The day of the Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin had come. Gryffindor were losing the game within minutes with Slytherin currently leading 80 - 30, thanks to their new and improved broomsticks.

Last year, Devon played alongside Harry in their first Quidditch game after Katie Bell injured herself during practice. Now, he was in the stands with Hagrid, Ron, and Hermione, watching the game. He wasn't happy with how the game was turning out. Harry and Gryffindor team were completely outmatched by Slytherin team's new broomsticks. If he could play in this game in this game, he'd show Slytherin team what for.

In one of Slytherin's spectator towers, Lucius Malfoy was also watching the game with an amused expression. Unlike Devon, he was rather pleased with how well his son, Draco, and the rest of Slytherin were performing with the broomsticks he gave them.

Not far from the Quidditch pitch, Alura and her six unicorn sisters watched the game as well from a tall hilltop near the Forbidden Forest.

Flint had the Quaffle in his left-arm as he made his way across the pitch towards Gryffindor's side of field. Once he reaches the goal posts, he throws the ball to score, but was thwarted by Wood, who flies in and catches the Quaffle before tossing it over to Angelina.

Angelina zooms across the pitch with the Quaffle in her right-arm towards the lowest Slytherin goal post. Flint flies in from the right and smacks the ball out of her arm, sending it over to Adrian Pucey, who catches it. Harry chases after him around a spectator tower, but soon stops and watches as he heads for Gryffindor's goal posts. Katie Bell flies up from behind to try and stop Adrian, but one of the Slytherin Beaters flies into her, knocking her away. Adrian throws the Quaffle through the tall, center hoop and the goal bell rings loudly.

Crabbe, Goyle, and the rest of Slytherin house in the stands cheer loudly, waving their green-silver flags as Lee Jordan, the game commentator announces the action.

"Another goal for Slytherin." Lee announces

Lee adjusts the score counter, adding ten points to Slytherin.

"They lead Gryffindor 90 to 30." Lee announces

Harry rises higher up in the air, watching the game from atop his broomstick when Malfoy flies up behind him, causing the boy wizard to look his way.

"Alright there, Scarhead?" Malfoy taunts

Harry ignores him and looks down to see a Bludger flying toward him. Harry ducks his head down and watches as the Bludger takes off into the sky. Wood flies up to Harry, warning him about the Bludger.

"Watch yourself, Harry." Wood says

Harry looks past Wood and saw that the Bludger was coming back and heading straight for him.

"Wood, look out!" Harry exclaims

Wood turns to look at the Bludger, but it was too late to avoid it as the Bludger smashes into Wood, breaking the shaft of his broomstick and sending him spinning towards the ground. Harry ducks his head down to avoid the Bludger as it flies past him, but then it comes back around and chases after him. Harry zoomed at full speed towards the other end of the field, but the Bludger stayed right on his tail.

Hagrid, Devon, Ron, Hermione, and the other Gryffindors saw this from the stands as Hagrid watched Harry through his binoculars as he flew around the pitch like a rollarcoaster to try and shake the Bludger. Bludgers in Quidditch never concentrated on one player like this. Why was this one only chasing after Harry?

"Blimey! Harry's got himself a rogue Bludger. That's been tampered with, that has." Hagrid exclaims pointing with his left-hand

Ron takes out his broken wand in his right-hand and aims it out at the rogue Bludger to try and help Harry.

"I'll stop it." Ron says

Before Ron could use any spells, Devon immediately grabs his arm and pushes it down.

"Ron, no. You're wand's broken, remember? The last thing you wanna do is blast yourself with another spell, unless you want a trip to the hospital wing." Devon says

"Devon's right. Even with a proper wand, it's too risky. Besides, you could hit Harry." Hermione says

Harry weaves around the spectator towers to try and shake the Bludger, but it smashes right through them, leaving holes in the sides. Flying towards the fifth tower, Harry does a quick dive, flies past the Slytherin goal posts, and loops around towards another spectator tower. At the last second, he flies straight up along the tower while the rogue Bludger smashes into it, disappearing inside. Harry flies back onto the field and stops infront of Malfoy, who had an amused expression.

"Training for the ballet, Potter?" Malfoy taunts

Harry looks past Malfoy as he notices something shiny hovering behind him. It was the Golden Snitch. He soon heard the gibberish voice of the rogue Bludger approaching behind him and he quickly ducked down. Malfoy ducks down too as the Bludger shoots past him.

Seizing his chance, Harry zooms past Malfoy, chasing after the small golden ball. Malfoy quickly catches up with Harry and hits him with his right-arm, pushing past him. He reaches out with his left-hand to grab the snitch, but it flies down underneath the stadium.

Harry and Malfoy fly down and follow the Golden Snitch under the stadium, flying past dozens of wooden planks. It was like flying through an obstacle course. The rogue Bludger followed them as well, smashing through the planks as it homed in on Harry. The wizard boy approached a diagonal plank, but he performs a barrel roll and flies through the small space next to it.

"You'll never catch me, Potter!" Malfoy taunts glancing back at Harry over his left-shoulder

Eventually, Harry manages to get infront of Malfoy, but the Slytherin Seeker caught up with him and hits him in the shoulder again. The two Seekers were now side-by-side. Colin Creevey stood along the boundary of the pitch on a wooden walkway and takes a photo of Harry and Draco Malfoy chasing the Golden Snitch with his camera as they flew past him. But when he turned around, his face turns to shock as the rogue Bludger was heading his way. He quickly ducks down and narrowly avoids getting hit as the Bludger flew over him.

Back under the stadium, Harry and Malfoy, still alongside each other, weave up and down past the planks as they both fought to catch up with the Snitch. The rogue Bludger bounces off the walls under the stadium like a pinball going past Harry and Malfoy until it shoots out the right side and disappears.

A minute later, the Bludger smashes back in ahead of the two Seekers. Harry flies down while Malfoy shifts quickly to the left. The sudden surprise causes Malfoy to lose his focuses and he hits a wooden plank and flies off his broomstick. He tumbles forward onto the pitch until he lands hard on his groin and falls down on his back, leaving him out of the game. Lucius looks down at his son from his tower and rolls his eyes in disappointment.

Now by himself, Harry started closing in on the Golden Snitch as he reaches out with his right-hand. But then, the rogue Bludger flies in from the right and smashes into him, breaking his arm and knocking his gauntlet off. Using his other arm, he reaches for the Golden Snitch and catches it. He falls off his broomstick and slides on his back across the sandy ground other end of the field until he skids to a stop.

Devon, Hagrid, Ron, Hermione, and the other Gryffindors look on in shock.

"Come on. Let's go." Hermione says

From their hilltop, Alura and her sisters saw what happened and they were shocked.

"Oh, no! I do hope Harry is okay." Silvia gasps

Alura looks over at her younger sister, then glances back at the Quidditch pitch, determined to help.

"Come on, girls!" Alura says

Back on the pitch, as he laid on his back, Harry holds up the Golden Snitch, showing that he had caught it. The small ball flaps it's wings three times, then folds them up onto it's round surface.

