Three years. Three long years. This was how long the Clone Wars had endured in the Distant Galaxy since it began back on Geonosis with the battle of the same name. Many star systems in the Outer Rim Territories were suffering endless oppression from the Separatists and most of the Jedi Council was dispatched to combat the crisis, each with their own legions and battalions of clone troopers on their designated planets.

Among these grief-stricken worlds was the planet of Yerbana, a terrestrial world located in the Savareen sector of the Outer Rim Territories with a surface that had oceans, mountains lush with green vegetation and canyons. Cities connected to each other via bridges and were often nestled among permanent clouds atop flat mountains high above the surface.

On the planet's surface, clone troopers of the 501st Legion and 212th Attack Battalion were engaged in heavy combat against a Separatist blockade of B1-series battle droids, B2-series super battle droids, DSD1 dwarf spider droids, Octuptarra tri-droids, Armored Assault Tank Mk Is, and NR-N99 Persuader-class droid enforcers on a bridge leading into a Separatist occupied city. In the air, Clone Z-95 Headhunters and Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry gunships were engaged with the Separatists' Droid Tri-Fighters.

Clone Z-95 Headhunters were the Galactic Republic naval forces' primary multi-role starfighter designed specifically for the physical and mental capabilities of clone trooper pilots. Fast and agile, they were armed with Taim Bak manufactured KX5 laser cannons, proton torpedoes launchers armed with eight torpedoes, and close-ranged sensors.

Droid Tri-fighters were essentially droid starfighters used by the Separatists designed to engage and excel in heavy dogfighting, heavily armed with four laser canons, discord missiles, which were located on its bottom, nose-tip laser cannon at the front of the fighter near its photoreceptors, port sensors, and a payload of proton torpedoes, and concussion missiles. The Droid Tri-Fighters also possessed an advanced droid brain, which gave it an advantage when dealing with organic pilots.

Leading the 212th Attack Battalion on the bridge was Clone Marshal Commander CC-2224, otherwise known as Cody, who wore a modified set of Phase 2 clone trooper armor, which featured orange stripes used by many members under his command, a removable visor, an antenna on his shoulder pads with one on the back of his helmet, a small tool attached to his upper arm piece, and a small, oval-shaped jetpack. And with him was Clone Captain, Clone Commander, and Advanced Recon Commando CT-7567, also known as Rex. He wore a unique armor set with blue markings composed of phase 2 with phase 1 welded on, featuring a gray and blue pauldron over his left-shoulder and his phase 1 helmet visor.

Also on the bridge was Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, who now wore black Jedi robes and a black glove for his prosthetic right-hand, and his Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, who both stood up on a crashed LAAT gunship, deflecting blaster bolts with their lightsabers, while the clone troopers took cover behind them, providing cover fire. The battle wasn't going well in the Republic's favor. Cody and his forces suffered significant losses, including the loss of an All Terrain Tactical Enforcer, and they were being bombarded by a series of explosions fired by several DSD1 dwarf spider droids. Anakin and Obi-Wan diverted most of the explosives away using the Force through their extended left-hands, but some continued to rain down on the clone troopers. Cody and his troops opened fire with their DC-15A blaster rifles and carbines while Rex fired his dual DC-17 blaster pistols. And even with the two Jedi Generals, they struggled to advance through the droid forces, fighting them to a standstill.

"Well, things are going splendidly on this front." Obi-Wan says in a sarcastic voice

"Always the voice of optimism, eh, Master?" Anakin says

"Not funny, Anakin." Obi-Wan says

A large explosion hits the ground only a few feet behind Anakin, Obi-Wan, Rex, and Cody, killing several troopers and sending them flying and putting even more pressure on the situation.

"Sir! We're taking heavy losses! We can't hold this position much longer!" Cody shouts

"I'm with Cody on that, Master. We need to push toward the city. The more we linger on this bridge, the more innocent people suffer." Anakin says

"If you got any suggestions for getting us out of this, Anakin, I'm all ears!" Obi-Wan says

On the other side of the bridge, an OOM command battle droid observes the two Jedi and their clone troopers through a pair of Macrobinoculars with a few other battle droids on top a command platform behind a large metal wall, zooming in on them as they continue to hold their ground.

"We've got them on the ropes." OOM command battle droid says

"Heh. This is almost too easy." Battle Droid #1 says

"Yeah. There's no stopping us now." Battle Droid #2 says

Putting down the Macrobinoculars, the OOM battle droid glances back over his right-shoulder and gives out a command.

"Tank 4280, take aim at the Jedi." OOM command battle droid says

Hovering behind the command platform, an AAT battle tank adjusts its heavy cannon, rising it higher and taking aim at its target, which in this case, was Anakin, Obi-Wan, Rex, and Cody.

"Target acquired!" AAT droid gunner #1 says

"Blow them to pieces!" OOM command battle droid says

The AAT battle shoots an explosive missile through its heavy cannon and it flies through the air. Anakin, Obi-Wan, Rex, and Cody immediately noticed the projectile as it headed straight towards their position.

"Incoming!" Cody exclaims

The two Jedi and clone commanders braced themselves as the blazing projectile got closer and closer. But before it could reach them, a blue magic blast streaks through the air out of nowhere and collides with the missile, destroying it in a large explosion and saving the two Jedi and their clone commanders from obliteration, much to their surprise.

"What?" Anakin says

Then, a bright blue comet suddenly descends down from the sky and crashes onto the bridge in a brilliant explosion of light, causing both Republic and Separatist forces to cease fire. Anakin, Obi-Wan, Rex, Cody, and the clone troopers turn away and shield their eyes from the light with their arms, as does the battle droids. Soon, the light dims down and everyone looks ahead to see a huge cloud of grey smoke filling the center of the bridge.

"What in the name of...?" Obi-Wan says baffled

"Whoa. What the heck was that?" Battle Droid #1 asks

"Some kinda explosion." Battle Droid #2 says

"Good thing it missed us." Battle Droid #3 says

Gazing into the smoke, both sides could see a shadowy figure down on his left-knee with his head bent, his left-hand on the ground to catch himself, the other stretched out to his side for balance. Slowly, the figure rises up onto his feet and the smoke clears, revealing his identity. Anakin and Obi-Wan stared with astonished looks and widened eyes as they realized who it was standing before them. The clone troopers stared in surprise as well, but their expressions couldn't be seen through their helmets.

"Devon?!" Anakin exclaims

The Keyblade Wielder stood tall and proud on the bridge with a confident smile that rivaled Anakin's own confidence. Glancing back over his left-shoulder, Devon greets the two Jedi and the clone troopers behind him.

"What's up, guys? Looks like you're in a bind." Devon greets

Turning back to the droid blockade, Devon cracks his knuckles, ready to help deal with the Separatist forces.

"Don't worry. I'll be sure to add these droids to the junk pile." Devon says

Over by the blockade, the battle droids stared out at the young teen with confusion. Obviously, he was an ally of the Republic forces, which made him their enemy, but they didn't know if Devon was another Jedi or something else entirely. The OOM command battle droid examined the young teen through his Macrobinoculars, zooming in on him for a better look.

"Uh, commander? Who is that?" Battle Droid #1 asks

"Is he another Jedi?" Battle Droid #2 asks

"Err... I don't know. Notify the tactical droid." OOM command battle droid says

"Roger, roger." Battle droid #2 says nodding its head

The battle droid descends down the platform to fetch the officer in charge of the blockade while the two sides stand off. After a minute of waiting, an ST-series super tactical droid walks up to the blockade. He had masculine programming, a large, imposing armored body of red plating, and three round red eye sensors on its head, aligned in a triangular shape. On their side of the bridge, Anakin, Obi-Wan, Rex, Cody, and the clone troopers saw the tactical droid as it appeared high up on the central platform of the blockade behind the metal wall, as did Devon, who he assumed was the commanding officer of the battle droids.

"There's the tactical droid." Rex says

"So, he must be the leader." Devon says

Stepping up to the top of the blockade, the tactical droid spoke to the battle droids in a very robotic, monotone voice, demanding to know why the had ceased their attack.

"Why have you ceased fire?" The super tactical droid asks

"A new target has appeared on the bridge, sir. We believe it's another Jedi." OOM command battle droid says pointing out at Devon with his right-hand

The red droid gazes out at the young teen and right away he realizes in his programming just who he was.

"That's no Jedi..." The super tactical droid says

Devon stretches out his right-hand infront of him and closes his eyes in concentration as he summons his Keyblade. A blue light emits from his open palm and smaller lights gathered into it, causing it to grow brighter and brighter with each light absorbed. Within moments, Devon's eyes snap open with a brief flash of blue, and Soul Calibur appears in his hand with its bright, illuminating, dazzling, benevolent display. The young teen grips the black handle of his crystal Keyblade and swings it over to his right-side as he makes his stand.

Seeing that, the tactical droid froze in horror. He and other high-ranking droids in the Separatist forces had been programmed to recognize the Keyblade Wielder since the start of the Clone Wars and now here he was, standing on the bridge, ready to dish out some damage. Fearful for his life, the tactical droid immediately orders the others to attack him.

"It's the Keyblade Wielder! Open fire!" The super tactical droid exclaims

The OOM command battle droid nods his head and relays the order.

"All batteries take aim at the Keyblade Wielder." OOM command battle droid says

All the dozens of battle droids, super battle droids, dwarf spider droids, Octuptarra tri-droids, and AAT battle tanks aim their blasters and heavy cannons on Devon, while he stood completely calm with a fearless expression, unintimidated by all the thousands of droids and the weapons that were trained on him. The command battle droid raises his left-hand as he prepares to give the order to fire.

"Ready... Aim..." OOM command battle droid says

Devon's eyes narrowed, his left-hand grips into a fist, and the grip on his crystal Keyblade grew tighter. Soon, the signal was given as the command battle droid throws his metal hand forward.

"Fire!" OOM command battle droid says

All the droid forces opened fire, unleashing a barrage of blaster bolts and explosive artillery on the Keyblade Wielder's position, striking him hard and filling the air with the loud, deafening sounds of blaster fire and explosions. This went on for a good long 30 seconds until the droid commander ordered to stop.

"Cease fire." OOM command battle droid says stretching out his left-arm to his side

The droid forces stopped their firing and Devon's position was left covered in a thick cloud of black smoke with his fate uncertain. On their side, Anakin and Obi-Wan looked ahead with slight concern on their faces. At the blockade, the OOM command battle droid gazed out at the blast site with his Macrobinoculars, zooming in on the smoke cloud, but couldn't see anything.

"Did we get him?" Battle droid #1 asks

"I think so." Battle droid #2 says

After a full minute of waiting, the smoke finally clears, revealing Devon, completely unharmed, encased inside a spherical white-blue barrier of light having cast a Reflega spell with his glowing crystal Keyblade held infront of him above his head with just his right-hand. The barrier disperses and Devon lowers Soul Calibur back down to his side, smiling confidently, and giving his right-shoulder a small brush with his left-hand. Anakin and Obi-Wan both smiled when they saw their Keyblade Wielder friend alright. They knew that Devon would never go down that easily. On the Separatists side, the super tactical droid backed away in fear and disbelief, not believing what his three sensors saw.

"Impossible!" The super tactical droid exclaims

Devon narrowed his eyes and cast a glare at the droid blockade that looked like it pierced their processors.

"My turn." Devon says

Stretching his left-hand forward, Devon seizes the super tactical droid with the Force and pulls him from the command platform all the way across the bridge toward his position. The droid screamed in terror with his robotic, monotone voice as he flew closer and closer towards his doom while Devon pulls Soul Calibur back, preparing to strike. In less than three seconds, the super tactical droid reaches Devon and the Keyblade Wielder slices off its head with a left slash. The decapitated droid falls flat onto the bridge, skidding to a stop a few feet behind Devon, and its sensory eyes flicker and fade. After that, the Keyblade Wielder crouches down and leaps high up into the air, ascending at least a hundred of feet above the bridge. From there, Devon holds Soul Calibur infront of him with both hands, channeling the light within him and focusing it into a bright orb, which appeared on the tip of the crystal Keyblade. Targeting the Separatist droids below him, Devon pulls his crystal Keyblade back in his right-arm and thrusts it forward, launching a powerful blast of blue light and sending it down towards the blockade. All the droids gazed up at the light blast as it quickly descended toward them, straight for the OOM command battle droids and three others that stood alongside him.

