(Geonosis)
Embarking on their mission to save Obi-Wan, Devon, Anakin, and Padmé now arrive at Geonosis and fly down to the planet, bypassing the orbiting ring of rocks surrounding it. Coming down to the surface, the chromium Nubian Yacht soars across the rocky, desert-like landscape, flying over mesas and through valleys. Devon gazes out through the view of the cockpit, taking in the scenery of the new planet.
"So, this is Geonosis, huh? Looks like we just went from one desert planet to another." Devon says
The trio soon saw three columns of steam ahead of them, which rose out through underground vents on the surface.
"See those columns of steam straight ahead? They're exhaust vents of some type." Padmé says pointing out with her left-hand
"Then, that's our way in." Devon says
"That'll do." Anakin says
Taking the controls, Anakin flies the ship into one of the steam columns and lands on a hidden platform inside.
"Look, whatever happens out there, follow my lead. I'm not interested in getting into a war here. As a member of the senate, maybe I can find a diplomatic solution to this mess." Padmé says
"Don't worry. I've given up trying to argue with you." Anakin says
Devon, Anakin, and Padmé head out of the ship, leaving R2-D2 and C-3PO to talk amongst themselves. The astromech droid whistles and beeps as he looks up at the silver protocol droid, insisting that they should follow them.
"My obtuse little friend, if they had needed our help, they would've asked for it, hmm? You obviously have a great deal to learn about human behavior." C-3PO says
R2 whistles and beeps again.
Devon, Anakin, and Padmé walk down the ramp, stepping out of the ship move through the steam column. They find a door, which opens automatically on their approach, and head on through, coming into a dark, warm corridor. The door closes behind them and the heroes continue onward.
Back in the ship, R2 and C-3PO were still talking to each other. R2 whistles and beeps.
"For a mechanic, you seem to do an excessive amount of thinking." C-3PO says
R2 beeps again.
"I am programmed to understand humans!" C-3PO says
R2 beeps again.
"'What does that mean?' Oh! That means I am in charge here!" C-3PO says
Not wanting to sit around, R2 beeps a raspberry and ignores C-3PO as he rolls out of the cockpit while the protocol droid watches him go.
"Where are you going now? You don't know what's out there. Have you no sense at all? Oh! Idiot!" C-3PO says
Although he was hesitant to leave the ship, C-3PO reluctantly followed R2 as they head out to follow the heroic trio. The two droids move down the ship's ramp and walk out into the steam vent.
"Please wait. Do you know where you're going?" C-3PO says
The heroes proceed down the dark corridor, sticking together as they ventured forth into the hive. Devon took the lead with Anakin on his left and Padmé on his right. Unknown to them, a couple of Geonosians emerged silently from storage alcoves along the sides behind them as the trio moves further down. Soon, they stop as Devon and Anakin felt something was wrong.
"Wait." Anakin says
"I don't think we're alone." Devon says
The Keyblade Wielder and Jedi Padawan shared glances with each other as they both sensed danger.
Suddenly, three Geonosian comes up behind the heroes, squawking at them as they attacked, causing the trio to immediately turn around. Devon summons his Keyblade: Soul Calibur into his right-hand and Anakin ignites his blue lightsaber as they defend themselves against the insectoids.
Devon cuts down a Geonosian with a downward slash on it's head, and an upward slash, which sends it flying. Another Geonosian charges at Devon, but he rams the hilt of his Keyblade into it's head, knocking it back, then strikes it down with a right slash.
Anakin spins his lightsaber and slices a Geonosian vertically in half with an upward slash, then chops off the head of another Geonosian with a left slash.
R2 and C-3PO come into the corridor just as more Geonosians swarm out from an alcove on their left in a flight from Devon's Keyblade and Anakin's lightsaber.
Padmé headed for a entranceway up ahead as it opened up while Devon and Anakin held off the Geonosians.
Anakin slices a Geonosian vertically in half with an upward slash, chops down another with a right slash, then kicks a third one back with his left-foot and cuts it down with downward slash.
Devon swings Soul Calibur down on a Geonosian, whacking it in the head, then spins around and delivers a roundhouse kick using his right-foot, knocking it down to the metal floor. Stretching his left-hand out and using the Force, Devon sends another Geonosian flying up into the ceiling before hurling the insectoid back with a thrust of his hand. Taking hold of Soul Calibur with both hands, Devon uses a Firaga spell and shoots a large fireball, which blasts away three Geonosians and causes the others to scatter.
Once the insectoids were gone, Devon de-summons his Keyblade while Anakin shuts off his lightsaber as they move to catch up with Padmé.
The trio heads through the entranceway and they stumble into one of the droid assembly plants. Suddenly, the floor beneath them began to slide backwards. Devon and Anakin grab hold of the door, but Padmé loses her balance and screams as she falls onto a conveyor belt down below.
"Padmé!" Devon and Anakin exclaim in unison
Padmé rolls onto the belt where thick, yellow-orange square blocks of rich asteroids from the belt of Geonosis were moved along in rows of two, passing through an orange energy field, smelted by lasers, and then pressed down by compressors.
Devon and Anakin jump down onto the belt and try to catch up with her, but more Geonosians fly down to the Keyblade Wielder and Jedi Padawan and attack them.
A Geonosian comes flying at Devon, but he swings his Keyblade into it's body with a left slash, and slams the insectoid down onto the belt. Rising back up, he cuts through another insectoid that charged at him with a right backflip slash.
Anakin turns around and slices a Geonosian vertically in half as it came up behind him and strikes down another on his left with a quick slash, causing it to fall backwards onto the belt and get crushed by a compressor.
A fourth Geonosian flies up infront of the heroes and fires it's sonic blaster at them, shooting three spheres of condensed, concussive sonic energy, encapsulated within a containment sphere. Devon and Anakin both jumped and rolled out of the way, dodging the blasts. Rolling onto his feet, Devon hurls his Keyblade at the Geonosian and knocks it down onto the belt.
Up ahead, Padmé was approaching some heavy compressors, which pressed the square blocks as they were moved into position by mechanical arms into fit molds, and would crush her if she was not careful. The senator moves backwards, fighting against the flowing conveyor belt as she was being forced forward. Timing her movements, she moved across the belt, avoiding the heavy machinery as they pounded down on the flat, thick pieces of molten metal.
Devon and Anakin both cut down two Geonosians with their weapons and jump down onto another conveyor belt, which had droid parts being welded together, and ride it down, having been separated from Padmé.
While the heroes were busy, C-3PO stops at the doorway and is surprised at what he sees. He saw all the dozens of assembly lines building and producing battle droids, droidekas, vehicles, weapons and military parts and he stares out in awe.
"Oh, my goodness! Shut me down! Machines making machines. How perverse." C-3PO says
R2 rolls up and bumps into C-3PO, almost knocking him off.
"Oh! Calm down, R2. I almost fell." C-3PO says
R2 backs up and bumps into C-3PO again.
"You'll get your chance-" C-3PO says
Before he could finish, C-3PO falls over the side of the entranceway and falls several feet into the massive foundry. Luckily for him, he lands and catches onto a large cargo block, which was being carried by a hovering Short-Range Transport droid as it flies underneath him.
This droid was a model utilized by the Geonosians for carrying cargo and other items. It had two flat, fork-like prongs extending from its squat body with two smaller manipulator arms above for grasping and gripping items, a wide, domed head, and two red eye-like sensors.
"Oh! I'm scrap." C-3PO says
The large droid picks up C-3PO by his head with it's left-arm and holds him up.
"It's a nightmare!" C-3PO exclaims in panic
The SRT droid tries to shake C-3PO, but he clings onto it's spindly arm. The droid then grabs C-3PO with it's right-arm and holds him upside down by his right-foot.
"I want to go home!" C-3PO says
The droid drops C-3PO, causing him to fall through the air.
"Ahh!" C-3PO screams
The silver protocol droid falls and land face first onto a droid assembly line.
"Oh, what did I do to deserve this?" C-3PO asks pushing himself up
Back up on the entranceway, R2-D2 activates his jet propulsion system with booster jets extending out from his legs and takes to the air, flying above the assembly plant as he goes to protect Padmé.
Devon and Anakin were making their own way across the foundry, slicing through machinery and Geonosians that stood in their path as they rode along their conveyor belt.
In another part of the foundry, a Geonosian flies up to Padmé and tries to grab her. Padmé wrestles with the insectoid until she trips and falls into a large cauldron, which was then picked up and brought onto an assembly line with several other cauldrons of the same size as they were being moved toward a furnace where molten lava would be dumped into it.
R2 was still flying through the assembly plant while down below C-3PO stood on his conveyer belt, walking along it's length.
"Hmm. I wonder what happened to poor little R2. He's always getting himself into trouble." C-3PO says
Suddenly, C-3PO's head was knocked off his body by moving machinery and landed in another conveyor belt, which carried the heads of battle droids.
"Oh, no!" C-3PO exclaims
C-3PO's body wanders onto an separate belt, which carried the battle droid's bodies. Unaware of the mix-up, the machines continued their construction and grafted a battle droid's head onto C-3PO's body.
"Uh-oh." The battle droid says
C-3PO's head was picked up from it's belt and grafted onto a battle droid's body.
"Oh, I'm so confused." C-3PO says
Devon and Anakin were still together as they rode the conveyor belt when seven Geonosians flew down to them.
