Konoha X771,
It was a new day for the residents of Konoha, the village was as lively as ever. While everyone was carrying out their jobs, running the village farms, industries, fishing, and all the other primary occupations, the people at the palace were busy running around trying to prepare for today's event.
Today Sasuke Uchiha was returning from his visit to the Ishgar continent and bringing back essentials that were not found on the island but most importantly the information about a certain black Phoenix that he notified the council about, 2 months ago.
Everyone was excited, while the others were curious as to what this sighting of the Phoenix after about 300 years meant. The last time the Phoenix was seen was when the Golden Phoenix came and announced the prophecy about our very own hero. Which turned out true also for the villagers, terrifying as they remembered the incident 6 years ago.
Speaking of our hero, he was walking on water with the help of his power and balancing his version of tri-pronged Kunais on different parts of his body while a girl with black shining hair, twinkling deep black eyes and Snow White soft skin, wearing a battle kimono was watching him curiously.
The Kimono was white with a pink sash that held the clothes together that reached her knees. She was trying to step on water and balance herself. This was Seliah Uchiha.
She was about to sink into the fast-flowing water when suddenly Naruto appeared in a flash of yellow and helped her regain her balance.
"You love to show off! Don't you? I also want to learn this cool power like yours, but all Kaa-chan has me do is this stupid exercise repeatedly!" She pouted and huffed in irritation.
Naruto puffed out his chest in pride with a smug look and tried to act like a serious man, "I am the senior one here. You unlocked your magic last year, so you have to go through these stinking exercises just like I did! And then you can become awesome like me! But you have this cool power to make others work for you right?"
Seliah looked at Naruto for some moments and then giggled to herself after seeing him nodding sagely to himself.
"You look very cute when you try to act like adults!", she laughed after seeing him getting red with embarrassment.
"HEY! I don't act like an adult, I am a big boy and I'm not cute I am..err...I ..am what?" He shouted angrily but then asked confusedly.
"Do you mean handsome like those princes in the stories that my kaa-chan reads me?" Seliah asked with sudden interest as she leaned forward toward him, getting into his face immediately.
She had this weird fascination with stories. She always imagined herself in stories with everyone around her and fantasises about being a character herself. She also talks about life with the metaphor of stories like "How will our story end?" Or "Would you be the prince of my story?"
It was kinda cute sometimes and funny to hear her, but when she talked about him like that he started to freak out and she acted all weird too. Also, her mom made it even worse by giggling at each of her sentences. That creeps him out, to be honest!
"Er...yeah", He wasn't sure but he didn't know much about compliments and adjectives so he trusted her with it.
" Well you are handsome, but you are cuter, my prince!" She giggled again causing him to pout at her teasing.
"Jeez, Seliah can you please stop with the prince thing, it's totally weird. I don't think people call each other like that, dattebayo!!" He exclaimed haughtily but clapped his hands on his mouth due to his verbal tic.
"Oh! But it suits you don't you think? See even now you came to help me!" She said pointing at the hands that they held together
Suddenly they heard giggling from their left and turned around to see their mothers holding a hand over their mouths to suppress their laughter.
"Oh! Your two look cute with each other, don't you think Kushina?" Mikoto asked amusedly to kushina.
Both Naruto and Kushina had tick marks on their heads but for different reasons. Naruto because he was called cute for the third time that day, while Kushina because she didn't like the thought of her son with anyone like Mikoto was suggesting.
"I don't, dattebayo!!"
"They don't, dattebane!!"
Both mom and son exclaimed together and the Uchiha family members laughed at the other pairs' similarities. But then Mikoto turned her head to Naruto with a mischievous smile.
"Why did you say 'I don't' Naruto-kun, do you think Seliah is cute then?"
Naruto didn't catch the evil glint in her eyes nor the expectant look of the other and answered without bothering to think about it twice.
"Well yeah, I mean she is cute and adorable sometimes, but I'm not cute I'm going to join the official anbu corps this time and not the unofficial practice one" Naruto states while imagining going to the outside land and doing awesome missions.
Hearing this got Seliah excited while the other two females frowned.