"Uh-oh..." The battle droids say in unison

Within moments, the light blast strikes the command platform and detonates in a massive explosion, vaporizing dozens of battle droids, super battle droids, dwarf spider droids, Octuptarra tri-droids, and AAT battle tanks, leaving only a huge crater as evidence of their existence. The explosion also created a wide gap in the center of the metal wall. Devon lands crouched down on the bridge on his left-knee using his Keyblade hand to catch himself and rises back up. The battle droids fired their blasters at him to put up some resistance, but Devon deflects the red lasers away, holding Soul Calibur high and low and turning it over and under at different angles. Afterwards, Devon aims his crystal Keyblade and shoots a Firaga spell, launching a large fireball, which flies across the bridge and homes in on a group of B1 and B2 battle droids before exploding and blasting them to pieces. Next, he uses a Blizzaga spell, shooting a large blast of ice, which also homes in on the droid blockade and explodes in a cloud of frost, freezing several dwarf spider droids, Octuptarra tri-droids, and NR-N99 Persuader droid enforcers in ice until they break apart and shatter on the ground. Then, Devon raises his Soul Calibur above his head and casts a Thundaga spell, summoning a strong cluster of lightning bolts that strikes down on the droid forces and destroys more of their numbers. After that, the young teen pulls his left-hand back, clenching it into a fist, and thrusts it forward, launching a powerful, concussive telekinetic blast of pressurized air at the blockade, which completely blows away multitudes battle droids, sending them flying. Even a few dwarf spider droids, Octuptarra tri-droids, AAT battle tanks, and NR-N99 Persuader droid enforcers were blown away, taking dozens of battle droids with them.

Anakin and Obi-Wan both watched in awe as Devon decimated the droid blockade like an absolute beast with the Force and his magic powers. They could tell that he had grown significantly stronger since last they saw him prior to the beginning of the Clone Wars. Seizing their chance to push on the offensive, Anakin stood up and ordered the clone troopers to attack.

"Here's our chance, boys!" Anakin says

"You heard the general, men! Let's wreck some clankers!" Rex says

Activating their jetpacks, Rex and the 212th Attack Battalion took to the air and move across the bridge towards the badly damaged blockade, flying over Devon, who watched them. The clone troopers toss down silver grenades, Thermal Detonators, which exploded on impact, blasting dozens of droids to scrap, and even attached some to a few Octuptarra tri-droids, which fell over on their sides and collapsed over more battle droids. Despite being leaderless, the droid forces attempted to fight back, but were ultimately destroyed one after the other. As he hid down behind the crashed transport, Cody looked over at Obi-Wan on his right, wondering if he could join the action.

"General?" Cody says

"Yes, Cody. You may join the fun as well." Obi-Wan says

"Yes, sir." Cody says

The clone commander rises up onto his feet and swings his left-hand forward, ordering the charge.

"Blast them!" Cody shouts

Cody and the 501st Legion charge across the bridge and sprint toward the city, passing the Keyblade Wielder as he watched them go. Obi-Wan stood up and followed Anakin as they walked over towards Devon. Knowing the clone troopers can handle things from here, the young teen sighs with a smile and de-summons his Keyblade.

"And I thought I could make an entrance." Anakin says

Upon hearing Anakin's voice, Devon turns around to his left and faces the two Jedi as they approached him.

"Anakin! Obi-Wan!" Devon greets happily

"Bravo, Devon. It seems you've certainly improved with your training." Obi-Wan says

Devon nods his head.

"Yeah, I've definitely gotten much stronger since then. I've had some close calls, some near death experiences, a few tough battles, but I'm still kicking." Devon says gesturing his hands to his sides

The Keyblade Wielder extends his right-hand to the two Jedi and shakes their hands, starting with Obi-Wan first, then Anakin, giving him a pat on the right-shoulder with his left-hand.

"It's great to see you again, Devon." Anakin says

"Hey, I promised I'd come back to assist the Republic with the Clone Wars, didn't I? I may not have been around to help in the fight against Count Dooku and the Separatists, but I'm here now, and I'll be darn sure to help finish it. So, what'd I miss while I was away?" Devon says

Before either Anakin or Obi-Wan could explain, the white and blue astromech droid, R2-D2 rolls up from behind the two Jedi and approaches Devon, whistling and beeping happily in greeting.

"Hey, R2! Ha ha! How've ya been, buddy?" Devon greets smiling

Devon kneels down on his left-knee to R2 and places his left-hand on his metal dome while the droid wobbles left and right with more beeping.

"Yeah, it's great to see you too." Devon says

Then, Rex and four of his fellow troopers drop down behind Devon, causing him to look back over his left-shoulder, and gives the Jedi a report on the battle.

"General, we've taken back the city and the droid forces are in full retreat. Yerbana is officially back under Republic control." Rex says

"Nice work, Rex." Anakin says

Rex and the clone troopers nodded their heads in acknowledgment, then looked at Devon, noticing his presence as he rose up and turned to face them.

"Welcome back, General. Glad to have you back in the fray." Rex says

Devon's eyes widened in surprise and he stared in amazement as he couldn't believe his ears. He was a General? A military commander in the Grand Army of the Republic? The Keyblade Wielder looks back at Anakin and Obi-Wan, who both stood with their arms crossed and smiles on their faces.

"Me? A General?" Devon asks

"Well, of course, Devon. You are, after all, a hero of the Republic. And you helped save it more than once. It's only fitting." Obi-Wan says gesturing his right-hand to Devon

Devon placed his right-hand over his chest, feeling overwhelmed with the new authority he had over the Republic's military forces. The Keyblade Wielder turned around and faced Rex and his clone troopers as they stood at attention for him.

"Wow. Heh. This is awesome." Devon says

"Devon, this is Captain Rex. He's worked alongside me through most of the war and is the best trooper I know." Anakin says

"A pleasure, sir." Rex says

Devon smiles and nods his head.

"Likewise." Devon says

Suddenly, Anakin's wrist comm on his left-arm starts beeping, drawing everyone's attention. It was an incoming transmission from Admiral Wullf Yularen from the Venator-class Republic Star Destroyer, Resolute in orbit above the planet. Anakin holds up his wrist and speaks into the comlink.

"Skywalker here. What is it, Admiral?" Anakin says

"Sir, we've received a transmission from someone using your slipspace frequency 'Fulcrum'." Yularen says

Fulcrum was a communication frequency used to contact those who knew it, which was usually Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yularen, and few others.

"Saw Gerrera?" Anakin says raising his right-eyebrow at Obi-Wan on his left

"Perhaps the siege at Onderon has taken a turn for the worse." Obi-Wan says placing his right-hand on his bearded chin

"No, sir, it's not Gerrera. You had best take this transmission here on the ship." Yularen says

Anakin and Obi-Wan both shared concerned glances with each other. Even Devon was concerned. Saw Gerrera was a resistance fighter and leading member of the Onderon rebels, who was fighting against an invasion from the Separatists back on their homeworld. He knew the frequency and would sometimes use it to contact Anakin and Obi-Wan, mostly for aid and reinforcements. If Gerrera wasn't using the frequency, then who? The Keyblade Wielder and the two Jedi were curious to investigate.

"Let's go check it out." Devon says

Leaving the planet of Yerbana, Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan take an LAAT gunship and fly up to the Resolute, landing in the hangar. Once onboard, the Keyblade Wielder and two Jedi head up to the bridge to meet with Admiral Yularen to learn more about the mysterious transmission.

"All right, Admiral. What's so important that you brought us all the way back... here?" Anakin asks

Anakin stopped and stared ahead at a holoprojector with widened eyes and a shocked expression. Devon and Obi-Wan were equally surprised as they saw someone who they had not seen in a long while. It was Ahsoka Tano, who turned around to her right with a smile on his face and her arms crossed as she faced the three heroes. Ahsoka looked much more mature than last Devon saw her. Her head tails were slightly longer, draping well past her shoulders, and she wore less revealing clothes, wearing a dark blue vest, a matching battle skirt and pants, and silver vambraces.

Standing beside Ahsoka on her right was a Lady Bo-Katan Kryze, a female Mandalorian warrior from her homeworld of Mandalore, who was a neutral party in the Clone Wars, supporting neither the Republic nor the Separatists. She was the leader of the Nite Owls, an elite Mandalorian unit of warriors who were part of the extremist group called Death Watch, Mandalorian traditionalists that deeply embodied warrior heritage and culture, preferring pride, strength, honor, and fear.

Devon saw the Mandalorian warrior and judging from the blue and steel armor she wore, he couldn't help but feel she was somewhat related to Jango Fett, the Mandalorian bounty hunter he fought back on Geonosis. Yet seeing as how she was standing next to Ahsoka, it was clear that she was a friend, or an ally of sorts. But he wasn't focused on her. His eyes were on Ahsoka, who greeted him and her former master.

"Hello, Master. Hello, Devon. It's been a while." Ashoka greets

Devon nodded his head with a smile while Anakin continued to stare in disbelief.

"Ah-Ahsoka." Anakin says

A brief silence fell over the bridge until Anakin chuckles.

"I don't believe it! How are you? Where are you? Are-are you okay?" Anakin asks

"I'm alright. Thank you. I wish we had more time to talk, but I have urgent information." Ahsoka says

"What is it, Ahsoka?" Obi-Wan asks

"Lady Bo-Katan and I have located the renegade Sith Lord, Maul." Ahsoka says

Devon's eyes widened with a troubled expression when he heard Darth Maul's name and he stared at Ahsoka in disbelief. Maul was still alive? After Obi-Wan sliced him in half during the Battle of Naboo? How could anyone survive a fatal blow like that?

"Wait a minute. Maul?! He's still alive?!" Devon says

"I know it's hard to believe, Devon, but yes. Maul is still very much alive. We've actually had a few encounters with him." Obi-Wan says

"More than a few." Anakin says

"Yes. And if we move swiftly, we believe we can capture him." Ahsoka says

Obi-Wan placed his right-hand on his chin in thought while Devon and Anakin looked at him. They had a chance to capture Maul and take a dangerous Sith Lord out of the galaxy. Feeling optimistic, Obi-Wan looks back at Devon and Anakin and nods his head, then they look back at Ahsoka's hologram.

"Alright, Ahsoka. We'll send you our coordinates. You and Lady Bo-Katan make your way over and we'll talk more." Devon says

Later on, Devon walked with Anakin, Obi-Wan, and R2-D2 through the hangar of the Venator Republic Star Destroyer while clone troopers marched around them as they filled him in more on Darth Maul and what happened with Ahsoka during his absence from the Clone Wars. Devon was utterly shocked and saddened to hear that Ahsoka was no longer a member of the Jedi Order, having lost faith in the Jedi and leaving after being framed by her former friend Barriss Offee for the bombing of the Jedi Temple, and he felt bad not being there to support the Torgruta during such a difficult time. A part of him wondered if it was his fault that she left. After all, she had kissed him before he left at the beginning of the Clone Wars, and he knew that such romantic attachments were deeply against the Jedi Code. Still, he was happy that she was still alive and that he would have a chance to see her again.

"So, Maul turned rogue, huh? Can't say I'm not surprised. Sidious obviously replaced him with Dooku as his apprentice, but I still can't believe that he survived all those years after the Battle of Naboo." Devon says

"Yes. It was quite a shock for all of us." Obi-Wan says

"And Ahsoka... I can't believe she's no longer a member of the Jedi Order. I wish I could've been there to help her." Devon says

"It was her decision. Believe me, Devon, I felt the same way. I practically begged for her to stay, but she said she had to find her own path. Something about following her heart." Anakin says

"I see." Devon says

"But you know, it all makes sense now." Anakin says

"What?" Obi-Wan asks

"If Ahsoka hadn't left the Order, then she wouldn't have been where she needed to be." Anakin says

"That's one way to look at it, I suppose." Obi-Wan says

Anakin walks infront of Obi-Wan and turns to face his master, stopping him.

"It's the only way to look at it. We're gonna capture Maul, finally. I thought you would be more excited about this." Anakin says

"I am cautiously optimistic." Obi-Wan says

Soon, a Kom'rk-class fighter/transport arrives, passing through the blue shields of the hangar and comes into landing with its two broad, angular wings rotating in an upright landing position as it turned around with its rear facing the heroes. This ship had two rear turbojet engines, four laser cannons, two in fore and aft of the main body, and a troop bay, which was in the main section of the transport.

A ramp lowers down from the back of the ship and Ahsoka Tano walks down into the hangar. R2 beeps happily and rushes over to meet her. Ahsoka strokes the astromech's dome with her left-hand, then walks over to the Keyblade Wielder and the two Jedi. Bo-Katan, who had her helmet off in her left-arm, and four other Mandalorian warriors followed behind her. Without her helmet, Bo-Katan had short red hair, reflective of traditional Mandalorian style of hard angled lines, green eyes, and light-colored skin. Ahsoka and the five Mandalorians soon stopped infront of the heroes and Anakin was the first to speak.

