On Halloween, a few hours later that night, Ron and Hermione returned from their trip to Hogsmeade with the other third years and told Devon and Harry about their trip as they ascend up the stairs of the Grand Staircase to head back to the Gryffindor Common Room.

"Honeydukes Sweet Shop is brilliant. But nothing beats Zonko's Joke Shop. We never did get a chance to go to The Shrieking Shack, though." Ron says

"The Shrieking Shack?" Devon asks

"Creepy place, it is. It's..." Ron says

"The most haunted building in Britain." Harry says

The Keyblade Wielder, the Wizarding Trio, and their fellow Gryffindors rode the changing staircase on the seventh floor, ready to head up to the Gryffindor Common Room, when they saw a small crowd forming at the top of the stairs where the Fat Lady's portrait was.

"What's going on?" Harry asks

"Huh, probably Neville's forgotten the password again." Ron mutters

"Hey!" Neville says

Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione glanced back and they saw Neville standing behind them.

"Oh! You're there." Ron says

Looking back up the stairs, the group notice the Head Boy of Gryffindor, Percy Weasley, as he makes his way through the crowd of students down the stairs from the eighth floor.

"Uh, let me through, please. Excuse me! I'm Head Boy!" Percy says

Percy gazes at the portrait for a moment before ordering everyone to stay away.

"Get back... all of you. No one is to enter this dormitory until it has been fully searched." Percy says

Ginny, who was at the front of the crowd, looks back and saw Devon and the Wizarding Trio on the stairs. Weaving through the crowd, she makes her way down to them.

"Ginny? What is it?" Devon asks

"The Fat Lady! She's gone!" Ginny exclaims

"What?!" Devon exclaims in a surprised voice

Devon, Harry, Ron, and Hermione make their way to the front and they saw a shocking sight. The portrait had been attacked with four cuts, two large and two small ones, all slanting down to the right across the painting. The Fat Lady was nowhere in sight. Something big and tall slashed at the portrait, probably to gain entry by force. The question is: Where was the Fat Lady, what could've attacked her, and why?

"Serves her right. She was a terrible singer." Ron says

"That's not funny, Ron." Hermione says

"Keep calm. everyone. Ravenclaws, back to your common room." Percy says

All the individuals in the paintings on the walls surrounding the Fat Lady's portrait stared and pointed upon the scene with expressions of distress, shock, fear, and sadness. Animals in the paintings such as a caged monkey, an elephant, and a tiger screeched, trumpeted, and roared. Their voices and sounds echoed throughout the Grand Staircase.

To the right of the Fat Lady's ruined portrait, a staring eyeball painting stared at the scene, as did a black-robed witch on a flying broomstick, a green-robed wizard with a broomstick in his right-hand, a bald wizard in pale blue robes, a group of journeying wizards, three wailing North African Egyptian women, and two lovers in a graveyard, who quickly went over from their painting to the nearby portrait on the left of three young ladies and covered their eyes.

To the left, a group of renaissance scholars with a hanging skeleton groaned and cried at the horror, while below them another portrait of a mother cradled her crying baby as they looked away.

Devon looked around at all the paintings, seeing their distress before facing the Fat Lady's portrait again. From what he saw, it seemed as though an animal or some kind of monster had attacked the portrait, but what?

"What happened to her?" Devon asks

Soon, Headmaster Dumbledore arrives on the scene with Mr. Filch, who held Mrs. Norris in his right-arm and a lantern in his left-hand, making their way up the stairs and through the crowd.

"Make way!" Filch says

"The Headmaster's here!" Percy says

"Come on. Move! Move!" Filch says

"You heard! Move!" Percy says

Upon reaching the top of the stairs, Dumbledore approaches the slashed portrait while Mr. Filch looks around at the other paintings. The Headmaster inspects the scratch marks, running his right-hand along the largest one at the top, then turns to the School Caretaker.

"Mr. Filch? Round up the ghosts. Tell them to search every painting in the castle to find the Fat Lady." Dumbledore says

"There's no need for ghosts, Professor. The Fat Lady is there." Filch says pointing up with his left-index finger

Everyone followed Filch's gaze toward a painting further up on the stairs and they all rushed up to the spot.

"Hey! Mind where you're going! Slow down! You listen! I'm Head Boy!" Percy shouts

"Keep moving!" Dumbledore says

"Make way. Make way! Go, go, go!" Filch says

Soon, they find the Fat Lady hiding away inside the portrait, which showed an African savannah with a giraffe walking by and a herd of hippopotamus grazing off the grass.

"Dear Lady, who did this to you?" Dumbledore asks

The Fat Lady peeks her head up over the right-side of the hippo, whimpering in fear.

"Eyes like the devil, he's got. And a soul as dark as his name. It's him, Headmaster. The one they all talk about. He's here, somewhere in the castle! Sirius Black!" The Fat Lady whimpers

Whimpering and sobbing, the Fat Lady goes back into hiding behind the hippopotamus while Dumbledore turns to Filch on his right.

"Secure the castle, Mr. Filch." Dumbledore says

Then, the Headmaster turns and addresses all the students.

"The rest of you, to the Great Hall." Dumbledore says

While everyone scrambled to make their way down to the Great Hall, Devon and Harry stared at the painting that the Fat Lady was hiding in, shocked and surprised by what they heard. Sirius Black had finally made his way into Hogwarts.

As everyone got together in the Great Hall, Hogwarts was put under immediate lockdown. Metal bar gates lowered down over the entrances with the rattling, clicking sounds of chains, the doors closed shut, and several additional bar locks extended out from the doors and turned clockwise, sealing the entrances even more.

Outside, the Dementors glided through the night sky over the Black Lake near the castle, watching as all the lights went out one by one.

Inside the school, the Great Hall was now a large, wide bare room, cleared of tables. All of the students slept together with their own blanket while Dumbledore kept watch. Mr. Filch, Professor Snape, and Flitwick entered the large hall and relayed their findings to the Headmaster, having finished their search of the castle for Sirius Black.