"Prince can I come with you too?!!" Seliah asked enthusiastically
"Of course, we will be partners and go out with Sasuke-san on his awesome adventures!" Naruto agreed to add more to Seliah's confirmation about him being her prince, due to the 'partner' part.
"Sochi-kun, you don't want to be with your kaa-chan? What will Kaa-chan do if you go out for so long and how will I have ramen without my baby, huh?" Kushina asked with a hint of worry and sadness. She didn't want him to go off on his own. She wanted to see him grow and take care of him and he was just too young to be going to the outside world.
Before Naruto could reply Mikoto sensed the gloomy air around them and tried to change the subject, "Speaking about Sasuke-kun, why don't we get ready to welcome him? I'm sure he wants to meet his otouoto and imouto after so many months, right?"
Hearing this caused Naruto and Seliah smile widely and went towards the palace to wait for their big brother to return.
Just as they were going to enter the palace they heard the loud ringing of the war bell that has not been used for 400 years from now.
Hearing the bell, panic began to spread across the village as the mages of the Anbu corps as well as all others started to guard their home against the enemy that had attacked.
Kushina and Mikoto both sped toward their kids and took them near the emergency exit tunnel inside the palace, in case the enemy forces pushed their defenses hard enough for such a situation.
"Naruto, Seliah stay together from here on alright! Don't go alone anywhere this an enemy attack!" Mikoto instructed as she entered the palace doors and ran towards the basement stairs which were locked for anyone but the royal family.
" Sochi-kun, listen we will get you out of here and you will follow the path towards Ishgar and wait for us on the other side in any of the nearby settlements, alright?" Kushina ordered as she looked at her son with unusual seriousness which was new for Naruto. He knew his kaa-chan was scary, but this was different.
He could only nod in response and hurry up on his way down the stairs as explosions and screams of agony, pain, and horror rang out through the battlefield outside.
Just as they were going to reach the barrier that protected the secret exit for the konoha citizens, they heard a large booming sound, and the whole castle was blasted away by a large dragon made of lightning.
"Well, Well, Well, is that girl the second true magic holder of this island? How cute she is! yes, she will do just fine!!" A demonic but at the same time mix of female and male voices echoed throughout the area as many of the citizens trying to run towards the exit were quickly swallowed by the earth, literally!!
This sight made everyone shocked, especially the two kids who had never seen death before.
"Hmm, that boy has zeref-sama's magic in his system. Is he the one who houses the first demon? Oh, we should kill him and take the second true magic user for ourselves!!" A very familiar voice rang out over the area and everyone turned around to see Sasuke Uchiha, standing on the statue in front of the palace looking down at the other occupants with a cold look and his blood-red eyes shining intimidatingly.
Seeing him the royal family was the most shocked, he appeared to be controlled by someone because he didn't recognize Naruto, his student. More importantly, their worry increased because a demon capable of defeating and taking control of one of the pillars especially someone like Sasuke, who was said to be the master of controlling others was their opponent.
Mikoto looked at them and noticed their interest in Seliah and shielded her from view.
"You two remain behind us, and make a run for it when we order, and don't look back!!"
Hearing this Seliah was on the verge of tears as she saw her aniki watching her like trash with a harsh cold look, instead of the gentle soft look with the warm smile that he always gave her.
She was scared that perhaps he was going to die and she was never going to be able to see him. Or perhaps her whole family was going to die, these thoughts made her shiver with fear as she held Naruto's hand tightly.
But Naruto on the hand had other ideas about this situation, " Don't worry we can defeat whoever this is who is controlling Sasuke-san, and then once he is on our side we can win against the enemy, right?!"
Kushina remained silent during all of this. She was surprised someone could control the Controller. That sounded ridiculous!
She and Mikoto can take on Sasuke easily. He was one of the pillars but together they were almost unbeatable and he was at a lack of his total potential or so she hoped.
But the other demon in the room was probably their biggest issue here, as he was capable of controlling someone like Sasuke. She could tell they both had the same magic signatures and she was sure if he could control Sasuke then he was strong as well.