One of the insectoids fired it's sonic blaster, shooting spheres of sonic energy at Anakin, who rolls over to the right. Rising back to his feet, he stretches his left-hand out toward several robotic arms above him, reaching out the Force. He sends them into the Geonosian, knocking it off the conveyor belt. Then, he reaches out toward a droideka body and sends it flying at two Geonosians, knocking them off the belt as well.
Devon throws his Keyblade at two Geonosians and knocks them off the belt, then swings Soul Calibur with a right slash, using an Aeroga spell to blow away two more Geonosians off the belt.
After dealing with the insectoids, Devon and Anakin jumps up onto another belt above them. Devon saw a mechanical arm coming toward him and quickly ducks down. He turns around and his eyes widened as it now headed straight for Anakin.
"Anakin, watch out!" Devon warns
Anakin turns around, but it was too late as he was knocked down to the ground. Before he could get back up, a metal piece is pushed down on Anakin's left-arm, pinning him in place onto the conveyor belt as it was being welded down.
"Hold on!" Devon says
Devon rushes over to Anakin to help him, but before he could reach him, a Geonosian flies into the young teen and carries him away.
"No! Anakin!" Devon exclaims
As the Keyblade Wielder was taken away, the Jedi Padawan were now coming up to some more heavy machinery. But these machines were armed with large razor blades, which could cleave him in two if he were not careful.
Padmé was still trapped inside the cauldron, trying to find a way out. She was now in the furnace and her cauldron was coming up to a lava dispenser. She was the third cauldron in line.
R2 flies in and saw that Padmé was in trouble. He saw a control panel on a platform that overlooked the assembly line and heads down to it.
Padmé's cauldron was now only one away from having lava dispensed into it. If Padmé cannot escape, she would be melted by the lava. R2 lands onto the platform and rolls over to the control panel. He extends his scomp link and goes to access the controls for the assembly line.
At this point, the lava dispenser was now directly over Padmé, ready to release lava into the cauldron. But before it could, R2 gains control of the lava dispenser and shuts down the machinery just in time to save her. Accessing further into the controls, R2 releases the claw that held the cauldron, dropping it onto a walkway. Padmé rolls out of the cauldron and lets out a sigh of relief.
Devon was fighting to free himself from the winged Geonosian as it flies through the foundry, carrying him by his arms. He flailed his legs around and swung back and forth against the grip of the insectoid.
"Gah! Hnng... Gnh! Let... go of me! Get... your hands off!" Devon grunts
After minutes of struggling, Devon manages to flip around and kick the Geonosian in the head under it's chin, causing it to release him. Devon falls through the air and lands on a conveyor belt carrying droideka bodies. Rising up to his feet, he was confronted by six Geonosians, who aimed their sonic blasters at him. Summoning Soul Calibur back into his hand, the Keyblade Wielder got into battle stance as he stood against the insectoids.
Two of the Geonosians fired their blasters at Devon, both shooting two spheres of sonic energy. Devon jumps left and right, performing cartwheels and spinning flips as he dodges the sonic blasts. Afterwards, he leaps forward at the insectoids with a right spinning slash, knocking them both aside. Then, he hits the third Geonosian with a right diagonal slash and a left slash, and kicks it away with a reverse roundhouse kick.
The other three Geonosians aimed their weapons at Devon and prepared to fire. But before they could get the chance, Devon takes his Keyblade with both hands and spins around to the left, creating a miniature tornado, which sucks up several unfinished droidekas on the belt and the Geonosians, who screeched in panic, before the tornado disperses in a strong gust of wind, sending the droid parts and insectoids flying multiple directions.
Anakin was still having troubles of his own as he tried to get his arm free. He was coming up to one of the metal blades. He moves his body so that he wouldn't be cut in half. The razor blade cleaves down on Anakin's trapped arm, but luckily it doesn't cut all the way through to cut off his arm.
The Jedi Padawan was coming up to another set of blades. Again, he moves his body, but this time the blade cuts through frees Anakin's arm, but it also slices his lightsaber in half. Anakin gets back on his feet and was about to ignite his lightsaber when he looked down and noticed the severed emitter as it sparked. The Jedi Padawan sighs.
"Oh, not again. Obi-Wan's gonna kill me." Anakin groans
Padmé rises up onto her feet, only to find herself surrounded by Geonosians both on the ground and in the air, all aiming their sonic blasters at her.
Several Droidekas rolled up to Anakin on his conveyor belt, which had now stopped, and unfolded into combat ready stance, aiming their twin blasters at him.
The movement in the conveyor belt grinds to a stop beneath Devon's feet, causing him to lose his balance and fall backwards on his rear. Before he could get back up, Jango Fett flies down on his new Merr-Sonn JT-12 jetpack and quickly aimed both his blaster pistols at Devon.
"Whoa!" Devon exclaims
"Don't move, Keyblade Wielder! Take him away." Jango says
Devon let out a sigh of defeat and he raises his hands in surrender as droidekas roll up and unfold and aimed their blasters at him.
After being captured by Jango Fett and the Geonosians, Devon, Anakin and Padmé were sentenced to be executed and sent to the Petranaki Arena, an area used for gladiatorial fights against deadly beasts for entertainment and disposing of prisoners. They were put onto chariots and were handcuffed to keep them restrained.
The chariots were pulled by Orrays, sturdy quadruped reptilian creatures that were native to the deserts of Geonosis, but were tamed and domesticated by the Geonosians, primarily used as mounts and beasts of burden. They were two meters high and three meters long, distinguished by their long snouts and tails. The Orrays that were tamed had their tails removed and replaced with metal caps to cover their stumps.
Devon was put into a separate chariot while Anakin and Padmé stood together in another chariot behind him.
"Don't be afraid." Anakin says
"I'm not afraid to die. I've been dying a little each day since you came back into my life." Padmé says
"What are you talking about?" Anakin asks
"I love you." Padmé says
"You love me? I thought that we had decided not to fall in love, that we would be forced to live a lie, and that it would destroy our lives." Anakin says
"I think our lives are about to be destroyed anyway. I truly, deeply, love you, and before we die, I want you to know." Padmé says in a soft voice
Anakin and Padmé lean closer to each other and kiss passionately. Devon looked back over his right-shoulder and watched as the Jedi Padawan and Senator in their romantic moment. As he did, he could see his Mother, Shara, and his Father, Ducar kissing each other. Devon smiled upon seeing this.
"Don't worry." Devon says
Devon's voice drew Anakin and Padmé's attention, causing them to pull apart and look toward him.
"We'll figure a way out of this. Somehow." Devon says
The two Geonosians standing nearby mounted the chariots and the trio were brought out into the arena where dozens of Geonosians were in the stands, waiting to watch them suffer at the deadly beasts of the arena.
The arena was a circular natural hollow rock formation carved out by millennia of weathering, with large spires built and additions made by the Geonosians. Its floor was flat and made of sand and silt. The lower walls of the arena base included ancient low-relief carvings depicting famous battles and events. In the center of the arena were four red-brown stone columns.
Obi-Wan was already in the arena when the trio were brought forward. His hands were bound in chains and held high up on the column.
The trio stepped off their chariot and were brought over to their own column. Padmé was secretly picking at her binds, ensuring that the Geonosians did not notice. Devon, Anakin, and Padmé were put up against the columns and the Geonosians flew up and put the chains into place.
"I was beginning to wonder if you'd got my message." Obi-Wan says
"We retransmitted it just as you had requested, Master." Anakin says
"Then, we decided to come and rescue you." Devon says
"Good job." Obi-Wan says
Devon shrugged his shoulders.
"Meh, could've gone better." Devon says
The heroes were positioned from left to right with Devon on the first column to the far left, Padmé next to him on the second column, Anakin to her left on the third, and Obi-Wan already on the fourth column to the far right.
Up in the stand overlooking the arena, Lord Drazor, Count Dooku, Jango Fett, Boba Fett, Nute Gunray, Rune Haako, and Archduke Poggle the Lesser stepped forward.
"[Horn] kwy atoe a kray [click, click] yu [click, click]. (Settle down. Settle down.)" Poggle says in Geonosian
The crowd of Geonosians immediately quieted down into a brief silence as the archduke spoke.
"[Horn] bey [click] oh zee barote hundit. (Let the executions begin.)" Poggle says in Geonosian
Upon hearing that, the crowd cheers and the gates at the far end of the arena opposite of where Devon, Anakin, Obi-wan and Padmé raised open.
The first creature to step out was a Reek, which lets out a loud roar.
A Reek was a large, thick-skinned, horned, rhino-esque quadruped creature native to Ylesia. It had a single central horn atop it's head, a cheek horn on either side, a sprawled posture, and two-toed feet. Most of it's sprawled body was dark gray colored while it's heads was red.
Next, a medium-sized Canyon Krayt Dragon steps out and it lets out an even louder roar, which made the crowd of Geonosians cheer just as loud. This creature was the arena's most favorite beast. This one was particularly chosen to be Devon's execution beast.
A Canyon Krayt Dragon was the smallest variant of the reptilian Krayt Dragons native to the planet Tatooine, standing ten meters high and thirty meters in length, living in rocky caves and canyons. It was a four-legged hunter had powerful claws and teeth, a nearly impenetrable hide, a yellow-brown camouflage skin pattern, yellow eyes, five-horned crown ridge, and a long tail. This Krayt Dragon had many scars on it's body like claw marks and teeth marks, most likely from the beast fights it had endured.
