Nedzu hummed thoughtfully, one line catching his attention as he studied it. He picked apart the pieces and sipped his tea thoughtfully. Staring at the words he had saved.

'You won't find me. For what does a ghost do but disappear. If you wish to find me I give you this riddle. Monsters of villains, cities of flame, a hero killer slain. Of warehouses and cement rivers, decrepit home. You'll find me here, held in place. Haunting.'

He could decipher that the first part of the riddle was the city of Hosu. The second was possibly either a rundown business district or maybe a run down red light district.

One part caught his attention though, "held in place, haunting". The way Ghost spoke, it was as if...his eyes gleamed.

"Of course, a kidnapped victim." He murmured. Frowning into his tea. If that was the case, this was more serious than just someone trying to steal information. This was someone being forced too, in danger, and scared.

"What?" He glanced across to Eraserhead who sat across from him. He was looking up from the page to stare at the stoat.

"They, Ghost that is, is someone that was kidnapped. What I find interesting is their wording. They say "warehouse". Distinctly English don't you think?" He asked calmly, sipping his tea as he internally buzzed. Eraserhead's tired eyes found the page again.

"All of it was written in English." Aizawa grunted, sipping on his coffee.

"Yes and from what I could see the script or coding was also in English. Whoever this is isn't native to Japan. So this will help us narrow this down I believe." Nedzu replied, eyes glinting. Turning he began typing on his computer, pulling up all missing records in the past year. Scrolling through to look at those not from Japan. He already had an idea that they had a technological quirk of some kind that narrowed it down.

"Ah ha...I bet it might be this one." He turned the monitor to show Eraserhead. Aizawa gazed silently at the screen, at the child in the picture. Deep blue hair falling to her shoulders and bright teal eyes. A wobbly smile on her lips. "She went missing three months ago, no known family. Visiting here by herself, which is suspicious in itself. What parent allows their child to go abroad without them? Of course in the record it appears she was being fostered..." Nedzu hummed again.

"You think this Ghost is her?" Aizawa inquired, glancing over the riddle and back to the picture. Nedzu nodded.

"I'm sure of it. Now if we can find her." The principle opened up a few other links and pages, looking into this young woman. She went missing at fifteen, currently she is sixteen. Her birthday, December 1st.

"Jones, Allison (Ally). Quirk: Cyberkinesis." Aizawa grunted, reading through the limited report information. He furrowed his brow and glanced back up at Nedzu calmly. "What are you going to do?"

"Me? I have a child to look for. After all, UA lets no child fall through the cracks. Both as Heroes and educators." Nedzu was busy looking through surveillance of the day she went missing while speaking. Aizawa glancing over the video before suddenly speaking.

"There, at 3:05am. A car pulls up and she is seen being drug in." At his words, Nedzu stopped the video and worked on clearing up the graininess and zooming in. A license plate clearing into view.

With a maniacal laugh, he forwarded a picture to the police department with his email. Tsukauchi would find his message soon enough.

5:05AM

"This is the plate, it's registered to an Ito Aoi. Forty-five years old, currently resides in Hosu. Currently he is staying in this home." Here he paused and slid out the packets to the two heroes. "His quirk is called Override. If he touches someone he can cause intense pain to their nervous system."

5:30AM

The two heroes, Eraserhead and FatGum, made their way to the Hosu residence they would be working against.

Ally lay sprawled on the floor, the flash drive curled in her bruised and broken fist. She was scared he would come in for it. She had to protect the limited data. A quiet whimper was pulled from her throat as the lock clicked the door opened inwards. Her recent injuries pulling and burning. The slice on her bicep stinging from where her captor had held her down with a fucking knife to her. Bastard was lucky she didn't gut him. Her back was facing the door, but still she could see the shadow in the light spilling across the floor coming closer. A keening noise pulled from her throat is she scrambled to get up.

A fist slamming into her back while a hand dug into her hair and ripped her backwards. She concentrated weakly on the USB in her fist willing the pieces to come apart. And fall apart they did with clicks and clacks to the floor.

"You bitch!" She snarled, throwing her to the floor and kicking her viciously in the stomach. Each kick to her sides and stomach blossoming with agony. Blood filling her mouth and spilling out. Whether from biting her tongue or from internal bleeding she wasn't sure. It seemed to be an eternity of feet and fists slamming into her, the steel toe of his boots cracking one of her ribs.

"H..lp." She gurgled, knowing no one would hear her. And yet, she heard a door slam. Feet pounding the halls, shouting. It was distorted like a slow motion movie had a baby with a strobe light. A hand gripped her hair, ripping her head back, blackness filled her vision sporadically. Was she hearing buzzing or was that just her? Blearily she could see something large and...orange? The man was ripped off of her from behind, her hair catching and tearing. A strangled shriek pulling from her bloodied lips. Thumping forward tiredly, she struggled to blink her eyes open. Everything coming in and out of focus. A hand landed on her shoulder, she flinched before it registered that the touch was incredibly gentle. Calloused fingers brushing her hair off of her neck, prodding at the sensitive skin for a heartbeat. Long black hair filled her vision as her world tilted.

"...m on a boa'." Ally slurred tiredly. Whoever was holding her was incredibly warm and for the first time in months, she felt safe.

"Sta...wa...m." She couldn't make out what he was saying, her ears roaring with her heartbeat and static. Then nothingness.

7:00am – Shisaido News

A cold case was solved today involving a kidnapped victim in Hosu. You can find more information on..