But if it was about Naruto's life then she was going to give it her all. No way in hell she was going to let anything happen to him or Seliah. She looked at Mikoto and nodded and as both of them got ready for their imminent battle with this demon, whoever he was!!
"Oh! They are feisty ones they are going to make it hard but as a lady, I should know you should preserve your beauty and die with that angelic face of yours!!" The first demon chuckled darkly as he came out of the front doors of the palace and revealed his form.
His form is of a tall young man with a moderately toned and muscular body, who is of a notably pale complexion and possessed unusually long, pointed nails that appeared to be stained a pale blue. His hair could appear either silver or a pale golden blond, and he wore it parted to his left, the shorter parts around his face seeming to flare out to either side around his head, curving backward with one strand left down his face to fall between his eyes, while the longer parts were left to drape centrally down his back in a thinning spiral. His eyes have been described to be incredibly rare and beautiful, in color, they appeared to be made up of an array of rainbow pastel tones that fade into one another as they circle his irises.
Seeing him he appeared to be less dangerous but Mikoto and Kushina weren't going to let their guard down for a second.
" Who are you and what do you want?" She asked warily.
"Oh, I am switch, the second strongest Etherious and a loyal servant of zeref-sama. I was just here to help zeref-sama's army with lord August to destroy this indestructible land and remove the threat that it poses to our lord's plans. Also, that handsome young man ..." at this he/she pointed at Sasuke and continued, "...helped me find this place, he is strong too. I guess, I'll make him my bodyguard but he is hard to control from afar that's why I had to come here~" he finished with the same evil sing-song voice.
" Enough of this already, let's get started !!" Sasuke interrupted forcefully and without any warning lunged at the two unsuspecting women and Switch jumped backward to maintain a safe distance from the upcoming clash.
Kushina seeing him approach brings out her own sword Ascalon and parries a strike from Kusanagi then both of them continue exchanging blows with blue sparks flowing everywhere around from the clashing metals. A battle of master swordsmen ensues as both Naruto and Seliah are forced to activate their ruby eyes to observe the rare fight in more detail than just black and red blurs.
Sasuke makes a feign attack and quickly spins on his heel to deliver a stab from the other side, but Kushina is far more experienced in kenjutsu than him and skillfully redirects his hit on a wide angle to open up his guard and punches him hard on the stomach with her fists covered with golden chains like bandages that send him flying, wounding him badly but not enough to stop him.
Sasuke skids to a stop at a nearby pillar and slashes it with Kusanagi to distract Kushina but it drops on the trio awaiting behind and forced Mikoto to enter the fray and leave the kid's side to assist Kushina in the fight.
Suddenly the pillar is burned by blue flames that turn the pillar much cold and Mikoto tries to direct the burning pillar on their other opponent who realized the threat and jumps upwards before landing back in his previous position but this time with a predatory look and animal-like stance.
"That was mean, lady. If you wanted, you could have just invited me to the party yourself~" Switch laughs evilly and then attacks Mikoto with a strange creature that is grotesque looking and has razor-sharp teeth and numerous mouths on its surface skin.
The mouth even drips with some kind of poison, which upon contact with the ground melts a nearby rock instantaneously.
Seeing the danger both ladies group back up and try to come up with a plan.
"What should we do? Our priority is to get the kids out of here!" Kushina asks urgently.
"Yeah but both of them won't let us, they are clearly after the children so we must first form a distraction or atleast kill one of them," Mikoto said, hardening her stare at the end. Killing her son would be hard but if it meant saving the others, she was ready to do it. And who knew if he was even alive in there?
As they jumped back a lightning hound courtesy of Sasuke speeds toward the kids. Naruto, seeing the danger appears in front of Seliah and absorbs the lightning with his bare hands.
"Hmm, interesting he can absorb an element. What kind of magic is that" Switch stares at Naruto with analytical eyes for some moments before rushing to snatch him, but he receives a kick from a yellow flash that appears out of nowhere.
" You should talk less puny demon!" Naruto said in a cold voice.
Switch was surprised at what that power was. He needed to know it. Perhaps he can kill zeref-sama with it and fulfill his eternal wish.
