On Coruscant, in the Chancellor's secretariat underneath the Galactic Senate Chamber, the newly christened Emperor Palpatine sat at his desk with Vice Chair Mas Amedda on his left and Lord Thanatos, the Dark Keyblade Master on his right when they recieved a transmission from the fallen Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and Lord Drazor, the Dark Knight with their holograms appearing on the grey desk from a holoprojector as they report the completion of their mission.
"The Separatists have been taken care of, Masters." Anakin says
"It is finished then. You have restored peace and justice to the galaxy." Palpatine says
On the other side of the Distant Galaxy, Anakin and Lord Drazor stood infront of one of the two holotables, which showed the headshot holograms of Palpatine and Lord Thanatos.
"Send a message to the ships of the Trade Federation. All droid units must shut down immediately." Palpatine says
"Very good, my lord." Anakin says
The transmission ends and the holograms of the two villains fade away. Suddenly, a beeping was heard inside the command center, attracting the attention of the two villains as they turned their heads left. The sound came from one of facility's security sensors, which tracked Padmé's J-type Naboo star skiff on the red monitor as it finally arrives on the volcanic planet.
The chromium starship flies across the black and red surface of Mustafar and touches down on a landing platform outside the Klegger Corp Mining Facility, different from the one Anakin used. In the cockpit, Padmé placed her left-hand on the temple of her head, still in disbelief over what she heard from Devon and Obi-Wan. Then, she looks out the viewport and saw Anakin as he stood out on a walkway of the facility. The fallen Jedi pulls back his hood and quickly made his way over to the landing platform while the Naboo Senator opens up the hatch of the star skiff and ran out to meet him. Anakin arrives on the platform just as Padmé quickly descends down the ramp of her starship.
"I saw your ship." Anakin says
Anakin and Padmé hug each other for a good five seconds before they pull apart.
"What are you doing out here?" Anakin asks
"I was so worried about you. Obi-Wan and Devon told me terrible things." Padmé says
"What things?" Anakin asks
"They said you've turned to the Dark Side. That you... killed younglings." Padmé says
Anakin just smiled, not denying anything.
"Obi-Wan and Devon are trying to turn you against me." Anakin says
"They care about us." Padmé says
"Us?" Anakin asks
"He knows. Obi-Wan. He and Devon, they want to help you. Anakin, all I want is your love." Padmé says
"Love won't save you, Padmé. Only my new powers can do that." Anakin says
"At what cost? You're a good person. Don't do this." Padmé says
"I won't lose you the way I lost my mother. I am becoming more powerful than any Jedi has ever dreamed of. I'm even just as powerful as Devon is. And I'm doing it for you. To protect you." Anakin says
"Come away with me. Help me raise our child. Leave everything else behind while we still can." Padmé says placing her hands on Anakin's head
"Don't you see? We don't have to run away anymore. I have brought peace to the Republic. I am more powerful than the Chancellor. I-I can overthrow him and Lord Thanatos. And together, you and I can rule the galaxy. Make things the way we want them to be." Anakin says
Padmé stares at Anakin in shock as she saw the crazed smile and mad obsession of power in his face. It turns out Devon and Obi-Wan were actually telling the truth. Anakin really has fallen to the Dark Side. Slowly, the Naboo Senator backs away from the fallen Jedi, shaking her head.
"I don't believe what I'm hearing. Obi-Wan and Devon were right. You've changed." Padmé says
The fallen Jedi started to become frustrated and looks away for a moment before turning back and facing his wife.
"I don't want to hear any more about Obi-Wan or Devon. The Jedi and the Keyblade Wielder turned against me. Don't you turn against me." Anakin says pointing his right-hand at Padmé
"I don't know you anymore. Anakin, you're breaking my heart. You're going down a path I can't follow." Padmé says with a broken voice
"Because of Obi-Wan and Devon?" Anakin says
"Because of what you've done. What you plan to do." Padmé says
While she was still talking, Anakin looks up toward the chromium starship and saw Devon and Obi-Wan standing at the top of the boarding ramp. The Keyblade Wielder had his arms crossed and his former Jedi Master had his hands at his waist.
"Stop! Stop now! Come back! I love you!" Padmé says
An enraged look forms on Anakin's face and he paces left and right, casting a nasty glare at Padmé.
"Liar!" Anakin yells
Padmé glances back at Devon and Obi-Wan as they descend down the ramp and a horrified expression came upon her face.
"No!" Padmé says shaking her head
"You're with them! You brought them here to kill me!" Anakin yells
"No!" Padmé exclaims
Without even giving Padmé a chance to explain herself, Anakin lifts his right-hand up and begins to choke his former lover through the Force, while she grabs hold of her throat with both hands.
"Anakin, stop!" Devon yells
"Let her go, Anakin!" Obi-Wan yells
Anakin continues to choke Padmé, even as she pleads for him to stop with her gasping breath.
"Anakin." Padmé gasps
"Let... her... go." Obi-Wan says
Anakin soon releases Padmé and she gasps, collapsing onto the platform on her left-side and falling unconscious, much to Devon's horror as his eyes widened and a gasp escaped his breath. Anakin looks down at his former lover, then shifts his gaze toward Devon and Obi-Wan.
"You turned her against me!" Anakin says
Shifting their gaze from Padmé, the Keyblade Wielder and Jedi Master look up at the fallen Jedi.
"You have done that yourself." Obi-Wan says
Anakin paces back and forth on the platform, dropping his brown cloak as he casts an enraged glare at his former friends.
"You will not take her from me!" Anakin yells
"Your anger and lust for power have already done that." Obi-Wan says dropping his brown cloak onto the platform, leaving him with just his white Jedi attire
The three warriors circled each other with Devon, Obi-Wan, and Anakin walking to their right.
"You've allowed these Dark Lords to twist your mind until now... until now you have become the very thing you swore to destroy." Obi-Wan says
"Don't lecture me, Obi-Wan. I see through the lies of the Jedi. I do not fear the Dark Side as you and Devon do." Anakin says
"Because you let it consume you, Anakin. The Dark Side has blackened your heart and corrupted your soul." Devon says
"The Jedi betrayed me. They betrayed the Republic. They had it coming. All this time, they had sought to seize control over the Republic, but I stopped their plans." Anakin says
"Is that what Palpatine told you? Anakin, Palpatine's a Sith Lord, the very evil we've been fighting since the start of this war. He's the one trying to take control, not us! Palpatine's just using you, Anakin, just as he's been using all of us!" Devon says
"Wrong, Devon! The Jedi have used me, from the very beginning, but no more! I have achieved what they could not!" Anakin says
As Anakin turns his back toward them, Devon and Obi-Wan reach Padmé and they kneel down to check on her. The Keyblade Wielder grabs hold of her right-hand with his while the Jedi Master places his right-hand over her head.