"I've searched the Astronomy Tower and the Owlery, sir. But there's nothing there." Filch says

"Ah, thank you." Dumbledore sighs

"The third floor's clear, too, sir." Flitwick says

"Very good." Dumbledore says

"I've done my sweep of the dungeons, Headmaster. No sign of Black, nor anywhere else in the castle." Snape says

"I didn't really expect him to linger." Dumbledore says

Dumbledore and Snape proceed to walk together down the center of the hall while Mr. Filch and Professor Flitwick walk around the sleeping students, making sure they were asleep.

"Remarkable feat, don't you think? To enter Hogwarts Castle on one's own, completely undetected." Snape says

"Quite remarkable, yes." Dumbledore says

"Any theories on how he might have managed it?" Snape asks

"Many. Each as unlikely as the next." Dumbledore says

"You may recall, prior to the start of term, I did express concerns about your appointment of Lupin..." Snape says

"Not a single professor inside this castle would help Sirius Black to enter it. No. I'm quite convinced the castle is safe. And I'm more than willing to send the students back to their houses." Dumbledore says

"What about Potter and the Keyblade Wielder? Should they be warned?" Snape asks

Dumbledore looked over at Devon and Harry on his right as they were together with their backs toward him. Unlike the other students, the two boys were actually awake, listening to the whole conversation.

"Perhaps. But for now, let them sleep. For in dreams, we enter a world that's entirely our own. Let them swim in the deepest ocean, or glide over the highest cloud." Dumbledore says

Overhead, the enchanted ceiling of the Great Hall took the appearance of a beautiful starry night with the Milky Way Galaxy, the Pinwheel Spiral Galaxy, and a shooting star, which streaks across the heavenly sky, giving a sense of calm to the night.

The days went by and nobody talks about anything, except Sirius Black. After the attack, the Fat Lady refused to resume her post as guardian for the Gryffindor Common Room, so she was replaced by Sir Cadogan, the Mad Knight, who was an eccentric, clumsy knight from the Wizarding World's version of King Arthur. He was a bit of an annoyance with Devon and the Gryffindors since he kept making up ridiculously complicated passwords and changing them twice a day, but there was nothing they could do since none of the other portraits wanted the job.

Outside on the grounds, winter was coming and the holidays were not far off. The leaves on the Whomping Willow start to fall one by one until one day they all fall off its branches, causing the gigantic tree to shiver from the increasing cold.

On November 5th, Professor Lupin came down with a sudden illness and Professor Snape temporarily substituted for him as teacher for Defense Against the Dark Arts. He entered Classroom 3C with his black wand in his right-hand and closed the door behind him, then he waved his wand at the three windows, magically pulling the shutters closed and slamming them shut as he walked down the center aisle and made his way to the back of the classroom. Reaching the back of the room, Snape pulls down a white projector screen and turns left to face the students.

"Turn to page 394." Snape says

Everyone opened up their books, following Snape's instructions as he slowly walked back towards the front of the room. Devon and Harry sat next each other in the center of the room while Ron sat with Bem on their left.

"What happened to Lupin?" Devon asks leaning his head left towards Harry

Wondering why Professor Lupin wasn't teaching the class today, Harry calls for Snape.

"Excuse me, sir. Where's Professor Lupin?" Harry asks

Snape stops and looks down at the two boys with his usual stern expression.

"Just curious, Professor." Devon says holding up his open hands in in defense

"That's none of your concern, is it? Suffice to say that your professor finds himself incapable of teaching at the present time." Snape says

After saying that, Snape continues to the front of the room while Devon and Harry both look at each other.

"Maybe he's sick?" Devon says shrugging his shoulders

"Turn to page 394." Snape says

Reaching the front of the classroom, Snape taps his wand on a projector on his left, turning it on. The images that the projector showed was a sketch of a Werewolf-like variant of the Vitruvian Man by Leonardo da Vinci, a cave painting, which showed three black humanoid figures, two of them humans armed with primitive spears on the right, and a monstrous Werewolf on their left, an ancient hieroglyph of a Egyptian man with a dagger in his right-hand and a humanoid Werewolf attacking him, an orange vase from Ancient Greece with black background and an orange picture of a Werewolf devouring a man and a spartan warrior running from it, a picture from India showing a four-armed Werewolf, and a picture of a Werewolf standing all fours on a rock and stalking a mother and her small boy.

Snape looks over at Ron's table and saw that he was turning his pages slowly. Annoyed, he waves his wand towards him and the pages in his book instantly flip over to the designated page, causing Ron to jump slightly. Ron looks down at the labeled page and read its topic.

"Werewolves?" Ron reads feeling confused

And just as she did in Professor Trelawney's class in Divination and Professor Lupin's class with the Boggart, Hermione appears in the room sitting next to Devon on his right and looking back at Professor Snape.

"But, sir, we've just begun learning about Red Caps and Hinkypunks. We're not meant to start nocturnal beasts for weeks." Hermione says

"Quiet." Snape says

"When did she come in? Did you see her come in?" Ron asks looking over at Devon and Harry on his right

Snape walks in the center aisle of the room.

"Now... which one of you can tell me the difference between an Animagus and a Werewolf?" Snape asks

Hermione raises her right-hand to answer, but Snape didn't see behind his back. The sour-faced teacher turns around to his left and faces the students.

"No one? How disappointing." Snape says

"Please, sir. An Animagus is a wizard who elects to turn into an animal. A Werewolf has no choice. With each full moon, when he transforms, he no longer remembers who he is. He'd kill his best friend if he crossed his path. Furthermore, the Werewolf only responds to the call of its own kind." Hermione says

"Awoo!" Malfoy howls

Malfoy, Crabbe, and his gang chuckled; however, Snape didn't find his disruption amusing as he looked his way.

"Thank you, Mr. Malfoy." Snape says

The sour-puss teacher shifts his gaze back over to Hermione.

"That's the second time you've spoken out of turn, Miss Granger. Are you incapable of restraining yourself, or do you take pride in being an insufferable know-it-all?" Snape says

"He's got a point, you know." Ron mutters

"Five points from Gryffindor." Snape says

Harry, Ron. and the other Gryffindors groaned. As Snape walked around the tables, Malfoy made a small paper bird and blows it off his hands. The paper-made bird flaps its wings and flies over to Harry, who catches it in his hands.