Next, an Acklay was brought out as a Geonosian pokes it in the left-side with it's static pike.
An Acklay was an amphibious reptilian crustacean predatory creature native to Vendaxa, standing 3.05 meters high. It had three eyes, thick skin, powerful jaws filled with razor sharp teeth, a hard shelf-like carapace, and six, pointy claw-like legs with grappling hands, which could be used for both pinning an opponent in combat or slicing them. This Acklay had green skin.
Finally, a Nexu was brought out. One of the Geonosians poked the Nexu with it's static pike, making it yelp. That would prove to be it's greatest mistake. The Nexu grabbed the Geonosian with it's jaws, knocking the insectoid off it's Orray and bites down with it's sharp teeth, killing it instantly and dragging it away. Several Geonosians rode up on their Orrays and managed to get the Nexu under control.
A Nexu was a feline creature native to the chilly forests of the Indona continent on the planet of Cholganna. It had four eyes, powerful jaws filled with sharp teeth, claws that could tear through flesh, quills along their back, and a long tail that was split into two equal sections.
"I have a bad feeling about this." Anakin says
"You and me both." Devon says
The Geonosians began forcing the creatures toward the four heroes. Padmé had managed to free her right-hand from her metal cuff and climbed the stone column.
"Just relax. Concentrate." Obi-Wan says
"What about Padmé?" Anakin asks
"She seems to be on top of things." Obi-Wan says
The Acklay approached Obi-Wan and raised it's front left-leg to try and slice him. The Jedi Master moves out of the way and dodges the Acklay's leg as it stabs into sand. Obi-Wan moves from side-to-side, dodging the Acklay's legs. Eventually, the Acklay jabs it's right-leg into the stone column and breaks the chain that held Obi-Wan to the column. He was now free, but his hands were still restrained by the metal cuffs.
The Reek charges toward Anakin and lowered it's head with it's horn pointed at him. Just as it reaches him, Anakin jumps up with a somersault and lands on the Reek's back, wrapping his chain around it's horn. The Reek tries to shake the Jedi Padawan off, but he held on tight. Eventually, the creature's shaking and jumping around breaks the link of the chain that binded Anakin to the column.
The Krayt Dragon charges toward Devon and opened it's mouth as it prepared to bite down on him. Just as it lunges at him, Devon leaps up with a somersault and lands on the dragon's back. The Krayt Dragon bites into the column and rips it from the ground, crushing it to pieces with it's jaws and breaking the chain in the process, freeing the young teen. Then, the large creature jumps around in an attempt to throw Devon off, but he held onto it's horns.
The Nexu clings onto the stone column and climbs up toward Padmé, who takes her chain and swings it at the feline creature, hitting it in the head. The Nexu climbs up a few more feet and manages to swipe it's right-claw at Padmé's back, leaving three large slash marks across her back and tearing off her right-sleeve, causing her to scream in pain. The Nexu jumps down and circles the column, looking up at Padmé as it snarled. Nute Gunray saw this and laughed at the senator's suffering.
On Obi-Wan's side, the Acklay screeches as it jabs it's legs at Obi-Wan, who constantly rolled out of the way.
With Anakin, the Reek runs across the arena with the Jedi Padawan on it's back. Two Geonosians rode alongside them on their Orrays. Anakin soon lost his balance and fell over the left-side of the Reek's back and was now being dragged across the ground.
With Devon, he was still on the Krayt Dragon's back as it jumped around and shook it's body, trying to throw him off. Two Geonosians ride up on their Orrays armed with pikes to subdue Devon as he rode atop the Krayt Dragon, but were both swatted away with a wide sweep of the dragon's large tail as it swoops in from the right.
On Padmé's side, the Nexu climbs back up the stone column to try and reach her again. Padmé jumps off the column and uses the chain like a swing, kicking both her feet at the Nexu and knocking it off the column. The creature yelps and falls to the ground on it's right-side.
"She can't do that! Shoot her or-or something!" Gunray says pointing at the Naboo Senator
Padmé climbs back up her column as the Nexu rose back onto it's feet, whimpering like a wounded dog.
With Obi-Wan, the Acklay rams into the stone column, which the Jedi Master was hiding behind and tried to crush him with it. Obi-Wan quickly moves out of the way before it could get the chance.
On Anakin's side, the Reek soon skids to a stop and it shakes it's head, throwing the chain off it's horn. Anakin rises up onto his feet and stands his ground, but the beast doesn't attack and instead stands idle.
A Geonosian rode up to Obi-Wan on a Orray with it's static pike pointed at him, but the Jedi Master grabbed the pike and threw the Geonosian off it's mount.
With Devon, the Krayt Dragon, after minutes of struggling, manages to finally throw the Keyblade Wielder off it's back and stood up on it's hind legs, causing him to roll down it's back and down the length of it's long tail. Devon falls onto the sand and lands flat on his stomach. He flips over onto his back and his eyes widened when he saw the dragon's tail falling towards him. Reacting quickly, he rolls to the right, moving out of the way as the large tail comes crashing down.
Devon jumps back onto his feet and turns to face the Krayt Dragon as it turned it's large body to the right to face him, letting out a deep, menacing growl.
Obi-Wan whacks the Geonosian in the face with the pike, making it fall back to the ground. The Acklay walks over and steps over the Geonosian, driving one of it's dagger-like legs into it as it approaches the Jedi Master.
The Reek stood idle and didn't even bother to attack Anakin. This was cause Anakin was using the Force to calm the Reek down. It was a technique learned in the Force out Animal Friendship, also referred to as Beast Control.
Devon watched as Anakin used this ability and thought he could try and do the same. After all, he was imbued with the Force and it was stronger in him. Looking back at the Krayt Dragon, who looked at him with hungry eyes, he saw all the scars on it's body. Obviously, this poor creature had been through a lot.
Taking a deep breath, Devon closed his eyes and stretches both his hands out toward the Krayt Dragon, reaching out with the Force.
"I am one with the Force and the Force is with me." Devon chants
The Krayt Dragon stares at Devon as he just stood there, tilting it's head slightly to the left. Then, it heard his as it echoed within it's mind.
"I am one with the Force and the Force is with me."
Through the Force, Devon sent calming waves into the Krayt Dragon, putting it into a trance.
"I feel your hunger. But through the Force which I am now gifted, I bind your soul to mine." Devon says
The Krayt Dragon soon stood up straight and bowed it's head before Devon, letting out a low, calm, bellowing growl. The Keyblade Wielder walks over to the large creature and places his hands on it's snout, smiling as he pets the Krayt Dragon.
Then, Devon walked around to the left-side of the Krayt Dragon and tended to it's wounds. Closing his eyes and stretching his hands out to the creature's body, he pours soothing life energy into the Krayt Dragon, healing it's scars and calming it further.
A blue light emits from his hands and it glows brightly with pure energy. The same light envelopes the Krayt Dragon's wounds and sparkling wisps of light appear around it and Devon. The visible scars on the dragon's body began to fade away as they magically disappear. Soon, the healing process was complete and the light enveloping both Devon and the Krayt Dragon faded away. The young teen opens his eyes, letting out a small sigh.
The Krayt Dragon turns it's head back to Devon and gives him a lick with it's large tongue, licking his entire body from head-to-toe.
"Heh heh. Glad you feel better." Devon chuckles
Glancing over to his right, Devon watched as Anakin jumped onto the Reek's back with a somersault and wrapped his chains around the Reek's neck using them as reins.
Devon looks back at the now obedient and friendly Krayt Dragon as it lowered its body down, allowing the Keyblade Wielder to climb up onto it's back. Devon climbed up onto the creature's back and wrapped his chains around it's neck using them as reins like Anakin. The Krayt Dragon roared loudly and charged into battle with it's new rider.
Obi-Wan, now armed with a pike, lunges it at the Acklay, who screeches and rears back like a horse, kicking it's two front legs. The Jedi Master ducks and weaves his body around as he dodges the Acklay's dagger-like legs and swings his pike.
Padmé was still up on her stone column, keeping away from the Nexu as it circled her from below. She had managed to free her hands from her binds, but was stuck. Anakin rides to her rescue on his Reek as he came in from the left, ramming into the Nexu's right-side, causing it to spin in the air and fall to the ground dead.
"Jump!" Anakin says
Padmé jumps down and lands behind Anakin. They both kiss each other, but their moment was ruined when a Geonosian rode up to them on an Orray with it's pike ready to attack. But before it could attack, the Krayt Dragon grabs both the Geonosian and the Orray in it's jaws and devours them both, swallowing them whole. Anakin and Padmé both look up in surprise as they saw Devon riding it's back. He gives them a two-fingered salute and they nod back. Then, they rush over to help Obi-Wan.
Obi-Wan throws his pike at the Acklay, which hits it's left-shoulder, making it screech in pain. The Acklay grabs the pike with it's jaws and crunches it in half. Obi-Wan backs away, then he saw Anakin and Padmé ride up to him with their Reek and jumped on. The Acklay chases after them until Devon's Krayt Dragon steps in and roars at the Acklay, making it back away slowly.
From their balcony, Lord Drazor, Dooku, and the Separatists were not pleased with how everything was going. Gunray was the most infuriated.