"Ahsoka, I'm so glad-" Anakin says

"We'll have to catch up another time. Things are moving quickly." Ahsoka says holding up her right-hand

"Every minute we waste here gives Maul an opportunity to slip away." Bo-Katan says stepping up to Ahsoka's left-side

"Right. We'd best get down to business." Devon says nodding his head in agreement

"We understand. Please, follow me." Obi-Wan says

Obi-Wan turns and starts walking out of the hangar, taking the lead as Devon, Ahsoka, Bo-Katan and her Mandalorian warriors followed him. Anakin watches the group for a moment, feeling unnerved by the situation, but follows along as they head out of the hangar.

Now up on the bridge, the group stood around a circular holoprojector inside the war room. From his point of view, Devon stood at one side of the holoprojector with Anakin and Obi-Wan standing with their arms crossed on his right and Ahsoka and Bo-Katan on his left. The meeting began as Ahsoka explains the information she and Bo-Katan had about Maul.

"Bo-Katan had been tracking Maul's movements for several months. I was able to obtain some transmission codes from the Pykes on Oba Diah, which helped her pinpoint some of his previous locations." Ahsoka says

"What were you doing on Oba Diah?" Anakin asks

"That's a long story and not really relevant right now." Ahsoka says

"What is relevant is that we know Maul is on Mandalore in the city of Sundari." Bo-Katan says

Bo-Katan presses a button on the holoprojector and it displays a blue holographic image of the planet of Mandalore.

"You're certain of this?" Obi-Wan asks

"He arrived two days ago." Bo-Katan says

"So why not take him yourself? Or, to be more specific, what do you want from the Republic?" Obi-Wan asks

"I don't have the numbers needed for a siege." Bo-Katan says

The female Mandalorian presses another button and a holographic image of skyscrapers appear on the display.

"Without a complete lockdown of the city, Maul will escape again. That's why I'm proposing a joint operation. If we are successful, you'll have Maul and I'll have Mandalore." Bo-Katan says

"If Republic forces aid you in your assault, it will break treaties that are 100 years old. We will effectively be drawn into another war." Obi-Wan says

"What's one more?" Bo-Katan asks rhetorically

"Well, we're not finished with our first one yet." Anakin says

"I will advise the Jedi Council of this development." Obi-Wan says

The Jedi Master turns around to exit the war room until the female Mandalorian yells out at him with anger in her voice.

"There's no time!" Bo-Katan yells

Obi-Wan turns back to his right and faces Bo-Katan as she continues yelling angrily at him.

"Maul's influence on Mandalore is destroying my people! He murdered their ruler, my sister! I thought she meant something to you!" Bo-Katan yells

A brief silence fills the room as everyone looked at Obi-Wan, who crossed his arms and whose eyes glanced down with slight sorrow.

"She did. And still does. But I cannot allow my feelings to cloud my judgment. The council will decide what our course of action will be." Obi-Wan says

Having said that, Obi-Wan turns around and leaves the war room. Bo-Katan turns to her right and goes to take her leave as well, but not before leaning over towards Ahsoka.

"I told you this would be a waste of time." Bo-Katan says

After saying that, Lady Bo-Katan and her Mandalorians take their leave of the war room, leaving Ahsoka with Devon and Anakin as they watched them go.

"So, that went well, all things considered." Anakin says crossing his arms

"You two certainly haven't changed." Ahsoka says

Anakin chuckles.

"Is that a bad thing?" Anakin asks

Ahsoka remains silent, but smirks at her former master.

"Well, here's hoping the Jedi Council will come to make the right decision. Dealing with two Sith Lords is a lot. But a rogue one, that's just begging for trouble." Devon says

The Keyblade Wielder moves closer to the female Togruta's side and places his left-hand on her right-shoulder, offering her comfort.

"Don't worry, Ahsoka. I'm sure the Council will send at least some of the Republic's forces to help Bo-Katan and her people." Devon says

"Devon's right, Snips. Just try to have a little faith. Come on. I have a surprise for you." Anakin says

Anakin walks around the holoprojector and past Devon and Ahsoka as he heads out into the rest of the ship while the Keyblade Wielder leans over to the female Togruta on his right.

"Snips?" Devon asks raising his right-eyebrow

"An old nickname of mine, courtesy of Anakin. It's what he called me sometimes back when I first became his Padawan during the Battle of Christophsis at the start of the Clone Wars." Ahsoka says

Devon snickered.

"Pfft! Kinda silly nickname for a Padawan, don't you think?" Devon says smiling

"Heh. Yeah." Ahsoka says also smiling

Devon and Ahsoka both chuckled a bit.

"Alright, come on. Let's go see what Anakin wants to show you." Devon says giving Ahsoka a pat on the left-shoulder and gesturing his head down the hallway

Ahsoka nodded her head and the two friends left the war room to catch up with Anakin.

Now out in the halls of Star Destroyer, Devon and Ahsoka walk with Anakin as he leads them through the ship, passing 212th clone troopers who salute them.

"Commander." Clone Trooper #1 greets

"Sir." Clone Trooper #2 greets

Devon and Anakin nod their heads to the clone troopers as they pass by while Ahsoka looks on in surprise since she no longer regards herself as a Jedi.

"They shouldn't salute me anymore. Not since I left the Order." Ahsoka says

"It doesn't matter to them. It's a sign of respect. They know what you went through for them, day after day, battle after battle. Loyalty means everything to the clones." Anakin says

"Just as it does for us too." Devon says

Soon, the trio walk into a hangar and are greeted by Rex, who had his helmet off, and his company, which stood in rows of two on both sides. All their helmets were painted orange and white in likeliness of her facial markings.

"Company, attention!" Rex says

The clone troopers turned and faced each other, standing tall and straight in file, while Ahsoka walked in between them, staring at the soldiers in astonishment. She soon turns to her right and walks back over to Rex and Anakin as he explains.

"As soon as Rex and the guys knew you were back, they got to work." Anakin says

"The paint job is a little crude, but we think it gets the idea across." Rex says

Ahsoka places her left-hand on the helmet in Rex' hands and runs it along its surface, then looks up at Rex.

"Glad to have you back, Commander." Rex says

"Rex, thank you. But you don't have to call me commander anymore." Ahsoka says

"Sure thing, Commander." Rex says

"Oh. I have one more surprise for you." Anakin says

Anakin takes a wooden box, which is given to him by Rex, and presents it to Ahsoka, holding it with both hands. Ahsoka places her right-hand on the box to open it. But before she could, alarm klaxons started blaring all throughout the Republic Star Destroyer. Something was wrong. Obi-Wan runs into the hangar and tells everyone to get ready.

"Anakin, Rex, prepare all forces. We're jumping to hyperspace immediately." Obi-Wan says

"Yes, sir." Rex says nodding his head

Turning to his fellow troopers, Rex orders his company to follow him.

"Men, with me." Rex commands

While Rex and his company run to prepare themselves for combat, Devon, Anakin, and Ahsoka looked at Obi-Wan, wondering what was happening.

"Obi-Wan, what's happening?" Devon asks

"Did the attack on Mandalore get approved?" Anakin asks

"No, it's Coruscant. Grevious has attacked the capitol." Obi-Wan says

"What?!" Devon exclaims in shock

"What about the Chancellor?" Anakin asks

"Shaak Ti has been sent to protect him, but Master Windu has lost contact with her. Not to worry. Our fleet can be there within the hour." Obi-Wan says

"So that's it?" Ahsoka asks

Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan turn and look at Ahsoka behind them as she crossed her arms. Clearly, she was upset by the sudden turn of events.

"You're going to abandon Bo-Katan and her people?" Ahsoka asks

"Ahsoka, surely you understand this is a pivotal moment in the Clone Wars. The heart of the Republic is under attack." Obi-Wan says

"I understand that, as usual, you're playing politics. This is why the people have lost faith in the Jedi. I had too, until I was reminded of what the Order means to people who truly need us." Ahsoka says placing her hands on her hips and pointing to herself with her right-hand

"Right now, people on Coruscant need us." Obi-Wan says

"No. The Chancellor needs you." Ahsoka says

"That's not fair." Obi-Wan says

"I'm not trying to be." Ahsoka says

Devon and Anakin look back and forth between Ahsoka and Obi-Wan and both of them step in and offer a solution.

"I'll divide the 501st, create a new division under Ahsoka's command." Anakin says gesturing his right-hand to Ahsoka

"Right. That way, she and Bo-Katan will have the numbers needed to lead the siege on Mandalore and liberate her people from Maul." Devon says

"Unfortunately, Ahsoka is no longer a part of the Grand Army of the Republic." Obi-Wan says

"We'll promote Rex to Commander and have him lead the new division. Ahsoka can go with him as an adviser." Anakin says

Anakin's turns to his former Padawan and asks her on what she thinks.

"What do you say?" Anakin says spreading his arms

"I accept. That is, if Obi-Wan agrees." Ahsoka says

The Jedi Master places his right-hand on his chin and pondered, but he soon came to agreement with the idea, feeling that it was just.

"Very well." Obi-Wan says nodding his head

Ahsoka smiles and nods her head, glad that the Jedi Master agree with the plan. Obi-Wan smiles as well and wishes the female Togruta the best of luck on her mission.

"May the Force be with you." Obi-Wan says

Obi-Wan turns to leave the hangar, but not before glancing back over his right-shoulder at Ahsoka.

"Oh, one other thing: I killed Maul once. Best to capture him. He doesn't seem to stay dead." Obi-Wan says

After saying that, the Jedi Master leaves the hangar and heads up to the bridge to prepare the fleet for the hyperspace trip to Coruscant. Once Obi-Wan was gone, Ahsoka looks over at Anakin on her left.

"Thanks for the support. As always." Ahsoka says

"That's what friends are for. If you're going to face Maul, you'll need these." Anakin says

With the box still in his hands, Anakin holds it before his former Padawan. Ahsoka places her hands on the box and opens it. Inside were two lightsabers. One was a single-bladed lightsaber with a cylindrical silver hilt and a black round, square-studded pommel, and the other was a shoto lightsaber, a smaller, less-detailed version of the other lightsaber. They were her old ones that Anakin had kept since she left the Jedi Order.

"I took care of them. Good as new." Anakin says

The female Togruta holds the shoto lightsaber in her left-hand, the other in her right-hand, and ignites them with blue plasma blades shooting up from the emitters instead of green.

"Maybe a little better." Anakin says

Ahsoka twirls the two lightsabers around a bit, getting a feel for them, then switches them off and clips them onto her belt.

"You take care of Maul. We'll take care of Grevious. With any luck, this will all be over soon." Anakin says

"Master Kenobi always said there's no such thing as luck." Ahsoka says

"Good thing I taught you otherwise." Anakin says

Anakin turns around to his left and heads for the door to the hangar, which split open automatically on his approach. Just as he was about to head out, Ahsoka calls out to her former master.

"Anakin!" Ahsoka calls

The Jedi Knight stops at the door, turns on his right, and looks back at the female Togruta.

"Good luck." Ahsoka says

Anakin smiles, staring at Ahsoka for a moment then leaves the hangar to join his master up on the bridge, while Devon stays behind with his Padawan friend. After watching him leave, the Keyblade Wielder turns to his right and faces at the female Togruta, still upset by the fact that she was no longer a Jedi.

"Ahsoka... I'm sorry you're no longer part of the Order. It's not fair what happened to you. I'm sure it must've been hard for you and Anakin when you left." Devon says

"It's alright, Devon. It wasn't your fault. You don't need to apologize. So, you'll be going with Anakin and Obi-Wan to Coruscant?" Ahsoka says

Devon nods his head.

"Yeah. As much as I would like to help you and Lady Bo-Katan with the siege against Maul, I feel like Anakin and Obi-Wan will need me more against Dooku and Grevious." Devon says

"I understand." Ahsoka says

"You know, even though you don't think yourself much as a Jedi, I've always believed in you, Ahsoka. And no matter what anyone says..." Devon says

Devon places his hands on Ahsoka's shoulders.

"...you'll always be a Jedi in my book. Just remember, we're one with the Force and the Force is with us. Always trust in the Force, and trust your heart. It'll never lead you astray." Devon says

Ahsoka looks up at Devon and smiles.

"Thanks, Devon. I know I can always count on you as a friend." Ahsoka says

The Keyblade Wielder and the female Togruta turn around and they saw Rex returning with his company and an LAAT gunship, which lands behind them. The ship side door slides open, revealing more clone troopers inside, ready for battle.

"Commander, we're ready to go." Rex says

Devon and Ahsoka shared glances with each other before they walk over to Rex and his company.

"Rex, you and your men will be going with Ahsoka to Mandalore to support Lady Bo-Katan and her people. The division will be under your command, Rex, and Ahsoka will be your adviser during the siege." Devon says

"Yes, sir!" Rex says with a salute

"And Rex?" Devon says

Devon extends his right-hand out to the Clone Commander, offering him a handshake.