"I have brought peace, freedom, justice and security to the galaxy. And soon, I will overthrow the Emperor and take control and it shall thrive under my rule as my new empire." Anakin says
Devon and Obi-Wan rise back up and look at Anakin with flabbergasted expressions. They could not believe what they were hearing.
"Your new empire?" Obi-Wan says
"You really have gone insane." Devon says
The fallen Jedi was now fuming at this point and he threatened his former friends.
"Don't make me kill you." Anakin says
"Anakin, our allegiance is to the Republic, to democracy!" Obi-Wan says
"Everything we have done, Anakin, we have done for the greater good of the people. For the safety and well-being of every living being in the Universe." Devon says
"If you are not with me, then you are my enemy." Anakin says
The Keyblade Wielder and Jedi Master stared at the fallen Jedi. It was clear at this point that Anakin would not listen to reason. Now, they were left with no other choice.
"Only a Sith deals in absolutes. I will do what I must." Obi-Wan says
Obi-Wan draws his lightsaber from the left-side of his belt while Devon got into his stance.
"You will try." Anakin says
"And you will fail." A dark voice says
Appearing from nowhere, Lord Drazor drops down and lands crouched down next to Anakin on his right, then rises up to face the two heroes. Devon summons his Keyblade: Soul Calibur in his right-hand and Obi-Wan ignites his lightsaber, ready to face the Dark Keyblade Wielder and the fallen Jedi. Anakin quickly draws his lightsaber and ignites it, leaping towards his former master with a backflip while Lord Drazor dashes forward at Devon, summoning Fear's Shadow into his right-hand and pulling it across his left-side. Devon and Obi-Wan held their Keyblade and lightsaber up in defense and both sides clashed as the epic duel commenced.
Anakin and Lord Drazor both unleashed a flurry of rapid strikes, twisting and turning their weapons over and under left and right, while Devon and Obi-Wan parried their blows, spinning around and swinging their blades away, matching their speed and filling the air with the clanging sounds of the Keyblade and the clash of the lightsaber. The fallen Jedi and the Dark Knight quickly gained ground as they advanced and drove the young teen and Jedi Master towards the edge of the platform.
Devon swung Fear's Shadow away to the right and leaps over Lord Drazor with an inverted flip, landing on the bridge to the antechamber that led into the command center and swinging Soul Calibur with a right slash using both hands. Lord Drazor twists his body to the left, holding his Dark Keyblade vertically to parry the blow, then holds it horizontally to the right above his head, blocking an overhead strike from Devon, and counters with a right slash as he spins around, which Devon parries holding his crystal Keyblade vertically to the right. The Dark Knight attacks the young teen with a thrusting strike aimed at his stomach, but Devon dodges with a small jump to right and knocks Fear's Shadow away with a left swing from Soul Calibur. Spinning his Dark Keyblade, Lord Drazor follows up with left slash, a downward and upward slash, and a reverse roundhouse slash, which Devon parries holding his crystal Keyblade opposite of him, and spins around countering with a roundhouse slash, causing Soul Calibur and Fear's Shadow to clash with a loud clang. Devon and Lord Drazor were now both caught in a blade lock, but only for a brief second as Lord Drazor shoves the crystal Keyblade upward and kicks Devon in the chest with his right-foot, sending him flying. The young teen catches himself with his hands as he flips backwards and lands crouched down back on his feet.
Obi-Wan swings Anakin's lightsaber upward as he breaks away and spins around to the left, striking back with a left slash. Anakin spins around to his left, parrying the blow behind his back, then counters with a left slash, which Obi-Wan parried as he worked around him. The fallen Jedi and his former Master exchanged blows, swinging their lightsabers up and down four times. Anakin brought his blade down on Obi-Wan, who blocks his blow holding his lightsaber horizontally to the left, then shoves his blade upwards, and kicks his former Master in the chest with his right-foot, sending him flying backwards. Obi-Wan recovers with a somersault and lands back on his feet next to Devon on his left.
In the Senate Building on Coruscant, Yoda strolls into the Emperor's secretariat as he confronts Palpatine and Lord Thanatos. Two Imperial Royal Guards, who wore flowing crimson robes, battle armor underneath a loose fitting tunic, and sleek scarlet masks with a black horizontal visor, stood at the door and pointed their force pikes at the green Jedi Master, but he casually Force pushes the guards against the sides of the doorway with a wave of his right-hand, rendering them unconscious. The Sith Lord turns his spinning chair to the left as he and the Dark Keyblade Master face Yoda while he turns to his right and faces them, sarcastically and mockingly addressing Palpatine.
"I hear a new apprentice you have, Emperor. Or should I call you Darth Sidious?" Yoda says
"Master Yoda. You survived." Palpatine says
"Surprised?" Yoda asks
"Your arrogance blinds you, Master Yoda. Now you will experience the full power of the Dark Side." Palpatine says
Lifting his hands up and stretching them out, the Sith Lord catches the green Jedi Master off guard and hurls a strong blast of Force lightning at him, striking Yoda directly in the chest and sending him flying across the room. Yoda slams into the wall on his back and rolls right across the floor three times before stopping flat on his stomach and momentarily losing consciousness.
Back on Mustafar, the duel between Devon, Obi-Wan, Lord Drazor and Anakin continued as they moved along the catwalks within the mining facility. The fallen Jedi and the Dark Knight advanced on the young teen and the Jedi Master with even more attacks.
Attacking his former Master, Anakin swings his lightsaber with an overhead strike, twists his body to the left with a left slash, then spins back around with a right slash, all of which is parried by Obi-Wan as he held his lightsaber up, down, and to his sides. Anakin follows up with three low angled strikes, turning his lightsaber over left and right, but Obi-Wan parries his blows and swings them away. Still pushing on the offensive, the fallen Jedi attacks with two more quick side strikes, then raises his lightsaber over his head for a downward slash. Obi-Wan parries the first two blows, spinning his lightsaber from side to side, raises his blade above his head to block the third, then turns his weapon over to the left as Anakin follows up with an under and over hand strike.
Focusing on the Keyblade Wielder, Lord Drazor attacks Devon with a left uppercut slash, four left and right slashes turning Fear's Shadow over one side to the other, a downward slash, and a reverse roundhouse slash. Devon holds Soul Calibur horizontally to the left parrying the first strike, holds his crystal Keyblade at his sides, turning left and right and matching the opposing angles of the Dark Keyblade, raises Soul Calibur left above his head in parrying the fifth strike, then quickly brings his Keyblade over to the right, blocking the sixth blow.