"This isn't how it's supposed to be!" Gunray says
Gunray looks toward Jango Fett on his right, who had his helmet off.
"Jango! Finish her off!" Gunray commands
"Patience, Viceroy, patience. She will die." Dooku says holding his left-hand out to him
Down in the arena, several droidekas rolled out from the tunnels and surrounded Devon, Anakin, Obi-Wan, Padmé, and their tamed beasts, unfolding in combat mode and aiming their twin blasters at the heroes while they braced themselves.
Unknown to those in the arena, Jedi Master Mace Windu had arrived and was walking toward the stand where Dooku, Lord Drazor, the Fetts, and the Separatists were. He soon came up to Jango Fett, standing on his left and ignited his purple lightsaber, holding it up to his neck. Dooku and Lord Drazor turned and faced the dark-skinned human, hardly surprised by his arrival.
"Master Windu. How pleasant of you to join us." Dooku says
"This party's over." Windu says
Suddenly, blue and green lights appeared in the arena as the Jedi Strike Force reveal themselves, unfolding their hoods, whipping off their cloaks, and igniting their lightsabers. The strike force led by Windu was made up of most of the Jedi Council as well as several other great Jedi. There was Ki-Adi-Mundi, Luminara Unduli, Barriss Offee, Shaak Ti, Ahsoka Tano, Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, Aayla Secura, Saesee Tiin, Coleman Trebor and 212 other Jedi.
Devon, Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Padmé gazes at all the Jedi around them in awe.
"Alright! The cavalry's here!" Devon exclaims happily
Dooku looks out at all the Jedi in the arena, then turns back to face Windu.
"Brave, but, uh, foolish, my old Jedi friend. You're impossibly outnumbered." Dooku says
Windu scoffs.
"I don't think so." Windu says
"We'll see." Dooku says
Then, from behind Windu, several B2 Super battle droids marched forward from the dark corridor towards him while Lord Drazor, Dooku, and the Separatists move away to the right.
These new battle droids were a stronger, larger, upgraded version of the B1 battle droid with superior armament and armor. They had dual laser cannons mounted on their right forearms, a red sensor on the upper left-side of their bodies, and a sturdy, dull silver, duranium, phrik frame, which was more heavily armored, offering great protection.
The super battle droids opened fire on Windu, who deflects the blaster bolts with his lightsaber. Jango Fett, who now had his helmet on, steps forward and uses his ZX miniature flame projector on his left-gauntlet, shooting a cone of flames five meters long, one meter in diameter at Windu as he jumped up and fell off the balcony with his robe on fire. He soon lands in the arena down below and whips off his robe, revealing his Jedi attire.
The Geonosians scatter and fly about the arena as the epic battle on Geonosis commences.
The Separatist droid army, numbering in hundreds, swarms into the arena filling the battleground with blaster fire. Many of the Jedi blocked the volley of blaster bolts with their lightsabers and cut through the ranks of the battle droids. Two Jedi tossed Anakin and Obi-Wan two lightsabers. as they rode by on their Reek. Anakin receives a green lightsaber and Obi-Wan receives a blue lightsaber. They both ignite their weapons and cut their hands free of their bonds.
Devon followed the two Jedi and their Reek as he rode on his Krayt Dragon when he heard a familiar voice call out to him.
"Devon!" A female voice exclaims
Devon looks down to his left and he saw Ahsoka running over to him. She jumps up onto the Krayt Dragon's back and holds onto the Keyblade Wielder's left-shoulder.
"Ahsoka! Glad you could make it!" Devon exclaims happily
"I wouldn't miss it." Ahsoka says
The young Padawan notices that Devon's hands were still restrained by the binders and she offers to help him.
"Here." Ahsoka says
Carefully using her green lightsaber, Ahsoka cuts the metal cuffs off Devon's hands.
"Ah... Thanks." Devon sighs with relief
With his hands free, Devon takes hold of the chains in his left-hand and stands up on his Krayt Dragon's back. Raising his right-hand up to the sky, he summons his trusted Keyblade: Soul Calibur in a flash of blue light.
"Now, let's do this!" Devon says
"Right behind you!" Ahsoka says
Fighting together, Devon and Jedi fought valiantly against the unrelenting army of battle droids.
Devon and Ahsoka reflected blaster bolts with their weapons back at the battle droids who shoots at them while the Krayt Dragon chomps, stomps, and smashes it's way through the droid army. Then, the Dream Eaters: Tyranto Rex and Ryu Dragon appear, joining Devon and the Jedi on the action.
The Krayt Dragon grabbed several battle droids with it's jaws and tossed them aside, then stomps it's right-foot down on a droideka. Two super battle droids fired their blaster arms at the large creature, but their shots just bounces off the dragon's hide. The Krayt Dragon turns to the pesky droids and swats them away with a wide sweep of it's tail.
The Ryu Dragon shoots a fireball at two B1 battle droids, blasting them to pieces, then charges into a B2 battle droid, breaking it in half from across the torso.
The Tyranto Rex grabs a droideka with it's jaws and clamps down on it using it's teeth. Then, the Spirit turns and throws the mangled droid at three B1 battle droids on it's left, destroying them as well.
As the heroes fought valiantly, more Battle Droids kept marching into battle. Among them was the battle droid with C-3PO's body.
"My legs aren't moving. I must need maintenance." The battle droid says
An LR1K Sonic Cannon, a larger version of the Geonosian Sonic Blaster, one of four currently deployed in the arena, shoots a powerful blast of sonic energy, killing a Jedi and sending him flying into the last remaining stone column. The blast kills four other Jedi and scares the Reek, causing it to rears back on it's hind legs, throwing Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Padmé off.
Padmé quickly grabs an E-5 blaster rifle and shoots a Geonosian, who was mounted on an Orray chariot, and then jumps onto the Orray. Anakin cuts down two battle droids with his lightsaber, then jumps onto Padmé's chariot as they ride through the arena.
Another group of battle droids marched into battle. In this group was C-3PO, who's head was on a battle droid's body.
"What's all this noise? A-A battle! Oh, there's been some terrible mistake! I'm programmed to etiquette, not destruction!" C-3PO exclaims
Windu deflected blaster bolts off his lightsaber and somersaulted over a B1 battle droid. The droid fired it's blaster rifle at Windu, but he reflected the blaster bolt back at it. Windu runs over to Obi-Wan and they stand back-to-back as they deflect blaster bolts and redirect them back at the battle droids.
The battle droid with C-3PO's body fires at a male human Jedi, who blocked the blaster bolts and redirects one back at it, shooting the droid's head clean off C-3PO's body.
Amidst the heated skirmish, Jedi Master Coleman Trebor attempted to engage Dooku in lightsaber combat, jumping up and igniting his blue lightsaber, but this act was cut short by five expertly placed shots from Jango Fett. The fifth shot flips Trebor over the side of the balcony and he falls to his death.
After dealing with the Jedi, Jango spins his blaster pistol in his right-hand and slides it back into it's holster. Then, he spots Devon as he rides around on his Krayt Dragon with Ahsoka, throwing Soul Calibur at the battle droids in the arena, taking out five with one toss. Seeking a challenge, the bounty hunter takes off into the air with his jetpack and joined in the fight.
Devon and Ahsoka charged through the ranks of the droid army, smashing through dozens of B1 battle droids, super droids, and droidekas on their Krayt Dragon with the two Dream Eater Spirits following them. The large creature stomps toward an LR1K sonic cannon, chomps down on it, and rips it apart with it's powerful jaws, destroying the weapon and killing the Geonosians that operated it.
Suddenly, a whipcord wraps around Devon's body, catching him and Ahsoka by surprise.
"Huh?" Devon says
Before either one of them could react, Devon was yanked off the Krayt Dragon, being pulled from the left.
"Gah!" Devon exclaims
"Devon!" Ahsoka exclaims
The Keyblade Wielder falls onto his back in the sand and moves to free himself from the cord. It took him a while, but he manages to slip the cord over his body and he rises up onto his feet. Then, he encounters Jango Fett as he lands infront of him.
"You're time's up, Keyblade Wielder. You're not leaving here alive." Jango says
"Jango Fett, I presume. I've done some digging into your background, and I've read your history. You may be a renowned bounty hunter, but you've never faced a Keyblade Wielder like me." Devon says
"I've faced Jedi who were tough customers. Why should a Keyblade Wielder like you be any different?" Jango says
Jango ignites his flamethrower, shooting a stream of flames at Devon, who quickly counters with a stream of ice through his left-hand.
"Can a Jedi do that?" Devon says with a smirk
"Not so much as a Keyblade Wielder can take a blaster bolt to the face." Jango says
In less than a second, Jango quickly draws his dual blaster pistols and opens fire at Devon, shooting red bolts in rapid succession. The young teen immediately summons Soul Calibur into his hands and defends himself against the blaster bolts, spinning his Keyblade around as he deflects them away.
Devon charges at the bounty hunter with a sliding dash and slams into him, landing a hit to his chest with a right slash. Jango is knocked back, but he rolls up onto his feet and launches a saberdart through his right-gauntlet. Everything moves in slow-motion as Devon leans his body to the left, dodging the small dart as misses him by inches, hitting a Geonosian that was unlucky to be behind him.