"Harry Potter has caught the Snitch! Gryffindor wins!" Lee announces

Suddenly, Harry looks up and saw the Bludger coming down towards him. He quickly leaned over to the right, dodging the crazy ball as it smashes onto the sand. The crowd gasps as they watched in shock.

Just as Devon was about to follow Hagrid, Ron, and Hermione to the stairs to leave the stands, he looks out into the field and saw the rogue Bludger still attacking Harry.

"Harry!" Devon exclaims

Harry spread his legs out as the Bludger smashes down in between them. Devon had to get down to him fast before he gets hurt more by the Bludger. He looks down at the wooden railing, then looks up at the spectator tower on his right as he came up with an idea.

Devon climbs up onto the railing and stands on it, causing Neville and the other Gryffindors to look at him. Was he crazy? Was he actually going to jump?

"Devon? What are you doing?" Neville asks

In that moment, Devon's entire body began to glow with a blue aura. Crouching down, he jumps high up into the air towards the spectator tower, leaving a sparkling trail of light behind him, while Neville, the other Gryffindors, and pretty much everyone in the stadium watch in amazement as the Keyblade Wielder flies through the air.

Using Flowmotion, Devon flies up to the spectator tower, then jump-kicks off the side, spinning around and summoning Soul Calibur into his right-hand as he dives down towards Harry, flying down to the field like a comet. As they were descending down the stairs of the stands, Hagrid, Ron, and Hermione stopped for a moment as they watched Devon fly through the air, but they continued heading down to help Harry.

The rogue Bludger rises up into the and descends down towards Harry to attack him again, but Devon lands infront of him and holds Soul Calibur above his head with both hands, creating a spherical barrier of light around himself and Harry to shield him from the Bludger. The black iron ball smashes down on the magic barrier with a loud clanging sound, causing ripples in it's surface, and flies back up into the air before descending back down again. Devon felt the strong impact of the Bludger as it repeatedly crashes down on the barrier.

Soon, Hagrid, Ron, and Hermione come out onto the field. Hermione takes out her wand and casts a counter spell to deal with the rogue Bludger.

"Finite Incantato!" Hermione chants

A red blast of light shoots out of Hermione's wand and destroys the Bludger in mid-flight, blasting it to pieces. With the Bludger gone, Devon lowers his arms and de-summons Soul Calibur, letting out a sigh of relief. Hagrid, Ron, Hermione, and the other Gryffindors rush over to the two boys along w Gilderoy Lockhart and several students from Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, who also made their way onto the field. Alura and her unicorn sisters also arrive on the scene. Ron and Hermione were the first to Devon and Harry.

"Thanks, Devon." Harry says

"Don't mention it, Harry." Devon says

"Harry, are you alright?" Hermione asks

"No. I think... I think my arm's broken." Harry says

"Here, Harry. I have healing powers. Let me see if-" Devon says

Lockhart quickly kneels down to Harry, interrupting Devon and offering to heal his arm.

"Not to worry, Harry. I will fix that arm of yours straight away." Lockhart says

"Not you." Harry groans

"Poor boy, doesn't know what he's saying." Lockhart says

"Uh, he clearly said no, Lockhart. In fact, I have healing powers. I think maybe I should-" Devon says

"Nonsense, Devon, my boy. No need to exhaust yourself further with your spectacular magic. You've strained yourself enough already, fending off that Bludger. Please allow me. I'll have Harry's arm fixed up in no time." Lockhart says

Devon stared at Lockhart with an annoyed expression. He would certainly like to give him a piece of his mind. He was definitely strong enough with his magic to withstand the exhausting effects of his healing magic, and he could easily fix Harry's arm with no problem. But arguing with Lockhart wasn't going to help Harry.

Devon sighs and rolls his eyes, putting his hands up, allowing the celebrity wizard to proceed. He'd love to see what spell Lockhart would use on Harry. Holding up Harry's broken arm, Lockhary slides up the sleeve of his uniform, exposing his arm while Harry hisses and winced his eyes in pain.

"Now, this... won't hurt a bit." Lockhart says

Lockhart takes out his wand and points it down at Harry's arm, casting his spell.

"Brackium Emendo!" Lockhart chants

A blue light shines from the tip of Lockhart's wand, engulfing Harry's arm with it's light. With a quiet whooshing sound, the light fades away. Lockhart lifted Harry's arm up and it was now rubbery, waving back and forth like a rubber noodle, making squishy sounds. Everyone felt disgusted when they saw this. Lockhart didn't mend Harry's bones. He removed them.

"Uh, what the heck did you just do to Harry's arm?" Devon asks

"Ah... Yes, well, that can happen, but the point is..." Lockhart says

Lockhart takes Harry's hand and bends it completely over while he watches with widened eyes.

"...you can no longer feel any pain, and very clearly, the bones are not broken." Lockhart says

"Broken? There's no bones left!" Hagrid says

Harry's hand flips back over.

"Much more flexible, though." Lockhart says

Devon rolled his eyes again and let out another annoyed sigh. He knew something was bound to happen. How did Lockhart become a celebrity wizard? Was he even a real wizard? He hardly did anything to help them deal with the Pixies he released. And now he made Harry's arm even worse. This guy had to be the worst sort of wizard imaginable.

"Okay. We appreciate you trying to help, Professor Lockhart, but if you don't mind, I think it's time we took Harry to a professional doctor." Devon says

"Here. Climb on. We'll get you back to Hogwarts fast." Alura says

Devon climbs up onto Alura's back while Stella lowered down for Harry to climb onto her back. Harry rode on the unicorn wrapping his left-arm around Stellh's neck to hold on while his other arm waved around completely useless. With their two passengers onboard, Alura and Stella gallop toward the castle with the others following them.

Now back in the castle, Harry was sitting on a medical bed in the hospital wing with Devon, Ron, Hermione, and the other Gryffindors standing around him. Malfoy was in the hospital wing as well, groaning in pain from the rough landing. Madame Pomfrey, the Hogwarts nurse comes into the room with a tray of medical supplies in her hands.

Madame Poppy Pomfrey was a British/Irish Half-blood witch with a proficient in her area of expertise, Healing magic. She was exceptionally kind, but even more so strict. Devoted to her duty as Hogwarts' Matron, she took care of whatever patient came her way, magical or otherwise.

She had grey hair, light blue eyes,

She wore a red and white nurse uniform.

Pomfrey moves past Malfoy, hearing his groans. She ignores him as she had a more serious task to do.

"Oh, Mr. Malfoy, stop making such a fuss. You can go." Pomfrey says

The nurse makes her way through the group as they surrounded Harry.

"Out of my way. Out of my way!" Pomfrey says

Going over to Harry, Pomfrey sets her tray down on a table to the left of his bed. The tray had a small glass cup and a white potion bottle.