The fight soon brought the four warriors into a small antechamber outside the control room as they entered the main facility.
Obi-Wan held his lightsaber up to the right and turned it down to the left, parrying a downward strike and a right slash from Anakin before he swung his lightsaber with an right uppercut strike, knocking the Obi-Wan's energy blade away and causing him to spin around to the left.
Devon swung Soul Calibur at Lord Drazor with a left and downward slash, but the Dark Knight parried both strikes and countered with a low and high left slash that Devon knocked away and blocked. Lord Drazor advances on the young teen with two downward slashes and an upward strike, spinning Fear's Shadow in his right-hand, and follows up with a right slash. Devon holds up his crystal Keyblade horizontally to the left as he parries the two spinning strikes, but the third knocks Soul Calibur upward. He quickly recovers and brings his Keyblade over to the right, parrying the fourth blow, but was still sent staggering backwards as he spun around to the left, joining Obi-Wan's right-side.
The Keyblade Wielder and the Jedi Master backed away from the Dark Knight and the Sith Lord for a brief three seconds of respite until they immediately attacked again.
Anakin spun his lightsaber and swung down on Obi-Wan twice, then follows up with two more strikes, spinning his lightsaber behind his back, and a left slash as he spun around to the left followed by a right slash. Each blow dealt was parried as the Jedi Master turned his lightsaber left and right. The Sith Lord continues his assault with two right slashes, but the Jedi Master parries and swings his blade away to the left. Taking advantage of an opening in Anakin's offense, Obi-Wan seizes his left-hand and pulls him into an arm-lock, then swings his lightsaber down at the base of his neck. Anakin holds his lightsaber behind his back and blocks the strike, and quickly wrestled free from his hold.
Lord Drazor attacks Devon with another thrusting strike, lunging forward with Fear's Shadow, but the young teen catches the Dark Keyblade and swings it around and away to the right and counters with a reverse roundhouse slash. Lord Drazor turns and holds his Dark Keyblade down behind his back, blocking Devon's attack, then spins around with a left diagonal slash in retaliation.
Devon and Obi-Wan both retreated into the short hallway as Lord Drazor and Anakin came at them with more attacks. The Jedi and Sith were the first to enter the hallway followed by the two Keyblade Wielders. Their weapons created showers of sparks as they fought. Soon, they enter the command center and into the murder scene with the dead Separatists on the floor. Anakin shoves Obi-Wan to the left-side of the room while Devon jumps back to the right-side after dodging a right slash from Fear's Shadow aimed at his stomach.
Anakin raises his lightsaber over his right-shoulder and attacks with a left diagonal slash at the Jedi Master. Obi-Wan parries the blow and counters with a left slash, which the Sith Lord parries turning his blade over to the right. Anakin follows up with a downward slash, which Obi-Wan dodges leaning to the right, a thrusting strike, which is knocked away to the right, and a high left and right strike that Obi-Wan counters swinging Anakin's lightsaber into the control panel on his right.
Advancing on Devon, Lord Drazor attacks him with two left and right high and low, but is parried both times. The Dark Knight follows up with a left and right uppercut slash, four overhead strikes, and a reverse roundhouse slash. Devon leans his body from side to side, evading the first two strikes, then parries the other blows thrown at him, twisting and turning Soul Calibur left and right. Pulling Fear's Shadow back, the Dark Knight lunges forward at the Keyblade Wielder with a thrusting strike, aiming straight for his chest. Devon leans his body to the left and dodges the Dark Keyblade, then grabs Lord Drazor's hand and wrestles with him for a moment before swinging it over to the control panel on his left.
Returning to the Emperor's secretariat on Coruscant, Palpatine cackles as he and Lord Thanatos walk toward the prone Yoda while Vice Chair Mas Amedda leaves the room, knowing that a battle was imminent.
"He he he ha ha ha ha ha. I have waited a long time for this moment, my little green friend." Palpatine says
Palpatine cackles some more while Lord Thanatos stands quietly alongside him on his right. Yoda recovers and rises to his feet, pushing himself up as he turns and faces the two villains once more.
"At last, the Jedi are no more. And the Keyblade Wielder shall soon be next." Palpatine says
"Not if anything to say about it I have." Yoda says
Yoda thrusts his right-hand forward and hurls Palpatine back with a strong Force push that sent him flying across the room.
"Aaah!" Palpatine screams
The Sith Lord flies backwards over his desk and lands face first in his office chair, which topples over. Lord Thanatos was pushed back also, but he was stronger and more resistant to the telekinetic blast as he crosses his arms like an 'X' infront of him, sliding halfway only a couple feet away from the diminutive Jedi Master.
"At an end your rule is." Yoda says pointing at the villains with his right-hand
Palpatine rises up onto his feet as he leans against the wall with his right-hand while Lord Thanatos lowers his arms. Making his stand, Yoda extends his right-arm with his hand held under and pulls his other hand back to his side.
"And not short enough it was." Yoda says
Not wanting to take any risks at his moment of triumph, Palpatine attempts to flee, leaping over his desk and toward the exit with a somersault, but Yoda intercepts him with a leaping somersault of his own, landing infront of the open doorway and blocking the Sith Lord's path.
"If so powerful you are, why leave?" Yoda asks pulling back the left-side of his robe and drawing his lightsaber, twirling the hilt in his right-hand and igniting it with the green energy blade extending outward
"You will not stop me. Darth Vader will become more powerful than either of us." Palpatine says drawing another gold lightsaber from the sleeve of his robe into his right-hand and igniting it with the red energy blade extending outward
"Faith in your new apprentice, misplaced, may be. As is your faith in the Dark Side of the Force." Yoda says spinning his lightsaber and pointing it at the two villains before pulling it to his right-side with both hands
Lord Thanatos walks up and moves around behind Palpatine, taking his stand alongside the Sith Lord on his right as he spoke against Yoda.
"IT IS YOUR FAITH IN THE LIGHT THAT IS MISPLACED, JEDI. YOU HAVE BEEN BLIND, DECEIVED, LED ASTRAY. AND IN YOUR IGNORANCE, YOU ALLOWED THE DARKNESS TO SPREAD ACROSS THE GALAXY." Lord Thanatos says
The dark being stretches out his right-hand and summons his Dark Keyblade: Harbinger of Shadows, which appears as a black-red cloud of darkness in-hand, then stretches out in red-orange and black-red electric sparks of dark energy. In the shaft of the Dark Keyblade, the red eye of darkness emits a brief flash of evil light.