Devon leaps forward at Jango with a somersault slash, but misses as the mandalorian leans his body to the right. Jango aims his left-blaster for a shot, but Devon kicks it out of his hand. Then, the young teen goes to deliver a left slash, only to be blocked as Jango catches the Keyblade with his left-hand. The mandalorian aims his other blaster at Devon's head, but he leans to the right and kicks it out his grip as well.
Jango extends his wrist blades from his right-gauntlet and takes a swing at Devon, who jumps back, evading the jagged blades as they came dangerously close to his face. The mandalorian comes at Devon with more swings using his wrist blades, but he constantly leans his body back as he dodges them. Eventually, Devon catches the blades with Soul Calibur and kicks Jango back, hitting him square in the chest with his right-foot. He lands near his blaster pistol and quickly grabs it in his right-hand, rolling to the right and up to his feet. He fires three shots at Devon, but he deflects the bolts and leaps forward, delivering another kick to Jango's chest.
Not far from them, Obi-Wan and Windu noticed a now out of control Reek heading straight for them. Obi-Wan was knocked aside by the animal as it went for Windu, who took his lightsaber and cuts off the Reek's right-cheek horn. But unfortunately, he lost his lightsaber in the process.
Jango lands on the ground near Windu after being kicked back by Devon and saw that the Jedi's lightsaber was near him. Using the Force, Windu pulls his lightsaber back toward him while Jango dives to try and catch it, only to miss. The Reek, now targeting Jango, rams into the bounty hunter and tramples over him, damaging his jetpack in the process. The Reek turns around and charges straight at Jango again, but this time he was ready. Moving fast, he shoots the Reek in the head with his blaster pistol and jumps and rolls to the right as the Reek crashes dead into the ground, skidding to a stop.
Jango turned and saw Windu running towards him with his lightsaber ignited. He backs away and fires nine bolts at him, but Windu deflects the blaster bolts as he continued toward him. On his ninth shot, he tried to take off, but his jetpack had malfunctioned. Once Windu was close enough, he chops the mandalorian's head clean off his body with a right slash. Jango's head rolls across the ground while his decapitated body falls over to the right. Boba Fett, who was hiding away in a tunnel, stares with widened eyes and a horrified expression.
The fight continued without end as C-3PO fired his blaster rifle uncontrollably.
"Die, Jedi dogs!" C-3PO says
C-3PO soon realizes what he said.
"Oh! What did I say?" C-3PO says surprised
Kit Fisto, a green Nautolan male Jedi Master deflected blaster bolts with his green lightsaber when he looks over at C-3PO on his left.
"Oh, dear. I'm terribly sorry about all this." C-3PO says
Thrusting his right-hand forward, Kit Fisto sends C-3PO back with a Force Push, making him stumble back onto the ground. Soon after, a super battle droid collapses ontop of him.
"Excuse me. I'm trapped. I can't get up." C-3PO says
Anakin and Padmé were still on their Orray Chariot when a droideka shoots the Orray dead, causing the chariot to crash and Anakin and Padmé to fall off. They quickly rise to their feet and take cover in the overturned chariot.
"You call this a diplomatic solution?" Anakin asks
"No, I call it aggressive negotiations." Padmé says
On Obi-Wan's side, the Jedi Master was deflecting blaster bolts and about to deal with two battle droids when they suddenly backed away.
"Uh-oh." One of the battle droids says
"Roger, roger." The other droid says
Obi-Wan. But now that he had a lightsaber, he cuts off two of the Acklay's legs, causing it to stumble and fall to the ground. Obi-Wan takes his lightsaber, raises it up and stabs the Acklay, finishing it off.
In the midst of the chaos, R2-D2 rolls up to C-3PO as he's pinned underneath the super battle droid.
"R2! What are you doing here?" C-3PO exclaims
R2 turns around and fires a cable from a hatch that connects to C-3PO's head. R2 then rolled forward.
"What are you doing? Ow, stop that! You're going to strain something! My neck!" C-3PO says
It took a great pull, but R2 manages to free C-3PO's head and he drags him across the arena as the fight continued around them.
"Now where are you taking me?" C-3PO asks
R2 beeps, saying that he was taking him to his body.
"Oh, this is such a drag." C-3PO says
The droid army soon began to circle around Devon and the surviving Jedi. Devon, Ahsoka, and their Krayt Dragon was in the middle of the group as the Jedi gathered in a cluster around them. Only a few Jedi, mostly of the Jedi Council, managed to survive while the majority of Jedi they had started with had perished.
R2 soon brings C-3PO to his body.
"Oh, I'm quite beside myself." C-3PO says
R2 began welding C-3PO's head to his body as his left-arm and left-leg twitched.
"R2, be careful! You're singeing my circuits!" C-3PO says
R2 beeps.
"Yes, but is my head on straight?" C-3PO asks
Suddenly, all the battle droids and droidekas cease fire as Dooku held out his right-hand, commanding them to stop. Devon and the Jedi look up toward Count Dooku, Lord Drazor, and the Separatists as the former Jedi Master spoke.
"Master Windu, Devon, you have fought gallantly, worthy of recognition in the archives of the Jedi Order. But now, it is finished. Surrender, and your lives will be spared." Dooku says
"We will not be hostages to be bartered, Dooku!" Windu says defiantly
"Then... I'm sorry, old friend." Dooku says
The droid army aimed their blasters at Devon and the Jedi as they all braced themselves for the first blaster bolt to be fired. Suddenly, Padmé saw something in the sky them.
"Look!" Padmé says
Everyone looks up and they saw Master Yoda arrive with the newly-created Grand Army of the Republic in several Low Altitude Assault Transport (LAAT) Gunships. The droids immediately target the gunships as they flew around the arena.
"Around the survivors a perimeter create." Yoda says
The gunships fly low into the arena and laid waste to the droids, firing the ship's chin-mounted laser turrets in a wide arc, and a pair of laser-beam turrets manned by a clone trooper gunner, creating space to land. The Jedi rushed over to the gunships and began boarding them. Devon and Ahsoka jumped off their Krayt Dragon and landed on the ground. Before he could join the Jedi, he looked toward his Krayt Dragon.
"Thank you for fighting at our side." Devon says
The Krayt Dragon gives Devon another full-body lick and nuzzled it's large head against his body while the young teen rubs his hands on it's snout.
"Now, go. Be free." Devon says
The Krayt Dragon lets out a mighty roar, then turns and climbs up into the stands. Using it's sharp claws, the large creature scales the rock walls of the arena, smashing through the hollow walls and climbs up over the side with it's tail slithering out of sight.
Devon and Ahsoka rush to join Anakin, Padmé, and Obi-Wan as they board their gunship and take off. Windu boarded Master Yoda's gunship along with Ki-Adi-Mundi, Kit Fisto, and Plo Koon. Aayla Secura, Luminara Unduli, Barriss Offee, Shaak Ti, and Saesee Tiin boarded their own gunship together.
With the survivors safely onboard, the gunships take off into the desert. Dooku, Lord Drazor, and the Separatists head out of the arena to the war room inside the hive.
The arena was now quiet as C-3PO sits up with his body repaired and looks around while R2 whistles and beeps.
"Oh. I had the most peculiar dream." C-3PO says
In another part of the arena, Boba Fett kneels down and picks up Jango's helmet. He was then left to grieve over his loss.
In their transport, Yoda looks toward Windu.
"If Dooku escapes, rally more systems to his cause, he will." Yoda says
The gunships flies over the badlands, which now had armies of clone troopers fighting against the droid army.
"Hold on!" Obi-Wan says
The heroes grab hold of the gunship's safety handles as they head into the battlefield. Ahead of them were Techno Union Starships that were readying themselves for launch. To stop them from leaving, Anakin gives out a command to the pilot.
"Aim right above the fuel cells!" Anakin commands pointing out with his left-hand
The pilot fires a single missile from the ship's two dorsal launchers and they hit the fuel cells of the capsule-shaped starship with a large explosion, causing the gargantuan vessel to fall onto the desert and crushing dozens of battle droids underneath.
"Good call, my young Padawan." Obi-Wan says with a smile
In the Geonosis War Room, Dooku, Lord Drazor, Nute Gunray, Rune Haako, and Poggle the Lesser observed the battle through a large, circular holotable in the center of the room, which displayed red holograms of both armies engaging one another.
"The Jedi and the Keyblade Wielder have amassed a huge army." Gunray says
"That doesn't seem possible. How could Devon and the Jedi come up with an army so quickly?" Dooku asks
"We must send all available droid into battle!" Gunray says
"There are too many." Dooku says
"Numbers may favor their side, but with the Dark Side as our ally, our true victory will be ensured." Lord Drazor says
"Ah [click] klee oo [click] voo kly atoe. (Our communications are jammed.)" Poggle says in Geonosian
Back in the desert, Yoda and Windu were soaring over the battlefield when another transport to their right gets shot down by intense laser flak projected into the air.
"Pilot, land in that assembly area!" Windu commands
"Yes, sir." The clone pilot says nodding his head
The gunship lands and Windu, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Plo Koon step off. One clone commando approaches the dark-skinned Jedi.
"Sir, I have five special commando units awaiting your orders." A clone commander says
Windu heads off to lead the charge with his fellow Jedi Masters, Yoda, still inside his transport, orders to head to their command bunker where he could direct the overall battle.