"Stay back Sochi, we will deal with them! You cowards fight with SOME ONE YOUR SIZE!!" Kushina shouted angrily and then a battle ensued between the four of them which was very intense with both the teams not holding back an ounce.
Naruto and Seliah decided to assist in any way they could and both of them used their magic to cast illusions upon the demon to help their mothers. Casting them on Sasuke would've been useless.
Switch was becoming irritated with the sloppy judgment he was having during the fight. He hadn't used his main curse yet and both the ladies were stronger than anyone he had faced before. But he knew that August was still occupying the strongest opponents of them. He had to do his job quickly because he didn't stand a chance against those two fighting outside.
He had just sensed August releasing his full-powered bullet magic. To think these humans would be able to push August to his 100% was something he never would've thought possible if he wasn't present here himself. But these humans were interesting. He now understood just why zeref-sama wanted them dead.
As the battle continued, he decided to take the battle up a notch and used his curse The Field. Suddenly the flow of the battle changed upside down, the two women were at first having the upper hand. Switch wasn't much of a fighter. He just had the weird-looking thing to attack and nothing. They just had to look out for Sasuke who was using raikiri with his incredible speed and Kusanagi to keep Mikoto at the bay. While Kushina slowly but surely was injuring both their adversaries.
But when Switch used his spell, no matter how hard both Kushina and Mikoto tried their attacks weren't working and the opponents appeared to be becoming more powerful with each passing second.
As it appeared that they were being pushed back Kushina and Mikoto decided to pull out the big guns.
"Chain dragon: Infinite Explosions "
"Frost flames: Hydra"
Kushina's Chains interwind themselves between each other and formed a very large Chinese dragon that emitted an ominous red glow from the Amaterasu Formula 100 on each joint of its body.
While Mikoto spewed out a giant sea serpent of blue fire who had large and sharp teeth and two large yellow eyes.
Both women announced their attack as they rushed their opponents but just as it was about to connect both the dragon of chains with explosive spells and the frost hydra crashed into a Green humanoid structure.
"Susanno"
When manifesting its humanoid form, it took on a fiendish look to it with a red tomoe in the center of its chest and released chakra needles and lances at high speed at the two who were caught off guard by the sudden attack. But it even so cracked due to the power of trump cards of both the women's magic.
"N-No way he awakened The legendary Susanno!! How is it possible?!"
"I don't know but this is bad!" Mikoto said looking at Sasuke. He must have used at least 40% of his magic and Susanno was magic-consuming. The demon was not the problem, he was like a puppeteer who hides behind and plays his cards. So if Sasuke was defeated then their victory was highly probable.
They were both exhausted from the last attacks and had many cuts and serious injuries. They lost too much of their blood to stretch this battle any longer.
Both women decided on a plan through non-verbal conversation and now attacked together.
Switch laughed hysterically, he knew that with The field there was no way these women were going to win. But they were entertaining him, their skills and passion to protect those two insects were disgusting but he ignored that part.
"Hahahaha! See isn't it great my curse brings the true power of the one I control? Darkness truly is magnificent I just made my bodyguard unlock his dark powers! Hahahah~" Switch laughed maniacally
But just as Sasuke was about to go on the offensive Mikoto played her Ace spell. This time something twitched in Sasuke as the color from one of Mikoto's eyes dissipated and his eyes glazed over while the Susanno dissipated as he fell to the ground.
Seeing this everybody was shocked. Switch stared dumbfounded at his puppet while Kushina was astonished as she recognized the technique.
" Izanami isn't affected by this space technique of yours. You made us weak in your domain but my technique exceeds the reality and traps even time and soul in a prison of self-correction" Mikoto croaked out as she panted and fell to one knee with blood leaking out of her mouth.
As this was happening switch had his cursed creature take a weird book towards an unsuspecting Seliah who was watching dreadfully while her brother and mother seemed to be in a tough condition.
As the creature opened the book, a very powerful blast of black magic blasted from the outskirts of the village and entered the book as all the lively dancing purple energy in it became calm and unmoving.
But before anything could happen the energy entered seliah recognizing her as a new vessel. Her appearance began to change and she grew two golden horns and a weird moon sign over her forehead.
