The Nightmare Before Christmas

'Twas the Nightmare Before Christmas
And all over the world
Not a person was stirring
Not a boy, not a girl

The children were sleeping
All warm in the sack
And up on the roof
Was Skellington Jack

He jumped down the chimney
And entered the room
He placed out the toys
Which meant certain doom

Children aroused
From their warm, comfy beds
And opened their presents
One found a severed head

The children were tormented
By vampire ducks
Why didn't they have normal toys
Like dollies and trucks?

The parents complained
While the children were frightened
But Jack flew through the night
His excitement was heightened

He wasn't aware
Of the havoc he wreaked
Until his sleigh made a lurch
And he let out a shriek

His sleigh was shot down
And at the end of his flight
He said: "Merry Christmas to all
And to all a good night!"