"To the forward command center take me." Yoda says
The gunship lifts off and Yoda watches as Windu, the Jedi Masters, and their clone units head off into battle.
On all fronts, the two sides grappled with each other in fierce combat.
Heavily-armored AT-TE walkers takes down hordes of battle droid, providing the ground forces cover as they move up. The Separatists forces had heavy weaponized vehicles of their own as they deployed DSD1 dwarf spider droids and IG-227 Hailfire-class droid tanks, laying siege to a number of LAATs and AT-TEs.
AT-TE or All Terrain Tactical Enforcer was a six-legged walker tank used by the clone troopers, standing 9.57 meters high and 22.02 meters in length, armed with a Firefront 04 mass driver cannon, and six Maad-21 heavy laser cannon ball-turrets, four mounted in the front and two at the rear.
The DSD1 dwarf spider droid was a spider-like droid having four legs, two red eye sensors, and gray armor plating, standing 1.98 meters high and 3.05 meters in length, and armed with a powerful laser cannon.
IG-227 Hailfire-class droid tank was a brown and silver armored missile platform armed with two racks of long-range 'Hailfire' missile launcher pods, each carrying 15 guided missile warheads. It travels fast on the ground with it's treaded, hoop-like drive wheels 8.5 meters in diameter and locks onto their targets with it's red photoreceptor 'eye'.
The Jedi leads the Republic forces into battle against the Separatist army. Despite the droid's numbers outweighing the clone forces, they had the major advantage.
Some of the Federation Core Starships began to take off. Obi-Wan saw this and order the clone forces to attack them.
"Attack those Federation starships! Quickly!" Obi-Wan commands pointing with his left-hand
Several gunships fly in and concentrate fire on the fleeing Federation ships, firing their dorsal-mounted missiles at their sphere-shaped hulls, sending them crashing back down to the ground.
Yoda's gunship lands at the forward command center and a yellow clone commander approaches him.
"Master Yoda, all forward positions are advancing." The clone commander says pointing out to the battlefield on his left
"Very good. Very good." Yoda says
In the Geonosis War Room, the battle was turning bad for the Separatists as they could clearly see in the holotable.
"This is not looking good at all." Gunray says
"We must get the starships back into space." Haako says
Nute Gunray and Rune Haako began heading to the docking bay to make preparations for their departure while Dooku, Lord Drazor, and Poggle stays behind.
"[Horn] ohwah [horn, cluck] irsh [horn] dee woh hoh. (We have to order a retreat.)" Poggle says in Geonosian
"Our masters would never allow the Republic or Devon to get away with this treachery." Dooku says
"[Cluck, cluck] kleee [cluck-cluck, horn] kee [horn] as-koh. (I'm sending my warriors to hide in the catacombs.)" Poggle says in Geonosian
The Archduke walks over to a hologram, which showed a massive, weaponized space station, and inside were the plans for it's construction.
"Mwayn bebesee [click] ann ko [horn-horn.] (The Jedi and the Keyblade Wielder must not find our designs for the ultimate weapon.)" Poggle says in Geonosian
Poggle removes the data, puts it into a small circular disk, and walks over to the two villains.
"Ko kweep aukauk kee ah [horn] kee [horn] ko kos kee em ek vah, moke veet. (If they find out what we are planning to build, we're doomed.)" Poggle says
"We shall take the designs with us to Coruscant." Dooku says
Dooku presses a button on the disk and a small red hologram appears, showing the space station. It was a sphere-shaped fortress armed with a superweapon capable of destroying entire planets. It's name: The Death Star.
"They will be much safer there... with my master." Dooku says
Dooku presses the button again and the hologram shuts off.
Dooku and Lord Drazor enter the hangar as Gunray and Haako board their Sheathipede-class shuttle and take off. Dooku mounts his Flitknot Speeder Bike while Lord Drazor summons and rides a Nightmare Ryu Dragon.
The two villains take off and head across the badlands, accompanied by two Nantex-class territorial defense starfighters piloted by a singer Geonosian.
Back in the desert, the fight against the droid army continues as Yoda stood at the command center, giving orders to the clone troopers.
"Concentrate all your fire on the nearest starship." Yoda says
"Yes, sir." A clone captain says nodding his head
The clone turns to the other soldiers and gives them new coordinates.
"Move all quadrants to Sector 5-1-5." The clones captain orders
Seven Self-Propelled Heavy Artillery Turbolasers (SPHA-T)s fire at the nearest starship they could reach, firing long teal-colored lasers at it. The core ship rises several feet up before it stops in mid-air and crashes back down into the ground in a massive cloud of dust.
The gunship carrying Devon, Ahsoka, Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Padmé flies through the dust cloud while the clone and droid army continued fighting through the thick, blinding cloud of dust. Their red and blue blaster bolts, illuminating the battlefield with their light.
In their gunship, Obi-Wan notices something in the distance infront of them.
"Look over there!" Obi-Wan says pointing with his left-hand
Up ahead was Dooku and Lord Drazor with their fighter escort.
"It's Dooku!" Anakin says
"And our mystery friend." Devon says
"Shoot them down!" Anakin says
"We're out of rockets, sir." The pilot says
"Follow them." Devon says
"We're gonna need some help!" Padmé says
"There isn't time! Anakin, Devon, and I can handle this!" Obi-Wan says
Dooku and Lord Drazor notice the heroes following them and they command their two escort fighters to deal with them. The fighters fly back in behind of the gunship and open fire, shooting explosive purple bolts. The gunship hits a dune hill and Padmé, Ahsoka, and a clone trooper fall out the side, screaming.
"Padmé!" Anakin cries out
"Ahsoka!" Devon cries out
Padmé rolls across the sand and eventually stops on her back, falling unconscious. Ahsoka rolls down with her and she, too, falls unconscious, landing on her right-side.
"Put the ship down!" Anakin commands
"Anakin! Don't let your personal feelings get in the way!" Obi-Wan says
Obi-Wan turns to the pilot and orders him to keep on with the pursuit.
"Follow that speeder!" Obi-Wan commands
Devon looks back at Padmé and Ahsoka's fallen forms as they get further away, hoping that they would be alright. The pursuit continues into the badlands as Anakin and Obi-Wan get into a heated argument.
"Lower the ship!" Anakin yells
"I can't take Dooku alone! I need you! And Devon! If we catch him, we can end this war right now! We have a job to do!" Obi-Wan yells
"I don't care! Put the ship down!" Anakin yells
"You will be expelled from the Jedi Order!" Obi-Wan yells
"I can't leave her!" Anakin yells
"Come to your senses! What do you think Padmé would do if she were in your position?" Obi-Wan yells
Anakin remains silent before answering.
"She would do her duty." Anakin says breathing heavily
Obi-Wan stares at his Padawan for a moment with a concerned expression, then turns to gaze out at the traitor Jedi and the Dark Keyblade Wielder. Anakin pants heavily to catch his breath and calm himself down.
At the forward command center, Yoda sensed something through the Force and he pondered to himself.
"The droid army is in full retreat." The clone commander says
"Well done, Commander. Bring me a ship." Yoda says
The clone nods his head and points to another trooper to request a ship to their location.
Back with the trio, Count Dooku and Lord Drazor arrive at a secret hangar, flying in through. The gunship lowers to a platform and drops Devon, Anakin and Obi-Wan, who summons his Keyblade and ignite their lightsabers as they rush to catch up with the villains. Their transport takes off, only to be blasted out of the sky by the two Geonosian starfighters.
The heroic trio rush into the hangar and confront Count Dooku and Lord Drazor, who stood near a Punworcca 116-class interstellar sloop, preparing to leave when they turned to face them.
"You're gonna pay for all the Jedi you killed today, Dooku." Anakin says
"We'll do this together. You go in slowly from the left." Obi-Wan says
"No, I'm gonna take him now!" Anakin says charging straight at Dooku.
"No, Anakin! No! No!" Obi-Wan yells
Dooku stretches his right-hand forward, sending forth a blast of Force Lightning and hurling Anakin against the stone walls of the hangar and incapacitating him. Then, he turns and faces Devon and Obi-Wan.
"As you can see, my Jedi powers are far beyond yours. Now... back down." Dooku says
Dooku stretches his hand out again and hurls more Force Lightning at Obi-Wan, but he absorbs the attack into his lightsaber.
"I don't think so." Obi-Wan says
"I'd hardly call that a Jedi's power, Dooku. And I know for a fact that you're no Jedi. Not anymore. Not after what you've done." Devon says
Dooku draws his curved lightsaber and ignites it with a red plasma blade extending from the emitter. Lord Drazor stretches his right-hand out and summons his Dark Keyblade: Fear's Shadow in a flash of darkness. Devon summons Soul Calibur into his right-hand and got into battle stance as he stood alongside Obi-Wan for their duel against the two villains.
Obi-Wan charges at Dooku and attacks with a downward slash and a jab, only to be deflected by Dooku. He then swings his lightsaber with some under cuts, which the Sith Lord also blocks, and goes for Dooku's legs with a low right slash, but he leaps over the attack and flourished his blade to drive the Jedi back as he landed.
Devon charges at Lord Drazor with thrusting strike, but he knocks Soul Calibur away to the left and counters with his attack. Devon attacks with three vertical strikes, but Lord Drazor blocks the attacks. Then, Devon follows up with three left whirling slashes, twirling around and swinging at the Dark Knight, who flourished his Dark Keyblade and drove the young teen back to Obi-Wan.