"He should have been brought straight to me." Pomfrey says

"That was our original plan, but Lockhart insisted that he helped Harry fix his arm. So, we have him to thank for this." Devon says gesturing to Harry's boneless arm

"Well, I can mend bones in a heartbeat, but growing them back?" Pomfrey says

"You will be able to, won't you?" Hermione asks

"Oh, I'll be able to, certainly, but it will be painful." Pomfrey says

A painful recovery? Devon felt really bad for Harry. He could hardly imagine having his bones regrowing under excruciating pain. Now, wanted to get Lockhart for being so stupid.

"Remind me to whack Lockhart in the head with my Keyblade after this." Devon says leaning over to Ron and Hermione

Madame Pomfrey takes the bottle and pour out the clear potion into a small clear glass.

The top part of the bottle was shaped like the rib cage and arms of ahumanskeleton, and the lid of a bottle was shaped like a human skull. The label of the bottle's side read:

1100 drops.

Bone Regenerator.

Skele-Gro

Bone-fide results everytime.

Sold only by Reubens Winkius and Company Inc.

"You're in for a rough night, Potter. Regrowing bones is a nasty business." Pomfrey says

Harry takes the glass and drinks the potion. The liquid had a dreadful taste, and it burned Harry's mouth and throat, causing him to immediately spit the potion back out. Fred, George, and a few other Gryffindors who stood infront of Harry, quickly moved out of the way as he spat out the nasty liquid. Harry groaned as he tried to get the awful taste out of his mouth.

"Well, what do you expect? Pumpkin juice?" Pomfrey says

The nurse rolls her eyes and set the potion bottle back down on the tray. Devon looks down at his right-hand, then looks up at Harry. He wasn't sure if his healing powers could regrow the bones in Harry's arm, but perhaps it could help speed up the recovery and maybe help ease the pain.

"Here. Let me see if I can help." Devon says

Devon steps up to Harry's bed and holds his right-hand out over his boneless arm with his palm open. Closing his eyes in concentration and taking a deep breath, he pours soothing energy into Harry's arm. Blue light emits from his hand and it glows brightly with pure energy. The same light envelopes Harry's arm and sparkling wisps of light appear around it and Devon's hand. Everyone, including Madame Pomfrey, watches in amazement as the Keyblade Wielder worked his magic. Soon, the light fades away and Devon pulls his hand away.

"There. It may not be much, but it should help speed up the healing process. And it should help deal with the pain." Devon says

Harry looks down at his arm and stares at it. Although he couldn't feel anything, he was very grateful for Devon's help, and he looks up at his best friend with a smile. Devon nods his head, then turns to the surrounding group.

"Alright, guys. Let's leave Harry and his arm to rest." Devon says

Ron, Hermione, and the Gryffindors nod in agreement and they start making their way out the hospital wing. Devon was about to go with them, but not before going back to Harry.

"I'll come back later tonight and check up on you, okay?" Devon says

Harry nods his head in understanding. Devon pats him twice on his right-shoulder and nods his head.

"See you then." Devon says

Having said that, the Keyblade Wielder turns and leaves the hospital wing while Harry and Madame Pomfrey watch him go.

"You're very lucky, Potter. To have Devon as a friend. Keyblade Wielders back in the day were very extraordinary with their magic, and so few of them were exceptionally skilled healers." Pomfrey says

The school matron lets out a sigh.

"Ahh... They were very loved by so many witches, wizards, and magical creatures. It's truly a shame that such wonderful people had vanished so long ago. The world could really use more of their magic." Pomfrey says

Harry looks left at Madame Pomfrey as she leaves him to rest, then he glances back at Devon as he heads out the door.

After leaving Harry in the hospital wing, Devon, Ron, and Hermione walk together across the school grounds.

"Lockhart, man. How can he be such a celebrity if can't even get a spell right?" Devon says

"Tell me about it. He looks to me like a complete idiot." Ron says

The trio soon stop when they saw Alura and her unicorn sisters approaching them.

"So, how's Harry doing?" Alura asks

"He's recovering in the hospital wing. His arm won't be fixed until tomorrow. Madame Pomfrey said it'll take the rest of the day and all night for the bones to grow back, but the process will be painful. I gave him some bit of my healing magic. Hopefully, it should help him through it." Devon says

"Oh, poor Harry. Regrowing bones is excruciatingly painful." Leila says

"Yeah. I can't imagine anything worse than that." Evelyn says

"Did you hear about what happened on Halloween?" Devon asks

"Yes, we heard. About the Chamber of Secrets." Alura says

"And about Mrs. Norris, and how she had been petrified. That poor kitty cat." Brianna says

"Do you girls know anything about the Chamber of Secrets? Devon asks

"Only that it was built thousands of years ago by Salazar Slytherin himself to house his pet monster." Stella says

"Such a vile wizard. He had such a prejudiced view of wizards and Muggle-borns, always believed that magic belonged only to Pure-blood wizard families, and no one else." Valoria says

"He was rude, inconsiderate, a really despicable wizard." Leila says

"He was a big meanie!" Silvia says

"Our mother knew the founders of Hogwarts. She said that Godric, Helga, and Rowena were much more friendly and welcoming than Salazar ever was." Alura says

"Did they ever meet any Keyblade Wielders like Devon back then?" Ron asks

"Oh, yes, Ron. They most certainly did." Evelyn says nodding her head

"The first three founders accepted Keyblade Wielders happily into the school as special guests. Salazar, on the other hand, believed they were nothing but a nuisance." Stella says

"Because they coexisted with Muggle-borns?" Hermione asks

"Yes. And because of that sole reason, he despised them. And if I recall correctly, our mother said he called them 'meddlesome fools'." Stella says

"So, I guess it's no surprise what comes next. Salazar Slytherin doesn't get his way, he leaves the school, his heart turns to darkness, and he threatens both muggles and wizards alike." Devon says

Alura nods her head.

"Yes. That's right. After he left the school, he became a dark wizard and sought to eradicate both Keyblade Wielders and Muggle-borns, taking part in the Keyblade War against the Keyblade Wielders, Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and all of wizardkind, and magical creatures." Alura says

"Until he was finally stopped by Godric Gryffindor and the Keyblade Wielders." Stella says

"So, he became the world's first dark wizard. Not Voldemort." Devon says

"Bloody hell." Ron says amazed by the story

Devon took out the Chocolate Frog card that showed Salazar Slytherin on it's side and stares down at it.

"Honestly, I'm not surprised. No doubt the Dark Lord of the Shadows took Salazar Slytherin for an ally. And that's probably what he sees in Voldemort too." Devon says

Devon puts the card back in his pocket, then looks back at the unicorns with another question.

"Any idea what the monster in the Chamber of Secrets actually is?" Devon asks

"No. None of us have ever seen the monster." Evelyn says

"But one thing we do know about this monster: It was creature that was feared by many, including us unicorns. Whatever happened to Mrs. Norris that night, it was the result of dark magic." Stella says

Devon, Ron, and Hermione shared weary glances with each other over what they just heard. Mrs. Norris so far was the first victim of the Heir of Slytherin. But how long before the Muggle-borns are attacked next?