"IT IS POINTLESS TO RESIST. NOTHING YOU DO HERE CAN CHANGE WHAT HAS BEEN DONE. LIKE THE KEYBLADE WIELDERS OF YORE, THE FATE OF THE JEDI ORDER IS ALL BUT SEALED. IN THE END, EVERY CORNER OF THE UNIVERSE SHALL SUBMIT TO THE RULE OF THE DARK ORDER." Lord Thanatos says
"Always prevail, the light will. Still lives does the Keyblade Wielder Devon. Powerful is he with the Force. Strong is the light in his heart. Stop you he will." Yoda says
With nothing left to be said, the epic duel between the Jedi Master, the Dark Lord of the Sith, and the Dark Keyblade Master began. Palpatine raises his red lightsaber over his head with both hands while Lord Thanatos stood with his Dark Keyblade by his side.
Yoda made the first move as leaps forward with a somersault, swinging his green lightsaber at Palpatine on his right, who parries the blow, bounces off the Emperor's podium with a backflip, and swings a spinning slash at Lord Thanatos on his left, who also parries with his Dark Keyblade. The Jedi Master lands back infront of the Sith Lord and the dark being and they point their weapons at him.
"HMPH!" Lord Thanatos grunts
Lord Thanatos swings Harbinger of Shadows down at the short Jedi Master with a left slash. Yoda holds his lightsaber vertically as he blocks his strike, then shoves it away. Palpatine swings his lightsaber down on Yoda, only to be blocked as the dwarf-sized Jedi held his weapon horizontally in defense. Yoda jumps up with a triple somersault while Palpatine spins his lightsaber in his right-hand to strike. Landing back on his three-toed feet, Yoda holds his green weapon vertically and swings it left as Palpatine's red blade clashed with him again, putting the Jedi and Sith in a blade lock.
"He he ha ha ha ha ha ha!" Palpatine cackles
Narrowing his eyes and letting out a grunt, Yoda shoves the red lightsaber away to the left. Palpatine takes another swing at the small Jedi Master with a left slash, which Yoda parries.
Back on Mustafar, the duel between Devon and Lord Drazor continued in the command center while Anakin and Obi-Wan fought in the adjacent conference room, standing on the long table inside.
Grabbing hold of Obi-Wan's lightsaber hand, Anakin clamps down on the Jedi's throat with his prosthetic hand and began bending him backwards while the Jedi Master groaned. Anakin mouthed some words as he throttled his former Master and forced his lightsaber closer to his face. Eventually, Obi-Wan managed to kick Anakin off him with his right-foot, knocking him forward. The Sith Lord quickly retaliated and knocked the Jedi Master down with a right-kick of his own, causing him to fall backwards and flip over onto his stomach. Anakin charges at Obi-Wan to attack him again, but he sidestepped to the right and kicked the fallen Jedi in the chest with his right-foot, causing him to flip over and land heavily on his back. Obi-Wan telekinetically pulls his lightsaber and moved to finish Anakin, raising the blue energy blade over his head with both hands. The Sith Lord telekinetically pulled his own lightsaber back into his left-hand and immediately held it up as he blocked against the blow.
Outside by the door to the conference room, Devon and Lord Drazor both swung their Keyblades left and right at each other, exchanging blows as Soul Calibur and Fear's Shadow clanged loudly. Lord Drazor swung his Dark Keyblade with an uppercut slash and a wide left slash, which Devon dodges leaning to the right and jumping back, and three angled downward strikes over both shoulders, which the young teen blocked holding Soul Calibur opposite of Fear's Shadow. Then, Lord Drazor follows up with another uppercut strike, which Devon also blocks, but was knocked back by the Dark Knight's incredible strength. Losing his balance, the Keyblade Wielder stumbles backwards in five steps and falls against a control panel. Before Devon had a chance to recover, Lord Drazor raises his Dark Keyblade over his head and swings down at the young teen. Devon quickly brought up his crystal Keyblade infront of his face and blocked the strike, forcing the two warriors into a blade lock. The Dark Knight pushes his blade down on the Keyblade Wielder while he pushes back against his strength.
"U-Ungh! Gnnh! Hnng!" Devon grunts
Soul Calibur's crystal blade is slowly pushed further down towards Devon, inching closer and closer to his face. Eventually, after ten seconds of resisting, Devon kicks both his legs into Lord Drazor's chest and sends him back across the room. After breaking free, Devon leaps forward with a right spinning slash, but Lord Drazor leans his body away, dodging the attack. The young teen follows up with a left slash, only to be blocked by Fear's Shadow as the Dark Knight parried his blow. Devon spins his crystal Keyblade in his right-hand and comes back at Lord Drazor with two downward slashes and two spinning strikes behind his back, but is parried both times. Then, he spins around with a roundhouse slash while Lord Drazor swings his weapon with a right slash. Devon and Lord Drazor both clashed and engaged in another blade lock, staring at each other with intense looks for at least six seconds before pushing apart and breaking away on their separate sides.
Yoda, Palpatine, and Lord Thanatos' battle on Coruscant continued in the office with neither side able to gain an advantage. The Sith Lord and the Dark Keyblade Master had moved to the Emperor's podium, exchanging blows with the diminutive Jedi Master as he leaped around them with spinning strikes.
Palpatine spins his red lightsaber in his right-hand and swings it down at Yoda with five downward strikes. The green Jedi Master parries the first three blows, holding his green lightsaber left and right, then leaps up with a spinning flip and blocks the other two. Lord Thanatos swings the Harbinger of Shadows as he stood on the other side of the podium on Yoda's left, attacking him with a left slash. Yoda leaps over the Dark Keyblade with a left flip, spinning three times to Lord Thanatos' side, and parries his blows as he follows up with a right slash, a downward slash, and another left slash. In retaliation, the Jedi Master counters with a two downward strikes of his own and a reverse roundhouse slash, only to be blocked. Leaping back to the central of the podium, Yoda swings his lightsaber at Palpatine on his right and Lord Thanatos on his left, switching back and forth between the two villains as they attacked him together, parrying their attacks and countering with his own strikes.
As they fought, the podium activated and rose up through the retractable ceiling, ascending high into the Imperial Senate Chamber, which fortunately for Lord Thanatos and Palpatine was empty so no one would see their duel.
