A/N. It's the first chapter with Lily Potter and expect a few other wizarding figures to turn up.

Chapter 3- Breaking Away

Gromgor's Black Zero Command had expanded its borders, having defeated several traitorous warlords, several pirate groups and taken over some WSF outposts. Gromgor had anticipated a strong attack from the allies, whom he knew that they knew he was gaining strength and had fortified several important islands. In the end, he hadn't needed to worry about his territory at that point in time.

A few weeks earlier, Harry Potter and the WSF had launched an attack that devastated an island and almost destroyed its native population. The WSF claimed that powerful magic had deceived them and various members of the allied nations supported their claims such as the Vampire Counts of Sylvania, many resistance groups and some certain sects of the Chaos powers. The Vast majority of the allied powers however did not believe them so they severed their ties with Harry Potter and the WSF. Most of the wizarding world likewise severed their ties to their beloved hero (again)and tensions within the wizarding world were rising over the issue of their saviour.

Lily Potter was sitting in the headmaster's office at Hogwarts, silently fuming at the gathered audience in there. The Order of the Phoenix, high-ranking members of the Ministry of Magic and important business people from the wizarding world were all gathered to talk about Harry and the WSF. Lily found all the talk to be very negative, which it was.

Everyone was talking about how best to handle the situation.

"He should be arrested when he is captured and imprisoned in Azkaban." The Minister of Magic said angrily.

"Why bother? Just set the Dementors on him and we can be rid of him." A businessman remarked bluntly. He definitely had no love of Harry Potter or his WSF group.

"Because he can be offered redemption for his crimes. He was a good, well meaning student before my first death." Dumbledore replied simply. He then commented about the businessman's desire to use the Dementors to take out Harry, "We still do follow the law, Mr Roshford."

After the reality merge, a number of significant recent figures in the Wizarding World found themselves resurrected as a result. Albus Dumbledore and Voldemort were amongst those resurrected.

"Albus, you are assuming my son is guilty evidence proving it or otherwise." Lily said angrily.

James Potter was watching his wife, Dumbledore, the Minister of Magic and Mr Roshford with increasing concern and anticipation. He was aware that if Lily chose to go against both the Ministry and the Order then she would be hunted like her son and his supporters. He would not stop her and would give his support to whatever action she decided to take.

Albus replied to Lily, his tone sounding as though he knew everything. "There is no evidence to prove he is innocent, Lily." The Minister of Magic murmured his agreement with Albus, his thinking being that if there was no evidence to prove him innocent therefore he must be guilty.

"No, you've just not been looking hard enough. Either that or you're unwilling to look hard enough." Lily retorted, her expression very much stony.

"Mass murderers must be brought to justice, no matter what their motivations." Mr Roshford said calmly although Lily thought she could detect a poisonous tone as he spoke.

"Oh shut up you slithering bastard." She angrily bit back. "Why are you here anyway?"

"He's here because he's a valuable fundraiser for both us and the Ministry of Magic." Dumbledore said, attempting to mollify Lily. Unfortunately, it served to do the complete opposite and enrage her. She saw that as Harry had been dragged further away from the Wizarding World and towards the war still being fought, the Ministry had fallen back into old habits and that Dumbledore and some members of the Order had picked up the Ministry's old habits.

"You know what? I've had enough of this bullshit." Lily angrily shouted at the entire room. "This reminds me of the period of when I was dead, when people with enough money or the right influence and connections dictated what justice was and it sickens me that the wizarding world has gone back to those times." She then said, continuing to rant angrily at everyone in the room. "I remember the history of the Wizarding world, even the period when I was dead, when money dictated what justice was and one person's or one group's claims were automatically dismissed because it didn't fit the narrative of what was acceptable at the time. It truly sickens me that the wizarding world is back to a point before the final defeat of Voldemort."

"What are you planning to do sweetheart?" Her husband, James Potter, asked her, making his voice heard in the meeting for the first time.

