He stood infront of the mirror, his cold, blue eyes critically looking over himself. His fine blonde hair was cropped into proper military style. His cricketing whites had disappeared and in their place he was now clad solely in black. The Doctor and his aims for peace were long gone, and in its place now stood the dark side of his personality. He could see now why Tegan ran from him back in that warehouse and if he could, he would do the same.

He was no longer the Doctor. Now he was Supremo. The Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces.

Supremo had done what his enemies had attempted for centuries. Ironic really that he'd done it himself. The once gentle English cricketer was dead, and all his beliefs had died with him. Now he led battalions against the General. Against Morbius.

He commanded armies of Draconians, Ogrons, Ice Warriors, Humans, Sontarans and Cybermen. The remnants of his younger, naive self felt ashamed that he would ally himself with the latter two. Especially after what happened to Adric. Each time, Supremo harshly told the Doctor to shut up, and each time he reluctantly did so.

He committed acts that he would never have thought himself capable of. Even disregarding the fact he was now a warlord and commander of one of the largest armies this Universe had ever seen. All in the name of war. The Doctor was ashamed of him but unable to do anything about it. He was still yet to carry a gun on his person at anytime, a small consolation but nothing to counter the fact he sent people to war every day. To fight. To die. All in the name of Supremo. His name.

The Doctor was disgusted with him and everyday as he stood infront of the mirror the Doctor told him so. The only way he was able to placate the Doctor was with the hope that one day soon young Peri would be found and returned to him. But as the weeks and months very quickly became a year, both Supremo and the Doctor began to regard it as a false hope. Either she'd escaped the warzone completely, or...neither the Doctor nor Supremo wanted to dwell on that thought at all.

A wary knock brought Supremo out of his reveree. He paused for a moment to recollect his thoughts once more "Enter." He commanded and turned around to see a young Ogron guard enter, his eyes trailing on the ground. "What is it?" He demanded not unkindly." My Lord Supremo, Commander Aril is requesting an audience on behalf of the Sylvanan guerrilla leader." The Ogron said nervously.
"Who is he?" The Supreme Commander asked.
"She sir, the leader is a human female. Perpugilliam Brown she called herself." Supremo froze at the mention of Peri whilst inside the remnants of the Doctor did a double take before mentally shouting 'I knew it!' Supremo fought to regain the ability to speak. "Tell the commander that the audience is granted." He stated and moved his hand in a dismissal gesture.

It was only after he was sure that the guard was gone did he smile for the first time in almost a year.