The energy from the shore also hit Switch and made his skin burn but he was going to die if he didn't do anything. He wouldn't have the true magic user and he also couldn't kill that brat with blonde hair but he made up his mind and the last thrust after his body exploded and he left the island through the sky but not before using his cursed creature to start melting Sasuke's body.
Seliah screamed in agony as the energy seemed to make her body stretch and change from within. Noticing this Naruto ran up to her and quickly tried to help her.
Seeing the opportunity, the grotesque creature made to slash with Kusanagi at Seliah but Mikoto intercepted the blade and took the attack on her chest.
Everything seemed to stop and time slowed down around Naruto. A searing pain entered Naruto's eyes as both his eyes received even more of the unnatural glow that they held from birth but he ignored it in favor of catching Mikoto in his arms.
Mikoto let the blood leak out of her mouth as her body became limp due to the lack of life it once had.
Seliah noticed this but couldn't do anything else as her own body was convulsing with the unthinkable pain it was going through. Kushina was shocked due for a different reason. Seliah was being sealed inside an etherious book.
And that spell from before was...
As these thoughts were going on in her mind she didn't notice the grotesque creature taking a glowing red orb-like substance from Sasuke's body and melting away the rest of his body.
THE PROPHECY CHILD
[Earlier when the Attack began]
It was a very normal day for the guards of Konoha. They didn't even know why they had to keep an eye on their naval and aerial borders. Although due to the incident six years ago security was kept tight and mages scouted every possible route to enter the island all the time without break.
Two such mages were always on guard duty and they were bored out of their mind with their daily job. They were always on guard duty and didn't do much other work due to their exceptional sensing skills. These were Izumo and Kotetsu the dubbed Konoha's eternal guards.
Although they were sensing a magic signature approaching, they knew only one person from the island was away at the time and he had a similar feel to his magic as well.
They peered down from their scout camp and saw a small boat approaching the island from the direction of the Ishgar continent.
They could make out the familiar black eyes and white cloak of the youngest pillar of their village, so they weren't much vigilant. Although his signature had a very vile feel to it now they ignored it, thinking it was that demon brat training nearby or waiting for his sensei.
But they noticed it too late, as the boat neared the shore, they sensed a sudden distortion in their sensing radar which clouded their judgment of the signature underwater.
As soon as they discovered this they hurriedly used their unison raid: sensing sight. Both of them used one of their hands to make hand signs with each of the other's opposite hands as if they were using their own two hands.
Sasuke had used his powers to distort their senses and caused them to overlook the area behind him. It caused the affected area to get blurred even from their acute senses.
But their eyes widened in horror as they sensed thousands of magical signatures approaching them from underwater and they immediately used the war ring to alert the village defenses.
Now Konoha had skilled mages who specialized in combat but when they faced an army with an advantage of 20 to 1 odds to their side with possible backup on the way, they were not much use as they had no way to retreat or hide on this island in the middle of nothing in the ocean. That is why they were so dependent on the barrier that hid them from the outside world.
Still, every villager donned their anbu set and fought the enemy head-on while Fugaku appeared to be fighting on the frontline as the village's commander.
All of them used their special magics and combination attacks. Some enlarged their bodies, captured and pierced the opponents with shadows, and sucked their magic with the seal placed on the shore.
But the battle began to change its flow when Sasuke entered the barrier and massacred the whole barrier squad, letting the enemy army push through their primary defense without much resistance. As a result, all the Konoha mages began to get overwhelmed by the sheer number of enemies.
As the commanding officers took out each of their single mages the odds became more severe. Also, the morale of Konoha mages had taken a blow when their pillar betrayed them and brought a whole army of submarines filled with Alvarez mages into their sacred ground and took out their key members.
As they thought that the night was the darkest, Dawn broke out as several enemy mages dropped dead to the floor with an audible thud when a yellow flash passed by them...
"It's Minato-sama!! We are saved"
"Yeah! no army can take down the duo of Minato-sama and Fugaku-sama!!"
"Now we will win!! let's get these west weeds!! so they never think about attacking us again"
Cheers rang out through the ranks of Konoha mages as all of them took positions on the eastern coast and have children and civilians escape from the western coast.