Later that night, Devon was sitting in the Gryffindor common room on the red sofa infront of the fireplace, thinking about the story of the Chamber of Secrets and of Salazar Slytherin. It was amazing how one of the founders of Hogwarts could quickly betray wizardkind and turn to using darkness. Devon gazes at a large portrait of Godric Gryffindor above the fireplace as he smiles and nods his head to him. The young teen smiles and nods back.

Devon looks over at a clock on his left and it read 10:00. Deciding it was time to check on Harry, The Keyblade Wielder rises up from the sofa and heads out of the dormitory.

Now, out and about in the castle, Devon travels down the flame-lit corridors, heading for the hospital wing. Suddenly, the Keyblade Wielder heard the sinister voice echoing around him, making him stop in his tracks.

"Die. They all must die. Time to kill."

Devon looks around as he heard the voice. He also heard the deep, menacing growls that accompanied the voice, which sent chills down his spine. It was just like on Halloween right before Mrs. Norris was found petrified. If he was hearing the voice now, then the monster must be on the move. It was stalking inside the castle. Which would probably mean that an attack was imminent.

"Harry..." Devon gasps

Now on alert, Devon runs down the corridor, rushing to get to the hospital wing with all haste.

In the hospital wing, Harry's right-arm was now in a sling as it slowly started to heal. when the voice echoes through the air.

"Kill. Kill."

Harry's eyes snap open as he hears the voice. Rising up from his bed, he grabs his glasses, which was sitting on the table to his left, and puts them on, glancing around the room. Everything fell eerily silent.

Then, he heard footsteps coming from outside. Was it Devon coming to see him? He did promise him that he would. Or, even more frightening, could it be the monster stalking him? Harry braced himself for whoever or whatever was coming in.

Soon, the door opened, revealing who it was. It was Devon who quickly came inside. Once he saw the Keyblade Wielder, Harry let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh, Devon." Harry sighs

"Harry!" Devon says

Devon shuts the door to the hospital wing and hastily walks over to the boy wizard, coming over to his right-side.

"The voice. I heard it again." Devon says

"I heard it too." Harry says

"It's gotta be the. monster. It out loose in the castle. I think it's-" Devon says

The voice echoes in the air again, causing the two boys to glance up at the ceiling.

"Time to kill."

The deep growls fill the air as Devon and Harry stare long and hard at the ceiling. They soon look down and saw a small magical creature standing infront of them on Harry's bed. It was Dobby, the house-elf, who greeted the two boys with a smile.

"Hello." Dobby greets

"Dobby?" Devon and Harry say in unison

"Harry Potter and Devon should have listened to Dobby. Harry Potter and Devon should have gone back home when they missed the train." Dobby says

"Wait a minute. Dobby, that was you?" Devon asks in surprise

"Yes, sir." Dobby says nodding his head in shame

"So, you stopped the barrier from letting Devon, Ron, and me through." Harry says

"Indeed. Yes, sir." Dobby says nodding his head again

"You nearly got Ron and me expelled." Harry says

"At least you would be away from here. Harry Potter must go home. Dobby thought his Bludger would be enough to make Harry Potter see that-" Dobby says

"You're Bludger? You made that Bludger chase after me?" Harry says

"What? Dobby, how could you?" Devon says

"Dobby feels most aggrieved, sir. Dobby had to iron his hands." Dobby says

The house-elf shows Devon and Harry his hands, which were all wrapped up in bandages.

"You'd better clear off before my bones come back, Dobby, or I might strangle you." Harry says

Dobby gasps and jumps down from the medical bed. He runs over to Devon and hides behind his legs, hiding from Harry as he got out from his bed.

"Dobby is used to death threats, sir. Dobby gets them five times a day at home." Dobby says

"I don't suppose you could tell us why you're trying to kill me?" Harry says

Dobby backed away from the two boys as they went around the bed.

"Not kill you, sir. Never kill you. Dobby remembers how it was before Harry Potter triumphed over He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. We house-elves were treated like vermin, sir. Of course, Dobby is still treated like a vermin." Dobby says

Dobby started crying as he buried his face in his hands. Devon felt really bad for Dobby. He had no idea that this poor creature was suffering this type of abuse. Death threats? Harsh punishment? What kind of wizard family would be so cruel to their servants?

"I'm sorry, Dobby. I had no idea you had it this bad." Devon apologizes

Dobby blows his long nose on his already dirty pillowcase robe while Devon and Harry watch.

"Dobby, why do you wear that thing? Devon asks

"This, sir? It is the mark of the house-elf's enslavement. Dobby can only be freed if his master presents him with clothes." Dobby says holding his

"We can only guess how often that's happened." Devon says glancing at Harry on his left

Suddenly, there was a loud banging noise outside, causing the Keyblade Wielder, wizard boy, and the house-elf to look towards the door of the hospital wing.

"That sounded close." Devon says

Dobby jumps up onto the medical bed and beckons Devon and Harry to come closer.

"Listen... Listen!" Dobby says

The two boys move closer to Dobby as he speaks to them.

"Terrible things are about to happen at Hogwarts. Harry Potter and Devon must not stay here now that history is to repeat itself." Dobby says

"Repeat itself?" Harry asks

"You mean this has happened before?" Devon asks

Dobby gasps and covers his mouth with his hands, realizing what he had just said.

"Oh! I shouldn't have said that." Dobby says

Dobby grabs the Skele-Gro potion and whacks himself in the head with the bottom of the bottle.

"Bad Dobby! Bad!" Dobby says

"Dobby, stop it. Stop it." Harry says

"Dobby, stop!" Devon says

Harry takes the potion bottle from Dobby and sets it back down on the table before grabbing Dobby his pillowcase robe with his and pulling the house-elf closer to him.

"Tell us, Dobby. When did this happen before? Who's doing it now?" Harry asks

"Dobby cannot say, sir. Dobby only wants Harry Potter and Devon to be safe." Dobby says placing his right-hand over Harry's left-hand

"Dobby, if you don't tell us who's responsible for this, innocent witches and wizards are gonna get hurt. You need to tell us. Who is it?" Devon says

The doors to the hospital wing opens up, causing Dobby to look over towards the entrance. Without saying another word, he snaps his right-fingers, disappearing into thin air from Harry's grip. Looking towards the door to the room, Devon was Harry saw shadows on the wall and the floor. Someone was coming.

"Quick! Get back in bed! Devon says pointing to the bed with his right-hand

Harry nods and goes back into his bed, covering himself with the blankets and turning his body away with his back towards the door. Devon turns around and saw Dumbledore walking into the room with Professor McGonagall, and Madame Pomfrey.

"Professor Dumbledore! I was just checking on Harry. He's just-" Devon says walking toward the headmaster, Transfiguration teacher, and school matron

Devon immediately stopped when he noticed that they were carrying someone. It was a student. His face turns to utter shock as his fears became apparent. It was starting. The monster was now hunting the students and it has claimed it's first human victim.