Yoda leaped around Palpatine's side of the podium while the Sith Lord relentlessly attacked him with his lightsaber, turning it left and right with six overhand strikes. Palpatine swings his red blade with a left slash, which Yoda caught with his green blade, angling it down to the left, putting the Jedi Master and Sith Lord into a blade lock. Palpatine grunted angrily as he pushed against Yoda's lightsaber, while the dwarf-sized Jedi narrowed his eyes.
Eventually, after six seconds, Yoda shoves Palpatine's red lightsaber to the right, breaking away from the Sith Lord, only for Lord Thanatos to attack him next with the Harbinger of Shadows. The Dark Keyblade Master swings down at the Jedi Master with a downward strike, only for his weapon to be blocked and shoved away to the left. He follows up with a right slash, which Yoda dodges with a right cartwheel flip, and two more downward strikes, which is also parried. Then, Lord Thanatos thrusts the Harbinger of Shadows at the Jedi Master, but he dodges with a leap to the left and knocks the evil blade away with a right slash of his lightsaber.
Palpatine attacks Yoda with three left wide sweeping strikes from his red saber while the Jedi Master leaps around his side with three cartwheel flips, parrying his blows with his green saber. Returning to the center of the podium, Yoda blocks a right slash from Palpatine and twists his body around to the right, blocking a left strike from Lord Thanatos, turns back around and parries another right slash from Palpatine, then blocks a downward slash from both him and Lord Thanatos as they strike together, putting them into another blade lock, while the Sith Lord yells in anger.
Back on Mustafar, the duel progressed back into the control room as Devon and Obi-Wan stood toe-to-toe with Anakin and Lord Drazor, engaging in a swift flurry of swordplay. The four warriors swung their weapons up, down, left and right seventeen times as both Keyblade and lightsaber clashed. Afterwards, they spun them around their bodies ten times and engaged in a four second blade lock. Then, both sides thrust their left-hands forward as they attempted to break away with a Force Push, putting them all in a vicious power struggle.
Eventually, after eight seconds, the air pocket compressed by the combined Force pushes ruptured and exploded, flinging all four duelists against opposite walls. Anakin recovered first and jumped up onto the holotable, leaping across the room towards Obi-Wan, raising his lightsaber over his head for a downward strike. The Jedi Master parries the blow holding his lightsaber above his head to right and pins the Sith Lord's blade against the console with a downward strike of his own. Following the fallen Jedi, Lord Drazor jumps onto the holotable and thrusts his left-hand forward, launching a Dark Firaga spell at Devon, who swatted the black fireball away to the left with a swing of his crystal Keyblade, The dark fireball hits one of the facility screens in the back-left corner of the room, unleashing a large explosion on impact which completely destroys the entire console. Leaping towards the Keyblade Wielder, the Dark Knight raises Fear's Shadow over his head to strike, but the young teen holds Soul Calibur horizontally above his head to the right, catching the Dark Keyblade, and swings it over to the left, pinning it against the console behind him.
Unfortunately, the misdirected attacks accidentally destroyed the power controls for the shields to the mining complex. Electronic twittering and alarms sounded off as warnings appeared on the monitors, which showed displays of the facility. Outside, the alarms were even louder as the shields went down, leaving the entire facility exposed to the intense heat of Mustafar's lava flows.
Anakin renewed his attack and swung his lightsaber with right slash at Obi-Wan. The Jedi Master parried his strike and knocked his blue blade into the door controls behind him on his right, opening the way to the outer balcony as the blast door rose upwards, then kicked the fallen Jedi in the stomach with his right-foot, sending him back. Anakin advances on his former master with a left and right slash, a downward slash, but Obi-Wan parries his strikes and kicks him again in the chest before retreating outside. Devon followed them onto the exterior balcony as he broke away from his clash with Lord Drazor, shoving Fear's Shadow back.
Devon and Obi-Wan both retreated as Anakin and Lord Drazor advanced toward them. The Sith Lord attacks the Jedi Master with a downward strike over the right-shoulder, which Obi-Wan parries holding his lightsaber horizontally to the right, then follows up with two more side strikes, swinging his blade left and right, which is also parried. Obi-Wan catches the last blow and swings it around from side to side, but Anakin swings his blade away and kicks him hard in the face with his left-foot, knocking him back.
Devon glances back at his Jedi friend as he staggers backwards in a couple of steps, then faces the fallen Jedi and the Dark Knight as they walked toward him.
"You've always been stronger than me, Devon! Superior even to me! But now I am your equal! Your power should be mine! It will be mine! Once I kill you, the Keyblade shall answer to me!" Anakin yells
"You know that's not how they work, Anakin! And there's no way you're capable of wielding the Keyblade the way you are now!" Devon says pointing Soul Calibur at the fallen Jedi
"Then, I shall take it from you by force!" Anakin yells
Swinging his lightsaber at the wall next to him on his left, Anakin slices dozens of metal shards out of the wall and hurls them forward at Devon with a thrust of his left-hand through the Force. Devon thrusts his left-hand out and deflects the shards away from him using the Force as well, sending them flying in multiple directions. With an angry growl, Anakin dashes toward the young teen with Lord Drazor following him and they attack Devon together. The fallen Jedi attacks with a downward slash, a right slash, and a left slash spinning his lightsaber around, while the Dark Knight attacks with a left slash, an uppercut slash, and a right slash spinning Fear's Shadow in his hand. Devon swings Soul Calibur left and right, switching back and forth between Anakin on his right and Lord Drazor on his left as he parried and dodged every blow thrown at him.
The two villains both bring their blades down on the Keyblade Wielder, but he holds his crystal Keyblade up horizontally to the left in defense. Devon engaged Anakin and Lord Drazor in a fierce blade lock and even managed to hold off against their strength for a good long seven seconds. Eventually, Devon breaks off from the clash and jumps away with a backflip, dodging a wide right slash from Lord Drazor, flipping over five times in the air with a backwards somersault and landing at Obi-Wan's right-side in a crouched position using his left-hand to catch himself. He then rises up with the Jedi Master and prepared to continue their fight against the Sith Lord and the Dark Knight as they walked towards them.
On Coruscant, Palpatine and Lord Thanatos took the high ground in the Senate Chamber by jumping up to one of the repulsorpods above them. Yoda leaps up after the two villains and lands on another pod further down. Lord Thanatos dismisses his Dark Keyblade and levitates into the air with his hands spread out, enveloped in darkness and sparking with dark blue electricity, while Palpatine stood on his pod, cackling with his evil laugh as he raised his hands, lifting up two repulsorpods with the Force.