Although many of the Alvarez soldiers started attacking kids and ladies so the konoha mages were stretched thin and only one small boat made it out safe and others started struggling.
[ meanwhile at the fronlines]
The whole area was cleared as only Fugaku and Minato faced the large army of their enemies to protect their home village.
Fugaku used the great fire annihilation and started dodging attacks sent by the enemy mages towards him by skilfully running and diving through the water's surface surprising the enemy and taking them off guard with his ability to walk on water. He held out four kunai in each hand and enhanced them with wind magic and threw them at the enemy forces. The Alvarez soldiers didn't expect the attack to pass through the skulls of their comrades like paper and were killed instantly with each explosion that rang out on their submarines.
On the other side of the battlefield, Minato used many water senbons, water slicers, and water-style:dragon bullets and controlled them skilfully with his water magic mastery and wiped out a large number of enemies as the water itself began to rebel against their forces. When their submarines started sinking the soldiers had no choice but to try to swim toward the land. Although Minato cut off their escape route by using the water style: Hundred hungry sharks spell which made hundreds of sharks formed by water to hunt them down before they could reach the shores.
But the number of enemies and their skills with water were formidable even for the two of them. They were also struggling and starting to tire out slowly but surely due to the use of so many magic spells in rapid successions.
"Tch, such a nuisance, Minato wipe them out in one go!"
"Right!!"
Minato used the time provided by his teammate and formed an energy sphere that started making crashing noises and rapidly rotating waves like water attack in his hands. The attack made the water below them react to its intensity and start forming a tornado in the water below him.
"Energy make RasenTsunami!!!"
He then launched the attack in the tornado which made all the remaining forces of their enemies be sucked towards the center. Once the attack exploded, several water slicers came hurtling towards the Alvarez mages with blinding speed from the center of the tornado and made the tornado a crimson bath of blood for their enemies.
Fugaku smirked while Minato smiled with satisfaction, both slightly out of breath.
But then a sudden magical pressure rushed over them as an elderly man with torn rags and a staff with a purple gem on it appeared before them seemingly calm and confident even though he was facing two of the strongest mages on earth land. He was August dragneel, the wizard king himself!
He then transforms into his battle form. His skin darkens to red and his hair flares upwards wildly, his main hair, beard, and eyebrows more so than his mustache. On his forehead emerges a thick, golden circle, flanked by three thin, gold-colored lines to its left and right, which diverge slightly before going down under his eyebrows to reach his eyes' top edges, and from their bottom go further down to his jawline, over his neck, and diagonally across his pectorals to reach his arms, then stretching across the front of both his arms, presumably connecting with the above-mentioned, normally dark-colored tattoo at least on his left arm, becoming gold in color.
"My apologies! I am very sorry that this land has to bear such bloodshed but my majesty's wish is absolute! He views you as a threat to his plan for the future of humanity and we cannot let the Prophecy child grow any stronger than he is now!! So that is why I, August, will defeat you and then kill the child said to bear the power of true magic with a container even more powerful than me myself!" August announced with the graciousness of royalty and landed on the ground
" What do you want and who is this 'majesty' of yours!?" Fugaku asked as he and Minato focused letting loose their powers.
August tried to copy their magic but he was unable to do so. Then he tested the waters with both of them, with bullet magic, and shot magical beams at both of them with both of his hands.
Both of them dodged the attack easily and Minato threw a tri-pronged Kunai at August who merely moved his head out of the way but at the same time Fugaku throws a very accurate and fast Kunai at Minato's Kunai.
This causes the kunai to change direction and head down toward the ground behind August, where Minato suddenly appeared out of nowhere and formed a Rasengan in his hand, and thrust his hand forward.
"Rasengun!!"
The energy ball rotated more intensely and ascended toward the sky and exploded. August was surprised. He cannot copy their moves, and their attack delayed his time magics regeneration abilities. Only pure ethernano could hinder his regeneration.
Both Minato and Fugaku sprang into action and jumped toward August and a bout of hand-to-hand combat ensued. Minato and Fugaku showed exceptional skill with their kunai and August was forced to fight seriously for many years! He also used his staff with the slightest movement and tried to hit them even in the enclosed battle.