"Put him over here." Pomfrey says pointing to a bed to her right

Dumbledore and McGonagall set the petrified student down on the bed as Devon rushes over to their side.

"What happened?" Devon asks

"There has been another attack." Dumbledore says

"Who is it?" Devon asks

Devon glances down at the student and looks him over. He was a Gryffindor student indicated by the red-gold lion badge on his robes. And he held a camera infront of his face. There was only one student he knew that used a camera.

"Colin..." Devon says

"I think... Do you know, I think he's been petrified." McGonagall says

Devon places his right-hand on Colin's left-shoulder and he felt stiff as a board. This definitely confirmed that Colin was petrified.

"You're right, professor. It's just like with Mrs. Norris. He's completely frozen stiff." Devon says

The Keyblade Wielder glances back at McGonagall.

"Where was he found?" Devon asks

"Just down the corridor." McGonagall says

Devon looks back down at Colin's frozen form, feeling slightly guilty. He must've followed him when he left the common room to check on Harry, probably to get a picture of him and his arm. If he had known, he could've saved him. Although, even if he knew, he couldn't have stopped him anyway since Colin was persistent. And he could've ended up petrified same as him by the monster.

The four quickly notice the camera in Colin's hands. If it was possible that he got a picture of the monster...

"Perhaps he managed to take a picture of his attacker." McGonagall says

Devon takes hold of Colin's camera and carefully slides it out from his grip, revealing his frightened face with his eyes closed. The Keyblade Wielder turns the camera around and flips open the back to get the film, and a puff of smoke shoots out, startling McGonagall and Pomfrey, who both take a step back. The film had been burnt to the melting point, practically useless.

"Argh! No good. So much for a shot of the monster." Devon groans

"What can this mean, Albus?" McGonagall asks

"It means that our students are in great danger." Dumbledore says

"What should I tell the staff?" McGonagall asks

"The truth. Tell them Hogwarts is no longer safe. It is as we feared, Minerva. The Chamber of Secrets has indeed been opened again." Dumbledore says

Devon stares at Dumbledore with a shocked expression. It was exactly what Dobby told him and Harry. The wizard boy, who had been listening to the entire conversation, also had an equally shocked expression on his face.

The next morning, Harry's arm was now fully healed and he was back with Devon, Ron, and Hermione, prepping the Polyjuice Potion in a disused bathroom as their makeshift laboratory.

This bathroom was on the second floor of Hogwarts and it was the gloomiest, most depressing bathroom in the whole school. The floor was damp. All the sinks in the bathroom were arranged in a column. And the wooden doors to the stalls were flaking and scratched. One of them was dangling off its hinges.

Hermione sat down on the floor with a small cauldron infront of her as she worked on brewing the Polyjuice Potion. Devon and Harry sat across from her while Ron leaned back against one of the stalls with his arms crossed. As they were together in the bathroom, Devon and Harry told Ron and Hermione what they had heard from last night.

"Again? You mean, the Chamber of Secrets has been opened before?" Hermione asks

"That's what Dumbledore said. Heard it myself. Just after Colin was found petrified." Devon says

"Don't blame yourself, Devon. You couldn't have known." Harry says

"Of course. Don't you see? Lucius Malfoy must have opened it when he was at school here, and now he's taught Draco how to do it." Ron says

"Maybe, but we still don't know that yet. Too soon to tell." Devon says glancing back at Ron over his left-shoulder

"We'll have to wait for the Polyjuice Potion to know for sure." Hermione says

"Enlighten me. Why are we brewing this potion in broad daylight... in the middle of the girls' lavatory? Don't you think we'll get caught?" Ron asks

"No. No one ever comes in here." Hermione says

"Really? Why's that?" Devon asks looking at Hermione

"Moaning Myrtle." Hermione says

"Who?" Ron asks

Unknown to Devon, Harry, and Ron, a ghost floats out from one of the stalls upon hearing it's name with a sour look on it's face. Only Hermione saw the ghost as she came out.

It appeared to be a female student with a squat body, pimples on her face, and thick glasses. This was the haunted spirit of a former student of Hogwarts once known as Myrtle Warren, or as she was known by her nickname...

"Moaning Myrtle." Hermione says

"Who's Moaning Myrtle?" Ron asks

The ghost floats over to Ron and goes up to his face, telling him who she was.

"I'm Moaning Myrtle."

Devon and Harry turn around as they heard Myrtle's voice. The ghostly student floats past the Keyblade Wielder and the Wizarding Trio and up to the column of sinks, turning to face them.

"I wouldn't expect you to know me. Who would ever talk about ugly, miserable, moping, Moaning Myrtle." Myrtle says

Myrtle starts crying and she flies back down, letting out a loud wail as she passes the heroes again. She flies over to the stall she came out of and dives into the toilet, causing a ton of water to splash out like a miniature geyser.

"She's a little sensitive." Hermione says

"You don't say." Devon says raising his right-eyebrow

The Keyblade Wielder looks back at the stall that Myrtle went into and he held a curious expression. He was familiar with the ghosts of Hogwarts like Sir Nicholas, but he had never heard about the ghost of a former student haunting Hogwarts. But if Myrtle was once a student here, how did she die?

The school of Hogwarts was now in the month of December and Christmas was drawing near. News of the attack on Colin quickly spreaded throughout the school and everyone was worried, except for those in Slytherin house. Believing it was time to prepare the school for future attacks, Professor Dumbledore made arrangements with Lockhart to start a Dueling Club in order to train the students to defend themselves.

The club took place in the Great Hall with Lockhart as the leading teacher for the class. A long, wide table stretched out across the hall from one side to the other with pictures of the four lunar phases of the moon. Starting from the back of the hall was the new moon, the first quarter, the full moon, and the last quarter, ending at the doors of the hall.

Beginning his session, Lockhart stands up on the long table and walks down it's length, calling out to the students around him.

"Gather round! Gather round." Lockhart says

All of the students and Devon gather around the long table as Lockhart walks across them.

"Can you all see me? Can you all hear me?" Lockhart asks

Lockhart looks around at the students and saw that they were all looking at him. The celebrity wizard held a pleased expression.

"Excellent. In light of the dark events of recent weeks, Professor Dumbledore has granted me permission to start this little Dueling Club to train you all up in case you ever need to defend yourselves, as I myself have done on countless occasions. For full details, see my published works." Lockhart says

Lockhart whips off his golden cloak and tosses over to his right at Katie Bell, who catches it in her hands. A student standing next to Harry and Devon on their left glances at them, admiring Lockhart in his fame. This was Justin Finch-Fletchley.

Justin was was a 12-year old British/Irish Muggle-born student at Hogwarts. His house was Hufflepuff since he was outgoing, talkative, cheerful, and friendly. He seemed a little naive and easily impressed and influenced by others. He even he believed all ofGilderoy Lockhart's tales and admired him greatly.

He had dark brown hair and brown eyes.

"That Lockhart's something, isn't he? Awfully brave chap." Justin says

Justin shakes Harry's hand as he introduces himself.