"As an antidote for your ignorance, and on my desk by Monday morning, two rolls of parchment on the Werewolf with particular emphasis on recognizing it." Snape says

All the students groaned.

"Sir, it's Quidditch tomorrow." Harry says

Snape goes over to Harry's table and places his hands on it, leaning close to the wizard boy.

"Then, I suggest you take extra care, Mr. Potter. Loss of limb will not excuse you. Page 394." Snape says in a low voice

After saying that, the sour-faced teacher proceeded with his lesson on Werewolves.

"The term 'Werewolf' is a contraction of the Anglo-Saxon word 'were,' which means 'man,' and 'wolf.' 'Werewolf.' Man-wolf. There are several ways to become a Werewolf. They include the power of shape-shifting, being bitten by a Werewolf, and being born to a family of Werewolves." Snape says

While Snape continues with his lesson, Harry looks back at Malfoy over his right-shoulder, then looks down at the parchment in his hands. It was a moving sketch of a stupid-looking Harry Potter flying on a broomstick during Quidditch being struck in the back of the head by the Quaffle, thrown by a Chaser on the opposing team who laughed with the words: Ha Ha Ha Ha! After that, the stupid-looking Harry got angry with his arms stretched out, his hair spiking out in all directions, and thunderbolts over his head. Harry knew that this was just Malfoy trying to get on his nerves, but it wouldn't work.

The next day of the Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff was already underway. Originally, Harry and his team were supposed play off against Slytherin. But due to Malfoy's injuries from the incident with Buckbeak, the match was changed to play against Hufflepuff.

A downpour of rain, ferocious wind, thunder, and lightning fell over the Quidditch pitch. The sound of the thunder drowned out the shouts of the crowd. Gryffindor was already in the lead by at least 50 points. All of the players wore their goggles to help see through the constant raindrops. Most of the crowd cheered for Gryffindor, including Hermione as she, Ron, and Devon watched Harry fly past them.

"Whoo-hoo! Go, Harry!" Hermione cheers

Devon kept a very close watch on Harry as he watched the game in the stands with his friends. There was a lot of dangers present: The lightning strikes, the heavy rain, the violent winds, not to mention the Dementors that were close by. If the incidents from the past two years at Hogwarts were of any indication, he knew that anything could happen.

From the nearby edge of the Forbidden Forest, Alura LightHeart and her Unicorn sisters, Stella, Valoria, Evelyn, Brianna, Leila, and Sylvia also watched the Quidditch match. However, they were also keeping their eyes on the Dementors that hovered around the outside of the grounds. And like Devon, they couldn't help but feel something bad was about to happen.

On the pitch, Harry and Hufflepuff's Seeker, Cedric Diggory, were both chasing the Golden Snitch. A lightning bolt strikes the tallest scoring hoops on the pitch and it bounces off, striking the back of Angelina's broomstick and setting it ablaze. She screamed as her broomstick flew out of control, spinning towards Harry. The wizard boy quickly flew to the right and dodged Angelina as she crashes onto the muddy pitch, but then he started to ascend up into the grey clouds, flying past a spectator tower where Dumbledore, McGonagall, and the other teachers sat as he chased the Golden Snitch.

Devon watched as Harry disappeared into the stormy sky and his face turned to horror when he saw dozens of Dementors flying up into the clouds as well. Now Harry was definitely in danger. While everyone was busy watching the game, Devon weaves his way to the top of the stands. From there, he jumps high up to the top of the nearby spectator tower on his right using Flowmotion. Grabbing hold of the flagpole with his left-hand, Devon summons his Keyblade: Soul Calibur into his right-hand and raises it up to the sky, using a spell he studied and learned himself from a Charms spell book, a spell he knew would most definitely come in handy.

"Accio Nimbus!" Devon chants

After saying the incantation, the Keyblade Wielder jumps off from the tower and lands on his Nimbus 2000, which came flying in faster than the speed of light. He then zooms off from the Quidditch pitch, ascending up into the storm.

High above the clouds, Harry catches up with Cedric Diggory, who had his left-hand stretched out towards the Snitch, ready to catch it. Suddenly, a lightning bolt strikes the golden metal ball and surges through Cedric's hand, which was in close proximity. The Hufflepuff Seeker is electrocuted by the strong electricity with electric sparks going through his short, wet hair and he falls backwards towards the ground on his broomstick.

Harry quickly shifts to the right, dodging Cedric and watching as he falls back down toward the pitch. Looking back up, he saw something huge right infront of him and stared with widened eyes. It was a dark grey cloud shaped like the Grim, illuminated by the lightning flashes from the clouds behind it. The shape lingered for about five seconds before it disappears within the rest of the clouds.

The Golden Snitch soon flies close into Harry's view, snapping him back into reality. He tries to grab the small ball with his right-hand, but it quickly darts and flies away to the right. Harry turns his broomstick and chases after it. As he does, ice began to form on the handle of his broom, crackling it's way down from the tip. Ice also formed on Harry's goggles, blinding his vision even more. The wizard boy continued chasing the Golden Snitch higher into the clouds when he felt like he was being followed. Slowly looking back on his left, he saw a Dementor trailing after him. Knowing now that he was in trouble, Harry picks up his speed to escape the dark creature.

Elsewhere in the clouds, Devon flew on his Nimbus 2000 trying to find Harry within the storm.

"Harry! Harry!" Devon calls

As he looked around, Devon felt the sudden chill in the air. He looked down at his broomstick and saw ice forming on the handle. This could only mean one thing: The Dementors were closing in on him too. Devon looked around, wondering where the dark creatures might come from to attack him. He soon glanced up and saw a Dementor heading straight for him. Instinctively, Devon dives down and dodges the hooded soul-sucker as it shrieks past him. Rising back up, Devon glanced back on his right and saw the Dementor coming back around with three more flying up behind it.