"Take care of yourself, trooper. And watch out for Ahsoka, will you?" Devon says

Rex grabs hold of Devon's hand and shakes it.

"Sure thing, General." Rex says nodding his head

Devon nods his head back and turns to Ahsoka on his left.

"Hey, if you see Maul, be sure to give him my regards." Devon says

"You know I will. And be careful with Grievous. He's ruthless and vicious. I heard he took down whole teams of Jedi by himself. He even fought Masters Mundi, Secura, Shaak Ti, and three other Jedi at once during the Battle of Hypo." Ahsoka says

"Well, he may be used to fighting Jedi, but he's never met a Keyblade Wielder like me before. But still, I'll be careful." Devon says pointing at himself with his right-thumb

The Keyblade Wielder was about to turn around to leave when he remembered something.

"Oh! By the way." Devon says

Devon reaches into the right-pocket of his pants and takes out his holocommunicator, showing it to Ahsoka.

"I still got the holocommunicator you gave me. I'll try to stay in contact when I can." Devon says holding up the small device before putting it back into his pocket

"And I'll be sure keep you updated on Maul and the siege of Mandalore." Ahsoka says

Devon nods his head and turns around to his left to leave when Ahsoka calls out to him.

"Devon!" Ahsoka calls

The Keyblade Wielder turns back towards the female Togruta and she runs up to Devon, wrapping her arms around him in a loving embrace and giving him a kiss on the lips. Devon wasn't as surprised as he was last time. The kiss lasted for at least seven seconds before Ahsoka pulls apart from the kiss and backs away, wishing her best friend well on his rescue mission and his journey.

"Good luck. May the Force be with you." Ahsoka says

"You too." Devon says

And so, having said farewell, the two heroes went their separate ways with Devon leaving to head up onto the bridge to join Anakin and Obi-Wan and Ahsoka leaving with Rex and his men in their gunship.

Later on, Devon stood up on the bridge with his arms crossed, watching as the Republic Star Destroyer traveled through the blue tunnel of hyperspace. He actually found the kaleidoscope, swirling patterns of light in the space-time dimension to be quite soothing. In fact, he found everything about hyperspace to be amazing. The ability to travel across the galaxy to other star systems, faster than the speed of light. Something that was nearly, if not almost similar to the way he moved across interstellar distances to reach the many worlds in the Universe with his friends through the Ocean Between and the Lanes Between via pathways of light, only he was able to do it without a Gummi ship like Sora, Donald, and Goofy, or a Keyblade Glider like Terra, Ventus, Aqua, Shara, and Ducar in their travels. The Keyblade Wielder was soon joined by Anakin, who walked up alongside him on his left.

"Hey, Devon." Anakin says

Devon looked at the Jedi Knight as he came up to his side.

"Hey, Anakin." Devon says

"You alright?" Anakin asks

"Yeah. Yeah. I just... I just got a lot on my mind. I feel like I've come a long way since I began my journey as a Keyblade Wielder. I've helped so many people, learned so much. And now, I feel like my Mark of Mastery Exam is nearly over. I'm so close to becoming a Keyblade Master, to fulfilling my destiny. It's all so... overwhelming, and... exciting at the same time." Devon says

"I know the feeling. I feel like I've come a long way too since Tatooine. My whole life I've dreamed about traveling among the stars, becoming a hero, doing great things. I just can't believe I'm actually doing it all." Anakin says

The Jedi Knight looks at the Keyblade Wielder on his right and places his hand on his shoulder.

"And I owe it all to you. And Obi-Wan, of course." Anakin says

"Hey, don't forget about Qui-Gon. He's the one who saw your true potential as Jedi Knight before anyone else." Devon says

Anakin's eyes glanced down as he felt slightly sad upon hearing Qui-Gon's name. He remembered seeing the Force Ghost of Qui-Gon Jinn during the events that took place on Mortis, which involved him, Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, and the three representatives of the Force: The Father, the Daughter, and the Son. Everything that concerned him about his destiny as the Chosen One. And still to this day, he wondered if all that was real.

"Yes. Him too." Anakin says

Devon felt Anakin's sadness and he gently nudged his side with his left-elbow.

"Hey, we Chosen Ones need to stick together, right?" Devon says with a smile

"Heh. Yeah." Anakin says

Devon and Anakin both chuckled.

"Hey, come on. I've got something for you in the hangar." Anakin says

"Something for me?" Devon asks confused

"Well, sure. Ahsoka wasn't the only one I had surprises for." Anakin says

Anakin turned to his right and walked out of the bridge, heading out into the metal hallway. Devon watched him for a moment, then quickly followed Anakin, curious to know what he had to show him.

Now down in the hangar, Devon walked with Anakin on his left as he led through the ship while several clone troopers walked past them, going about their duties. After a few minutes of walking, Anakin stopped and gestures his right-hand at something infront of him.

"Here it is." Anakin says

Devon took a few steps forward and he stared in surprise and amazement. Before him was a custom metallic silver and blue Republic Starfighter, an Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor. It was a ship manufactured from Kuat Systems Engineering that replaced the Republic's Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor being highly maneuverable and faster with twin ion engines providing a maximum acceleration of 5,200G and a max speed of 1,500 kph. The Eta-2 had a center cockpit with a transparisteel viewport and a forward spaceframe, leaving the front with a two-forked shape, and featured blue wings with upper and lower radiator panels, S-foils, that spreaded open to shed excess heat from the ship's engines and also during intense combat. Although it was small, this vessel packed superior firepower with two large laser cannons and two secondary ion cannons.

Devon walked up to the starfighter still in stunned surprise and places his left-hand on its right-wing, running it along the metallic silver plating.

"This is my ship?" Devon asks in awe

"And that's not all. Here comes another surprise for you." Anakin says

Devon turns and looks right at Anakin, then turns around to his right and saw a silver and blue astromech droid approaching him. It was an extremely rare T7-series droid, one of few was still in use since the days of the Old Republic during the Cold War thousands of years ago, manufactured from the Duwani Mechanical Products on Nar Shadda. Its name: T7-13.

T7-13 had masculine programming in his systems, metallic silver plating, a large main blue photoreceptor and a holographic projector on his roughly toroidal head, a blocky chassis, metallic blue slots on his head and chassis, which housed many arms, sensors, specialized gadgets, and other apparatuses, and three wheeled legs with motorized, all-terrain treads, covered by ankle articulator servomotors. One small retractable wheel was attached to the rear of the droid's chassis, and two attached to the front, which rotated and slid forward and backwards to adjust the droid's height.

"Devon, meet T7-13. Your astromech droid." Anakin says

T7 beeped, chirped, and whistled happily as he rolled up and greeted the Keyblade Wielder. Devon stared in surprise. He had his own starfighter and his own astromech droid? This had to be the coolest day in his life! Smiling, the Keyblade Wielder kneeled down to the droid on his right-knee and placed his right-hand on T7's head, feeling the smooth, polished metal with his skin.

"Hi, T7. Nice to meet you." Devon says

R2 rolls into the hangar and approaches the two humans and his fellow astromech droid, which he greeted with beeps, whistles, and chirps. Then, he and T7 exchanged pleasantries with one another. Devon stood up and backed up to Anakin's left as they watched in amusement.

"We had T7 built for you soon after you left. He was brought to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant from Nar Shadda, where he stayed for a little bit, until we found a place for him onboard the Resolute. He's been real handy with repairs and maintenance on the ship and R2's kept him company most of the time while you were away." Anakin says

"Heh. I guess that explains why they're such great friends." Devon says watching R2 and T7 as they whistled and beeped back and forth to each other

"Yeah. At first, we were going to build you a Delta-7, but we had no idea when you would be coming back until then. So, we settled to build you an Eta-2 with all the rest." Anakin says

Anakin walks over to Devon and places his right-hand on his left-shoulder.

"What do you think?" Anakin says

The Keyblade Wielder looks at the Jedi Knight on his left and smiled.

"These are great, Anakin! Thanks!" Devon says happily

"I thought I might find you two down here." A voice says

Devon and Anakin turned around on their right and they saw Obi-Wan approaching them with his hands behind his back.

"Just getting Devon acquainted with his new ship and droid, Master." Anakin says

"Something on your mind, Obi-Wan?" Devon asks

"I just want to share with you both one piece of advice before the battle. The most difficult trial a Jedi or a Keyblade Wielder must face is deep inside himself. Often we see things we don't like, but these aspects are not set in stone. It is our decisions that shape our destinies." Obi-Wan says

Devon and Anakin shared serious glances with each other as they took this in. Then, the alarm klaxons of the ship began blaring with Admiral Yularen's voice echoing throughout the ship.

"Attention! We're coming up on Coruscant! All hands to battle stations!" Yularen announces

"You heard him, boys! Battle stations! All crews to your fighters! Move!" Anakin yells

All the clone troopers ran to their assigned positions on the ship, most manning the turbolaser cannons, while some ran for the ARC-170s that were docked around in the hangar.

ARC-170 or Aggressive ReConnaissance-170 were multipurpose Republic starfighters designed for intense battle and long deep-space missions. Measuring 12.71 meters in length, each of these ships utilized two powerful engines, long-range scanners and sensors on the vessel's nose, and were crewed by three clones: a pilot, a co-pilot, and a rear gunner along with an astromech droid. The starfighter possessed powerful weaponry, carrying launchers armed with six proton torpedoes and two main forward medium laser cannons on the underside of the outer wings.

Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan watched as the clone troopers went to their stations, running around as they prepared themselves for battle. The Keyblade Wielder looked over at T7-13 and R2-D2 on his right as they stood together, whistling and beeping. Then, the three heroes looked toward one another, each sharing serious, determined expressions, ready for the fight ahead.

"Let's rock it." Devon says

Above the planetary system of Coruscant, the Galactic Republic was in the midst of a massive, epic space battle with Separatist forces, which consisted of tens of thousands of Droid starfighters like Droid Tri-fighters, Vulture-class, Hyena-class fighter bombers, but also large starships like the Banking Clan's Munificent-class frigates and the Commerce Guild's Recusant-class light destroyers.

Hyena Bombers were droids that had the same appearance as Vulture droids, only they had wider and sturdier hulls with huge wings and a much more heavy armament like quad laser cannons, two missile pods carrying either proton torpedoes or concussion missiles, and a bomb chute underway, carrying four proton bombs.

Munificent-class frigates were warships used by the Separatists measured 825 meters in length, 426 meters in width, and 243 meters in height. They were fast at 950 kph with seven ion drive thrusters, lightly armored, and heavily armed to the with two forward-mounted heavy turbolaser cannons, two forward-mounted heavy ion cannons, thirteen port and starboard twin light turbolaser cannons, ten port and ten starboard turret-mounted light turbolasers, six port and starboard medium flak guns, with roughly thirty-three shells per gun, and ten dorsal, ten ventral, port, and starboard turret-mounted retractable point-defense twin light turbolasers, as well as several ordnance launchers and a hyperwave jammer. A single reactor powered the entire ship.

Recusant-class light destroyers were warships owned by the Commerce Guild, serving as command ships for naval commanders, but also as support ships. These ships were controlled by a droid brain and had a heavy arsenal of firepower, consisting of a single brow heavy turbolaser cannon, four heavy turbolaser cannons, six heavy turbolaser turrets, five additional turbolaser cannons, 30 dual laser cannons, 12 dual light laser cannons, and 60 point-defense laser cannons. It's true effectiveness was large numbers combined against opposing starships.

And in the center of this massive fleet was General Grevious' flagship, the Invisible Hand, a Providence-class Dreadnought where Chancellor Palpatine was held captive.

The Invisible Hand was a dreadnought, battleship, and destroyer, one of the largest and most powerful vessels that served within the Confederate government, approximately 2,000 meters in length with a long and roughly cylindrical hull that possessed a tapered, cone-like bow, and aftward sections dominated by a bulky superstructure with a towering fin-like spire that erected from the dorsal surface of its hull, which also supported its command bridge and observation platforms. Propelled by a trio of Creveld-4 radial ion drives, the Providence travels with a maximum acceleration of 2,500G, as well as seventy mega light per hour and a maximum atmospheric speed of 2,000 kilometers per hour. It was also equipped with long-range sensors, a navigation computer, and was powered by several reactors. For weapon systems, the cylindrical surface of the ship was dotted with weapon emplacements: fourteen port and starboard heavy quad turbolaser cannons, thirty-four dorsal and ventral turret-mounted dual heavy laser cannons, twelve port and starboard twin light point-defense ion cannons, two forward-mounted battleship heavy ion cannons, 102 proton torpedo launchers, which could each fire a total of three torpedoes, as well as twelve heavy flak guns, and ten port and starboard heavy tractor beam emitters. And in terms of defense, the dreadnought was equipped with deflector shields as well as thermal shields, which were powerful enough to turn or absorb the heaviest laser fire from opposing starships. Overall, the Providence-class was a fearsome battleship.