"Master Kenobi, you disappoint me. Yoda holds you in such high esteem." Dooku says
Obi-Wan swings a left slash at Dooku, but parries his blow. The Jedi and Sith spin around and swing their lightsabers, putting them both into a brief blade lock.
"Surely you can do better." Dooku says
Obi-Wan breaks off and attacks again, attempting to regain the offensive with a left slash, but was blocked as Dooku swings it up and over. The Sith Lord seized the offensive and went for a right whirling slash, which Obi-Wan dodges, scrambling back and jumping off the ramp of the interstellar sloop that was docked in the hangar.
Lord Drazor raises his Dark Keyblade over his right-shoulder and cleaves down Devon, who holds Soul Calibur in defense infront of his face. Devon breaks away and strikes back with a left slash, an overhead slash, and a right spinning slash. The Dark Knight parries the first two blows, then jumps back in dodging the third.
"Who are you?" Devon asks in a demanding voice
The evil Keyblade Wielder stands up straight and points Fear's Shadow at the young teen.
"I am Lord Drazor, the Dark Knight. I serve my master, Lord Thanatos, right-hand to the Dark Lord of the Shadows. Through me, I am their divine wrath and vengeful fury. Your time in the Age of Light is over. You will submit to the darkness or you will suffer."
"Not a chance!" Devon says
Lord Drazor comes at Devon with a fast sliding dash, swinging his Dark Keyblade with a left spinning uppercut slash, only to miss Devon by inches as he leans over left. He follows up with a right spinning slash, but Devon evades the attack with a backflip, jumping over the Dark Keyblade as it swoops under him and landing a few feet away.
Back in the desert, Padmé and Ahsoka were both starting to regain consciousness after their fall. They both grunted and groaned as they slowly wake up. The clone trooper that fell with them went to check up on the two heroines.
"Are you alright?" The trooper asks
"Uh-huh." Padmé says
"Yeah. I'm okay." Ahsoka says
The Torgruta Jedi and the Senator rise to their feet.
"We'd better get back to the forward command center." The trooper says
"No. No. Gather what troops you can. We've got to get to that hangar." Padmé says
"Right. Devon, Obi-Wan, and Anakin needs our help. Get a transport. Hurry." Ahsoka says
"Right away." The trooper says nodding his head
With that said, Ahsoka, Padmé, and the clone trooper began to make a run for the hangar, wanting to catch up with the Keyblade Wielder and the two Jedi.
Back in the hangar, the fight between Devon, Obi-Wan, Count Dooku, and Lord Drazor had only just begun.
Devon attacks with a right slash, a downward slash, a left and right uppercut slash, then twirls around with an overhead slash, but Lord Drazor defends himself with his Dark Keyblade, parrying the blows. He strikes back with a downward slash, a left slash, and a roundhouse strike. Devon parries the two blows, then catches the third, putting them both into a blade lock.
Obi-Wan was straining to keep up, was pulled into a blade lock. A full grin formed on Dooku's face and he pushes Obi-Wan's lightsaber aside, then jabs at his left-arm, cutting it across the side.
"Ah!" Obi-Wan exclaims
As Obi-Wan fell back in pain, Dooku stayed on him and follows up with another jab, cutting him across the left-leg.
"Ahh!" Obi-Wan exclaims
The Jedi Master falls onto his right-side, clutching his wounded leg. Despite his wisely shown restraint against Dooku, Obi-Wan, fatigued by the battle, was outmatched by Dooku's skills.
Devon saw this and was horrified. While he was distracted, Lord Drazor hits Devon with a left-palm strike to his face, then slams Fear's Shadow into Devon stomach with a right swing, causing him to lurch forward and choke in pain.
"Gyaaah!" Devon exclaims
The Dark Knight then delivers a reverse roundhouse kick to Devon's head with his right-foot, sending him back to where Obi-Wan was. Devon lands next to the Jedi Master, falling flat on his back.
Dooku and Lord Drazor walk up to Devon and Obi-Wan and raised their weapons to finish the two heroes.
Buy just as they swung downwards, Anakin recovers and leaps across the hangar from the corner, igniting his green lightsaber and blocking both their blows.
"Brave of you, boy. But I would've thought you had learned your lesson." Dooku says
As Dooku and Lord Drazor turned to Anakin, Obi-Wan used the Force to retrieve his fallen lightsaber.
"I am a slow learner." Anakin says
Anakin shoves the red lightsaber and Dark Keyblade away while Devon rolls backward and jumps up to his feet, joining his side.
"Anakin!" Obi-Wan calls
Obi-Wan tosses his lightsaber to Anakin, who catches it in his left-hand and ignites it.
Now, wielding two lightsabers, Anakin spins around and swings both his blades at Dooku, who flourishes his curved lightsaber, parrying his blows. Dooku regains his footing and pushes back against Anakin, who spins around, parrying his jabs. Eventually, the Sith Lord manages to disarm Anakin, knocking his green lightsaber out of his left-hand and slicing apart the hilt in mid-air. Warding off Dooku with two rapid strikes, Anakin quickly retreated, regaining his composure.
Lord Drazor swings his Dark Keyblade with a left slash and a reverse roundhouse slash at Devon, but he parries the blows by holding Soul Calibur infront of him, and then quickly behind his back. Turning around to face him, Devon strikes back with three spinning slashes, whirling his crystal Keyblade around his body and warding the Dark Knight away before retreating back to Anakin's side.
Now armed with only the blue lightsaber, Anakin slashes a power cable on the floor, causing a short circuit that caused the hangar lights to flicker for a brief while, then raises his lightsaber into a high guard. As the chamber dimmed, the two sides stared each other down, blades at the ready. Anakin and Dooku both held their lightsabers in a high guard position. Devon and Lord Drazor gripped their Keyblades tightly, pointing them at each other.
Within moments, Anakin and Devon engaged in a flurry of swordplay, spinning and swinging both Keyblade and lightsaber against Dooku and Lord Drazor, who both parried their blows.
Devon swings Soul Calibur with four left and right uppercut slashes, advancing toward Lord Drazor, who retreats and leans his body away in dodging the crystal Keyblade. He goes to deliver a reverse roundhouse slash, but the Dark Knight parries the blow, catching it with Fear's Shadow held diagonally to the left. He swings Soul Calibur up and around and away, and counters with a roundhouse slash. Devon immediately spins the other way and blocks against the blow, holding his Keyblade horizontally in a reverse grip and putting them both in a blade lock.
Anakin and Dooku both twirl around and swing their lightsabers with over and underhand strikes, attacking and parrying each other's moves. Yet despite holding his own against Dooku for much of the duel, Anakin was finally brought down when Dooku twirled and slashed off his right-arm with a sudden undercut. Anakin cried out in pain and Dooku blasted him back with a Force Push through his left-hand.
Devon watches with a shocked expression as Anakin is thrown back. Lord Drazor pushes more strength down on Devon, forcing him to focus back on the fight at hand. The Dark Knight shoves the young teen back and goes for a reverse roundhouse slash, but he jumps and slides back across the hangar, using his left-hand to catch himself. He rises back up and stands his ground and was left alone against the two villains.
"I gotta say, Dooku, I'm surprised at you. I never thought that you, a Jedi Master, would turn to the Dark Side so easily. If Qui-Gon saw you as you are now, he'd be very ashamed and disgusted." Devon says
"Qui-Gon died because the Jedi Order is weak. Their perceived short-sightedness and obstinacy is why he was slain. They are as much responsible for his death as the Sith Warrior who killed him." Dooku says
"That's a lie! I fought alongside him! He was not weak! He was strong! Qui-Gon was a great man and a wise Jedi Master! He had faith in the Republic, in the Force! And I know, for a fact, that he would never side with you!" Devon shouts
"During my time in the Order, I devoted myself to diplomacy and look how that turned out. The Republic is corrupt, sliding deeper into chaos. It is a galaxy full of scoundrels, but one can make a difference if he is powerful enough. With the Force as our ally, we can reforge it for the greater good." Dooku says
"And you think that by immersing yourself with the darkness, allying yourself with the Dark Lord of the Shadows and the Sith, and plunging the galaxy into war will achieve this?! The change you seek won't save the galaxy, it'll destroy it! And I won't allow that happen! Not while I live!" Devon shouts
Devon holds Soul Calibur up to his face and it glows brightly with it's benevolent light, causing Dooku and Lord Drazor to shield their eyes. The young teen raises the shining Keyblade above his head and it changes shape, taking on a different form. Soon, the light dims down and in Devon's hands was Soul Calibur, now in the form of a long crystal staff. It was another Formchange.
The head of the staff was tall with the glowing crystal orb, which floated disembodied within the center above a six-pointed crystal crown frame, surrounded two crystalline wings at it's sides. At the other end of the staff was the elegant Kingdom Hearts sigil also with crystal crown frame and two crystal wings surrounding it as well. White runic symbols and glittering stars were etched and emblazoned into the staff's length, glowing with pure light.
Devon twirls his crystal staff in his hands, spinning it around his body before bringing it over to his right-side with the head containing the crystal orb pointed at Dooku and Lord Drazor.