"Oh, crud!" Devon exclaims

Turning around, Devon zooms off and heads higher up into the clouds while the four Dementors pursued him. Two more of the hooded creatures fly up infront of Devon to block his path, but he shifts left and right, zooming past them. Another Dementor appears from the clouds and flies towards Devon with its scabby hands stretched out to grab him. Reacting quickly, the young teen holds Soul Calibur horizontally infront of him and casts a Reflaga spell, generating a spherical barrier of light around him. The Dementor smashes into the barrier and on impact it disperses, creating splashes of light that knocks the dark creature away.

Earning himself a moment of respite, Devon looked around to see if he can find Harry in the storm. He soon looked up and saw him being chased by two Dementors. He then looks back on his left to see the six Dementors approaching him from behind. Devon takes off and flies higher into the storm to catch up with Harry while his group of Dementors chase after him. A bolt of lightning streaks down infront of the Keyblade Wielder's path, nearly hitting him.

"Whoa!" Devon exclaims

Devon zips around to the left and dodges the lightning bolt as he continues flying. Another streak of lightning shoots down from the right, but this time Devon flies down and to the right. Leaning more forward on his broomstick, Devon increases his speed as he started to close in on Harry and his Dementors.

On Harry's side, he was still trying to get away from the Dementor behind him when a second Dementor flies up infront of him. He shifts to the right and flies higher up into the sky, then descends back down, shifting left and right as he evades the hooded creatures. A third Dementor flies toward Harry infront of his path. But before it could reach him, Devon flies in with his whole body and his broomstick encased in another spherical barrier of light and he smashes into the Dementor, knocking it out of the way.

"Devon!" Harry exclaims

"Harry! Come on! We gotta get out of here!" Devon shouts

But before they could fly, the two boys soon found themselves completely surrounded by at least a hundred Dementors. Eventually, two of them flew up to Devon and Harry and attempted to suck their souls with their large, gaping mouths and their rattling, distorted breaths. Distortions appeared on Devon and Harry's faces in the air like before on the Hogwarts Express, and they heard the screaming voices of their mothers.

"Harry!" Lily's voice screams

"Devon!" Shara's voice screams

Devon and Harry both fainted and they fell off their broomsticks, spinning and falling hundreds of feet through the air.

Down below on the Quidditch pitch, the match between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff immediately comes to a stop as everyone gazes up at the grey clouds. Their faces turned to shock and horror when they saw Devon and Harry falling hundreds of feet from sky, their unconscious forms illuminate by the lightning. Shouts and screams from the crowds filled the pitch.

"Harry!" Ginny exclaims

Hermione covered her mouth and Ron stared in shock. At the edge of the Forbidden Forest, the seven Unicorns all gasped in horror as they watched the Keyblade Wielder and wizard boy plummeting through the air.

"Oh, no!" Evelyn exclaims

"Devon!" Alura exclaims

Dumbledore and the staff stood up from their seats in the spectator tower. Devon and Harry were only moments away from falling to their deaths as they descend into the pitch when Dumbledore stretched out his right-hand towards them, shouting an incantation of a spell.

"Aresto Momentum!" Dumbledore chants

Everything fades to black as the Quidditch match ended right there and then.

In the aftermath of the horror that took place on the Quidditch pitch, Devon and Harry were both immediately taken to the hospital wing, laying on two beds with Ron, Hermione, Fred, George, Neville, Seamus, and the other Gryffindors surrounding them. Slowly, the two boys started to wake up as they heard the voices of their friends.

"They look a bit peaky, don't they?" Ron asks

"Peaky?" Fred asks

"What do you expect?" George says

"They fell over 100 feet." Fred says

"Yeah, come on, Ron, let's walk you off the Astronomy Tower..." George says

"And see what you look like." Fred says

"Probably a right sight better than he normally does." Harry says

Harry rose and sat upright as did Devon.

"Mmm... Uhh..." Devon groans

"Devon, Harry, how are you two feeling?" Hermione asks concerned

"Oh, brilliant." Harry says

"Yeah. Never better." Devon groans

"You both gave us a right good scare, mates." George says

"What happened?" Harry asks

"Well, you and Devon fell off your brooms." Ron says

"Really? I meant the match. Who won?" Harry asks

"Um... No one blames you, Harry. The Dementors weren't supposed to come onto the grounds. Dumbledore was furious. Soon as he saved you and Devon, he sent them straight off." Hermione says

"There's something else you should know, too, guys. When you both fell, your broomsticks, they-they sort of flew into the Whomping Willow and... well, they're, uh..." Ron says

Ron had Devon and Harry's Nimbus 2000 broomsticks wrapped in a bundle of red cloth and he held up the broken handle of Harry's broom, showing it to him.

"Ohh... That sucks." Devon says

The following week, Professor Lupin was back to teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts, and he told his students that they didn't have to write the essay that Snape assigned them since he was a much nicer, friendlier teacher than him, although Hermione finished hers. One day, Lupin took a walk with Devon and Harry along the edge of the Forbidden Forest near the Black Lake, having heard about what happened on the Quidditch pitch.

"I'm sorry to hear about your broomsticks, boys. Is there no chance of fixing them?" Lupin asks

"No." Harry says

"Eh, it's alright. I don't really use it much anyway. I probably would've sold it or traded it, either way. Besides, I'm a dragon rider. I've got my own ride." Devon says

"Well, that's certainly very interesting. I never knew you could ride dragons, Devon. Must be quite a thrill." Lupin says

"Oh, yeah. Definitely. Just like riding on a broomstick, only one that has wings, scales, and breathes fire." Devon says

Devon, Harry, and Lupin chuckled.