Embarking on a rescue mission to save the Supreme Chancellor, Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan flew their Eta-2 interceptors, each of them wearing a metal headset on the right-side of their heads for communication. They skimmed along the surface of one of their Venator destroyers, then barrel rolled off the left-side and dived down, descending right into the massively, chaotic space battle, passing red and green laser fire from the dual and quad turbo laser cannons and flak guns of both sides, and even flew through a large explosion that ripped apart one of the Banking Clan's Munificent frigates. While the two fleets engaged with one another, the heroic trio continued on their flight path, flying in formation with Devon leading ahead in the center with T7-13 with his metallic silver and blue Eta-2, Anakin and R2-D2 in their steel and yellow Eta-2 on the left, and Obi-Wan and R4-P17 in their red and white Eta-2 on the right.

"Lock onto them, R2." Anakin says

R2 beeps and whistles in acknowledgment. In his fighter, the Keyblade Wielder looks ahead at the long, cylindrical dreadnought.

"I'm guessing that's General Grievous' ship directly ahead?" Devon asks

"Yep. That's it. The one crawling with Vulture droids." Anakin says

"Oh, I see it. This is going to be interesting." Obi-Wan says

Hundreds of Vulture droid starfighters stood protectively on the flagship's surface, speaking in droid language as they noticed the three Republic interceptors approaching their position. Switching to flight mode, the Vulture droids take off to engage the heroes with Tri-fighters joining them. Seeing the enemy ships, Obi-Wan radios for backup.

"Oddball, do you copy?" Obi-Wan says

"Go ahead, Red Leader." Oddball says

"Mark my position. Form your squad up behind me." Obi-Wan says

Not far from the heroic trio, squadrons of ARC-170 Republic starfighters from Clone Flight Squad Seven flew through the space battle. One of them was piloted by a Clone Commander named CC-2237 or Oddball as he was nicknamed, who answered the Jedi Master's transmission.

"We're on your tail, General Kenobi. Set S-Foils in attack position." Oddball says

The ARC-170 Republic starfighters flew up in formation behind Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan's Eta-2 interceptors and switched into attack mode with their three wings opening up and spreading out.

"This is where the fun begins." Anakin says smiling

"Let them pass between us." Obi-Wan says

Within moments, the two sides of starfighters clash with green and red laser fire flying through space. Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan punch through and continued on towards the Invisible Hand while the squadron dealt with the Vulture and Tri-droids, blasting most of them into space junk. However, some of their numbers were gunned down by the droid fighters as well as they trailed behind them.

"They're all over me! Get them off my-[static]!" A clone pilot says

Anakin heard the transmission and didn't feel like leaving the clone pilots behind to get blasted.

"I'm gonna go help them out." Anakin says

"No. No, they are doing their job so we can do ours." Obi-Wan says

Pushing on, Devon, Anakin and Obi-Wan continue toward General Grievous' flagship while the distressed ARC-170 is blasted to pieces, killing the clone pilot and his gunners. Up ahead, a Vulture droid speaks in droid language and fires four discord missiles from its wings, launching them straight at the heroes.

"Missiles!" Anakin exclaims

"Pull up!" Devon exclaims

The Keyblade Wielder and two Jedi immediately pull off to the sides and evade the missiles as they fly past them.

"They overshot shot us." Obi-Wan says

"They're coming around." Anakin says

The missiles looped back around and each followed their own targets. Two missiles went after Anakin, one homed in on Devon, and the other chased after Obi-Wan. The Jedi Master flew his Eta-2 interceptor around, trying to shake the missile with evasive maneuvers with some assistance from R4, who beeps.

"All right, R4. No, no, no, no. No, nothing too fancy." Obi-Wan says

On his side, Anakin flies up as the two missiles trailed behind him, but he had a trick up his sleeve.

"Surge all power units, R2. Stand by reverse thrusters." Anakin says

Turning the wheel to the right, Anakin spins his Eta-2 with the engines roaring, performing multiple barrel rolls while R2 whistles like he was getting dizzy. The missiles imitated the maneuver, spiraling around each other until their flight paths eventually intersect and explode.

"We got 'em, R2." Anakin chuckles

On Devon's side, he flies his starfighter with fast speed and quick maneuvers, weaving around wreckages from Venator destroyers, Munificent frigates, and Recusant light destroyers, but still the missile kept up with him.

"Man, this missile's got some serious tracking." Devon says

Up ahead, a squadron of five Vulture droids was closing in on the Keyblade Wielder. T7 whistles loudly, warning him of the danger.

"Yeah, T7. I see 'em, but I got an idea." Devon says

The Vulture droids open fire with their cannons, but Devon dodges the red laser fire, flying his interceptor up, down, and to the sides. Straightening out, he pulls the right-trigger on his controls and engages the enemy ships, blasting them all to pieces with blue blaster bolts fired from his laser cannons. Then, with the missile still following him, he pulls down on the throttle and accelerates towards the floating droid debris. At the last second, Devon performs a loop under and over, while the missile collides with the cloud of debris and explodes.

"Yes! Nailed it!" Devon says smiling

Anakin flies up alongside Devon on his left and complimented him on the maneuver.

"I saw that, Devon. Nice one." Anakin says

"Thanks, Anakin." Devon says

The Keyblade Wielder and Jedi Knight catch up with Obi-Wan, who was having a hard time avoiding the missile that was still targeting him.

"Obi-Wan? You alright?" Devon asks

"Flying is for droids." Obi-Wan mutters

The missile suddenly flies past Obi-wan and exploded infront of him, releasing several small spheres that popped open and attached themselves to his ship's hull. These were Pistoeka sabotage droids or buzz droids as they were commonly known, insect-like droids that were designed for one thing: sabotage. They had three red eye sensors, one main eye in the center and two smaller secondary ones above and below, an extendable probe, and multiple destructive tools such as drill heads, puncture and cutting blades, plasma cutting torches, circular saws, prying hooks, and picket and pincer arms.

"I'm hit. Anakin?" Obi-Wan says

"We see them. Buzz droids." Anakin says

The buzz droids squawked and chattered as they began damaging Obi-Wan's ship, cutting through the hull with their torches and saw blades and tearing off pieces with their prying hooks. R4 whimpered as she looked around at the buzz droids that surrounded her. One of them crawls over the cockpit above Obi-Wan's head and went straight for R4.

"R4, be careful. You have a-" Obi-Wan warns

The buzz droid cuts off R4's dome and rips it off with sparks flying, exposing the wiring underneath. R4 wails as her head flew off, flipping into space.

"Oh dear." Obi-Wan says

The buzz droids worked rapidly fast in dismantling Obi-Wan's Eta-2 interceptor, poking underneath the hull with their probes and drills and cutting the wiring with their saw blades, targeting vital systems.

"They're shutting down all the controls." Obi-Wan says

Devon and Anakin flew in behind Obi-Wan, seeing that he was in trouble.

"Hang in there, Obi-Wan!" Devon says

"Move to the right so I can get a clear shot at them." Anakin says

"The mission. Get to the command ship. Get the Chancellor. I'm running out of tricks here." Obi-Wan says

Moving in to assist his master, Anakin attempts to shoot the droids off, firing his laser cannons. He blasts a few droids, but he also destroyed the port dorsal radiator of Obi-Wan's ship in the process.

"Oh! In the name of-! Hold your fire! You're not helping here!" Obi-Wan says

"I agree. Bad idea." Anakin says

One of the buzz droids drills into the port mandible of Obi-Wan's ship, causing steam to shoot out and cloud the cockpit viewport.

"I can't see a thing. My cockpit's fogging." Obi-Wan says

Anakin flies up alongside Obi-Wan on his left, moving into position as he continued to help.

"They're all over me! Anakin!" Obi-Wan says

Using his fighter's wing, Anakin gently rams into Obi-Wan's interceptor, trying to knock the buzz droids off.

"Move to the right." Anakin says

"Hold on, Anakin. You're gonna get us both killed. Get out of here. There's nothing more you can do." Obi-Wan says

"We're not leaving without you, Master." Anakin says

Anakin rams his ship into Obi-Wan's ship again, and manages to crush three droids with his wing as it scraps along the hull. However, the last surviving buzz droid crawls aboard Anakin's fighter and it targets R2, growling as it prepared its drill head. A blue shock arm emerges from a slot in R2's dome as he was ready to defend himself.

"Get him, R2!" Anakin says

R2 fends off the buzz droid with his shock arm, zapping it with small electric blasts and preventing it from getting too close.

"R2, hit the buzz droid's center eye." Obi-Wan says

Following Obi-Wan's guidance, R2 zaps the center eye of the buzz droid, which shatters and causes the droid to shake violently. Deactivated, the sabotage droid collapses and slides off the wing of the starfighter, drifting off into space.

"Yeah! You got him!" Anakin says

"Great job, R2." Obi-Wan says

"Nice going!" Devon says

T7 beeps and whistles congratulations to R2, who beeps and whistles back his thanks. With their path now clear, the trio began their final approach toward the Invisible Hand.

"The general's command ship is dead ahead." Anakin says

R2 squeals in panic as the blue deflector shield was still operational.

"Well, have you noticed the shields are still up?!" Obi-Wan says

"I got it!" Devon says

Devon flies up and fires his laser cannons, shooting blue laser bolts at the deflector shield generator on the right-side of the hangar bay entrance, destroying it. With the shields gone, the atmospheric containment shield quickly slides out from the left in several segments to seal off the breach.

"Oh, I have a bad feeling about this." Obi-Wan says

"Quick! Floor it!" Devon says

Putting all power to their engines, Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan fly forward at full speed and shoot into the hangar, barely bridging the gap in the metal shield as it closes up. Devon was the first to make it through with Obi-Wan and Anakin behind him. The Eta-2 interceptors crash land into the hangar, sliding and screeching across the metal floor and ramming into B1 security battle droids that were already in the hangar. Devon leaps out of his ship and summons Soul Calibur into his right-hand and slides across the floor, swinging his crystal Keyblade left and right and slicing through four battle droids in his path. Obi-Wan leaps out of his ship with a somersault and ignites his lightsaber, slicing the battle droids around him. As his interceptor skids to a stop, Anakin unstraps himself from the cockpit and ejects R2 from his dorsal socket. T7 was ejected from his socket as well. Battle droids converged on the heroes and attacked with their blaster rifles.

"There they are! Get 'em!" Security battle droid #1 says

The battle droids fire their weapons at Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan, who deflected the red bolts away and cut through the droids with slashes from their lightsabers and crystal Keyblade. They regrouped and stood back to back as they continued dealing with the battle droids while R2 and T7 stayed close safely next to their masters. As he stood with the two Jedi, Devon twirls Soul Calibur around in his right-hand, redirecting the red bolts back at four battle droids, then thrusts his other hand forward at seven others, sending them flying with a telekinetic blast while they screamed.

"R2, locate the Chancellor." Obi-Wan says

"T7, you help too." Devon says

The two astromech droids both chirped in acknowledgment and went to work on finding Palpatine while the Keyblade Wielder and the two Jedi finished off the last of the security droids as they groaned and fell onto the floor. Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan put away their weapons and walked over to the right of the hangar, where R2 plugs into a nearby terminal with his scomp link and connects into the network, displaying a blue hologram of the Invisible Hand through his holographic projector. A blinking red dot showed the exact location of the heroes in the hangar and a line is drawn through the ship to a similar dot on the upper observation deck, which showed Palpatine's location.

"The Chancellor's signal is coming from right there. The observation platform at the top of that spire." Obi-Wan says pointing at the spire in the hologram with his left-hand

"I sense Count Dooku." Anakin says looking back over his right-shoulder at the rest of the ship

"Good. I've been looking to catch up with him." Devon says cracking his knuckles

"I sense a trap." Obi-Wan says

"So? Next move?" Devon asks

"Spring the trap." Obi-Wan says

"Then, let's get moving." Devon says nodding his head

The heroic trio began walking to make their way out of the hangar when R2 and T7 beeped and whistled, causing the Keyblade Wielder and two Jedi to look behind them.

"R2, go back. I need you to stay with the ship." Anakin says

"Same goes for you, T7. Stay with R2 and look after the ship." Devon says

Knowing that they might need their help to navigate the dreadnought, Obi-Wan takes out a small Hush-98 comlink in his left-hand from his robes and holds it up.

"Here. Take this and wait for orders." Obi-Wan says

The Jedi Master tosses the comlink over to R2, who catches it with a robotic arm from the topmost horizontal slot of his body, and he and T7 whistle and beep in acknowledgment.