"Justin Finch-Fletchley. Hufflepuff."

"Nice to meet you. I'm-" Harry says

"I know who you are. We all do. Even us Muggle-borns." Justin says

The Hufflepuff student looks over at Devon next.

"And, of course, everyone knows who you are." Justin says

Justin grabs Devon's hand and shakes it as well, delighted to meet him.

"It's such a pleasure to meet you, Devon. I've heard so much about you. You're just as famous as Harry." Justin says

"Thanks." Devon says

Devon, Harry, and Justin look back up at Lockhart as he speaks.

"Let me introduce my assistant..." Lockhart says

Lockhart turns and gestures his right-hand towards the other end of the table.

"Professor Snape." Lockhart says

Everyone looks down the table and watch as Snape steps up onto the long table, walking along it's length towards Lockhart with his wand in his right-hand.

"He has sportingly agreed to help me with a short demonstration. Now, I don't want any of you youngsters to worry. You'll still have your Potions master when I'm through with him. Never fear." Lockhart says

The two teachers walk toward the center of the hall and face each other. They hold up their wands to their faces for a moment, then bring them back down to their sides before bowing their heads. Lockhart and Snape turn and take a couple steps away from each other, then turn and get into their dueling stances. Lockhart held his wand like a fencing sword while Snape held his wand over his head with his left-hand stretched forward.

"One... Two... Three." Lockhart counts

"Expelliarmus!" Snape chants

Snape aims his wand at Lockhart and a dazzling flash of scarlet light shoots out of his wand as he casts a powerful Disarming Charm. The blast shoots across the hall and hits Lockhart right in the chest. It was so powerful that it sent him flying through the air to the other end of the table. He lands flat on his back, but a short moment later, he slowly sits up looking over at the Potions master.

"Do you think he's alright?" Hermione asks

"Who cares?" Ron says

With a smile still on his face, Lockhart rises up onto his feet and walks back over to Snape.

"An excellent idea to show them that, Professor Snape, but if you don't mind me saying, it was pretty obvious what you were about to do, and if I had wanted to stop you, it would have been only too easy." Lockhart says

"Perhaps it would be more prudent to first teach the students to block unfriendly spells, Professor." Snape says

Lockhart stared at Snape for a moment, but soon nods his head in agreement.

"An excellent suggestion, Professor Snape. Well... Let's have a volunteer pair." Lockhart says

The celebrity wizard looks over to his right towards Harry and Ron as they stood together with Devon and Hermione.

"Potter, Weasley, how about you?" Lockhart asks

"Weasley's wand causes devastation with the simplest of spells. We'll be sending Potter to the hospital wing in a matchbox. Might I suggest someone from my own house?" Snape says

The Potions master spreads his hands out in a questioning manner.

"Malfoy, perhaps?" Snape says

Turning away from Lockhart, Snape looks down at Malfoy, points at him with his right-hand, then points back to the table with his thumb. Malfoy climbs up onto the table and walks toward the center. Lockhart heads toward the other end of the table as Harry steps up.

"Good luck, Potter." Lockhart says

"Thank you, sir." Harry says

Harry and Malfoy soon meet in the center of the hall and they stare each other down. Malfoy had a confident smile on his face while Harry held a serious expression.

"Wands at the ready." Lockhart says

Harry and Malfoy hold up their wands to their faces as instructed.

"Scared, Potter?" Malfoy taunts with a smile

"You wish." Harry says

The two young wizards bring their wands back down to their sides and they turn and walk away from each other, going over to their respective sides. They soon turn and get into their dueling stances, holding their wands straight out toward one another.

"On the count of three, cast your charms to disarm your opponent, only to disarm. We don't want any accidents here." Lockhart instructs

Harry and Malfoy hold their stances as Lockhart starts counting down.

"One... Two..." Lockhart counts

Malfoy makes the first move and casts his spell.

"Everte Statum!" Malfoy chants

Malfoy points his wand at Harry and an orange blast of light shoots out and hits Harry square in the chest. Harry was sent flying back through the air, flipping over backwards five times until he lands on his right-side.

Devon, Ron, Hermione, and the other Gryffindors shared shocked glances with each other while Crabbe, Goyle, and the other Slytherins smiled.

Malfoy himself smiled in triumph, but that soon ended when Harry quickly got back on his feet. Aiming his wand at Malfoy, Harry casts his own spell.

"Rictusempra!" Harry chants

A swirling jet of silver light shoots out of Harry's wand and hits Malfoy in the stomach, sending him backwards and spinning through the air. Malfoy falls and lands on his rump, right infront of Snape, who looked down at him with a disappointed scowl.

Devon, Ron, Hermione, and the other Gryffindors laughed at this. Snape grabs Malfoy by his robe, lifts him up onto his feet, then roughly shoves him forward. Malfoy got back into his stance as did Harry.

"I said disarm only." Lockhart says

"Serpensortia!" Malfoy chants

Malfoy waves his wand with large, wild movements and points it forward, casting his spell. A white light shines from the tip of his wand and a tan-colored cobra shoots out, falling heavily onto the table. The snake rises up and hisses menacingly as it slithers forward.

Before Harry could do anything, Snape steps forward, moving past Malfoy as he moves to deal with the snake.

"Don't move, Potter. I'll get rid of it for you." Snape says

"Allow me, Professor Snape." Lockhart says

Lockhart steps forward and points his wand at the cobra, casting his spell.

"Alarte Ascendare!" Lockhart chants

A red light engulfs the snake, sending it upward ten feet into the air. The snake falls back down to the table with a loud smack, aggravated even further.

"Well, that was useless." Devon mutters

Before anyone could do anything else, Harry steps forward and walks toward the snake, appearing as though he were in some sort of trance. And he spoke words that sounded like he was hissing like a snake.

"Hasea gassa sig." Harry says

The cobra glances around at all the students in the hall until it sets it's sights on Justin Finch-Fletchley. Devon stretches his left-hand out and quickly moves infront of Justin, trying to shift the cobra's gaze onto him. As he continued approaching the snake, Harry spoke his new mysterious language again.

"Sayha gassi hef." Harry says

The cobra continues menacing Justin, hissing loudly at him as Devon defended him. Harry stops a few feet before the snake and speaks the strange language once more.

"Sayha gassi hef." Harry says

The snake turns to Harry and hisses at him. Harry stares long into it's eyes and the snake stares back at him.

"Vipera Evanesca." Snape chants

Snape waves his wand and points it at the cobra, casting his spell. A black smoke engulfs the snake and it falls over onto it's back and burns away, leaving only ashes of it's existence.

As soon as the snake was gone, Harry blinked his eyes as if waking up from his trance. He had no idea of what just happened.

"What are you playing at?" Justin asks

Harry glances over at Justin, who thought he had lost his mind. He looks at Devon, Ron, and Hermione, who just stared at him with aghast faces. Then, he looks over at Lockhart on his left, and Snape on his right, who shared similar expressions. No one in the Great Hall said a single word.