Using his telekinetic powers, the Sith Lord throws the two pods at Yoda, while the Dark Keyblade Master shoots two electric blasts through his hands. Using his own powers of the Force, Yoda leaps from one pod to another, avoiding the improvised projectiles and the electric blasts. The short Jedi Master ignites his green lightsaber and looks up at the Sith Lord as he rips more pods from their stations, and the Dark Keyblade Master as his hands sparked with even more electricity. Palpatine hurls one pod down toward Yoda's position, but he jumps and climbs up along its side as it smashes down, then leaps over another thrown pod with a somersault. Lord Thanatos thrusts his hands forward as he shoots dark electric blasts at the diminutive Jedi Master and nearly hits him once or twice, but misses by only a second each time Yoda dodges his blasts. Continung their relentless assault, Palpatine and Lord Thanatos both hurl more pods and electric blasts at Yoda while he attempts to make his way up to them. However, the intense attacks proved too difficult for even Yoda to overcome and close the distance. Eventually, the Jedi Master trips on a pod after jumping to it, falling forward onto his stomach. Rising onto his feet and realizing the flaw of his strategy, Yoda deactivated his lightsaber and placed it back onto his belt before engaging the two villains once more.
Palpatine telekinetically grabs another pod on his right and throws it down at Yoda, but the green Jedi Master stretches his hands out and stops the pod only inches away from his position using the Force. Waving his left-hand, he spins the pod around, then thrusts his right-hand forward, sending it back at the Sith Lord and the Dark Keyblade Master. Palpatine watched as the pod flew toward him and Lord Thanatos, then leaps down from his perch to a lower pod, giving up the high ground. Lord Thanatos gazed at the approaching pod for a moment and gave out a grunt before hurling a powerful blast of arcing lightning bolts through his fingertips, destroying the pod completely into oblivion. He then descends down onto Palpatine's repulsorpod, landing on his right-side.
Yoda saw his chance to re-engage the two Dark Lords at close quarters and leaped at them, landing on the edge of the pod and drawing his lightsaber to his left-side. However, Lord Thanatos thrust his right-hand forward and unleashed a torrent of dark blue lightning at Yoda before he could strike, knocking his lightsaber from his grasp and causing it to fall to the bottom of the chamber. Palpatine joined in on the attack and stretches his hands at the Jedi Master, attacking him with his own barrage of Force lightning. Yoda absorbs both electric attacks with his hands, but the combined power was such that he began to falter. Lord Thanatos and Palpatine closed in on the dwarf-sized Jedi Master as they moved around the seats, steadily increasing their power of their attacks. Palpatine smiled and began cackling in triumph, but Yoda regained his strength and started to redirect the lightning back at the two villains, coalescing the energy into a blue orb between the three of them. The Sith Lord groaned and the Dark Keyblade Master grunted as they were slowly being pushed back by Yoda's counterattack.
Eventually, the combination of their powers created a telekinetic explosion of Force energy, which blasted the two sides away. Palpatine was sent tumbling head over heels to the edge of the pod, but managed to grab one of its guard rails, while Lord Thanatos was sent off flying into another pod, smashing all the way through it and into the wall. Yoda was blasted completely clear off the pod and fell all the way back down to the Emperor's podium. He struck the podium too hard to control his landing and bounced off the structure's main body to its edge, where he barely stopped his fall. Yet exhausted and holding onto a smooth surface, Yoda lost his grip as his two nails scratched the edge and he fell dozens of meters down to the Senate floor, rolling over four times at the bottom until he stops flat on his back.
Yoda rolled onto his right-side as he slowly recovered while Palpatine cackled in triumph above him. Battered and spent, Yoda knew that he could not continue the fight with Lord Thanatos and Palpatine at this point. Not even he could stand up against to their combined power. And so, the fight ended in a stalemate and the green Jedi Master was forced to retreat.
Returning to the volcanic planet of Mustafar, Devon and Obi-Wan leaped onto a steam pipe, retreating along it's length with Anakin and Lord Drazor in pursuit. A DLC-13 mining droid flies in on the scene, stopping for a moment to observe the confrontation, but flies off to tend to its duties. Attempting to gain the offensive, Obi-Wan swung his lightsaber at Anakin, only to be driven back by the fallen Jedi's relentless attacks as he swings his blue blade at him while Obi-Wan parries his strikes. After tight walking a short ways along the pipeline, Devon and Obi-Wan leap off and drop down onto one of the collection arms below.
Obi-Wan attacked again with a left slash and an upward and downward strike, but Anakin easily fended off his blows and knocked the Jedi Master aside with a heavy backhand. Devon comes at Lord Drazor with right slash, a left slash, a downward slash, and a reverse roundhouse slash, but like Obi-Wan his strikes were easily parried and the Dark Knight counters with a roundhouse kick using his right-foot across Devon's face, sending him spinning and staggering backwards. Anakin raises his lightsaber over his head and Lord Drazor gripped Fear's Shadow with both hands and raised the Dark Keyblade over his left-shoulder as they approached the heroes for another attack. Obi-Wan grabbed Anakin's hands while Devon swung Soul Calibur over his right-shoulder and the two sides clashed with a massive spurt of lava erupting alongside them, intensifying the battle. Anakin and Obi-Wan wrestled with one another while Devon and Lord Drazor pushed against each other's strength.
On Coruscant, Yoda crawled through the ventilation shafts as he made his escape from the Senate Chamber. As he did, he takes out a comlink in his right-hand and spoke into it as he contacted Bail Organa.
"Hurry. Careful timing we will need." Yoda says
Out in the Galactic City, Bail Organa was already driving his red XJ-2 sirspeeder when he recieved Yoda's transmission through his comlink.
"Activate your homing beacon when your ready." Bail says
In the Senate Chamber, Lord Thanatos and Palpatine stood on a floating repulsorpod, accompanied by Mas Amedda on Palpatine's right as they looked up at five clone shock troopers, who stood above them on another repulsorpod as they searched for Yoda.
"There's no sign of his body, my lords." Clone Shock Trooper #1 says
"Then, he is not dead." Mas Amedda says
"Double your search." Palpatine says
"Yes, sir. Right away, sir." Clone Shock Trooper #1 says nodding his head
The clone troopers hover away on their pod and continue their search for Yoda. As they fly away, Palpatine glances slightly at Mas Amedda on his right.
"Tell Captain Kagi to prepare my shuttle for immediate take-off." Palpatine says
"Yes, Master." Mas Amedda says nodding his head
While the Vice Chair began with his task, the Emperor glances off to the left, feeling a sense of unease.
"I sense Lord Vader is in danger." Palpatine says
Lord Thanatos' red eyes were also gazing off to the left as he sensed the disturbance as well.