Elsewhere on the Invisible Hand, General Grievous enters the command bridge of the dreadnought with his three IG-100 MagnaGuards at his sides.

General Grievous was a Kaleesh male warlord from the planet of Kalee and was the commanding general of the Separatist Droid Army for the entirety of the Clone Wars and was the most powerful person in the Confederacy, under only Dooku. He was a savage, sadistic, ruthless warrior as well as a brilliant military genius on warfare and battle tactics, which gave him a fearsome, bloodthirsty reputation. He was also a skilled duelist in lightsaber combat, having been trained by Count Dooku. Most of Grievous' body was completely cybernetic with white armor, except for parts of his red-skinned head, his brain, and his golden eyes, all kept inside a white mechanical skull mask, and a green sac in his chest cavity where his vital organs were kept.

IG-100 MagnaGuards were fearsome bodyguard droids that had masculine programming, two dull red eye photoreceptors, an expressionless face, and a shear physical build of duranium armor plating, wearing tan head wraps and capes and wielding electrostaffs as their primary weapon, which was resistant against a Jedi's lightsaber.

Grievous had just returned after personally kidnapping Chancellor Palpatine from the planetary-city, but not before being wounded by Jedi Master Mace Windu, who had used the Force to painfully crush the plates covering his internal organ sac in his chest, injuring his lungs with bits of duranium cutting them up and aggravating his already wheezing and coughing. Growling, Grievous enters the bridge, which had a 180-degree view of the battle and crewed by several blue OOM pilot battle droids, and approaches the ship's Nemoidian captain, Lushros Dofine, cousin of Daultay Dofine, who had died during the Battle of Naboo, demanding a situation update.

"What's the situation, Captain?" Grievous asks

"Two Jedi have landed in the main hangar bay. We're tracking them. The Keyblade Wielder is with them too." Lushros says

A green video screen shows Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan, colored in red, as they run through the hallways of the ship and another shows their exact location as square blips.

"Just as Count Dooku predicted." Grievous says

Grievous coughs a bit from his internal wounds and cackles.

---

As Devon and the two Jedi headed towards the turbolift to head further up the ship, they heard clattering, rolling sounds coming from the hall behind them.

"Destroyers!" Anakin says

A triad of Droidekas roll up and unfold into attack mode, shooting their dual blasters at the heroes. Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan immediately draw their Keyblade and lightsabers and defend themselves, deflecting the blaster bolts and backing away into the turbolift as it came up behind them. Once inside, the doors to the lift close and the Keyblade Wielder and two Jedi put away their weapons. But they weren't alone.

"Drop your weapons." A robotic voice says

The trio look back over their shoulders and saw a battalion of eight B1 security battle droids in the turbolift standing behind them with their blaster rifles aimed at them.

"I said drop 'em." Security battle droid #2 says

The trio shared glances with each other, then quickly dispatch the battle droids, cutting them all down with their weapons.

In the hangar, R2 and T7 quickly move and hid away behind some cylindrical canisters as two B2 super battle droid, who were on patrol, coming into the hangar bay to investigate.

"Those are Jedi Fighters all right." Super battle droid #1 says

The two astromech droids turned their heads toward each other and chirped nervously.

---

In the turbolift, Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan were on their way up to the Chancellor's location on the upper levels of the dreadnought when it abruptly stops, much to the heroes' confusion.

"We stopped." Devon says

"Did you hit the stop button?" Obi-Wan asks looking at his Padawan

"No. Did you?" Anakin says

"No." Obi-Wan says

"I sure didn't." Devon says holding his hands up

"Well, there's more than one way out of here." Anakin says

Anakin ignites his lightsaber and began cutting a hole in the ceiling of the turbolift.

"We don't want to get out of here. We want to get moving." Obi-Wan says

Obi-Wan takes out his comlink to contact R2-D2.

"R2, activate Elevator..." Obi-Wan says

Back in the hangar, Obi-Wan's voice echoed loudly on the comlink, causing R2 and T7 to back away further in their hiding spot.

"...31174." Obi-Wan says

"Uh-oh." T7 beeps

The two super battle droids, who were investigating Obi-Wan's disabled Eta-2 interceptor, hear the Jedi Master's transmission as it echoed in the hangar.

"Come in, R2." Obi-Wan says

"What that?" Super battle droid #2 asks

"R2, do you copy?" Obi-Wan says

Backing away with T7, R2 twitters nervously and places his comlink into another compartment inside him, muffling Obi-Wan's voice.

"R2, activate Elevator 31174." Obi-Wan says

The battle droids soon shrug it off and went back to dismantling the Jedi starfighter.

"Get back to work. That nothin'." Super battle droid #1 says waving his left-hand

"Activate the elevator 31174." Obi-Wan says

---

"R2, we-" Obi-Wan says

Back in the turbolift, Anakin finishes with cutting a hole in the ceiling as the circular piece drops down between the heroes and jumps out into the elevator shaft with Devon following him while Obi-Wan remained inside, letting out a sigh.

"Always on the move." Obi-Wan mutters

---

In the hangar, R2 walks up to the terminal with T7 rolling up on his left.

"R2, switch on the comlink." Obi-Wan says

R2 takes out the comlink from his compartment, holding it in his robotic arm and Obi-Wan's voice was no longer muffled.

"R2, can you hear me? R2?" Obi-Wan says

R2 plugs into the terminal with his scomp link and accesses the controls for the turbolift. With a few turns, he activates the elevator.

---

But instead of going up as desired, the turbolift instantly plummets downward with Obi-Wan still inside. causing him to fall to the floor.

"Whoa!" Obi-Wan exclaims

Anakin and Devon jump up and grab hold of the nearby elevator shaft as the turbolift suddenly drops under their feet. Inside the lift, Obi-Wan stands back up and notices that the elevator was heading down. Going back to his comlink, the Jedi Master contacts R2 again.

"Stop, stop. R2, we need to be going up." Obi-Wan says

Devon and Anakin, still holding onto the elevator shaft, look down as the turbolift descended further away towards the bottom. Then, they look up and saw two security battle droids standing in the elevator door, pointing their blaster rifles at them.

"Hands up, Jedi." Security battle droid #2 says

"Uh, love to... but how do expect us to do that if we're holding onto the edge?" Devon asks

"Eh... He's got a point." Security battle droid #3 says looking left at his twin

---

With the comlink out again, the two super battle droids heard Obi-Wan's voice over the transmission again.

"R2, do you copy? R2, do you hear me? R2, we need to be going up, not down." Obi-Wan says

Still plugged into the terminal, R2 hacks into the elevator controls and switches it around.

---

The turbolift screeches as it stops again, knocking Obi-Wan once more onto the floor.

---

R2 and T7 look back and saw the two super battle droids, who had now noticed their presence in the hangar, approaching them.

"Hey, you!" Super battle droid #1 says

Going back to the terminal, R2 quickly activates the elevator with some turns of his scomp link.

---

The turbolift starts rising back up, now going in the right direction. Obi-Wan rises back onto his feet and speaks into the comlink.

"Now, that's better." Obi-Wan says

---

After R2 was done with the terminal, both he and T7 were picked up and seized by the super battle droids.

"You stupid little astro droids." Super battle droid #1 says

---

In the elevator shaft, Devon, Anakin and the battle droids notice the elevator now heading up toward them

"Uh-oh." Security battle droid #3 says

Devon and Anakin kick off the elevator door, flipping toward the other side of the shaft, then land on the turbolift as it rises up underneath them, destroying the two battle droids as they stood too far into the shaft. Devon and Anakin jump back through the hole into the elevator, startling Obi-Wan, who activates his lightsaber, but calms down when he saw his friends.

"Oh, it's you." Obi-Wan says

"Well, what was that all about?" Anakin asks

"Well, R2 has been-" Obi-Wan says

"Uh, no loose wire jokes." Anakin says

"Did I say anything?" Obi-Wan asks

"He's trying." Anakin says

"I didn't say anything." Obi-Wan says

---

In the hangar, as the super battle droids held them up, R2 and T7 spray oil in their faces, blinding the tall droids.

"My eyes! My eyes!" Super battle droid #1 exclaims

The super battle droids slip around the oil and lose their grip on the two astromech droids, who then activate their thrusters, igniting the oil and burning the two battle droids into inoperability. R2 and T7 safely hover and land a safe distance away from the flames.

After their short misadventure, Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan reach the top level of the spire and exited the central elevator door into the Wizard's Tower, a sanctum that had a table situated in the center of the room with holographic screens and two chairs, as well as display screens near a throne-like chair that overlooked the surrounding space from an expansive 180-degree viewport within the room. Walking over to the balcony of the sanctum, they find Chancellor Palpatine strapped to the throne-like spinning chair by blue-purple energy binders around his wrists. The trio walk down the stairs and move across the room to Palpatine and bow respectively before him.

"Chancellor." Obi-Wan says

"Are you alright?" Anakin asks

"Count Dooku." Palpatine says

The heroic trio turn around and they saw Dooku and Lord Drazor enter the room, walking up to the balcony with two super battle droids flanking their sides.

"Lord Drazor too." Devon says

"This time, we will do it together." Obi-Wan says

"I was about to say that." Anakin says

Devon stood infront of Palpatine with Obi-Wan on his left and Anakin on his right, each ready for their duel with the two villains. Dooku leaps down from the balcony with a somersault and unclipped his curved lightsaber from the left-side of his waist while Lord Drazor jumps down with an inverted flip, landing crouched down on his right-knee and rising up on his feet.

"Get help. You're no match for them. They're a Sith Lord and Dark Keyblade Wielder." Palpatine says

"Chancellor Palpatine, Sith Lords are our specialty." Obi-Wan says

"And I can take Lord Drazor. I'm more than a match for him now." Devon says

Anakin and Obi-Wan remove their robes, dropping them onto the floor, and grab hold of their lightsabers.

"Your swords, please. We don't want to make a mess of things infront of the Chancellor." Dooku says

"Here's a better idea, Dooku. Why don't you surrender your lightsaber, release the Chancellor, and you turn yourself over to the Republic?" Devon says

"Now, Devon, where would the fun in that be?" Dooku says

"You won't get away this time, Dooku." Obi-Wan says

"It is you who won't leave this room... alive." Lord Drazor says

Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan draw their weapons as does Dooku with his red lightsaber and Lord Drazor with his Dark Keyblade: Fear's Shadow and the two sides prepared themselves for their second duel.

Dooku knocks Obi-Wan's lightsaber away as he attacked first, then parries Anakin as he swung his blue lightsaber with a left slash. The Sith Lord switches back and forth between the two Jedi, spinning around and holding his curved red lightsaber infront of him and behind his back as Obi-Wan moved around and attacked the old man from behind while Anakin attacked from the front, parrying their blows with his mastery of Makashi.

Lord Drazor swings Fear's Shadow with a reverse roundhouse slash as he dashes forward at Devon, who leans his whole body back, dodging the Dark Keyblade's teeth as it swoops only inches above him. Then, the Dark Knight attacks with an uppercut slash, a left slash, and a right-diagonal slash, while Devon parries the blows by holding Soul Calibur in opposite of him. Devon swings Fear's Shadow away to the left and strikes back with a right and left-upward slash, and a roundhouse slash, each of which is blocked. Devon retreats back to the two Jedi as they stood off against the Sith Lord and the Dark Knight.

"I've been looking forward to this." Dooku says smiling

"My powers have doubled since the last time we met, Count." Anakin says

"Good. Twice the pride, double the fall." Dooku says

The two sides continued their duel across the observation deck with Obi-Wan attacking first again, swinging his lightsaber down at Dooku. Anakin followed his master's lead and swung his lightsaber down on the Sith Lord as well. Dooku knocks Obi-Wan's blade away to the right as he thrusts his blue lightsaber at him, then holds his red lightsaber over his head, catching both of their blows and putting them into a blade lock. It was brief, however, as Dooku thrusts his left-hand at Obi-Wan, sending him away with a telekinetic blast so he could focus on Anakin while Lord Drazor focused on Devon. Ducking under a fierce left slash from Anakin, Dooku leads the Jedi Knight up the stairs to the balcony and continued parrying his blows as Anakin attacks with a left, right, downward, countering with two strikes, which the Jedi Knight blocked by holding his lightsaber horizontally to the left, and blocking another right slash from Anakin.

Devon thrusts Soul Calibur at Lord Drazor, who knocks the crystal Keyblade away with a left strike, but follows up with a reverse roundhouse slash and a spinning left-kick. Lord Drazor blocks the first strike, ducks down as he dodges the kick, parries a downward slash from Soul Calibur, holding Fear's Shadow to the right with both hands, and leans his body to the left, dodging an uppercut slash, then backflips up onto the balcony with Devon leaping up after him with a somersault.