"For the good of this galaxy, for the Republic, for Qui-Gon Jinn, the Jedi Order, and the Universe, I will stop you!" Devon says
Devon aims his staff at Dooku and Lord Drazor and fires a salvo of forty blue-white shooting stars, sending them careening toward them. Both villains deflect the projectiles with their weapons. Devon performs a flip-kick using his staff to propel himself forward, then attacks an overhead strike, causing the Dark Lords to separate and leap away.
Dooku jumps back at Devon with his red lightsaber held over his head, but his blow was blocked by Devon, who held up his staff infront of him. The young teen counters the attack with a quick jab and an uppercut strike, but the Sith parries his blows. Devon follows up with a whirling strike, spinning his staff around his body, but misses as Dooku leaps away from him.
Lord Drazor stretches left-hand forward and hurls a blast of dark lightning at Devon. The Keyblade Wielder turns to face the Dark Knight and raises his staff horizontally above his head in his right-hand, creating a spherical barrier of light, which shields him from the electric blast, causing the lightning bolts to bounce off in every direction. The barrier disperses, unleashing splashes of light around Devon.
Working together, the Dark Lords attack Devon in unison, charging at him and swinging their weapons, while he spins his crystal staff around, parrying their blows and knocking them away. Eventually, Devon slams his staff into the ground and three pillars of light revolve around him, forcing Dooku and Lord Drazor back.
As he stood away from the Dark Lords, Devon levitates into the air with his body enveloped in pure light. Hovering in mid-air, Devon raises his crystal staff in his right-hand and it emits a bright light, shooting rays of light that streak along the ground in every direction. Dooku deflects the rays with his lightsaber while Lord Drazor shields himself in a black barrier of darkness. Devon lands back onto the ground and stands across from the Sith Lord and the Dark Knight and Soul Calibur reverts back to it's original form.
The three warriors briefly caught their breath as they stood on opposite sides. Suddenly, they heard the sound of footsteps and the clack of a cane, as well as characteristic panting. Turning to the hangar entrance, they saw Master Yoda step in and walk up to Devon, joining his side. Yoda looked up at Devon on his right and nods to him while he nods back.
"Master Yoda." Dooku says
"Count Dooku." Yoda says
"You have interfered with our affairs for the last time." Dooku says
Dooku stretches his left-hand toward a wall fixture on his left and reaches out with the Force, ripping it out of the wall and hurling it at the two heroes. Yoda drops his came and reaches out with his right-hand, catching it and throwing the fixture aside. Dooku sends another fixture from the left at them, but Yoda catches it and throws it aside as well.
Glancing up at the hangar ceiling, Dooku raises his hands up and rips chunks of stone out, sending them falling toward the young teen and Jedi Master. Yoda raises his hands above his head and caught the stone chunks in mid-air, throwing them aside to the left.
"Powerful you have become, Dooku. The dark side I sense in you." Yoda says
"I've become more powerful than any Jedi." Dooku says
Dooku stretches forth his right-hand and hurls a blast of Force Lightning at his former master.
"Even you." Dooku says
Yoda catches the lightning in his left-hand and sends it back at Dooku, who deflects it with his right-hand, sending it up into a nearby wall on the right. Dooku casts a second blast against Yoda, but he blocks the attack again, deflecting the lightning bolts as they bounce off in every direction in the hangar. As a show of his mastery, Yoda absorbed the electricity completely as he grips it in his hand, causing it to disappear in a small flash of light.
"Much to learn you still have." Yoda says
"It is obvious that this contest cannot be decided by our knowledge of the Force..." Dooku says
The Sith Lord ignites his red lightsaber.
"...but by our skills with the lightsaber." Dooku says
Dooku held his curved lightsaber up infront of his face and spins it down to his right-side. Lord Drazor drew his Dark Keyblade. Devon held Soul Calibur infront of him in his hands while Yoda pulls back the left-side of his cloak, telekinetically drawing his own lightsaber into his right-hand with the Force, igniting it's green plasma blade, and holding it with both hands on his right-side as he gets into battle stance.
Within moments, the Keyblade Wielder, Jedi Master, Sith Lord, and Dark Knight leapt at each other.
Dooku attacks with fast, relentless jabs at Yoda while he leaps around him, performing somersaults, cartwheels and flips and parrying his blows. While Dooku unleashed the full mastery of his Makashi form, Yoda had a slight advantage against his former apprentice with his Ataru form due to his small size and fast speed.
Lord Drazor strikes with a left diagonal slash, a right slash, an uppercut slash. Devon blocks the first two blows, and leans over to the right, then jumps high over the Dark Knight with inverted flip. He lands behind him and whirls around, swinging Soul Calibur with a right slash, only to be blocked by Lord Drazor as he quickly turns and catches his blow. Devon follows up with a swift strike the other way, but the Dark Knight parries his blow and counters with a right slash. Devon performs a small leap back in dodging the blow and tries to deliver a double kick, but the evil warrior ducks down and the young teen flies over him.
Yoda and Dooku both clash in a blade lock as does Devon and Lord Drazor, but only for a brief moment as the two Dark Lords break away and swing their weapons at the two heroes.
Yoda spins around, constantly swinging his lightsaber at Dooku, who parries his blows. The two clash again, but only for a second as Yoda jumps up to the side of the interstellar sloop, dodging Dooku's blade as he throws it at him. He jumps back down and spins around Dooku some more, attacking him with more spinning slashes until they clash blades for a third and final time.
Devon jumps back as he dodges Fear's Shadow and dashes back at Lord Drazor with a left spinning slash, but he blocks his strikes. The Dark Knight attacks with an upward and downward slash and two right spinning slashes, charging at Devon, who leans to the left and right before jumping back with a backflip. He jumps up to the wall of the hangar and bounces off it as he comes back at Lord Drazor with a somersault slash, putting them into a blade lock around the same time as Yoda and Dooku.
"Fought well you have, my old Padawan." Yoda says
"This is just the beginning." Dooku says
Dooku stretches his left-hand toward one of the hangar's power columns and topples it over to crush Anakin and Obi-Wan. Yoda broke off the duel and reaches out with both hands to catch the power column with the Force. Devon breaks off from his fight with Lord Drazor and lends his support to the Jedi Master, de-summoning his Keyblade and stretching his hands out, reaching out with the Force.
While they were busy, Dooku and Lord Drazor board their interstellar sloop, retracting the ramp and closing the door.
Devon and Yoda both close their eyes in concentration, keeping their hands stretched out. They stop the large object only a few inches above the downed Jedi and move it a few feet away behind them. Devon and Yoda soon lower their hands and release their grip, causing the power column to fall with a loud thud.
Padmé, Ahsoka, and a few troopers arrive on the scene and they saw Dooku and Lord Drazor escaping in their solar sailer as they fly out of the hangar. They opened fire on the ship, but their efforts proved futile as it quickly takes off into the atmosphere.
Dooku's solar sailer was a unique melding of Geonosian and Gree technology. The sloop was 16.76 meters long, 4.6 meters wide, and 4.8 meters in height and depth. It had two multifunctional bow prongs, an orb-like cockpit module positioned between the two, and a crew hold at the stern of the craft. As it's name states, the starship had a large sail which collected solar energy and used it as a propulsion system to make it fly through space.
Leaving the planet, the solar sailer unfurls it's egg-shaped sail and it ventures out into the vastness of space, carrying the Sith Lord and Dark Keyblade Wielder to safety.
Devon let out a sigh as he was exhausted from the fight. Yoda himself sighs and grabs his cane with the Force, pulling it into his left-hand and slowly walks over to Anakin and Obi-Wan as they laid on the floor, moaning in pain. Devon rushes over to the two Jedi and helps them up, starting with Obi-Wan first before helping Anakin next.
At that moment, Padmé, Ahsoka, and their squad of clone troopers enter the hangar. Padmé rushes over to Anakin while Ahsoka rushes to Devon.
"Anakin!" Padmé exclaims
"Devon!" Ahsoka exclaims
The Keyblade Wielder and female Togruta embrace each other in a tight hug, relieved to see the other alright and well.
"Anakin's hurt. He needs medical attention." Padmé says
"C'mon. Let's get out of here." Devon says
And so, the heroes leave the hangar while the clone troops secured the area. The Battle on Geonosis was over, but the war was far from over, especially for Devon.
Author's Note: And here you have it. The epic battle of Geonosis. Devon and the heroes were brought into the arena on Geonosis sentenced to be executed by the arena's deadly beasts. They're able to hold on their own and Devon manages to develop a bond between him and a Krayt Dragon. Who would've thought the Geonosians would have one of these bad boys? Mace Windu and several Jedi arrive at the arena to their aid. Jango Fett faces off against Devon and Windu, but he ends up beheaded by the Jedi Master, which does not bode well for Boba Fett. Devon and the Jedi were soon overwhelmed and were about to be finished until Yoda arrives with the Grand Army of the Republic. Dooku and Lord Drazor flees with construction plans of a massive superweapon. Spoiler alert! It's the Death Star! Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan catch up with the two Dark Lords and engage them in an epic battle. Devon learns of Lord Drazor's name in their duel. He has no idea that it is his own father, but he'll find out eventually. And surprise! Devon achieves another Formchange for his Keyblade! During his battle, Yoda steps in to lend a hand until Lord Drazor and Dooku manage to escape. Our heroes have survived the battle, but the war has only just begun for the Distant Galaxy.