"AS DO I. WE MAKE FOR THE MUSTAFAR SYSTEM IMMEDIATELY." Lord Thanatos says
Returning to the duel on Mustafar, Anakin and Lord Drazor seized the offensive and they drove Devon and Obi-Wan back further out across the structural arm.
Anakin swings his lightsaber with two downward strikes at Obi-Wan, but parries his blows and swings his blue blade away to the right. The fallen Jedi takes another swing at his former Master with a low right slash aimed at his legs, only to miss as he leaps up over the blade. Anakin follows up with a thrusting strike, which Obi-Wan knocks away to the left, and six spinning strikes, which is also parried. The fallen Jedi follows up with a downward strike bringing his lightsaber over his right-shoulder, but the Jedi Master blocks his attack and swings his blade down to the right, pinning it against the arm.
Lord Drazor swings his Dark Keyblade at Devon with three left and right slashes aimed at his stomach, but misses as the young teen leans his body back, dodging all three strikes. Then, he takes a sweep at Devon's legs with a low wide left slash. The Keyblade Wielder leaps over the evil blade with a backflip and counters with a reverse roundhouse kick, which the Dark Knight narrowly dodges ducking his head down. Continuing his assault, Lord Drazor attacks Devon with two spinning strikes, two roundhouse slashes, and a reverse roundhouse slash. The Keyblade Wielder parries his blows, catches the last one with Soul Calibur, and swings Fear's Shadow down against the arm.
Suddenly, another massive eruption of lava shoots up several feet into the air and fell onto the unshielded collection arm, slowly melting away the metal and forcing the fight to stop for a moment. Retreating to the relative safety of the structure at the end of the arm, Devon, Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Lord Drazor watched as the heat and weight of the lava melted the arm's superstructure. Knowing that the arm was going to break off of the complex, the Keyblade Wielders, Jedi, and Sith fled up along its length as the arm plummeted into the river of lava below.
Back in the Senate Building on Coruscant, Yoda crawls out into an intersection in the ventilation shafts and reaches a hatch that led outside. He activates the beacon in his left-hand, then pulls up a lever on his right, opening the hatch out of the building. Bail Organa arrives with his airspeeder flying underneath the hatch and the green Jedi Master jumps down onto the speeder, landing in the passenger seat. With Yoda safely onboard, Bail Organa flies the speeder away from the Senate Building.
"Into exile I must go. Failed I have." Yoda says
While the duel on Coruscant was over, the epic battle between the Keyblade Wielders, the Jedi, and the Sith raged on as the severed collection arm flowed vertically along the red hot river. Anakin and Lord Drazor kept up their onslaught, swinging their weapons up at Devon and Obi-Wan while they swinged their weapons down at them, parrying their blows. As they fought, the collection arm was slowly approaching a huge lavafall, which flowed hundreds of feet high down to another lava river below. Devon and Obi-Wan noticed the oncoming danger and grabbed onto the severed support cables, leaping off the arm. Anakin and Lord Drazor both grabbed their own cables and swung towards them in pursuit. Both Keyblade and lightsaber clashed as they passed each other with Devon swinging Soul Calibur at Anakin and Obi-Wan swinging his lightsaber at Lord Drazor, who parried with Fear's Shadow. The Keyblade Wielder and Jedi Master swing away from the arm to the upmost limit of their cables and let go. Obi-Wan lands on a large lava skiff while Devon lands on top of a DLC-13 mining droid.
"Sorry. l just need to borrow you for a second." Devon apologizes looking down at the droid
The collection arm began to topple over the lavafall with Anakin and Lord Drazor as they swung back onto it. Running quickly along its length, the fallen Jedi and the Dark Knight leap onto safety, landing on the heads of two DLC-13 mining droids same as Devon. Directing the collectors toward Obi-Wan's skiff and Devon's droid, Anakin and Lord Drazor resumed their attack, swinging their lightsaber and Dark Keyblade up, down, left, right, over and under 23 times at Devon and Obi-Wan, while they parried their blows. Breaking away from the last strike, Obi-Wan and Devon both tried to reason with Anakin one last time.
"I have failed you, Anakin. I have failed you." Obi-Wan says
"We both did." Devon says
"I should've known the Jedi were plotting to take over!" Anakin yells
"Anakin, Chancellor Palpatine and Lord Thanatos are evil!" Obi-Wan yells
"From my point of view, the Jedi are evil!" Anakin yells
"Well, then, you are lost!" Obi-Wan yells
Moving further up the lava river, the four warriors passed around two mining workers, who watched them go by on another lava skiff, and stared at each other.
"This is the end for you, my master." Anakin says
Anakin leaps off his mining droid with a somersault and lands on Obi-Wan's skiff engaging him once more, while Devon and Lord Drazor fought each other. Both Keyblade and lightsaber clashed in a flurry of swordplay. Eventually, after exchanging blows seventeen times at each other, Devon, Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Lord Drazor locked their weapons in a final clash. Soon, they neared an embankment on the obsidian shore. Devon and Obi-Wan break away and jumped off from the skiff and the mining droid, landing on the high slope above the lava river and looking down at Anakin and Lord Drazor.
"It's over, Anakin! We have the high ground!" Obi-Wan says spreading his arms out
"That's right! This fight is finished!" Devon says pointing Soul Calibur down at the fallen Jedi and the Dark Knight
Anakin and Lord Drazor both cast menacing glares at the heroes from where they stood on their skiff and droid.
"Nothing is truly over." Lord Drazor says
"You underestimate my power!" Anakin says
"Don't try it." Obi-Wan says shaking his head
"Please, don't." Devon says shaking his head
Blinded by his rage and arrogance, Anakin leaps up at Devon and Obi-Wan with a somersault, blade angled for the kill, but left himself open. Obi-Wan slices off Anakin's left-arm and both of his legs with a swift, devastating strike, severing his remaining organic limbs. Anakin rolls down the slope and stops near the brink of the lava river. Lord Drazor made his move next and leaps up at the heroes with Fear's Shadow raised over his right-shoulder behind his back. Devon dismisses Soul Calibur from his right-hand and pulls his hands back yo his right-side as he calls upon the Force.
"Hrrrrrrr... Nnnngggh..." Devon grunts
Just as Lord Drazor swung his Dark Keyblade to attack them, Devon's eyes snapped open and he thrusts his hands forward with a loud yell.
"Haaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Devon yells
A blue-white light shines forth from the palms of Devon's hands as he unleashes an incredibly strong telekinetic blast at Lord Drazor, hurling him far across the lava river to another embankment, and the Dark Knight smashes into the obsidian mountain, leaving a hole several feet deep into the black rock, which was soon covered up with dozens of rocks that fell over it. With that, the duel was finally over.