"Professor, why do the Dementors affect me and Devon so? I mean, more than everyone else?" Harry asks

"I've been wondering that myself. The Dementors could go after anyone else, yet they choose us. Why is that?" Devon asks

"Listen, the Dementors are amongst the foulest creatures to walk this earth. They feed on every good feeling, every happy memory, until a person is left with absolutely nothing but his worst experiences. You are not weak, boys. The Dementors affect you most of all because there are true horrors in your pasts. Horrors your friends and classmates can scarcely imagine. You have nothing to be ashamed of." Lupin says

"I'm scared, Professor." Harry says

"Well, I'd consider you a fool if you weren't." Lupin says

"We need to know how to fight them." Harry says

"Right. Lupin, we were thinking maybe you can teach us. After all, you drove off the one on the train that night on the Hogwarts Express." Devon says

"There was only one that night." Lupin says

"But you made it go away." Harry says

The trio soon stopped and turned to the Black Lake, gazing out at its seemingly calm waters as the sunlight reflected off its surface.

"Well, I don't pretend to be an expert, boys, but as the Dementors seem to have developed a particular interest in you two, perhaps I should teach you." Lupin says

"Right. We can't expect you to come saving us from the Dementors at every turn, can you?" Devon says

Devon, Harry, and Lupin chuckled.

"I suppose not. But after the holidays. For now, I need to rest." Lupin says

The Keyblade Wielder, wizard boy, and teacher stood together and watched as Hedwig flies off into the distance, going on with her flight.

Later that same day, Devon and Harry met up with Alura and her Unicorn sisters and paid them a visit in the Mystical Glade, knowing how worried they were about them. The two boys sat on a log near the stream while Alura, Stella, Valoria, and Evelyn laid down next to them on their left and Brianna, Leila, and Sylvia on their right.

"You boys really gave us all quite the heart attacks that day on the Quidditch pitch, you know that? We were, oh, so worried about you." Alura says

"Falling hundreds of feet in the air with no broomstick. We really thought you two were goners." Evelyn says

Devon stroked Alura's neck with his right-hand, giving her comfort as his fingers ran along her smooth light blue mane.

"Well, we're alright now. Dumbledore sent away the Dementors, so they shouldn't bother us anymore, for now, at least." Devon says

"I hope that Lupin has a plan for teaching you how to defend yourselves against the Dementors. I'm not sure how much more stress of these incidents we can take." Alura says

"Don't worry. He does. Lupin said he's going to give me and Harry a private lesson after the holidays, once he's feeling much better." Devon says

"That's a good relief to hear. Given how the Dementors are attracted to you two so much based on your pasts, it's only right that Remus should teach you the spell to use against them." Stella says

"You guys will do great! We believe in you!" Leila says

"Yeah we do! Once you learn the spell that Lupin will teach you, those soul-sucking fiends won't stand a chance! You boys will be unstoppable!" Brianna says

Devon and Harry looked at the Unicorns at their sides, then they shared glances with each other. Both of them had smiles and determined looks on their faces.

Weeks later, winter had finally come as the land and Hogwarts became covered with thick white snow. At the castle, on the last weekend before the holidays, Devon and Harry, who were both now wearing winter outfits, stood together in the clock tower, observing their fellow third year students through the glass window as they went on their second trip to Hogsmeade with Mr. Filch supervising them.

"Last call for Hogsmeade! Come on, now! Hogwarts or Hogsmeade! Make up your bloody minds!" Filch says

"Well, looks like they're heading to Hogsmeade again." Devon says

Watching them, Harry decided that he wasn't going to miss his opportunity to visit Hogsmeade, permission slip or not. He had an idea on to get to the village without being seen.

"Come on. I know how we can get to Hogsmeade." Harry says

Devon walked through the Clock Tower Courtyard with Harry hiding underneath his Invisibility Cloak. Up ahead on the right corner was Fred and George, who had just finished building a snowman. The Keyblade Wielder waves his right-hand to them as he passes by.

"Hey, Fred! Hey, George!" Devon greets

The Weasley Brothers were about to greet Devon when they noticed another set of invisible footprints walking alongside him. They could only figure that it was Harry. Fred and George sneak up on Harry and grab him by his arms under his Invisibility Cloak, dragging him away. Devon turned around as he saw what was happening and followed them.

"Guys, let me go!" Harry says

"Oh, clever, Harry." George says

"But not clever enough." Fred says

"Besides, we've got a better way." George says

"Guys, come on! We're trying to get to Hogsmeade!" Harry says

"We know." Fred and George say in unison

"Don't worry." Fred says

"We'll get you and Devon there." George says

"We'll show you both a quicker way." Fred says

"If you pipe down." George says

"Okay?" Devon says

"Aw, bless them." George says

"Let me go! Come on, guys. Don't..." Harry says

The Weasley Twins lead Devon and Harry into an enclosed wooden staircase and let go of Harry.

"Now, Harry, Devon." George says

"Come and join the big boys." Fred and George say in unison

Once they were hidden, Fred takes off Harry's Invisibility Cloak.

"What are you doing?" Harry asks

"Shh!" Fred says

Fred takes out a large, blank, much-folded paper with several folded flaps, at least 16, within it and gives it to Harry, who holds it in his right-hand.

"What's this rubbish?" Harry asks

"Heh. What's this rubbish, he says. That there is the secret to our success. This little beauty's taught us more than all the teacher's in this school." Fred says looking right at his brother before pointing down at the parchment with his left-hand

"It's a wrench giving it to you two, believe me." George says

"But, we've decided, your need is greater than ours." Fred says

"But this just looks like a blank piece of parchment." Devon says

"Oh, really? George, if you will." Fred says

George takes out his brown wand and holds it up as he recites some words.

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." George says

Tapping his wand on the parchment, some names and words began to fade in and appear on the front, two folded halves of the paper, much to Devon and Harry's amazement.

"Messieurs, Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs are proud to present The Marauder's Map." Harry reads

"We owe them so much." George says

"So, this is a map?" Devon asks

Harry opens up the map and both he and Devon gaze down at it with much interest. The map showed the entire layout of Hogwarts and the grounds, including its corridors, classrooms, offices, common rooms, etc., though they were displayed on the other different folded parts of the map.

"Hang on. This is Hogwarts." Harry says

The two boys looked on one specific part of the map and they saw something very interesting.

