry and kneels down to him.

"Harry? Harry! Can you hear me?! Harry!" Devon says

The Keyblade Wielder puts his ear to Harry's chest to listen for a heartbeat and sighs with relief when he heard his heart was still beating with life. Devon places his right-hand on Harry's left-shoulder as he prepared to move him to safety.

"Hold on, Harry. I'm gonna get you out of here." Devon says

Just as Devon was about to pick up Harry, a voice spoke to him.

"So, you are the one. The boy chosen by the Keyblade... Devon." The voice says

Devon glances up at his right and saw a dark hooded figure standing behind the wall of flames at the entrance to the chamber. It was the one he saw on the Hogwarts Express. The hooded figure walks through the fiery wall and proceeds down the stairs towards Devon and Harry. Devon places his left-hand over Harry's chest and summons Soul Calibur in his other hand, holding it out in defense.

"Who are you?" Devon asks in a demanding voice

The figure folds back his hood, revealing his face to Devon. He appeared to be a young youth at the age of 18. He had mildly tan skin, golden eyes, and silver hair that both slightly spikes and falls past his shoulders in the back. This was Xehanort, rather his younger self from the distant past.

"Out of all the others, you are the most unique amongst them. A boy destined for greatness. The self-proclaimed Chosen One. Destined to restore the balance of Light and Dark, and defeat the most powerful entity in all of existence." Young Xehanort says

"I take it you've heard of me?" Devon says raising his right-eyebrow

"Oh, yes. You are as every bit as described in the legends. There is much striding on you. If I were you, I wouldn't let all that power go to my head." Young Xehanort says

"You're the one who tricked Hagrid into telling him about the stone, aren't you? The one who tricked him into telling how to slip past Fluffy?" Devon says

"Oh, please. That big oaf can't so much as keep his mouth shut. Let alone keep a secret. Individuals like him are easily manipulated. Give what the hearts desire and they'll tell you anything." Young Xehanort says

"Hagrid is a good friend of mine! He's a person with a good heart in service to one of the greatest wizards of all time, and I'd appreciate it if you would not talk of him like he was a simple-minded fool! And if you're here for the stone, forget it! You're not getting your hands on it!" Devon says

"You can keep it. I have no need for such trinkets. There are other ways the Dark Wizard can return." Young Xehanort says

"You're working with him, aren't you? Lord Voldemort? After all, you told him about the stone." Devon asks

"Let's just say that he is a close ally to the Dark Lord of the Shadows, and he will do anything to help him return to power." Young Xehanort says

Devon stares at Young Xehanort in shock. Lord Voldemort was an ally of Teridax?

"What?" Devon says

Young Xehanort turns around and walks back up the stairs. A dark corridor opens up infront of him at the top of the stairs. Before he heads inside, Young Xehanort stops and looks back over his left-shoulder down at Devon.

"You've only just begun to walk the path of destiny. Stray from that path and you will find yourself trapped in this wakeless slumber... doomed to wander alone forever." Young Xehanort says

Having said that, Young Xehanort turns and takes his leave, disappearing into the dark corridor.

"Wait!" Devon says

Devon was about to run up after Young Xehanort until he heard something behind him. But before he could turn around to face it, he was thrown back against the stairs and was knocked unconscious. Devon falls onto his left-side and lies next to Harry in the now quiet chamber. Just before he slips out of consciousness, Devon heard footsteps approaching from behind him. He looks over at the Mirror of Erised and he saw someone in the reflective glass. But he couldn't get a good look as his vision blurs and his eyes close shut.

Author's Note: Time to venture down in the dungeons. Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione set out to reach the stone before it's theft and they face many trials. First, there was Fluffy. Then, there was the Devil's Snare, the winged keys, and the Chessboard Chamber. Devon and Harry reach the final chamber and find the Mirror of Erised along with Professor Quirrell. Then, there's a shocking surprise as Lord Voldemort is revealed in the back of Quirrell's head, weakened as a disembodied soul. The two villains try to kill Devon and Harry, but Harry's touch, which has some sort of protective charm defeats them. Afterwards, the hooded figure arrives and reveals himself as Young Xehanort. In the ensuing confrontation, he reveals that Lord Voldemort is, in fact, an ally of the Dark Lord of the Shadows. Not surprising for all of us I'm sure, but very surprising for Devon. And so, the quest for the Sorcerer's Stone is now over. Let me know what you guys think. No flames please. Hope you guys like and don't forget to review!