Shouta never did have patience for the vultures, excuse him, press. They always did need to pick at things that shouldn't be brought up. Thankfully the kids name hadn't been released. He glanced down at the kid currently laying in the hospital bed. No active guardians, fostered in Japan before going missing. Originally from England but was brought to Japan at the age of 15. He squinted at the file in annoyance, could she even read or write in Japanese? What were they thinking? He heard a very soft moan of pain, the kid stirring. Shouta was immediately on alert, locking his phone and dropping it into a pocket of his costume.

"Kid?" He asked calmly, a soft whimper pulling from her as she shifted again. He reached over and pressed the red button to call a nurse. The nurse bustled in not to long after and promptly pushed something into the IV. Pain medicine he supposed.

"Wha...where?" A slurred voice spoke up, rasping and hoarse.

"Hosu General deary. You had quite the adventure from what I hear. How are you feeling on a scale of one to ten?" The kind elderly nurse inquired. The girl blinking bleary eyes up at her, struggling to lift a hand to rub her eyes only to catch on the IV. A soft whine pulling from her throat.

"I don't know, two?" The nurse tutted softly and gently patted the girls hand, but she shot a worried gaze to the hero. They both knew it couldn't be a two. It had to of been at least a seven. Shouta frowned in concern when the girl began whimpering when the nurse made to leave. He moved closer and set a gentle hand on hers. She flinched.

"Easy, I'm Aizawa Shouta, pro hero Eraserhead. One of the heroes on scene that rescued you." The girl blinked again hard.

"Eraser'? T'e un'ergro.." She slurred tiredly. Shouta frowned behind his scarf, so she knew about him him?

"Yeah kid, I'm an underground hero. Just try to rest. You're safe here." He stared down at those tired blue eyes that swam with uncertainty.

"You sure?" He nodded and went to remove his hand only to still when she made a noise of protest. Sighing, Shouta grabbed a chair and sat down. Resigning himself to being an emotional support for a traumatized teen. No worse than when he took in Shinsou, he supposed. Speaking of, he pulled back out his phone and sent a quick picture to Hizashi.

Cockatoo: LFMLGHROTUOPRJFPLHG

Cockatoo: She is so smol. Everything ok?

8:06AM

Me: Yes, for now. She doesn't want me leaving.

8:07AM

Cockatoo: She'll probably need that security for a bit.

What's going to happen to the little listener?

8:07AM

Me: for now? I have no idea.

8:08AM

Cockatoo: we have an extra room...

or she can stay on campus in a door until it's figured out. Either way.

8:09AM

Me: yeah, either way. We always have room in the teacher quarters. If not, I'm sure Nedzu will arrange something.

Speak of the devil and he will appear. Shouta, switched chats to the one with Nedzu.

Student Wranglers:

Key: Rat Overlord (Nedzu), Dadzawa (Aizawa), Therapy Dog (Hound Dog), Cowboy (Snipe), Geodude (Cementoss), Spaced Out (13), Ghost (Ectoplasm), Too Loud (Present Mic), Diglett (Power Loader), Granny (Recovery Girl), Sleep (Midnight)

Rat Overlord: Eraser, how is she?

Dadzawa: Currently sleeping. Although I'm sure you already knew that.

Rat Overlord: Indeed. When she wakes up, RG will start a healing session with her.

Therapy Dog: And what then?

Rat Overlord: I'm glad you asked! We'll be taking guardianship over her since we don't know if any other villains might be after her for now.

Therapy Dog: Noted.

Spaced Out: Is she ok?

Dadzawa: Physically...healing. Mentally who knows.

Too Loud: Sho and I already called dibs.

Sleep: Aaw but you already have one!

Aizawa groaned and rubbed his eyes tiredly. Glancing back down at the kid who was currently out like a light and sighed. Rubbing his thumb gently over her hand in a soothing gesture he typed back.

Dadzawa: Hizashi and I will take her for now so she doesn't get overwhelmed.

With that he closed the chat and ignored the buzzing. For now, he had a child to focus on. Since she was napping he saw no harm in trying to nap as well. Closing his eyes and let his head fall back and promptly fell asleep.

Ally woke up slowly, the pain was duller than before and she was greatful for it. Recovery Girl had come by earlier, THE RECOVERY GIRL, and gave her a healing session. Ally would have fan girled except for the fact that the healing quirk stole her momentary awareness. She did find out before that when she woke up today, they would be moving her to UA. ...The UA.

A movement to her right had her flinching away. Chest tightening and an ice cold sensation filling her stomach. She expected silver eyes and pain, but nothing happened. Peaking back open an eye she found the man in black from before. Eraserhead he had said his name was. He stood their calmly, tired eyes gazing down at her and as he moved his movements were...slow. She realized with shame he was telegraphing his movements.

"Good you're awake, we'll be leaving soon." He didn't comment on her skittishness thank fuck. She swallowed and nodded. A sudden knock to the door had her jumping again. This time it was a nurse again with a tall man that had long golden hair in a bun, a pencil mustache and bright glasses.

"Hey there little listener." Oh...oh was that? "I'm Yamada Hizashi, pro hero Present Mic. We're gonna get you checked out and take you to UA ya dig?"

She blinked owlishly and slowly nodded. He gave a blinding grin and got the papers from the nurse. When they were handed to her with a pen she stared at all of the characters. Panic filling her as she couldn't read anything. But suddenly, a long finger was pointing at a spot. His loud voice was gentle.

"Just put your signature here little listener. It's ok." She swallowed and signed, letting Hiza...Yamada take the paperwork back. She had to remember, Japan everyone used last names. Sucking in a breath she allowed the nurse to help her into a wheelchair and looked up at them nervously. Yamada grinned brilliantly down at her and Aizawa nodded slightly.

She was safe for now. But what would happen next?