"And that... No. Is that really..." Harry asks

"Dumbledore." Fred says

"In his study." George says

"Pacing." Fred says

"He does that a lot." George says

Where they were looking, Devon and Harry saw moving black footsteps, which showed Dumbledore's exact location in the Headmaster's Office on the map with a small banner next to the footsteps that displayed his name.

"So, you mean this map shows..." Devon says

"Everyone." George says

"Everyone?" Devon and Harry say in unison

"Everyone." George says

"Where they are." Fred says

"What they're doing." George says

"Every minute." Fred says

"Of every day." George says

"Brilliant!" Harry says

"I'll say! It's real-time GPS map of people." Devon says

The Keyblade Wielder and wizard boy looks up at the Weasley Brothers.

"Where'd you two get this?" Devon asks

"Nicked it from Filch's office, of course. First year." Fred says

"Can't imagine that must've been easy." Devon says

"Now, listen. There are seven secret passageways out of the castle. We'd recommend..." George says

The Weasley Brothers pointed down on a specific position of the map with their hands.

"This one." Fred and George say in unison

"The One-Eyed Witch passageway. It'll lead you straight to Honeydukes Cellar." George says

"But you best hurry. Filch is heading this way." Fred says pointing at the map with his right-hand

"Right. Wouldn't want this to fall back into his confiscated goods." Devon says

"Oh, and boys, don't forget. When you're done, just give it a tap and say..." George says

George taps his wand on the map again as he and his brother recited the words to deactivate the magical map.

"Mischief managed. Otherwise, anyone can read it." Fred and George say in unison

Devon and Harry watched as the footprints and layout of the map faded away until the parchment was completely blank.

Using the One-Eyed Witch passageway that Fred and George showed them on the Marauder's Map, Devon and Harry snuck their way from Hogwarts into Honeydukes Sweet Shop, arriving in the cellar underneath the establishment, peeking their heads out from under a concrete block in the floor. They saw a working wizard walking up a wooden staircase with two boxes of sweets in his hands. Once he was gone, they emerge from the secret passage and approach the stairs. There were four boxes on the third and fourth step, two closed on the bottom and two open at the top with clear-wrapped colorful lollipops inside. Devon moved the two open boxes onto the floor at the bottom of the stairs so they wouldn't knock them over on their way up.

"Alright. Let's go. Cloak." Devon says

"Right." Harry says

Devon and Harry hid underneath the Invisibility Cloak and ascend up the stairs and into the shop.

Coming up into the shop from the back door, Devon and Harry gazed around at the popular establishment.

Most of the interior of Honeydukes sweet shop was green with painted walls and shelves, except for the white ceiling and the black and white checkered marble floor. Around them were shelves upon shelves of the most succulent-looking sweets imaginable.

Creamy chunks of nougat, shimmering pink squares of coconut ice, fat, honey-colored toffees; hundreds of different kinds of chocolate in neat rows, including Chocolate Frogs; there was a large barrel of Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans, and orange bags of Queenbee Fizzing Whizzbees, the levitating sherbet balls that Ron mentioned. Along another wall were 'Special Effects' sweets: Drooble's Best Blowing Gum, which filled a room with bluebell-coloured bubbles that refused to pop for days, the strange, splintery Toothflossing Stringmints, tiny Fiery Black Pepper Imps that made you breathe fire for your friends, Ice Mice that made your teeth chatter and squeak, peppermint creams shaped like toads that hopped realistically in the stomach, fragile sugar-spun quills and exploding bonbons, all to name but a few of the many sweets in the shop.

Devon and Harry quietly made their way through the shop under their Invisibility Cloak, passing dozens of their fellow third years, who were in the shop enjoying themselves. They even slipped past Neville and Seamus, who were both sitting at the curved window by the door. Harry grabbed Neville's red lollipop out of his right-hand as he and Devon exited the shop while Neville watched with a baffled expression.

On the outskirts of Hogsmeade, Ron and Hermione stood together at a barbed wire fence, gazing out at a large, two-story abandoned building, which stood out all alone with its windows and doors boarded up. Its name: The Shrieking Shack.

Ron was wearing a brown wool beanie with a long string on each side, a multi-colored plaid wool winter coat, grey pants and boots.

Hermione wore a wool red beanie on her head, a grey wool winter coat with red sweater underneath with six small yellow stripes on it, beige pants, and brown boots, carrying her beige strapped dark brown bag on her left-shoulder.

"It's meant to be the most haunted building in Britain. Did I mention that?" Hermione says

"Twice." Ron says

"Do you want to move a bit closer?" Hermione asks

"Huh?" Ron says

"To the Shrieking Shack." Hermione says

"Oh-Oh, actually, I'm... I'm fine here." Ron says

"Well, well, look who's here." A voice says

Ron and Hermione turned around and saw that the voice came from Malfoy, who's arm was now fully healed. With him was Crabbe on his right and Pike on his left.

Malfoy wore a grey fur musher hat, an open black winter overcoat that went down to the top of his upper thighs, a black turtleneck underneath, black gloves, pants, and boots.

Crabbe wore a dark brown winter hat with large ear flaps on each side, a black wool coat, black gloves, grey pants, and black boots.

And Pike wore a black beanie, a grey scarf with green and white stripes around his neck, winter jacket, gloves, pants, and boots.

"You two shopping for your new dream home? Bit grand for you, isn't it Weasley-Bee? Don't your family sleep in, uh, one room?" Malfoy teases

"Shut your mouth, Malfoy." Ron says

"Ooh, not very friendly. Boys, I think it's time we teach Weasley-Bee how to respect to his superiors." Malfoy says adjusting his coat like a businessman with both hands

Hermione chuckles defiantly and moves infront of Ron to defend him.

"Hope you don't mean yourself." Hermione says

"How dare you talk to me? You filthy little Mud-blood!" Malfoy says with an angry scowl

Suddenly, a snowball come out of nowhere and hits the left-side of Malfoy's neck. Ron and Hermione looked over to their right while Malfoy and his gang glanced over to their right, wondering who was responsible for throwing the snowball.

"Who's there?!" Malfoy asks

Four seconds of silence pass until another snowball flies in out of nowhere and hits Malfoy. Then another snowball hits him, and another, and another. Malfoy and his gang backed away and looked at each other confused.