Obi-Wan heads up the left staircase and deflects the blaster bolts of the two super battle droids as they fired their wrist blasters at him. The Jedi Master redirects a red bolt at one of the battle droids, hitting it in the chest, then quickly slices up the other one by twirling his lightsaber in his right-hand, cutting off the droid's right-arm and leg before finishing it off with a right slash at its waist, slicing the battle droid in half.

"Get-" Palpatine says

After dealing with the super battle droids, Obi-Wan went to attack Dooku from the front with an overhead strike while Anakin attacked from behind with an overhead strike of his own. However, the Sith Lord caught both their blades as he stepped over to the right. Swinging the two blue lightsabers away, he kicked Anakin away with his left-foot, knocking him down towards the doorway leading to the turbolifts, and lifted up Obi-Wan by his throat using the Force through his left-hand and held him in mid-air as he choked him. Swinging his hand to the side, Dooku sends the Jedi Master flying into a platform, slamming his back against the railing. Obi-Wan falls onto the floor, landing unconscious on his right-side. Dooku lowers his offhand and drops the platform over the lower half of Obi-Wan's body, incapacitating him even further.

Devon was currently in a blade lock with Lord Drazor, holding Soul Calibur diagonally downward to the left, when he glanced back over his left-shoulder and saw what happened to Obi-Wan. Turning back toward Lord Drazor, he saw him swinging Fear's Shadow with a right-downward slash. Devon held Soul Calibur with both hands opposite of Lord Drazor, blocking his Dark Keyblade as it struck his with a loud clang, then thrusts his left-hand forward as he pushes him a few feet away with a telekinetic blast. Turning around to his left, Devon goes after Dooku and dashes toward him with a spinning left slash, only to be caught by the red lightsaber as Dooku held it vertically. The Sith Lord shoves the crystal Keyblade away to the left and goes to strike Devon with a right-downward slash, but the young teen quickly held up Soul Calibur to the right, parrying the blow. He follows up with an uppercut slash, an over and under strike, a twisting left slash and a right slash, but Dooku parries each blow thrown at him.

Rising up onto his feet, Anakin runs to Devon's aid and kicks Dooku over the balcony's railing with his left-foot and jumps down with a somersault to engage him. Devon and Lord Drazor circled around each other on the balcony as they clashed Keyblades, exchanging blows. After striking the Dark Knight with a left slash, which he blocks, Devon kicks him off the balcony down toward Anakin and Dooku, then cartwheels over the railing, joining Anakin's left-side as they both attacked Lord Drazor and Dooku together with fast, swift attacks, switching opponents every now and then. The two heroes soon clashed against the two villains with their weapons caught in a blade lock, Anakin against Dooku, and Devon against Lord Drazor.

"I sense great fear in you, Skywalker. You have hate. You have anger. But you don't use them." Dooku says

Anakin and Devon both shove the two villains back and attacked again. This time, Anakin attacks Dooku with rage and hatred, tapping into the Dark Side of the Force and raining down fast, heavy strikes against him. Dooku was barely able to lift his arms to defend against Anakin's powerful strikes, let alone fight back. Anakin continued striking Dooku with a flurry of attacks, swinging his lightsaber over and under at different angles until he overpowered the old man's defenses, grabs the hilt of his red lightsaber and cuts off both his hands. Dooku gasps in shock. Catching the curved lightsaber in his offhand, the Jedi Knight held both blades in a scissor arc toward the Sith Lord's neck as he fell onto his knees.

Devon held off his own against Lord Drazor, swinging his crystal Keyblade down on the Dark Knight again and again at least three times, while he parried in defense. Then, he swings four quick cross slashes at Lord Drazor, swinging Soul Calibur left and right, but he blocks them too. Devon spins around and tries to kick Lord Drazor in the head with his right-foot, but he ducks down. Devon swings Soul Calibur with right-downward slash at Lord Drazor, who blocks with Fear's Shadow held opposite, then swings the Dark Keyblade away to the left and quickly delivers a reverse roundhouse kick to Lord Drazor's chest with his right-foot, knocking him down to the floor on his back. He points Soul Calibur down at the Dark Knight, then glances back over his left-shoulder at Anakin, watching him with Dooku at his mercy.

"Good, Anakin. Good." Palpatine says

Palpatine chuckles, then tells Anakin to do something that neither he, Dooku, nor Devon would ever expect.

"Kill him." Palpatine says

Dooku looks at the Chancellor pleadingly, only to be met with a sinister smile from Palpatine.

"Kill him now." Palpatine says

Dooku looks back at Anakin, who was hesitant, knowing that the Jedi code forbids the killing of an unarmed opponent.

"I shouldn't." Anakin says

A frown formed on Palpatine's face and he goaded Anakin on, urging him to execute the Sith Lord.

"Do it." Palpatine says in a demanding voice

After four seconds of hesitation, Anakin succumbs to his anger and desire for revenge and viciously decapitates the helpless Dooku, whose body falls to the floor and whose head rolls off to the side like a bowling ball. Anakin sheathes the two lightsabers in his hands and exhales, immediately regretting the decision he made. Devon gasps and his eyes widened, shocked as he watched Dooku fall. While the Keyblade Wielder was distracted, Lord Drazor sinks into a dark pool on the floor and disappears. Devon looks down to where Lord Drazor once was and saw that he was gone. He sighs, de-summons his Keyblade from his right-hand and heads over to Anakin and Palpatine.

"You did well, Anakin. He was too dangerous to be kept alive." Palpatine says

Anakin and Devon walks over and frees the Chancellor from his chair.

"Yes, but he was an unarmed prisoner. I shouldn't have done that. It's not the Jedi way." Anakin says

"It is only natural. He cut off your arm and you wanted revenge. It isn't the first time, Anakin. Remember what you told me about your mother and the Sand People?" Palpatine says

Anakin remembers well about what happened that day when his mother was killed by the Tusken Raiders on Tatooine and how he slaughtered them for revenge. Even Devon remembers about that tragic day. The shouting of the Tusken Raiders echoed faintly in their minds. They soon quickly focused on the task at hand.

"Now we must leave before more security droids arrive." Palpatine says

Palpatine proceeds toward the stairs to leave the room when he stops and turns and glances back at Devon and Anakin on his right as they rush over to help Obi-Wan, who was still unconscious. Stretching his right-hand, Devon lifts up the torn platform slightly, allowing Anakin to pull his master out from underneath.

"Anakin, Devon, there's no time. We must get off this ship before it's too late." Palpatine says

Anakin rolls his Jedi Master onto his back and check his vitals, relieved that he was still alive.

"He seems to be alright." Anakin says

"Leave him or we'll never make it." Palpatine says

"His fate will be the same as ours." Anakin says

Just as the heroes were preparing to make their escape, the Invisible Hand was intercepted by the Venator-class Star Destroyer Guarlara, as it came up along its starboard side.

"Prepare for attack!" Grievous commands

"All batteries, fire! Fire!" Lushros commands

The Invisible Hand and the Guarlara both engage in a broadside battle, exchanging turbolaser fire and the two ships took extensive damage from one another with casualties on both sides.

---

With Anakin carrying Obi-Wan on his back, he, Devon, and Palpatine come up to the turbolifts, only to discover that none of them was no longer functional.

"Elevator's not working." Anakin says

"Try and contact R2 and T7. Maybe they can get it working again." Devon says

Anakin nods his head and takes out his comlink in his right-hand, contacting the two astromech droids in the hangar.

"R2, activate elevator 3224." Anakin says

In the hangar, R2 and T7 began rolling back toward the terminal to plug into the ship's network. But before the astromech droids could proceed to aid their masters, one the Guarlara's heavy cannons strikes one of the Invisible Hand's mass-driver cannons, which resulted in the destruction of a magazine of proton bombs, and sent the flagship into an uncontrolled, complete vertical nose dive toward Coruscant with smoke and flames trailing from its starboard hull. The ship's angle causes R2 and T7 roll backwards away from the terminal.

---

Feeling the changing shift in the Invisible Hand's angle, Devon stretches his hands out towards the doors of the elevator shaft and spreading them apart, telekinetically forcing the shaft open with the Force. Then, he, Anakin and Palpatine climb into it as the ship's angle shifts downward.

---

In the bridge, many essential systems of the dreadnought began to fail and crew of the flagship attempted to regain control.

"Reverse stabilizers." Lushros says

"Reversing stabilizers." OOM pilot battle droid #1 says

---

Devon, Anakin, and Palpatine directly travel down the elevator shaft, running as fast as they could along its length, while in the hangar, R2 and T7 fell over on their backs, squealing.

---

"Magnetize! Magnetize!" Lushros says

Pressing some buttons on the displays, the crew magnetically attach their feet to the floor.

---

R2 and T7 slide down the hangar floor and eventually crash into a pile of battle droid pieces. The three Eta-2 interceptors crash onto the hangar wall and barely misses them.

---

Back on the bridge, Grievous commands the flight crew to activate the dreadnought's reserve engines.

"Fire the emergency booster engines!" Grievous commands

The crew engages the booster engines of the dreadnought and the Invisible Hand regains stability and returns to a level position.

"We're leveling out, sir." OOM pilot battle droid #1 says

---

Now that the ship was leveled out, Devon, Anakin, and Palpatine began sliding and falling down the shaft until the Keyblade Wielder and Jedi Knight manage to grab hold of some thick wires. Chancellor Palpatine quickly grabs Devon's right-leg as he holds on. Obi-Wan soon regains consciousness and quickly wraps his arms around Anakin's shoulders.

"Easy. We're in a bit of a situation here." Anakin says

"Did I miss something?" Obi-Wan asks

"Eh... Not much." Devon says

"Hold on." Anakin says

As they were hanging in the elevator shaft, the heroes noticed something descending down from above.

"What's that?" Obi-Wan asks

"Uh... Oops." Anakin says

It was the dysfunctional turbolift, plummeting straight down towards them. Anakin believed it was a miscommunication from R2 and quickly takes out his comlink in his left-hand, trying to contact his droid in the hangar for assistance.

"R2. R2, shut down the elevator." Anakin says

"Too late! Jump!" Obi-Wan says

With no time and little choice, Devon and Anakin release their grip on the wires and they all fall down the elevator shaft. During their fall, Anakin and Obi-Wan take out long, durable cables with grappling hooks attaches and throw them onto a passing metal beam in the shaft. They swing out of the shaft through an open elevator door into another hallway and fall onto the floor, narrowly avoiding the speeding turbolift behind them as it continues its descent.

"Let's see if we can find something in the hangar that's still flyable." Obi-Wan says

Anakin takes out his comlink and contacts the two astromech droids to meet them.

"R2, get down here." Anakin says

---

In the hangar, Anakin's transmission echoed through R2's comlink, but his voice was muffled underneath the pile of broken droid parts.

"R2, do you copy?" Anakin says

A blue and silver periscope from R2 and T7 rise up from the droid pile as they chirp and beep and the two astromech droids emerge out of the pile as they head out of the hangar to meet up with their masters.

---

In the bridge, an OOM pilot battle droid approaches Grievous as he wheezes and coughs, reporting the location of the heroes.

"General, we found the Keyblade Wielder and the Jedi. They're in hallway 328." OOM pilot battle droid #3 says

"Activate ray shields." Grievous commands

---

Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan were running through the metal hallway with Palpatine when white wavy lights drop down from a projector in the ceiling and surrounds them, forcing them to stop. These were ray shields, a force field that absorbs radiation and raw energy.

"What's this?" Devon asks

"Ray shields." Anakin says

"Wait a minute. How did this happen? We're smarter than this." Obi-Wan asks

"Apparently not. I say patience." Anakin says

"Patience?" Obi-Wan asks crossing his arms

"Yes. R2 and T7 will be along in a few moments and then... they'll release the ray shields." Anakin says

As if on cue, R2 and T7 came screeching into the hallway from a separate doorway on the right and they both bumped into the wall near another doorway and into each other.

"See? No problem." Anakin says

Droidekas come rolling in and unfold into attack mode, aiming their dual blasters at the Keyblade Wielder and two Jedi, while a few B1 and B2 super battle droids entered the hallway from both ends of the hallway, including the doorway that the two astromech droids stood nearby.

"Don't move." Super battle droid #3 says

R2 uses his droid shock arm on the super battle droid, shocking his right wrist blaster.

"Ow!" Super battle droid #3 yelps

The super battle droid kicks R2 with its right-foot, knocking him down onto his back. Now, the hallway was filled with dozens of battle droids on both sides as they closed in on the heroes.

"Do you have a plan 'B'?" Obi-Wan asks in a sarcastic voice

---

Having been captured, Devon, Anakin, Obi-Wan, R2, T7, and Palpatine were brought onto the bridge with their hands restrained behind their backs with Stuncuffs or binders. Grievous turned to his right and greeted his guests as they were brought forward.