'Amazing I cannot copy their magic, they are on par with my hand-to-hand combat skills, their magic reduces my time magic's efficiency and are too fast to hit with my bullet magic...' he thinks as a punch cowered with golden flames hits his lower jaw and he is launched into the sky. There Minato appears behind him and kicks him on the back and launches him towards Fugaku who spews out wind magic enhanced Fire style: dragon at point blank range which sends him underwater.
Minato and Fugaku regroup as they wait for their enemy's next move. They were not sure if the last attack finished him off.
And their doubts were proven true as multiple magic beams erupted from under the water and aimed at them. Both of them landed on the shore in a blur of speed and waited for their enemy to come in sight.
Suddenly, the sound of clapping was heard and they saw the man emerging from under the water seemingly having only suffered some cut marks on his body which were regenerating slowly but surely.
They were shocked by his apparent regenerative powers and how he came out without a burn on him. Fugaku's fire magic was the most powerful and to be able to shrug it off was impossible!!
"I-I-Imposs-ssible how can he be not burnt!!" Fugaku explained sweating nervously.
"I have fire dragon slaying magic you just gave me more magic power!!" August explained his apparent immunity to fire.
Both of them were shocked fire magic of Phoenix or Blaze Magic was not working on him so he must be a fire dragon slayer. Now they were both somewhat exhausted, Fugaku more so than Minato, he was fighting from the start of the invasion.
He made his decision then, " Minato it's time we use our trump cards!!"
Minato nodded and both of them closed their eyes slowly August sensed their magic increasing beyond their magical capacity and they changed forms. Fugaku's skin on the area above his eyes appeared to be on fire and his ruby eyes were glowing radiantly with a slight orange tinge to them.
Minato on the other hand had black markings spread around his eyes and on his chin.
August didn't have time to react when a supernova of golden flames from above him and a yellow blur from underwater both appeared and punched him from the opposite side and crushed his face.
He was hurt badly and retreated and used barrier magic to defend himself from the Rasengan Minato used on him immediately after.
"Y-You both are i-impressive, I get why my majesty wants this land to be annihilated to the ground and that kid from six years ago killed!" August spoke while dodging several punches aimed at his face. He was having a really hard time even in his 100%
He never experienced such a fight where he couldn't use his copy magic and not understand the opponents' movements
"You'll never touch Naruto, I'll make sure of it!!" Minato snarled. He rarely lost his cool but when things came to his son he could do anything.
Seeing their leader being pushed, the Alvarez soldiers were now really afraid. These two monsters were able to force lord August on the defensive. The man who with just a motion of his hand defeated the other spriggans had unimaginable power and to overpower him even in their half-weakened states was impossible to believe!
Konoha mages were winning the other battles, pumped with motivation due to their leader having the upper hand against the enemy leader.
August was now really struggling, both of his opponents were now becoming more powerful with each second and their weird magic hit him even when he dodged.
He decided that now he will use the weapon his lord said would be needed. And prepared for the finishing move of this battle.
He brought out a lacrima full of vile dark energy and casually dropped it to the ground.
Seeing this both Minato and Fugaku's eyes widened and they planned their best defensive moves. Fugaku grew golden flaming wings that covered his body and Minato used hiraishin dorai to redirect the attack.
The lacrima hit the ground and August teleported to some safe distance away from the island. The burst of death magic then spread throughout the island and everyone present on the island had their lives sucked out of them. Fugaku wasn't lucky and the magic sucked every ounce of life from him.
Minato was able to redirect it but it hit his feet and slowly started taking out his life.
He fell onto the floor and gasped for air while looking at his beloved village. He just hoped that Kushina and Naruto were going to be alright.
Fortunately for him, the secrets of his power were still unknown to the world. No one noticed how unconsciously the seal on Naruto's neck throbbed and the space distorted around him and his mother to prevent the magic from taking their lives.
Minato just had one last thing to do. He took out a golden key and used it with the last of his magic. Then a bright light shone on the area and a female spirit who resembles a young woman with pink hair, brown eyes, and a pair of twisted horns on her head appeared. She wears clothes that have a white and fluffy wool-like getup.