Devon lowered his hands and panted for breath as he slowly recovered from using an excessive amount of his power while Obi-Wan switched off his lightsaber. Both of them gazed down at the former friend with heartbroken expressions as he attempts to scramble up the shore with only his mechanical arm, only to slide closer to the lava.
"You were the Chosen One! It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them! Bring balance to the Force, not leave it in darkness!" Obi-Wan yells
Obi-Wan bent down and took Anakin's lightsaber and both he and Devon climbed up the slope a bit more before looking back down at Anakin as he groaned from his wounds. Looking up at the Keyblade Wielder and his former Jedi Master with his now corrupted eyes, Anakin curses them with a scream of powerless rage.
"I hate you!" Anakin screams at the top of his lungs
Devon and Obi-Wan were nearly on the verge of tears as they gazed down sadly at the fallen Jedi.
"You were my brother, Anakin. I loved you." Obi-Wan says
Suddenly, Anakin's legs caught fire from the intense heat of the lava river and he screamed in agonizing pain. Devon gasped and both he and Obi-Wan watched in horror as the flames engulfed his entire body, horribly burning and disfiguring him. Anakin's hair completely burned away, turning him bald, and his clothes disintegrated in the flames. By the end, he was nothing more but a charred and mutilated figure. Unable to help and unwilling to finish the defenseless ex-Jedi, Devon and Obi-Wan briefly spared one last look at their former student, friend, and brother before they remorsefully turned and left Anakin to whatever end he was destined for, leaving the embankment as the flames and Anakin's pained cries slowly died down from the immolation.
After leaving Anakin to his fate, Devon and Obi-Wan returned to the landing platform of the mining facility where the Naboo star skiff was still docked. R2-D2 sadly whistled and beeped as the Keyblade Wielder and the Jedi Master passed him at the top of the stairs to the platform. C-3PO hastily steps down the ramp of the chromium starship as he meets the heroes.
"Oh, Master Kenobi, Master Devon. We have Miss Padmé on board. Please, please, hurry. We should leave this dreadful place." C-3PO says
Devon and Obi-Wan pat the gold protocol droid on his left-shoulder as they pass him by and head onboard the starship with C-3PO and R2-D2 following close behind.
Inside the star skiff, the Keyblade Wielder and Jedi Master check on the Naboo Senator in the medical bay as she laid on her back over a dark blue and grey padded bed. Devon places his left-hand on her right-shoulder as she opens her eyes and looks up at him and Obi-Wan.
"Padmé..." Devon says
"Obi-Wan... Devon... Is Anakin all right?" Padmé says
Neither of the heroes said anything and Padmé closes her eyes, slipping back into unconsciousness as her head falls limp to the right. Obi-Wan stared down at her for a good long seven seconds until he turns and leaves the medical bay. Devon glances over his right-shoulder and watched him go, then looks back down at the dying Padmé for the same amount of time until he decides to leave and let her rest. Before he leaves the medical bay, the Keyblade Wielder looks down at the blue and white astromech droid and places his right-hand on his dome.
"Watch over her, R2." Devon says
R2 whistles softly and turns his head toward Devon as he exits the medical bay, then turns back at Padmé.
Soon, the chromium Naboo starship takes off from the landing pad and leaves the mining complex, ascending into the atmosphere and into space, leaving the Mustafar system. C-3PO took control of the ship while Obi-Wan sat on his left in another seat, placing his right-hand on his face. Behind them, Devon sat on the floor by the door of the ship's bridge, resting his arms on his knees.
Back down on the surface of the volcanic planet, Anakin was still struggling to crawl up the pebbly slope, moaning softly. He was in immense pain, but still alive. As he laid out on the obsidian slope, the shadow of a Theta-class shuttle flies overhead as Lord Thanatos and Palpatine finally arrive on Mustafar.
The Theta-class shuttle was a transport in the now Galactic Empire used for transporting high-ranking individuals such as Emperor Palpatine and Lord Thanatos. The vessel had two side wings that folded a degree downward in flight and folded upward when landing, a central fin that housed the shuttle's ray shield generator, a Class 1 hyperdrive, and a ramp that opened in the front of the ship for entry and exit.
The shuttle approaches the Klegger Corp Mining Facility and touches down on another landing platform with its two landing gear legs extending downward.
"My lords! This way!" Clone Shock Trooper #2 says
Anakin looks up as he heard the voice of the clone trooper. Lord Thanatos and Palpatine arrive at the spot with two clone shock troopers and they saw the charred Sith Lord down on the slope.
"There he is. He's still alive." Palpatine says pointing down at his badly wounded apprentice
Anakin rolls over on his back, very weak from his third degree burns. Suddenly, a huge explosion occurs over at the obsidian mountain where Lord Drazor had crashed, causing Lord Thanatos, Palpatine, and their clone shock troopers to look across the other embankment. Rocks were sent flying everywhere as the blocked hole was now clear. And out from the hole emerges the Dark Keyblade Wielder with only a few rips in the black clothing of his arms and legs, exposing glimpses of deathly pale skin underneath. Lord Drazor spots his master and Palpatine on the other side of the lava river and leaps high into the air, soaring across and landing close to Anakin.
"Get a medical capsule immediately." Palpatine says
"Yes, sir!" Clone Shock Trooper #2 says nodding his head
The clone troopers head out to fetch a medical capsule from the shuttle while Lord Thanatos and Palpatine head down to their prized pupils. Lord Drazor walks over to his master's right-side and places his right-hand over his chest, bowing his head to him. Then, he and Lord Thanatos look down at Anakin as Palpatine kneels down to his apprentice, placing his right-hand on his forehead.
Author's Note: Battle of the Heroes! Devon and Obi-Wan Vs Anakin and Lord Drazor on Mustafar, and Yoda Vs Palpatine and Lord Thanatos on Coruscant. Epic duels on both sides! Yoda retreats into exile after failing to defeat the Sith Emperor and the Dark Keyblade Master, but Devon and Obi-Wan both manage to defeat Anakin and Lord Drazor, though it's an emotional pyrrhic victory. Now, only one more chapter remains to finish Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Devon's journey through the prequels of the Star Wars Saga. Up next: the rebirth of the evil Sith Lord Darth Vader as he dons his infamous black armor, and a New Hope is born for the Distant Galaxy, namely the future Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker, and Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan, who will both grow up to support Devon in his rebellion against the Dark Order and the Galactic Empire!