"Don't just stand there! Do something!" Malfoy says turning to Crabbe on his left and pushing him with both hands

"What?!" Crabbe asks

Suddenly, Pike's beanie is pulled down over his eyes, and Crabbe's pants dropped down, revealing his grey, colorful dotted boxers. Crabbe bends his body down to pull his pants back up when he got kicked from behind by someone or something.

"Aah!" Crabbe screams

Hermione laughed and while Ron smiled. Pike's scarf was lifted up and he was pulled around, spinning in circles while he screamed until he fell on his back. Malfoy backed away and trips over Crabbe, falling backwards onto the snow. Both his feet were then lifted up and he was dragged along the snow towards the path between the wire fence that led to the Shrieking Shack while he screamed and flailed his arms.

"Ah! Aaah!" Malfoy screams

"What's up, Malfoy? Lost your skis?" Ron teases

The unseen force soon releases Malfoy's legs and the Slytherin boy quickly scrambled to his feet, panting in his panic. He reaches his gang members and pushes Crabbe, who still had his pants down, just as he was getting back up.

"Get out of the way!" Malfoy says

Then, he pushes Pike out of the way.

"Move!" Malfoy says

Both Crabbe and Pike got back up and they run to catch up with Malfoy.

"Malfoy! Wait! Wait!" Crabbe says

Hermione was laughing so hysterically she almost broke up into tears. The two strings on Ron's beanie suddenly jumped up and down while his eyes looked left and right at them. Then, a small bit of Hermione's hair started doing the same thing. Of course, she knew who was responsible.

"Harry!" Hermione says

Harry appears behind Ron and Hermione as he took off his Invisibility Cloak, laughing himself.

"Bloody hell, Harry. That was not funny." Ron says

Then, Devon jumps down from the nearby trees, landing infront of the Wizarding Trio with a big smile on his face. He was the one who made Crabbe's pants drop down and spun Pike around by his scarf using his telekinetic powers while sitting up in the trees. And Harry was the one who threw the snowballs at Malfoy, kicked Crabbe from behind, and dragged Malfoy towards the Shrieking Shack from underneath his Invisibility Cloak. The Keyblade Wielder walked over to his friends and placed his right-hand on Ron's left-shoulder.

"Oh, you're right, Ron. It wasn't funny... It was hilarious!" Devon laughs

Devon closed his eyes and smiled as he snickered, lowering his head and clapping his hands three times as he laughed hysterically with Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

Later on, Devon and Harry walked through the snowy streets of Hogsmeade, telling them about the Marauder's Map and how they arrived through Honeydukes.

"Those weasels. Never told me about any Marauder's Map." Ron says

"But Harry and Devon aren't going to keep it. They're going to turn it over to Professor McGonagall. Aren't you, boys?" Hermione says

"Oh, sure. Along with Harry's Invisibility Cloak." Ron says

The Keyblade Wielder and the Wizarding Trio looked up ahead and saw a woman hammering the signpost of her pub with a hammer in her right-hand. Her name: Madam Rosmerta.

Rosmerta was a 33 year old British woman and landlady who owned The Three Broomsticks pub in Hogsmeade. She was an attractive, curvy sort of woman with a pretty face having long, curly blonde hair, green eyes, and white skin, wearing a black jacket, pants, skirt, and high-heeled boots.

"Oh, look who it is. Madam Rosmerta. Ron fancies her." Hermione says

"That's not true!" Ron says

The quartet watched as Rosmerta tended to her pub when she received a visit from the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, who rode a horse-drawn sleigh, wearing a black fur hat, winter coat, pants, and boots, and Professor McGonagall as she came from up the street, wearing a grey pointed hat, black long robes and gloves.

"Professor McGonagall!" Fudge greets

"Cornelius!" McGonagall greets

Hagrid, who was also with McGonagall, offered to open the sleigh door for Fudge.

"Allow me, Minister." Hagrid says

The Half-giant grabs the door to the sleigh and rips it right out from its hinges, forgetting his strength.

"Oh, Hagrid." Fudge sighs

"Sorry about that." Hagrid apologizes

Stepping out of the sleigh, Fudge walks around to greet the pub's landlady.

"Rosemerta, my dear. I hope business is good." Fudge says

"It'd be a lot better if the Ministry wasn't sending Dementors into my pub every other night!" Rosmerta says waving her hammer at Minister and advancing on him

Fudge took a step back and his left-foot steps into horse droppings on the street.

"We... have... We have a killer on the loose." Fudge says sliding his boot clean

"Oh, Sirius Black in Hogsmeade! And what would bring him here?" Rosmerta asks

"Harry Potter." Fudge whispers

"Harry Potter?!" Rosmerta exclaims

"And the Keyblade Wielder." Fudge whispers

"What?! A Keyblade Wielder?! Where?! Here?!" Rosmerta exclaims

"Shh!" Fudge says

Fudge, McGonagall, and Rosmerta enter the Three Broomsticks, moving their conversation to some place more private. Ron and Hermione turn to look at Harry and Devon, but noticed that they were no longer with them. Looking ahead, they saw two sets of footprints heading up the street towards the pub.

"Harry! Devon!" Hermione says

Ron and Hermione rush to follow Devon and Harry into the Three Broomsticks, but stopped at the door as some shrunken heads, which were hanging near the pub's entrance, spoke to them.

"I say, no underage wizards allowed in today!" Shrunken head #1 says

"Shut the damn door!" Shrunken head #2 says

Knowing that they couldn't follow their two invisible friends, Ron and Hermione were forced to wait outside.

"So rude." Hermione says

"Thick heads." Ron mutters

"Thick heads?!" Shrunken head #1 says

"How dare they?! Who are they calling thick heads?" Shrunken head #2 says

"Young whippersnappers!" Shrunken head #3 says

Ron and Hermione shut the door to the pub and observe through the glass square window as Fudge, McGonagall, and Rosmerta ascend the wooden stairs in the back.