"I'm going away to help my son, however I can." Lily raged, standing up and making her way to the exit.

Two Aurors and Mr Roshford attempted to stun her, firing off stunning spells but were knocked out by their own spells when Lily, almost lazily, deflected the spells back at them.

Lily left the room and then marched out of Hogwarts. She apparated away when she reached the ward boundaries of the castle. She began her search for like minded people almost as soon as she left the Headmaster's office.

James smiled sadly as he knew her course of action, watching her march away from the castle and witnessing her apparating away.

"Why didn't you go with her James? I can tell you fully support her decision." Dumbledore asked sincerely.

"I'm sticking around for when the bridges need rebuilding. It has to happen at some point." James replied.

'She's going to do something that will anger a lot of people. I just know it.' James thought to himself, barely paying any attention to the ongoing meeting around him.

After several weeks of searching, Lily began making contact with a number of ex-generals from around the world as well as sympathetic individuals. Several weeks after making contact with those individuals, she was now in a meeting with them as well as ex-special forces soldiers in an underground venue.

"I'm glad you have all decided to join this cause. I'm not going to lie, it will be tough, arduous and hellish and we will most likely be hunted by many nations and groups but we will get justice for those that have been wronged. A few months ago, I was in a meeting at Hogwarts castle and they didn't even want to search for evidence that may mean my son is innocent." Lily's tone of voice and her arguments resonated with the idealistic ex-generals.

"Lily Potter, I think I speak for all of us here when I say that we agree with you and will support your cause. Too long, justice for the people has been overridden by the war efforts of nations. WE MUST defend the people where we can, however we can." An Ex-general called Horsiga replied.

"General Horsiga is right. I fought alongside your son about five years ago at Nuln. His first concerns were always the people and the soldiers. He always said the truth and was honest. It made everyone feel good, knowing someone wasn't sugar coating a problem." Ex-General Wohler replied.

Everyone nodded in agreement and committed themselves with oaths on the spot to Lily's cause.

" I value your trust very much. I think we will soon need to start recruiting and need to find equipment for us to use." Lily said, touched by the ex-generals trust in her.

An ex-special forces operative by the name of David spoke up, "I know some people who will join no questions asked and I also know groups we can 'recruit' from, if you know what I mean."

"Thank you...David is it?" Lily asked hesitantly.

"That's right."

"Thank you David. Now where do we need to go?" She asked, wanting advice as to where to target.

A few days later, in a room somewhere in a remote Empire colony, Horsiga gave Lily a number of files. "Here's a number of Orc warlords we could target, get manpower and equipment off of. The list of targets is on the top there." He said to her, to which she nodded in response. Horsiga then left while Lily looked at the list. The List showed the top ten potential sources of recruits from the top strongest warlords, which Lily was very interested in.

Gromgor Grimhide - Black Zero Command

Lily found herself drawn to targeting Gromgor, almost like magic was guiding her towards that decision. However, she and her generals knew that getting to him would be difficult.

In the weeks followed, her little resistance force took over a number of small PFs and militia outfits. Then afterwards, she managed to seize a small island where a minor Orc warlord had established himself and gained control of his forces.

Suddenly, to many powers, she became a potential threat. Her forces had multiplied in just a matter of weeks and could now travel anywhere in the world, thanks to the small navy she managed to gain. Some wizards, who thought she had gone out of line, made efforts to capture her without success. Other wizards either joined her resistance army or donated whatever they could to her cause in solidarity with her and her beliefs. Lily's series of victories were very fast and, because of her red hair as well as the lightning victories, her resistance army became known as Red Lightning.

Gromgor looked at these developments with what could only be described as amusement. He had his own secret allies in the wizarding world and an unknown benefactor somewhere in the world. The Red Lightning would, in his mind, go the way of many other guerrilla groups who had tried to seize territory throughout history and failed.

Gromgor picked up a phone and gave an unknown person a call, "It's me. I want to know if the delivery is ready?..."
