Chapter 13: Let The Bad TImes Roll
_Izuku's POV_
"Ok, you all clear on the plan?" Izuku asked the two.
"We go and get the guy in the basement while you get our guy from the top." Shoto replied.
"You act like we haven't done this type of thing before." Dabi responded.
"I know you have but he hasn't." Izuku replied while gesturing towards Shoto.
"I think I can handle a bne." Shoto responded.
"Just get the guy out and signal Kurogiri to warp you out." Izuku said before entering the building and beginning his part of the mission.
"Excuse me sir but you need an appointment to be in here." the receptionist informed him.
"Got a delivery for your boss, need his signature." Izuku replied while a disguised Shoto and Dabi wheeled in a large wooden crate.
"I'll sign for it and you can just leave it here." the receptionist replied.
"It has to be signed by him and him only." Izuku began, "Company policy."
"Okay, I'll ready the elevator for you." the receptionist replied.
"Thank you." Izuku replied while gesturing for the two to follow him into the elevator.
"Alright we're high enough." Izuku said while pushing the stop button.
"Is this part of the plan?" Shoto asked.
"Yeah, you guys will take the bomb to the basement through the elevator and set it to detonate before you leave. It's on timer so I will have 15 minutes to get out, thankfully with Kurogiri that should be enough time."
"What if they blocked warp quirks from working here?" Shoto asked.
"That's where plan b comes in." Izuku replied.
"And plan b is?" Dabi asked.
"Parachuting off the building." Izuku responded.
"Will that be strong enough to hold you both?" Shoto asked.
"It's a military parachute made to hold 800 pounds, we should be fine." Izuku responded while exiting the elevator.
_Shoto's POV_
"Any idea why we need to get some guy from a basement?" Dabi asked his younger brother.
"Probably because Draven thinks he could be useful in his attempts to take down our enemy." Shoto replied.
"Or he just has a kind heart or something like that." Dabi responded.
"What?" Shoto asked.
"Why do you think he took in Eri that quick or why did he save Izumi from their father?" Dabi asked.
"I don't know what this could be about this time." Shoto replied before the elevator doors opened.
"Hey what are you two doin…" a guard began to ask before getting hit by Dabi's flames.
"Hit the emergency stop button on that elevator." Dabi ordered his brother.
"Got it." Shoto replied.
I think who we're looking for is behind this door." Dabi responded before opening the only door in the basement to a nightmarish scene.
"Kaminari?" Shoto asked in shock at the state of his former classmate.
"You know this guy?" Dabi asked, looking at the emaciated blonde strapped to an electrical generator.
"Former classmate." Shoto began, "He was extremely critical of the things Bakugo would do and get away with. We were shocked but not surprised when All Might said he was expelled due to how close he was to Bakugo."
"And he sold them to the Hero Commision." Dabi began, "It's always the ones at the top that are the most corrupt."
"Let's get him out of here and back to the base." Shoto began while pulling the IV tube feeding an unknown chemical into his former classmate, "Hand me the quirk suppressants so he doesn't accidentally hurt us or himself with his quirk."
_Izuku's POV_
"Looks like Kurogiri got them out okay." Izuku said to himself while checking his messages, "I got 15 minutes before the bomb goes off."
Izuku entered the room that his intel told him his friend was being kept noticing his friend chained to a wall with a man in a black suit facing him and saying something in hushed tones.
"Is this a bad time or should I come back later?" Izuku asked, causing the man to turn to face him.
"Your the one from the sludge villain incident." the man began, "You went to jail for 30 days for that, you were tortured for 15 of them. I approved that by the way. I didn't have to have you tortured but i thought to my self fuck it and had you tourtured for the fun of it."
"So you're the guy Butcher told me about." Izuku replied, knowing he was addressing the president of the Hero Commision.
"Butcher is a relic from a bygone era.'' The president began, "People like me and All Might are the top of society while people like Katsuki Bakugo and to a lesser extent his sister are the future of our society."
"So the most flashy of us are placed at the top while the rest of us are left below?" Izuku began, "Isn't that what Homelander thought before he did his coup?"
"He succeeded in that coup." The president informed him while Rob was working on untying himself.
"Wasn't he killed by the combined efforts of the heroes Starlight and Black Noir and The Boys 10 minutes after he killed the President of the United states and his entire line of succession?" Izuku asked, buying time for Rob to untie himself and grab a knife from the president's desk.
"He was a true hero who went unappreciated." the president said before getting attacked from behind by Rob.
"GET US OUT OF HERE DRAVEN!" Rob yelled while continuing to attack the president.
"GET TO THE PORTAL!" Izuku yelled, not noticing the president switching focus to attack him.
"DON'T LET HIM TOUCH YOU!" Rob yelled before Izuku could react to the president advancing on him.
"To late." the president said while grabbing Izuku by the neck and putting a glowing hand on his face, causing Izuku to crumple to the floor.
"YOU BASTARD!" Rob yelled, sticking the knife in the lower back of the president before dragging Izuku to the portal.
_All for One's POV_
"What happened to him?" All for One asked while Garaki was hooking Izuku to several IVs.
"The president of the Hero Commision used his quirk on him." Rob began, "His touch causes him to send people to a catatonic state."
"Is there anything that can be done to help him?" Garaki asked.
"It can only be reversed by only him." Rob replied.
"So there's nothing we can do?" All for One asked.
"There might be something we can try." Rob informed the two.
"What is it?" Geraki asked.
"As you know I told you that he was my father but I wasn't his only child." Rob began, "One of my sisters had a similar ability so if we find her then we can probably convince her to wake him up."
"It's worth a shot." All for One began, "Why don't you get some sleep and I'll call my friend in the CIA to see if she can help find her."
"Okay. Thanks for sending someone to get me out." Rob responded.
"This was all Izuku's plan, not ours." All for One informed him, "Granted I would have done the same but he kind of beat me to it."
"Just try to get him back on his feet." Rob said before leaving the three in the room.
"How's the electrical kid doing?" All for One asked.
"He's fine now but if he was there any longer his brain could have been permanently damaged from continued use of his quirk." Garaki informed him.
"His quirk damages his brain?" All for One asked.
"Yeah, maybe there's something we can do to fix that." Garaki replied.
"Maybe I should take his quirk while he heals and after he's back in top shape ill give it back with one that protects his brain from electricity." All for One suggested.
"Probably the best thing to do for him right now." Garaki responded.
Authors Note: First 1-A Groupchat and now Draven, safe to say I'm back. Sorry i was gone so long, I was getting used to working 3rd shift and my laptop died on me after 4 years. Had to save up $1200 for a new one that was built to last and could easily run photoshop with no lag.