After the dueling club, Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione return to the Gryffindor common room, discussing over what they just saw.

"You're a Parselmouth? Why didn't you tell us?" Ron asks

"I'm a what?" Harry asks

"You can talk to snakes." Hermione says

"I know. I mean, I accidentally set a python on my cousin, Dudley at the zoo once. Once. But so what? I bet loads of people here can do it." Harry says

"No, they can't. It's not a very common gift, Harry. This is bad." Hermione says

"What's bad? If I hadn't told that snake not to attack Justin-" Harry says

"Oh, that's what you said to it." Ron says

"You were there. You heard me." Harry says

"I heard you speaking Parseltongue. Snake language." Ron says

"Wait a minute... There's a language for snakes?" Devon asks

"I spoke a different language? But I didn't realize... How can I speak a language without knowing I can?" Harry asks

"I don't know, Harry, but it sounded like you were egging the snake on. Harry, listen to me. There's a reason the symbol of Slytherin house is a serpent. Salazar Slytherin was a Parselmouth. He could talk to snakes too." Hermione says

"Exactly. Now the whole school is going to think you're his great-great-great grandson or something." Ron says

"But I'm not! I can't be." Harry says

"He lived a thousand years ago. For all we know, you could be." Hermione says

Devon looks back and forth between Harry and Hermione. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Shaking his head in denial, the Keyblade Wielder walks over to Harry's side, defending him.

"No. I don't believe it. If you guys think for one second that Harry is the Heir of Slytherin, you're dead wrong! There's no way that Harry's a descendant of Slytherin. Sure, he may be a Parselmouth, but that doesn't mean anything. I'm sure there's another explanation for this." Devon says

Devon turns and looks at Harry.

"Harry, remember last year when your scar burned up whenever Voldemort was around? Maybe it's the same reason why you can talk to snakes. It must have something to do with your scar." Devon says

"How can you be sure?" Harry asks

Devon smiles and places his right-hand on Harry's shoulder.

"Because I know you, Harry. I'm certain of it." Devon says

A few days later, Harry continued his classes with Devon, Ron, and Hermione in History of Magic class with Professor Cuthbert Binns as they sat together at long table. Harry looks around at his fellow students and they quickly turned away from him. Ever since the day of the Dueling Club, he was suspected as being the Height of Slytherin. Hardly anyone spoke to him. Only Devon, Ron, and Hermione stood by him, believing he was still innocent. Tired of being scrutinized by the other students, Harry sets down his quill pen, closes his book, and stands up.

"I'll see you back in the common room." Harry says

Taking his leave, Harry heads up the stairs and exits the room. Devon watched him go, then looks back at Ron and Hermione, who remained silent. Putting his quill pen down, he gets up, and quickly goes to follow Harry out. As soon as they were gone, some Hufflepuff students began to talk amongst themselves. Tow of these students were Ernest 'Ernie' Macmillan and Hannah Abbott, both of whom were friends of Justin.

Ernest Macmillan was a 12-year old Pure-blood British/Irish student in Hufflepuff. Although he was somewhat pompous, he was loyal to his friends and honest, which were marks of a true Hufflepuff.

He had a stout body, blond hair, light skin, and blue eyes.

Hannah Abbott was a 12-year old Half-blood British/Irish student also in Hufflepuff. She was naive and loyal to her friends.

She had a pink face, long blonde hair, a light skin color, and blue eyes.

"So anyway, I told Justin to hide up in our dormitory. I mean to say, if Potter's marked him down as his next victim, it's best he keeps a low profile for a while." Ernie says

"But why would he want to attack Justin?" Hannah asks

"Well, Justin let it slip to Potter that he was a Muggle-born." Ernie says

"And you definitely think Potter's the Heir of Slytherin?" Hannah asks

"Hannah, he's a Parselmouth. Everyone knows that's the mark of a Dark Wizard. Have you ever heard of a decent one who could talks to snakes? They called Slytherin himself Serpent-tongue." Ernie says

"Harry always seems so nice, though. Devon trusts him, and he's a Keyblade Wielder. He'd never let Harry do anything bad to anyone. And, after all, Harry's the one who made You-Know-Who disappear." Hannah says

"That's probably why You-Know-Who wanted to kill him in the first place. He didn't want another Dark Lord competing with him." Ernie says

Unknown to the two Hufflepuffs, Devon hadn't actually left yet. He had been hiding around the corner, listening to their entire conversation. He could not believe what he just heard. Why would Ernie think that Harry would want to become a dark wizard like Lord Voldemort? It was absolutely crazy. At least Hannah seemed to be loyal to him and Harry. Not wanting to hear any more, Devon shook his head and leaves the classroom.

Harry was now out in the school corridors, heading back to the common room when he heard his name being called out.

"Harry." A voice calls

Harry turns around and saw Devon coming out from around the corner. The Keyblade Wielder walks over and joins the wizard boy.

"You heading back to the common room too?" Harry asks

"Yeah. I couldn't just sit in there any longer. I can't believe everyone in the school suspects that you're the Heir of Slytherin. It's just complete bull! I hope that the Polyjuice Potion is ready soon cause we need to get to the bottom of this." Devon says

"Right" Harry says

Suddenly, the two boys stop as they heard the disembodied voice again.

"Blood. I want blood. They all must die."

Devon places his left-hand on the wall and both he and Harry follow the voice as it travels through the corridor, getting louder and louder.

"Kill. Kill. Kill! Time to kill."

Everything falls silent as the voice fades away. Devon and Harry shared worried glances with each other. If they were hearing the voice now, then that must mean another attack.

Devon and Harry turn around the corner and they find the floor wet with puddles. Looking back up, they also saw the Gryffindor ghost of Sir Nicholas floating in the air with his head lopsided to the right, hanging by the sinew of his ghostly skin. He appeared to have been petrified too as he floated unresponsive.

"Sir Nicholas..." Devon gasps

The Keyblade Wielder and wizard boy shift their gaze down and they saw Justin Finch-Fletchley down on his back.

"Justin!" Devon exclaims

Devon and Harry lower down to Justin and they look him over. Of course, they already knew he had been petrified as he was frozen stiff.

"That's three victims already. This is not good." Devon says

As the two boys surrounded Justin's frozen form, Mr. Filch comes out from the other side of the corridor and stumbles upon the scene.

"Caught in the act." Mr. Filch says

Devon and Harry jumped with a start and spin around when they heard the caretaker's voice.

"I'll have you out this time, Potter. Mark my words." Mr. Filch says

"No, Mr. Filch. You don't understand-" Harry says

The Keyblade Wielder quickly rises up and runs to the corner of the corridor and leans out around the side, yelling out to Mr. Filch.

"Mr. Filch! Wait! It's not us! It's not us!" Devon yells

Devon's voice, even as it echoes out, falls on deaf ears as the caretaker continues walking down the corridor. The Keyblade Wielder drops his right-hand and lets out a sigh.

"Devon, look." Harry says

Walking back over to Harry, Devon saw the spiders crawling away on the floor and out the snow-covered window.