Underneath the Invisibility Cloak, Devon and Harry followed the Minister of Magic, the Transfiguration teacher, and the pub's landlady into a private parlor, hiding away in the side of the room to listen more on their conversation. Now in the warmth of the pub, Fudge, McGonagall, and Rosmerta took off their coats, leaving them with Fudge's black suit and blue tie, McGonagall's robes, and Rosmerta's dress.

"Nobody's going to come to a pub where they're going to get scared out of their twits. Why?" Rosmerta says

"Dumbledore does not want Dementors around the place, I can assure you." McGonagall says

Rosmerta shuts the door to the parlor and turns to McGonagall.

"Now, tell me what this is all about." Rosmerta says

"Well, now, years ago, when Harry Potter's parents realized they were marked for death, do you remember?" McGonagall says

"Yes." Rosmerta says nodding her head

"They went into hiding. Few knew where they were. One who did was Sirius Black. And he told You-Know-Who and another Dark Lord, one who was far more powerful than even him and was the ruling leader of an evil empire, Teridax." McGonagall says

"Teridax?!" Rosmerta exclaims

"Yes." McGonagall says

The Transfiguration teacher sat down on a beige plaid couch on the far left side as she explained more while Fudge walked around the back.

"From what Dumbledore knew and told me, he was an ancient, evil entity that had existed since the very beginning of time, even since before our world was created. Many dark wizards, including Salazar Slytherin, Gellert Grindelwald, and even You-Know-Who, were in alliance with this demonic titan." McGonagall says

"Indeed. Truly a terrifyingly, horrific monster he was. But not only did Black lead Teridax and You-Know-Who to the Potters that night, he also killed one of their friends, Peter Pettigrew!" Fudge says

"Peter? Peter Pettigrew?" Rosmerta asks

"Yes, little lump of a boy. Always trailing after Sirius Black." McGonagall says

"I remember him. Never let James and Sirius out of his sight. But what happened?" Rosmerta says

"Well, Peter Pettigrew tried to warn the Potters, and might have managed to, had he not run into an old friend, Sirius Black." McGonagall says

Fudge went over to the nearby shelf and grabbed a bottle of red wine, twisting off the cap and pouring himself and McGonagall a drink in two wine glasses.

"Black was vicious. He didn't kill Pettigrew. He destroyed him!" Fudge says

"Mmm-hmm." McGonagall says nodding her head in agreement

Setting down the bottle, Fudge turns around and held up his right pinkie-finger.

"One finger. That's all that was left, a finger! Nothing else." Fudge says

Fudge grabbed the filled cups and gave one to McGonagall as she stood up.

"Oh, yes. Sirius Black may not have put his hands to the Potters, but he's the reason they're dead." McGonagall says

"And now he wants to finish what he started. And, perhaps, add the Keyblade Wielder to his kill count." Fudge says

"I don't believe it." Rosmerta says

"That's not the worst of it." Fudge says

"No." McGonagall says

"What could be worse?" Rosmerta asks

McGonagall sits back down on the couch as she told Rosmerta one horrible truth.

"This. Sirius Black was, and remains to this day, Harry Potter's godfather." McGonagall says

Devon and Harry stared with widened eyes of disbelief. They could not believe what they just heard. Sirius Black, a wanted criminal from Azkaban Prison was Harry's godfather?

After listening to the whole conversation, the two boys immediately left the Three Broomsticks. Ron and Hermione were sitting on a wooden bench just outside the left of the pub when Hermione noticed only their footprints.

"Ron, look." Hermione says pointing with her right-hand

Devon slipped out of the Invisibility Cloak right infront of his two friends as Harry continued on without him.

"Devon! What happened?" Hermione asks

Before Devon could explain, he, Ron, and Hermione watched as Harry's footprints continued down the street, knocking over a small singing choir, interrupting their Christmas carol. The Keyblade Wielder and the young witch and wizard slip past the choir as they followed Harry.

"Excuse me. Pardon. Coming through." Devon says

"Sorry. Sorry. Excuse me. Sorry." Hermione says

"Merry Christmas." Ron says

Devon, Ron, and Hermione soon followed Harry's footsteps out of Hogsmeade and into a small patch of woods. They could hear his sobbing in the area. Looking down at the snow, they saw Harry's footsteps leading to a large rock on the left, where he must've been sitting. Devon and Hermione slowly make their way over to Harry and they kneel down to him. Hermione reaches out with her right-hand and grabs hold of the Invisibility Cloak, pulling it off slowly to reveal a crying Harry Potter.

"Harry, what happened?" Hermione asks

Harry took a deep breath before he answered Hermione.

"He was their friend... and he betrayed them." Harry sobs

Then, Harry's face turned to anger and rage as he looked up at his friends, shouting at the top of his lungs.

"He was their friend!" Harry shouts

The whole area fell silent as Devon, Ron, and Hermione stared at the devastated Harry.

"I hope he finds me. 'Cause when he does, I'm gonna be ready. When he does, I'm gonna kill him!" Harry says

Devon saw the fire in Harry's eyes, and he could tell now that the wizard boy was out for revenge. As he did, Devon remembered when he learned about the death of his parents in Narnia and how he promised to make Teridax, Lord Thanatos, and their followers pay for what they did to his family. Although he sympathized Harry for wanting to make Sirius Black pay for betraying his family, the Keyblade Wielder was afraid that this line of thinking might lead Harry down a darker path.

Author's Note: Terror spreads around Hogwarts as Sirius Black draws ever more closer to Harry Potter and his friends. Dementors attack Devon and Harry on the Quidditch pitch, then they discover the Marauder's Map, given to them by Fred and George, and now our heroes learn that Sirius Black is Harry's godfather, who betrayed the Potter Family to Lord Voldemort and Teridax, the Dark Lord of the Shadows. Up next: The Patronus Charm and Trelawney's Prediction. To anonymous(guest), I know I misspelled it, but I think I'd prefer Wrathius for the Dark Slayer's new name. Honestly, I think it sounds cooler that way. Don't you agree? Let me know what you guys. No flames please. Hope you guys like and don't forget to review!