"Ah, yes. The negotiator. General Kenobi. We've been waiting for you." Grievous says

An OOM command battle droid moves past the heroes, holding Anakin and Obi-Wan's lightsabers in his right-hand.

"Excuse me." OOM command battle droid #2 says

"That wasn't much of a rescue." Grievous says

Grievous takes the Jedi's lightsabers from the command battle droid, snatching them out of its hand.

"You're welcome." OOM command battle droid #2 says

"And..." Grievous says

The cyborg coughs before speaking again.

"...Anakin Skywalker. I was expecting someone of your reputation to be a little... older." Grievous says

"General Grievous. You're shorter than I expected." Anakin says

Grievous coughs.

"Jedi scum!" Grievous says

"We have a job to do, Anakin. Try not to upset him." Obi-Wan says

Grievous then directs his attention toward Devon on his right.

"And you must be... the Legendary Keyblade Master. I've been looking forward to the day when we would meet face-to-face. Your reputation precedes you. Although I have fought many Jedi, but I've never had the pleasure of fighting a Keyblade Wielder..." Grievous says

The Kaleesh cyborg cackles.

"He he he ha ha ha... Let alone kill one. Perhaps you will be the first." Grievous says

"Don't get your hopes up, Grievous." Devon says

Grievous cackles some more as he stares long at Devon, then looks over at Anakin and Obi-Wan as he held up their lightsabers in his left-hand.

"Your lightsabers will make a fine addition to my collection." Grievous says placing the silver weapons into empty sheath pockets inside the right-side of his dark grey cloak

"Not this time. And this time, you won't escape." Obi-Wan says

"R2." Anakin says

"T7." Devon says

R2 and T7 both open all their sockets and compartments, beeping, chirping, whistling, and squealing as they distracted the guards with all their tools. Obi-Wan turns his back around and telekinetically pulls his lightsaber from Grievous' cloak back into his right-hand and ignites it, cutting through his binders and breaking free. He then frees Anakin from his restraints, who also Force-pulls his lightsaber from Grievous' cloak and cuts Devon, who summons Soul Calibur into his right-hand.

"Crush them! Make them suffer!" Grievous says

Grievous' MagnaGuards IG-101, 102, and 103 step forward, activating their electrostaffs, which emit purple electricity along both transparent ends, and engage the Jedi and the Keyblade Wielder. IG-101 focuses on Obi-Wan as he descends down to the front of the bridge, IG-102 breaks off and focuses on Anakin as he backs up to the bridge's entrance, and IG-103 as he approaches Devon, twirling his electrostaff in his right-hand.

"Oh, yeah? Well, two can play that game!" Devon says

Pulling his left-hand back and holding Soul Calibur horizontally infront of him in his right-hand, Devon switches the Formchange of his crystal Keyblade, changing it into its Crystal Staff form in a flash of blue light. He twirls his staff in his hand, then gets into battle stance, holding Soul Calibur with both hands on his right-side and pointing the winged, six-pointed crown head at the MagnaGuard. IG-103 attacks first by thrusting his electrostaff at Devon, aiming for his chest, but the young teen catches the tip with his staff and swings it away to the right. Launching a counterattack, Devon goes for a left strike, but IG-103 quickly held his electrostaff vertically in defense, then swings a right strike at the Keyblade Wielder, who leans his body back and evades the purple electric tip as it narrowly misses his face.

While the Keyblade Wielder and the two Jedi fought off against the three MagnaGuards, two security battle droids drag the still cuffed Palpatine away from the bridge, retreating towards the door, while Grievous shoves his way past two other security battle droids around the front of the bridge.

"Come! Now!" Security battle droid #4 says

"Stay at your stations!" Grievous commands

IG-101 thrusts his electrostaff at Obi-Wan, who blocks and swings the staff over to the left against the bridge console and quickly decapitates the MagnaGuard's head with a right slash. But even without his head, the bodyguard droid continues the fight with a third red photoreceptor in his chest, twirling his electrostaff around with a one-hand hold in his right-hand and attacking Obi-Wan with a wave-front attack while he parries his blows.

Anakin parries the electrostaff from IG-102 and manages to find an opening. He slices the MagnaGuard in half across the hips with a right slash, causing him to fall with a muffled electronic scream, then destroys the two security battle droids that held Palpatine captive with an upward and downward slash as they screamed.

Obi-Wan continued to parry IG-101's blows as he gained more ground, but he soon exploited the repetitive nature of his attack and found an opening. With a left slash, the Jedi Master pierces through the droid's guard and simultaneously slices his weapon arm and cleaves the MagnaGuard in half across the chest. IG-101 still standing body literally falls to pieces with a metallic groan, even as he feebly grasps at Obi-Wan with his extended left-hand.

On Devon's side, the Keyblade Wielder parried IG-103's electrostaff with both ends of his crystal staff, holding it at opposing angles as the MagnaGuard constantly twirled it around in his right-hand. Eventually, he catches the electrostaff with the head of his staff and swings it over and away to the left, throwing IG-103 off guard. Then, he hits him with a backflip kick to the head through his right-foot and slices the droid's head off with a right strike from the head of his staff, then slices him in half across the waist with a left strike from the other end of his staff.

Even without his MagnaGuards, Grievous refused to accept defeat and moves around the middle section of the bridge orders the droid flight crew to remain at their posts.

"Don't bother with them! Keep the ship in orbit!" Grievous commands

"Yes, sir." OOM pilot battle droid #4 says

After dealing with the MagnaGuards, Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan turn their attention to the droid pilots, cutting them down with their weapons, then they close in Grievous, who jumps down to the front of the bridge. The heroes surround him with Obi-Wan infront of him, Anakin behind him, and Devon on the right as he jumps up onto the center console, pointing his Crystal Staff at the Kaleesh cyborg and holding it with both hands at his right-side.

"End of the line, Grievous. You got nowhere to run. Why don't you make it easier on yourself and surrender while you can?" Devon says

"I think not, Keyblade Wielder. You lose!" Grievous says

Turning to the bridge viewport on his left, Grievous throws the electrostaff against the glass, causing it to crack and shatter. Everyone quickly gripped the surface of the bridge while Grievous allowed himself to be sucked out into space. Atmospheric armor plating sealed the breached areas of the viewport and the three heroes landed on their feet, sighing with relief. Using a grappling cable attached to his right-arm, Grievous latches himself to the ship's hull and re-enters through a dorsal hatch, landing crouched down near the escape pods. The Neimoidians and OOM pilot battle droids quickly abandoned the bridge while Devon, Anakin, and Obi-Wan cut down some more pilot droids with their weapons.

The Invisible Hand's hull began to sag under pressure from Coruscant's gravity well. Inside the safety of his escape pod, Grevious cackles as he proceeds to scuttle the dreadnought.

"Time to abandon ship." Grievous says

The Kaleesh cyborg presses some buttons on the nearby panel on his right and all the escape pods are jettisoned one by one from the Invisible Hand. In his pod, Grievous cackles and coughs as he flies toward the nearby Trade Federation Lucrehulk-class battleship, Profusion.

Back on the bridge, the Keyblade Wielder and the two Jedi noticed on the ship's displays that escape pods were jettisoned, leaving them stranded on the crippled flagship.

"All the escape pods have been launched." Anakin says

"Grievous." Devon says in a low voice

"Can you fly a cruiser like this?" Obi-Wan says

"You mean do I know how to land what's left of this thing?" Anakin says

"Well?" Obi-Wan asks

"Well, under the circumstances, I'd say the ability to pilot this thing is irrelevant. Strap yourselves in." Anakin says

With no other alternative to escape the Invisible Hand, Anakin and Obi-Wan decide to guide the dreadnought down to the Galactic City. The two Jedi sit down on the lowest level of the bridge and take to the controls while Devon and Palpatine strapped themselves to their seats behind them. R2 stood next to the Chancellor on his right while T7 stayed close to the Keyblade Wielder on his left, both droids squeaking and whistling nervously.

"Open all hatches. Extend all flaps and drag fins." Anakin says

Anakin and Obi-Wan press on some buttons on the terminals and extend the flaps and fins of the flagship, but it did little to help slow their descent. Losing structural integrity, the entire rear half of the ship's aft tears off from the atmospheric stress and the damage sustained from the battle.

"Uh-oh." R2 and T7 beep in unison

"We lost something." Anakin says

"Not to worry. We are still flying half a ship." Obi-Wan says

The flagship began its meteoric plunge toward Coruscant, entering the planet's atmosphere with flames surrounding the entire half of the dreadnought.

"Now we're really picking up speed." Anakin says

"Eight plus 60. We're in the atmosphere." Obi-Wan says

"Grab that. Keep us level." Anakin says pointing to a lever on his left with his right-hand

Devon watched as the two Jedi struggled to fly the ship safely and a serious expression formed on his face. Unstrapping himself from his seat, Devon rises and stands up straight.

"Devon? What are you doing?" Anakin asks looking back briefly over his left-shoulder

"Easing our flight." Devon says

Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, the Keyblade Wielder brings his hands close to his chest and cups them together, calling upon the light in his heart and the Force. The rumbling sounds of the ship's flight fades from Devon's hearing until he heard ony his calm breaths and his voice as it echoed around him.

"I am one with the Force... and the Force is with me." Devon chants

A small blue light appears between Devon's hands and it steadily grows in size, glowing brighter and brighter by the minute. Soon, the Keyblade Wielder spreads his arms and hands out with a blue light emitting from his open palms, and the same light spreads from the bridge throughout the Invisible Hand, surrounding the entire ship in a protective aura and attempting to slow the ship's descent, replacing the fiery red of the flames with the dazzling blue of his light. Devon opened up his eyes, grunting as he struggled to maintain control over the large amount of magic. Anakin and Obi-Wan watched in amazement, but focuses on controlling the ship.

"Steady." Obi-Wan says

R2 beeps and whistles excitingly, drawing Anakin's attention for a brief moment.

"Easy, R2." Anakin says

As the dreadnaught continues its descent, several F-143 emergency fire speeders from the Coruscant Rescue Ops of Fire Team Three fly up along both sides of the Invisible Hand and doused the burning hull with water and foam to reduce the flames. These red and white ships had an ablative cockpit canopy, a repulsorlift generator engine unit, tanks of foam and water on the ship's undercarriage, flashing exterior emergency lights, a medical bay interior, and four wings, each one equipped with four pressurized sprayers controlled from the front cockpit.

"5000. Fire ships on the left and the right." Obi-Wan says

"We'll take you in." The Fire Team Captain says

"Copy that." Obi-Wan says

Soon, the flagship began its approach toward a clear runway strip of an abandoned industrial zone.

"Landing strip, straight ahead." Obi-Wan says pointing ahead with his right-index finger

"We're coming in too hot!" Anakin says

"Brace yourselves! This is going to get rough!" Devon yells

Within moments, the ventral side of the Invisible Hand's hull touches down against the surface of the landing strip, screeching loudly as it slides across the long runway. Inside the bridge, the heroes feel the sudden bump of the ship's landing and both R2 and T7 squeal. The Invisible Hand smashes into a radar tower on its left, knocking it down and destroying it as it fell over. Eventually, the wrecked ship slows down and skids to a stop. Anakin and Obi-Wan lean back against their seats while Devon breathes a sigh of relief as he slumps and leans his right-arm against Obi-Wan's seat, tired from the extensive use of his magic and the Force.

"Another happy landing." Obi-Wan says smiling

Author's Note: And there you have it. Devon returns on his third visit to Distant Galaxy, journeying into Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Our Keyblade Wielder reunites with Anakin and Obi-Wan, meets Commander Rex, reunites with Ahsoka Tano, though only briefly, and he even gets his own astromech droid, T7-13, a custom OC character from Star Wars: The Old Republic. Now, Count Dooku is dead, and Chancellor Palpatine is safe and sound. Time to celebrate with the politicians! Grevious escapes, but our heroes will find him. To D-Dawg (guest), you're doing it again with all the repetitive reviews. To anonymous (guest), in regards to the recent Dream Eater list, seeing as how we're getting close to the end of Paths of Destiny, I don't think it's really necessary at this point. Plus, they didn't hold any interest. You have given me much to work with and I thank you. Now in terms of Ahsoka, she will mostly follow the plot of the siege of Mandalore arc during Devon's visit in Revenge of the Sith, but I'll be sure to include some scenes and conversations with the characters on both sides. And to everyone else, I apologize for the long wait. This was a very big chapter to work on and I've been dealing with a lot of stress at home and at work. Plus, I haven't been feeling well these past few days so there's that. Nothing COVID-19 related, I assure you. Anyway, let me know what you guys think. No flames please.