Aries looked at her master and gasped, "Minato-sama what happened to you?"
Minato barely had his eyes open," Aries I am going to d-die. So I release our contract but there is just one job I have for you. Will you accept it?"
Aries was near the verge of collapsing with tears but held herself together and nodded her head shakily.
He was a very kind master. This village had no celestial mages before him for over a century and he was the only one now remaining so he cannot pass it on to anyone. He usually used her to provide for the lacking wool the village seemed to have and sometimes to play with Naruto-sama.
Minato took out a ring with a pearl on it like a lacrima which glowed red while another ring with the same design but a violet glow having the symbols of the Namikaze and Uchiha clan etched inside it which glowed a dazzling white and handed them to Aries who took it from his weak grip and held it protectively.
"Give this to Naruto and Seliah, these rings contain our soul tomb. We made it so if we die suddenly, then at least we could be with them and watch over them from within these rings and help guide them whenever they are going to lose their light!" Minato croaked out and coughed up a lot of blood
Then he took out a lacrima and handed it to her.
" It will explain everything. Please deliver this to them and while you do it make sure they are safe!!" Minato again spoke with a ragged voice as his eyes began to close and he looked up towards the sky watching an eagle flying through the sky towards the approaching moon.
Aries watched her master leave the land of living with a pained expression but then remembered his words and rushed out to find his son.
[ At the palace]
Aries came rushing into the palace to find a sight where the Kusanagi was stuck into Mikoto's chest while Naruto was holding her and trying to speak to her with tears flowing freely from his eyes.
Seliah was trying to be conscious but failing miserably as tears were flowing through her eyes. She was watching helplessly as her mother was taking her last breaths.
Kushina looked at her and noticed the rings and lacrima in her hands and a look of dread spread etched onto her face as she began to cry silently to not attract Naruto's attention and tried to ease her aching heart as she looked at her best friend dying.
"N-N-Naruto please calm down!! We have to help Seliah now!! Before she is sealed I will be preparing to apply the eight trigrams seal on her stomach so she can survive d-demonification, ok baby?!!" Kushina hugged Naruto from behind and comforted him while he was looking at Mikoto with pleading eyes, requesting her not to go.
Kushina shakily stood up and hugged a crestfallen Seliah before making her sleep on her back on the ground while holding her struggling body with golden chains. She started drawing the intricate designs on her stomach while suppressing the wild demonic energy spiraling out of her body with her chains.
"N-N-N-Naruto-kun...promise me to take care..." she coughs out more blood as she tries to talk to Naruto,"...be safe and always be your Mikoto-oba-san's cute and good little boy. Be with Seliah and protect her while I am gone alright, after all, you are her prince right?" Mikoto smiled with strain as she gasped for air and took long huffs of air to keep talking.
Naruto could only nod while crying rivers out of his eyes. He took her close to Seliah as Mikoto kissed and hugged her daughter for the last time in her life as she took her last breath and fell limp in Naruto's hands.
Seliah couldn't take it anymore and began screaming out for her kaa-chan to not go!! But to no avail.
"Sealing technique: Eight trigrams seal Fuin!!"
As the seal worked on Seliah, at the same time the book's title now had seliah's name on it and she began to glow.
Seeing this Aries rushed towards Naruto and handed him the scroll with everything his father gave but kept the violet ring with the Uchiha symbol in her hands,
"Naruto-sama these are the possessions your father wanted you to have!!"
Noticing the urgency in her voice Naruto took the ring in her hand but suddenly a thought struck his mind, "Wait t-tou-chan but..."
But he couldn't finish as Seliah began to glow with a bright purple glow..

Hello guys this is where the story starts. Sorry but Naruto wasn't able to fight but he will have much time in the future. And these characters deserve the attention and opportunity to showcase their power
Well, how did you like my OC antagonist and the magic I gave both Mikoto and Kushina? It was cool I think.
Don't worry there's still more in the next chapter and then perhaps Naruto will step on Ishgar and we will see the new badass adventure of a reasonably strong Naruto on earth land.