"Spiders. Again. Like before with Mrs. Norris." Devon says

Footsteps are heard and Devon and Harry turn to their left to see Professor McGonagall and Mr. Filch arrive on the scene. The Transfiguration teacher looks over at the two boys, then glances down at Justin's petrified body.

"Professor... I swear I didn't." Harry says

"This is out of my hands, Potter." McGonagall says shaking her head

Devon puts on a serious look and he moves infront of Harry.

"Then, we'll take this up with Dumbledore." Devon says

While Justin was being watched over by Mr. Filch, Professor McDonald escorts Devon and Harry to Dumbledore's office, which was in the Headmaster's tower. She leads them down the corridor to a large golden gryffin, which stood proudly in a circular space inside with it's wings spread out and curled around.

"Professor Dumbledore will be waiting for you." McGonagall says

Devon and Harry step inside and stood in-between the gryffin's wings. Then, they turn around and face the Transfiguration teacher and she speaks two words.

"Sherbet Lemon." McGonagall says

McGonagall opened her hands to the gryffin statue and the floor beneath Devon and Harry rumbles to life. A hidden spiral staircase emerges from under their feet, rising up like an elevator. The two boys ride the stairs as they ascend upwards while McGonagall watches as they disappear out of sight. Eventually, Devon and Harry arrive at the top and they step forward to a wooden door, which most likely led to Dumbledore's office.

Devon opens the door and he and Harry step inside. They look around but don't see Dumbledore's anywhere.

"Professor Dumbledore?" Harry calls

Coming into the room, the two boys glance around at their surroundings. Out of all the teachers' offices that Devon and Harry had visited so far, Dumbledore's was by far the most interesting.

It was a large and beautiful circular room. It was divided into three areas as well as a loft.

The entrance had many portraits of old headmasters and headmistresses, along with dozens of glass cabinets, wooden shelves, and tables full of Dumbledore's curios and peculiar instruments.

The main office had the headmaster's desk and chair as well as bookcases which surrounded it. Behind the desk was a small sitting room.

And the loft, accessed by flights of steps on both sides of the desk area. There was also another small flight of steps on the loft that lead even higher up, providing a bird's eye view of the office.

Devon and Harry looked up at the shelves to their left and they saw the Sorting Hat sitting at the very top. The hat comes alive as it senses the presence of the Keyblade Wielder and the wizard boy and looks down at them.

"Bee in your bonnet, Potter?" The Sorting Hat says

"I was just wondering if you put me in the right house." Harry says

"Yes... You were particularly difficult to place, but I stand by what I said last year. You would've done well in Slytherin." The Sorting Hat says

While Harry stares up at the hat, Devon shook his head and spoke up.

"You're wrong." Devon says

The Sorting Hat raises it's singular brow in a questioning manner. Harry glances over at Devon on his left.

"Just look at what Harry had accomplished last year. He fought against a troll on Halloween. Won Gryffindor their first victory in Quidditch. Caught the Golden Snitch. And without him, Gryffindor wouldn't have won the house cup. There's no way he could've done all that with Slytherin." Devon says gesturing his right-hand to Harry.

The Keyblade Wielder turned to the wizard boy and looks at him with a kind smile on his face.

"I'd say you made the right choice joining Gryffindor, Harry. It's who you are, what you are, and it's where you belong, and don't let anyone tell you different." Devon says

Harry stares at Devon, surprised by his words, but he soon smiles and nods his head.

"Thank you, Devon." Harry says

Turning away from the Sorting Hat, the two boys wall over to the main office and approach the headmaster's desk. To their right was Fawkes, the red phoenix, which Devon and Harry remembered was Dumbledore's pet bird. The magical creature stood its perch, looking down at the Keyblade Wielder and wizard boy. But by the look of it, the bird was appeared to be very ill, decrepit and baleful like a half-plucked turkey. And right before their eyes, the phoenix burst into flames and it's ashes fall onto a large metal plate below.

"Harry? Devon?" A voice says

The Keyblade Wielder and wizard boy look up in surprise and they both saw Dumbledore above them in the loft.

"Professor." Devon and Harry say in unison

"Sir, your bird... There was nothing we could do. He just caught fire." Harry says gesturing to Fawkes perch

"Oh, and about time too. He's been looking dreadful for days. Pity that you both had to see him on a Burning Day." Dumbledore says

Dumbledore descends down the stairs and explains more to the boys.

"Fawkes is a phoenix, boys. They burst into flame when it is time for them to die, and then they are... reborn from the ashes." Dumbledore explains gesturing to the pile of ash

The headmaster walks over to Fawkes' perch and the three watch as the phoenix, now a newborn, emerges from the pile of ash. Dumbledore lowers down with a smile on his face as Fawkes looks up at them, cooing happily.

"Ahh... Fascinating creatures, phoenixes. They can carry immensely heavy loads, and their tears have healing powers." Dumbledore says

Devon and Harry both smiled as they gazed down at Fawkes. They had to admit, he did look cute as a baby phoenix. Suddenly, the door to Dumbledore's office opens up and Hagrid steps in with a dead rooster in his right-hand.

"Professor Dumbledore, sir. Wait, listen." Hagrid says

The Half-giant steps up to the headmaster, looking panicked. Obviously, he must've heard what happened to Justin and came to defend Devon and Harry.

"Professor Dumbledore, sir. It wasn't Harry, or Devon." Hagrid says

"Ah, Hagrid..." Dumbledore says

"In fact, I'd be prepared to swear it infront of the Ministry of Magic." Hagrid says

"Hagrid!" Dumbledore says raising his right-hand and his voice

Hagrid fell silent as Dumbledore rose his voice. Holding up his right-hand, Dumbledore spoke in a calm manner, assuring him that everything was alright.

"Relax. I do not believe that Harry or Devon attacked anyone." Dumbledore says placing his hands on Devon and Harry's shoulders

"Of course you don't. And... Oh. Oh... Right. Well, I'll, uh-" Hagrid says

Hagrid clears his throat.

"Ahem... I'll wait outside." Hagrid says

"Yes." Dumbledore says

Bowing his head, Hagrid turns and leaves the office. Once he was gone, Devon and Harry turn to Dumbledore.

"You don't think it was us, professor?" Harry asks

"No, Harry. I do not think it was you or Devon." Dumbledore says

"Well, I always knew you were on our side, Dumbledore." Devon says

"But I must ask you... Is there something you both wished to tell me?" Dumbledore asks

Devon and Harry both shared glances with each other, unsure if they should tell him anything. Devon shrugged his shoulders and the two boys turn back to Dumbledore.

"No, sir. Nothing." Harry says

"And you, Devon?" Dumbledore asks turning to the Keyblade Wielder on his right

Devon shook his head and he let out a sigh.

"Nothing." Devon says

"Very well, then. Off you go." Dumbledore says

With their meeting finished, the Keyblade Wielder and wizard boy turn and leave Dumbledore's office while the headmaster watch them go.
